I done many wedding at the hotel , the service is great, many amenities, the food is amazing, great service and beautiful hotel , my company Eleganzza Events love working at the hotel .

Everything we expected. Special services, great food, amazing attention and Pleasing. Loved every part of how great we were treated.

My husband and I had what I can only describe as a fantasy wedding at the Wyndham Grand Rio Mar with all of our friends and family. I cannot say enough good things about this resort and the staff who run it, but I will try! If you are considering this place as a wedding venue and are prioritizing having a great time with your loved ones or just each other, this is the place. We'd vacationed here a year prior and were so impressed by everything we experienced that we decided to bring our entourage of family and friends here for our wedding.

We went into planning this event with an invitation mindset of, "Come vacation with us... also you're welcome to swing by our wedding on Saturday." We were very much not looking to escape our family and friends, but to spend as much quality time with them as possible. If this matches your wedding philosophy, read on.

Here's a quick rundown of the things we really loved about holding a wedding here:
• It's beautiful - This resort is stunning. The pictures on their website are nice, but you really have to see it in real life. Every corner of the hotel, even the stairwells, was designed to be photo-worthy. The gardens and pools are gorgeous and very well maintained, just walking around is a nice vacation activity by itself. This also makes for a lot of great photo opportunities for your wedding. We have lots of great shots of us and our guests from our stay there.
• It's fun - The Wyndham is a well-oiled machine for having a good time. Everyone vacations differently— some people like adventure trips, some want to play in the ocean, some want a boozy poolside lounge. Because the Wyndham caters to many different types, you can wake up and decide on any given day what you want to do. The breadth of onsite offerings and their partnership with Group Services makes planning fun activities easy, which was a bonus draw for our guests as well.
• The food - Holy heck. I'm not sure what manner of black magic goes on in the kitchens here but whatever they're doing is working. I have not yet had a bad bite of food at any of the places to eat here. Knowing they were going to provide great food at our wedding made planning a destination wedding easy— no tastings were required, and we knew we were never going to have to worry about coordinating yet another vendor for catering.
• Vendor recommendations - Not local? No problem, they have a list of vendors they recommend. This actually made planning even easier since we weren't really hunting down people and reading dozens of online reviews. We wound up with an amazing DJ thanks to their help on this one!
• Room block - Yes, you can get a room block here. The staff was really helpful in getting this set up, and doing so made the trip accessible to many of our guests.

I absolutely MUST give special thanks to the staff at the Wyndham. Every single person we worked with made everything wonderful and easy from the beginning, which took away so much of the stress and doubt of planning a wedding.
Rebecca (wedding coordination and catering) - First and foremost, huge thanks to Rebecca and her assistant Kimberly, who were responsible for wedding coordination and catering. Rebecca did everything from getting our dates locked in to helping plan our meals to coordinating the events the day of. She was on-site at our wedding to make sure everything went perfectly, and it did! We would have been a mess without you, thank you so so very much!
Amarilis (conference services) - Thank you for helping us get our wedding supplies and decorations received to the right place ahead of the wedding. Amarilis gave very helpful and clear instructions on how best to ship items to Puerto Rico. This made a lot of the "destination" part of our wedding go smoothly.
Moraima (sales manager) - Thanks to Moraima for handling contract information and making payments easy for us.
Samuel (room block coordination) - Thanks to Samuel for demystifying the process of getting a room block for our guests— the room block made the difference in being able to afford attending for some of them. Samuel was extremely communicative from the time we requested how to do this through to any deadlines and onward. Very very helpful.
Rene (guest services) - We had nice guest packages that we'd shipped to Puerto Rico, and Rene made sure these all got to our guests at the hotel. No errors or complications.

I start this venue will forever be in my heart this was the best place for anyone to ever get married the place is just breathtaking beyond gorgeous in front of the ocean. the guest service is beyond words they will help you and assist you in anyway possible this place is so cleaned so beautifully kept everything is so amazing the food is beyond delicious. The rooms are so spacious and thank you and your wedding party can get dressed and we have extra event rooms where you can also holster parties the ballrooms are beyond gorgeous. I don’t think there could’ve been ever been another ballroom to make your wedding such a beautiful place. Shout out to Rebecca the Wedding Planning at the resort she can help you and assist you as well. This place not only offers a beautiful place for you to host your wedding but your invitees will be more than happy to stay there the resort not only offers for you to stay there but there have villas that can accommodate your guests on the premises which is a short distance from the resort so everyone can stay in the villas or the resort and be together the resort also has wonderful pool‘s hot tubs and casinos that all your guests will be able to have fun.

