I booked Tara from Yana Beauty Studio. I coordinated the makeup trial through Yana and she was very professional and helpful. I did my trial with Tara and ended up choosing her to do my makeup. She did a great job and all of my bridesmaids were really pleased with how their makeup turned out as well. We had another makeup artist come as well from Yana since I had 8 people needing makeup. I never got the other artists name, but I would recommend Tara for someone needing their makeup done. She did fake lashes as well as airbrush that stayed on the whole night!

This is the second time I have used Yana. the first time was for my daughter's wedding and this time it was for my wedding. She made me feel beautiful and youthful! Yana is a delight to work with and her calmness will put any bride at ease. She is accommodating and willing to do whatever the bridal party wants her to do. Our make-up looked and felt amazing for the entire evening!!! Do do give yana a call for your wedding. You will not be sorry!!!!

Yana Beauty Studio did my hair and makeup for both my engagement photo shoot as well as my wedding day. They were referred to me by my amazing wedding coordinator, Rita Meyerkova of Events Boutique. The first time I met with Yana was the morning of my engagement shoot, at her home studio. She has a very nice professional setting. As soon as I met her and sat down I knew that I was in good hands with someone who has been doing this for years. We discussed the setting of the engagement shoot and what would work best. I also showed her some pictures that I had searched online of the vibe and look that I was going for. She was able to get exactly what I wanted and more, she did an amazing job! I knew this was a great preview of how well she would do my hair and makeup for my wedding day. The month before my wedding I met with Yana again to do a trial run of my hair. I again came with a few pictures to give an idea of what I was looking for, and Yana was able to blend them all together to create a great look. I was excited for the big day! On the wedding day, Yana arrived right on time with another makeup/hair artist from her team. There were 5 of us for them to work on (me, my 2 bridesmaids, my mom and my mother-in-law). They both did a GREAT job on us all, especially me the bride ;-) I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup from family and guests at the wedding. The pictures came out great too. I was more than happy with Yana Beauty Studio's work and would highly recommend them!

If you want to know what's it like to feel like a princess you have to call Yana she is absolutely the best! You will know once you've had your makeup done by her, from that point on no one will do as good of a job and you will never feel prettier. She is the sweetest and the nicest person on top of it all!!!! I can't wait to call her again for an event!

I can't say enough good things about Yana. I had my hair and makeup done with her for my wedding day and her work was flawless. She was very detail oriented and was especially good at listening to my vision of what I wanted to look like. Besides that, her energy was her extra perk and exactly what I needed the morning of my big day. She has a be and sweet heart and I highly recommend her. All brides want to feel beautiful on their wedding day, but Yana takes that ideal to a whole new level. All throughout my wedding, I received numerous compliments about how radiant I looked. In fact, you can literally hear me saying on my wedding video, "I wish I looked like this every day!" because that's how gorgeous my makeup and hair were. Every bride deserves to feel and look her best on her wedding day and Yana knows exactly what to do to make that happen. Plus, she's just the sweetest! You seriously are missing out if you do not book Yana.

I cannot say enough great things about Yana and her team; I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! Yana and 2 of her artists did hair and makeup for myself and my 6 bridesmaids, as well as my mom and my aunt, on my wedding day and everyone looked absolutely stunning! My bridesmaids and I brought inspiration photos based on our personal styles, and we were all beyond thrilled with the results. Each person was able to get exactly what they wanted; the hair was perfect without looking stiff or overdone, and the makeup was flawless without looking / feeling heavy or unnatural. Best of all - everyone looked gorgeous in person and in photos, and the hair and makeup lasted all day and night without wear! I highly recommend Yana for any hair and makeup needs, but especially for your wedding! She and her team did an exceptional job and they were all extremely nice, experienced and professional.

Yana is a gem. She made the wedding day preparation go so smoothly with her calm demeanor and wonderful talent. She did hair and make up for us, and everyone looked their very best.

