Capturing Moments We Can Revisit for a Lifetime

Mark and the Wynn Films team were absolutely incredible to work with. Your wedding day goes by so quickly, and when it’s over, you just wish you could relive it all again. That’s exactly what Mark gave us. His storytelling, pacing, and eye for meaningful moments, whether it was the dances, the candid shots, or the quiet exchanges between my husband and I, allowed us to feel all the emotions of our wedding day all over again.
We were also so impressed by how thoughtfully he captured our Hindu wedding ceremony. Not only did he choose the most meaningful Bollywood songs, but he highlighted the key moments and traditions that were important to both of us. It felt authentic, respectful, and incredibly personal.
I’ll always be grateful that I get to relive one of the most special weekends of my life through Mark’s videos. I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience and would recommend Wynn Films to anyone looking for a videographer with genuine artistry, creativity, and heart.

Wonderful Footage and People!

The absolute best in the game!!!! Wynn Films was the first vendor we booked and was the easiest decision. From day 1 his passion and enthusiasm was evident. Mark went above and beyond to capture the perfect moments from our wedding week & the product is incredible!!! Amazing to work with

Mark worked wonderfully with our photographer, was able to keep the day organized and moving even when things got a little off track and handled our last minute changes perfectly. I think this year turn around times are taking a little bit longer because of how many weddings are occurring this year but he communicated that to us and we didn't mind waiting because our final film was gorgeous. I would say his experience is well worth $3,000 rather than going with a budget videography company and getting a random person who is new to the industry, which I've seen happen to friends.

Short and Sweet Review

I don't have a lot to say but Wynn Films was truly, truly amazing to work with for my at home wedding. Such a good video

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding, so worth the price, so worth the wait for the video, and Mark was able to film my wedding personally. It was actually a fun experience during the day since we had such a small wedding, we really enjoyed the shoot, worked seamlessly with our photographer. Find ways to get video into the budget, 100% worth it.

Beautiful Film Wonderful Experience

From the moment we talked to Mark he put us at ease. He's not an over the top personality but he's calm, experienced, a pleasant sense of humor, polite and good at communication. Short and sweet wedding

Despite it being a small event with everything that's going on, Mark was willing to join us for our small safe celebration and still create something gorgeous out of it. Being able to save the money not doing a huge venue allowed us to take advantage of getting both photo and video and it was the best thing that could have happened. I personally would find a way to fit it in your budget and book before they become unavailable.

It was such a wonderful experience. I echo the sentiment of the other reviews in saying that he's great to work with, polite, professional, experienced. Worked so well with out photographer. Real down to earth experience

I don't get really caught up and all the technical talk or cinematics and all that. I just want brides reading this to know that we liked being treated with respect and professionally. Mark wasn't overly serious to the point where it felt like we were just a number, he was just really fun to work with, but he remained professional as well. Turn around took a while but being that we wanted his personal touch on it and he does the editing it was completely okay with us since he let us know upfront. He filmed a long day with us, wore masks like the other vendors and our families did, and we appreciated the respect he treated us with. Well-worth dishing out the money for something high quality like this and for his experience level.

Worth the Price

It was more than worth the cost to have them video our day despite the pandemic. It seems a lot of people are also thinking like us where it's good that family and friends that can't be at your wedding will get to see the video. Our preview looked awesome! Thank you for everything!!

Pandemic Perfection

I loved our DJ photographer and videographer. The Perfect Match

My fiance and I started looking for a videographer a while before wedding. When we met with Mark we were completely in love with his work and his attitude. Completely meshed with our personalities, lowkey, loves what he does, and his work is clean, modern and elegant. Amazing to work with

We just had a small wedding with everything that's been going on and Mark was amazing through the entire day. What really got us is the creativity used in making our preview with the lack of things happening throughout the day. For a short ceremony and backyard reception he collected amazing sound, audio, and footage to make something truly beautiful. And very easy to work with.