The made our stay and guest stay wonderful and our wedding perfect and the food for reception dinner was amazing!

We decided to have a destination wedding in Puerto Rico, after our wedding was cancelled due to covid back in Jan 2021. Like many other brides who had to reschedule their weddings due to pandemic- I was a stressed the entire time…
I cannot thank Brenda the sales manager-enough for not only making my DREAM wedding come true, but also for the constant communication throughout the entire process. Planning a wedding is stressful as it is, I had no idea how much harder it was going to be with it being a destination wedding (mind you- my fiancé and I had never been to Puerto Rico so we were putting all trust in Brenda and Wyndham team). I’m sure there are other beautiful halls to get married at, but the service that is provided at Wyndham is out of this world!! Thank you so much!

Even with the curfew in place, the hotel made a lot of accommodations. I really appreciate YAJAIRA HERNANDEZ She made sure everything went smooth for us.

We just had a wedding on Valentines at the Wyndham and the experience was nothing short of magical working with Diana Sylvestry and her team!

The wedding guests were blown away by the beauty of the ceremony and the ballroom space.

The resort was gorgeous! We stayed in a presidential suite with breathtaking views. Free cabana rental with our suite. The Concierge was very professional. And the complimentary margaritas was everything! The dinner at Palio was delicious. The staff was phenomenal.

I just started planning my wedding 1 month ago and the process has run smoothly. From the moment I met Monique I know she was going to surpass my wedding planning expectations. She is very positive and will let you know what's possible and what's not from the start. She is very responsive to my emails and is very easy to work with. Excited to keep planning my wedding with her.

My experience with Wyndham Grand Rio Mar has been the best ever! I chose this hotel for the beautiful deck by the beach to have my wedding and it was the best choice. Planning with the Wedding Coordinators Monique Perez and Charlotte De Jesus was not even difficult at all. Even though I was all the way in California the wedding planning went very well and very smooth must I say. Charlotte was wonderful and all that I asked for the wedding was all satisfyingly presented. It was exactly how I wanted it to be and it didn’t even rain that day which made everything perfect. All the details and everything from the cake, DJ, photographer, the food which was great and of course our Reverend Aran Santana, who married us and also wore the same wedding theme color! Awesome, right?! Everyone at Wyndham treated us very well. As soon as we arrived on Thursday June 15, 2017, my husband and I immediately met with Reverend Aran and Charlotte to prepare for our big day the following day and must I mention that they were both such kind hearted people. Then to our rooms! We got the Ocean Suite with a connecting room at the end of the hallway, which fit all my 23 guests at one time. The rooms were clean, spacious, updated and just beautiful. The fourth floor ocean view was obstructed with trees but nonetheless we were still able to see the whole view of the pool and the beach. We were greeted with a gourmet cheese platter and red wine when we got there. On Sunday, there was champagne and white chocolate covered strawberries waiting. I am extremely impressed with the service Wyndham Grand has provided me and my entire family for my wedding weekend. There was 25 of us and we vacated both the Wyndham and Margaritaville and I must say everyone had a blast! Thank you very much for everyone at the Wyndham for treating me and my family with such a deserving treatment, specially Charlotte who I heartedly thank for making my dreams come true! MY WEDDING DAY WAS PERFECT!!!

Wyndham has been amazing thus far in our wedding planning. My fiancé and I stayed at this resort in April (where he proposed on their beach!). Friendly staff, great accommodations, and a BEAUTIFUL (affordable) resort! We will be visiting every year!!!

Charlotte is an exceptional woman. When we went out to Puerto Rico last year to look at hotels, Charlotte had a positive attitude and showed us EVERY option we would be able to go with. Charlotte is VERY responsive and definitely puts me at ease knowing that no matter the task or question I have, she will be able to answer it. We are excited to be having our wedding at the Wyndham, and have our family and friends there. The countdown is SO CLOSE! :)

Wow! Where do I begin.. Monique is simply amazing she and charlotte always are so responsive and ensure that everything is handled properly. They deal with my million questions. I can't wait 7/27/17 is the day!

I'm beyond happy with the service Wyndham Grand Rio Mar Beach Resort & Spa has provided me through the first steps of the planning process. Monique has been exceptional to work with and has had my best interest at heart when discussing options for different aspects of my wedding and reception.

