The best wedding DJ!

DJ Phil was extremely professional and clearly a very experienced DJ. He took a lot of time helping us plan everything from layout to song choices to timeline, and executed everything perfectly on our wedding day. We got so many compliments on the music and our dance floor was completely packed the entire night! He recommended uplighting for our reception space which completely transformed the space. We also added a photo booth through him which was a huge hit. Can't recommend TOAD and DJ Phil enough!

Definitely Recommend DJ Austin!

We are so happy we hired DJ Toad for our wedding at Richwood on the River. DJ Austin was amazing and so helpful with the planning process.

Austin met with us a couple times prior to the wedding to discuss our overall vibe, specific songs, equipment and music requests. He helped us come up with music selections for our ceremony and adjust our timeline as needed. During the reception, he did an amazing job at tailoring our music to multiple generations which was our main request. He did a fantastic job at listening to what we wanted and made sure the music matched. He was very professional, demonstrated great enthusiasm with announcements/dance floor, and worked seamlessly with our venue and wedding coordinator. It’s so clear he enjoys what he does and was happy to be a part of our wedding. We would highly recommend DJ Austin to everyone!!!

Would Give 6 Stars If Possible

We were initially targeting another DJ, but our photographer urged us to go with DJ Toad instead, and thank goodness for that. The best way to describe DJ Phil is "consummate professional." He's an amazing DJ and made our wedding run smoothly, even with minimal instruction or guideline from us. If you're lucky enough to book him, you can rest easy knowing you're in good hands. Specifically:
- Phil was super flexible and open-minded when we wanted/needed last-minute changes, including shuffling around the schedule, truncating first dance/parent dance songs on the fly, and even dropping in last-minute songs mid-reception that mixed and flowed seamlessly into our existing song selections. We know none of that is easy, but he sure made it seem that way!
- We asked for a private final dance at the end of the night, while the guests were all outside getting ready for our big send-off. Phil not only accommodated, but also took some fantastic pics for us during our private song, which is outside of his job responsibilities, but he went ahead and knocked it out of the park anyway.
- We're hearing that a well-intentioned but drunken friend may have tried to commandeer a mic to make a toast, but for Phil's stalwart gatekeeping. It's impossible to overstate how much we appreciate Phil for that intervention.
- Finally, Phil's mixes and song selections were on point, which is definitely an art. It's a true credit to his ability to read a room and fill it appropriately. We got tons of compliments on music selection, volume, and presentation.

Byron was the best

Byron Ginter DJed our wedding and was perfect. He hit every song on time both in the ceremony and reception, blended transitions perfectly, and had the dance floor rocking all night, incorporating our song preferences. Not just an average DJ - a pro. He was a consummate professional and would recommend to my closest friends and family without hesitation. Toad Productions was also easy to work with, reserve extra lighting, through, etc. 10/10

Way to keep the dance floor full!

DJ Toad was great - we had pictures flowing on the TV's, social media flowing on the TV's, all mics were loud enough for all the speeches, and the dance floor was full all night long! Excellent! I would highly recommend them!

Exceptional & Fun DJ

DJ Toad did an exceptional job at our recent wedding / ceremony! We had a mixed crowd of ages & a lot of other activities going on, but he still managed to switch up the music to pull people onto the dance floor all evening. He also was so organized and kept to the timeline and informed us when it was time for parents dance, bouquet toss, garter toss, fireworks show, etc. - so we didn't need to worry about it. He was so easy, flexible & understanding to work with! He also had great recommendations on songs that we weren't sure on what to use. We have received many compliments afterwards on the music, the screens / pics & videos he showed & how smooth he kept everything going. If you are looking for an Awesome DJ - this is the one! DJ TOAD is AMAZING. All of his DJ’s are high quality and truly care about making your wedding day special. We personally had DJ Will, he listened to all of our wants and made last minute exceptions/changes to help add the perfect touch to the reception. We had many guests comment on the talent Will brought and his ability to keep the party going. He was able to move from easy and romantic, to classy and elegant, to craazy and fun. They worked with our schedules and accommodated in whatever way we needed. We had a slight mix up before the wedding, and Toad himself personally called me from New York to ensure that we were settled and happy with everything. The DJ can make or break the atmosphere, so if you’re looking for a trusted partner for your event, DJ TOAD is the only way to go!!

GUYS. DJ WYATT WUKIE IS THE BEST DJ ON THE PLANET. We met and I gave him an eclectic list and a distinct no-play list. He BLEW US AWAY. He had the party going so well that I didn't even realize he never played a slow song! No one left the dance floor all night! He honestly helped us throw the best party ever!

DJ Will was fantastic!! We used Toad Productions for our ceremony & cocktail hour (separate location from reception), reception, and light up dance floor. They were flexible and easy to work with. The dance floor stayed packed all night and the light up dance floor was worth every penny!

