    Great florist to work with!

    I hired Wish and Whimsy floral for my wedding (May 2021). I loved working with Whitney. She quickly understood what I was looking for in my florals and provided a proposal. She was very easy to work with and was flexible when I kept changing things. The florals were beautiful and I was very happy with them! She was very professional, but also down to earth. We even got a little creative with the florals at the ceremony site and did something different and it turned out great! I highly recommend hiring Whitney for all of your wedding floral needs!

    WONDERFUL wedding florist

    Don't even get me started on Whitney. She is seriously SO amazing at what she does. Her and I have worked together on many weddings and photo shoots, and I have to say she is one of my favorites. She is always so sweet and her work is beautiful. Highly highly highly recommend this lady and Wish & Whimsy.

    Beautiful Work!

    Whitney was amazing! She took just a few of my inspiration photos and made my vision a reality. Wish and Whimsy was extremely flexible with pricing, and helped me stay within my budget while also making sure that my flowers were beautiful and exactly what I wanted. I feel like she practically read my mind. I gave her "artistic license" and she delivered! My wedding just would not have been the same had I not hired Wish and Whimsy to do my flowers.

    Dream Florist

    We hired Wish and Whimsy less than a month before our wedding.

    Whitney accommodated my request to not have a flower in sight because they remind me of funerals. She was responsive to all my emails. I appreciate that the quote she sent was extremely organized and it explained what we're paying for.

    On the day of our wedding, Wish and Whimsy's team made my vision come to life. Everything was beautiful. I felt like I was walking into my dream space. She even made a last minute change on my wedding day to make sure that everyone was catered to. I would definitely hire Wish and Whimsy again.

    Perfect experience working with Whitney @ Wish and Whimsy!

    I feel beyond lucky that my wedding planner recommended Wish and Whimsy Floral! Whitney created the vision for our wedding's florals when all I had were a few photos of bouquets that I liked. I did not pick colors for my wedding, and instead wanted an eclectic color palette. She designed a color palette based on my favorite photo and identified various flower and greenery types that would fit within that palette and our budget.

    Whitney blew me away with how she was able to execute on this vision. I was interested in using bronze vases, but figured it would never happen in my budget. Whitney was able to get her hands on some which really elevated the look of the dinner tables! She was also able to pull together cylindric taper candle encasings when we realized that the venue wouldn't allow open flames. What a life saver!

    My venue was also very specific on arrival and setup times, giving her only about an hour and a half to get 20+ tables decorated, the ceremony space, a fountain, a fireplace and various miscellaneous decorative touches. She and her team arrived on time and seamlessly set everything up.

    Whitney was friendly, flexible, professional and always just a text message away! Months later, I'm still receiving compliments on the flowers from our wedding. Everything was beautifully executed!

    Wish and Whimsy exceeded my expectations!

    My wedding was stunning! Whitney did such a great job on my florals. She was so helpful! My guests couldn’t stop complimenting the flowers and decorations. Wish and Whimsy are not overpriced like so many florists are. Use them!! You won’t be disappointed!!

    Could not have been happier with Wish & Whimsy!

    Whitney was so easy and fun to work with, and got very creative to help make our vision a reality. She is respectful of budget while making everything look so lavish and lush. I can't recommend enough - love, love, loved my florals from the big day!

    Wonderful arrangements, affordable pricing!

    Working with Whitney was great. I wasn't very specific with my requests, I just sent her some pictures with the vibe I was going for, along with some special requests for a fusion indian-american wedding. Her prices were reasonable and she did a great job!

    My husband and I planned a wedding ourselves and we could never have done it without people like Whitney. Whitney was plain and simple a gift. Her work is stunning and she goes above and beyond both in researching her client's vision and in her execution. She went the extra mile for us- from the bouquet, to the flower crown, to the extra details (greenery on the backyard swing, wooden hoops, crowns for the flower girls). Trust her talent! This girl makes the world a prettier place :)

    A Dream to Work With

    As a wedding coordinator, it's so exciting when you find vendors like Whitney who are so wonderful and easy to work with. She's flexible and accommodating while still keeping the client's true vision at the forefront. She responded quickly to all communications. And most importantly, delivered exactly what the couple asked for! Whether you're hiring you're own vendors or are a planner in the Austin area - I highly recommend!!

