Best. Florist. Ever.
My husband and I couldn’t rave more about XO Design and specifically Nichole. Flowers were a little intimidating to us when it came to the wedding planning process, not really sure what we wanted, what kind of flowers would look good, and just being new to the whole process. Nichole went ABOVE AND BEYOND for us, explaining every single step, detail, and intricacy. She did a wedding at our venue the week after we met for the first time and sent us so many inspo pictures and ideas she had that truly transformed our reception space. She even reached out about a week or 2 before the wedding and asked if she could add more flowers that were within the season our wedding was and it took it all to the next level. Her creativity and talent are unmatched, but how nice, personable, and how well she got along with all of our vendors truly sets her apart. I couldn’t recommend XO and Nichole enough! She made our vision and then some into our dream wedding!!! -

I am a wedding planner in Chicago and recommended that my brother and sister-in-law use XO Designs Co. for their rehearsal dinner and wedding decor because I had worked with them in the past and knew their beautiful work and professionalism would be a great fit. Of course Nichole and her team knocked it out of the park, beyond our wildest dreams.
Nichole was extremely supportive and flexible during the design process in order to get the designs exactly where we wanted them. For both events, my brother and sister-in-law walked into the space and were left speechless with how vibrant, luxurious, and beautiful the floral and decor was. I had guests running up to me asking me who the florist was because guests were blown away as well. I will never forget the look on my sister-in-law's face when she saw her bridal bouquet the morning of her wedding, it was a really special and full circle moment that exemplified how perfectly XO Designs Co. executed her vision.

Nothing but great things to say about Nichole from XO Designs. She helped take my one very specific floral inspo pic and bring it to life on my wedding day. She also played the critical role of my co -artistic director for the day and was very involved in helping me select other important components such as linens, napkins, flower girl dresses, etc to make sure my vision was cohesive throughout. I would highly recommend Nichole to anyone. -

There are so many moving parts when planning a South Asian wedding, but one thing we did not need to worry about was florals and decor because of Nichole. From our Sangeet & Garba to our wedding mandap & reception, Nichole created a breathtakingly beautiful ambiance of everything we wanted and more.
Nichole was open to all communication/meetings to organize and make sure everything was executed perfectly. She even helped us with a custom seating chart display!

Nichole was amazing to work with! I found her through Instagram and fell in love with her floral design. I reached out to her and shared some pictures of flowers and colors that I liked, but had absolutely no idea what I wanted. I told her that I didn't want my wedding to look like everyone else's and I wanted something unique - she came back to me with the most beautiful design concept, which was even better in person. I literally cried when I saw my bouquet. I knew the moment we had our consultation with Nichole that she was who I wanted to do my flowers for our wedding. Everything was absolutely amazing and exactly how I envisioned.
She also repurposed flowers and did flowers for our welcome party too which looked great. She and her team drove out to the Chicago suburbs two days in a row which we so appreciated. Definitely go with Xo!! -

Breathtakingly Beautiful
One look at XO Designs Instagram page and we knew Nichole and her team were the ones we wanted for our wedding. Nichole is a beautiful person, everything we discussed upon our initial conversation was brought to light on our wedding day, she truly delivered magic. Unbelievable floral and service
Working with Nichole was absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful in helping me narrow down my vision and was so patient and understanding during the planning process. She did an excellent job working with me to bring out my vision as I had a hard time explaining what I was envisioning for my big day. She showed her expertise and knowledge in design by being honest with me about which elements would go well together and what would look good in my space, which I found extremely helpful because I am not the best at design.
I could never have imagined how AMAZING my florals would be the day of. I recieved endless comments about how beautiful the florals and decor were and I am so thankful I trusted Nichole to execute my vision. She truley exceeded my expectations and and is incredibly talented at what she does. My florals were one of my favorite part of my wedding day and they were a perfect representation of myself and my husbands style.
XO design made the day so easy for us and worked so hard during set up and tear down. Nichole was even there after our wedding cleaning up and we were just amazed at her dedication and professionalism throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend using there services! -

Magical day!
Xo design truly made all of our dreams come true for our special day. Nichole is the most genuine, easy, and fun person to work with. From the very start she called me to get an idea of my vision and from the very first time we talked to the day of the wedding she was easy to contact, flexible with my ideas, and has a true art for making my ideas come to life. I can easily say the floral for my wedding day was ABOVE everything I imagined in my head. She listened to us, made adjustments accordingly, was flexible with our budget, and made us feel like we weren't just another couple getting married. She was made to do this! The entire team worked so hard to set everything up, tear down, and went above and beyond to make our space so beautiful. I would recommend Xo design over and over again! -