Yana can take your idea photo and make it happen for you. And everything lasts, which is good, because you have to start at 8:00 am for a 6:30 pm wedding. It takes time to be beautiful!

I had the pleasure of having Yana & Tara as our hair & make up artists for our wedding.All my girls and the moms were so happy with how they dolled them up, Yana & Tara made them look and feel like movie stars. I can truly say me and my wife have never felt so beautiful. Yana took her individual time with each of us. You can clearly tell Yana was born to do this. She is amazing her experience shows in her work she is definitely worth every penny or more!!! Both my trail and wedding day make up lasted all night, it was flawless the entire night. Planning a destination wedding isn't easy but working with Yana made my planning so much easier. She even wrote up a schedule for us, and our bridal party for the morning of the wedding which really helped us out. The day of the wedding everything went so smooth she arrived on time and everything went according to her schedule which me and my photographers loved, there was no panic or rushing it was as smooth as can be. Yana and her team are exceptional!! I couldn't be happier I was referred to Yana for my wedding day hair and makeup. She is professional, extremely talented, timely, and so easy to be around. I tend to be anxious about getting my makeup done because most artists mess it up and make me look just plain weird. Yana Beauty Studio was hired to do makeup, and Yana and her team made me and my family and bridesmaids look great on my wedding day. Yana is incredibly talented at making brides look their best, and her airbrush makeup lasted all day long. Literally!

I have had the pleasure of having Yana at two weddings now. And although it was unfortunate that it took me two times to get it right with the guy, choosing Yana was something I got right the first time!
Yana is always pleasant, smiling, and a pleasure to be around. She is professional but doesn't lose that personal feeling you need when trusting someone to make you feel your most beautiful on your special day.
Not only is she wonderful with the bride, but every single one of the ladies that had their makeup done by Yana was impressed. This ranges from simple lipgloss and blush on the flower girls, all of the bridesmaids, as well as the mothers of the bride/groom who were at first, a bit concerned about having such a young woman do their makeup. Older women prefer their standard daily makeup application! However, Yana made them feel comfortable, listened to what they wanted, and was able to pull it off perfectly! Both mothers said they hadn't remembered looking so youthful and fresh in ages!
Yana is worth every penny you spend. People spend thousands on photographers but some fail to realize that they can only work so much magic! Having the perfect makeup makes everyones life easier, and your pictures turn out as you'd imagined.

I love make-up and I’m a wear-make-up everyday type of girl. So, when searching for the perfect make-up artist to make me beautiful for the big day, I knew it was going be a challenge. I had very high expectations. I’ve seen Yana’s work from TLC’s wedding make-over but I said, she’s probably going to be too expensive and wouldn’t be able to afford her. I’ve decided to try other make-up artists but no one met my expectations. Finally, I’ve decided to meet with her. From the minute we met for my make-up and hair trial, I could tell she was perfect for me. She really listened to me and made me look beautiful, just like how I envisioned. Davee did my hair and makeup (I'm the bride) and it was an amazing experience, my hair and makeup turned out exactly as I requested and exceeded my expectations. Davee even found some vintage hair accessories that looked fantastic with my dress, and they were VERY cost effective, and even better they were beautiful! He brought an assistant to help in doing my bridesmaids and mother's hair and makeup and did a FANTASTIC job on them as well, everyone looked beautiful and they made the day very comfortable and a lot of fun. I would say anyone that gets there hair and make up done by anyone other than Yana Studio is just crazy!

Working with Yana and her associate Davee was nothing short of perfect. I live out of town and found them to be very flexible in accomodating me for a trial on the week of my wedding. Not only was Davee incredibly talented and good at knowing what worked for me and my look, but he was also so much fun to be around and kept me zen and laughing for those crucial few hours before my wedding. What a great time!

I highly recommend Yana and Davee and would go to them again for any future makeup needs!

