Wychmere saved my wedding. As any bride understands, planning and executing a wedding can be particularly stressful, and this year the stress of planning and orchestrating a wedding in the midst of a pandemic has been unique and challenging. Wychmere went above and beyond to make sure I had the day I wanted (albeit, modified) and it was more than I ever could have imagined. Brooke, one of the coordinators, was warm, kind, savvy and truly made our experience one to remember. The entire staff at Wychmere made our wedding, and our guests, feel safe, comfortable and luxurious. The food is amazing and they truly take care of everything. What could have been a difficult day (as we moved our wedding up 6 weeks to a new date with a significantly reduced guest count) was instead one of the best days and weekends of our lives. The warmest thank you to Wychmere for working with us, taking great care of us and making our wedding such a special day. I highly recommend working with the Wychmere, not only for their quality staff, but for the beautiful venue, setting and feel of the space.

Best day of our lives!
I could not recommend Wychmere enough. They were the first and only venue we toured, and we fell in love immediately. They were great with answering all of our questions and getting the planning process started. We worked with Mary Kane as our event coordinator who was incredible. Everything turned out better than I ever could have imagined! Wychmere made the planning process so smooth and easy, despite wedding planning being a stressful experience, I am so grateful we had them! We chose Dune as our venue space and we are still receiving compliments from guests about how beautiful it was. The space is so beautiful you can't even put it into words! Every detail was executed perfectly, the bartenders were great, the staff was excellent, I couldn't have asked for anything better. The food was so incredible we are still receiving compliments about that as well!! They handled everything perfectly and my day of bridal assistant, Calla, was amazing as well. Mary made everything so seamless and answered all of our questions. It feels like everybody went above and beyond and everything was handled so professionally. We could not be happier with our experience and we are so happy we chose Wychmere!!

Wedding venue of our dreams!
My dream was to have a Cape Cod wedding, and Wychmere Beach Club made that dream come true! We had our wedding in August (2023) in the Harbor Room/Hydrangea Room. We worked closely with Lindsay Sullivan and Heather Rumul, both of whom made the wedding planning process as stress free as possible. Our wedding day was perfect! The entire day was smooth and problem free. We were able to enjoy every second of the day because the Wychmere team is so amazing. Everything was 10 out of 10 (food, drinks, service). Also, the day of, Jan, was an absolute angel. She made sure my husband & I were cared for the entire day/night.

Best night of my life
I just had my wedding at Wychmere Beach Club in the Dune Room and I truly cannot recommend it enough. Everything about our day was absolutely stunning, not to mention everything ran 100% smoothly. All of the staff and coordinators go so above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of and you truly feel like you are in the best hands when booking with Wychmere. Truly had the best night of my life at the most beautiful venue. Also I had so many guests make comments to me about how amazing their meals were and had nothing but amazing things to say about the way they were cared for as well. 100% recommend booking the Dune at Wychmere!

Our DREAM Venue! ✨🩵💍🌊
Wychmere was the most gorgeous venue for our wedding this past August! Their new venue Dune had only been open for 3 weeks prior to our tour and my husband and I knew immediately it was the perfect venue for us! The rooftop view of the beach and ocean was breathtaking. The venue itself was spacious, stunning, coastal, bright and modern. It was exactly what we were looking for on our special day! Leading up to the wedding my husband and I were extremely impressed with the staff's professionalism. Erica was welcoming, kind, and informative during our tour and communication prior and after. Lindsay was who my husband and I worked with the year+ leading up to our wedding. She was incredible through it all and was on top of communication working with our planner and vendors! She also made sure everything went smoothly on our wedding day! We loved the process working with Wychmere from start to finish. The food at Wychmere was NEXT level. Our friends and family couldn't stop raving about it, I wish I had a Time Machine to go back to our wedding day AND the tasting just to have the food all over again! On our wedding day the entire staff went above and beyond for us and our guests. Janet was a joy who took care of me, my husband, and our bridal party. She was very sweet and brought my husband and I our cocktail hour apps + drinks to enjoy alone before entering the cocktail hour. I could go on and on about how incredible our wedding weekend was at Wychmere. Last but not least, our bridal party stayed in the Wychmere suites and the rooms were gorgeous and easy access to the venue. We worked with Susan who gave us tours of the rooms when we were figuring out where our guests would stay, she was very nice and helpful! The views were stunning. If you're looking for the absolute PERFECT wedding venue, THIS IS IT. Thank you Wychmere and staff for the most memorable weekend of our life!

I cannot say enough good things about my experience getting married at Wychmere. From the second we toured the venue - we fell in love with the property and all it had to offer. Being paired with someone like Kristin as our event coordinator was such a blessing. She is kind, patient, professional, supportive and a literal lifesaver and I could not have done my day without her by my side throughout the whole process! The staff at Wychmere are TOP notch - they are so polite and put the guests and their needs first. Not to mention the food - wow!!! Many of our guests said it was the best food they had ever had at a wedding and I can attest to that! Thank you to all involved who made my day so perfect in every aspect!

The most beautiful venue!
When we saw Wychmere, we immediately knew it was our dream venue. Our love of the Cape came through in the beauty of this venue, and the staff was incredibly organized and helpful! Quintessential Cape Cod
We had a September wedding at Wychmere (~170 guests) and highly, highly recommend the venue for a multitude of reasons:
- Setting: If you’ve been on site, you will know that the setting is beautiful. We had our ceremony on the lawn with the cocktail hour in the Hydrangea room followed by our reception in the Harbor Room, and it was absolutely stunning.
- Food: One of our biggest priorities in planning a wedding was quality of food and portion size. We very quickly realized at our tasting that neither would be an issue whatsoever! Wychmere offered a multitude of incredible options, and they do not skimp on the portions. As it was at the tasting, the food at the ceremony was absolutely incredible and nobody left hungry! We’d highly recommend the raw bar and charcuterie table during the cocktail hour, in addition to the mac and cheese bites!
- Staff / Organization: Last but not least….Kristin and the entire staff that we worked with were extremely professional and organized throughout the long planning process. They were absolutely delightful to work with. On the day of the wedding, they were 100% on top of everything and made sure we were able to simply enjoy the day. We could not have asked for a better planning partner. If you are looking for a beautiful quintessential Cape wedding, you should seriously consider Wychmere.

A Dream Venue
Wychmere is hands down a dream venue and crew to work with. When we first toured Wychmere as a potential venue, we were greeted with champagne and treated like royalty the moment we walked through the door. Being the indecisive couple we tend to be, we had seen numerous venues, and this by far was the best. We knew almost immediately this was our venue! The level of spoiling never ended, Wychmere makes you feel incredibly valued and listened to. Working with Brooke is a true privilege, she is so organized, sweet, and thorough in every single last detail. You dream it and Brooke makes it happen! The minute we met Brooke at the tasting, we knew how lucky we were. Brooke made sure every menu selection, decor, timeline, and detail was exactly what we wanted. Brooke helped us unload our decor, helped ease all of our anxiety, and truly made our dream Wedding a reality! The staff were flawless, attentive, and made sure everyones needs were taken care of. Our VIP attendant Janet was truly one of the sweetest people I have ever met and made sure our VIPs felt extra special. She even created a moment for my husband and I to enjoy champagne and had one of every appetizer set aside for us, so that we could take a breathe before going back out to greet guests. The flow of the day was seamless and perfect in every single way, and we still to this day are receiving compliments on Wychmere Beach Club as a venue and the staff. Also, the food was amazing every app and every main course was delicious! Our Wedding Day was one of the best days of our lives yet, and it would not have been the same without Wychmere Beach Club and their staff! Thank you so much for everything, we cannot speak more highly of them!