    Whitney Wilkes did the flower arrangements for my wedding and they were so beyond expectation! They were so BEAUTIFUL; everything I wanted and more! I couldn’t have imagined a better person to do the job. She did the decorative flowers for the church, the decorative flowers for the tables, my bouquet, my bridesmaids bouquets and the flowers for the cake and all were astounding and at a VERY affordable price! She was on time, professional, set everything up perfectly and we didn’t have to stress about it at all! Quality for such a reasonable price when flowers can be crazy expensive! I would recommend to anyone!

    Disappointed

    I was hesitant to write a review, as I’m not trying to hurt Whitney’s business/brand, but I feel like I should explain my experience. She was great to work with initially. She was very responsive and produced a beautiful proposal for my wedding florals. She’s reasonably priced, agreeable to changes and gave me thoughtful design input. I had her make a bridal bouquet for my bridal portraits and she was very kind to drop off the bouquet at my house the evening before the photo shoot. I wasn’t there to receive the bouquet, but my fiancé was, and he sent me photographs of it as soon it was dropped off. I was disappointed to say the least; it didn’t look like the inspiration photo I had sent her. The next day I was able to go to hobby lobby and pick up floral wire and new ribbon, take out the florals I didn’t like, re-wrap the bouquet in the new ribbon, and wire some of the florals to help them stand up straighter. It felt very rushed and hectic, but I was able to salvage the bouquet and use it for my bridals. I later sent Whitney an email with some edits I wanted to make for my wedding florals and, without me asking, she refunded me for the bridal bouquet. I was feeling relieved we had done a trial run and was hopeful that, the next time, they would be more similar to my inspiration photos, design edits and style.
    Whitney had originally planned to come to the venue, on my wedding day, and deliver the flowers later in the afternoon but I had requested her to come earlier so they would be ready for our earlier photos. I did not hear back from her but my wedding coordinators later confirmed that she was to deliver the flowers around 1 PM. Fast forward to the day of the wedding, and no one can get a hold of her. 1 PM rolls around, and Whitney and my wedding flowers are not at the venue. Two of my bridesmaids tried calling, texting and emailing her and they could not reach her. Finally, after an Instagram DM, she responded that she was running late and on her way. Her excuse was that she recently had to change her phone number and that’s why she did not respond (something, I would hope, a vendor would let their client know ahead of time). We ended up having to rearrange my wedding day photography timeline because the flowers were missing. She finally arrived to the venue and was apologetic for running late. The wedding bouquets, while more similar to the inspiration pictures than last time, did not include some of the changes I had requested after my trial bridal bouquet. I specifically requested no light pink roses, and there were light pink roses again in every bridesmaid bouquet (there were some in my bridal bouquet as well but one of my bridesmaids kindly took them out without me knowing they had been there in the first place). This was a change I had specifically requested, yet the light pink flowers were there again. After my bridal portrait bouquet, Whitney had let me know that the pink roses were pinker than she had intended and that neutral flowers were scarce but I emailed her requesting only neutral flowers/roses for all subsequent wedding florals and she confirmed said change.
    The silver lining to this situation is that I had made floral arrangements for the rehearsal dinner the day before and ended up bringing them to the venue because they still looked great the next morning. I would have been very anxious the day of my wedding if I didn’t have some sort of back of plan with my rehearsal arrangements, especially while my bridesmaids were having a hard time reaching Whitney. We ended up still using my rehearsal arrangements alongside Whitney’s arrangements and my sister used some of the rehearsal florals for the wedding cake instead of the ones Whitney provided. Whitney did not reach out to me personally, via call/text/email, to apologize. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and call this an isolated incident, but I’m not sure her more affordable pricing is worth the stress and I doubt I felt on, and leading up to, my wedding day.

    Wouldn't Recommend

    I regret to say that we had a negative experience with Wish and Whimsy. Whitney was nearly an hour late to deliver our flowers, disrupting our entire schedule, and we didn’t receive what we had agreed upon. For example, attached is a photo displaying what was requested versus what we received, as well as missing cake flowers, deficiency of candles, and a number of additional overlooked details. Whitney was very pleasant to work with along the way, but she was unfortunately unable to deliver what she had committed to delivering.

    After being told from the vendor that I would receive full reimbursement she will not talk to me or respond to my text.

    The flowers and table arrangement were not delivered as ordered. She is unorganized and not reliable. I do not recommend Wish & Whimsy as you wedding florist.