I did my wedding in Rio Grande and I picked this hotel for these reasons:

1. Location: The hotel is in the perfect location if you want to venture towards the east coast of Puerto Rico. In my case, the wedding venue was a bit south of the hotel, but very close. My guests came for more than just a weekend, and I wanted to pick a place that was easy to drive to and from. The pool is fantastic!
2. Customer Service: I was attended by Aurea who is in charge of big events or groups ( I think). she was FABULOUS!! She was very responsive to our inquiries and very patient with all of our questions. She is great! If you want to have your wedding in Puerto Rico, I highly encourage you to talk to her!
3. Price: Best price I found in the area! and it included so much it was a no brainer.
4. Food in the hotel: You HAVE to try the Iguanas Pub restaurant. The food is amazing and the story of how the chef created the menu is very interesting.

Overall, this hotel was a great choice. Our guests loved it so much a lot of them are already planning to return next year. We are considering going every year for our anniversary!

The Wyndham Grand Rio Mar, is a perfect choice for any couple wishing to get married on the island. The hotel and its grounds are breathtaking and the staff are always pleasant from the moment you arrive. One of the best assets to this hotel is one of the catering manager who I actually like to refer as an Event Ambassador! Her name is Monique Perez and words cant begin to suffice her level of professionalism, her guidance and overall patience. Every single time I called (and I called quote a few times) she ever so pleasant and is definitely a perfect representation of the hotel. She treated me as if I was a VIP client and that in itself speaks volumes as sometimes as a bride we can be overlooked for a larger event or conference constantly taking place at larger venues/hotels such as this one. She troubleshoots with ease and a you can rest at ease with Monique and her team by your side. This would be one of your easier decisions during your planning process.

Monique Perez is simply AMAZING!!!! I could write a book about how wonderful she has been. There's nothing that I've asked of her that she hasn't exceeded my expectations. She's allowed me to be very involved with my vendors selection but holding my hand every step of the way. I trust her vision and expertise. I'm constantly telling her that she's my favorite person in PR. While I've visited PR and the Wyndham, I have the added bonus of "My Monique" for this momentous occasion. I'll be celebrating my 20th Wedding Anniversary and I'm excited to share this moment with my 20 guest, Monique, and the entire Wyndham staff.

Monique was very responsive and informative in helping us plan and choose our wedding venue and reception site. She was also very pleasant and patient with all of our questions.

Charlotte and her team are AMAZING! I cant say enough about this woman. She carried out ever detail I wanted and put me at ease even when I was indecisive. Great place! Everyone was so nice and helpful! Our wedding ceremony was here and everything was perfect! Charolette (wedding coordinator) did the best job ever making me feel comfortable in the city and making our ceremony everything I wanted. The resort is great! Please go eat at Palio restaurant (Italian food). The staff was so nice and kind. The beach was amazing and there are plenty of things to do, snorkiling, and jetskiing. If you are able to leave the resort, it is a must go visit El Yunque Rainforest.

The Wyndham Rio Mar couldn't have been a better venue for our wedding. Getting married on a beautiful beach at sunset is a dream that my husband and I lived. The beach location is stunning, the food is delicious, the cake is divine! Everyone at the Rio Mar was extremely helpful and accommodating, especially the Catering and Wedding Coordinator, Charlotte.

I would highly recommend this hotel to have your wedding. Everyone was extremely nice and helpful and they did an amazing job from start to finish! We were treated like VIPs from the moment we arrived at the hotel.

Our wedding at Rio Mar was PERFECT!!! It was small and low key, exactly what we wanted. Monique, our wedding planner, was on top of her game. We could not have pulled it off without her. She made planning and having our destination wedding enjoyable and as stress free as possible. Her and her staff were so accommodating with all our requests. With my busy life, I would never dream of planning a wedding without a coordinator and Monique was excellent. She was professional, never pushy about their services, and went out of her way to let me do as much as I wanted on my own and with outside vendors. I was especially grateful to her when she helped find us a room last minute when the hotel was sold out and even got us a discount! I was a very laid back bride so her guidance and help was very welcomed and needed. We originally planned an outdoor ceremony and reception at the ocean front deck but it ended up raining so I so was glad Monique had a plan B all along, which ended up working out perfectly. She was so helpful on the day of the wedding, timing out the ceremony and final details that I hadn't thought of. She even helped my maid of honor decorate the room since we were behind due to the weather and last minute venue change. All of the staff was polite and went out of their way to help us, even though they had a lot of events going on since it was New Years Eve. The main caterer/bar tender went out of his way to make sure my groom and I always had a drink, and checked on us the entire reception and even afterwards, which was greatly appreciated. The food was incredible, and the cake is seriously the best cake I've ever had. And not just me, all of our guests raved about how delicious the food was and couldn't wait to have the rest of the cake the next day (we had a cake party). I definitely recommend their services. I would absolutely recommend the Rio Mar venue and staff to anyone who wants to have a destination wedding in paradise.

