Jill wrote the most amazing script for our ceremony. Unfortunately, we were not able to have her as our officiant but we contacted her after finding ourselves disappointed with the generic scripts that were being offered by our officiant. Her process was simple and we really enjoyed working with her. We told her a bit about ourselves and a few short days later she had produced the most incredible, personalized script. She was willing to revise as much as we wanted but it was completely unnecessary. Her ceremony script exceeded all of our expectations and made our (average) officiant sound amazing!! Her rates are great; we would have happily paid more for her service and would recommend Jill to any couple that wants an unforgettable ceremony.Write Weddings's reply:

We feel so incredibly grateful to have had Jill Meyer as our officiant for our wedding day. From the very first conversation, she brought warmth, professionalism, and a genuine sense of care that made the entire process seamless and meaningful.
Jill took the time to get to know us as a couple and truly understood what we wanted for our ceremony, something heartfelt, personal, and authentic. The script they crafted perfectly captured who we are, balancing romance, joy, and a touch of humor that felt exactly right. So many of our guests commented afterwards on how beautiful and moving the ceremony was, and how it felt like it had been written just for us—which, of course, it was.
On the day itself, Jill created such a calm and loving atmosphere. Standing up there with them guiding us through the most important moment of our lives gave us so much comfort. We’ll always remember the way they spoke with clarity and presence, making every word feel special.
We cannot recommend Jill highly enough to any couple looking for someone who will go above and beyond to create a ceremony that is personal, memorable, and full of heart. We will cherish the gift they gave us forever.

Jill was a wonderful officiant for our wedding. Her process is straight forward, and easily customizable. She is down to earth, and helped make our day special without getting overly involved. Jill was the PERFECT officiant and truly made our wedding ceremony so special. It was a very personal, emotional, and touching ceremony and all of our guests were noting how intimate and personal it felt. It was magic!!!

Wedding officiant
Jill was amazing! We filled out a form about our history and our background together as a couple.. It was really nice to have a ceremony that wasn’t just the standard. She took what we said and incorporated it into such a beautiful ceremony. She sent us a draft before the ceremony to make sure we liked it and added/took whatever we wanted. We knew we booked the right officiant when we learned Jill was also officiating the wedding of our wedding coordinator at Wychmere Beach Club! Jill is a master of words and did a fantastic job creating a ceremony that fit our style. After filling out a questionnaire with details about our relationship, Jill sent us a draft of the ceremony to see if we had any feedback. We were blown away at how she weaved the story of our relationship into the formalities of the ceremony. After sending back a few revisions and a request to integrate lyrics from my favorite song, Jill checked in again to see if the second draft was satisfactory. On the day of the wedding, Jill delivered the ceremony with grace and ease. Our guests were so impressed with how personal and modernized the ceremony was, veering away from the traditional vows and including the reading “The Art of Marriage”. I can’t wait to print the beautiful ceremony and frame it somewhere in our home. Thank you Jill for making our ceremony so special!

Wonderful!
Jill is wonderful to work with. She took maternity photos for me last year so this year when my husband and I decided on a last minute elopement, we knew she was the one we wanted to perform our ceremony. She made us feel comfortable and really made our day extra special. Perfection!!
What better way to exchange vows than on a family vacation on the cape, as a SURPRISE?!?
