Norlene was a pleasure to work with and from reading previous reviews I knew she would be! She has an eye for design and great recommendations- everything was beautiful and “worked” because of her. She is very flexible and will provide you with whatever you want letting you know from her experience what works best (e.g. led candles may work better than regular because wind/ that tropical flower is beautiful but stains- here are similar options that don’t). We had a beach ceremony and then were legally married in town - she drove us the day we went in town - stayed connected with us after the marriage was performed and she was paid and made sure we received our translated documents before we left for home - paying extra for a rush and not passing that additional cost on to us. Her quote was reasonable and only changed when I made changes. Very happy :)

We have planned our wedding since the summer of 2016 on St. Martin island in Caribbean, and our wedding date was planned for the date of 9/9/2017. Unfortunately, our 2-week trip was ruined by the hurricane Irma and within 12 hours (before our flight to St.Martin) we were forced to decide what to do, if to cancel our wedding/honeymoon altogether or if we should try to find another place to go to. We knew nothing of Aruba, just the fact it is in Caribbean and below the hurricane belt. The decision was made and the race against time began. My husband Matt was so gracious and understanding, you can only imagine our disappointment that all our wedding plans were gone... Matt managed to find Norlene, our new wedding planner within hours and without my knowledge, too. We flew to Aruba on Saturday night and that was the day Matt told me all about it. I was in shock, thinking, we are not going to get married at all. Norlene was able to accommodate us, finding a place, a photographer and a reverend very last minute (she literally had less than one week). THAT is unheard of in the wedding business!! We ended up having a wedding of our dreams, on the beach with the nicest people we could possibly have around. We will be eternally grateful for everything Norlene has done for us, going above and beyond, and pulling it off in an unbelievable time frame. Thank you, Norlene, we will never forget you, our reverend Diane and our wonderful photographer Paul. THANK YOU!!! <3

YES I DO ARUBA (Norlene Edwards) made our day very special. Everything was perfect! She made everything happen that we wanted. The sunset ceremony, romantic dinner, decorations, transportation for our guests, seating set up, the photographer (Doug), hairstylist, the driver and the minister were all the BEST!!!!

I would definitely use this service again. The planning was thoughtful and very responsive t my wishes. They also were able add t the surprise of our vow renewal memory. We highly recommend the services they offer while visiting and truly being allowed to share their beautiful Island of aRUBA.

Norelene made it happen, evn with resistance from the venue. I used Yes I do for day of planning because I had already confirmed everything before deciding on local help. She filled the gaps and delivered! SHe surprised me with items I didnt think I could have due to customs. Highly recommend

You will be in great hands. Norlene did a beautiful job, take her advise on everything and you will have a fantastic wedding.
Paul was our photographer and we cannot put into words how very wonderful the pictures were. He melted into the crowd and you never new he was capturing the most wonderful moments.
We already new Norlene from staying at Manchebo and watching other wedding that she had done, You will love her bright and bubbly personality and her knowledge and grasp of what you want. She is well respected in her field and knows all the right people to give you just what you want.

What a great choice! Everything came together so well. The flowers, the cake, the photographer, the venue, the decorations, the bartender ;-) were all so great. Ms. Norlene was a pleasure to work with and handled all the details of the paperwork and civil ceremony too. It was the best!

l live almost 7000km (4000 miles) away from the beautiful beaches of Aruba. Faced with distance and wedding planning fully conducted via email, Yes I Do provided us with the exact wedding we dreamed of. Everything moved like clockwork and I couldn't be more grateful to Norlene.

I cannot write higher marks of regard for the amazing wedding that Norlene Edwards and her group put together. The wedding was absolutely perfect in every regard. They found the perfect private setting and the flowers and arch were breathtaking. The ceremony was performed by Diane Keijzer. She spent a lot of time creating the perfect sermon and gave us a shell with everyone's name on it to take home. The cake was delivered to the restaurant where we had the reception and it was beautiful and delicious. Paul van Driel was a natural a taking all of the photos and every time we look at them we are able to relive the magic of the ceremony. We got all of this put together for a very reasonable price. Everyone that put together this special day was so charming and kind to us. I can only hope that others looking to create their event will go with this company as well. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Norlene was the second person we consulted with for our destination wedding. After meeting with her for 10 minutes we already knew she was the right person. She was extremely knowledgable about our preferences and even made additional suggestions to make our wedding day perfect. From the location, set up, decorations, time, hair and makeup, photography, food, and music everything was flawless. We even got our bartender from Norlene and he was simply amazing interacting with the guests and making excellent drinks. Our decorations were picture perfect and received numerous compliments from out guests. I HIGHLY recommend YesIdoAruba to for ALL your wedding planning and arrangements!!

