  We like they take the time to meet you before the wedding. They give you helpful suggestions on the ceremony for example ours was outdoors and they suggested the sand ceremony instead of the unity candle as the candle would not stay lit outside. They allow you to do things as you would like. The day of the wedding we were running late, but they didn't seem to be worried or rush things. They took the time to explain what we were suppose to do. It was raining when the ceremony was suppose to start and they were willing to wait until it stopped so we could have the ceremony outside. During the ceremony Wendy stood in the back and helped to direct everyone how to walk down. We had many compliments on how relaxed the ceremony was and what a good job Tom did. We would highly recommend them to any family or friends.

  Having been to a few wedding ourselves we personally thought the Pastor Tom's ceremony matched who we are to a T. Tom and Wendy's customer service was enlightening, fun and full.
  
  We became great friends and will be keeping in touch with them.
  We have heard from a few guests that this was the greatest ceremony they'd ever been to.

  Rev. Tom and Wendy Henley were absolutely wonderful to work with. We had to bump up our wedding date for family and they made sure to accomodate us. The information they provide to plan your wedding ceremony is great and effortless. They made our day truly special!

  Rev. Tom and Wendy were excellent service providers before and on my wedding day. The emotional and spiritual support they gave me as a nervous and stressed bride through the whole wedding planning process was great. I highly recommend them. They totally go up and beyond regular officiant duties!

  Rev. Tom and Wendy were a great pleasure to work with from beginning to end.   Reverand Tom Henley and Reverand Wendy Henley performed our wedding ceremony for us on Valentine's Day 2009. They were exceptional ministers and have become lifelong friends. We found them online and they responded to our email immediately and arranged a personal meeting. At our first meeting we immediately connected with them as they are open, honest, and loving people. Their sense of humor brought lightheartedness to our rehearsal and our ceremony. The ceremony options they offer are endless and beautiful and working with them was so easy and fun. They are open to any ideas, flexible, and personalized the ceremony so it fit us as a couple perfectly. Rev. Tom and Rev. Wendy made themselves available to help with anything that we needed, even things not having to do with the actual ceremony. The advice they have given us has helped our relationship to blossom and everyone who attended our ceremony has told us that it was the most beautiful ceremony they have ever been to. Also, we have been told that everyone felt included and surrounded by love due to Rev. Tom and Rev. Wendy. They manage to combine love, humor, spirituality and professionalism. Our family and friends have all remarked that they were part of the family from the moment they met Rev. Tom and Rev. Wendy. Everyone had a wonderful time at our meetings, talking on the phone, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner, and the ceremony. We would recommend WT Henley Ministries to everyone that is looking for a minister or officiant or just wants to find a ministry that they can truly feel a part of. Thank you Rev. Tom and Rev.   Reverend Henley was wonderful and was able to perform our ceremony on a one day notice. He and his wife even found witnesses for our ceremony and made it feel as special had we planned for months. Highly recommended!

  Rev Tom and Wendy are wonderful people to work with. They helped make our wedding day everything that we wanted it to be. We are so happy with how everything turned out, it was everything that Dana and I dreamed of. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone.

  We were very pleased with our wedding ceremony. It was personalized just for us, which was just what we wanted:) It was an easy process as well, and we feel like we made the right decision going with Rev. Tom Henley as our officiant.

  The Henley's were nice, but during my wedding there were a few times that they crossed the line... On the day of my wedding I didn't want to have to worry about anything... but I felt like I had to keep an eye on them.
  Rev. Henley used his own Bible verse instead of mine during the ceremony without my knowledge.. I did not know there was a change until he read it during the ceremony. I'm a very laid back person, so normally this wouldn't have upset me. BUT I stressed to the Henley's that my parents are very religious and to respect how they raised me I would only use the verses and version that they preferred. I didn't think this was to much to ask.
  Mrs. Henley also yelled and stepped in to my wedding planner's way on two separate occasions. She seemed to think she was in charge and it just wasn't comfortable for me or my wedding party... especially my wedding planner! Who was very sweet to them both; no matter how the treated her. We paid my wedding planner WAY more for having to put up with it and for being the bigger person.
  On two occasions they talked badly about other couples they had married, a wedding planner, and a photographer. I didn't think that was very professional at all.
  My husband and I both agree if we could have changed anything, we would have selected someone else to perform our ceremony.
  I hope this doesn't offend, but I think it should be known.

  Hello,
  I am writing to leave feedback about this post. I was looking for an officiant for our wedding as our family friend, who is a pastor, had already been booked up that day. We found Rev Tom & Wendy Henley on this web site. I talked to Wendy on the phone once about our wedding. She asked me to send them a $30 deposit to reserve the date and we would set up a meeting time. Wendy was very nice and I enjoyed our conversation. I had interactions with Tom over email and sent them my $30 deposit along with the reservation form they asked me to sign. We set up a date to meet at Perkins in Sioux Falls. In the mean time, our family friend got someone to stand in for him so he could do our wedding. We decided to meet with Tom & Wendy anyway, and if they were as pleasant as they seemed in person, we would just use them anyway. However, the day came and we waited at Perkins for forty-five minutes. Tom and Wendy never showed up. When I emailed them, Tom explained that Wendy had been laid up and I must have not received their email that they would not be coming (although I had received every email from them previously?). I told them that I hoped she would be okay and I would be praying for them. I then asked if they would mind if used our family friend instead. They said that was fine and would refund the $30 deposit since we never met. I never received the refund. After waiting several months, I decided I would send him an email regarding this. He apologized and said they would cut the check that Friday and it would be in the mail. Again, the check never came. After waiting another month or so, I emailed again. This time I got no response. I am not worried about the $30 as it is a small amount. However, it is VERY POOR business practice. Especially by a "Reverend." They never showed up to our meeting and I still have yet to see the refund. I believe this posting of "services" to be a SCAM and would like to advise against using them. Who knows if they would have actually showed up to our wedding?!? I guess God was watching out for us there! At any rate, I would advise against their services and hope they do not turn someone’s "happiest day of their life" into a nightmare. Thank you!
