Amazing elopement with Christine!
My Husband and I decided we wanted a small elopement with just our children and two close family member as witnesses. With just a few weeks notice Christine created the exact
Wedding we wanted. She put together a fantastic ceremony for us and directed us as needed with no prior rehearsal. The building itself was unique and beautiful and I cannot wait to get our pictures back from the photographer! Our wedding was all about our commitment to each other and our family without a whole lot of extra glam and glitz that comes with a larger wedding, but I'm sure if that is your style Christine would do a great job coordinating that as well!

Best place to have a wedding!
I had my wedding here April of 2023 and it was amazing. She made sure everything went smoothly and was very flexible on my crazy schedule. She was always willing to help where we needed it and her friendly, light hearted personality made the stressful moments scarce. She definitely made the wedding planning a lot easier for someone who has never planned a wedding before and always made sure it was the day I dreamed of. I highly recommend celebrations wedding chapel for the event of your dreams at an affordable price!

Perfect wedding day
Christine was a fantastic officiant who was flexible, experienced, informative and helpful, kind, patient and thoughtful. She guided us through the process of marriage, both in creating a beautiful ceremony and in assistance with technicalities like name changing. The chapel is better than the online pictures can even capture, it’s got SO much character and charm. The stained glass windows, antique furniture, and interesting trinkets were charming as can be. Christine’s ceremony builder helped us create the perfect outline for a nice presentation, and she is open to people of all backgrounds and beliefs or lack there of. The price for renting her chapel and officiant service is truly unbeatable and WELL worth the money. Could not be happier with how our ceremony went, highly recommend!!! On our wedding day Michigan was plagued with a horrific ice storm, but I hardly noticed because everything else was such a dream come true.

Ice storm didn’t stop us!
Christine drove over an hour to my home after a huge ice storm took out all the power at the chapel. Although I was unable to get married at the venue she was more than accommodating and drove to us so we could still get Married! She is such an amazing woman and we are so grateful for her working on the fly to make sure our day was special.

Our wedding day was perfect. She was pet friendly which is hard to find. The Chapel was so beautiful. She was very accommodating when my now wife found out she had COVID just a few days before the service. She let us reschedule our wedding and didn't charge us any extra. If you're looking for something small and very intimate her chapel should be top on your list

She gave us a far better experience than we could have imagined.
Everything was perfect from the minute I met her, even though it wasn’t. We had to change things several times and she was always east to deal with and accommodating.
As for our ceremony, well; it was as though she’d lived our entire experience. I’d recommend anyone to go to Celebrations!!

Christine was amazing!! We are both relatively introverted, and she really made us feel comfortable on a day that's all about us. Her ceremony builder was perfect as we didn't want to write our own vows and really didn't know what we wanted her to say. She was great at the rehearsal and had a lot of good tips for us including one we really found helpful, which is you can't cry and swallow at the same time - we both employed this tactic at the altar, ha! She also was really helpful with signing the license and making sure we filled it out correctly, along with sending it in for us. Thanks for all your help and for marrying us!!

Trying to plan a wedding during Covid was the hardest thing to ever do...we have been planning on marrying for awhile but at our ages, we just wanted simple and easy!! We held a small ceremony with 8 guests, and Christine was the perfect officiant and venue host. Throughout the planning period she was very easy to contact, and just radiated kindness and caring in every communication. Her experience is apparent, and she made it incredibly easy to break down the ceremony and plan it exactly how we wanted it, piece by piece. She was also very knowledgeable about the marriage license process, which was so helpful! Christine helped us have a sweet, stress free wedding day, and I would recommend her in a heartbeat.

We really were in search of something simple and quick due to our family not being able to be present with the current circumstances. Christine went above and beyond our expectations, we selected the quick elopement option and from the kind words in the written ceremony, pictures, and the beautiful arrangements in the chapel it was so much more than we expected. It was a lovely and personal experience which was just what we were looking for. I’m so glad I was able to find a place that was able to accommodate us during a worldwide pandemic. My husband and I had picked a location to elope, but they were not very accommodating. We decided to look elsewhere on short notice and luckily we found Christine at Celebrations. An amazing experience!
The place is antique, well preserved and beautifully decorated. Christine, the reverend, is very kind and attentive. She wrote a beautiful personalized ceremony that touched our hearts and will remain in our memories. We highly recommend this place.

Charming little Victorian chapel
Working with Christine was amazing… She was warm and friendly and the chapel has such beautiful historical Victorian charm!!! We had the most beautiful winter wedding in the beautiful town of Horton. This is definitely a treasure hidden out of the way

Christine was so helpful and flexible and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxed and fun day. Christine helped us realize our vision for a small immediate family wedding and handled our last minute changes like a pro! She gave us so much to work with, options for each part of the ceremony, and made our day feel so special. I can’t say enough about how awesome Celebrations Wedding Chapel and Your Day Your Way Celebrations was! Can’t recommend highly enough!

Amazing, flexible officiants.
They were amazing and made our ceremony about us. They sent a ceremony builder for us to choose what we would like to have included. They were so quick to respond and very friendly, I never felt like I was a bother to them. Sue preformed our ceremony and did an excellent job. I would highly recommend using them if you are in need of an officiant.

Amazing experience!
Christine performed our ceremony offsite and it was absolutely perfect. We skipped a rehearsal and everything went very smoothly even when we had to move things inside at the last moment due to rain. She is soft spoken and sweet which helped to calm our nerves. She was quick to respond to questions during the planning process, always kind, and very professional. I honestly could not have asked for a better officiant. My husband and I were completely satisfied and received many compliments about our ceremony. We would highly recommend Christine to anyone in need of an officiant. Thank you!

