We had the absolute DELIGHT to have Kody from YO DJ for our wedding and could not be more pleased with his company and services. Kody was a full service gentleman from ceremony to announcements throughout our day, his personable manor and willingness to lend a hand in any way made working with him the easiest part of planning our wedding. The dance floor was full, energy was high, and we had (and continue to receive) so many compliments on our DJ. Kody made a positive impact and made it memorable for our guests. We couldn’t imagine our day going any better and highly recommend this service!

Could not ask for a better DJ!

I honestly was blown away by Kody!!! He was extremely receptive, responded to emails fast, we had our prep call a few weeks before the wedding and then I just relaxed and let him do his thing! He hyped the crowd the perfect amount, and has a great DJ voice (LOL). Everything went smoothly thanks to him, and I danced so much that I couldn’t walk the next day. AND, he created an amazing wedding video for free that he showed all of us at the end of the night, super talented. Thank you Kody!!!

Above and Beyond! Thanks, Corey!

We had the absolute best experience with Corey from YoDJ for our wedding! He was organized, punctual, and extremely professional, which made everything feel seamless and stress-free.

Not only did they keep the reception fun and the dance floor packed with great music choices, but they also played a huge role in keeping the entire day on track with our timeline. We also loved that the video recorded our ceremony and captured some amazing reception pictures and videos! The mirror Photo Booth was also 100% worth it! Our guests had so much fun with it, and we have so many great memories because of it.

If you’re looking for a wedding DJ team that goes above and beyond, YoDJ is it. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Five stars all the way! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Yo Dj was one of the best vendors I’ve ever experienced! They were professional, yet sooo fun! They were attentive and listened to my visions! An Amazing Day!

Corey and team did an amazing job with our wedding! To say he’s prepared for anything is an understatement! He kept the day moving and everything sounded great! The Photo Booth was a huge hit and everyone loved it. He even incorporated the flowers we used on all of our print material on the background of the Photo Booth prints. All the little details made the day extra special.

Best Dj Hands Down!

Kody was amazing to work with! Super accommodating and easy to work with! He kept the dance floor alive the whole night and we got so many comments about how great he was with everything!! He put together a couple min video of our day that us and our guests got to watch. Would highly recommend Kody!!

Wedding DJ

We had Kody be the DJ at our wedding on September 13th. We could not recommend him enough!! He is very talented at what he does. Our night ran so smoothly and he was a HUGE part of that. He is so personable and professional. The equipment that he uses is too notch so for the ceremony and speeches everyone was heard very well. Everyone was dancing all night! 10/10 recommend!!

wedding review- recommend!!!

We recommend using Matt from Yo DJ to be the DJ at your wedding. He was super easy to work with and very responsive to emails. Matt took the time to listen to what we wanted and did not want played during our wedding. Matt sent us a planning sheet that helped us think about our music needs during our wedding, it also ensured that he was on the same page as us. He did an amazing job with the music for our ceremony and our reception. Matt had everyone out on the dance floor all night long. He found the right mix of music that got our crowd engaged and having a blast. From start to finish, working with Matt from Yo DJ was so easy and positive.

Phenomenal service!

We could not have asked for a better DJ!! Corey absolutely crushed it. From coordinating last-minute walkout songs for our bridal party to keeping the dance floor PACKED all night long, he went above and beyond. Everyone was raving about him—our guests, parents, even the little kids were out there dancing. He made everything feel seamless, fun, and stress-free.

Best DJ Ever for our Wedding!

James @ YO DJ ensured me they were top notch and they were 1000/10 top notch. It may have been 95 degrees but we partied all day and all night. Not to mention he met with us all the times we needed to make sure everything went smooth. From the moment we first spoke with Corey, we knew we had found someone special. Corey wasn’t just a DJ—he became a trusted partner in the entire wedding process. From day one, he was kind, professional, responsive, and genuinely excited to help make our day unforgettable. He assured us that we would be in good hands and that we’d have nothing to worry about… and he was not wrong!

Leading up to the wedding, Corey went above and beyond. He took time to get to know us, asking thoughtful questions about our musical tastes and our vision for the ceremony and reception. He offered great suggestions, was incredibly organized throughout, and was willing to meet with us as much as we needed. Planning with him felt easy and fun.

The best experience you can ask for!

Yo Dj helped us have the wedding of our dreams! One of the things we wanted most, was for everyone to be on the dancefloor all night, and James helped us make that happen! We had multiple zoom meetings to make sure he got the full picture of exactly what we were looking for. I knew James beforehand, and have been to multiple events he was at. Before I was engaged, I already knew I needed him to be at our wedding. He brings all of his own equipment even if the venue has everything there, because he doesn't want to rely on anyone else having what he needs. Another favorite part is that he always has music videos playing during the songs which adds a whole new level to the fun on the dance floor. Highly recommend!