Cinematic Masterpiece

Loved the experience and our film

So we're sitting here with all the virus stuff going on really thinking about how grateful we are for having made to choice to have our wedding filmed. Life is precious and it's so nice to be able to look back and see grandparents, family members, friends and the entire day. If you don't book with them book with someone! Otherwise you'll regret it. Wynn Films in particular was our preferred choice and we loved it. We love the story they created. It's a contemporary feeling film, it tells a story and moved us emotionally to where we both cried. Mark picked all the perfect moments out to put in the film. Price was great at around $3300. Please book video. And Wynn would be my first option.

Choose them For Videography

So pleased with how the entire process went. We're pretty picky about communication, and finding someone that vibes with our personality and we're glad we pulled the trigger. For $3200 to get 4 different videos was an incredible deal. Mark was professional, prompt with his communication and is obviously skilled and professional. We loved the video and recommend them any day if you're having a wedding in Chicago.

Best wedding cinematography in Chicago!

Hands down I firmly believe that they're the best. We had our wedding downtown at the Cultural Center and Mark and his team were able to capture all the glamour and emotion of the day perfectly. I wanted it to LOOK PERFECT, that's why we booked Wynn Films, because we loved the videos we saw on the site. And they delivered. It was everything I could have wanted and we'll forever have this memory to share on our anniversaries.

Amazing Video

My first impressions when we met Mark was that he was really friendly, easy to talk with as far as discussing packages, and excited about filming our October wedding. Needless to say we made the right decision, absolutely loved working with him during the day. He was prompt, professional and energetic. We recently received our preview video and it was amazing, we may have watched it 20 times. He actually knew how to make us feel the emotion that we experienced during the day through his editing. Amazing experience

As a former wedding planner when it came time for my own wedding I knew exactly what I wanted and what I was looking for. I only like working with people that I know are consistent, do an amazing job and won't break my budget. Not to mention professionalism and enthusiasm working the actual wedding.

He showed up early, worked hard the entire day yet stayed out of the way and wasn't at all of noxious. And his shots resulted in an absolutely perfect video. My husband and I watched it so many times already, and my friends are asking me who made it.

Out of everything I really enjoyed that I could tell he loves what he does and it translates into amazing work.

So amazed with the video

We met with Mark when we were searching for wedding filmmakers in the suburbs. We live in the city and he was willing to meet in Oak Brook to help us with our tight schedule. We got prices, fell in love with his work and booked. In August he actually reached out to remind me to get him an itinerary for the day which was nice. Payment was due two weeks beforehand and I think that's the same for most vendors. He arrived 5 minutes early to our hotel, unlike our photographer who was late, and seemed excited throughout the day. Not over the top, just made us feel like he wanted to be there. He talked to us, got to know us (we're a bit shy and introverted) and took initiative to get certain shots he wanted. Which I'm glad he did because some of those shots turned out epic. And that brings me to my final point, the video was amazing. More than we could have hoped for. Nowadays everyone wants a video they can share online so we had multiple short videos that we shared on Facebook and IG. We got the first one a month after the wedding, then 90 days after. How game night with family changed our life...

I was referred to Mark by my sister-in-law. One night we were having a friendly family game night and the next moment I was watching one of the most amazing wedding videos I had ever seen. Sounds crazy, especially when it's not your wedding...but being as my turn to get married was coming up, I wanted the exact same trusted quality memories that she had.

We had a destination wedding. Mark caught everything.

It was so magical, every time we watch it, we get so full of the love and joy that we experienced for those two weeks with friends and family in Punta cana.

Mark has a very special skill for capturing moments to be brought back to life again and again.

Not only is Mark easy to work with, but he goes out of his way to make sure he understands what you want and need.

He takes special requests and is very generous with his time and pricing.

Mark is very easy to access and communicate with and is super flexible to your needs and desires.

At the end of the day, Mark goes above and beyond to make his clients happy.

He even sent us a trailer and it was...not to sound cheesy, but it was tear-jerking and beautiful.

Everyone who saw it felt blown away by the trailer. And friends and family that needed a videographer hired him.

He has never let me down and has created the same beautiful videos again and again.

I couldn't say enough great things about Mark.

He goes above and beyond and takes his time to get everything just right.

We have a fabulous 8 hour video that caught many days of celebration on the beach with 60 of our closest friends and family.

He creatively pieced it together as if you were there and never missed a beat.