The DJ toad team is awesome! Will was our DJ and he did an amazing job. Our dance floor was full the entire night and our guests didn't want the music to end. Will knew all the right songs to play and played songs that kept the dance floor full. I highly recommend Will and the DJ toad team.

5 stars are not enough for Phil Francis!!! He is an amazing professional, extremely responsive, and kept people dancing at our wedding all night long. Additionally, Phil was our favorite vendor to work with throughout the entire wedding process. Phil listened to us during the planning process, he was accommodating of our short timeframe for setup during the actual wedding (didn't complain at all!), he set up and managed an independent speaker unit for cocktail hour, and he gave us the BEST recommendation for a sing-along at the end of the night providing us with memories that will last us a lifetime. I can't tell you how many of our guests called Phil "the best wedding DJ they've ever heard", and we agree! Thank you, Phil!!!

We just got back from our honeymoon last night and didn't want to waste any time in writing DJ Phil a review! These guys are AWESOME! We really love finding music and fitting it to a party, and DJ Phil and his team did exactly that but 1000x better than we could have. There were people on the dance floor the entire night which is exactly what we were looking for. Music makes the party and they made a helluva party. The music video screen and jib-jabs were a huge hit.

DJ Phil was one of our favorite vendors to work with due to simplicity and flexibility. He did an excellent job with the intros and guiding everyone through the night, and is in general just a great person and awesome to work with. The entire crew at DJ Toad productions (and specifically DJ Phil) are worth every penny!

We had met with a couple of DJs prior to meeting with Toad and they were good and professional but also really stiff and not that much fun! Our photographers gave us the tip on Dj Toad and we really can't thank them enough! DJ Toad was amazing! We have gotten so many compliments on him and how well he played to the crowd! Wedding DJs can all kind of be the same but he provided a unique, and awesome experience for our guests! From the cocktail hour walk up record playing to the huge TV screens personalized with our info, it was really amazing! If you want to have an actual party, where people don't leave the dance floor until the wedding is over, then DJ Toad is your man!

Phil was the best! We met with a couple of different DJs prior to selecting one for our wedding, but once we met with Phil we knew he was our guy. His knowledge of all types of music as well as really wanting to understand our musical preferences really stood out as genuinely wanting to make the night exactly how we wanted and to set the mood we were trying to create in the room. He was easy to work with; we met with him a few times before the event and played an awesome setlist the night of. One thing we really wanted was a lively dance floor, and it was still packed through the last song of the night. We went to a wedding a few weeks after our own in which he had also been hired and the music was again great! Knowing the groom and his musical preferences, you could definitely tell Phil took his input into account, just as he did for our own wedding. It's really apparent that Phil cares about each couple and has such a vast knowledge of music that he can accommodate anyone.

We absolutely loved having Phil from DJ Toad as our DJ at our event. We did their big package which included everything from start to end for ceremony and reception including 20 uplights which made our venue look awesome. As far as the planning process, everything went smoothly. They offer a lot of extra services such as a monogram, slideshows, social media connections and much more. They were willing to hand out glow sticks during the reception and constantly kept the party moving. The price might seem high as first but when you compare to some of the other DJs that start at a base package and then add in everything thing separately they are basically the same price.

We would definitely go with Phil/DJ Toad again.

On our reply card, we asked our guests to write at least one song that would make each of them dance. Our simple request wound up giving DJ Toad a daunting task: a list of 178 songs when there was only time to play, at best, 45 total songs. We discovered the difference between a person who does a task and a person who is an artist: while there was no way to seamlessly play all 178 songs, DJ Toad mixed as many as he could — all without our asking him to do so — and almost everyone heard the full or partial song they requested. So many people commented on the fact that the songs he mixed flowed perfectly into each other. Every decision he made regarding our reception was given serious thought. Not only that, but he coordinated with the photographer, venue, and other vendors to make sure the reception was on course and flowed smoothly through the night. He automatically did so many small things we never anticipated, but each made the night the great success if was. He was exceptionally easy to work with. If you want quality, experience, and thoughtfulness, look no further.

DJ Phil was our DJ for our ceremony and reception. He made everything so easy, and fun! Everything from the planning meeting to the last dance at the reception was perfect. He kept the whole evening on track, had the whole party dancing, and played all our favorite songs. He was very flexible and went out of his way to track down some rare song requests we had. We saw some friends a few weeks after the wedding, and they made a point to tell us how much they liked our DJ! :)

Fantastic selection and knowledge of music. Right when people would try to leave the dance floor, here came a tune everyone had to stay for. I could tell he really knew what he was doing when it came to reading the crowd.
I actually questioned how good they would be because of the name (sorry guys), but they are very professional and I'm really glad we hired them. I personally have never been to a wedding with a better DJ than them.

One of my biggest worries for our wedding was an empty dance floor. I'd been to plenty of boring weddings. DJ Phil really knows how to read a room! Our dance floor NEVER emptied. He kept our party flowing. He made sure we were on time. We completely put our trust in him and were not disappointed.