Corey Young/Yo DJ is top of the line!

Corey is both a DJ and wedding planner all in one. He's a bit pricier than other services, but it's for a reason, and he will be your go-to guy the entire wedding day. Corey's presence on the day of the wedding made me feel as though I didn't need to worry about anything. He played music from before the 2 p.m. ceremony all the way until 11 p.m. at close. Someone at the wedding told me he even got them a couple drinks at the bar so they didn't have to go up there (didn't pay for the drinks, but offered his services obviously). He is literally a personal assistant. And the music was just what my daughter wanted--I danced so much I tore something in my knee....worth it!!

I found Yo DJ from a friend’s wedding I attended and knew instantly I wanted them for my wedding! My wife & I got married 10.25.24 and we had James as our DJ. From the beginning, he was absolutely incredible. So kind & compassionate, flexible and able to make everything we wanted exactly how we wanted it. He perfected my isle walk out song for me and kept our guests on the dance floor all night. There was NEVER an empty dance floor. From start to finish, the professionalism, talent and kindness shined through on our special day from James. Always checking in on us and making sure we were happy. Incredible DJ/incredible experience

Kody Burg did such an amazing job with our wedding, I could not recommend him more! The entire process was seamless and Kody made it easy and was always professional! I loved that there was an app we got to pick out my music and organize it! We had a video chat to finalize everything about a month before the wedding.

He made sure everything during the entire wedding ceremony and Reception ran smoothly and worked so well with our other vendors. Our entire dance floor was packed with people all night and our guests really enjoyed the Photo Booth as well!

The video Kody made for us was a huge surprise and getting to watch it at the reception was truly special!

I am so glad we had the chance to work with him and it really did make the entire evening amazing

Best Day Ever

You must book Corey Young for your event! There was one thing we did not have to worry about as we planned for our wedding, and that was Corey. From our first meet and greet until the big day, Corey was there for us answering questions, making suggestions and keeping us in the loop. When our wedding day finally arrived, Corey was there on time and coordinated everything, so it came together perfectly. From emcee, to DJ, to photo/video-grapher – he nailed it! We wanted a unique, fun-filled experience for everyone there and Corey made sure that happened. Our guests laughed, cried, and danced, and danced and danced – and Corey captured it all! Amazing party!

Corey did an amazing job at our wedding this last weekend! He was really a dj, coordinator, and videographer all in one. I got so many compliments on how fun the weddings was which really stemmed from Corey keeping the party hyped all night long! The dance floor was always packed and the photo booth was fun as well. One of the most unique aspects was the “dancing on clouds” effect he offered for our first dance which literally made it look like we were dancing on clouds. My favorite part was the end of wedding video he provided with our vows playing over the top. That was so special and done very well! There was no need for a videographer because of this and he did it all during the wedding and played it for the party at the very end. Overall I couldn’t recommend Corey and Yo DJ enough!

Wedding Day 03.02.2024

Kody with Yo DJ Entertainment was absolutely AMAZING! From the very beginning, he put so much time and effort into making sure our wedding day was going to be absolutely perfect. Picking a top notch DJ was one of my top priorities when it came to wedding planning, and Kody exceeded our expectations! He was very receptive with any and all communications throughout the process and responded in a very timely manner! He even helped me with putting together a slideshow for my father-daughter dance that turned out spectacular! (And also put up with all of my last minute changes and requests without any hesitation!) We had some very specific requests in regards to timing of songs with the ceremony and he absolutely nailed it! It is very evident that his main goal is to make sure that your night goes exactly how you envision it! In addition, Kody also created a special slideshow towards the end of the night with highlights of our wedding day that brought BOTH my husband and I to tears! We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than Kody. Would 12/10 recommend him for your special day!

Welcome Party

Throughout the process, James was in communication with us to personalize the music creating a perfect atmosphere for our outside cocktail hour and our indoor dinner. We communicated with him a week or so before the wedding to finalize all the details, so the music was tailored to our requests.

James checked in with us throughout the night and was very helpful for those that were giving speeches. He instructed how to use and hold the microphone relieving some of their stress. From start to finish he helped us make the day special and made sure everything went well so that we could relax and enjoy the party.

We would recommend using Yo Dj to anyone looking for a polished, professional, and fun DJ to add to whatever kind of party you’re planning.