We not only got a digital copy but he also gave us several CDs to give to the parents and still have them left over.

Hands down, I will ALWAYS hire Mark and he is the only videographer that I will ever refer.

When we first stumbled upon this little gem of a company we got a chance to meet with the owner Mark. As soon as we met I thought it was the right choice for us. Really liked his demeanor, his knowledge/experience. I saw their portfolio, loved the work, and my reel came out as good if not better. It turned out beautiful just the way I hoped it would. I love that he worked with my photographers without any interruption, the day went so smoothly. Everyone was happy and upbeat and somehow captured so much footage without me even knowing. The number one thing is now I get to share the incredible trailer with my family. It was one of the best decisions to have my wedding filmed in general. And the service I received made my decision all that better. Not only the service but the quality of the video was stunning. My grandfather had passed away after the wedding and now I actually can cherish that memory and dancing with him during the reception. Mark was willing to meet before the wedding and make sure he went over all details carefully, utmost professionalism. During the day he didn't take any attention away from us but was always on his toes filming anything important that was going on. If you are looking I would highly recommend booking with them.

Thanks guys you were maybe my favorite vendor. I would definitely book now if you are looking for video because my friend tried 6 months out and they were unavailable and now I know why. Great work. Our wedding was last spring at Patrick Haley Mansion and the day was kind of rainy but Mark still worked some magic along with the photographer to create some unbelievable footage. He was nice enough to stay a few minutes longer in order to get out first dance to we're so grateful for that. We just picked up our full video, amazing and modern looking. So happy with our choice to have Wynn Films for our wedding. First we thought that we would save a bit and skimp on video. But then we realized what's the point? My sister didn't have video and now we have no recollection of the day other than still photos. I just realized that I don't get how you can spend all this time, energy and money planning out this perfect day and then not even having it filmed. Plus it makes me jealous seeing everyone on social media sharing all their new wedding 'trailers' and such. Well that's what we got and it was awesome. I didn't expect it to look the way it did but I loved it, watched it maybe a hundred times now. Mark was fun during the day and got along really good with our photographers who were amazing too. He was calm, cool and collected during all the chaos and I'm very grateful.

When I was searching for a videographer, I was looking for someone who was capable of doing same day video edits. I'm so glad I came across Wynn Films. Mark was absolutely fantastic to work with. I wanted to surprise my husband and wedding guests, with a slide show presentation that segued into a same day video edit. Everyone loved it. I kept hearing my husband say oh wow. A lot of our guests came up to me, to tell me how pleasantly surprised they were. They didn't even know about same day video edits. Love that I chose Mark to film my wedding. For a short period of time I was hesitant to make room in the budget for video but after getting yelled at by my maid of honor and other friends I realized that I didn't want to regret it. I also wanted something I would be excited to re-watch over and over in the years to come, something exciting, not cheesy or boring. Well we got the trailer and we LOVE it. Mark was great during the course of the day too. Even during the morning with family members yelling at each other when we had things going wrong he maintained his composure and kept on creating nice shots. To me that's where his experience shines through. Last thing I wanted was someone new to weddings or THINKING they have experience messing up my day. Absolutely worth the quality, professionalism, creativity and peace of mind.

Maybe my best vendor. To be honest I chose Wynn Films initially to get a high quality finished video. Something 'cinematic' that looks a little like a movie. Mark did not disappoint. It wasn't cheesy at all, very contemporary and fresh feel. But the real treat was the care he took during the day, and the days leading up to the wedding to make sure he answered my never ending emails and questions. He really connected and took the time to get to know us so that in turn it may reflect in the video, and actually listened when we had a concern or idea. Just like the other reviews had stated, he was very covert during the day yet manage to capture so much. Please go with them, find room in the budget, you won't regret it.