The first time I stepped on Wychmere’s property I knew it was where I wanted to get married. The views from every venue space are truly breathtaking and the reception spaces themselves are jaw dropping. We were impressed with Wychmere along every step of our wedding planning journey. From our initial tour to our tasting to our wedding day and every phone call and email along the way, Wychmere exceeded our expectations.
A moment of special praise for the food at Wychmere…after our tasting we all raved about the food and could not wait for the wedding day to taste it again and we will continue to talk about how delicious it was (and so will our guests) for years to come!
The team at Wychmere truly treats you and your family as VIPs the entire night long. Anything you need they are there with it with a smile and warmth. Wychmere Will Treat You like a True VIP
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that will treat you like a true VIP, look no further than Wychmere Beach Club. Their beachside location in Harwich Port on Cape Cod and professional staff made for a perfect wedding. Our coordinator Brittany kindly answered our many questions throughout the planning process and helped organize all the little details to make our day run smoothly. Special shout-out to Bitsy, our wedding day assistant, who accompanied us from the ceremony until the very end of the reception. She made sure our parents, my husband, and I had everything we needed and constantly checked in to ensure everything was okay. She even helped bustle my dress and found my husband’s ring in the grass when it flew off while taking photos! Wychmere Beach Club is a well-oiled machine and everyone from the servers to the housekeeping staff was incredibly nice. Our wedding day was everything we imagined and more. We are so grateful we chose Wychmere Beach Club as our venue.

The best venue on the Cape!
I only have phenomenal things to say about Wychmere Beach Club. Five stars is truly not enough! We initially booked our wedding for 2021 in the Harbor Room (stunning), but as 2020 came to a close, it was clear we needed to reschedule. We were lucky enough to host our family and friends in the brand new Dune a few weeks ago, and it was truly a dream come true!
I have to absolutely shout out our event coordinator, Lindsay. She was a true joy to work with starting day one! At every meeting, she made me feel totally at ease. Anything I asked for, she was able to accommodate and that extended to the wedding day as well. Wychmere is truly luck to have her on their staff!
The Wychmere experience is absolutely phenomenal from start to finish. The location, space and food are all absolutely amazing! I always felt like I was a top priority at every step of the process. We've had so many guests compliment the Wychmere and say that our wedding was the best they had ever been to, and I truly owe that to the Wychmere staff! Everything went perfectly on our day. I would highly recommend Wychmere to any couple looking for the perfect Cape Cod wedding experience!

Beautiful venue, incredible service!
My husband and I were married at Wychmere Beach Club in Aril 2022 and we had such an amazing experience! We fell in love with the location and flexibility (we had an outdoor ceremony with cocktail hour on the rooftop deck and the reception in the Ocean Room). We were completely blown away by the service from Wychmere staff. Our wedding coordinator, Kristin, was AMAZING. She helped with everything from big picture planning to creative ideas and details to day-of coordination and support. She answered every question we had quickly and thoroughly and was always available to talk through any problems or concerns we had. On our wedding day, Wychmere also provided is with an attendant and a venue manager in addition to our coordinator, which meant that we constantly had people assisting us, checking on us, and keeping us on schedule. Our parents were also treated like VIPs and appreciated how often staff checked on them. In addition to the service, the food was absolutely outstanding. We tried a number of different hors d'oeuvre, meals, and desserts at our tasting and everything was delicious. They took such great care of our guests with allergies and made us feel confident that everyone got food that they could eat. We stayed and got ready at the suites of the Wychmere Hotel, which was so luxurious and convenient. We are so glad that we chose Wychmere for our wedding and would recommend it to anyone looking for impeccable service and a true Cape Cod atmosphere!

When it came to picking a venue on the cape, nothing truly compares to Wychmere Beach Club. It is STUNNING and we fell in love the moment we toured the venue. We were so impressed with how on top of everything the staff is at Wychmere. Marissa was a pleasure to work with during our initial booking. She helped to meet our needs and work with our budget. Our coordinator, Brooke, was absolutely phenomenal. I loved how thorough she was in every step of the process. We did not need to even consider a wedding planner with how helpful Brooke was in keeping us on track and checking all our planning boxes. The staff at Wychmere were all amazing. Our guests raved about the food, everything was so delicious. I had multiple people express that our wedding was one of the most beautiful and fun weddings they had ever been to. Everything went so smoothly thanks to Wychmere. We even had one small family mishap, and Brooke made sure to handle it so I didn't need to worry. We had the best day of our lives, and I can't express how thankful I am to the entire Wychmere team for making our wedding day so perfect!!

Phenomenal Experience!
If you are looking for a spectacular place on Cape Cod to have your wedding, look no further than Wychmere Beach Club! It is absolutely, positively perfect! My daughter and her now-husband were married at the club in August of 2021. There are simply not enough words to describe how wonderful the entire experience was. As soon as we entered the property for our first appointment, we were captivated by its beauty, location, and stunning views. From that point on, it just got better and better.
This was due, in large part, to our wedding coordinator, Kristin Walsh. To say that Kristin is amazing is truly an understatement. Kristin represents Wychmere Beach Club in the best possible way. The club is extremely lucky to have her. Kristin helped my daughter plan her wedding during a pandemic, and throughout the entire experience we found her to be professional, kind, organized, flexible, and attentive to all of our needs. She truly made what could have been a nerve-wracking experience both enjoyable and easy. Kristin was always quick to answer our questions, and there certainly were many! A month before the wedding, we had numerous changes, and Kristin was always ready with alternative options and suggestions.
Our original plan was to have the reception in the gorgeous Ocean Room and the ceremony and cocktail hour on the rooftop deck. When a hurricane threatened to strike on the day of the wedding, Kristin, in her gentle, reassuring manner, planned a possible indoor option for both the ceremony and cocktail hour. We left everything in her expert hands, and she did not disappoint. Although the storm had veered north of the Cape, and the rain had stopped, the wind prevented an outdoor ceremony on the deck. It truly worked out fine, though, because both the ceremony and dinner were held in the Ocean Room, which is truly exquisite. We were still able to use the lovely rooftop deck for our cocktail hour and at any time during throughout the rest of the afternoon.
The wedding experience itself was phenomenal. The food was delicious, and the drinks and tasty hors d’oeuvres were abundant. The servers were professional and extremely attentive, and the transitions were seamless. Kristin worked with the D.J., florist, and photographer to ensure that everything was well-timed and coordinated. We were truly grateful to be in her capable hands. She thought of special things that we would never have thought of and worked quietly behind the scenes managing everything throughout the day. There was nothing for us to do except enjoy ourselves! When the wedding was over, our belongings were nicely packed and brought to the door. We truly didn’t have to lift a finger all day. I hope I have the pleasure of one day attending another wedding at Wychmere Beach Club. We give both this venue and Kristin Walsh our highest recommendation!

Wychmere Beach Club truly gave us our dream wedding. From the time we booked to the end of our event, we had nothing but a great experience. We had to move our date 3 times due to COVID and Wychmere was always very responsive and accommodating to changing our date. Kristin Walsh was our wedding coordinator and she made sure to understand our vision of the day and to make sure everything went off without a hitch. Sarah was our day of bridal attendant and was always there to make sure that our needs, along our families needs were taken care of. The food was amazing and everything was cooked perfectly. The entire staff was kind, friendly and professional and the venue is absolutely stunning. Before our wedding everyone kept telling us how we had to be flexible because "something" was bound to go wrong...these people clearly didn't have a Wychmere wedding :) Everything and everyone was just so amazing and we couldn't be more grateful!