I would highly recommend using Yana's team to anyone in the future! Dave was my hair and makeup artist for my wedding, and he was incredibly accommodating! He met with me early in the morning for my trial (8am), and was 45 minutes early on my wedding day to ensure he was prepared and ready. He listened to my ideas and took all my pictures into consideration to create my wedding "look". He was open to hearing feedback from myself and my wedding party and was incredibly flexible! I received many compliments on my hair and make-up and felt very confident on my wedding day thanks to Dave! I will admit I was a bit emotional on the day of my wedding, and Dave was so sweet and patient. I am sure he touched me up at least 5 times to cover my tears! He has such a wonderful personality, not only did I enjoy him, but everyone in my wedding party loved his work including my mother and sister-in-law! I would definitely enjoy working with him in the future!

Yana and her team are the most amazing team of professionals I have ever worked with. I had the pleasure of working with Davee from Yana Beauty Studio for my wedding. Davee did my hair & makeup and that of my bridesmaids. He made me look and feel SO BEAUTIFUL on my big day. He is amazingly talented and the makeup that he did was so natural and beautiful looking. My guests all told me how great I looked and how I glowed the whole night. The airbrush that was done was flawless and lasted forever. My hair looked amazing thanks to a custom design that was created for me in advance of my wedding. Both Yana and Davee also helped me pick the perfect hair accesories to compliment my gown. I am eternally grateful to them for making me look so perfect on my wedding day!!

Davee Troublefield from Yana Beauty Studio did my hair and makeup for the wedding and I could not recommend him enough!

I'm super picky about my hair and makeup and always end up adjusting something when I get them done professionally. But not with Davee. I told him what sort of feel and look I wanted, brought in some pictures and poof! like magic he gave me exactly what I wanted. Even better than I could have imagined. No adjustments necessary. I've never felt so beautiful in my life.

On the day of the wedding, he was on time, professional, fun, and willing to take as much time with me as I needed. He is extremely pleasant and a ball to have around while getting ready. And not only did I love my hair and makeup but all my bridesmaids loved it as well. All looked different, like themselves and equally beautiful.

I cannot recommend Davee enough!

Yana did my hair and make-up for my June wedding, and I couldn't have been happier with the results. Not only is she incredibly sweet and professional, she's absolutely amazing at what she does. She listened to exactly what I wanted, and everything came out flawlessly. I'm hoping to have a reason to use her again in the future! I highly recommend her services.

I always knew the look I wanted for my hair and makeup for my special day but the challenge was that it wasn't something that I could show Yana through magazine pictures. I just knew all the details in which I had to explain. With the challenge set, not only did Yana create the look but she exceed any expectation I had. I really didn't know how my final look would end up with my hair, makeup, dress, jewellry, etc. but I can say that Yana was a major part in making it all come together just the way I envisioned. She was easy to talk to and was open to any feedback I had. Yana was truly a pleasure to work with and I would 100% choose her again if I had to do it all.... Oh yes, and the way she applies the makeup last all day. I only had to touch up my lips after hours of kissing my now husband :)).

Yana was great! We added and changed the number of people getting their makeup done a few times and she never complained. She even was accomodating with the location. And, of course, she did a FANTASTIC job with everyone's makeup - 6 people who loved it and didn't complain. And my hair lady and her assistant were even watching to see how she did things because they said she was so good. So happy!

Yana did my make-up (air brush) on my wedding day and I looked beautiful! The make-up lasted ALL day long without any touch-ups at all; I just re-applied my lip gloss. This was a true concern to me because I had my make-up done several hours before my reception time, and I went out in the sun & wind for my outdoor pictures. I was worried my make-up is going to melt or it would not last all night. But it looked fresh and flawless all night.
Yana also did the make-up for my Mom and all my five bridesmaids and she managed to get us all out of the door on-time. Everyone was extremely happy with their make-up and everyone looked beautiful!
Yana was extremely professional, sweet, flexible and easy to work with. Working with her was like a breath of fresh air on that chaotic day!
I would definitely recommend her to anyone I know who needs professional make-up done for any occasion!