We had Mark capture all 3 days (4 events) of our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice! During the entire weekend, he was so kind and asked questions before the events started to make sure he would capture the right moments at the right times - although, he had SOOOO much knowledge already of Hindu ceremonies which made us feel confident that he would capture all the important moments! He also worked well with our photographer which, from my research, was something that I definitely needed to look out for! We received our extended trailer just yesterday and it brings the biggest smile to my face every time I watch it (I've already watched it at least 6 times!). His editing of film to match the music, to really bring emotion to the reel, and making sure it really encompassed the whole weekend was just phenomenal. It started with out initial meeting with Mark. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Seemed to talk about what was important to us and didn't inundate us with useless technical talk like the others we met with did. I didn't want to hear about their 1080 camera or whatever, I don't really care lol. I just want it to look good. That's when I looked at Wynn Film's videos, fell in love with them and set up the meeting. He told me why he loves doing what he does, how he films, his experience and his ability to handle any situation that may come up. He's clean cut, looks like someone I'd trust to have film my wedding. I was right. He ran the day expertly and his assistant was great to work with. Just like the other reviews say, he wasn't in the way, let the photographer do his thing, but captured every little important moment. We got the highlight reel a couple weeks after and I think I've watched it a hundred times now lol. Just got the full video and we're glad we have something FUN & exciting to look back on.

Loved you guys from start to finish! I saw the crew running around all day getting shots, interacting with the bridal party, being energetic and it really made the day fun. Of course they worked well with the photographer, my bridal party and guests were actually kind of impressed. Thanks for staying upbeat even when I wasn't because of the rain. The reel and video still turned out amazing and I'm ever grateful I had you guys do my wedding. I sent you some referrals from my family so I'm praying you're not already booked. Great job and I first hand recommend booking them to do video for your wedding.

Definitely would recommend Wynn Films. They worked really well with my other vendors including the photographer to make the day go smoothly. I never had any issues with communication and they were prompt and professional during the day. I didn't want them to be too intrusive and the definitely capture EVERYTHING without ever being in the way. Worth the money as the finished video was BEAUTIFUL! Thank you!

Mark was awesome from the start when we filmed our Love Story (engagement shoot/interview) downtown all the way to delivering the video to us. I loved the shoot at millennium park and how he put our interviews together. Made us sound like we knew what we were doing lol. On the wedding day he worked so well with my photographer. We had a lot going on the whole night at Navy Pier and he didn't miss anything, and was professional the whole time. The final video and highlight reel looked like a movie! Had my entire family AND ME in tears lol. Wynn Films was great and I definitely made the right choice.

Awesome job guys! It was raining and pouring and yet all the vendors came together to make the day special for me. Wynn Films was great, both Mark and Mike were great, professional yet never got in the way and stayed in the background almost unnoticed. Not sure how the got so much footage but that must be a testament to the experience they have. The highlight reel was uploaded to me a couple weeks after and then a couple months after that we got the video. Both beautiful and tearjerking. Worth the price for peace of mind during your day, for fast delivery and for the quality. As a tip I would ask them to film the morning (getting ready) which I didn't and I'm regretting that.

They made my entire day really fun! Mark & Geraldine worked along with my photographers so well. The day was long (from 7am to 10pm) but they arrived on time, worked hard the entire time and kept us all relaxed. The reel turned out amazing, I didn't know it could look so much like a little movie. It wasn't corny at all, told a little story of the day, mixed in our voices/speeches, it was really nice. I know some vendors can be rude/annoying but no they were polite and fun and to me that was one of the most important things. Not only to have a video that looked good but someone fun and easy going during the wedding day. They never got in the way and Mark even stayed a little longer and surprised us by filming the 4th of July fireworks for us!

By far one of the best vendors we picked out. Communication from the beginning was great even though I was bit of a pain emailing Mark constantly. He was willing to meet with me at my location which was a big factor for me. I love flexibility. He was patient and not pushy while I bombarded him with my questions lol. The day was so smooth. The crew was prepared, knew what they were doing, and kept us engaged and smiling. Didn't really slow down the day at all and allowed the photographers to get what they needed. Love the video, really enjoyed Wynn Films. (Ask for a highlight reel, it's not listed in the packages but I was able to get that included since it's awesome to have a short video to share online)

Mark has been AMAZING through this entire process!! He was our videographer at our wedding with his assistant doing the photography, both so easy to work with.
I had originally met him at a bridal expo last summer. After a lot of debate if we wanted a videographer or not due to cost, I decided to give Wynn Films a call. We set up a meeting, he was early - (being late is a big turn off for me) so that was a good start. We started talking about our wedding and what we wanted. I liked his ability to be flexible and customize a package to our exact needs. We booked a love story as well, it's like an engagement shoot but for video and played it at the reception. It was a HUGE hit.