Brooke went above and beyond helping us to plan our event, postpone and rearrange due to the pandemic and it’s restrictions, and she was incredibly hospitable and professional the day of the event. My bridal attendant Janet was so sweet and helpful as well, and she truly helped make my day seamless. Food was beyond fantastic... our Ocean Room ceremony was gorgeous even with the rain, and we were fortunate to have our cocktail hour downstairs in another beautiful space. Wychmere was a beautiful venue for a wedding and Brooke, our coordinator, was amazing! You can tell from visiting Wychmere that it’s a gorgeous place, but what really made our wedding special was Brooke and her masterful planning. She was incredibly responsive, kind, and patient throughout the whole process, and always willing to work with us to make sure our day was perfect and exactly as we wanted it to be. She was exceedingly organized and our day went exactly according to plan, even running a little ahead of schedule at one point. Every detail was accounted for, even setup (including centerpieces) and breakdown at the end of the night was handled by her and her team.
Our ceremony was on the deck overlooking the beach, and our reception was in the ocean room upstairs. All of our guests had an amazing time, thought the venue was beautiful, and loved the food. There was another wedding at the venue on the same day and you never would have noticed since everything runs like clockwork. Would highly recommend!

She truly thought of every detail during the planning process and helped keep our stress levels manageable leading up to the wedding. Janet, our attendant, also did a wonderful job the day of the wedding making sure we were well taken care of and fed throughout the day. They truly think of everything. I couldn't imagine getting married anywhere else. From the first time I saw this beautiful venue I knew I wanted to get married there and the entire team was so helpful to make my dreams come true. They helped to answer every question I had and kept me organized without being overwhelming. They were all so nice to work with and made the experience enjoyable. You always here little things will go wrong that you can't control and I can say NOTHING went wrong in large part because of the Wychmere crew, especially Brooke :) Would highly recommend the venue and working with this team!

Dream Come True Venue
Our wedding day was better than I could have ever dreamed of because of Wychmere's amazing venue and staff. From the moment we walked onto the property I fell in love with Wychmere. Our coordinator, Lindsay Grimes, was truly phenomenal. She made the wedding planning process less daunting and was always there for me with ideas and answers to questions. The high level of professionalism and attention to detail really shined through on my wedding day. Everything from the ceremony all the way through to the beach bonfire after party ran flawlessly. Lindsay ensured that every detail I had in mind was executed perfectly. The staff always made sure my husband and I had everything we needed the whole night. Our attendant, Janet, was fabulous! The food was just as mouthwatering as it was during our private tasting. The entire day was a dream and perfect thanks to Lindsay and her staff! I cannot thank Wychmere enough for lifelong memories! I cannot recommend this venue enough for future couples!

Cape Cod Wedding of my dreams
I was able to have the privilege to get married at Wychmere Beach Club in August and it was everything that I could have wished for beyond my wildest dreams. Our ceremony was on the Private Beach and our reception was in the Ocean Room. The Ocean Room is a beautiful, intimate room with views of the Nantucket sound and I would highly recommend this room. Brooke S. was my coordinator and she was very professional and helpful throughout the duration of our planning. Everything from the tasting, to the rehearsal, to the wedding was perfect. On the wedding day, Brooke and another assistant assured that I was to have the perfect day. They assisted me throughout the day and evening and assured that I ate and always had a drink in hand. I wish I could rewind to our perfect day, but I do highly recommend this venue for you to see that your day will be perfect too!

could not be happier that we chose Wychmere as our venue for the best day of our lives. From the moment we walked onto the property we fell in love and cancelled the rest of our appointments at other venues we fell in love. The planning process was so seamless and our coordinator was so accommodating and had great attention to detail! On the big day, I could not describe it better than to say it was flawless. The team really knows what they are doing and had the best communication, schedule and staff I have ever seen seriously they had headset earpieces and all to communicate it all I was blown away. The most important detail was the fact the team there took the time to take my mothers seating card to her seat for her to make sure she had the best view of her daughter.... I mean SERIOUSLY they thought of everything. Before I walked down the aisle I noticed I forgot my bouquet in my suite, and a team member sprinted in 95 degree weather back to my room to retrieve it without a bat of an eye. Wychmere made sure to have AMPLE amounts of appetizers and make sure everyone was happy and well fed the entire day. I have been receiving compliments on how stunning the venue was, how flawless the day flowed and how amazing the food was. I would recommend them to ANYONE, seriously they made this day the best day of my life. Thank you again Longwood Venues and Wychmere for everything I will never forget this weekend

If you stressed out about the wedding, just call Hannah...
Wychmere is an amazing place for a wedding as you can google. It has lots of nice locations, so plenty of space for wedding pictures. Food, staff, and organization are great too. But the hottest thing about this place is their wedding coordinator Hannah. She is very organized and punctual, and words cannot express my gratitude for her work. It was a perfect wedding. And we received a beautiful blanket with our wedding date, how sweet! Thanks, Wychmere!

Best venue on the Cape!!
All I can say is WOW!! What an incredible venue - the people, the spot, the setup, EVERYTHING was absolutely perfect. Lindsay was the most incredible person to work with on the months prior to the wedding, and was sure to make everything I asked for happen (and at times there was quite a list ha)! And, I wish I could take our day of wedding attendant Sarah home with us - she literally got me everything I asked for in seconds! Everything went exactly as expected (actually better!), and we even lucked out with the perfect weather. The fact that we were able to decide which ceremony space to use day of was so important since the weather was all over the place - and man am I glad we were able to have it down by the beach! Mind you, the backup plan was still absolutely gorgeous, but the pictures we have outside are some of the best in the bunch - not to mention how many of our guests were gushing over all the photo opportunities they were able to take! We were in the Ocean Room and it fit everyone very comfortably for dinner/dancing, which there was plenty of. The food was also just as delicious day of as it was during our tasting, and everyone had a drink in hand whenever they wanted one. Honestly, one of the most important decisions we made for our wedding was choosing Wychmere for our venue. I will remember how incredible everything was from the first minute to the last for years to come :)

There will never be enough thank you's to the Wychmere and their staff. From the moment we started our journey in planning our dream day, the Wychmere and our wedding planner Lindsay Grimes were there to help. We started planning about a year out, were super excited and had lots of questions. Lindsay never made us feel like we were bothersome, or any request was not worth asking; she was also a great sounding board for ideas, vendors, themes. This venue does such an amazing job guiding you through the process, from the start to the end. Lindsay and her team made it really fun too! The tasting is phenomenal and the food is delicious. Through the process we had timelines and to-do lists organized, and nothing slipped through the cracks on the big day - not one thing. We had a sneak attack of some rain at the exact time of our planned outdoor ceremony, and the Wychmere flipped our already set up reception room over in less than 15 minutes to a beautiful indoor ceremony. New England weather is unpredictable and this group knows how to jump into plan B. I am not sure what we would have done without them, we were so lucky to find them. Thank you a thousand times to the Wychmere, and especially Lindsay.