Finding the right DJ was incredibly important to us as both of our families love to dance. In addition, we knew that the right DJ would be able to keep the timeline of the evening moving and all of us on track with speeches, dances and cake cutting. DJ Phil was awesome! He deejayed our wedding at Miami of Ohio (Oxford Community Art Center) in June. Since I was planning the wedding from out of town (I live in Chicago), we were unable to meet with Phil until the day of the wedding. However, I never worried once about the music. We filled out a form that gave Phil a few songs we wanted (first dance, parent dances, etc.) and he took the rest and went with it. The dance floor was packed the entire night. Everyone had a great time. I even had a couple brides-to-be approach me after the wedding and ask for our playlist! Would definitely recommend Phil for your wedding day! He was the BEST!

DJ Phil was excellent. He was easy to work with before and during the wedding and very professional throughout. The sound and music for the outdoor ceremony were flawless (better than other outdoor weddings we've attended). For dinner and dancing he did a great job using our playlist but also reading our tastes and the room to choose other songs. He quickly figured out our preferences for the general atmosphere of the day and helped make everything smooth and super fun. He's a pro.

We hired DJ Phil for our wedding day, and I could not have asked for a better DJ. Phil was very easy to work with, and the day was completely flawless in the music department (in all departments, but this is the one you care about :)). People have told me that our wedding was the best party they have been to in such a long time, and I would definitely say that Phil was a big part of this. We gave him like a 2 song "Do Play List," but the dance floor was full at all times. He also did a fabulous job of screening song requests - played the awesome ones, and pretended to not have the group dances (per our request). I would and have recommended him to all of my friends and family. Thanks again!!

As the groom, the DJ was one of my few responsibilities and I was extremely picky about our choice. DJ Phil was absolutely perfect for our wedding. From the get go he was extremely helpful and responsive and very accommodating. We had a strict no play list and also a list of songs we liked and he followed this to a T. Any request I had during my wedding he instantly made it happen, and when we weren't around the dance floor it was still packed! Which was one of my concerns, but he did a phenomenal job! Also, there was a weird request with my sister singing the Mother/Son song and he was more than willing to work with us on this and it turned out perfect. If you want to have an AWESOME party for your reception, go see DJ Phil, because that is exactly what Shelby and I wanted, and he made it happen. Thanks again Phil!

DJ Phil was simply amazing! As soon as we met with him for our first consultation, my wife and I knew he was the man for the job. My wife knows her music and likes a much wider range of artists and genres than me. During our first consultation, she tested Phil with a few off-the-wall songs and, not only did Phil know the exact songs she was referencing, he knew of other songs in the same vein/theme.
During our second, and final, consultation, Phil noticed that we had a James Bond theme going for our dinner music and he offered to try to make the monogram (extra charge) have the Bond rifling effect. Toad and Phil made this happen and it looked amazing. What a value-add and a great touch! Before the reception, he also suggested that my wife and I get introduced to the Bond theme song (instead of Happy that the wedding party would be introduced to). We went with the idea and it turned out to be a really fun suggestion.
An important thing to note about Phil is that he sticks to your DO NOT PLAY list religiously. I have heard of situations where the DJ ended up playing most, if not all, of the songs on a couple’s NO PLAY list. We put songs like chicken dance, hokey pokey, electric slide etc. on our list and DJ Phil stuck to that list in spite of my sisters, aunts, cousins et al. (and even a $100 bribe!). He even said no to me when my sister brought me up to him to request the chicken dance (although he whispered for me to come back without her if I really wanted it). Phil really wants you to have no regrets about your day and we certainly did not!
I could go on (he is very responsive and professional as well), but I will simply say that all of our guests (even the ones who really wanted the chicken dance) had a fantastic time and we would hire him (DJ Toad Productions) again in a heartbeat!

We absolutely loved working with DJ Toad. He was so easy to work with and put on a great party! Everyone loved dancing to his music, watching the jib jabs he created (in the background at the reception), and wearing some white glasses frames he brought and passed out later in the night. DJ Phil was THE BEST! Our wedding was months ago and people are still talking about him! He plays a great mix of music for all generations. He was very attentive to our needs and requests, super personable and flexible. From our first meeting with him he was the vendor we felt most at ease with. Being a bride from out of town (live in Columbus but had the wedding in Oxford) he was very accommodating and let us complete meetings via Skype, email and phone. I've told all my engaged Columbus friends if they want him at their wedding I'll personally put him up at our home because he's worth every penny!
DJ Toad Productions truly has their process down to a science, they set you up with your actual DJ for the day of and you work with them going forward (not the same at other companies where you're assigned someone out of their pool of available folks). They work with you one on one to set up your reception just the way you want it and it's completely fantastic, no middle man to work through or wait on! They have you fill out a day of document so they have all your wedding details in writing to work from that day. They double and triple check spelling of names, titles, pronunciations, etc. which gives you so much less to worry about!
I truly can't say enough good things about DJ Phil, his assistant Andy and the DJ Toad team. They made our reception one that people will reminisce upon for years to come!

