We hired Windy City Jam for our wedding and Don helped make our special day run so smoothly! We hired him for DJ services, uplighting, photo booth, and video guestbook and it all turned out amazing! Our guests loved it and had such a great time. He was organized, efficient, prompt, professional, and super easy to work with. Amidst the chaos of wedding planning, he was the calm in the storm. We are so thankful for his services and definitely recommend him for your future event!

Wedding Dj /photobooth

Don and his team were the perfect addition to my wedding. We have actually used him for work parties as well as other family members weddings! Don played a great mix for all our guests of all ages to enjoy throughout the night. His booking process was simple, the questionnaire given makes it easy to stay organized and make sure you have every song needed for your special day. Don also responds quickly, and he makes sure to answer any questions you may have. He made this process so easy and we are so happy ! We also added the photobooth for our guests to use and the prices were reasonable and its something all of guests enjoyed. Overall a great experience with Windy City Jam !

DJ Don has been amazing to work with! He has a lot of experience and was able to provide a lot of suggestions for our ceremony and reception to make it the best it could be. He kept everyone on the dance floor all night and that’s exactly what we hoped for! We are so happy we went with Don for our wedding. Everything was amazing and he has been so easy to work with!

Don and his team were very proactive in helping plan our community group summer event. He presented quite a few creative ideas which were all well-received at our event. He assisted in facilitating the event venue and was on-top of every detail, which was of tremendous assistance in making our event fun and memorable! Wedding 03/15/25

We hired Windy City Jam for our wedding and we absolutely loved working with them! We went with the audio guest book and photo booth! Great prices and Don is very easy going! Very professional and everything was set up in a timely manner and ran smoothly throughout our wedding. Guests had a blast using the audio book and after the wedding it was super fun to listen and have a keepsake! Photos were a hit, lots of props to choose from and even had cute Mr. and Mrs. signs! Highly recommend :)

I hired Windy City Jam for my 35th birthday. This photo booth is exactly what I envisioned for my party- my guests could snap pics, text themselves a link to grab their photos instantly, and everyone could easily check out ALL the shots from the night. Communication was fast and Don is so nice, accommodating and easy to work with!

Windy City Jam also created a personalized 90s-themed frame for one of the photo options. Chef’s kiss! Matched the theme perfectly! You can choose between several options; a regular pic, three pics in one animation or a boomerang-type animation. Everyone was able to post their pics on social media. Super easy to use, fun, and the perfect way to keep the good vibes going. If you want your party to be the talk of the town, book this photo booth! 🎉

Amazing DJ!

Don did such a great job for my father’s 85th birthday party. He was well organized and communicative before the event and it was so appreciated. He entertained the guests who varied in age. We really loved Don’s upbeat personality and ability to lead the crowd. Everyone had such a great time thanks in part to the fun dancing and music. Thank you Don!

The best time!!

We used Windy City Jam for our photo booth, audio book, and DJ. Everything was a big hit and so many of our guests told us they weren't ready to stop dancing once it was over. 10/10!!

This was a hit at our wedding!

So happy we chose Windy City Jam for our wedding. The photobooth was an absolute hit! So many cool props and backgrounds to pick from, as well as still pictures or GIFs. It’s so cool that all of the pictures taken throughout the night are easily accessible and able to be downloaded. Everyone loved the photo booth and we got so many great pictures and compliments from our guests. We also used the phone guest book and we loved it! So fun listening back to all of the messages received throughout the night.

Professional all around!

Even though it was a last minute event, Don was very attentive and professional. He knew how to lead by his experience, but also be adaptable to our preferences and unique requests. He was flexible with the many changes that occurred at the last minute. He was empathetic to sensitive areas like a loss in the family. He ran through our program three times. It was a hectic night but he was patient and he played appropriate music for all ages. Our guests really enjoyed themselves.

Excellent DJ!!!

Don was amazing! He was on top of communication from the beginning and that is so important, especially when you get closer to the wedding date and have to deal with so many details. He made me feel so comfortable and heard. We wanted to incorporate some Ukrainian and Jewish music and he was completely on board and blended the genre’s wonderfully. He also really vibed with the crowd and knew when to switch up songs. He also provided the Photo Booth for our wedding and it was just so nice and easy to use one vendor for both services. The cost was incredibly reasonable for such a great outcome. He brought a wonderful energy and enthusiasm that you need in a DJ. I highly, highly recommend using Windy City Jam as your wedding/event DJ.

