We met the Yings when they photographed another friend’s wedding and when we set our date, they were the first vendor we booked. We already knew how talented they were based on their portfolio and their amazing eye for capturing the moments of the day. What we didn’t fully appreciate was how much fun we would have and how much they would embrace our personalities in our photos, really making them about us. Having a husband and wife team to photograph your special day is amazing but even better when it’s the Yings! -

For our wedding day, Rachel and Xiwei went above and beyond to make it such an incredible time. We had asked them to get a lot of candid photos of guests and they knew exactly what we wanted! We got our photos back and they were beautiful! So many amazing photos of us and our family and friends. We also received so many compliments from our guests in the photographers because in some ways they added to the fun. Highly recommend to go with them for your big day! -

Magical wedding

Ying Photography is the best!
We chose Ying Photography after seeing so many of their beautiful photos. We loved the brightness and colors of their photos. We met with Rachel and Xiwei during the selection process and felt such a quick and warm connection. We did an engagement session and had such a great time, we all couldn’t stop laughing.
Xiwei came to our rehearsal and walked us through some key photos they would be taking.
On the day of our wedding, they arrived early and ready to go. We are so grateful we had photographers there the entire day as we were able to capture all of the day’s moments. Rachel was so helpful to me, even grabbing me a drink when I needed it!
Our guests have commented about what a great team they are and we have to agree! We are so happy with our choice and can’t wait to display our photos! -

There are not enough words to describe how amazing Ying Photography is. The attention to detail they put into their work will leave you speechless, but I want to touch upon them as people first. They are the sweetest couple you will ever meet. Rachel stayed with me and went above and beyond outside of her core role to make sure I was okay. She even fixed my train as I was walking out with my dad. Her husband stayed with the guys, and they had a blast; my husband now and forever poses with his hands in his pockets, lol. They genuinely care about your well-being, reminding us to eat and drink. Now back to their work—one word: AMAZING. They give you shots straight out of an editorial magazineand their creativity will give you shots you would have never thought of. I don't find myself photogenic, but they made me feel beautiful. Bill and Rachel are magical with their photo-taking skills. I'm not what I would call a pretty person, but they made even I look like a fairytale prince in their photos. Michael and I were utterly blown away by the talent of Ying Photography. On the day of our wedding, there were storms rolling in behind our ceremony and they captured the most beautiful photos of the sky behind us. They worked so well with such a large family and made the experience something we will never forget. I get hives when I'm anxious and they took the time to go through every single photo and remove the hives from my neck and made it seem as if it never happened. Both of our families, as well as friends, were blown away by the dedication and hard work, and are so happy we had them for our wedding day! -

Ying’s Are THE Choice For Photography
As soon as we met Bill and Rachel, we knew 100% without doubt that we had chosen the best photographers. They both have such outgoing personalities, they will keep you smiling even when you are super stressed, and they have ALL of the connections! Through the Ying’s we were also able to connect with our videographer, our day of coordinator, many different hair and make up stylists, and any other vendor you could possibly need.
When we received our engagement shoot photos back from the Ying’s, we were floored. We couldn’t wait for our wedding day photos to see all of the precious moments we knew we would have, but that would go by so quickly.
On our wedding day Bill and Rachel were there to help sort out any glitches or concerns we had, to help make sure everything flowed just right, and to keep us laughing all day long.
Our wedding day photos were literally all of our dreams come true! Any of the little things that didn’t go as planned or weren’t “just right”, Bill and Rachel worked around and made sure that we still got every emotion, smile, and laugh from our entire day captured to look back on forever. Best decision we made!
Rachel and Xiwei are the best and we are so glad we decided to choose them as our photographers! They have a very unique shooting style that we really loved. This really helped us get some awesome shots despite being camera-shy and not very photogenic. They shot our engagement photos, came out to our rehearsal to scope out good shots for the big day, and stayed for the entirety of our almost 15 hour wedding day! They are very experienced in the field, which really came in handy. They had cute umbrellas handy when it was raining during our first look. They even let us borrow some of their own lighting equipment when the ones for our photobooth failed. Our family and friends loved the photos, and some have already asked me for their contact information. So hurry, before they (undoubtedly) get booked out! -