Our wedding was on September 13th, 2014 and we couldn't have been happier with the way our music vision was executed flawlessly by DJ Toad. He is really a master at what he does. Our ceremony music was in perfect transition for the processional, tree ceremony and recessional. During the reception, we didn't have to worry about what was happening next, because DJ Toad followed our timeline and executed it just the way we envisioned the evening. We had the time of our life and will be recommending him to any bride, client or friends of friends. Thank you so much DJ Toad! You are amazing!

DJ Phil was wonderful to work with. He was very responsive via email and happy to take our music suggestions and run with them. We heard so many of our favorite songs as well as other music at our reception that kept the dance floor going. I'm so happy he was able to create the party atmosphere we were looking for!

We could not be more grateful for all that DJ Toad did to make our wedding so special. His creativity, professionalism, and flexibility are second to none. We gave him a general idea of our music preferences...which could not be any less similar...and somehow DJ Toad found a way to create a playlilst that kept everyone happy and on the dance floor. Impressive! He was also incredibly helpful with all the logistics! Toad provided a sound system for our officiants and ceremony singer, and he just kept everything flowing, so our guests and bridal party knew what was coming. Thank You DJ Toad!

Will was an amazing addition to our wedding. He was there from beginning to the very end of the night helping with the sound system, music, video, lighting. It was all done in a classy wonderful way that allowed for everyone to enjoy dancing, music, speeches, and the rest of the festivities. He worked well with all of the many requests and created a great mix of music that kept people dancing and having a great time. During our planning meeting with Phil, we were discussing a good time to play a song we had chosen for the young children at our reception. We suggested he play it when the dance floor died down. He just smiled at us and shook his head as if a dying dance floor was not an option. His confidence, professionalism and expertise were so reassuring. Not only was the dance floor full from beginning to end, but the whole night was seamless-everything flowed perfectly. It was by far the best party of our lives and we want to thank Phil for being the sound behind it all. Thank you!!!!!

Phil Francis has to be the best DJ in the Cincinnati area. He was incredibly professional, had very sensible ideas for how to integrate audio into our ceremony and reception, and helped make wedding planning an enjoyable experience. Phil did more than just play music: he essentially stage-managed our entire wedding reception. He kept an eye on the time, made announcements when we needed them, kept in touch with us all evening about what we wanted (without being even slightly intrusive), and made friends with our family and guests. We had two ceremonies, one of which was very unfamiliar to him, and he made sure that we gave him everything he needed to be totally prepared. He also went out of his way to choose music that he suspected we would like; there wasn't a bad song the entire night. In short, you would be making a mistake to hire anyone else.

We were fortunate to work with Will Renfrow for our wedding and he did more than we could have ever imagined! I can't tell you how many compliments we had about how awesome the music selection was--every age group was on the floor dancing and enjoying themselves the entire night. We also got a lot of great comments about the jibjabs Will created with the wedding party faces-hilarious! The best part of having Will as our DJ was his flexibility. The father/daughter dance was a little demanding--we used a video and did a less traditional "routine" and he went with the flow and did everything we asked, even when some of it was last minute! He was very professional and made sure the day went exactly how we wanted. I will recommend Will to everyone I meet that needs a DJ. He is the best!!

Phil Francis from DJ Toad was incredible. He was helpful and easy to work with throughout the planning process, and was absolutely phenomenal the day of our wedding, with countless guests sharing that he was "the best wedding DJ they had ever seen / heard".

Phil was flexible when we had a last-minute logistics change, and simply found a way to make it work. He was organized and professional, but fun and entertaining. We simply could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.

Phil Francis from DJ Toad was worth every penny, and we would hire him again in a second. A big THANK YOU to Phil for a wonderful night that we will never forget!

We had the pleasure of having Phil Francis as our DJ at our recent wedding. We cannot say enough about how wonderful it was to have him there on our special day. Throughout the entire process, he made it so easy - he was always professional and so warm. Phil did such an impeccable job of getting a feel for what we wanted our wedding to feel like; we had complete faith in his abilities and music choices, and rightfully so! He was instrumental in setting a wonderful tone for our reception and transitioning it into party time! Our guests could not stop raving about the music choices, and our friends and family danced the night away. Any guests who had the opportunity to speak with Phil throughout the night were so impressed with how kind and approachable he was. Our wedding reception would simply not have been the same without such a capable DJ, and we are so grateful for how accurately he was able to create a reception that fit my husband and I, our desired wedding vibe, and our guests. We had Willl Renfrow as our DJ for our wedding and I can't recommend him enough!! For our wedding, one of the most important aspects to my husband and I was to have an awesome DJ who kept people out on the dance floor all night. We wanted to have an awesome party. If that is what you are looking for, definitely book Will with DJ Toad. People did not leave the dance floor the ENTIRE night. And I don't mean just a few, it was packed! He did video mixing so there were music videos playing all night, and I had so many people talk about how unique that was and how it really added something to the reception that they had never seen before. He really exceeded my expectations and I could not have been any happier with how our reception turned out. Thank you Will!!