Don was a total professional when it came to setting up our photo booth and "telephone," he had everything ready to go before our guests came in. He had walked us through on how everything was going to work and what to expect. No hidden surprises and no malfunctions. Every single one of our guests had a blast at the photo booth, from the different backgrounds, facial wear, and hats, he had it all! All the guests loved it and I would highly recommend him for any event! He has quite the charming personality to even get the shyest of the shy to cut loose at his photo booth. Jess and myself can't thank you enough for making our special night that much better!

Amazing to work with

Don and his team did an amazing job at our reception. He was so responsive and helpful in planning, and pivoted efficiently when our reception schedule changed, mid-event. He works collaboratively with vendors, and is an overall hot to work with. Bonus, he worked an amazingly popular photo booth for our guest which added an extra level of authentic to the event. Without a doubt, would hire him again.

Amazing DJ - Highly Recommend!

Don is not only a fantastic dj, but he’s also a genuine and great guy. We were referred to him from a friend, and he simply did not disappoint! The dance floor was packed the entire night and all of our guests raved about his music selection. He’s organized (detailed questionnaire to help setup his duties for your event), flexible, professional, and highly knowledgeable. Best DJ we could ask for!

Don was amazing! He was our DJ/MC for our wedding and provided our audiobook for guests. He met with us before we hired him to go over our vision of the wedding and what type of music we like. He then sent a survey of everything we want to include in the wedding and the timeline. Don met with us again 2 weeks before the wedding to finalize all the details. He also went to the venue to get an idea of the set up.
He was very organized and on top of everything. He kept us on our timeline and the music was phenomenal. He really reads the crowd and knows how to get and keep people on the dance floor. The dance floor was packed the entire night! My family of all ages were having a great time. The music is so important for weddings and I couldn’t have asked for a better DJ!
He also provided the uplighting services and it did not disappoint! The venue looked so much better with the lighting and it really impacted the atmosphere! 10/10 we recommend his services!

Attentive and amazing DJ!

Don really went above and beyond! We had an initial meeting to go over our wedding vision and he was always easy to reach for any questions (and the many last minute requests we added). He had many great ideas that we didn’t think of and we were able to bounce ideas off of him with his extensive wedding experience. He provided music and uplighting for both the ceremony and the reception. The ceremony went flawlessly and everyone knew their cue. As for the reception, we still have people telling us how much fun they had dancing at our wedding even a month later! He was very in tune with what kept people on the dance floor. We would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ!

We hired Windy City Jam for our wedding. Dj Don is the most professional, friendly & accommodating vendor I’ve ever worked with. His overall service & attitude exceeded our expectations. One of the best parts of our wedding!

In a room full of people that I thought wouldn't get up, Don was able to get everyone up and moving. He really knew how to feel the room out and make sure everyone was having an amazing time. I couldn't thank him enough for how easy he made the process for us. He was extremely professional and made sure every little detail was to our liking. I didn't expect so much guidance in planning out the evening as I had no idea what to include or the order of events. He helped a lot in that area and we greatly appreciated that. It made this whole experience less stressful. I highly recommend him to anyone!

The level of professionalism is a 10+. The DJ was absolutely fantastic and he kept that dance floor hopping no one wanted to stop dancing due to the high energy and the music being played all night. Amazing experience

First off, Don and his team rocked the house for our wedding! The dancefloor was poppin the whole time!

We went through a date change, and not only was Don helpful in regards to us make this decision but he was supportive, patient, and flexible. It turned a potentially stressful situation into an easy change! Don was psyched to see the venue, lay out the room, ideas flowing in his mind about lighting and setup! I gave him a few guideline in regards to music and he blew it out of the water! He always felt out the vibe of the room, made song changes as needed, remixed and transitioned the songs so well.

The photo booth was set up perfectly, his team handled the compilation of the guest book and encouraged people to sign and continue to take wild pictures. We left with the photo album at the end of the night which was so much fun to look over!

The party did NOT want to stop. We would hire Don and his team over and over again!

Excellent DJ

I hired Windy City Jam on 2 occasions, One for the 7th birthday of my daughter and the latest is my 50th birthday! Don is an Excellent DJ, very Accommodating and very Flexible and would cater to his clients needs! He not only knows how to do DJ stuffs but he also has Personalized Monograms to make your Party more Unique and Petsonslized! He also helps with other party needs such as games if you need to during your party to make it more lively and will also try to connect you with other vendors if you need help with Projection for your Party! Overall I am very satisfied with DJ Don’s service! I highly recommend him and would definitely consider him to be our DJ for another Event! Thank you Don!