I knew Kody from college and he was gracious enough to squeeze us into his schedule for 2023, and we couldn't have been more grateful! He was so easy to work with all year long and totally understood and executed our vibe perfectly! Everything from the lights, to the music, to the photo booth. We last minute added the Photo Booth onto our package and I am SO thankful we did. it was a huge hit and our guests had a blast! Kody kept the dance floor packed literally all night long and that was our biggest hope for our wedding day! So many guests complimented us on our DJs and absolutely loved how much fun they were having right along with us too. Thank you Kody for making our ceremony and reception perfect!

Corey @ Yo Dj - there are not enough stars to accurately give you credit for how much of a postive impact you had on our wedding day. From the first conversation to the very last moment Corey went above and beyond to be considerate and thoughtful to how our day went. Thinking ahead and using his knowledge for both suggestions and explanations to any question we had was beyond helpful. But truly so much more than that- it felt like we had a friend helping us take care of this part of the wedding for us - not someone we hired. Professionalism was amazing but personality was the shining star. Corey took it upon himself to shovel an area on our snowy wedding day that was for a picture idea...just because that was one thing he could do to help make it perfect! Absolutely recommend!!

We hired Corey for our wedding in December and could not recommend him enough. From our first meeting we knew Corey would be an awesome DJ (and person) to work with. He is upbeat, professional, and full of fun ideas. He is great to work with and always quick to respond. On our wedding day he helped make announcements, rallied the crowd where they needed to go, and even had some awesome surprises in store for us! Anissa assisted working our wedding and was fabulous, too. Our dance floor was electric because of these two; it was honestly hard to take a break from dancing because all the songs they played rocked.

Best dj ever

They say a DJ can make or break your wedding and let me tell you, Corey absolutely MADE our wedding!! He is a true professional and takes the time to make sure all the little details are taken care of. His music during the dance kept people out there ALL night long and the makeshift slide show he added at the end of the night was so special to us! Our photographer captured all of the “formal” moments (and she was AMAZING), but it was so nice to get more of the “fun” pics from Corey after our wedding was over. We had so many people ask us who was our DJ and we will recommend Corey and Yo DJ for every wedding from here on out!

Highly Recommended DJ!!!!

Highly recommended! Corey DJ’d our wedding in June, and he was excellent! He provided music for the ceremony and the reception, and everything went perfectly.

From the beginning, Corey blew us away with his professionalism. We met with 3 or 4 DJ companies prior to meeting with Corey, and it was immediately apparent that this guy knows what he’s doing. He made sure it was about us, he made an effort to get to know us and provided ideas and recommendations to help ensure the day was perfect and memorable.
One example, we were nervous about reading our vows live and in person. Corey suggested we record our vows, in addition to a little message to our parents, and he incorporated those vows and messages into the first dance songs. He spliced the messages into the songs masterfully, and we are still getting comments from our guests about how much everyone loved those moments and how they were all in tears.

In general, our wedding planning was a bit stressful… but never once did we have to stress over the music or what we needed from the DJ. Day of the wedding, Corey was on time, set everything up quickly and he was on point every step of the way.

Amazing music and night

James was FANTASTIC to work with! Listened to our requests and mixed in many other great songs. He kept us on task on wedding day, which we desperately needed. Hands down the best DJ ever!

We recently got married on 9/10/2021 and let me tell you Corey at Yo DJ was amazing!!! We had a Hispanic wedding and right from the beginning we told Corey we wanted half Spanish music and half English music. HE did not disappoint!! Every single guest was on the dance floor regardless of what type of music we had. Corey was on top of everything; From the beginning of the day. getting us anything we needed to changing songs on the dance floor to whatever we wanted. They also took videos clips throughout the whole event. That was such a special touch to see a video clip of everything at the end of the night. We also had the Mirror photobooth. If you're thinking about it, Stop! JUST GET IT! It's amazing! Everyone loved it and now we have the pictures as memories for ever. Thank you Corey for making such a special night that we will never forget.

Worry Free

Corey was incredibly helpful leading up to and during our wedding. We DIY'd our wedding at a lake cabin over Labor Day Weekend and had a few things on our plate to manage. Mostly stressed about catering our own wedding, but that was a hole we dug ourselves. Corey made us feel confident the little things we didn't think about (order of speeches, getting people seated, starting procession, etc) were taken care of and would happen without us making it happen. His music selection was on point for the full 8 hours and our dance party continued even during the rain. Highly recommend this DJ and service.

Corey and James were our DJs and did a fantastic job! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day and that is thanks to them!!

Corey goes above and beyond what you ask for!! Everything went so smoothly from the ceremony to the end of the night after the wedding was over, he even gave two of our guests a ride to their hotel.