Bill and Rachel are hands down amazing. They were super flexible. I travel quite a bit for work. They were always willing to work around my schedule for our meetings. They went above an beyond coming out to rehearsal to check out the entire grounds for the most perfect pictures. Even the weather for our engagement pictures wasnt very good and they turned out even better than I could have imagined. When planning our wedding, one of the most important things to us was to find a great, affordable photographer. We looked online and searched for photographers in the Sarasota area. We came across several and none of their work stood out to us like Ying Photography. We had a zoom meeting with them and instantly knew we wanted to book them. They were so fun, relaxed, helpful, and accommodating. Through out the year of wedding planning we would go to them for questions and insight and they were always quick to respond. They even helped me find my make up artist.
I highly recommend them. They were amazing. Everyone from our wedding complemented them. Not only are our photos FANTASTIC, but they were part of the wedding itself. Rachel and Xiwei felt like a part of our family after the fact. I will FOREVER remember them. They are just honestly the best. If you are lucky enough to be able to book them, DO IT! -

The BEST wedding photographers!
We first heard of Ying Photography by admiring the wedding photos of my two close friends. I reached out to them and asked for their information. I was pleased to find they were a husband and wife team so you get TWO amazing photographers. Not only are they extremely talented but also very personable and have a wonderful working relationship. We were able to have all of the different photos done at once having both of them there. They do wonderful drone shots as well which We hope to utilize someday in the future . The photos came out gorgeous and we are so appreciative! We loved them so much that my friends and I are planning one more shoot together all in our wedding gowns ! The Yings are absolutely phenomenal and, you will not be disappointed! Since I originally reached out to them in 2019 for our “2020” wedding I immediately adored them. We did our engagement photos November 2019 and then I knew we picked the best photographers! My husband and I are so shy and within moments of being with them they had us laughing and having so much fun- and captured us and our goofy personality so perfectly. Come March 2020 we had to reschedule due to covid and they were so easy to work with during that stressful period. Finally we had what ended up being more of a vow renewal and we looked forward to getting to work with the Yings again. The wedding day my anxiety was through the roof until the Yings walked through the door and immediately felt like everything was going to be okay due to the relationship was able to build with them. By the wedding day they felt more like a friend than a vendor. They are both extremely talented photographers with such a wonderful personality that you will not be disappointed by the service you receive and the photos you get back. If you’re nervous to hire them- do yourself and spouse a favor and just do it! -

We were in a bind after avoiding a would-be disaster of a photographer for our March wedding. I had posted asking for recommendations on a local wedding page for a new one and Ying Photography was one of the first to reach out. From day one they were extremely communicative, organized, professional, and really made us feel confident we had made the right decision after having so many issues with other vendors. Not only are they great in business but their product is FANTASTIC. We had sneak peeks the NIGHT OF the wedding and we were floored at the photos. Over time, We have been given even more sneak peeks of our gallery and it has been better and better each time (jaw drops and all). You can tell just by looking at their work that their hearts really go into every shot. I would highly recommend Ying Photography for any event/photo need! -

Best Photographers Ever, PERIOD!
We are absolutely in love with Ying Photography. Rachel and Xiwei were amazing to work with and our sample photos look STUNNING. They both went out of their way to make us feel special and comfortable. Not only did they meet with us in person to go over what we wanted and expected, they constantly kept in touch with us throughout the entire process. Also having two photographers over one is a MUST because Rachel was able to stay with me (the bride), while Xiwei was able to be with the guys. It made everything more efficient and precise, especially since we both have large families. All of our wedding guests were so in awe of them, especially when Xiwei brought out the drone for photos by the lake. Amazing experience!
It’s crazy looking back on our wedding a week later and hearing the two things our friends and family talk about after was the food and photographers! By then end of the day the yings almost felt like family ❤️ They were so professional and efficient with our timeline the entire day and pros at wrangling the crazy groomsmen up to stay on task. Xiwei and Rachel have an amazing talent when it comes to photography and they are so easy and fun to work with! Our package included engagement photos which I HIGHLY recommend. Having a photo session done with them prior to your wedding is a great way to break the ice. My husband and I have never had photos done professionally and are not “naturals” when it comes to being in front of the camera. We learned a lot and had a lot of fun during the engagement pics so come wedding day, we felt even more comfortable and confident with the Yings doing our photos. They even came to our rehearsal the day before our wedding and got pics! It was really important to me that for our wedding, we had professional wedding photographers and Xiwei and Rachel not only met but exceeded all of our expectations. They have super duper fast turnaround times with pics too. We got our engagement pics back in I think 3 days and then our rehearsal & wedding pics back in less than 2 weeks! -