A dream from start to finish
To say I'm obsessed with Nichole and her work is an understatement.
I started following XO before my husband and I were even engaged, and when it finally came time to book our florist, I knew right away who I wanted to reach out to. From the first phone call up until the day of, Nichole not only shared her creative expertise with us, but truly made it feel like a collaboration and even despite all the busssiness that comes with being a wedding vendor, she still gave us the attention and care you would get if you were her only event that year.
Nichole and her team make the effort to understand you and your partner, and they deliver a product that feels so genuine to you. Every aspect that XO had their hands on had us saying "wow this is so us...this is so me". I chose to opt out of any mock ups because I trusted them so much, and when Nichole came to give me my bouquet in the bridal suite, it was so beautiful I bursted into tears. Nichole and the entire XO team is so talented, I will continue to recommend them and sing the highest praises to any newly engaged couple looking for their florist/decor vendor! -

Perfection
I cannot praise Nichole and her team at Xo Design enough; they are absolutely phenomenal! Where do I even begin? They are, without a doubt, the best in the business.
From the very start, their responsiveness and creativity set them apart. Nichole and her team not only listened to our vision but elevated it to a whole new level. They took our ideas and brought them to life in ways we couldn't have imagined. It's truly magical to see your dreams materialize before your eyes, and Xo Design made that happen for us.
What truly stands out is their unwavering support. When the wedding planning stress began to creep in, they were there, calming our nerves and finding solutions to every challenge that arose. They have an incredible ability to pivot as needed, ensuring that everything goes off without a hitch. Additionally, they consistently went above and beyond. Nichole met with us at our event space multiple times, brainstorming and providing invaluable information. This helped us coordinate seamlessly with other vendors, ensuring that every detail flowed effortlessly.

On the day of, her team was incredible and made sure everything was executed flawlessly.
If you want a florist and event designer in one, Nichole is your woman. I avoided having to work with three other vendors to source certain design elements because Nichole focuses on offering a complete design experience in conjunction with the flowers. Literal Perfection!!!

On our wedding day, when we saw our space for the first time, we were overwhelmed by her artistry. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about the florals! I am still in awe and absolutely blown away by the work Nichole and her team at Xo Design put together for our wedding! From the initial meeting I had with Nichole to discuss my fiancé and I's wedding, I knew we had to work with her- there was no doubt in my mind! She already had so many ideas come to life in our first meeting, and from Day 1, through our wedding day, and beyond she has been such a JOY to work with! She was there for me through all the questions I had (big or small), was a text/phone call away whenever I needed to ask her something, professional, joyful, incredibly talented, kindhearted- the list goes on!
There is one story that sticks out that speaks volumes about Nichole and the Xo team that I will never forget, it shows just how genuine they all are. On the instagram account for Xo, they had posted a photo and had said, "comment your favorite flower below". I wrote my favorite floral in the caption and posted it and on my wedding day the team showed up to deliver my bouquet and my bridesmaids, and in the bouquet were TULIPS! They said how they saw my comment on their instagram and wanted to incorporate my favorite flower in the bouquets- I mean COME ON! How special?! That to me will always be something I remember about Xo, they care SO MUCH and pay attention to every last detail-even when you don't think they are looking
Nichole and her team will without a doubt bring your floral and decor dreams to life! Absolute visionaries! Everyone at Xo Design went above and beyond in order to help bring my fiancé and I's wedding day to life. Nichole and her team will ALWAYS have a place in my heart- not only were they amazing to work with, but overall SUCH great people. I met Nichole mid 2019 and to say it was meant to be...well it was meant to be. We clicked and bonded over our shared love for dried florals, similar aesthetics and all around good vibes. From that first meeting I knew I could trust her to use her floral and decor magic to create the wedding of my dreams. I specifically remember telling her, "I don't care what flowers you use, I trust you". After a whirlwind of postponements in 2020, Nichole was there and checked in every step of the way. She was the most accommodating, supportive and one of the biggest hype person we had backing us. I knew I needed her, no matter the number of changes we had to make to get to the wedding date. Her florals and decor were BEYOND BEAUTIFUL. My husband and I were in literal shock during our room reveal. It 1000% exceeded our expectations and whatever mock design we initially came up with. People always say the guests don't really care about the little details... well when done right they absolutely do, because the details and decor from our wedding are still talked about to this day!
Above and beyond is what you get with Nichole and her team. She is immensely talented, has such a creative eye and is just a good person who cares. I am so glad I met her and will always think of Xo Design anytime we look at photos from our wedding day. Xx -