Smooth and Communicative Process

DJ Don was awesome! He got us out a jam. Our pianist for the ceremony dropped out with weeks to go and Don was able to step in and provide services on such short notice! Monogram and up-lighting services made the reception look stylish. Above all, we would definitely recommend DJ Don because he was so easy to work with to talk everything through. From our first communication until the end of the night, he made sure everything went smoothly for our special night.

The best dj!

I could not have asked to work with a better DJ. Don exceeded our expectation for our wedding and we're forever grateful.

He is very detailed oriented, organized, easy to communicate with, flexible, and so very friendly. The moment we met in person I knew I met a friend for life. Not only did Don go above and beyond to fulfill his services, he provided his insights on things that I missed which was super helpful.

The photo booth was also amazing. All of our guests (including my wife and I) had so much fun taking pictures with the props he provided.

Don did a great job reading the floor and was able to get everyone out on the dance floor. Our wedding day was perfect and Don played a huge role in ensuring that.

Don was great to work with and played fun music catering to our requests as well as our guests. Communication was easy and Don was very accommodating to any changes. The Best DJ!

We worked with Don for DJ and Photo booth services for our wedding, and both exceeded our expectations! Especially during covid and not knowing what our wedding would look like, Don was so helpful, organized and extremely friendly. It was so easy to work with him, and the day was perfect. Amazing time!

You do not just get a DJ for your event - you get so much more! There’s so many things I didn’t realize I needed for my wedding that Windy City Jam organized for me. From the songs prior to the start of the ceremony, songs during the cocktail hour, uplighting (which made the whole venue look a million times better) including our own monogram lit up on the dance floor! He was able to get play every specific song I needed for different parts of the ceremony and reception. The team also helped keep my bridal party on task for our different events to make sure everything we needed to get done was done. Highly recommend!

Perfect DJ/MC for our wedding!

Don was the perfect choice for our wedding. He met with us beforehand and took the time to get to know what we wanted for our wedding. He had great input on song choices and really knew how to entertain. Our guests danced the whole night. He is a really great MC and kept our guests laughing, especially during the garter removal. He created a light sign with our names and a heart that was a really nice surprise. His setup and lighting went perfectly with our wedding as well. We were so happy we went with Don from Windy City Jam and definitely plan to use him again and highly recommend him!

Don is the best! He is so amazing and talented!

Don did an amazing job at my parents’ 70th Birthday party! I highly recommend him! He responds right away to emails, phone calls, and texts. He has a lot of experience and made the entire planning of this party smooth. He was so helpful with his feedback and suggestions on ways to make our party program more exciting and entertaining for our guests. I gave him a few songs that my mom liked and he was able to select and play the perfect style of songs for that evening. He even went out of his way to make and play Happy Birthday in Korean for my mom and dad! I was able to sit back and relax at this party because of Don. I gave him a timeline of events and he followed the plan and also jumped in when necessary to speed things along. He is very flexible and affordable! I ended up actually needing an additional 30min at the end and he was able to do this. He is very reliable and I had no worries when I booked him for this party. He was also the DJ for my wedding, so I already knew I could count on him for a perfect night! He showed up early to set up and was prepared. He is very talented and also comes with an amazing voice! Very professional and friendly. This birthday party had a LOT going on. We had several musical performances, speeches, Slideshow, games, etc. Don handled all of this making the transition from each one to the next very smoothly and did not forget a single thing! My parents’ party was AMAZING because of him. Thank you Don!

An excellent choice

We recently got married and chose Don from Windy City Jam. He came highly recommended by a friend and he far exceeded our expectations! He was extremely thorough and met with us on multiple occasions to ensure that nothing was overlooked. Don is professional, organized, attentive, and personable. He worked well with all of the vendors and kept us organized throughout the ceremony and reception. During the reception, he was very much in tune with what the crowd wanted. This was apparent in the large number of people on the dance floor to the very end!

Don is awesome! Very accommodating during the party and made sure to play all the music that was requested. He was quick to reply back to all my emails and answered all my questions thoroughly and timely. Everyone at the party had a blast dancing all night.