Great venue and amazing service. We are having the rehearsal dinner,and post-wedding brunch there and the attention to detail has been superb. The Chef and his staff including the Associate Director of Events are amazing!!! They have been a real pleasure to work with and have facilitated the coordination of other services as well as provided many options. So looking forward to the date, just a couple of days! We also had our room block here and the experience has been very positive !

We were married on 11/22/19 and choosing a location was not easy for me as we live in Indiana. I toured the venue in September 18’ so i was familiar with the set up. Many factors went into choosing this location. 1. Their staff was very responsive with questions; prior to choosing and during the whole planning process. 2. Location it is about 30/40 min from airport and about an hour from old San Juan and about 10 from el yunque rainforest. 3. The resort could meet the needs for my 120 guests. All needs could be met here for kids adults and elderly. Half of our guests stayed in the hotel the rest rented sports on the resort (problem presented as many could not use main pool at hotel if they did not have a wrist band, but the beach is public and it all worked out)
Yajaira and o’neilly was our main contact here and they were very professional. The resort is huge and there many restaurants near by.
One complaint would be that when the ceremony had to switch from out door to indoor many of our guests had a hard time finding the space where the ceremony was. We were told someone would be there helping and apparently their wasn’t . It was confusing to guests, also we were told a wheel chair would be available for the grooms father and that is another thing that was forgotten.
Overall i am very happy with the service and all the things the resort was able to provide for my husband and i and we would definitely come back to stay at the Wyndham.

Monique & Charlotte are an amazing team to work with. They are very responsive unlike other resorts I tried working with that were on "island time". These ladies went over every detail and accommodated menu changes I made ect without any hiccups during the entire process. Highly recommend these two!

Charlotte, my wedding coordinator took care of me live no one ever could! She is awesome as what she does. Speaking with her will make you (the bride!) feel stress free and as if everything is going to be alright. The hotel is beautiful and accommodating. Everything you contract is agreed on, and there are no surprise bills. The location is beautiful, and it comes with a back up plan if you want the venue outdoors and it rains on the day (like it did on mine :( but they made it work). For a destination wedding, this place is so worth what you're paying for, and its not overpriced. Charlotte will additionally hook you up with great recommendations for other services that the hotel might not include. Highly highly recommended.

My wedding coordinator, Monique Perez, has been great...patient, attentive and very helpful! I have yet to visit the resort but I have friends who rant and rave about it's beauty and grandeur. I can't wait for my special moment!!

The people who helped with out wedding were great. We were running late and there was a threat of rain but everything went very well. Charlotte and Monique made our PR wedding come true and were the best.

In addition to the Wyndham Rio Mar being an absolutely beautiful location for me and my husband's wedding ceremony and reception, the people that helped us organize and plan the event were absolutely fantastic.

Our wedding coordinator/organizer/planner Charlotte was absolutely amazing in working with us. She was able to get every request handled and made both our ceremony and reception every better than we could have imagined. She helped to create and absolutely amazing day that the both of us will always remember. My husband and I couldn't have asked for anything more.

We would definitely recommend this venue for anyone who was looking for resort for their destination wedding. We had an absolutely fantastic experience with them.

Monique and the rest of the team made it easy to prepare our wedding venue from across the US in California. They have answered all our questions and have been very transparent. I would like to see more pictures of the venue we chose as well as pictures of the food and cake designs. Looking forward seeing the resort in person soon!

I have just started planning my 2018 nuptials with Monique, and she has been such a pleasure to work with! I have had many questions, and she has kindly and patiently answered all of them. Ms. Perez has been very informative and she was one of the reasons I decided to book my dream wedding with this resort.