A beautiful little chapel tucked away in the country
Christine was wonderful. She was very flexible and in tune with what we wanted. She even let us bring out dog. The chapel was beautiful and picturesque. It was really perfect for a personal private and intimate elopement. I didn't want to bring my kids to the court house but I wanted them part of it. This was the perfect way to make my kids feel included in the wedding. Christine was really accommodating and I recommend 100%.

Christine performed our ceremony off-site, and hiring her was a wonderful decision. My husband and I absolutely loved that we got to customize our ceremony to make it exactly what we wanted, and we received SO many compliments on how beautiful it was. Christine was very thorough and detailed, and helped ensure that everything was exactly in place for our ceremony. She is a wonderful, lovely person who radiates such a kind and loving energy! She did exactly as I asked, and we couldn't have been happier! She took our instructions seriously - & her rates are BEYOND RESONABLE - other brides I know had paid more than double & received less - you cannot beat this beautiful place ! the backdrop indoors or out - Gorgeous! IMPRESSED!!! I located Celeberations Wedding Chapel via a Google search. My husband and I wanted something small and intimated and this place had it all. Planning a wedding can be stressful, and for us, we were about an hour and a half away, so going to the chapel in person wasn't an option, and we planed a wedding in a week and a half. Christine was amazing. She took all the stress out of everything. She answed every question and keep all lines of communication open. That part right there was a breath of fresh air. When we arrived, she was ready, and just waited on us to get dressed. She conducted the ceremony with grace and didn't rush through it. She gave us the time and memory we waited for to become husband and wife.

The Chapel itself is beautiful. The stained glass windows are breathtaking. Christine has the perfect decorations inside that really set the tone (lights, flowers). Beautiful stone church, a lot of character, beautiful antique furniture on the inside. We had a hard time deciding what time of day to have the wedding because at night the stained glass windows light up from the outside and it's so beautiful. During the day the sun shines in on the stained glass windows making for perfect pictures. Nice dressing area for the bride and groom on opposite sides of the church keeping us from seeing each other.
I cannot speak enough of the help the Christine provided. There was such a lack of stress. She literally took care of everything. She was easily reachable, very reliable and organized as well as professional. Christine takes care of the music while also guiding the wedding party down the aisle. I planned my entire wedding stress-free in a weeks time. Christine will send you some info on what to do step by step via email. You just make your selections with music and vows based on what she sends you (or make up your own stuff) and she makes everything else happen. Prior to the wedding my husband started to become very nervous, called Christine with questions and she calmed him right down. On the day of my wedding, she helped alleviate many of my fears and anxieties. She did a perfect job marrying us. The entire wedding ceremony was beautiful and perfect. You cannot go wrong choosing Celebrations Wedding Chapel as your wedding venue!

I am so glad we chose Christine Tanier to be the officiant for our wedding. She performed the service beautifully and took note of all the little things we wanted to add or change. Before the big day was when Christine was the biggest help. Behind the scenes she helped us through picking our readings all the way to who would walk with who, and how the whole ceremony would go. Her ceremony planner is full of fantastic ideas and really made planning the ceremony quick and easy. Which was especially helpful with everything else you have to worry about as a bride!
After the ceremony she assisted again in helping us find a location for the signing of our marriage license, how to file it, and helpful tips for changing my name. This made that daunting task much less of a burden.
If you are looking for an officiant who is professional and will be there through the entire planning process from start to to finish Christine Tanier should be your choice!

The chapel itself is wonderful. It's rustic, warm and unique. It was nice to see that the cozy and personal feeling of the chapel was so tangle that it showed up in our photos. This venue is very unique and intimate with such character. I don't think we could have found a more perfect place to wed. The atmosphere speaks of tradition and history, a ceremonial location like no other. Our guests were very comfortable, there are amazing settings for photography and our entire family and many children felt very welcomed. The officiant is kind, organized and incredibly helpful.

Christine was amazing and made our day everything we could have wanted. Even with us changing our date to a day earlier she never got frustrated. She's a sweetheart and only wants your day to be everything you imagined!

What an great experience. We wanted a simple wedding. I couldn't have pictured it any better. Amanda made us feel right at home and very caring. I will be recommending this venue to all my friends. Thank you so much!

Our wedding was perfect thanks to Christine. The chapel was absolutely
beautiful. Everything I imagined it to be. Beautiful stain glass windows,
and Christine was so accommodating and made us & our guests feel
very special & most welcome.
It's a magical chapel and once you step in you feels so at home & I know
I had a hard time leaving the church after the ceremony.
It was the most memorable day of my life and I will cherish it always.

Rev. Amanda did an amazing job at our son and now daughter's wedding. She is a professional that helped them create the perfect day and their beautiful vows to each other. Rev. Amanda kept the ceremony on target with timing and has a wonderful calm personality that kept the bride and groom at ease. Her delivery and presentation were outstanding. Your Day Your Way Celebrations was so helpful and pays attention to detail(s), wedding certificate, name change, etc. Very efficient, professional, and thorough.

Christine was so nice and soft spoken. The ceremony was absolutely amazing and beautifully written. I like that we were able to pick the saying for the whole thing.

Christine is a wonderful women! I would definitely recommend her to anyone! She's great at what she does and she'll let you do whatever makes you happy, that's what she's there for. We loved her!!!! Absolutely amazing in every aspect from the very beginning to even after it was over. She has a wonderfully warm personality. We loved the ceremony building packet she includes, it makes the whole experience that much more personal. Highly recommended, you will not be disappointed!

We were particularly appreciative of her attention to detail in her willingness to allow us to personalise anything we wanted and when she respectfully enquired about the correct pronunciation of names in our ceremony.
