Photography is always a topic that I get nervous about because many photographers feel that they know best and your eye just won't make anything pretty. From the very first conversation I had with Scott, I was at ease. He assured me that the emotion and love from our wedding would be his sole focus and boy did he mean it! The photos are more than just Instagram PR like many others, they are art that tells the story of this day. He caught moments I wasn't even aware anyone saw. Every single picture he produced was more than I could have ever expected and we are so thankful for these mini time capsules that will forever bring back the day two lives became one. Thank you Scott. -

Scott was hands down the best vendor we hired for our wedding. First of all, he was incredibly understanding and flexible when we had to reschedule our wedding at the last minute. He was able to capture amazing photos of my husband and I and made us feel comfortable despite how camera-shy we both are. Not only are his photos amazing, he managed to really encapsulate our spirit and the vibe we wanted for our wedding in each one. I am so glad that Scott was available for our wedding! I'm not kidding, just hire him! -

Scott Takes Beautiful Photos!
We hired Scott when we still had hope of a big wedding, but when our plans changed, and we decided on an intimate backyard wedding, he not only was flexible but he put us at complete ease, reassuring us that our DIY style would shine through and that he loves challenges. Seeing his photos, we can't agree more- he found unique ways of shooting an unconventional venue gorgeously, and he captured our personalities. I have to mention, we had a mostly outdoor event on an EXTREMELY humid and hot day in Austin and Scott worked incredibly hard without a second shooter without stopping for hours. He truly went above and beyond our expectations. We cannot thank him enough! -

Scott was nothing short of amazing and we can not thank him enough for making our vision come to light. He made us feel extremely comfortable and was such a pleasure to work with. He and Naomi were so easy going which helped us loosen up and ensured our special day was as stress-free as possible. I don't think I could have found a better photographer and I think I got so lucky to have found him. My husband is very camera shy and Scott was so great with us. He was easy to talk to and get along with. Captured even the moments that we had just breezed by in the excitement of the day. He sent us a sneak peak the same night and delivered the rest of the gallery within the week The pictures are way better than I could have even hoped for. -

Best vendor of my whole wedding!
Scott Yoder is undoubtably the best vendor we had at our wedding. From beginning to end he was responsive, professional, flexible, and understood the importance of his role. We already had our engagements done at the time of booking, so he let me do Bridals instead. I had an idea of what I wanted... he BLEW it out of the park - well over exceeded my expectations. I cried when I saw my bridals.
Now the wedding.. we had a call before the wedding to go over everything. He is tentative and sensitive to every situation (and I had several situations to be sensitive to). The groomsmen and my husband had a BLAST getting their pictures done! I could tell that Scott also had FUN capturing all of these special moments. He had a smile on his face every step of the way.
Do yourself a favor and book Scott Yoder. You will not regret it! -

Our wedding photos are BEAUTIFUL!! Scott is the man!
Scott is absolutely fantastic! From our initial phone conversation with him (we knew immediately we wanted to book him!) to our final photo delivery, he was so kind, professional, and passionate about photography.
My husband and I both love photography and often take photos for our friends and family. We knew we wanted to find a photographer for our wedding who captured the things we love most about photography like movement, emotion, and those tiny details you often miss during big events.
I think finding a wedding photographer who is passionate and curious about photography is KEY to finding someone who will deliver beautiful memories of your day because they love the process and big emotions of such a momentous event. I can say with confidence Scott is all that and more. If there were shots we asked about and he hadn't tried yet, he was so excited to learn and we ended up with stunning results. Our light-writing photo is proof of this! :)
I can’t say enough positive things about Scott and his team. They are truly talented individuals who understand the importance of your wedding day, and you can rest easy knowing your photos are in great hands!! -

Scott captured our engagement and wedding pictures. He even let our daughter be part of the session. Our wedding was rescheduled due to COVID and Scott assured us that no matter what our plans were, he would be there for us. We ended up having a backyard wedding at my dads and the pictures came out beautifully!!! Some of the pictures look as if we were at an actual venue! Thank you so much Scott!!! -

Phenomenal Photos
I loved our engagement photos that Scott shot and was blown away with the photos from our wedding. Scott is nice and calming. He is so easy to work with. There were a lot of things I stressed out about for the wedding, but I never worried about our photos- Scott is a professional and had it covered. He made sure to get all the photos I wanted from my wedding and he captured so many great moments I would of missed.
When you get your photos back they are organized and it’s easy to find the pictures you want! It’s a small detail that made my life so much easier. I can’t wait to work with Scott again.

Do not keep looking’
I don’t have enough wonderful things to say about Scott! He did our engagement photos about a year ago, which were amazing, and recently shot our wedding! I got the photos back within just a few weeks and they are the most beautiful pictures I have ever seen! He captured all of the happiness and love throughout the day! I really can’t describe how much these pictures mean to me, we will treasure them forever!
Anytime we had a question or suggestion, he was very quick to respond and such an easy person to work with!
I HIGHLY recommend using him!! -

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Scott and his creativity! Scott is an absolute professional and just a wonderful person. He was on time for all of our meetings and the wedding. Within 3-4 hours of our wedding ending, Scott sent almost 20 edited, sneak-peek photos for us to start sharing with friends and family. He worked well with our coordinator, with us, and all of the guests he interacted with. He is such a kind and genuine person that he put everyone at ease which makes for better photos.
I would highly recommend making time to wander your venue or other area to let Scott find awesome photo opportunities. We were fortunate that our wedding day was on-schedule so we had an hour or so left to wander the historic downtown area around our venue. Some of my favorite shots came from this time. Scott would walk with us, tell us when to stop, give us some direction, than start taking photos. He knew what we loved and gave us some of our favorite photos during that time.
All of this to say, Scott is a fantastic photographer, a professional, and a really wonderful person! Highly recommend! -