I had a beautiful wedding, the place is breathtaking. Customer service was excellent. My only problem was I hired someone to bring items to set up my wedding ceremony, after the wedding we went to the reception. 1 hour later I asked about the vendor items in the garden and was told they don't know. 2 days later I was told it was thrown away. The only thing I got back was the runner that was never used. If you get married here have someone to pick up items as soon as ceremony is done, because it will go missing. I know it was not thrown away, that stuff was not cheap. That was disappointing for me, because I love everything about that place.

Monique Perez has been a great help during this process. She's really the reason I chose this venue. She's been responsive to all of my emails and phone calls and has answered my "millions" of questions. It's difficult planning a destination wedding. She's put me at ease and I look forward to continuing this process. Everything is going great with the ceremony / wedding planning!

My only issue with this resort is the process of dealing with securing room blocks. After reading the contract, it's seems the bride and groom are ultimately responsible for any issues. I'm still in the thick of dealing with this. We may not end up securing the room block, which is unfortunate for our guests.

I am in the process of planning my wedding here and when I tell you Monique Perez is the BEST PERSON to work with here!! I tell no lies, she responds all the time and if not immediately! I can not wait to continue my process with her. She is extremely helpful!

This is a very nice resort, however there were only two restaurants open when I stayed the week for my wedding, which were also very expensive. You would need to rent a car, or else you will be stuck here with only a casino to amuse you at night!!! They do have a nice golf corse, pretty beach, and clean pools. I married on the beach there, which is public...and it was very nice. Another plus is the rain forest is right across the highway. con: everything gets charged to your room bill, so it is easy to lose track of how much money you are spending!!!

We decided to have our wedding at Rio Mar because this is were we got engaged and I have great memories of the resort. The day of the wedding everything went smoothly and everything was set up just like I dreamed it would be. I do have to admit that the price was somewhat high for a simple beachside ceremony that lasted all of 30 minutes.
Charlotte set everything up for us; she was lovely and made me feel at ease.

Charlotte did a great job. My only complaint, they change their restaurant menus weekly. I picked the Palio Restaurant for my wedding dinner and only a few days prior I was informed that restaurant would not be open on the night of my wedding. We didn't want Chinese or Puerto Rican food for the evening, so we had to take our wedding party of 10 off site.

I’ll start with the good: her name is Rebecca Castro and she is the head catering services and was an extremely helpful wedding coordinator. I want to be clear that Rebecca was fantastic, responsive, and professional- working with and through some policies that honestly left a very sour taste in my mouth and in the ones of the bridal party. She herself was very transparent, tried to be flexible in the ways she could and was honest in the areas she couldn’t. She was very calm even when I got upset- again over some policies that were not of her fault. Food was fantastic, servers and bar staff amazing according to my guests.

So let me go on to the bad. The service itself was absolutely not worth the insane amount of money that was the stay. Aside from Rebecca’s great services there are barely any amenities for the bride/groom. No bridal suite to get ready in, upon check in- nothing extra for the bride/groom considering how much revenue you’re bringing in for the hotel with guest stays, the wedding itself, your own stay. We didn’t get our luggage until about 2 hours after check in, couldn’t check in until 4pm. Late check out is based only upon availability- sucks when your wedding is over at midnight. The tray that was brought in about an hour after check-in time had a moldy strawberry- no corkscrew was brought to open up our bottle of wine. They brought chocolate covered strawberries into our room with champagne which was nice- cleaning staff NEVER cleaned our room, it was a mess, bed unmade how we left it before we went down for our wedding. No fresh towels considering we paid $800 for 2 nights. Couldn’t find a place to reheat some chicken after the wedding- no one could give us a straight answer.

Don’t even get me started on the destination wedding “room block” person. I won’t mention her name because it would be considered defamation but she was HORRENDOUS. Incredibly unprofessional, NEVER would get back to me, super inflexible, I would call, email, she would (if she ever got back to me) say “I’ll draft something up and send to you” literally 3 months passed and NOTHING. Unfortunately as I was in the process of losing my father during my wedding planning so I enlisted my mom for help while I was in the hospital with my dad- she never got back to my mom either. She didn’t get back to me until I called and by the grace of God got her manager. THEN she emails me a month before the wedding asking if I wanted the room blocks that she otherwise never took an active role in helping me explore options and put in her email that I needed to get back to her in 2 days. So ironic considering she ghosted me for about 4 months total.