Phil was an absolute pleasure to work with and he nailed it! We basically had only two requests: no hokey group dances and keep the party going. He succeeded on both. My wife's parents are big dancers so we said to keep them out there as long as possible. Phil did a great job of selecting music that had both age groups on the floor. It was packed ALL night ... my wife never left and I only left to grab refills. 100% recommended.

DJ Phil was amazing! After just 2 brief meetings, he totally "got" us and the kind of wedding we wanted to have. He was super flexible, adding songs to his library specifically for us, and kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night. We had so many friends telling us that he was the best wedding DJ they've seen! He even was willing to travel to Columbus for the event at no extra charge.

Along with traditional DJ services (cocktail hour, reception music, announcing the wedding party), Phil was a complete professional. He helped us get the wedding party organized for our entrance, coordinated with us for speeches, and let us know how he was going to do everything. He was so prepared and helped us feel completely at ease that he was going to take care of everything. I would absolutely recommend him for your wedding!

I don't even know where to begin. DJ PHIL IS AWESOME!! If I could give him 10 stars I would, but I had to max out at 5. I sent DJ Phil some songs prior to our wedding, but honestly my main request was for him to keep people on the dance floor. At the end of the night, my friends and family were chanting "1 MORE SONG...1 MORE SONG". He was incredible and played a great mix of old and new songs. In addition to being a great DJ, he was very helpful in lining up the wedding party for the entrance and facilitating all of the speeches in a timely manner. He kept things moving along perfectly. We were in between a band and a DJ, and we're so happy we picked DJ Phil. He comes highly recommended by us.

Keith from DJ Toad's DJ squad was the DJ for our wedding. He was absolutely amazing! I can't say enough great things about his professionalism. We met a few times prior to the wedding and talked multiple times about our vision for the music. My husband and I have very different music taste and DJ Keith was able to get a perfect balance for both of us. He had the entire wedding dancing the entire reception. We hired Keith with DJ TOAD for our wedding. Keith did an excellent job. My partner and I had waited twenty years to get married and really wanted the evening to be special. We wanted to make sure our guests were dancing and having fun the whole evening. Keith exceeded our expectations and had the dance floor full from the start of the dancing until the very end -- people did not want to leave the dance floor! :) One of the most important aspects of a wedding reception is making sure your guests have FUN!!! Keith totally delivered. Very easy to work with, made sure our playlist was honored, worked with fmaily and friends on special requests, and just a great person and DJ. We had so many compliments on Keith. And my mom absolutely loved Keith and moms are always right!

Will was great to work with! I was finishing up school in Tennessee and he was great working with me via email. During our meeting he was very easy going and really listened to the type of music I wanted. At our reception a family member became ill and was actually on the floor. Will kept play soft music until the ambulance came and got the party started for a second time. I couldnt have asked for a better dj! Would deff recommend him to all my bride to be friends!

Without question, the BEST DJ I've ever experienced. Playing in my fair share of wedding bands for over 10 years (each of which truly knew how to get the party flowing), I am always skeptical of hiring any DJ to "play music like a radio". That is not what you get from DJ Toad and his crew. (Will did our event.) Instead, you'll get a very class and classy entertainer who is NOTHING like the radio/pandora/iTunes player. Instead, you get a musician who performs (i.e., mixes) his music videos, taking cues from the dancing crowd on how to proceed. I can tell you, the party was hopping the entire night, despite the warm temperatures. Will did an unbelievable job, even surpassing my lofty expectations and I've received nothing but the highest praise from our guests... which isn't something you normally receive compliments for, so take that for what it's worth. If you haven't seen or experienced a DJ that blew you away, you owe it to yourself (and to your guests) to hire from DJ Toad's crew. (Just go hire Will, would ya?)

I know this is long so bear with me please... Will was also great to work with before the party, responding to emails, phone calls and texts. He prepared a slideshow of our photos to play before the party got started, and easily incorporated our wedding video (our reception was actually a month after the destination wedding ceremony) into the evening's events. All in all, I was truly blown away by Will and his professionalism and ease with which he worked from start to finish. I know you're probably skeptical of such a glowing review, but I promise you, this is truly genuine as I'm the one who just wrote a check for the services. I never thought I'd be so amazed at a DJ in place of a live band, but damn, I was wrong. If you're in the market for a DJ for your event, just hire Will (or someone from DJ Toad's crew) already and sit back and enjoy your party!

Simply the best. They did a great job all around. We had DJ Phil and opted for the evening package at the Hilton including the mounted screens. The dance floor was packed all night long with a handful of selections we gave Phil and plenty that we had him pick on his own. He had the whole reception program and timeline down to a T and did a great job. The screens that we decided to add on a few weeks before the wedding were well worth the additional splurge. Toad & Phil have some music videos they had to go with the music but also have a bunch of movie and youtube montages that they set to the songs -- simply awesome. And in doing that I was able to surprise my groom with a special sentimental video set to a sweet song. A great moment surprising him while we were out dancing.