The dance floor was packed from the start to the end and everyone had the time of their lives! The photo booth was a huge hit and everyone loved it! Throughout everything, meetings and the wedding day, Corey pretty much planned our wedding. He coordinated with the venue and the photographer, and everything fell together so perfect! Could not have asked for a better wedding DJ!

Our wedding was probably the most fun day of our whole lives, thanks in large part to Yo DJ and James! After having to reschedule our wedding to a new date and having to switch to a new DJ, we were nervous leading up to the big day. But after connecting with James, we knew we were in good hands. And on our wedding day, he and his co-DJ completely made our day! The dance floor was full all night and nobody could stop dancing. The setup looked great, the music selection was absolutely perfect and they kept the evening moving at a nice pace, keeping us updated on what needed to happen next but never rushing us. We got so many compliments all night on what a great job James did. We wish we could relive the night over and over!

Amazing!

Kody was our DJ from Yo DJ entertainment and let me tell you, everyone was on the dance floor ALL NIGHT LONG. Kody and his team did a fantastic job reading the crowd and playing great music up until the end. Absolutely remarkable service for our wedding!

My husband and I got married on January 9th, 2021. We started our DJ search around April/May of 2020. YoDJ was one of the first on the list and all the reviews were OUTSTANDING! I was highly impressed and wanted to speak with Corey right away. Corey was extremely responsive through calling, texting, email and video chatting. Corey REALLY cared to understand what we wanted from our wedding experience beyond just music selection. He worked with us from the moment we were inquired through the wedding and even now as we are receiving all photos and videos back.

Corey and James worked tirelessly ensuring our day went as perfectly as possible. They played music for our ceremony, recorded the entire ceremony, and gave directions and information to the guests throughout the whole night. James was assisting with the mirror photo booth (SO AWESOME!), taking professional pictures and videos throughout the night. Corey helped facilitate the timeline of the reception, introduced our wedding party, took song requests and ALWAYS checked with my husband and I that songs requested were okay to play.

I would make the decision to go with YoDJ over and over again. I truly don't think we would have had the wedding we did without their incredible service. 100/10 would recommend them for your special day, party, or other celebrations!!

Amazing Wedding DJ

If you are looking for a DJ that will go above and beyond and are an outstanding entertainment for your event Yo DJ Entertainment is what you are looking for. My husband and I got married September 12, 2020. Getting married during this pandemic was stressful but Corey Young made the music and entertainment part so easy. He was quick with responses and so helpful and knowledgeable while planning the events for the evening. My husband and his mother did a special/unexpected dance and Corey mixed them their song and sent it to us ahead of time so they could practice. It turned out to be a big hit.
We also had James the day of the wedding to help out and he kept the best music coming for people to dance. So dance floor always had people on it and we were always having fun. There was always an exciting moment.
At the end of the night we were so touched to watch the slide show Corey put together of photos he had taken of the night of our family and friends along with parts of the different speeches during dinner. My husband and I were both crying on the dance floor because it meant so much to use to have the special moment. We have gotten may compliments from our family and friends about our wedding and a lot of it comes from Corey and James! Thank you for all that you did!

Corey was awesome!

Corey was awesome! He had great ideas to add personal touches throughout our wedding reception. He took a lot of stress out of the evening by ensuring everything was flowing smoothly as it should be, and was able to adjust plans on the fly, especially when the wedding party arrived a little late to the reception. The music played throughout the evening was spot on. Everyone enjoyed themselves and the dance floor was constantly full. The mirror booth was also a hit with our guests. It was fun for us to look back at the photos to see everyone's smiling faces, and digital copies of the photos made the perfect guest book for us. We have been to two weddings with Corey and YoDJ Entertainment in the past, and we are so happy we booked with them. We will continue to recommend them to all of our friends and family in the future. The most fun!

I requested to work with Nicole Young of Yo DJ for our wedding in September of 2019-- and she was AMAZING. Yo Dj Should be Yo’ DJ!

Corey and his team were the DJs for our Leap Day wedding, and I couldn’t recommend them more. The music was great, but it’s all the extra things that really stood out. The Mirror Booth was a hit (and initially, I wasn’t even thinking of any kind of photo/mirror booth). The music videos playing during the dancing were a fun addition that got people laughing & reminiscing. They took additional video & pictures throughout the reception and used that to create a slideshow at the end of the night, which was incredible. We got copies of everything. Plus, they just did a great job of keeping everything flowing throughout the evening—while also keeping the dance floor hoppin’. They were so easy to work with and very responsive. Our guests had nothing but good things to say about them. Do yourself a favor, book Yo Dj for your wedding.

Highly recommend!

When we were looking for a DJ for our wedding, we did ask around to see who people would suggest. Almost everyone we asked suggested that we get Yo DJ and said that we would not be disappointed. I decided to give it a go and contact them since everyone raved about Yo DJ. Let me tell you, I am now the one that is raving about Yo DJ.