Last minute, we planned a courthouse wedding (with a full celebration planned next year) and I reached out to Nichole to build a beautiful bouquet and boutonniere set for our intimate, secret elopement. Right away, she was responsive, friendly and SO creative. I'm not well versed in flowers and or color (normally I wear black on black on black) so I shared with Nichole our outfits and let her express her creative self! The end result was gorgeous and perfect for our day. Beyond the work, Nichole is so friendly and makes you feel like you're her only client - when I know she's one busy lady (how could she not be - she's TALENTED!). A True Dream to Work With
Where do I start with this incredible company? I'll start with the incomparably talented owner, Nichole. I met Nichole in February of 2020 and immediately I knew that she was the person we needed to bring our wedding version to life.
Leading up to the wedding, chaos was happening in the world. Nichole handled this SO gracefully and any time I had questions come up, she was willing to chat with me even with her incredibly busy schedule.
On the day of the wedding, my breath was taken away. I am not being exaggerative when I say she created the most stunning floral and décor I have ever seen, and how lucky I feel that it was for my own wedding! Her vision and ability to execute that vision are unmatched.

Trust the expert, Nichole
Right off the bat from just an introduction call, Nichole’s bright and warm personality shined through and I was sold. It was critical during my process that I surrounded myself with vendors that I could trust and genuinely wanted to be around. She is not only kind but extremely talented and an expert at her craft. I booked her immediately for her day-of coordinating services and it was one of the best decisions for our wedding.
When I think back to the day of, I was able to be so present and enjoy every minute with my husband, and family and I owe this stress-free mentality to the fact that Nichole was running around coordinating ALL things. After hosting a lot of parties for friends and or family, typically throughout the event the host anxiety creeps in, “Is everyone fed? Is everyone comfortable? Do I need more ice?”... that list goes on and on. Nichole so graciously took over responsibility as the host and was tuned into all the answers to these questions.
My bustle broke right before our first dance and guess who was there to fix it? Both Nichole and her assistant Mina jumped in and played seamstress. They escorted guests to where they needed to go, answered the questions from the wandering guests, gave order to the rehearsal walk-through. At one point when my now husband and I did our introductory walk-in day of, I saw Nichole politely whisper to a tall guest in the front to shift slightly so that the shorter guests in the back could see. The details, she just sees it all! She was completely in tuned to every social que and all the coordination details. OH and did I mention she's insanely creatively gifted too? The experience was perfect. I am forever grateful for Nichole and if I have any piece of advice to newlyweds out there, book Nichole now. You will be able to enjoy every minute of your event while Nichole executes flawlessly.

Cannot recommend Nichole enough! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.
We hired Nichole for our Chicago wedding planned for June 2020. When COVID hit, Nichole was so accommodating as we postponed to the following year. Fast forward to 6 months leading up to our second wedding date, we decided to completely switch gears… not only downsizing our guest list, but moving locations from Chicago to Southern CA. Nichole was so understanding, and we were thrilled when she offered to travel for our April 2021 wedding to Temecula, CA. We could not be more thankful to still work with her – boy, did she deliver! Every single detail was perfect: the florals, the candles, the hand-picked vases matching the groom’s suit… so beyond what we could’ve hoped for. Our wedding was a dream and we’re so happy to have had the pleasure to work with her. I HIGHLY recommend her and her team – on top of being incredible at her job, she’s just an amazing human and made us feel so loved throughout the entire planning process. My husband and I had hired Nichole and XO designs for our elegant wedding on 4/4/2020. Nichole and I had designed such a beautiful, extravagant design for our big day and I was beyond floored to see it come to fruition; Nichole’s vision was inspiring. However, COVID hit and three weeks before our big day we were forced to cancel our wedding. Our contract with XO stated we owed a non-refundable 50%, which I totally understood because it was written ahead of time and we signed knowing that statement. However, unlike other vendors, Nichole instantly asked what she could do for us so we could use that 50% we paid. We had several phone calls leading up to 4/4 and had to change our elopement plans so many times and didn’t finalize day of details until a few days before our elopement. Nichole was patient and kind through the whole experience and drove out to the suburbs to set up a gorgeous display at my in-laws house so that we would have a beautiful backdrop for our wedding day. I cannot thank her or recommend her enough for what she put together, especially so last minute. I also cannot stress that XO could’ve easily taken our 50% and walked away when our wedding got cancelled, but still went out of their way to deliver us beautiful florals and decor so that we received something for what we paid, NO OTHER VENDOR DID THIS FOR US. Truly so kind. -

