Gail was truly amazing and made our wedding ceremony incredibly personal, heartfelt, and smooth from start to finish. She took the time to get to know us, listened carefully to what we wanted, and graciously granted all of our requests—every detail felt intentional and meaningful.
Her calm, warm presence put us completely at ease, and she even embraced the joyful, lighthearted moments that made our ceremony so us (including the laughter). The way she guided the flow of the ceremony made everything feel seamless and stress-free, allowing us to fully enjoy every second.
We are so grateful to Gail for creating such a beautiful, personal ceremony that we will cherish forever. We highly recommend her to any couple looking for an officiant who genuinely cares and goes above and beyond. -

From our first conversation on the phone, to the many emails back and forth, to the ceremony itself Gail was so wonderful. She was so enthused and supportive of our decision to get married at the place we met exactly 20 years ago- the Santa Barbara City College track! We got married on the 20 yard line.
The ceremony itself was absolutely amazing and beautiful! The vows Gail had us repeat brought tears to our eyes. I know we will look back and always cherish this fantastic day.
We were SO happy we found Gail to officiate our wedding. What a blessing! The price was very reasonable too. Do not hesitate to hire her for your special day! She is the best! -

We couldn’t have asked for a better officiant than Gail Kelley Murray. Our wedding ceremony was heartfelt, personal, and truly special—everything she said felt like it was written just for us. Gail has such a warm and genuine presence that instantly put us at ease.
She was also incredibly flexible and calm under pressure. Another wedding nearby at the Santa Barbara Courthouse turned out to be extremely loud, but Gail didn’t miss a beat. She handled the situation gracefully and carried on with our ceremony exactly where we had planned. It was perfect.

She was also very affordable, which was such a blessing while planning a wedding. But the value she brought went far beyond anything we could have expected.

I can’t say enough good things about Gail. From our first meeting her enthusiasm and excitement for our wedding was a God send. We wanted to get married at sunrise and other officiants we interviewed were not willing to accommodate us. She had to leave her house before sunrise but was early and ready to go. I felt as if she was a long lost friend or relative - she was that invested in our wedding. She allowed us to preview the vows and accepted our requests for minor customizations. That made our wedding all the more intimate. I would HIGHLY recommend her services. -

Gail was wonderful to work with and we highly recommend her services! From our initial contact, she's been communicative and consistent, even meeting with us over FaceTime to discuss our ideal ceremony.
On the day of, she was flexible when our ceremony slightly changed (we opted not to go for a unity candle at the last minute), which we greatly appreciated. Everyone loved her energy, and we're so happy we had Gail as our wedding officiant. -

That's what we heard from every single one of our guests for our intimate ceremony of around 50 guests at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in July 2023.
Gail worked with my now-husband and I to create the most touching and personal wedding ceremony for us over the course of about 6 months. She put so much thought and effort into writing our ceremony for us and while we were not local to the area, she was able to Zoom with us beforehand to go over all the details with us and tweak the things we would like to change to make it truly US. We asked for a special way to honor my husband's children from his previous marriage and she was more than accommodating and even worked with my father independently so that he could surprise us with a special heartfelt reading during our ceremony.
We asked for a brief rehearsal the day before since our bridal party included children and she was extremely kind and generous with her time in answering any and all questions the kids (and all the adults!) had about the ceremony.
She filed our paperwork very quickly and about 10 days later we already have our official license in hand!
I could not recommend Gail enough to anyone and everyone getting married in the Santa Barbara area. -