Since our initial meeting with Corey, he was nothing but professional, accommodating, and wonderful to work with. He painted a picture of just what we were looking for and he had only known us for 10 minutes. This immediately put my crazy bride brain at ease.

Corey did not disappoint during this whole process. When I sent him 700 pictures for our slideshow to put together a week before our wedding, he was more than gracious. Corey was always quick to respond to my questions and was always reassuring that everything was going to be perfect. And it was!!!

Corey provided us with everything we could have dreamed of and more for our wedding day. The photo booth was AMAZING, such a fun addition to our reception and a huge hit with our guests.

Most of all, he kept that dance floor going all night!!! I never left the dance floor after our dinner and I don’t regret it one bit. There were several moments where I just took some time to look around at all of our guests and one thing I will never forget is that every one of our guests had a smile on their face and were having a good time. I know that was because of Corey and his team at Yo DJ. I will never suggest anyone else but Yo DJ for DJ services.

Best DJ around

If you ever need dj service's this is the place to book. For our wedding DJ Corey was amazing. Every step of the way from booking to planning to the wedding day was great. Worth the extra few bucks to know your getting top of the line. He even helped with my speech. All the little extras that he helped with along the way just go above and beyond. 5 out of 5 would recommend everyone to check him out.

Absolutely Amazing!

We had Corey for Yo Dj for our wedding and he was amazing! He made the day perfect. He provided great customer service leading up to the wedding, had sit down meetings with us, and always responded to my emails or messages. He kept people out on the dance floor all night, and I loved that he had a TV where you played the music video along with the song. He also put together a little slideshow at the end of the night with some recap pictures that was so cool. A few weeks after our wedding, Corey sent us a flash drive with almost 200 extra pictures and captured small video clips of all the important moments! We didn't have a videographer so it was absolutely amazing to get to watch those videos of our first dance, the speeches, our dances with our parents, and others. Corey went above and beyond our expectations and provided us with the best service I could have asked for! I would HIGHLY recommend Corey!

The best DJ

Honestly the best DJ in our area! Things were just perfect. The dance floor always had a crowd out there which is what we wanted. We also had the Mirror booth which was a hit. I would suggest moving away from dance floor however as I spent more time in there with guests per guest request which was annoying to my wife and I.

Professionalism to the max

We had Zarren and had a fantastic experience. He gave us the layout of how he runs things based on his past professional and personal experiences. One of the things we loved about Yo DJ is that they do not have any sort of banners or advertising plastered over their booth. You don’t need to worry about having any of that in your photos. Zarren was very friendly and was very upfront about being willing to help us out with anything we needed throughout the day. Need your glass refilled during dinner, he offered to get it filled for you. Definitely recommend Yo DJ and Zarren personally.

My daughters wedding was a complete success. Thanks in a BIG part to Yo Dj. Call me old but Corey was way more than a guy who "spun records'. Yes his setup with mirror booth, tv's, stage etc was super impressive but it was all the extra things he did. he was monitoring the sound for the wedding ceremony but to my surprise he totally took control of keeping the party moving when we got to the reception. I honestly didn't realize he was the GUY for all of that. i swear he observed my daughter took her last bite of food and got the speeches started....the first dances.. and then of course making sure the place rocked for the dance. also speaking of dances for the father daughter dance he made it happen for my daughter to give me and mom a message and also accommodated me sending my daughter a message during the father daughter video/dance. I sang and he made me sound better than i actually do. Corey and Yo Dj go WAY WAY beyond what was/is expected.

Awesome experience and worth every penny!

My husband Brad and I just got married in Oshkosh at Brighton Acres and Corey from YoDj was our DJ. We can not say enough about how accommodating and awesome he was! He brought multiple DJ's with him to avoid any mishaps and to take more requests. Our guests only reluctantly left the dance floor to pee or to get a drink and couldn't get back fast enough to keep dancing. Our friends and family kept saying how great the playlist was and that was all Corey combining our scattered list and verbalized requests. He made it flow and found a time for all the crazy requests we had! We would 100% recommend Yo DJ for your wedding!! Thanks again Corey!!!

Outstanding Experience

My wife and I highly recommend Corey Young from Yo DJ. He was the DJ at our wedding this summer. From the initial contact to our wedding day, Corey was extremely professional, personable and accommodating. He was very detail oriented and ensured our reception ran smoothly. His DJ booth setup at the reception fit the location and wedding theme perfectly. Corey was able to read the crowd during the dance and had the dance floor filled all night, playing songs that were our style if the dance floor emptied. Overall, we could not be more pleased with Corey at Yo Dj!