There are just a few options when it comes to incredible venue locations on the Cape - all of which we checked out. Ultimately the Wychmere won us over because it really was the best value, and best environment we could find.
If your event is not huge (100 or less) reserve the Ocean Room - the outdoor patio views of Wychmere Harbor and Nantucket Sound are some of the best on the Cape - simply breathtaking. The staff and service are the incredible - best way to say it is they are nearly invisible yet every minute detail is delivered to perfection.
The food options, and more importantly the quality, are on par with the best restaurants in Boston - I can’t count the number of guests at our wedding who were walking around in a stupor over the food and drink.
And last but not least, our event coordinator, Brooke Spiegel, hand-held us with an incredible level of confidence, and really became an integral part of our event and our family.
Her expertise and creativity in navigating the menus and options was so relieving, and helped us not only come in on budget, but deliver an event that every one of our guests said was one of the best they had ever experienced.
Bottom line - we could not have dreamed of a better event.
When it comes to one of the most important days of your life - expect the best, and then go visit the Wychmere.
Tip: Don't hesitate to think about an event in late April early May! Weather is surprisingly great and all the local accommodations are still at off season prices!

I got married here on 8/27 and the service, quality and atmosphere was everything I had hoped for! We had Lindsay as our day-of coordinator and she was fabulous!! She and her team are incredibly professional and hard working. They know how to make sure that everyone is where they need to be and having a great time. We used the deck and Ocean Room for our ceremony/reception and our guests LOVED the amazing views! I could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day and as an out-of-town bride, Wychmere truly made everything flow seamlessly and brought everything together for us! I highly recommend Wychmere Beach Club! We chose Wychmere for our wedding ceremony and reception after looking at numerous venues on Cape Cod. The location is gorgeous, but what really made them standout is their client service. From my first email with the Sales Manager, they were very accommodating, asking us what we were looking for and creating a personalized proposal for us. Once we signed the contract, we worked with Lindsay Grimes as our venue planner. Lindsay was wonderful! She was very responsive and ORGANIZED down to the very small details. Some of the questions she asked I would never have thought of myself ahead of time. She also provided vendor recommendations and answered all of my questions. The day of the wedding, the coordination was FLAWLESS. Lindsay and the bridal attendant along with other employees were wearing headsets so they could easily communicate with each other. Our bridal attendant, Sarah, was constantly checking in to see if we needed anything. As a result, we were able to relax and enjoy the night. Our guests had the best time and said the food was amazing! We stayed in an ocean-room suite for 3 nights (which made the getting ready process very easy) and we are looking forward to staying there in the future to celebrate our anniversary! Once we chose Wychmere, we never looked back and wondered if we made the right decision. We always felt like they valued us as clients, and we even received a thank you note and a personalized gift a few weeks after our wedding from the President!

Best wedding venue on Cape Cod by far!! Wychmere's beauty, decor, food and staff make it all around an amazing place to hold a wedding/wedding reception. I worked with Heather Rumel as my wedding coordinator. During the planning process Heather was extremely helpful. She is a true professional who is very down to earth and super positive to work with! I wish I could keep the wedding planning process going with her because she made it so seamless! (Even with all of my crazy questions!) On the day of the wedding, my husband and I felt like royalty! Between Heather, Rodrigo (the venue manager) and Tina (our wedding attendant) all of the details were perfectly secured and someone was always right there to help get us water, tell us what was next, etc. Overall I HIGHLY recommend Wychmere to all considering a Cape Cod wedding!!!

Words can't describe how wonderful our experience was at the Wychmere. The grounds. The food. The service. Everything truly blew us (and our guests!) away. We had researched a lot of venues on the Cape, but were struggling to find a place that fit our wedding size and taste. From the moment we walked in, we just got that heart-fluttery feeling. Karen, our wedding coordinator, made it all the more perfect. She was on top of every single detail, worked wonderfully with my other vendors, and graciously entertained even my most out-there requests (like setting up a styled lounge on the Ocean Room deck, and putting real mussel shells on our trio of wedding cakes). The day-of, she and the rest of the Wychmere team were there to attend to our every need, and then some. We felt completely at ease, and so lucky. We can't wait to celebrate our anniversaries there for years to come!

I had been looking at Wychmere as my wedding venue since I was in high school! From the moment my [now] husband and I pulled up outside, I knew this was the place. Before walking in, I actually cancelled my other site-tour appointments at other venues nearby- that’s how stunning the grounds are! Our sales manager, Marissa Pita, was professional but friendly and was able to answer my millions of questions right away. She was also able to help us find a date that worked with our budget and make the booking process so easy! The Harbor Room (downstairs) at Wychmere was so unique and my guests are still raving about the floor to ceiling views of the picturesque Wychmere Harbor. Our ceremony was outside on the Hydrangea Lawn with the harbor and boats passing by in the background. Our guests had so many compliments regarding the quality of the food and the top notch service during dinner. While the venue itself is incredible, the true gem of Wychmere is Karen Rood. Karen was our Sr. Event Specialist but I liked to refer to her as an Event Magician, personally. Karen is one of the most knowledgeable Event Specialists I have ever met, and I had previously worked in the industry for many years. Working with Karen was like working with a friend and I knew I could trust her with every detail of our day. Karen was always ten steps ahead of us and kept the planning process on track. She was great about reminding me to do things (which I certainly needed!) and ensured our special requests were accommodated. As the wedding day got closer, Karen was in close contact with all of our vendors ensuring everyone knew where to be and when. Both my husband and I are actually sad the wedding is over because we can’t chat with Karen all the time now! :) Book your wedding at Wychmere and ask to work with Karen. My husband and I visited 2 venues we had researched online prior. We knew we wanted a beach ceremony and beach themed wedding, so when we found Wychmere Beach Club we knew we had to check it out. From the very beginning we knew that this was our location and we were going to make it happen. We had the pleasure of working with Heather Rumul as our wedding planner- she was AMAZING. Heather made sure to periodically keep in touch via email and phone calls. She always answered any questions I had, and believe me I had A LOT. When it came time to our food tasting and choosing out linens out, etc, she made the experience so relaxing and she was so helpful with everything in terms of color linens and ideas with all of her experience. Heather was so so wonderful at helping us plan the most amazing day of our lives, and keep everyone on schedule the day of the wedding. I was honestly so sad when the wedding was over because I felt like I became so close to her and now it was all over!! From the moment my husband and I visited the Ocean Room at the Wychmere we knew this was where we wanted to have our reception. The views and location alone sell the venue, but the top notch service and attention paid by the staff lived up to the billing and then some. Lindsay, our coordinator, was always available to talk and was very responsive which made coordinating a wedding from NYC as easy as it could be. She opened up the site to us multiple times throughout our planning process, provided helpful input for selecting external vendors, and guided us through a few last minute changes that came up. When our guests turned out to be overwhelmingly gluten free she even arranged to have gluten free pizzas at our cocktail hour at gluten free cupcakes during cake. The room set the night of was as beautiful as we could have imagined and the food far exceeded the quality of what you might find at a standard wedding venue. The bridal attendants addressed anything my husband and I needed throughout the night including delivering drinks as we finished our pictures on the beach. We decided to stay on site after our wedding in one of the beautiful suites and found a small gift from Lindsay and team upon our arrival. Though my husband and I may be a bit biased, the many guests who told us that our wedding was one of the best they’d been to in years, if not ever, affirm our feelings that we could not have asked for a better wedding venue than what was provided by Wychmere.

Wychmere did a fabulous job at my wedding! Karen was amazing and if your looking into this venue, definitely ask to work with her! She provided me with lists of local vendors and gave her honest opinions on everything. She was always so fast replying to my emails and made sure I stayed on top of things. I got married on the beach and was in the harbor room for the reception and everything was perfect! They also set up a bon fire on the beach with a tiki bar and smores which was an awesome after party. If your staying at Wychmere, it is pricey, but worth it. The pool was amazing and the beach was spectacular there! They even had people that would drill holes in the sand and set up umbrellas for you. But back to Karen, she was amazing I probably would have fallen apart without her! I definitely recommend this venue to anyone!

