My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful experience for our wedding day! From the moment we first visited Yesterday Spaces, we knew it was the perfect place for us. The staff was incredibly professional, warm, and attentive and made sure that every detail was taken care of. You can tell they love what they do. They also have excellent preferred vendors who have experience at the venue, and together they all helped the us in the planning process, which was as seamless as we could have hoped for!
The venue itself is absolutely stunning — the scenic mountain views at the top of the hill provided the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony, and the barn was absolutely perfect for our reception, a perfect blend of elegance and rustic charm. There were a lot of beautiful places around the property to take photos, including a romantic tree swing, the long tree-covered walk from the hilltop to the barn, and many other spots.
Arik and the whole team were exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure that everything ran smoothly, and their attention to detail was unmatched. Our guests kept telling us how beautiful and elegant the venue was, and we truly felt like we were in a dream the whole day.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, rustic charm, and a fantastic team, then definitely add Yesterday Spaces to your list. It was everything we could have hoped for and more! -

The best decision of our wedding day (other than picking each other to marry) was picking this venue. This venue went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our wedding day perfect! Along every step of the way, they did everything to help make our wedding day perfect-their expertise was invaluable and helped make our day an absolute dream come true. They absolutely exceeded any expectations of a wedding venue and I cannot recommend it enough! As just one example, when our wedding coordinator got sick the day before our wedding, Arik stepped in and ran our rehearsal. Arik went above and beyond to make sure our day ran smoothly. All of this assistance is on top of the venue being stunningly beautiful. We are still hearing about how beautiful our wedding was 6 months later! Yesterday Spaces is a family-owned business and you can tell by how much they care about their couples. Overall, Yesterday Spaces is a dream venue and I cannot recommend it enough! -

I would give Yesterday Spaces a 100/5 star rating if I could.
My experience with Yesterday Spaces - as a bride planning her own 60+ guest wedding in 7 months - was absolutely exceptional. If you are looking for a gorgeous venue that is professional yet personal and heartfelt, flexible, communicative, and VERY well-versed in the orchestration of weddings I would 100% recommend Arik and his team at Yesterday Spaces.
First, the property is incredibly beautiful. If you're looking for a naturally rustic and picturesque venue near Asheville this is a perfect option. When you book with Yesterday Spaces, you get the use of the entire venue property which includes multiple ceremony space options as well as unique features for a reception. I was also blown away by how much the price of the venue includes. There's a whole room FULL of decorations that you can use (or totally not use!) free of charge. Matching mason jars and vases, wooden signs, cake stands, wooden centerpiece cutouts, and so much more. We used a lot of these decorations for our reception and it looked so good. These decorations would have cost us a fortune to gather on our own. The additional features offered by the venue, all explained in detail during our first tour, were the initial selling point. There is no venue within 100 miles that offers so much for such a great price.
Trust me, I've looked.
My experience planning the wedding was made easier by the staff at Yesterday Spaces. They are accommodating and flexible, not at all uptight about adjustments to ceremony or reception details. This attitude and confidence the staff displayed was extremely reassuring for me and my (at the time) fiance. We had never planned a wedding before and so sometimes didn't always know what to expect or anticipate. Working closely with Arik during an initial planning meeting and then our final planning meeting (all included in booking the venue, btw) was all we needed to feel excited and relaxed about our wedding day.
Yesterday Spaces brought our vision of love to life. I can so clearly remember Arik (the owner) standing high up on a ladder the day before the wedding, helping me to hang white drapes from the ceiling that would frame the dance floor. He was genuinely excited to see what it would look like because he hadn't seen it done before. I remember on the day of the wedding one of the staff members peeked into the house where my bridesmaids and I were staying to give us cute matching umbrellas so we stayed dry on the walk over to the ceremony barn. So many moments like this.
I didn't know to ask for the attention to detail and the professional, kind & genuine assistance Arik and his team gave us but we received it anyway. That's honestly just what you get with Yesterday Spaces and I am so grateful to have gotten married there. It was the best day of my entire life and I'll never forget it.

Yesterday spaces is absolutely phenomenal. I can not sing higher praises about them. Somehow the weather gods caused it to rain 6 minutes before the ceremony started outside. The staff and crew were able to hand out umbrellas to the guests and put up pop-tents to the side so that our guests could quickly get under them. It is so surreal looking back on how they accomplished that, (what looked like) so effortlessly.
You can also tell that Arik is really passionate about making your wedding really fit the vibe of the couple. He really tailored to what we envisioned for our day, and gave us helpful advice along the way. We ended the day by a unique tractor exit driven by Arik himself!
This was our dream wedding and I could not recommend a place for a wedding more! -

My daughter's wedding was pure magic, due in large part to the beauty of the space and all that Arik and family did to make everything just right! They are so organized and competent that it took much of the stress out of planning this wedding! Arik is also so incredibly friendly that it makes for a very pleasant environment as well! There is nothing lacking at this venue: absolutely beautiful outside environment and interior spaces, full kitchens and bars, lots of resources for decor etc! We are sooooo grateful we made this choice! Thanks Arik!! -

We loved having our wedding at Yesterday Spaces! They were so flexible as we tried to decide whether or not to have an outdoor ceremony in March (we ended up indoors!) and helped us through the whole process . Their vendor list is great (esp since we were planning from the West Coast!) and all of our guests had a great time. I would recommend this venue to both locals and out of state folks - it was truly a pleasure to work with Arik! -