Yana's hair and makeup was simply put...amazing! I was in a time crunch trying to plan my wedding in only four months. I had waited until the last minute to book my hair/makeup, but one thing I did right was booking Yana and her team. By booking her, I knew it was one less thing I had to worry about while trying to plan the big day. She is professional, personable, and very talented at her craft. On a day where I was so nervous about looking my best, she showed up right on time, and made me and my bridal party look stunning! Our makeup lasted all day and night, I didn't even need touchups!!

I will always look back at my wedding pictures and smile knowing that she helped me feel beautiful on my special day. I'm still receiving compliments from friends and family who see our photos. I had such a great experience with Yana! My wedding was this past June in Malibu but my fiance and I live in San Francisco. We communicated mostly by emails and phone calls -- she was extremely easy to get a hold of.

Yana and her team of of three setup in my hotel room in Santa Monica and did their magic on my wedding day. I looked amazing! Yana made me look like a gorgeous movie star!!! I highly recommend the airbrush foundation and lashes!! My make-up lasted all through the night...we had an after party after the wedding reception and I still looked like I just stepped off Yana's make-up chair at 1 in the morning!

I had my wedding on July 4, 2010 and Yana did my hair and makeup. She is absolutely AMAZING! She did exactly what I wanted, which was a messy side do, and she is an extremely talented makeup artist. She used airbrush makeup and made my skin look flawless. The trial run was definitely worth it because I was able to tell her my concerns about the foundation being a little too dark and my skin being too dry towards the end of the day (but that was an especially windy and dry day in S. Cal). On the day of my wedding, my hair and makeup were perfect. I received so many compliments that day on my hair alone and she did my makeup exactly the way I wanted it done. In fact, a friend recently told me my make up was amazing that day and I believe I’ve convinced her to try airbrushing for her wedding. Yana is also one of the nicest and most patient people you’ll ever meet. Qualities you’ll really appreciate the day of your wedding. I never felt uncomfortable telling her what I wanted (and I’m pretty particular) and she always took my concerns into consideration. I would recommend her to all my friends.

I had my wedding 2 weeks ago. I couldn't ask for a better make-up artist than Yana. She knew exactly what I wanted and not only made me look perfect but also did a very good job for my mom and my maid of honor. She was precisely on time which is hard to find nowadays. Hello my name is Suzy, I was doing research online to find a makeup/hair stylist for my wedding day. I found Yana and read her reviews she had gotton, and decided to book an appt. for a hair and makeup trial. From the seconds i met her i already felt very comfortable like i knew her for years, and i felt relaxed and not nervous. SHe even gave me some useful information on how to apply my makeup and if i need to retouch on wedding day what i should do. When i saw my results for hair and then makeup i was soooo happy, and i loved everthing she had done. It was soo beautiful and i felt so pretty and i knew that was the look i wanted for my wedding day. The makeup was perfectly applied, its was not too heavy and not too light because that is what i wanted. ANd my hair was soo nice, i had asked for braids in my hair and the style she did was soo creative and beautiful. When it came to my wedding day, i was running alittle late because i got lost (i am very bad with directions), but i called her and she made calm down and said it was ok and made me feel soo relaxed. when i got there she was so happy to see me and i felt like it was MY special day that day, and she was focused on me. SHe offered me some coffee or tea and i took tea; and she had some nice music on, very relaxing. i felt so great from the begining until the end. I was amazed and very happy with my wedding day hair,makeup, and experience with Yana. I loved everything. Thank you so much Yana, you made my day so special. :)