Corey Young, Yo DJ Entertainment, Amazing!

Corey Young, with Yo DJ Entertainment was by far the best person we could have ever hired for a DJ. Corey not only acted as a DJ but also as an event coordinator! He made sure the night ran smoothly and that I was happy with everything throughout the night. He was the first DJ we met with and after meeting him we knew he was the one. He catered to the crowds needs and played music that brought everyone to the dance floor. Corey was by far the best DJ we could have hired and we were so happy with his work! Corey made the day more perfect than we thought it could be!

Corey at Yo-DJ Entertainment was absolutely fantastic! He provided the music for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dance, and was the MC for the dinner/dance. He was incredibly personable and easy going, which made it easy to discuss our wedding ideas and prepare for the big day with him. His experience shows as he was very knowledgeable and prepared for our wedding day, which was immensely helpful for Brandon and I. He helped us create some personal touches to the reception/dance that really made the night more meaningful than it already was. We received so many compliments from family and friends about our DJ. Our wedding venue and photographers also said Corey’s preparedness for the day was the best they had seen and made the day go smoothly. I had a great experience with Corey from Yo-DJ and would highly recommend him to anyone who asks!

I'm Blown Away!!!

Corey and I met in Wisconsin at a Dj Convention and his amazing personality and intellect in the buisness is what got me to introduce myself to him. We became really good friends and kept in touch frequently and when it came time to Marry my Wife Whitney I had no other person in mind than Corey to Emcee and Dj it. When asked he was not only willing to drive 8 hours away to do it but he was Honored to. I was impressed with how much heart he put into everything. it wasn't just another "Gig" to him where he made money and went on with his life. He genuinely cared about our needs and wants and after telling him absolutely everything we wanted in a wedding and reception, he then recommended a list of "out of the box" ideas that we've never heard of and obviously decided those ideas were amazing. He could have stopped with what we wanted and made his job a little easier. But instead he added A TON more responsibility to his plate because he wanted nothing but the absolute perfect day for us. He stayed in contact with us via VideoChat almost everyday for a month up onto the day of the wedding answering every question we had. And making sure everything was going smoothly. When I proposed to my wife and we began to prepare for the wedding shortly after. It was an absolute nightmare and stressed us out to the max. But after that month talking to him he made us completely stress free ready to take on our wedding with strong heads. Wedding week came. He showed up a day prior and set up his equipment and made sure everything was perfect and then joined us for the rehearsal, we went over some more details in person and then he over heard me talking to my wife Whitney about wondering if our photographer did videos of anything during the wedding like, ceremony, speeches, first dance, and everything else important and he stepped in and said: "don't worry about it, I got you covered. Like I said before if there is anything you guys are needing I'll make it happen." We were speechless. Although we live in a small town we have never heard or seen anyone with the customer service of this guy. We Shook hands and went our seperate ways for the night and sure enough he was at the wedding the next day with multiple cameras to capture and record everything we asked. And afterwards when we got to the reception he met us at the doors when we walked in to go over our grand introductions, again even though we had gone over this multiple times he still wanted to make sure everything was perfect. His personality while Emceeing throughout the night is definitely a KeyPoint to how he has become so successful in what he does. He's brilliant with words and knows how to make people laugh, and get all emotional at the same time. He was there recording our speeches, mother/groom, father/daughter, and first dances. He was on top of his game for sure. The night ended perfectly. The next morning him and his assistant joined us for breakfast to see us off for the honeymoon and wished us luck and congratulated us one more time. We've never been more impressed with a company in our lives. I'm sorry my story was long but I wanted to make sure I got most of the details in. If you're looking for more than just a "Dj" for your big day. Someone who Puts 100% soul into their work. Go with Corey. #Y.O.G.M.O You Only Get Married Once. Make it count!

The best DJ I could ask for.

We had Corey as our DJ and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ. He took care of us from day one and made sure I didn’t have anything to worry about regarding music. He helped with ideas for grand marches, clinking glasses substitute and speeches. He frequently checked on us during the night and made sure the speeches were prepared. He even got us drinks and desserts at the head table to take care of us. He gives you the power to cut a song just by making the signal to him. He even takes pictures during the dance of your guests and you get them a few days later. My wedding party and guests all loved him!

No Worries!