My husband and I were married at Yesterday Spaces this past fall and it was a dream! We are so grateful to have found this wonderful venue for our wedding. It was the perfect setting for our woodsy, romantic ceremony. The tree-lined path was my favorite spot on the entire property! We had our ceremony outside with a beautiful view of the mountains, which was absolute perfection. Our reception was held in the big wooden hall that was set up so beautifully. Our guests absolutely loved this venue! We received so many compliments saying it was one of the best wedding venues they've been to.
I am so thankful for Arik, the venue manager, who was extremely accommodating and so kind to us, our familiars and all of our vendors. The staff at Yesterday Spaces are professional and helpful. I didn't have to worry about a thing on my wedding day because they had it covered. I really appreciated Arik's willingness to work with me and my planner since I was planning my wedding from out of town. He always made time to talk with us, answer our questions and help provide solutions to make our vision come to life. -

We were married at Yesterday Spaces on October 12th, 2018 and it was my favorite day ever! Arik and Renee were so incredibly accommodating and I would 100% choose YS again. We live in Raleigh and Arik made time for us every time we visited Asheville to help plan our day and make sure everything was how we envisioned it. Renee made sure that our actual wedding day went flawlessly. She also does incredible chalkboard art!! Our guests are still raving about the beautiful ceremony site, reception area and of course - the donkeys! Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving us the day of our dreams!! -

We are having our wedding there next August, and Dr. Greer has been so great in helping us plan and get excited about our day. There are two houses on the farm that you can rent, and we are so excited to have them both for our wedding party to stay in. The place has the best wedding walk I have ever seen, and it opens out to this beautiful field where you have your ceremony under a huge oak tree. The best part is that if by chance it rains there is an old dairy barn that you can have the wedding in instead!
The place and the people have been so great, and I cannot wait until our wedding there! -

I knew I was going to love Yesterday Spaces before I ever went there and when my mom and I finally arrived we were not disappointed. The grounds were beautiful and Mike (the owner) was wonderful!! He personally walked us over the entire grounds and facilities...there are 2 houses that you can actually stay in for the entire time you're there for your wedding not to mention there are live animals and a tractor for the guests to ride to the mountain view ceremony site in!! It was all these things plus the well appointed but rustic looking reception area that has full men's and women's restrooms, state of the art catering kitchen, and indoor outdoor speaker system that hooks into a stereo system that a DJ, band, or your phone can hook into to play and control music. I not only fell in love with the venue but, the family that owns and runs it! I can't wait to have my wedding at Yesterday Spaces!! -

There are no words to describe it's beauty it is a must see Venue and I have no doubt that you will fall in love with it and the owner's as much as I did! -

Dream venue!
When my husband and I first toured this venue, we fell in love with it at first sight (even in December when it was cold and the trees were bare).
We got married May 2022 and it was an absolute dream. We had our ceremony outside with the mountain view and our reception in the barn. Our wedding day was planned and set up to perfection. Communication could have been a little better leading up to our wedding, but everything worked out perfectly. Everyone loved the trees leading into the ceremony space and the front porch outside of the reception hall with the rocking chairs. It was just the best place to get married in Asheville and incredibly magical!!!! -

We loved having our wedding at Yesterday Spaces. The farm and event spaces are beautiful! We loved that they provided chairs, tables, china and flatware with the price. this was a huge savings to us. There are also a number of items including signage available for use too. Arik is a pleasure to work with. He is very kind and patient. Our wedding turned out to be everything we dreamed of and we couldn't be happier. Highly recommend this venue. Go see it because the website does not do it justice!! -

The venue is absolutely beautiful, to bad it isn't managed as it should be. SO MANY CONTRACTS! READ THEM VERY CAREFULLY,!!! Every vendor involved has a contract. Arik and his sister booked a huge rehearsal on the day of my daughter's wedding. They were in and out of the reception hall. I had to get irritated with Arik to let us decorate the night before. He wanted us to decorate everything the day of , and there are no showers on the site! The groom's quarters are awful for a summer wedding. The underneath of the reception hall. No air conditioning, a bathroom and some tables and chairs. We did not go with the alcohol package, so some of us had coolers in our trucks for later, THEY TOOK THE COOLERS OUT OF OUR TRUCKS WITHOUT ASKING! they told us no alcohol on the premises and we could have the coolers back when we left! Going in our personal vehicles without permission made us furious. Arik asks questions of your vendors like he's the wedding coordinator. I had my coordinator back out because of him and the contract. My sister decorated the cake and cupcakes on site because of the heat. Arik came in and told her that the kitchen was sterile and for caterers only, but since she had started, he'd let her stay. The wedding started almost 30 min late because Arik didn't think the ceremony seats were full enough,ball the while we say in a van on the reception hall drive. We asked his sister, Rachel I believe is her name, several times to just go ahead and take us down, and she would only say Arik hasn't called me yet. My daughter, the bride, was asking to start her wedding! On time! For $3000.00 plus, you would think that they would take out the trash 😠, NO! Before I could leave, I had to sweep and mop the kitchen, plus take out all the trash! A guy that was helping break down said" here is the mop and bucket, leave it like you found it. Reluctantly, I did it. Sanitized my butt! I swept silverware and food from under the prep tables! We felt like THEY were running out day and her wedding, not us. The experience left my daughter and son in law very upset after the wedding. Some people left early because of the cooler issue, some because even though the air conditioner in the reception hall was on 65 degrees, it was crazy hot? This is an amazing venue and so very beautiful! If they don't get someone to manage it, before long,I feel many brides will be as disappointed and frustrated as my daughter. I would never recommend them unless the get new management!