We were in a bind with only 6 weeks to prepare for our wedding. Thankfully Ying photography was available. Xiwei and Rachel are a great husband and wife photography team! They were always on time for all the engagements and very easy going during the photo sessions and made us feel at ease. They were very professional, down to earth and accommodating. I love that they try different out of the box poses. They were willing to try some new ideas and photos I wanted and brought in their own expert advise and eye! They were super nice to all our vendors and guests and I would get married again just to have pictures done with this great couple! Also they provided some sneak peek pictures right away and then were on time with all our pictures as promised. They really captured us and our wedding, we love the pictures and I have printed a ton of our engagement and wedding photos as photos and on different surfaces and they have come out great! Listen up y’all, cause this is it. Wedding photography does not get better than the Yings. Xiwei and Rachel are extremely talented, dedicated, and true visionaries. They attend rehearsal and meet everyone, they come up with the most amazing ideas for your photos (think smoke and lights and awesomeness), they listen to what you like and what you don’t like, they offer all day coverage and they literally mean ALL DAY. They give you at least 3 photos on the same day as your wedding, and they’re so fast with the rest. There are no licensing issues to print your photos, and they provide you with a comprehensive online gallery and a custom thumb drive. And, if this did not completely convince you, they’re a delight to work with. They make you feel at ease, they go with the flow, they’re funny and will go the extra mile to make you feel good and confident. If you’re looking for the the perfect wedding photographers, look no further cause you found them. Hands down the best decision we made for our wedding! -

Rachel & Xiwei were just phenomenal. They care about their work & love what they do. They’re quick to respond & are accommodating. They did our engagement shoot, wedding rehearsal & day. They came out early to the locations so they could scope out the vicinity for poses & background. They were with us from 9AM until 1AM on our wedding day & even gave us a few sneak peeks already a little after the reception (1AM)! We received a customized flash drive in a cute little box in the mail two weeks after the wedding with all our pictures. Overall, we are very satisfied with them! -

Ying photography went above and beyond what my husband and I were expecting. They came to the rehearsal Friday evening to get a feel for the space and take photos that all turned out amazing! The day of the wedding was even better. When they tell you that they will start whenever and take pictures of everything you want they are not exaggerating. They are so naturally creative, that they got photos we didn't even think of asking them to take. They are highly professional and prepared for every situation that we ran into. They did not stand there waiting for us to ask them to take pictures of things but instead took the initiative to find all of the creative shots that ended up being our favorites. When we did stand for a posed photo, they made sure that every detail was perfect. They did not just snap a photo and move on, but adjusted lighting, clothing, and positioning as needed. At the end, we received our photos in a timely manner and they turned out AMAZING! Seriously. What they have on their portfolio is an excellent representation of the product they provide. So if you still haven't found a photographer, you should highly consider this couple! -

They worked with us leading up to the wedding day, responded immediately to every question, were very dedicated and even came to the rehearsal! They were with us our entire wedding day- almost 12 hours! I cannot express how much of an amazing job they did! They were so easy to work with and definitely catered to my preferences and by the end felt like family! The pictures they captured of the day were so beautiful and really captured the feel of the day. For the formal photos they really did an amazing job of organizing everyone (we had a large wedding party and family) and keeping it going smoothly while still capturing phenomenal photos, and kept it all on time! They did such a good job I recommended them to friends and family for their upcoming wedding who are now using them!

Years from now no one will remember the food, the songs the DJ played, or the little trinkets you sent home with them, but the photos you have will let people who weren’t there feel like they were and allow your children to share in your day. Lauren Sent on 12/31/2017These two are fun creative and excellent at what they do. You get 2 for the price of 1. Rachel stays with the girls all day for as long as you want and Xiwei with the guys. If you do brunch or really anything they are there with you. They are amazing!!!

Amanda Sent on 12/05/2017Amazing. You couldn't ask for a better photographer! They took the time to get to know us and the pictures reflected it all. Our photos were imaginative, creative, romantic, gorgeous and so much fun! This is coming from two very un-photogenic people. :) The lighting was perfect! Our candids were sensational! They even set up a mini photo booth and took pictures of all the wedding guests. I got photos of everyone! The venue was huge and they managed to capture photos in every single spot we wanted and even a few we didn't think about. Delivery of the photos was the fastest I've ever had. I had time to include photos with my thank you notes of our guests making it all that more special. They made our special day even more special by being a part of it and we can't thank them enough.

The pictures we got are absolutely stunning! All of our friends and family are surprised at how professional and beautiful the pictures came out. Jara Sent on 11/30/2017We booked Ying Photography for our wedding and just completed our engagement photo this past weekend (11/26) and just two hours after we got home, we had an official 'sneak peak' (3 pictures that were STUNNING)-which made us ready to see the rest! By Tuesday evening (11/28) we already had our access code and a full set of 50+ pictures to completely fall in love with. Xiwei and Rachel truly put you at ease while taking pictures so that you truly get the best, most candid moments. It's more like you have two good friends, that are REALLY talented photographers, and they just happen to be taking your picture for you. The quality of each picture is amazing and we are so thrilled with our choice to book them for our wedding, it was definitely our easiest decision when wedding planning. -