I strongly recommend Corey from Yo DJ! We have received so many compliments on the music they were playing. The special messages embedded in the songs for our first dance and the mother/son and father/daughter dances were complete show stoppers. We had everyone in awe. We chose Yo DJ almost immediately after our first meeting. Corey was so organized and had contingency plans on top of contingency plans. He gave us ideas we never even thought were possible. He definitely went above and beyond, when my fiance now wife wanted a drink the reception bar couldn't make he went to the front bar and made sure she had what she wanted. Who does that?! It just goes to show you how dedicated he was to us and our special day. From the very beginning he did not want us to worry about anything once we got to the reception. Even though we knew it was going to happen the night of we were completely surprised by his slide show of photos that evening. Our guests have had nothing but great things to say about all of it. If anyone asks about DJ services the only answer is Yo DJ Entertainment!

We worked with Matt for our wedding and he could not have been more professional and helpful. The communication leading up to the wedding was astounding. He wanted to make sure he knew every necessary detail. Things that you would not think to ask with everything going on. He made sure that the night was about us and kept us on a good schedule all night. That is not easy to do with how fast the night goes. Best decision you'll make

Choosing Zarren from Yo Dj for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. Obviously the right Dj is a critical component to any successful event. Zaren and his crew did an incredible job. During the planning process he was open to all our ideas but if he thought it was the wrong call, like playing music through the venue's speakers he'll tell you (I found that out to be 100% accurate). We received so many complements on the music that was played and what a great job Zarren did. A few people even said "This is the first wedding I've ever been to that I wanted to stay all the way to the end". If I had to do it all over I wouldn't hesitate to hire Zarren again.

Hands Down The Best!

Yo DJ did the sound for our outdoor ceremony as well as the music during our reception. Corey and Zarren were our DJs and they were beyond great, easy to work with and read the crowd to keep people dancing all night! They took care of the head table during dinner, offering to refill our glasses and get us anything we needed. They also took photos all night and sent them to us afterward so we have tons of photos of our guests even after the photographer left. But our favorite thing that they did was the surprise they gave us near the end of the night, it had us both crying happy tears!

Corey had us feeling at ease right from the initial interview with him. We talked to other DJ services that were less expensive but none of them made us feel as comfortable with the whole process as he did.

Phenomenal!

My husband and I worked with Corey at Yo DJ for our July wedding. We could not have been more satisfied. They supplied the audio (microphones)/music for our ceremony, reception (grand march, dinner, reception) and up lighting. The other options we had to add on were endless. From the first meeting with Corey, we knew he was who we wanted to work with. He was professional, organized, and just made you feel at ease. He really emphasized that it was our day and that he would be there to make sure everything went smooth. He didn't disappoint. The lines of communication were always open leading up to the wedding. The day of was absolute perfection! He played everything that we asked and used those selections to branch off of as well as gaged the guests reception to the music being played. There was never a time when there was no one on the dance floor. He wouldn't allow that! Everyone had such an amazing time and heard nothing but good things from our guests throughout the night including "BEST DJ EVER!"

We could not be happier with our experience with Yo DJ. Booking Zarren was one of the best decisions we made! He went above and beyond our expectations!! When you book with them you get way more than a DJ! Right from the start, Zarren was very helpful, quick to answer questions, and gave great suggestions on how to plan our day. He knew exactly how we wanted our day to flow, and coordinated where people needed to be when so we didn't have to worry about anything! The music was perfect from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to dinner, to dancing! And the music kept people on the dance floor all night long! He also really doubled as another photographer, taking hundreds of photos throughout the day/night. The surprise video at the end of the night made for the perfect ending and was so fun to watch!! Hiring Zarren from Yo Dj was easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Before we met with him, I was worried about finding someone who would make sure everything went smoothly in addition to playing good music. He quickly made those fears disappear after explaining his services, tips and tricks and hours available. Zarren was with us all day and delivered everything he promised and more! Not only did he MC our entire day and make sure our guests knew what was going on and where important items were like our guest bench to sign, he addressed the "little" things we didn't think about that made a huge difference! From taping our ceremony and speeches, taking pictures all day and introducing our best man and maid of honor with personalized stories, he made our day so personal. To top it off, at the end of the night he surprised us by playing our wedding song again, but this time he incorporated clips from our vows and all the speeches! It was the icing on the cake to a perfect day. Anything I had questions on or wanted to do, Zarren made sure it was answered or got done. We received a ton of compliments from our guests on how much they loved Zarren and all the things he did throughout the day. If you are looking for a Dj for your wedding, trust me, meet with Yo Dj!

I think Travis did a wonderful job at our wedding! He was bossy enough to keep everything on track, but accommodating enough to make our wedding feel like us and not some cookie cutter routine. Also, I loved that there was no advertising banner, which I have seen at other weddings. Travis said that was tacky and I wholeheartedly agree.