Love Yana, I actually almost rescheduled my wedding based on her availability! She is the only make-up artist I use and she is perfect at what she does. I've never been dissappointed and always been very happy with the results. She did make-up for my wedding and she did make-up for me, for all my 4 bridemaids and my mom. Everyone looked gorgeous!!! I like that she doesn't stick to 'bridal' look but rather does what works best for each person and she accentuates your features!!! Just love her! She is very nice, very professional and on time! Yana is truly fantastic and I can't say enough great things about her. From the moment I walked into the trial session with very vague ideas of what I wanted to do, she put me at ease and worked with me till she made sure that I was absolutely happy with the results. She is not only an amazing hair stylist and make-up artist, but also an extremely professional and friendly person. On my wedding day, she arrived promptly to my house and did my hair and make-up and make-up for my mom and sister. Yana was wonderful to work with. I showed her a picture of what I was thinking of for my hair, and the style she created for me was like the photo but even better!! Her attention to detail is amazing, and she works hard to ensure that everything is perfect. She did my hair and make-up and the hair and make-up of my maid of honor and junior bridesmaid. Everyone looked gorgeous and we all are still receiving compliments on how beautiful we all looked. Our hair and make-up lasted all day through pictures, the ceremony, and dancing at the reception... even after spending some time taking photos on the beach. I wanted more than anything to find a good wedding makeup artist, hairstylist, and wedding dress for my wedding. Those were my three things that I couldn't compromise on. I searched until I found Yana for my makeup, based on reviews and my makeup consultation with her. She ended up being the perfect choice.

When my husband say me for the first time he was blown away, telling me that I have never looked so beautiful in my life, which he continued to tell me even days after. And that is saying alot, because I normally put myself together very well, (its not like I ever looked bad in the first place.)

However, her skill doesn't just lie in doing makeup for 25 year olds, but older clientele as well. She did my mom's makeup,a 60-year old woman, and I was shocked when I saw her. Now, while I admit my mom looks good for her age, she seriously looked like a model, and my dad couldn't stop coming up to me saying how beautiful she looked, like she was in her twenties. Now, while I have to say my dad was exaggerating a little, (she did not look like she was in her twenties), she definitely looked like she wasn't a day over 40 and gorgeous. I think I was more stunned at how she turned out than anything. Now, I am not saying Yana can turn a haggard old woman into a supermodel, but she can definitely make you look the best you could ever look. I love this girl and I will always go to her if I ever have a big event.

Yana is a true artist. If you get her for your wedding, you are truly a lucky girl. She did my hair and makeup and I loved it. I was amazed that the hair and the makeup help up for over 14 hours during a hot June day. She is amazing!!!! Her assistants also did makeup for my bridesmaids, and all the girls loved the quality of their hair and makeup. She is great and works with great assistants as well.

After doing hair and makeup trial runs with three artists and being less than satisfied with the results, I stumbled upon Yana's website. We scheduled a trial run and before she got started she asked me lots of questions about the look I wanted. We tried two looks and I loved them both so much I had a hard time deciding between them. My makeup was flawless and still looked like me, only better! Yana came to the site on my wedding day and did hair and makeup for my mom, my seven bridesmaids, and me. Everyone looked and felt gorgeous! I am pretty particular about how I wear my hair and makeup (aren't we all!) and I can honestly say that I have never looked better. I could never put a price on the feeling of confidence I had on my wedding day, yet Yana's prices are more than reasonable. Now I am looking for an excuse to use her again!

There is nothing bad that can be said about Yana. She did my hair an make up for my wedding and it turned out beautiful and natural and stayed on all night as if it was just applied. She has a light hand and is trully an artist. Asside from her talent she has a great personality and is very easy to talk to. I felt relaxed all morning. I can't thank her enough and would definately recommend her. She also did my mom's, mother-in-laws, and aunts hair and make-up and was able to enhance everyones features. She also uses air brush which makes your skin flaw-less and fake eyes that really make you feel glamorous.

She is also very organized, returns phone calls, and arrived on time.
One tip when planning your make-up schedule for your wedding day is make sure to leave enough time.