We just got the highlight reel of our wedding video and it was incredible. He didn't miss any important parts. Absolutely recommended!

Definitely worth the price. Fun to work with all day. I do photography myself and I was watching how they filmed all day and you could tell they knew what they were doing. Didn't delay the day at all, worked well with our photographer. Despite the tricky lighting and cold temperatures the professionalism remained perfect and they were always on their toes through our fast paced day.

Fun & easy to work with! Barely noticed them during the day yet the footage came out amazing. I convinced my husband that video would be important and we're both glad we got it. Friends are commenting on it too! Arrived on time, checked in before leaving (unlike the photographer) and knew what they were doing. Mark with Wynn Films was by FAR one of the best videographers we have seen in the Chicago area! We just received our highlight reel from our wedding and we were blown away!! Mark is personable, professional and we have been super impressed with Wynn Films! We LOVE our highlight reel and have received so many comments from friends and family on not only how the video brought them to tears but ALSO how amazing the film quality and sound are! I wasn't sure whether we should get a videographer, but my husband convinced me - and Wynn Films was more than worth it!

Thanks, Mark, for capturing our special day and giving us something so amazing that we can look back on! We can't wait to see the full video!

Can't say enough wonderful things about our experience with Wynn Films. From the time we met with Mark he made us feel at ease and collaborated with us in order to get a feel for our personalities and what we were envisioning in a video. He was early on the wedding day and was never a distraction or in the way. His equipment was light and didn't invade the privacy/mood of the ceremony yet he was able to get great angles and shots even though we didn't notice him! His humor and ability to work with the photographer was second to none. And to top if off the trailer we received was gorgeous. Thank you, will be recommending you for sure!

We used Wynn Films for our wedding in June and couldn't be happier with our decision. I was told that the change of ownership would provide for a smooth experience from start to finish and that held true. We met with Mark at a bridal show and received a small discount when we signed the contract as well, which was a plus. Got to know him during our engagement shoot which made it a more comfortable experience on the wedding day with a familiar face there instead of a stranger. Fun, polite and never in the way. That helped because there were three photographers and we didn't want them to clash or crowd us. The video turned out beautiful, nothing cheesy just elegant and looks like a movie! Did not order a highlight reel but now contemplating going back to get that because the full video is very long and a reel might be easier to share. Very excited to have our memories saved.

Thank you for being a part of such a special day and making the entire process a breeze. I know I was apprehensive to pull the trigger but it was probably the best decision we made. This is the review i wish I would have seen before booking. Most people find Wynn films because of their very reasonable prices, especially compared to their competition. Mark was very responsive when we first contacted him and all the way through the planning to the wedding. He showed up early and left late on the big day. He sent an email shortly after the wedding with an estimated timeline (5 months for complete package to come back- preview, 6 min video, full edited day). Seemed reasonable, no problem with us. We got our one minute preview within that full timeframe (about 4 months after estimated, but still.) We loved our preview, worth the wait in our opinion. We waited several weeks after the estimated timeline date to contact him again. Started taking up to two weeks to hear back when we would message. We then started getting excuse after excuse for why we didn’t have our videos. We ended up receiving our full edited day about 11 months after our wedding. Super impressed with quality of film. Ended up being over 2 hours of video, but still no 7 min video. Cue more excuses. Needless to say, our first anniversary came and went.. and three weeks later we finally got the last piece. We would hire him again for the quality of the video and the price IF we were fully warned it could take over a year for everything to come back and IF while we were getting frustrated waiting that we didn’t see videos being posted for weddings that took place after ours. This is primarily a one man show, but he needs to learn to be more upfront and honest to continue to run this business.

We hired Mark for our Indian wedding events. He was great when we were doing the research, up until we signed the contract. His price was much lower than anyone else. Once we signed the contract, it became difficult to get a hold of him and when we ran into him at a friend's wedding, a couple months before ours, it was as if he didn't know who we were. Kind of odd but we figured he was just busy. He was on time to all our events and we had no problems there.