DO NOT STAY HERE. Have your wedding here because Rebecca is amazing but do not have your guests, or you actually stay here. Not worth the heinous amount of money they charge you for such inflexibility and poor service.

Responsiveness was so to start off with but things got a lot better. I am booked and deposits are made looking forward to them fulfilling all their promises in making my day special

The Wyndham is a Beautiful Resort nestled on a Beautiful Beach and is listed as having a Casino. Neither of us are Puerto Rician, so this was a true Destination Wedding. We booked the venue prior to being able to visit multiple venues to ensure we had the perfect date.
The Ceremony was set on a Beautiful Beach with a spectacular view. The reception was less than 50 feet away from the Ceremony on a Lovely Deck with an ocean view and trees to cover the winds. Everything really is beautiful with this venue.

The main issue for us was the sales team. After booking the event the then Catering Manager ensured us that we DID NOT need a Wedding Planner and that she would be there to ensure everything goes as needed. She was the ONLY member of the sales team to ever contact us other than when bills were being paid. A year before the Wedding she was promoted to Senior Catering & Conferences Manager and ensured us that she would still be able to help the wedding go smoothly. Her replacement never once contacted us and was never seen the entire week we were at the resort for the Wedding. To cap it off, the hotel had a Manager there for the Catering on the wedding day to make sure the food was good, but left before the even the cake was served due to her receiving questions of who was in charge and her getting uncomfortable and not being prepared to assist. They promised we did not need a wedding planner and then we had to direct everything for the wedding and almost forgot to even throw the bouquet. Even prior to the reception starting, we lined up with our bridal party and parents for our grand entrance and absolutely no one helped initiate this - to the point where my father (the bride) had to take the microphone and start announcing everyone walking in.

Another issue we have with the venue is we took into consideration their recommendation for the DJ, which was easily the worst MC and wedding DJ ever (Please be sure not to hire SAK Entertainment) and we can't even review them on Wedding Wire. To the Wyndham's credit the other Vendor we took their recommendation on was the florist and she was great (Patricia Lorraine Torres).

The food was delicious at the tasting, but not at all prepared similarly on the Wedding day (perhaps there should be a tasting much closer to the wedding than a year out...). The food was still great. Service for the rehearsal, reception, and goodbye brunch was great by all the staff!

Overall, if you are going to book this venue, please be sure to have a wedding planner. The venue really is beautiful and the food was good. And for those aspects we would recommend it, but do not be prepared for great sales service.

All I have to say is just watch your bill. I was lied to multiple times and very disappointed with rio mar. The resort is very nice the beach is even better but the extra fees that I kept finding on my bill were disappointing.

We are very upset. I am usually very understanding and our wedding was with all the covid mess, but they canceled our wedding just a couple months before the big day with all our guests plane tickets and rooms booked. The wedding was not just canceled because of covid but because they had a larger event come through this happened to us twice. The first time they put another group over ours that sold out the hotel which then got figured out but then they had the puerto rico basketball league bubble event over the time of our wedding and they just gave us our money back nothing else. Very very upset. I understand covid but this is not okay. We felt like our wedding did not matter at all the entire time. We lost all our vendor deposits since we are not from puerto rico. We were told it was an upper management decision but be aware that if a larger even comes through it will probably take priority.

It has very beautiful scenery, but the prices are way too high and theres little things they dont tell you until you have already signed. The food it is the best. They dont have security so i had to leave someone on watch because people would enter my reception and ceremony to touch things without permmision. And if you choose tis venue make sure that theres no other wedding the same day, because when the coordinator of the other wedding saw where my ceremony was going to be, he wanted the ceremony of his wedding where mine was going to be, there for they wanted to rush my wedding ceremony so they could have theirs. They told me the ceremony would start without the bride and groom if they didnt hurry up. I chose this place because of the scenery but its not worth it in the end.

The one thing I regret about my wedding is having it here. The location is beautiful but the staff are unhelpful and rude. A few days before my wedding, PR changed the COVID laws for events. Instead of being helpful, the staff were hard to reach and seemed like they didn’t care. It got even worse day of when our planner, Claudia, wasn’t even at the venue and didn’t tell us. We were also not told that the plug for our outdoor microphone had to be specially turned on for a fee. I was in tears right before walking down the aisle. I didn’t realize having a helpful venue was so important for day of coordination until my wedding day. There are so many beautiful beaches and venues in PR - my advice is to choose a different one.