Nichole and her team came highly recommend from a friend of mine and I can definitely see why! I knew I wanted more of a Bohemian theme at my wedding but had absolutely no idea where to start. Mind you, I am so clueless when it comes to flowers and I didn’t look at Pinterest once for ideas! But it was almost as if she was in my brain because everything I attempted to explain, she immediately fed off of it. What she suggested was exactly what I wanted and SO much more. The amount of compliments I received about my venue were countless and people were truly stunned by the atmosphere of my wedding. She was so organized, timely, professional, and most importantly was very mindful with my budget which my husband and I greatly appreciated. Working with Nichole and her team at XO Design Co. was honestly the best decision I made when planning our wedding. When I initially met with Nichole, I was beyond impressed because she was able to build upon the very minimal ideas that I provided at the time (I am not a creative person) and that she was able to on to come up with an absolutely dreamy vision for our wedding on the spot during our first meeting. The only details I told her were the general color scheme and that I wanted "dark and moody" as the vibe... she took this information and created a truly stunning event for us. Throughout the process, Nichole and her team were extremely responsive and she treated me like a friend, which made me feel valued and comfortable as I worked with her. Nichole and her team put care and thought into every detail to make it perfect. I cannot emphasize enough how fortunate we were to have worked with XO Design Co.

Nichole was a dream to work with. She treated me as a friend, which I really appreciated. She was able to take my Pinterest board and bring it to life. Nichole not only designed our reception but created a gorgeous backdrop for our ceremony and was able to utilize flowers for both spaces. I appreciated how accommodating she was to fit our budget and help our day look absolutely gorgeous. -

I'm not sure if there are words to describe how impressed I am with XO Design Co., but I'll do my best.
I used XO as both my floral/decor vendor and day-of coordinator for my wedding. They blew me away in both respects.
Florals:
I first met Nichole about a year and a half before my wedding. She agreed to meet me at a coffee shop near my home, and we went through my floral vision, etc. She sent me a summary of what we discussed, as well as a summary of costs. She was cheerful throughout the process, and even though my wedding was so far away, she made it a priority.
I changed my vision several times, and each time, Nichole was patient and walked through various ideas with me. We actually met a second time to revamp my decor.
The decor at my wedding exceeded all of my expectations. I told Nichole that I wanted to do muted blush with amber accents and lots of greenery, and she nailed it. She gave special attention to decorating the staircase at my venue, which I told her was the most important decor element to me! She even added leftover florals to my cake complimentary.
All of my guests were in awe of her attention to detail. She really captured my vision and understood it better than I did myself.
Planning:
Since I noticed that Nichole was so easy to work with for floral/decor, I decided to hire her as my day-of coordinator. That was one of the best decisions that I could have made. She spent so much time going over every little detail, including making sure that the uplighting in my venue didn't negatively affect my photos. She picked up lunches for my bridal party that I ordered before the wedding and an ice cream cake. Someone took the wrong lunch, and she and Ashley ran out and grabbed another one for him. At one point, someone stepped on my MOH's toe which started bleeding everywhere, and Ashley quickly handled the situation. My day was completely stress-free because they were so on top of everything. They packed up everything for me at the end of the night in such an organized fashion. I'm genuinely going to miss working with them!
So overall, the XO team is great. Their costs are reasonable, but most importantly, they are friendly, organized, and easy to work with. -

Amazing experience
Nichole and her team are amazing and we're so glad we went with a wedding planner!
We used XO design for our decor as well and we've received non stop compliments about how beautiful our wedding looked.
Our wedding took place at the Union Station, which involves a lot of moving parts with multiple vendors and Nichole and her team were just fantastic. Thanks so much for making our day so special! -

Stunning floral & decor for our tropical beach wedding!
Nichole is the absolute BEST!!! Her and her team made the wedding of our beach wedding dreams look stunning. We wanted the feel of a tropical beach resort and even if that beach resort was off the shore of Lake Michigan in Chicago, she made it happen!! She sees your vision, and does every possible thing she can to make it perfect. It was everything we wanted and more! The details are so beautiful and meticulously prepared for your big day! Dream Wedding
I met Nichole at a wedding show and immediately knew I needed her for floral and decor at my wedding. After sitting down and telling her what I wanted, she created the most amazing vision. She was in constant communication with finalizing what I wanted at the wedding.
On the day of the wedding, I felt completely comfortable with her decisions. Her attention to detail is incredible. Walking into the ceremony and the reception to see what her team had done had me at a loss for words. It was beyond everything I imagined. I wouldn’t have changed anything. Having her team set up and then take everything with them at the end of the night was so easy and made my stress levels nonexistent.