But from that point on, it was one excuse after another why he didn't have our highlight video ready and it took ages and constant calling/texting to get our whole video. We talked to our friends who had hired him and they had the same experience and were actually given the same excuses over a year earlier. He injured himself, there was death in the family, he had to go out of town due to family emergencies, had too many weddings this year, etc. It took almost 7 months to get our highlight video and almost a year for our wedding video. And the DVDs we got were horrible quality. Not the shooting but the resolution. It looks pixelated on our 43" TV! Just a nightmare to get something we already paid for.

I was surprised to see my previous review deleted so here I am again. If you are looking for a professional videographer who responds to your requests and delivers a video in a timely manner then mark is NOT for you. If you don't mind waiting 9 months then he's worth the money for the product. In our contract it specified 3 months and we waiting triple that. It was not until the threat of a lawyer that mark did indeed deliver. He never sent us a highlight reel or anything during those 9 months despite my several emails. I am happy to hear that others have had good experiences but I am truly shocked that it could possibly be the same person. I'm also surprised that a wedding that occur just one week after ours managed to have a 5 star review. It seems he did not treat all clients the same. I am so relieved that he actually delivered a video and was truly worried we wouldn't get one for a while. I'd choose a new vendor and wouldn't recommend.

Waited over a year for my wedding video and it wasn’t close to a professional video. Camera shakes, fast forwards, background noise, would of been better recorded from my IPhone.

The time before and the day of the wedding Wynn Films was professional. However after the wedding he promised the video to be done three months later. From that point on he kept promising the video was done and kept coming up with excuses. About six months later he gave a tracking number that didnt work and claimed he'd check on it. He would only respond to emails about once a month and wouldnt return phone calls. We finally received our video over a year later and that was because our lawyer gave him a final warning before we would go to court. The video in the end was nice but not worth the hassle. Had he just been honest about why it was taking so long I would have understood but he has bad communication issues.

Unfortunately, our experience with Wynn Films was not a positive one. While the quality of our video is good and we got what we asked for, the hassle to get our video was not worth it. After our wedding, we were told we would get our finished video in about 3 months. After that time period passed, we tried to reach Mark numerous times over the next 3 months. Never once did he call us back and rarely he would respond to emails. We finally received our video after nearly 6 months, but only after we threatened legal action. At the end of the day, if he would have just communicated with us, I would have been perfectly happy - even if there were delays in perfecting our video. The lack of communication was very unprofessional and created a hassle for my husband and myself. I'm very relieved to have gotten the finished product...but in my opinion I would not recommend using this service due to the hassle.

It's 5 months after our wedding and we still have not received the video after numerous promises and the excuses never end including back issues, family members dying and the latest was a bogus tracking number. Just like the other reviews, he will not return your calls and only send emails after multiple requests. At this point i hope we even get a video! Find someone else, don't use Mark. Use this and the other reviews as a warning!!!

We had a great first meeting with Wynn films and were referred to them by our photographer who used them for her wedding 4 years ago. We signed our contract about 8 months in advance and agreed that our December wedding video would be done end of January to beginning of February. They missed February all together and promised Saint Patrick’s Day that it would be finalized and mailed shortly after. I didn’t hear back after numerous attempts to get ahold via phone and email until April. Wynn Films wouldn’t even call my husband or I back. Instead I got an email saying May 30th sorry for the delay but they were extremely backed up. Again, they missed the May 30th deadline and I was lied to about the video being shipped multiple times in June. I finally received the video beginning of July and as a convenience he gave us raw footage. Apparently he didn’t realize we paid for that footage in our contract so it wasn’t like he was doing anything special. After watching 2 hours (parts being fast forwarded) of what I thought was supposed to be a “30 minute highlight reel” and noticing that the entire ceremony, and most of the evening wasn’t even edited AND inappropriate comments were put into the video from drunken guests I was furious. I was told I would be compensated but didn’t know how much and that my video would be fixed. I’m still waiting to hear back a month later and not one phone call has been returned to my husband or I through this entire process.