Yana did my make-up and my daughter's, who were my bridesmaids. Everyone looked beautiful and I loved my make-up. Also, our pictures came out great!!

Yana does amazing work! I met with her for the first time to do the consultation and trial run and she had me in her makeup chair until my hair and makeup were exactly the way I had envisioned it. On my wedding day she did an amazing job on myself, my mother, my sister, and all my bridesmaids. My bridsmaids were all late but she was still able to finish everyone well in time, and of course they all looked great! Yana does amazing work. She did my make-up as well as my two bridesmaids, my mother-in-law and my mom and everyone looked wonderful (and the make-up lasted all night). One of my bridesmaids has a really big tattoo across her chest and Yana was able to cover it up by airbrushing so well you never would have known she had one. She is also incredibly professional, great to work with and you can tell she loves what she does. I would highly recommend her.

A bit pricey but well worth it. Incredibly talented make up artist! Does exactly what you want and more. I felt and looked like a movie star and so did all of my bridesmaids!

Yana is the Best!!!!. She is an amazing artist. She did make up for me, my bridal party and my mom. We all loved it especially my mom who hardly has her makeup on. We all looked beautiful on that day. Thank you so very much. Will absolutely recommend to friends and use her service again for every future events

I had Dave one of Yana's top assosiates do my make up and hair for my wedding. I did a make up trial but not a hair trial before but EVEYTHING looked amazinggggg the day of my wedding. HE IS VERY talented and great to be around. He did not only a beautiful job but everything stayed in place all day and night which is something i was worried about. Everyone still talks about how great my hair and makeup looked and the photos are also beautiful with this make up.

Yana is amazing. I had no idea how I wanted to wear my hair for my wedding and she instantly came up with a style that I absolutely loved. My hair and makeup looked so fantastic, it's just how every bride wants to feel on their wedding day. I can't tell you how many compliments I got, people told me I looked like a movie star. Yana is wonderful! Her charm goes hand in hand with her skill. She did such a great job on my hair and make-up. Everything was very natural and looked amazing on the photographs. She takes into consideration everything you say and definitely delivers to bring out your best features. I recommend doing a trial just so that Yana can get to know what you want and everything is perfected. After all, it's one day and you want everything to be perfect. Also, Yana is such a joy to work with. Her energy just makes the getting-ready process stress-free!

Yana was great! She really listened to my feedback and worked with me to achieve my ideal look. I felt wonderful and thought the look translated well in the photos and i still felt like myself! she also made my mom look fabulous. She has the ability to listen to her clients and really understand what's driving them and what they want to achieve. She carries herself very professionally, works well under pressure while achieving the client's ideal look.

"Yana was the BEST choice when it came to my wedding hair/makeup. She is a truly gifted makeup artist, and I had no doubts about the way I looked at my wedding (which is exactly how you want to feel on your wedding day)! She really worked with me to get the looks I wanted down at my trial. And aside from her talent, I just liked talking with her. She is relaxed and easy to work with, a big plus when you're sitting in the chair and feeling a little jittery on the big day. Yana was fantastic on my wedding day and did a beautiful job with me, my mother and my bridesmaids. In the planning phase she was mildly disorganized with respect to getting me the contract and keeping record of my payments. Her artistic talents nearly make up for it.

I had my hair and makeup done for my wedding by Yana. I can't say I was 100% satisfied. I did like how my hair turned out. I liked it a lot. The make-up was ok. I didn't have enough time to really look at it and do changes. Overall I think that for the amount of money I paid we should have had a second person helping with hair and make up. My mom did not like her makeup at all. She did not like the placement of the lashes. or the eyeshadow and eyebrow shape. Yana rushed in completing both mother of the bride and maid of honor because we ran late. I thought that for the amount of money we paid the outcome would have been better for all. Luckly I had extra bobby pins bc Yana ran out. My maid of honor was not happy with the rushed service. I'm not sure if I would recommend this service.