Norleen is terrific! We had only one day in Aruba as part of a cruise. Norleen had everything lined up for us ahead of time. She picked us up from the port and took us to Aruba's Town Hall for our civil ceremony. She arranged for a photographer, Paul, who was excellent and far exceeded our expectations. It was a pleasure working with Norleen to plan our Aruba wedding and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to others.

Planning a wedding in Aruba? We were blessed when we met Norlene Edwards. My fiancé and I searched the internet and interviewed many. This decision was difficult; it was hard to trust someone half way around the world to plan our perfect day. One interview ran into another, until Norlene, a breath of fresh air with an island flair we met on Skype like the rest, only this time she invited us to a congratulatory toast, she eased our minds and had the best suggestions to meet all our needs, and needs of our 42 guests from the US and Canada. Saying that I, as a woman am picky is an understatement. I stressed to her I wanted our wedding to be private. All stayed at the RIU Hotel, the best , but when I saw their weddings, by the very populated RIU poolside on a tiny platform every 2 hours , I felt so bad for those Brides, with voyeurs watching in their swimsuits.
Norlene had all involved meet 2 days before at the location, beautiful, private, right on the ocean, in walking distance of RIU. Diane the minister, one of the kindest people I have ever met, performed our ceremony from the heart, as if she’d known us for years. Norlene went over every detail of the day flowers, catering, sound system check, Paul the photographer (perfectionist)
On a private beach, ladies on one side and gents on the other, my son kissed my cheek and said mom I love you, as we walked between them, our friend Tim, played the steel pan to a recording of "Till There Was You" by the Beatles. I looked in front of me and saw my husband, back to me facing the ocean. I walked a few feet, Diane tugged his sleeve as he turned our eyes met as he stood under the archway she created, beautiful is an understatement. Tears of joy streamed down my face. Where to start with our review of Norlene and the amazing services she provides to people looking to get married in Aruba! Let me start by saying that if you are seriously considering getting married in Aruba you MUST use a wedding planner. Coordinating the event yourself will drive you to drink even more Balashi Chill's than you would before! Locating reputable vendors in another country and coordinating the paperwork you will need to submit to the government is a huge undertaking and one that WILLstress you out tremendously. To make everything fall into place perfectly on your special day is only something an experienced local planner can do. Norlene has been doing this a long time and her professionalism, response time, and committment to making our day perfect shone through from the very first Skype call to the day we got our wedding video in the mail. She has great patience and was able to accomodate our budget perfectly. Response time is the outstanding. Emails were responded to within a few hours, Skype calls were punctual, fun, and productive. Norlene does what it takes to make your day perfect no matter how many hours or trips to the florist she needs to make. Another great positive about Norlene is she can plan your wedding at any of the hotels or any place on the island for that matter. Don't feel pressured into using a wedding planner from a specific hotel. If you don't get a good vibe from the planner move on...move on to Norlene! I could keep going but will stop here. Take it from a skeptical guy when it comes to trusting vendors and use Norlene. You will not regret the decision!

The wedding was perfect. The flowers, the beach, everything was done to make the day the most perfect day in my life. Norlene was a great wedding planner, and even without speak our language, she have done everything to make our guests feeling really good.

What Norlene gave to me and my new bride I could not have imagined. All I wanted was to be married in Aruba to my then fiance and Norlene planned every little detail. She booked the minister, the photographer, and even down to creating the heart shaped alter in the sand, she handled it all. We came in on a cruise ship and she was there early to pick us up and when the ceremony and photographs were over she drove us back to the ship and walked us up to the bridge. She was very professional and considerate to make our day as special as possible.

On my wedding day,Norlene Wedding Planner of Yes I Do did an outstanding job with everything like decorations,food,clothes,colors and most diffidently the location Surfside Marina for our reception. it was a place where my guest felt like they where in a palace,everything was done on time and properly coordinated,it was professionally done by Norlene and her team. I would like to say thanks to her for making my dream wedding come true.

My guest could not stop talking about our wonderful wedding, pictures was the quality of pictures was wonderful and professionally done by paul Van Driel one of the best photographer on the Island.

Michael and I would like to take the opportunity to thank Norlene and her team for the wonderful job they did on planning our special day. Norlene was amazing, on-the-ball, and adorable. We went to Aruba to renew our vows because that's were we honeymooned 10 years ago. Yes I Do wedding planning made the whole trip totally stress free. We wanted a small ceremony on the beach at sunset and they made it happen. Even my husband was impressed by their level of service and professionalism, and he is not easy to please, lol. Thanks to Norlene for all her hard work and for making our vow renewal just as memorable as our wedding day.

On July 21, 2013 my wife Kathy and I celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary by renewing our vows on the beach at beautiful Manchebo Beach Resort. Norlene made this special occasion even more special with her attention to detail and wonderful personality. Because of her our celebration was perfect. Not only was there a beautiful ceremony with Greg as the Officiate but fabulous photos by Paul, a wonderful meal provided by Ike's, good drinks made by Lincoln, a beautiful sunset, full moon and she somehow was able to get Venus to complete the skyline. Hopefully we'll be able to have her help us celebrate our 50th Anniversary. After the experience we had with her this year I wouldn't even consider anyone else for this type of ceremony.