Since I grew up on that beach, Wychmere Beach Club was an easy pick for a wedding venue for my husband and I. I can’t speak enough to the staff at Wychmere, especially Lindsay Grimes. She was super communicative and guided me through the whole process. I can’t imagine not having someone as helpful as Lindsey there! When there was some last minute rain, her and her team quickly moved our outside ceremony indoors and set everything up beautifully. The grounds are just immaculate and provided for some great views and wonderful pictures and the food was wonderful (many guests complimented). One of the concerning aspects to me beforehand (and why I was reading reviews like crazy!) was the fact that there’d be another wedding going on. I can honestly say that the day came and I couldn’t tell at all. Wychmere does a fabulous job at coordinating the two events so neither you or your guests even know anything else is going on. I would hands down recommend Wychmere! Of course it’s expensive, but you definitely get what you pay for and there is no doubt in my mind why Wychmere is one of the best wedding venues!

Heather, our wedding planner, was so great about planning the wedding that we wanted, and was always so honest about everything. It was so easy to connect with her and she seemed to intuitively know our style and priorities. The day was perfect!

I cannot say enough about the Wychmere Beach Club. Every staff member at the Wychmere went above and beyond to help us. Kristen, who gave us our very first tour, made the Wychmere a stand out venue as we proceeded to review other venue options. She kept in constant contact with me via email as we played with the prices to make sure that the Wychmere could fit into our budget. She also helped to ensure we could find a date and time suitable for us. Next, Lindsay, my wedding coordinator, spoke with me over the phone to understand my vision, and took care of so many little tasks that I may not have ever thought of which made the day run so smoothly. She and I were in constant contact via email, and no question or request seemed too large for Lindsay to help with. As the day came closer, Lindsay made sure to check with me to make sure everything was in order. As someone who wasn't the best wedding planner, this was huge for me. She was great with my family and friends during the rehearsal, and made everyone feel so comfortable despite nerves and excitement. On the day of the wedding, Lindsay and Betsy worked nonstop behind the scenes to ensure that everything, and I mean EVERYTHING ran smoothly - just as it was planned. Also, all of the wait staff, bartenders, and servers were so willing to help not only myself, but all of the guests with anything they needed. Everyone truly wanted the day to be perfect for the bride, groom, family and friends. When your venue is the Wychmere, every single event is organized to the minute for the whole staff to follow. This ensures that the day goes as perfectly as you picture your wedding to go in your mind. Not one thing went wrong at my wedding, and I know that is rare to say. But the Wychmere made all of that possible and I highly recommend this venue to any and all brides wishing to marry on the beach in Cape Cod. It will truly be an event that you, your husband, and all of your guests rave about for years to come.

We were so thrilled with the service and atmosphere at the Wychmere. We fell in love with the Ocean Room on first sight, and were totally sold on the idea of having beautiful spaces indoors and out, so that we wouldn't be too stressed about the weather. Absolutely the right choice. The Wychmere was the only venue on the Cape that not only was able to accommodate our Indian fusion menu vision, but had multiple options to run by us and were willing to work with us to come up with the perfect mix of foods for all our guests. Food was very important to us and the Wychmere went above and beyond to make everything perfect. We loved working with Karen Rood, our coordinator, who kept us on task and managed the day-of events flawlessly. We would strongly recommend the Wychmere to any couples looking for a stress-free, casual-elegant wedding on the Cape.

Heather Valeri was my Event Specialist. She was an absolute delight to work with on my special day. The whole Wychmere staff was top notch from set-up, to food and beverage service, to helping me bustle my gown, and making sure I ate too. They are incredibly efficient, and graceful with time management. My husband and I only looked at one other venue prior. Once we saw Wychmere and met staff, we knew this was THE place for us. Marrying on the beach could not have been more magical. The small touches we could customize to meet our event minimum were priceless! It was pure bliss, and I would recommend Wychmere in a heartbeat to any couple seeking a beachy wedding Cape Cod style.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!!! My husband and I just got married here last weekend and it was perfect.
I am sure that having that view alone they could do well but the staff here goes above and beyond to make sure your day is perfect. Karen Rood is absolutely the most amazing and organized person. She made sure I was constantly in the know and made sure that my type A personality didn't have to worry about anything this big day.
Here are just some of the amazing things she did for me:
1. She made sure a golf cart was there to pick me up before first look photos and the ceremony as well as my bridal party and elderly family members.
2. She made sure we had a number of passed food from our cocktail hour. But instead of stuffing us in a small room-let us enjoy it on the beach with a cocktail. This was my favorite part of the night because I got to enjoy the food, view, and husband before walking into the madness of cocktail hour.
3. She let us see our reception hall before they opened the doors so we could enjoy all the small details we had added.
4. Wychmere gave us a blanket to "keep our love warm" with our wedding date on it.
This place is the perfect and I mean PERFECT place to have an amazing cape cod beach wedding. Thank you so so much for everything.

Wychmere Beach Club made our wedding dream a reality. When searching for a location, we were hoping to find a place with a room so beautiful with water views you didn't have to even add a flower to make it perfect, along with a beach location and grass for a ceremony. I never expected to be able to find all three until we arrived at Wychmere. The day we found it the weather was pouring rain and even so we couldn't get over how gorgeous it was- that's how we knew our wedding had to be there. The service and planning was wonderful, and Karen our coordinator was so great to work with. Her attention to detail was perfect and any little thing I mentioned she would make sure it would happen. The food was amazing and our wedding guests are still calling and emailing us telling us how it was the best wedding they had ever been to. I can't say enough wonderful things except I wish I could do the day all over again!

A true professional, she and her staff members took care of absolutely everything for us and anticipated our needs even when we didn't realize we needed something (like a beverage). Heather made many great suggestions during the planning process and was always attentive and accommodating to the ideas my daughter and I (MOB) brought to the table. Wychmere Beach Club clearly specializes in events...they aren't like a restaurant who does weddings on the side. Executing special events is their thing and they know exactly what it takes to make an event successful. Several of our "foodie" guests commented that the meal served was among the best they had ever eaten at a wedding. The bar staff was very efficient and the waitstaff was professional. Now I want to ATTEND an event there instead of hosting one!

There are absolutely not enough thank yous in this world for the team at Wychmere! My husband and I fell in love with the venue on our drive in and immediately looked at each other with awe. We knew this was the place we wanted to get married. The team here is unbelievable. Our wedding planner, Heather Valeri was amazing. From the tasting to the follow up to the planning, she was there for everything. She recommended the best vendors, always answered the phone and was there to calm me down when I was feeling a bit overwhelmed. She even helped my bridesmaids bustle my dress!! There is NOTHING this woman can't handle! Thank you guys for one of the best days of our lives. The venue and staff were a dream come true. We can't wait to go back and celebrate anniversaries with you guys! And Heather - if you read this - I miss chatting with you weekly if not daily!

Nothing but good things to say about the ceremony site, reception , and overall experience and time at the Wychmere. To start I was very fortunate to have such an amazing wedding coordinator who definitely had the experience and loved what she did (Karen Rood). Karen made the wedding experience so easy and enjoyable! I got married on a perfect day, weather wise! She and her team members (James and Caren (Sorry if spelling is wrong)) were like secret service members. They were just always there at the right time and such remarkable people as well! The chef Chris was also fantastic at what he does and makes amazing food! I made sure to eat all the food! After the reception we had a beach bonfire which I enjoyed very much, but I expected a little more. The bonfire was more just a fire pit with chairs around, but I was able to make smores which made me happy!!
Overall I loved everything and wish I could go back!! Thanks again for all the memories and something I will remember forever!