James at Yo DJ Entertainment was so fun to work with! He would easily get excited about the things that I got excited about (Like my TARDIS that I had standing in front of the reception doors!). Any changes I needed he made them promptly and without fuss. So laid back and easy to get along with. He was very timely with my music selections, and flexible with the change in music for different parts of the ceremony and reception! Corey was SO EASY to work with. He listened to what we wanted, and was not at all put off by our prediction that our guests were not dancers. He kept in touch, answered all of my questions within 24 hours, and was able to do video chat when I didn't feel like driving 45 mins for a meeting. He traveled about 3 hours out to our venue.
He provided ceremony music and microphones in addition to the DJ services.
Corey showed up early, and the only direction I gave him was "Pick a corner". He handled all of the rest. He was great with out guests, took requests, and seemed to have a good time. I have many photos of Corey smiling in the background while the kids dance.
You won't be disappointed!

As the father of the bride, her wedding was very important to me. I've gone to a lot of weddings in my life but never, absolutely never have I seen a DJ put together an event like Yo Dj did! The way they included things captured from earlier at dinner into a dance later was simply amazing! Everything they did that night was top notch! Yo Dj kept the guests engaged like I've never seen before. Nobody wanted the night to end and Yo Dj had a lot to do with that. Hiring Yo DJ was one of the best things that we did for our wedding reception! Corey Young was amazing and kept the night flowing and fun for all that were involved! He kept guests of all ages involved in the reception - we received rave reviews from everyone attending on how much fun they had!

Throughout the process leading up to the wedding, Corey was so easy to work with and communicate on the things that were important to us. He provided us with guidance/suggestions as we requested them - his experience and excitement were top notch! The mirror photo booth was worth the cost - we had people of all ages lined up all night to have fun with the emojis, props and other guests! The outcome were pictures that we would not otherwise have from the day and captured the fun & excitement!

At the end of the night, Corey played our first dance song (Sister Hazel - This Kind of Love) and he had inserted small tidbits of the various speeches and pieces of the ceremony from throughout the day. It was an unexpected touch that left us in awe!

Corey did an amazing job with our wedding. After meeting with him I had no doubt that he would do a great job. I had no worries that everything would run smoothly on our wedding day in his hands and it did. We got a lot of compliments from family and friends along with memories that will last a lifetime.

Yo DJ was one of the best investments we made when planning our wedding. We worked with Corey who went above and beyond to make sure our special day was perfect. The pre-planning before the wedding was extremely helpful as we discussed the day of timeline, our likes/dislikes, must have songs, speeches, the overall vibe we wanted and even editing of particular songs (father daughter/mother son dance). The dance floor was PACKED all night long as Corey pumped up the crowd and transitioned from song to song flawlessly. I had several friends (future brides) ask me for his information as he clearly made the night unforgettable! I cannot stress enough how crucial Corey was to making our night spectacular; thanks Corey!

We absolutely LOVED working with Corey from Yo DJ! He made the planning process for the reception a breeze. We cannot thank Corey enough for all that he did! The night ran so smoothly and it was because of him! All of our guests commented to us so many times how great our DJ was and loved all of the little details. Also at the end of the night, Corey put together a video of a bunch of pictures that he took throughout the dance. Once again, so many guests said how special that was to have. We would recommend Corey to any of our friends! Again, truly grateful to have him a part of our day! It was perfect!

Hunter and Bryce from Yo DJ were the DJs at our wedding last week and they were both SHOW STOPPERS. Not only were they incredibly mature and professional, but they did an outstanding job with music and entertainment ALL night. The dance floor did not clear once and they were SO accommodating with all of our requests, including Karaoke which was no small feat. I cannot rave enough about how happy we are with our choice, they helped make our day so special and perfect and at a very reasonable cost. We would hire them again in a heart beat, thank you Hunter and Bryce!

Corey from YoDJ (and his team) was the BEST DJ we could have ever hoped for. He helped us make our wedding personal and meaningful through music. Our guests were on the dance floor all night! Corey has amazing ideas to be able to personalize the first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances and was incredibly easy to work with, responsive, and a wonderful guy. We truly couldn't have asked for a better DJ and knew we were well taken care of. He was very flexible when the schedule began to ebb and flow and took great care in making sure to 'read the room'. Couldn't recommend this vendor more!

Finding a good DJ for our wedding was one of our top priorities as we started piecing everything together, and we definitely got it right!

Corey did a phenomenal job at our wedding. We’ve talked about it several times since then - he was everything we expected and more! Our guests loved the music and the videos. We even got a wedding card AFTER the reception that said "The DJ was awesome!" Someone during the event commented that they've never seen so many guys on the dance floor!

We loved his organization, handling of events and speeches, audio work during the ceremony, and of course - the music and videos. Thank you so much for helping to make our wedding everything we planned for!