Norlene helped us plan our destination wedding in Aruba and was absolutely fantastic. Trying to plan the wedding from NYC seemed daunting, but Norlene had great recommendations for everything and we never had to worry about anything. The location, the DJ, the photographer, the cake - it was all great. The wedding was wonderful and she was there to help all along the way.

Would highly recommend her to anyone (who wants a great wedding).

On our honeymoon we had a "dinner under the stars" on the beach of "Manchebo". It was just a perfect evening. Norlene prepared everything romantic and wonderful and June was also helpful and nice. THANK YOU!!

Our anniversary was spectacular! Everything was perfect on our special day. Norlene was with us every step of the way and went above and beyond to make sure that every detail was in place.
The location was beautiful and was intimate and charming. The day was very easy going, fun and romantic. The food and catering was amazing at the dinner reception. We had a wonderful time..

Norleen is a true professional. From the very beginning of planning for our BIG day-she was a wealth of information -organizing all the paperwork,all the beautiful decorations to make our wedding a fairytale adventure. Every detail-even the ones I didn't even think of-were all thoughtfully prepared-Norleen made all the details come true and created the wedding of our dreams. Norlene was absolutely amazing! She made our wedding day absolutely perfect and every detail went off without a hitch. We had transportation from the hotel, to Eagle Beach for the ceremony and then to Surfside Marina for our reception. The limo for the bridal party and coaches for the guests arrived on time and were clean and very nice. I live in the USA and Norlene really helped point me in the right direction with decor and cake choices that would be best for an outdoor Aruban wedding. The winds and humidity aren't like where I am from so she made sure my choices would still look beautiful there in Aruba. She was extremely helpful and friendly and even picked me up at my hotel and took me to PriceSmart to get some supplies for my guests.

I was worried planning a wedding from overseas never having been to Aruba and never having seen the places I was holding the events. However, Norlene made me very comfortable with the process and I knew that I could trust her with bringing the day together. She made sure she understood my ideas by having me send her pictures of what I was thinking so there were no mistakes. She also took time to Skype with me on several occasions so we could talk things out.

The ONLY reason I am giving Norlene anything other than a perfect score is just because of the time difference between Aruba and where I live as well as the fact that everything in the Caribbean moves a little slower than here in the US, but that is really no fault of Norlene. She is wonderful and attentive and I had the perfect wedding day thanks to all of her hard work and effort. She coordinated everything in amazing fashion and she was very patient as I changed my mind with things several times throughout the process.

Norlene was extremely accomodating and helpful. There is NO way we could have arranged everything on our own since we were only on the island for 5 hours. She found a great spot, decorated it beautifully, had a gorgeous bouquet of my choosing ready, a terrific and extremely reasonably priced photographer, and a very sweet minister that spent a lot of time preparing to incorporate my beleifs as well as my husbands into the words shared. I would absolutely recommend Norlene to anyone planning their wedding on Aruba.

Norlene made our fantasy wedding on the island of Aruba a reality. We were truly impressed with attention to detail in everything that we wanted for our amazing day. Even when I had suggestions about the food we wanted and the bartender we found, she was more than happy to research it and allow us to highlight the local flair that the island had to offer! And the absolutely best part of it all, was the unique venue of our ceremony, the California Dunes. This was the first ceremony done at this location, and Paul (the photographer) made sure we were at the location on time, and Norlene booked the perfect shuttle to get our guests out to the secluded destination! We have the best pictures of all time, as well as phenomenal memories of our island wedding and celebration. We would recommend Norlene and her team to anyone who wants a spectacular event on Aruba's beautiful sands.

Norlene was absolutely amazing! On short notice, she set up the most amazing vow renewal for my wife and I on a remote Aruban beach even though she had another wedding that evening. We rode in on horseback to a beach she coordinated with the Gold Mine Ranch, had the beach decorated, a minister present, and arranged for a photographer, Paul Vandriel, who took the most amazing pictures of our horseback arrival, ceremony and departure. Other planners never responded to my inquiries, and I am so happy she did as she provided us with an experience we will treasure for the rest of our lives!

We had a lot of fun planning our wedding with Noreen last year. She is a fun, easy going person and we had a lot of laughs! She had connections to some great vendors for the cake, the photographer, the DJ, the reverend and the musicians. She went the extra mile to add special touches for our day. As with any event there will be small hiccups, it would have been helpful to have a quick meeting prior to the start of the event to sort out questions that popped up in the prep. Overall we were extremely happy with our wedding, our guest were asking if we would do a renewal just so that they could attend another amazing party!