Nichole and XO Design Co are as good as it gets!
I was looking for a florist and a design team that would not only create beautiful floral arrangements and bouquets for the big day but that would also take part in the entire design/set up and break down of our wedding event space(s) at the Ritz Carlton. Nichole did just that and the entire process was so easy and seamless (I was even planning a Chicago wedding from NYC). I told her my vision and what I wanted and she made it happen and all within our budget!
I was beyond stunned when I walked into the beautiful room that Nichole and her team created on my wedding day. I am so thankful to have worked with an honest and professional wedding vendor (especially in today's climate of being overcharged for EVERYTHING wedding related). Thank you XO! I found Xo Design Co and Nichole via Wedding Wire and Instagram. We quickly made plans to meet to discuss floral/decor and planning/coordination. I didn't have a very focused vision of what I wanted but after one meeting with Nichole, we had it all figured out. She showed me lots of pictures, we talked about my home decor, clothing style and life in general--and totally bonded. She was able to quickly identify my style and pair that with the feeling I wanted our wedding day to have. I provided a very loose idea of a budget and Nichole never once pushed me outside my comfort zone. We also hired her and the team to handle day-of-coordination. I didn't want to do anything other than enjoy the day of my wedding so this was an excellent choice--I barely lifted a finger day-of! The flowers and decor were absolutely stunning and unique. They were beautiful with a little bit of an edgy, boho-chic feel---exactly what I was going for. Nichole and her team are true professionals and they did a fantastic job making sure I was aware of and loved every detail. Our wedding was one of the best days of my life and Nichole and her team set the stage in the most perfect, gorgeous and dreamy way. My friends and family still can't stop talking about it! -

My now husband was hesitant at first as I am a natural at planning, though when he saw how much coordination would have to take place the day of, he came to his senses. Nichole & her team went above & beyond BEFORE the big event, as I experienced a tragic loss in my family, my father. Nichole swooped in and contacted ALL of the vendors to inform them of the news, so I did NOT have to worry about a thing. You do not see this type of personal touch nowadays. Nichole has a HUGE heart. Nichole put together a comprehensive timeline of our wedding weekend DOWN TO THE MINUTE, for which a detailed oriented person like me, LOVED. She shared this item with all the vendors so everyone was on the same page. Nichole and her team helped out with the rehearsal and the set up the day of. My husband could not believe how calm & relaxed I was all weekend. It was because I knew we were in great hands. I cannot recommend XO Design Co enough. Hiring a day of coordinator, especially Nichole, was key to the success of our wedding.

Starting from the initial consultation to the day of the wedding, Nichole was able to take my vision and brought it to life. I remember sitting down with Nichole during the initial consultation and I told her I knew absolutely nothing about flowers. Within an hour, she was able to create a beautiful design and it was truly better than anything I could have ever imagined. It was so easy to communicate with Nichole throughout the entire wedding planning process. It was also so helpful that her and her team came back to the venue at the end of the reception to pick up decorations that were rented. This allowed our guests to enjoy the night and not worry about any sort of clean up.I highly recommend Nichole and her team to anyone who is looking to have their dream wedding become a reality.

I met with A LOT of florists/decor companies and xo Design co. was a breath of fresh air. They really listened to what my vision was for the wedding and tried every which way to make it happen in my budget. I had so much faith in Nichole and her team that I actually had forgotten what we had decided for decor on the day of the wedding. I'm not kidding when I say that my jaw literally dropped when I walked into the ceremony and saw all the beautiful decor, and again when I saw the reception. Nichole was recommended to me by a co-worker at the time and let me tell you - it was fate! As a bride, there's so many decisions to be made and hiring Nicole to handle our flowers was the best decision. Her vision and floral pieces really pulled our whole wedding together. I'm so happy with how they turned out and I highly recommend choosing Nicole. Her quote was over our budget so we ended up having to pick either hiring a band or Nicole... we went with a DJ (shout out to Toast and Jams) and Nicole and I am SO GLAD we did.
