We had a great experience with Wolfert's Roost Country Club, and we are so glad we were able to hold our reception there! They made the process incredibly seamless and stress-free, and were extremely professional and accommodating. As soon as we met up with Stephanie at Wolfert's Roost, we knew we had found our venue - after visiting 20+ venues, Wolfert's felt like home. From the moment we discussed our vision, Stephanie was one step ahead. She was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and creative. Throughout the whole process, Stephanie understood my vision and would also respectfully give me honest input based on her experience. Our wedding reception went great. Everyone was incredibly impressed, from the building to the decor to the staff and service. Stephanie made sure to have a space set up for the wedding party upon arrival, so we were able to enjoy the cocktail hour snacks (the tempura shrimp was amazing)!. We even had a server stop by to bring us drinks while we prepared to be announced. It was a hit! The food was absolutely delicious, and many of my guests have gone out of their way to share how much they loved their meals! My only complaint about the whole experience is that when the staff cleared my untouched dinner plate, no one thought to box mine up to go! It looked absolutely delicious :)

We had a beautiful reception at Wolfert's Roost! JoAnn was great to work with during the planning process and helped us put together a reception that our guests are still raving about. Beautiful decor, nice big dance floorm excellent service, delicious food and they were even able to handle special dietary requests without a problem. They even let us come in the day before the wedding to practice our first dance. (Note: We had an afternoon reception -- many of our guests had only been to the Roost at night and had never seen the incredible view out the window before!) So gorgeous and our only regret is that the day flew by so quickly. Thank you to everyone at Wolfert's Roost for making our wedding day a dream come true!

We picked the Roost as our venue for both our ceremony and reception and we could have been be happier with our choice. After visiting a few other venues and feeling like people were more interested in our wallet than in what we wanted, the Roost was the obvious choice for us. The venue is beautiful, the grounds are gorgeous, so are the dining room used for the ceremony and the reception room. They also have a great patio off of the bar area that our guests enjoyed very much. I must say that one of the best things about the Roost is that the prices they give you already include taxes and gratuity. It's a little thing that made a huge difference for us, it was so much easier to have an idea of what we were getting ourselves into! At the time we booked the Roost, the manager was Don. He sat with us for as long as we needed and made us feel very comfortable. The new wedding manager is Joann and we were just as pleased with her as we were with Don. She handled our wedding wonderfully and all of our guests were delighted! The food was amazing, people still come and rave to me about it. Joann and her staff took paid attention to details and everything turned out beautifully. The prices are reasonable, the service is impeccable, and Joann really made us feel at home. I could not thank her enough for helping make our wedding day as perfect as we could have hoped for!

Wolferts Roost Country Club is such a beautiful venue. They were so wonderful to work with throughout the entire planning process and our reception was fantastic. If anything did go wrong we had no idea! They were very smooth and attentive. The food was wonderful and we were very pleased with the service and assistance they provided throughout the day.

Amazing!!!!! From the first meeting with Don to the last he was wonderful to work with! Our wedding day was perfect! Food was delicious! Our guests even commented after that everything was served warm!! Don was extremely accommodating and flexible... always seeing if there is anything else we needed! Thanks to Don and his staff we definitely had our dream wedding!!

Not only is the venue beautiful but the staff is wonderful. Thanks to Don the GM at Wolfert's Roost CC our day went off without a hitch. Don's experience, courteousness, and guidance helped in so many ways. Thanks to Don, Patty and Peg I and my guests were able to sit back and have a great time celebrating my wedding day. I am so happy I called Wolfert's Roost and had my wedding at this venue.

If I could rate higher then a 5 on all of them I would. Don and his team did not miss any detail. Don was so great to work with. He is very professional and made my day perfect. The service was great and the food was awesome. I HIGHGLY recommend Wolferts Roost!

Our wedding at the Roost was amazing, I could not have asked for a better venue or person to work with. Don at the Roost was amazing; he was very professional, patient, and fun!! We did not have any doubts when we booked with Don and his staff; we knew unlike other venues we had looked at that there was no BS – he clearly had tax, gratuity and other charges laid out for us.

Wolfert's Roost was absolutely perfect for our reception.
Don the Manager has been doing this so long (and he will tell you this) and is like a drill sargent the night of!
I had my doubts about it with the first couple meetings, but Don, Peggy & Joanne were absolutely amazing. They make sure the bride, groom, & company are all well taken care of.
All the little details are not to be worried about because they take care of it.

