    XO by Haleigh Kenney Made My Floral Dreams a Reality

    There aren't enough gold stars or things I can say that will ever justify how amazing Haleigh and her team are. I had been struggling to find a vendor that could not only stay within budget but who could bring my vision to life, and had almost given up hope when my wedding planner recommended seeing what Haleigh could do. Not only did she completely nail what I was looking for, she instantly created a vision board that was better than my own. To say I was in awe is an understatement. I felt so comfortable and confident that Hailey could provide EXACTLY what I wanted, that we actually never even met in person until the day of the wedding. It's been several months since then and I still think about my flowers almost every single day (no joke - I'm that obsessed with them). If it weren't for Haleigh (who is also the sweetest human being ever) and her team, my wedding wouldn't have been the same. She truly made my floral dreams come true and I'm forever thankful for her!!!!

    Haleigh was AMAZING to work with. Not only is she so talented at what she does, but she goes above and beyond to make sure that your vision comes to life. She traveled all the way to literally the middle of nowhere to set up my arch and drop off the bouquets. When I saw them I was blown away! She made my floral dreams come true! She even left us the extra flowers and greenery to use. I cannot recommend her enough! She is hands down the BEST.

    Beyond talented florist + amazing friend

    My husband and I’s wedding plans were all over the place and I know 100% I wouldn’t have gotten through the process without Haleigh.
    Being a wedding professional in oklahoma, I already had heard so many great things about Haleigh and her business and obviously that her floral skills were out of this world so it was an easy decision to hire her as our wedding florist. We also hired Fete for planning services and rentals as well. We originally booked Haleigh for our Oklahoma wedding that was a little over a year away at the time. All the girls were so nice, easy to communicate with, and on top of all the appointments I was needing to make and be at! They even went to all the meetings with me!
    About half way through our planning process (and needing to start paying + nailing down other vendors) my husband and I had a change of heart and decided that we wanted to elope on the beach in Michigan and moved our wedding up 9 months. I immediately contacted Haleigh and her girls to set up a meeting! I was worried that I had wasted so much money but they sat down with me and helped me figure out a way to use the deposits I had already paid so they were not wasted. On top of that HALEIGH CAME TO MICHIGAN AND STILL DID ALL MY FLORALS. With. 3. months. notice. I was amazed at the way it all worked out and I had the most beautiful florals for my wedding day! Haleigh was the best wedding vendor and was (obviously) super flexible with all my changing plans and I couldn’t be more thankful. I recommend her to everyone! She’ll be your bff by the end of everything!

    XO Haleigh Kenney is AMAZING at what she does

    I would 100% recommend Haleigh Kenney. She is an amazing florist/designer and an even better person with the cutest personality. I basically just told Haleigh what style I liked and she made all of my floral dreams come true. I still love to look back at my wedding photos and mesmerize. She is amazing! Hire her if you want complete perfection.

    Royal Floral!

    Dreamy and Professional

    I didn’t know what the heck I was doing when it came to wedding planning, but I knew that I wanted flowers that would make a statement and help me pull our “Sinko” de Mayo theme together. XO by Haleigh Kenney was my number one choice and after reviewing their gallery and talking to Haleigh. I knew I wanted her for not only our florist but also our wedding planner. She was so kind and genuine - I knew I was safe in her hands. Her and her team made me feel stress-free and I helped with every decision we made.     Xo flowers

    Haleigh Kenney is one of the most talented designers I have ever met! When I went with my daughter to interview her as a potential florist for her wedding, we were met with the warmest smile and sweetest attention to details! When we left my daughter told me she didn’t want to talk to anyone else because she knew in her heart that Haleigh was the one! I told her great because that was exactly how I felt! From that day forward, our work with her only grew sweeter and more cherished! She introduced us to her co-partner and business Fete and from that point forward, we never worried about details of the wedding. After my daughters wedding, we had soooo many people comment on how beautiful it was and what a great job we had done. I would always feel guilty and say... “I didn’t do anything!” and would share Haleigh’s name because she certainly deserves all the credit for her amazing talent!!! You cannot go wrong by hiring this vendor for your special day!!!

    Difficult and Inflexible. Had to fire her and lost our deposit.

    I strongly advise against working with Haleigh Kenney (HK) and her associates with her wedding planning company for any wedding planning and floral arrangement contracts.

    A brief history of my experience: My 21 yo daughter met with HK, agreeing on a $35,000 wedding budget for her wedding and reception to be held at our home. A contract was signed for the “ultimate wedding experience” including weekly “check-ins” by HK. My daughter did not hear from HK or anyone from her company for 6 weeks after the contract was signed. After HK finally got in touch with her (again, several weeks had gone by) HK emailed my daughter that she would need to “tack on at least another $15,000 to her budget”. The last straw was when she tried to sell her an additional $11,000 for “extra flowers”. To be clear, my daughter’s vision, budget and requirements changed very little throughout the wedding planning process.
    My daughter wanted to honor us, her parent’s and our money, by staying on budget.
    My daughter ultimately fired Haleigh for underperformance and constantly pushing the budget higher and higher. Since the wedding was, at this time, over 3 months away we called HK and asked for a partial refund on the floral down payment only. HK responded by saying “talk to my lawyer” and hung up. I later found out from other people in the business that HK has a reputation of being difficult to work with.
    The GOOD NEWS is we were able to hire another wedding planner and the wedding went on, on the date as planned, without a hitch, and under budget.