We hired Don from Windy City Jam to provide photo booth services for our wedding. Don was easy to work with and always got back to us quickly. His enclosed booth was classy and unique with many fun props to choose from. The photos he provided on the spot were clear and had our wedding colors along with a custom layout. Our guests had a blast, including my 83 year old grandmother who happily wore a boa and held a sign that read "naughty." Thanks for adding to a magical evening. I highly recommend Windy City Jam!

Wow! Don did both our outdoor ceremony and reception. He was super communicative before hand and asked all the questions we could have thought of. We had a super difficult space and he worked really hard day of to get our sound working for the ceremony without a hitch! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Don as a dj & for photobooth!!! Excellent professional & well-organized service! We had our reception at Danada House (a horse ranch) & wanted to create a warm & welcoming atmosphere to go along with our more laid back venue. We also wanted to be able to fully enjoy interacting with our guests & to have our guests enjoy interacting with each other. Don knew EXACTLY what we were talking about & showed us all the variety of things he could do to help carry out the wedding of our dreams! First, we used UPLIGHTING to highlight the gorgeous features of our venue (there really is no color he CAN'T do by the way! Have no fear!) & when we did a walk-through with him a few weeks before the wedding, we talked through Uplighting placement that looked the best, & he even let us try out different colors to see what they looked like too to make sure we were happy with our decisions. He did similar when going over the beautiful custom MONOGRAM & GOBO designs & placements. He's very friendly & personable & made us feel so comfortable & involved throughout the whole planning process. He was also very accommodating & flexible to all our wishes & scheduled meetings. You really can tell that he cares about you & your wishes & puts his all into his work. Second, in order to encourage a fun & interactive atmosphere, instead of kissing at the clinking of glasses, the whole table had to think about & sing a song with the word "love" in it to us. Our guests got so into it!! Singing at the top of their lungs & dancing! We also did a How Well Do You Know The Bride And Groom Trivia & each table competed with one another! Thirdly, the wide variety of songs kept our dance floor literally packed the WHOLE NIGHT. Fourth, at the PHOTOBOOTH, the most variety of fun props I've ever seen PLUS we got our memory book with everyone's pictures & messages at the end of the night! The room was filled with so much love & laughter. Best day ever! Couldn't have asked for more:). Thanks Don!!

We hired Dj Don of Windy City Jam for our corporate party this past January. He provided excellent cocktail and dinner music which had a lot of our guests nodding their heads. He did games for the adults for the first part of the evening before the dancing began. He worked with another member and myself to coordinate raffles, speeches and games. We recently had our SCL-AAA Dinner Dance on Feb.24,2017 at The Meridian and couldn't be more
pleased by the services of Windy City Jam. Don, the owner, DJ'd our event and he was absolutely
amazing. We give you a double thumbs up!!!!! Oh what a night! The crowded dance floor was a
testament of satisfaction. The quality of the sound system was great and the music was such a perfect
mix to accommodate everyone likes. The uplighting was great too and he did an incredible job with that!
Don, was a pleasure to work with, valued our input and catered to our needs.
Above all else, his focus was keeping the party upbeat and FUN!!! I believe music either makes or break a
party and he delivered. Thank you for your flexibility and patience to accommodate us with all our requests
and even our last minute changes. We would definitely hire Don, again in a heartbeat. Highly recommend

Don and the Windy City Jam team were very responsive to all of inquiries and changes that we requested prior to the event and during the event. The company was flexible and accommodating and everything was ready to go without me have to worry about directing them. There were about 110 people at our community event at a banquet hall and everyone enjoyed the music and especially loved the photo booth. Our event had a program and line dancing and Don was involved in making the program successful. They even created a special photo booth template specific to our event for the picture strips that were printed which was a very nice touch that guests appreciated. The staff assisting at the photo booth were very helpful as well! Our organization would definitely use Windy City Jam for events in the future without hesitation and we highly recommend their services for any occasion.

We hired DJ Don of Windy City Jam for our wedding this past June. Wow, Wow, Wow...what an amazing job he did. We could not have asked for more. He was very accommodating and easy to work with from choosing our songs for introductions, cake cutting and special dances throughout the evening. His music selection was exactly what we wanted from young and old he had them on the dance floor the whole night. We also went with him for our up-lights and monogram which added a classy look for our venue. We recently had Don DJ our wedding and he did an amazing job!! We were impressed with Don from the first conversation that we had with him - he is very professional, personable and catered to our requests. We threw a few wrenches at him, such as hosting trivia during dinner, projecting Game 4 of the World Series during the party, and having my crazy aunts asking to sing the 7th inning stretch, but he handled all with ease. Our wedding was for an older group. 50"s and 60"s, Don played all of the genres that were from our time. We had many compliments that the music during dinner and afterward was excellent. Don used various methods to get everyone involved. Singing a song with the word, "love" in it was very good as everyone wanted the bride and groom to kiss. It was a novel idea, glad we did it.
I would recommend everyone to hire Don to entertain your group.