Don also went above & beyond when we had an issue with one of our vendors (Saratoga Photobooth). It was not working, the attendant was nowhere to to be found. Don & our DJ were in the photobooth trying to fix it, which was not something that they should have had to worry about.

All the guests thought the food was delicious, and that the room was beautiful.
I can't say enough good things. It was a perfect night mainly because of them!

When my fiance, my parents and I went looking for a place to hold our reception, we looked at several places. The Roost not only was a beautiful room, overlooking the golf course with exceptional views of the Berkshires, it was also a fantastic value compared to the other (not quite as nice) venues we looked at. We opted for the governors package, which was the least expensive but still offered more than any of the other venues. Tax and gratuity was already included as was 5 hours of premium open bar and valet service,there were no hidden fees whatsoever. The food was outstanding and we received a lot of compliments (and not so subtle hints that some of our engaged friends were looking into the venue as well) Don Edmonds was fantastic with a great sense of humor and did a wonderful job, even though I'm a red sox fan... I would totally recommend the Roost to anyone!

Our wedding at Wolferts Roost was amazing. Beyond the standard of professionalism, Don went out of his way to make sure that everything went smoothly and checked in to ask if we needed anything to drink/eat. The room was set up perfectly, everything was exactly what we had discussed, and when we had a few last minute changes, Don and his staff accomodated us 100%. The Roost is a beautiful venue, and our guests kept commenting on the room as well as that the food was the best they'd ever had at a wedding. I have to agree with our guests- the food was exceptional and the bar service was top notch.

Wolferts Roost was an amazing place to have our wedding! The entire day was perfect and Don was there every step of the way to guide us and make sure we were taken care of. From carrying my drinks to coordinating with my other vendors i felt very confident that things would be taken care of and things would go as they should. I would highly recommend them to any bride looking for a great wedding venue!

We had an incredible wedding at Wolferts Roost. The staff was wonderful and the price for the overall value of the wedding was extremely reasonable. The setting is beautiful and I would recommend this venue for any event!

I really enjoyed having my wedding at Wolfert Roost. They did a beautiful job the day of. I did find planning with them a little tough at times because the event planner can have a lot going on. However, I was very happy I went with them for my wedding day. They did a beautiful job. I loved that the venue is beautiful enough for photos and it was my backup spot in case it rained the day of the wedding. I loved that the space for the cocktail hour was open to a patio outside and I liked the cocktail space connected to the dining area. The food was really good and they did a nice job with the timing of each event. I would recommend this venue for a reception as it was perfect for our wedding day.

Our reception at Wolferts Roost was beautiful! We used the large room on the second floor, and the view of the golf course was great. My guests also loved the balcony off to the side of the bar for enjoying the weather and a cigar. The food was a great value, everyone raved about the quality AND the quantity. And they even let us take the leftover desserts home! Don was fabulous at answering all of our questions and helping us set everything up and even helped with the dinner service. Couldn't have asked for more!

Overall: We searched a ton of reception locations in the Capitol district, when we met Don at Wolferts Roost we were sold! He answered all of our questions, and even pointed us towards local vendors that he recommends for cakes, djs, and transportation. It is a beautiful venue and their all in one price made planning so much easier. They don't nickel and dime you for extra forks, lights, glasses, etc like some of the area venues do. Unfortunately about 3 weeks before our June wedding Don resigned. Joann, his temporary replacement did a fine job and the night went great. But I did miss that extra special touch that Don added. We had 100 guests, and even though the ballroom is very large the place looked great! Not too big, definitely not crowded and our guests loved the outdoor patio. I would highly recommend Wolferts Roost to any bride!
Food: Being the bride, I didn't have much time to sit down and eat but the red pepper bisque was out of this world amazing!
Price: They have a couple levels for their weddings. At the time of our wedding they were $90/$110/$120 per person (I believe).

Wolfert's Roost was wonderful to work with! After hearing that our original wedding coordinator had left we were worried about seeing our vision put into action. However, Joanne stepped up and made the day better than we could have imagined. I kept telling everyone that it was like she was in my mind because she set everything up exactly the way I had pictured. The only issue I had was that we were originally told that someone would bring my husband and I drinks while photos were being taken around the grounds, but that never happened. With it being a hot day I thought it a little crazy that we had to ask to have water brought to us. Other than that everything went smooth and beautiful and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone.