    XO by Haleigh Kenney's reply:

    Hi David. I'm going to reply to your false claims as simply and directly as possible since this event took place over a year ago, and your daughter and her husband split the week after the wedding and I would like to think everyone has moved on with life. It's clear there were underlying issues going on that had absolutely nothing to do with me or my services. Your daughter booked our partial wedding package and I will actually post a copy of the contract and what it included. When she booked us, she had already spent 29k of her 35k wedding budget. We had nothing to do with her previously booked items and were not made aware of every single one of them until she logged into her online account and plugged the numbers in.
    To address the claim you made stating that she did not hear from me.. The most time we ever went without meeting were the three weeks directly following her initial meeting on November 9th (which I told her before we even met in person that I was being induced the following week) I was in the hospital giving birth on 11/16 and then by my newborn baby's side as she had life-saving open heart surgery. Again, I directly emailed her before she even scheduled her consultation and let her know that I was going to be on maternity leave and gave her my personal cell to contact me anytime, as well as introduced her to my business partner at our meeting. Laney booked us anyway knowing that I would be hard to reach over the next few weeks. IT WAS NOT 6 WEEKS. Laney booked on the 9th and then came by our shop again on the 10th to pick up a welcome gift. At that time we also met her then fiancé. I had my daughter the next week, my daughter had surgery the following Tuesday/thanksgiving week and we spent 15 days at children's getting her well. I reached out to Laney on 12/11 to book a meeting and she wanted to meet on the 20th of December. We met and discussed rentals/design and flowers. Laney had VERY specific things she wanted and I quoted what she wanted while letting her know we start with the dream quote and work our way down. I NEVER told her to spend 11k on flowers. In fact, after 6 floral estimate revisions she decided to only do personals and a large greenery chandelier hanging above the dance floor, and I agreed to let the family DIY the rest. Which is typically not something we ever allow. She was happy with that.. or so she had said.
    Our main goal when we meet with brides is to bring their vision to life with their budget in mind. The ideas we presented to Laney were ALL in her budget but she wanted certain things that financially did not make sense and to be blunt, were a waste of money. example: using only square tables that made complete squares that required more tables/more linens/a bigger tent and accommodated less people. Laney was not open to hearing our or the rental associate's design ideas that we felt could achieve the same look without the wasted additions. On 12/21 we booked invitations with a preferred vendor who Laney was to receive a discount through. I believe you all still used that same vendor and design. On 12/22 we emailed back and forth regarding the tent layout again (8 times to be exact) On 12/23 we exchanged 7 emails regarding flowers as well as rental budget. On 12/28 my business partner and I went to the rental company to meet with our consultant in person to discuss the layout. Later that day I sent her bid to your daughter and we exchanged emails again back and forth. The estimate came in lower than we anticipated which was great. She later that day informed me she'd be out of town for the next three weeks and that she did not want to meet again until the end of January and then said that, verbatim"
    "plus at this point I am 50/50 on eloping so I think I need the vacay to revamp what I'm desiring for the big day haha."
    I then emailed Grace on 1/3 to book our end of the month meeting for your daughter to attend and we scheduled for 1/22. We received stationary proofs on 1/8 and I sent a reminder email on 1/17 to Laney about our rental meeting on the 22nd. On 1/24 I received an email stating that she was concerned with the caterer she had thought she was going to use (before she booked us) and wanted me to help her source another vendor that would be okay with her doing a potluck salad option as well. I contacted another vendor on 1/25 and they agreed to work with her idea as long as she signed a waiver saying they weren't responsible for outside food that was brought in. She then scheduled a tasting with them that my business partner attended. This was the first time the mother of the bride attended a meeting. I never met anyone but Laney or the groom. On 1/29 we exchanged 4 emails regarding finalizing rentals. On 1/30 Laney emailed me that she set the tasting appt for 2/6 at 5pm. On 2/2 the rental company sent over the contract. On 2/6 I let Laney know my business partner would be attending since I couldn't find childcare to cover at that time. She seemed very annoyed she hadn't heard from me in those few days between. My business partner called after the tasting and said it went great and everyone loved the food. On 2/7 I received a "wedding planning concerns" email stating that she did not feel she was getting her money's worth or the services listed. To be clear, we did MUCH MORE at this point in such a short amount of time because the wedding was in May. The whole wedding was essentially planned and booked except for the caterer. I then received multiple phone calls from someone claiming to be a lawyer friend of the family, who come to find out was actually your secretary. Who knew absolutely nothing about the details of the work we had done. To be honest, you probably haven't even been made aware of all of this until now. I have accepted that there are just simply some people you cannot make happy no matter how hard you try. I feel that is the case here. Best wishes.