There are a lot of beautiful places to get married on Cape Cod - but only one has Karen Rood! Karen, our event coordinator, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. She made everything so easy for us. She coordinated details with various vendors, responded promptly to all of our questions, and helped us think through all of the little details to make sure we got exactly what we wanted out of our big day. The entire team worked hard all night to facilitate our vision, and all we had to do was relax and enjoy it.
The venue itself is spectacular. We had our ceremony on the deck overlooking the beach, cocktail hour at the poolside bar, and our reception in a tent on the Grand Lawn. The setting is unparalleled - the view is beautiful in every direction. The food was amazing - our friends and family are raving about the lobster bake. We even had a bonfire on the beach following the reception, complete with s'mores. We cannot find a single flaw about Wychmere - it was 100% perfect in every possible way. We had a specific vision for our day, and Karen and her team went out of their way to make it come to life. This is a truly amazing venue - if you have the opportunity to get married here, book it immediately and rest easy knowing that your day will be absolute perfection.

Wychmere Beach Club was nothing short of incredible! My husband and I literally had the wedding of our dreams! We knew we wanted to be married on Cape Cod based on the history that it has with us and our families. Wychmere has everything that you're looking for in a "Cape Cod" wedding. We worked specifically with Stacy, one of the event coordinators at Wychmere. She kept in touch with us via phone and e-mail, and helped with any of our wedding planning needs. She also recommended several vendors on the Cape which we ended up hiring! My husband and I are still receiving compliments from our guest of how our wedding was one of the best they had went to! The food is spectacular, the scenery is gorgeous and the people are the friendliest you'll meet on the Cape! Our wedding day could not have been better even in our dreams. The Wychmere is a fabulous mix of authentic Cape and current day elegance. Karen was amazing. We were SO happy that we decided to splurge and have our wedding at Wychmere. The new construction turned out beautifully and although there was a snag with planning, it all worked out thanks to Karen Rood, the event coordinator. She is a dream to work with and allowed me to really relax on my wedding day- I knew that from the moment we arrived until the moment we left everything would go smoothly and Karen had it all under control. I have been to other weddings where dinner is served late, the cake cutting is almost forgotten, etc. Not here! Karen literally had the event planned down to the minute, ensuring that nothing was forgotten and everything happened on pace (within reason). Karen even came over to tell me when my food had been served, so that my hubby and I could get a bite or two to eat while it was still warm- awesome! Yes, Wychmere is very expensive, but in the end we felt like it was worth it. The service and servers were so professional (for example, each table guest is served their food at the same time, like at a fancy restaurant), the food was AMAZING (how many weddings can you say that for?) the setting was unparallelled and months later people are still saying I had the best wedding they've ever been to. To me? That's priceless.

We had the most wonderful experience at Wychmere. The reason we were drawn to Wychmere was because of the gorgeous grounds, good options for dinner, on-water location without having to be a beach, and a beautiful inside venue with outside views. The reason Wychmere was our choice though, was because Karen and the rest of the Wychmere team made us feel comfortable. We knew we could not know the answer, ask questions, request things, and Karen would treat us like gold. It meant the world to me throughout the planning process.
The new renovations are excellent. So if you are looking at images from other weddings, be sure to look at 2011 pictures to get a sense of what they did since last season.
I wouldn't have changed a thing. We had the most wonderful day.

I CANNOT say enough about Karen Rood, the wedding planner at Wychmere Harbor Club. Backing up, the club itself is on one of the most picturesque spots on Cape Cod, in Harwich Port. The level of service, attention to detail, quality of food, and vendor relationships were impeccable. But Karen is amazing. She knew every detail to ask before I had even thought of it, worked like crazy to help us when we thought we had to reschedule at the last minute due to an illness in the family, and somehow had full command over the 14 children that were in my wedding party. Wychmere was just purchased from its longtime owner to Longwood events, and I am hoping that the new group trusts Karen and does not change a thing.

My experience with Wychmere Harbor could not have been better. Karen Rood is a super star and was 110% responsive and on top of everything. The day of she ensured that we had the best day without having to worry about anything. Her thoughtfulness and organization made all the difference. The location is gorgeous, and even though it rained on our wedding day, the space was perfect to accommodate indoor cocktails (rather than on the patio as planned) and even doing family photographs indoors. Everything we ate was amazing -- and our guests keep raving about the food! I cannot express how totally great it was at Wychmere!

We just had our wedding at Wychmere Harbor Club and it was beyond anything we could have imagined. Our ceremony was held on their private beach overlooking the Nantucket Sound followed by a cocktail hour outside on the beautiful brick patio and the reception inside. Wychmere offers such a unique opportunity to have a real Cape Cod wedding right on the water that other venues in the area just simply do not have. The reception room is all windows with the water just below the window line - so even with your dinner and dancing inside it's still right on the water. We received so many compliments from our guests and everyone raved about the food saying that it was the best they had ever had.
Our experience planning with Karen and Justine was fabulous. They were fun and so accomodating. From the first time we walked in to our wedding day - planning was easy with their help and guidance. They only hold one wedding a day so there is no "rush" to get in or out. I highly recommend them for a real Cape Cod wedding with class!

Our overall experience with Wychmere was amazing and we could not be more thrilled that we chose them as our wedding venue for both the ceremony and reception. Our guests had a wonderful time and could not say enough about what a great experience they had at our wedding. The food was excellent and we received so many compliments about both the appetizers and dinner. Many stated that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding and we would certainly agree. In addition, the attentiveness of all the staff was immaculate and more than exceeded our expectations across the board.
Our Event Specialist (Heather) did a great job making the arrangements with our vendors (photographer, transportation, DJ, florist…) along with making sure that we were taken care of and all went smoothly of for pictures, the ceremony and into dinner. From there, the manager (Rodrigo) made sure me and my husband had whatever was needed throughout the night, whether that was a drink refill or comfortable with the temperature in the room. Also, the staff made sure our guests were well tended to all evening and we received nothing but positive comments from our friends and family. Another Event Specialist that assisted for dinner (Janet) even went over and above spending time with the children in attendance to make sure they were having a good time. She was so sweet and really did a great job making sure everyone was attended to and transportation was waiting at the end of the night.
Ultimately, everyone we encountered was pleasant, professional and did everything possible to ensure that it was truly a special day and wonderful experience for everyone! We are so glad we chose Wychmere and would highly recommend this venue to anyone for their wedding or even a special event.

The Wychmere Beach Club could not be in a more beautiful location, right on the water, and the renovations recently completed made the space even more incredible. Our wedding coordination, Karen Rood, was incredibly easy to work with, helpful, and very flexible as our plans changed. The whole Wychmere team was very professional, from the menu tasting to the final walk through. As an incredibly picky person, I found all of Karen's advice both well informed and dead on and she was also willing to weigh in on particular vendors and what she thought would work particularly well for our event. I can't thank Wychmere enough for their help. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and our guests could not stop commenting on the fact that it was one of the most beautiful venues they had ever seen!