DJ Phil with DJ Toad productions dj'd my wedding reception. It was honestly so much fun- I can not say enough good things about working with them! I had a meeting prior to the reception where we went over all the special songs for the night and what time everything was scheduled to take place. Phil kept on top of our schedule for cake, toasts, first dances etc.- and when we had to switch a couple of things around he was flexible with that and kept the reception moving along. Phil played a slideshow that I created prior to our entrance which went off with out a hitch and then was able to play music videos through out the night which a lot of my guests enjoyed. He played such a great mix of music all of our guests (young and old) were on the dance floor all night long! I highly recommend Phil and DJ Toad for your reception or event they are very professional and organized- and just know how to throw a great party!

I can’t recommend DJ Toad enough. We were really worried about finding the right DJ, since we’ve been to a lot o f weddings with bad ones. We also didn’t want the typical wedding stuff played, since we have more alternative taste in music. DJ Toad did a great job of mixing the songs we wanted with crowd pleasers so it was a big dance party. I would definitely use DJ Toad again.

Phil was awesome from start to finish. During our meeting with him before the wedding, he took our ideas and really spent the time to understand what we were looking for. He also gave us great feedback as we bounced these ideas off of him. I'm sure most people that have planned a wedding can relate, but sometimes vendors are difficult to get a hold of which can be frustrating. Phil was very responsive to any question we had, and I never had an issue getting ahold of him.

One of our biggest worries was being able to cater to the older group as well as our younger friends. He did an absolutely amazing job playing the right mix of songs. At the end of the night, it seemed like everyone was on the dancefloor, which is exactly what we wanted. Out of all the vendors we used, my wife and I were the most please with Phil. He did a great job, and I highly recommend him.

DJ Phil was amazing at our reception! When we went to meet with Phil before the wedding, he greeted us with a welcoming attitude and a willingness to work with our crazy ideas. Phil is a very flexible DJ and does an outstanding job at keeping things on time. If he has a question he is very quick to ask and keeps you informed on anything and everything that is going on. Phil and Toad both were awesome to work with and I highly recommend their services. Three things that really stood out to me really made them the go to DJ service were: First, Phil went above and beyond to find the song my wife wanted for her father daughter dance. Second, he worked with me (last minute) to put in a video I made for my wife into the line up and lastly he made sure he was there to get my projector all set up so I didn't have to worry about it. Phil made the reception a blast and the pictures of our guests breaking it down on the floor shows that he can hold it down.

Dj Phil was absolutely the best DJ we could have asked for. Not only was he on point with every single thing regarding the reception, he also did our outdoor ceremony which was very nice. He made sure we knew exactly what was to come next and kept us in the loop to make sure we were ready as well. DJ Phil was actually more helpful than I could have ever expected from a DJ. So helpful in fact that he took over with the flow of the wedding because the person at the venue was seriously lacking and virtually non-existent. By no means did he have to do this but he could see we were getting irritated and didn't want us to be stressed on our special day. I honestly could go on and on to how great DJ Phil was, but if I ever have to host an event or need to give a recommendation to anyone for a DJ, he would, without a doubt, be the only DJ I will ever recommend!! Thank you very much DJ Phil, you were absolutely wonderful to work with!!!

DJ Phil was absolutely amazing for our wedding...we could not have been happier. From meeting with us a year in advance, to the email communication and meetings right before, Phil made us completely comfortable with planning such a huge part of ur wedding, the music, from across the country (we live in Denver and got married in Cincinnati). My husband is really into music and was not able to be a part of the meetings, and he couldn't have been more impressed with DJ Phil the night of the wedding. We had very specific requests like playing certain songs at certain times (for example, when the MOB was on the dance floor), etc., and DJ Phil met every single request. He also worked to find songs we asked for the he didn't originally have. We also gave him some freedom to take requests and choose certain songs, and these fit right in with our style. In addition, he was very serious about our Do Not Play List. I want to relive our reception over and over. So do the guests...they all have asked for our playlist from the night. :-)

In the end, if you go with DJ Phil, you are in good hands. :-)

We hired Phil for our Memorial Day Weekend wedding at the Hilton Netherland Plaza (he did the ceremony & reception). He did such a great job that, once midnight rolled around, we had guests begging us to keep him there & continue the reception...so we did! He kept the party going until the hotel turned the lights on.
I would highly recommend Phil to anyone looking for a great DJ. He is personable, pays attention to your needs, is always good at getting back to you (even when you send him 5,000 emails-ha), and he does not wear a sequin vest  …though, I’m sure if you really wanted him to… he would.