Scott is a multidimensional all in one photographer. He is a true emerging artist in this field of work. He captures a story in all the moments at an event. Scott did my engagement party weekend with covering two drastically different events. A traditional ceremony and a cocktail event. So reasonable and flexible. He completely took care of me, my event and captured the best moments there as well. Would highly recommend if you want your day to be the best. -

Amazing Work!
From the get go, Scott was super responsive and wonderful at communicating with me to help me see my wedding vision. When I first saw his work, I could see how his intuition plays a big part in how and when he shoots. I was right! I love being right. :)
Throughout the planning process he was awesome about reaching out and was extremely accommodating, walking through ideas with me...totally open to questions and suggestions on what would work with the venue we chose, timing, lighting, etc...felt super comfortable with him. Then THE BIG DAY. This dude was on top of it. there were some things that didn't go exactly as we planned it and he worked around it, got breathtaking shots I will cherish for the rest of my life and thought out of the box to get some outdoor back-lit OMG shots that were just, well...made me feel SO SMART for hiring him.
Excellent work, conscientious guy, genuinely a good person who I plan to re-hire as soon as we have another big life event we want properly documented!

Absolutely Fantastic!
Scott was hands down the best photographer we have ever worked with! He did our engagement photos and photographed our wedding. He was genuine, he listened to every request and made sure we had exactly what we wanted, and not to mention the extreme last minute change of venue and how on board he was with it all. Also, who’s photographer jumps in and just starts helping fold napkins when the wedding is running late?? Ours did! Our guests at the wedding absolutely LOVED him, as do we! His photos are high quality, stunning, and beautifully candid. We will not use anyone else for our photography needs, he was fantastic and just an all around pleasure to be around. Thank you so much Scott!

Scott did an amazing job at our wedding! My husband is not a fan of pictures and Scott did a great job of catching truly candid pictures that look absolutely stunning. Her lessened to our wants and needs, captured our perfect day in the most perfect way, and was very fast with the turn around. Scott was such a blessing to my husband & I. He photographed our engagement at an alpaca farm & always had an amazing attitude about any of our eclectic ideas. He captured our wedding on September 13th, 2019, and got such gorgeous photos of the entire day. We had two venues, a 1920's style wedding, a bubble tunnel, a car-send-off, a caricaturist, a bounce house, Nerf Gun Wars, a photo booth, games, a dance floor, a sparkler tunnel, and a carriage send-off, and he managed to shoot EVERYTHING perfectly. His photos of décor, dancing, people, architecture, animals, and signage are SPECTACULAR. We will be hiring him for family photos for the rest of our lives. He is such a kind, gentle, and genuine spirit that truly is passionate and gets excited with you. AMAZING MAN, AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHY! -

Scott Yoder was very flexible and understanding of our wedding needs, and wants. We hired him because we liked his artictic view. We were not disappointed. We asked him to get action shots because we wanted to see the people dancing, and having fun. We have a lot of really good pictures, where people are naturally smiling. We also had the traditional posing pictures. We are really happy with the work he did for our wedding. -

We found Scott through thumbtack. He was in our budget and from his online portfolio I knew immediately that I wanted him to help capture my amazing day. We had a phone conversation to go over what all we wanted captured and what we didn't really need since we were on a shorter schedule than most couples. He was so helpful and very flexible with my venue's demands.
He was early the day of, got all the pictures I wanted and some I didn't even think to want. He stepped in a fountain for us just got the the perfect shot! We were married at 7pm and had a send off at 9pm, Scott had a preview to us that SAME NIGHT. He was very professional and we all had a great time.Yoder & Co.'s reply:

I found Scott on Thumbtack. The first reason was for the reasonable pricing and as I looked through his work I knew it was the perfect fit for my fiancé and I. He was very responsive - & also reached out to make sure he had the details in order. The day of he was even more impressive. Worked well in short time frames with large bridal party & got the most beautiful shots. Overall I would say it was a blessing to have Scott on my team on my big day. -

Amazing experience!
Our experience with Scott as our wedding photographer was amazing! He did such a great job capturing all the wonderful details of our special day. Prior to our wedding, Scott was very good at communicating with us about everything we wanted. He really went above and beyond to accommodate everything we talked about. I even voiced my concern to Scott about the possibility of rain, and he showed up with the cutest umbrellas for my wedding party to use for our outdoor photos (which turned out to be some of my favorite pictures ever). Since we planned our wedding very quickly, having a photographer that was so flexible was such a big help. Scott was very personable and everybody in our wedding party loved him. Not only did our pictures turn out amazing, we received all our wedding photos back SOOO quickly. All of our friends/family couldn’t stop complimenting how amazing every single photo turned out. I would 100% recommend Scott to anybody looking for a photographer!

Beautiful and Treasured Photos For Life

We love Scott, he showed up when I did and began immediately catching all the setting up, getting ready and the ceremony. He respected our wishes by not being so up in the face during the ceremony. He got us our photos back in a very timely manor which we appreciated as well. We would definitely recommend him to anybody looking for a photographer!