Gorgeous, Special Cape Venue
Everything about our day at Wychmere was perfect! From the time we arrived at 3:00 until we depared at midnight, Brittany and her team finessed every detail to ensure we had the best day ever. Special shout out to Sara, who greeted my husband and I at the end of our ceremony with champagne, and helped me get the sand out of my shoes before cocktail hour! She also made sure my husband and I had a chance to enjoy the appetizers before greeting our guests. The food and drinks were perfect, any many guests said it was the best wedding meal they have ever had. The views from the Ocean Room were stunning, and guests loved taking photos from the deck. My personal favorite moment from the night was the beach bonfire on Wychmere's private beach following the reception, complete with s'mores and mini grilled cheese sandwiches. Thank you Wychmere for everything!

Beautiful Venue
We go married in September and had an amazing time at the Wychmere! Everyone loved all the appetizers and the filet mignon was cooked to perfection. The venue was super organized the day of and I didn't have to be worried about anything! Lindsay Grimes was great, she is on top of everything and she's been doing this for awhile so put your trust in her! Between her and Janet, the day went perfectly. Janet is literally on top of everything even my parents noticed how quick she was. There wasn't a moment I didn't have a drink in my hand and a full stomach--which is hard to come by for a bride most brides don't have time to eat. Janet put us in a separate room for 10-15 minutes so we could enjoy the happy hour appetizers before going out. It was a perfect day with a great staff! Highly recommend.
We also had a small wedding 111 people in the Ocean Room--highly recommend this room as it's very intimate

Well organized, professional team at a stunning location
I know it seems like every vendor you look at on The Knot has 5 stars, but believe me when I say that this venue handled every aspect of our wedding perfectly. Our coordinator, Brooke, was the perfect- she was both highly professional and highly approachable. Every single bride I spoke with who wanted to help me prepare for my wedding told me "and just remember, something will go wrong but you just have to roll with it". At the end of our wedding, Mike and I realized that the one thing *everyone* told us to expect simply never happened. Thank you Brooke for your organization and your understanding of our vision!
The food is also an absolute game-changer. The selection and quality of food is beyond impressive. I think that was a huge bonus for our guests who came in expecting your more typical wedding food.
As for the grounds, we looked at multiple venues on The Cape but there was no comparison to these beautiful grounds.
The absolute only thing I wished for by the end of our wedding is that our night would never end.

Wychmere Beach Club WOW!
If the incredible setting delectable food magnificent event space isn't enough for you to book your wedding at Wychmere Beach Club in Harwichport, Ma then add Karen Rood to the mix. Karen Rood is the on site wedding /event planner. She is energetic, compassionate ,insightful and meticulous everything you could want and more. Karen made planning my daughter's weddinwig stress free. Her level of professionalism and knowledge of event planning is unsurpassable . If I was thinking it, Karen was already doing it. Wychmere has everything going for it , but it's Karen that pulls it all together and lets you sit back watch and enjoy the magic. She is an expert in not letting you miss out on all the special moments. I am convinced that the most wonderful day wouldn't have been quite the same without her.
I hope in the future I have another reason to have an event at Wychmere .
It's an experience I will never forget!
Note: The reason I gave value a 4 rating was based on the after party on the beach. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for . Not in this case the after party was way over priced . . A disappointment in all aspects service and Quality and was diffenatley NOT worth it.

I had my wedding at the Wychmere Beach Club on June 22, 2014 and I can't say enough about how AMAZING it was. I worked with Karen Rood during the planning process and she was patient, flexible, and very attentive to every little detail. The service on the day of the wedding was also impeccable. Karen and the rest of the Wychmere staff (Karen and James were the people we worked with most closely) attended to our every need (from charging my husband's phone during the reception to refreshing our drinks!). Chris, the chef, is extremely creative and talented and worked with us to design a personalized menu. Overall, I would give the Wychmere an A++. Our guests are still talking about how incredible both the food and service were. I would highly recommend!

Wychmere is absolutely incredible. Our wedding was the best day of my life and Wychmere played a big role in that. The venue is gorgeous and the staff is fantastic. The Longwood Group is a well-run organization and their wedding process allows you and your spouse to relax and enjoy the wedding.
If you are getting married at Wychmere, you need to have Karen Rood as your wedding coordinator. We originally had someone else and switched after reading so many rave reviews about Karen. All the reviews were right! Karen made our wedding what it was. She is easy to work with, easy to talk to, and quickly became one of our favorite people in the world. Karen really seemed to understand what we were trying to accomplish on our big day. She put my husband and I (and our families) at complete ease during both the planning process and the wedding weekend.
I also can’t say enough about the staff at Wychmere during our wedding. The service was incredible from the moment we arrived. No matter what we needed, there was always someone close by to help. Finally, our guests raved about the food. Many said it was best wedding meal they had tasted, and we agree!
The one complaint I have about Wychmere is that the venue had a tendency to treat the wedding a bit too much like a business. It’s definitely an expensive venue, and there were several additional costs we weren’t anticipating.

Overall we were very pleased with Wychmere Beach Club. The venue is gorgeous, the food is terrific, and they are extremely responsive and professional. We had an amazing wedding and Wychmere was great to us. Since they're part of a bigger corporation, they are not the most flexible organization...that would probably be our biggest complaint. That being said, they did work with us to do some unique things and were overall great. We worked the most with Heather, and she is amazing. We couldn't have done it without her! The site is perfect too. We spent months looking at different venues etc, and we are incredibly happy that we chose Wychmere. Its a beautiful place and the perfect venue for an amazing wedding. I would strongly recommend it!

Beautiful Backdrop
This venue had everything we were looking for and more! My favorite aspects of it were the stunning views, delicious food, and professional staff. Every where you turned, the background was so stunning, which is great for photos and the guests viewing pleasure throughout the event. I loved the modern and simple design/decor because you can truly transform the space into whatever vision you have. I did tropical flowers and the bright colors stood out so well with the natural wood and white walls. To top it off, the food was amazing. Amazing. I wish there was a restaurant so we could eat there again, lol. We loved every moment of this night and highly recommend Wychmere!

My husband and I have a unique story in that we got engaged on the beach right in front of the Wychmere; my family has a home in Harwich Port. We looked at several venues for our wedding, but the Wychmere just wound up making sense. It's definitely on the higher end of things in terms of cost, but in return, we got the higher end of things in terms of service, food, scenery, evening, and memory. They work under an "event minimum" contract, whereby clients pay a certain amount and then site fees, ceremony fees, food, beverages, and more can come out of that. My wedding had around 220 people and it wasn't cramped a bit in the Hydrangea room (downstairs, and the patio). Our ceremony was on the beach - it was windy but worth it. Their event coordinator, Karen Rood (and Lyndsey, who has since left for Belle Mer), is a total dynamo. I joked with her that I would be emailing her with all future problems and she encouraged me to do so. Seriously, she is what made the process worth it. To sum it up: the Wychmere Harbor Club was the setting for a beautiful and unforgettable evening that set a great standard for our marriage.

When I pictured my dream Cape Cod wedding Wychmere was the only location. Simple and elegant. The planning phase was seamless. Our sales lead could not have been more professional or prompt in her communications. I adored my wedding coordinator from the start. She was lovely; very personable and made the planning process easy and fun. My only disappointment was the day of the wedding, I felt that my planner was preoccupied with other weddings later in the weekend. I was not a demanding bride and I think because of that I didn't get full attention. As guests arrived for the ceremony, people didn't know were to go and she was not too nice to my photographer. With that being said, my attendant onsite the day of the wedding was fantastic. She was one step ahead of me the whole day. (She made sure we enjoyed our dinner!!) Feedback from my guests was all extremely complimentary. Dinner service was flawless and food was exquisite. In the end I would not have changed a thing. It was pricy but the service was impeccable and the food was amazing. It is a pricer venue, but I do feel you get what you pay for.

