There is nobody like Yunita. She has a heart of gold and is so much fun to work with. She took all of our wildest ideas and helped turn them into everything we wanted. Not only are the cakes absolutely incredible but they taste DELICIOUS!
We had less people attend our wedding than expected so we thought we’d have some leftover cake — wrong. People couldn’t get enough!! We can’t wait to use You Need A Cake for all of our future cakes. She’s the greatest to work with and such a joy to be around.

Yunita is so talented at what she does and made our cake come to life! She really makes sure you can try all of the combinations at your tasting and lets you take creative control. She made sure our cake would be delicious and beautiful! Thank you Yunita! -
Hannah Sent on 05/04/2018Yunita did an outstanding job on my wedding cake! She did a 4-tier purple and gold geode cake with a geode slice cake topper! Everyone thought they were real crystals she did such an amazing job! The cake was also sooo delicious! Three words: SALTED CARAMEL ICING!!! All of her icing and cake flavors stand out from you average boring wedding cake. Book Yunita if you want people to be impressed by not only her amazing designs but he wonderful taste! The cake tasting tray was so much fun to do with my groom! And she will bake you a fresh cake on your anniversary so you can use all of your cake and not worry about freezing the top tier. She was very excited every time we talked and really puts all her effort into her work! She also did our wedding shower cake and we had people asking if they could take it home it was so good! She also made an all gold cake for my sister's wedding last year! You're in good hands and will have no worries if you book with her!

Lisa Sent on 02/09/2016We got married June 11, 2016 at the Reed Conference Center sheraton in Midwest City, and our wedding colors was lavender, pink, light blue, mint green and white, and we found you need a cake and we meet her and she said to go with purple and white since we had so many colors did not want it to look like a birthday cake, and it had ruffle plain ruffle plain,and was lavender and white and some bling since our cake stand had bling as well, and she drop it off to where the reception was which was at our house in the back yard, and we got married at noon and i know all wedding dont start on time, and she delivered it around 100 ish and the bridal party got pick up before we did after the wedding and bride and groom was later to come, and when we got there , our cake was in the house and its was soooo beauiful, and just when i was gonna call her and says how great it was she was there, and ask if i like it and i said of course and my husband did too, and she ask if that where it was stay and i said no can u put it in the outdoor gazebo and now it was 98 degrees out and sunny and she said it would be fine, and it was out there until about 6 or 7 pm and it was fine and it was great tasting cake everyone loved the cake, we got a 4 tier cake since we was taking the top to cover and freeze for one year, and we had each layer different flavor we had choc, we had white bridal and yellow cake and choc, and had butter cream , peanut butter and ect, and it was to die for i am so happy that you need a cake made our wedding cake and cup cakes, and she does cake pops and cookies, and she the best , i wish i could of added a picture of the cake, cause she should be proud of her cakes, i am so happy i found her, she make the best cakes and frosting, and i know her a few months and i feel like i known her for years she nice, my husband and I are very happy and pleased with the service you need a cake did, she did a amazing job on our wedding cake and everyone should too -

Lindsey Sent on 05/11/2016We were so confused on who to use & finally found Younita and we are so glad we chose her! My wedding was in April 2016 and she did amazing! We had a cake tasting (her cake is bomb) and had so many choices for fillings and cake flavors, it was great. We got a 5 tier barely naked cake and it was beautiful!! I also did a surprise Grooms cake for my husband. We did it chocolate and peanut butter! She made a replica of his old truck that was like his baby. It was even a little different because it was a beat up old truck, and she made it look just like the pictures we showed her! You should for sure use Youneedacake! -

User2524072 Sent on 02/01/2016Yunita was unprofessional and difficult to contact. Her website (which she referred us to when we requested information) was down. She charged for a cake tasting. She was pushy and judgmental when we wanted to discuss ideas and pricing. She badmouthed another vendor (one with whom we had a great experience) in front of us. She tried really hard to convince us to use fondant for our cake designs, when I said up-front that I wanted a simple, buttercream-only style. Neither I nor my fiance was overly impressed with the cake we tasted. It was such a bad experience that we ultimately went with another vendor. -

Couldn't schedule a weeknight appoint or weekend appointment. I work til 530 and they couldn't do 6pm. They also would not do weekends.You Need A Cake's reply:
Hi Solana,
I am so sorry about all this but we don’t do weekend tastings because that’s when we are out on delivery all day. Most tastings are scheduled in advance and I apologize that the dates that work for you are all full on our end.