Will from DJ Toad made my wedding an amazing event! He and Doug were so professional and they were able to do fun and creative things that made our reception a huge success. They put sound systems on multiple levels of our venue, provided a custome monogram, put cool party lights on our dance floor, made videos to suprise our friends, and more. I am so glad I hired them!

DJ Phil did an amazing job!!!! My husband and I created a list of all the songs we would like to be played at our wedding and he played all of them!!! He also didn't play the songs that were on our "do not play list." He was really attentive to the atmosphere we wanted to create at our wedding and did a great job carrying that out. We had so much fun dancing at our wedding! He was very responsive and met with us a few times to go over the timeline, etc. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ! Thank you!

We had DJ Keith do our wedding, and he was amazing. He played the perfect mix of music, read the crowd really well, and kept people dancing for 3 hours straight. We couldn't have asked for a better experience with our DJ. I highly recommend DJ Keith.

Couldn't have asked for a better DJ! DJ Phil took the time to understand our taste & what we wanted to hear throughout the night. He made sure to play our favorites and stayed away from the not so favorites! DJ Phil had the crowd up and dancing from start to finish and kept things moving smoothly throughout the night. He knew exactly when to transition if some of the crowd started to fade & played the perfect mix of new and old to keep everyone involved and having a great time. Not only did Phil play great music, he also was one of the easiest vendors to work with. His friendly, easy-going attitude was appreciated by all & this was easily one of the least stressful parts of the wedding planning process!

We worked with Keith. He was so easy-going and receptive to our ideas and music choices. The dance floor was alive all night! There were no awkward pauses in the music; the songs transitioned from one to the next flawlessly and we could have danced all night. Music was a very important aspect of our night and we were extremely pleased with Keith's work!!

I honestly cannot say enough great things about DJ Phil! The only thing that made me nervous about planning a wedding, was relying on vendors with whom I'd done no previous business. It is such an important day and even with stellar reviews, it can be tough to take the leap and sign a contract with vendors, especially a vendor as important as your DJ.

After meeting with DJ Phil for our first meeting, I became so excited and had high expectations of the awesome party that would be our reception. Somehow, DJ Phil managed to exceed my high expectations! Simply put - he was amazing.

He did an amazing job of getting everyone out on the dance floor for the entire five-hour reception! From grandparents to college friends, everyone had a great time and just 3 days after my wedding, I'm already receiving rave reviews about DJ Phil!

Phil DJ'ed our wedding and he was absolutely fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about Phil and the services he provided at the reception. He was incredibly responsive and did exactly what we requested. He would promptly respond to emails/calls during the preparation! My husband and I loved having Phil as part of our wedding celebration!

DJ Phil was fantastic! From the first meeting through the end of the reception, he was extremely responsive to anything we needed! He did a fantastic job keeping everything moving, but was flexible enough to make changes if needed. He was able to engage the crowd, which is a must-have skill for a DJ, but sadly one that many lack! The music was fantastic and we received many compliments from our wedding guests. He really listened to what we wanted for our reception and we couldn't be happier! From the dinner music to the dancing, it was all perfect! Thank you!!!

BEST DJ EVER!

I didn't even meet with Toad before the wedding and I already knew he was the right man for the job. We were already convinced he was totally on top of it from day one and we were DEFINITELY proved right.

Toad is nothing less than awesome. He kept the party going, made ALL of the guests happy (parent's friend and our friends). It was seamless. The videos he played were PERFECT for us. Seriously, I still have people talking about it. It was beyond amazing what he was able to pull off.

Don't hesitate; hire the man! He's worth every penny and more! Don't even think about getting a DJ from one of the DJ mills around town. Nothing could possibly compare with what DJ Toad provides for a wedding.

DJ Toad is THE BEST! My husband talked me into splurging on the DJ and I'm so glad that we did because it can make such a huge difference. He is by far the coolest, most professional DJ ever. He was never cheesy, and changed things up to a few hours before our reception since he was so easy to communicate with through email and always responded quickly. He even threw in an extra flat screen TV for us :). He's so awesome -- don't even question it -- just book him!

Phil was great!! He did an awesome job keeping our reception on track and letting me know when it was time to do our first dance ect. We let him know what kind of music we like and then let him do his thing , and he nailed it! Everyone loved the music videos playing and had a blast dancing! I would definitly recommend Phil!! He knows what he's doing and you can tell he loves djing! :)

Absolutely wonderful!!! These guys were great! The really fed off what everyone seemed to like and dance to and just kept playing that kind of music. They were so fun as well!! If I ever need a DJ for anything else DJ Toad will definitely be my first choice!!

DJ Phil did a fantastic job! He was well organized and made sure the order of events at the reception ran smoothly, including our bridal party's entrance in 4 convertibles to the outdoor pavillion at Pyramid Hill Sculpture Park. The music was great and our guests really enjoyed it!