We had such a great experiene with Wychmere Beach Club. Our coordinator, Karen Rood, was amazing. She is such a professional and provided really great advice throughout the entire process. A little background--my husband and I don't live on the Cape (but have family there), but fell in love the Wychmere as our reception venue, so we selected the Wychmere and Karen and planned our entire wedding from hundreds of miles away in 5 months. The Wychmere is an expensive venue, but you get what you pay for and the service, food, ambiance, and professionalism of the staff was top notch. As we look back on our pictures and all of the great memories, we are really happy we decided to go with the Wychmere and Karen Rood!

Thank you to the Wychmere Beach Club for everything spectacular from having a backup for an usually windy day to making sure everything was in its proper place, the way I always envisioned it. Lindsay was excellent to work with and always was accommodating even when things went off plan she was flexible and always was great with communication. They made sure we got to taste all of our appetizers, which were amazing, and we always had a drink in our hand. All of our guests loved their experience and the views! I would say the only thing that disappointed us were the high administrative fees and the fact that their on-site accommodations were booked when we booked the wedding and not told prior that we would not have the option to stay on site the night leading up to the wedding. It is truly a beautiful venue and gave a great experience overall!

As soon as my husband and I stepped foot onto Wychmere, we knew this was where we wanted to have our wedding. Our day was absolutely perfect, thanks to the staff and especially Heather, who was absolutely amazing, despite taking over our wedding from another employee a month before our day. I felt as if I had worked with her forever and she knew my wedding inside and out. Our guests raved about the food and the atmosphere and we have been repeatedly told that it was the best wedding people had ever been to. I could not have been happier with the service and staff. All of our decor, details and special things I spent months planning were set up exactly as I wanted and it was a relief to know that I did not have to worry about anything that day. Thank you so much to Wychmere and especially Heather. This place is worth every single penny.

I got married at the Wychmere on a Friday and it was absolutely beautiful. The venue is stunning! We were married on the beach and then had the cocktail hour on the deck of the Ocean Room and the reception in the Ocean Room. Everything came together beautifully and was very well organized. The Wychmere does many weddings per day and the venue does a good job to avoid any run ins with others. However, they are not very flexible and are on a very tight time frame, which is probably a good thing so everything runs smoothly. Lindsey was my wedding planner and she was very helpful in keeping me on track from the start and steered me in the right direction. Overall, I was extremely happy with my wedding day, but did feel rushed at times because of the timelines! They are very pricey too, but I thought it was worth it.
Also, when ordering meals, make sure you order the Filet Mignon for one of the entres. One of the best filets I have ever had! It totally melts in your mouth. For apps, we did the corn fritters which were outstanding and the haute dogs which were fun and good!

Wychmere is an absolutely stunning venue and our ceremony was unbelievable with the setting sun in the background! Janet, our day of coordinator, was absolutely the best and made sure my groom and I were FULLY taken care of! The food was the best I have had at a wedding and the view from the harbor room was stunning. One thing we did notice however, was the other wedding taking place during ours. We were almost guaranteed that we would not notice another wedding going on but, during our ceremony the other wedding was outside talking (loudly) and I could hear the other party going on right before I walked down the isle.

We got married on a very rainy day a couple of weeks ago. Even in the rain, Wychmere was beautiful, the location cannot be beat and the venue itself is something special. And the food was amazing and nicely presented, all my guests have commented how much they enjoyed it.
However, the rain did get the better of Wychmere. There is no rain plan for the Ocean Room for cocktail hour, causing them to move cocktail hour from the deck to inside the bar area, in a very small space. I understand that the rain was so bad the deck was not useable but I was never made aware that this was an option, I thought the sides on the deck would be enough cover to still have the cocktail hour out there. So, the cocktail space was cramped, guests were in and out of the dining room while we were taking pictures on the dance floor (and seeing the room in advance which takes away from the drama a bit!) and then were brought into the hallway to wait while the room was turned over for dinner. This was just not what I had envisioned and was certainly not prepared for it. It was a very chaotic beginning to the evening. From there, things went mostly smoothly, again the food and the staff serving were great, but I am not sure we got the same experience as in many of these other reviews, so that was disappointing.

Wychmere is one of the most beautiful wedding venues on Cape Cod, and I wouldn’t have traded the backdrop for anything. However, for brides looking to book Wychmere, I do want to warn that there is a LOT of red tape involved, and they are not very flexible or accommodating. While I loved the venue, I expected the service to be much better, especially considering the steep event minimums. I feel like they didn’t really value our business, and they saw me as just another client.
We did not have a single easy decision with Wychmere; every single thing had to be negotiated. I felt like they nickle-and-dimed us every chance they could. For example, we booked the Wychmere Cottage for our wedding party, and we requested a late check out for our brunch. They extended it by 1 hour, but additional time would cost $100 per hour. As another example, we wanted to do specialty cupcakes for dessert, so we scheduled a meeting with Wychmere’s exclusive vendor Casual Gourmet. We were very impressed with the tasting, but when we told Wychmere about the flavors we wanted they told us we couldn’t have them because they weren’t offered in their package! They would have charged us ~$20pp to get the flavors we wanted. We used Delicious Desserts instead and paid the $2.50pp cake cutting fee, which still ended up costing less.
Everything on the day of the event went very smoothly. The venue looked gorgeous, and the banquet staff was incredibly professional. The Wychmere event specialist left very early in the night though, which I thought was very odd. I was disappointed that they threw away bridesmaid bouquets & extra cupcakes rather than delivering them to our suite.
We used SD Events as our event planner, and I’m SO thankful we had them because they were really the ones who brought everything together for us. For brides looking to book Wychmere, I would definitely recommend using a professional event planner that you trust who can make sure your vision comes together smoothly!

Any issues that we had during the wedding planning process with Wychmere were forgotten when we walked in and saw our vision that had come to life. This is the most beautiful place on Cape Cod, hands down. Gone are the days where the gold standard was Chatham Bars Inn. I am still getting calls a week later that my wedding was the best wedding that people have ever been to.
For starters, the serving staff are fantastic. Every meal comes out at the SAME time. The filet is pink in the middle and the chicken is moist. Does that ever happen at weddings?! The appetizers were delicious and plentiful.
The planning staff was a bit disjointed.... Our planner quit 2 weeks before the wedding and was quickly replaced, but the replacement did not seem to understand the stress of the ordeal and in many ways made us feel that we weren't doing enough or spending enough to be important to the .
My only other caution about this venue is that if you bring anything yourself (decorations, cupcakes, floral arrangements) they make you and your parents take it all home that night. At one point my husband and I were just trying to escape to our room on the property and they were asking as where we'd like all of our decorations to go.....not something you want to worry about on your wedding night.... And we were told we could pick it up the next day when we started planning...not true and very off putting. My poor parents were loading table arrangements into their car after they'd spent quite a bit of money to have the event there.

Though the venue is absolutely beautiful and our day of went pretty smoothly - it was not a pleasant planning experience overall. Our event specialist, Brooke, was very difficult to work with, often telling us "no" immediately to any requests, before even looking into them. We were also never made aware of the policy prohibiting shots of liquor until the night of, which for a Russian wedding is very important. We were also not aware until last minute that the venue does not provide various things, like umbrellas, to guests- we had to bring and prepare most accessories. For the kind of money we paid for this venue, it seems like little things like this should be included. If asked about this venue, we are not sure we would recommend it.
