We can't recommend Jarred's music enough! He created the most wonderful & fun atmosphere on our wedding night. Jarred and his accompanying percussionist Mark, which Jarred recommended and we were thrilled to have the duo, are incredibly talented musicians. The music was at just the right volume over dinner with awesome covers & original song choices. The energy of the music increased naturally until it had everyone up and dancing the night away :) Jarred is very professional with quick and clear communication which made it super easy. Our guests still talk about them months later. So much gratitude to you Jarred & Mark! -

Jarred was amazing! We were lucky enough to have Jarred play for our ceremony and cocktail reception, and then our actual dinner reception that followed along with his fellow musician Mark who is a great drummer. We don't usually leave reviews but we know what it's like trying to plan for the big day and I can honestly say that Wood & Stone was the best music choice we could have made for our wedding. We got so many compliments on the music, people were dancing until the very end and our guests even begged them to do an encore! Jarred was so easy to work with, the correspondence and Skype calls made the music planning super simple for us. We got to pick some new songs for him to learn and they were amazing. Also helped that we were able to pick songs from his list on his website. Seeing 3 generations of our families dancing to some classic songs was priceless. Really can't stress just how happy we were with it all, the music definitely helped make our wedding so much fun! -

Jarred is amazing! I was all over the place with my planning and took forever to get him my song lists and he was still so accommodating. I had him do a few covers of older music not in his repertoire for my wedding and they were incredible. My guests were so impressed with his abilities and I'm so glad that we chose him to perform the music at our wedding! I would recommend him time and time again! -

I wanted to do something different than the typical barbecue for my husband’s 42 birthday. We both love live music and we love dancing. I started searching online for a musician for my husband’s party. I came across a few performers but none of them seemed like a good fit for us. We like Soul, R&B, pop type of music so I was very happy when I came across Jarred’s website. I contacted him via text message and I got a reply from him within minutes. He instructed me where to go to look over his playlist and choose the songs that I like and don’t like. His playlist should be patented (if that were even possible), it is so good! I stayed up most of the night listening to his songs selection. It was hard to narrow down the list since all of the songs are amazing! I was a bit stressed out from planning the party (which I wanted to be perfect for my husband), taking care of our 3 very young kids and working all at the same time but Jarred made me feel at ease that my event will be a success. He quickly answered each one of my texts and he was very professional and patient with me throughout the whole process. When he came to our party everything fell into place. His performance was absolutely awesome. He is extremely talented and very easy going. My husband and our guests loved him and kids and grown ups were all dancing and having the best of time. Jarred gave us a memorable night! I would definitely hire Jarred again for another event in the future and I would highly recommend him to anyone who wants to break from the routine and have some real fun. Thank you Jarred for your amazing performance!

Jarred and his drummer (Mike?) played a long acoustic set for our wedding in the backyard of a house about 1 hour west of Waikiki. Jarred also played the music as my now wife walked down the aisle.
I cannot state clearly enough how easy it was to work with Jarred in advance of the wedding. He was timely, responsive, helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our requirements. Picking our set list was exceptionally easy, he had a great song list and was more than generous in learning some Australian songs that we were dying to hear.
As for their performance and the quality of his voice. Wow. Absolute highlight of the day.
I had been looking a long time for a band that wasn't cheesy and that didn't have just mediocre ability and I really struggled. There was only 1 other performer on Maui I was interested in and he was booked. Seriously. I was really concerned we weren't going to find someone up to the calibre I was looking for.
Wood & Stone delivered in spades. Jarred and Mike played slower songs during the dinner service and then ramped up to get everyone on the dancefloor for the party after dinner. Jarred also nailed the Lumineers song we had requested as my wife walked down the isle. He dressed the part and was completely professional on the night. He also provided us with some extra equipment at the last minute, which saved us for the speeches and the ceremony.
I am notoriously hard pressed to give a 5 out of 5 to all but the very best and I have no hesitation giving it to Wood & Stone. If you are lucky enough to find him available for your function, please do yourself a favour and book them.

This small group added a great relaxing ambiance to my wedding reception. Equally capable of making announcements, playing in the background or for a first dance, they were very flexible. Soul, bluegrass and calmer music are what we heard mostly, I had a few requests by Ben Harper, Otis Redding and others that he played for us. They also played some lively acoustic songs, so it seems like they could play just about anything you request. Very reasonable price you pay for such a talented group, and they were perfectly professional and very aware of what needs to be done or said. I'd recommend them to anyone. -

Wood and Stone offers an exceptional selection of songs for mellow or high energy events/weddings. I've seen their live performances numerous times in California and Hawaii. Jarred's personal style to soul/blues/pop/r&b songs, as well as his original music, stand out against your typical musician. Jarred is very professional, talented, and has high integrity with his clients. I highly recommend checking him out! -

Jarred, of Wood and Stone provided the music during my wedding ceremony, and for the reception. A very talented professional musician who played romantic, acoustic renditions of our favorite music while our guests enjoyed their meal. Our venue was a very small, fine dining resturant with no room for a dance floor. Regardless, the music was perfect for setting the comfortable, romantic atmosphere we were looking for. That being said, my husband and I have seen the Jarred play at several venues in Southern California. His genere includes Blues, Classical Rock and Roll, Country, and Pop. He is very talented singer/song writer that will definetly entertain your guests. Five star! -