We recently had our wedding reception at Sycamore Creek Country Club, and DJ Phil was great. We met with him about one month prior to the event and went over our playlists with him. He was extremely professional and very easy to work with. At the wedding, he played everything we wanted to hear and, more importantly, he didn't play anything on our "do not play" list. DJ Phil knew how to get people off their feet and he kept them dancing all evening. The dance floor was always packed! He also was very knowledgeable when it came to making the reception flow, and had great input for when to do the first dance, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. The other positive about DJ Phil is that he isn't one of those egomaniac DJs who always has their mouth open trying to steal the show. He made announcements when he had to, but focused more on playing music and keeping the party alive. We definitely recommend DJ Phil to anyone who wants to have a great wedding reception. He is without a doubt one of the best DJs we've ever seen...and we've been to A LOT of weddings! We're glad he did our wedding!

DJ Phil was with us all night as we celebrated at the Elements Event Centre. There we took full advantage of the movie screens and what DJ Toad/ staff had to offer. After the "important" stuff we danced all night to music videos on stock to go along with the music!! The dancefloor overflowed the entire night! Everything went so smooth! We did not have many specifications (I think) in what music we wanted played, I am sure not making it easy on Phil! And as much as this is very important!...What I loved the most was how well Phil directed the night. He checked in with me and Doug before the everything started to see how the wedding went, as welll as throughout the night to see how things were going and if there was anything we needed or he could do. That hospitality in itself is more than I would have ever considered having in a DJ. NEedless to say DJ Phil did an amazing job and I could not be anymore happy!!!

We had our wedding reception at the Bell Event Centre, and DJ Phil was wonderful! He was very knowledgeable in terms of what to do when and was also familiar with the venue. He kept the dance floor packed all night! He was very nice/friendly to work with as well as professional. We would highly recommend him to others looking for someone to DJ their wedding!

DJ Phil was great! We had our wedding at Ault Park this past June and the dance floor was packed the entire evening! We provided Phil with a general list of music (artists and songs) to play for the cocktail hour and the dinner hour and he played everything we asked for. The dinner hour one of my favorite times of the evening listening to these special songs that we picked out. He took requests from our guests, some of which were definitely not on the top 40 list and he had them all! He played a great mix of indie, top 40 / pop, classics etc....something for everyone. All of the guests have been raving about the music and have asked us for details on the DJ to keep on file :) DJ Phil is professional and a great vendor to work with. I recommend his services to anyone looking for a great party!

We used DJ Phil for our wedding this past Saturday and couldn't be more pleased. He did everything we asked and more. We have worked with a lot of vendors over the last few months and Phil was the best one of all of them. He was easy to work with, on time, quick to get back to us with answers, and an overall great guy. It is hard to find a vendor that meets one of those criteria let alone all of them. We were SO pleased with Toad as were our guests! DH and I have pretty eclectic taste in music and aren’t really in to top 40 and pop music so we were a little nervous about the type of music that might be played by a DJ, but Toad exceeded our expectations. We met with him for about 2 hours a few weeks before the wedding to talk music and he really understood what we liked and what we disliked.

Our guests were split about 50/50 with young people, and old people and he was able to get almost everyone on the dance floor and keep everyone dancing all night. We got so many compliments from our guests about how great of a job he was doing. We really could not have asked for a better DJ for our wedding.

DJ Rabbit (Keith, of the DJ Toad Productions team) DJ-ed my wedding back in September of 2010. I was a pretty hands-off bride, so I put all my trust in him as a DJ. Keith made my wedding everything I wanted it to be and more! Throughout the process I told Keith that I trusted him to pick out quite a bit of the music himself, just gave him a little idea of what my fiancé's and my families were like and told him to take that information and run with the music, including our bridal party introduction songs. He had songs that I never would've even thought of, but that were more than perfect! He customized the music to reflect perfectly on who my husband and I are as a couple and gave our wedding the exact feel we wanted it to have, even my 78 year-old grandfather was dancing! Forget that I had a mother-in-law who was trying to control WAY TO MUCH and a venue that got everything SO WRONG, it was because of Keith that everyone had a BLAST and I continue to still hear stories from friends and family about how much fun they had! I would recommend Keith for any type of event to anyone. He truly knows how to appeal to all age groups simultaneously and how to make everyone get on their feet!

It's been three months since our wedding and people are still talking about our awesome DJ!! We couldn't have been happier with DJ Toad!! He was very dependable and fulfilled our expectations. His associate, Steve, played music at our ceremony and the timing of the songs was on point. All of the songs we requested at the reception were played exactly when we wanted them to be. He did an excellent job of mixing up music genres and playing unique mash-ups and current tunes. Toad even went above and beyond by posting text messages from our guests on the flat screen TVs congratulating us. Because of his experience, he knew exactly what people wanted to hear. The dance floor was full the entire night! I highly recommend him.

DJ Toad was great! He listened to what we wanted to hear and really did a great job mixing that in with current hits. We originally booked his lower priced package, but Toad didn't have anything else, and played our wedding himself for no extra cost. I was really impressed with what he played (nothing cheesy!) and how professionally he acted during the reception.