Don is a bride and groom's DREAM!! From the moment we met with him to talk about his work as a DJ and what he could do for our reception, we knew we had someone special on our team. Don is incredibly experienced in how receptions work, and how to read a room and it absolutely showed. The music flowed seamlessly, and he played a fantastic set from the genres we told him we wanted and many of our guests expressed the same thing to us. He was even so gracious to allow my dance company to plug into his system and surprise me and my husband with a performance! He was so professional, I didn't even know that he had gotten a flat tire that day until one of my coordinators told me after I got back from my honeymoon! With so many things to worry about and vendors to coordinate, we are so grateful for how sweet, considerate, and responsible Don was! What a rare gem!!

Best birthday party ever do to the exciting photo booth. Kids absolutely went bananas over the photo booth. With the different fun variations of hats and props, every picture was better than the next. To just see the joy and excitement on little Jimmys face after he received his photos back made my year. Windy City Jam was our photobooth for my mom's 60th Birthday celebation. Don welcomed the guests with enthusiam and made sure everyone was all smiles ready for the camera!

The photos were amazing. The quality of the photos is top notch! Great souveniers for a memorable event.

Also worth mentioning is that there were a lot of props to choose from - which made the photos extra fun.

With the corteous, energetic and professionalism Don and his team exerts - Windy City Jam photo booth is going to be a sure hit at your next event as well!

Having DJ Don was one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. He was so professional and despite the fact that we didn't give him a strict playlist- he knew exactly the type of music to play during dinner and dancing. People still talk about how much fun dancing at our wedding was! He has also been a part of many of my family's events and we continue to request him because of how wonderful he always is. He is flexible, great to work with, takes his job seriously, and has very reasonable pricing. Highly recommend.

Hire Windy City Jam because you will NOT be disappointed! Don has been the DJ for my own wedding, my brothers and my best friend's and each night has been incredible and very memorable! Don listens to exactly what you request and knows exactly how to keep people out on the dance floor. He met with us in person prior to our wedding to get to know us, our personalities and our wants and wishes. He even personalized a light that "danced" around our dance floor with our names and wedding date.
Windy City Jam is not just a great choice for weddings though. Don was recently at my niece's first birthday party and provided more amazing fun that had people out on the dance floor once again. He even brought fun games for the kids AND adults which brought lots of laughs :)

We just had DJ Don for my daughter's first birthday. He was awesome! He organized games for both the little kids and adults that got everyone laughing and having fun! The music he played really got everyone dancing too! I had several people tell me it was the most fun they ever had at a birthday party. We love him and highly recommend him!

Don Dawis at Windy City Jams was amazing to work with!
He was super responsive, had a wide selection of music, played all my requests & avoided all my "do not play" songs.
He also provided all the lighting (uplighting & decorative lighting) and it really made the reception look much better.
Don was polite, funny, and easy to work with.
I've recommended him for other friends and work events where he was also used with rave reviews.

Don was simply amazing. Professional, reliable ...and he tailored the music perfectly to the occasion. The sound, energy and mixing were superb. He kept the party moving and lively. A delight to deal with from planning to party. Highly recommend him and I wold use him again in a heartbeat.

We love DJ Don! He played at both our wedding and my brothers wedding and did a great job at both! Made it such a great party with everyone out on the dance floor. He is the best!

I was celebrating my stores 20th anniversary.. it was a big deal for us not only that we celebrating my 20th year , we also had the UFC Heavyweight champion of world doing a signing with us that day ... We had a crowd of over 2200 people come to celebrate with us and to meet the Champ .. unfortunately the champ was late but it didn't matter Mr Don Dawis made our friends and customers entertained with his variety of musics ..not one person complained to wait several more hours to meet the champ ..Thank-you Mr Dawis for making my 20th bash the most exciting event in Morton Grove .. I highly recommend him for any event ... Moments like that only an experienced dj can read what kind of crowd it is and entertain them with music they would enjoy..

Don and Windy City Jam were fantastic! Played the perfect set of songs and had the party going for hours! Very professional in his communications and equipment set-up. I would definitely recommend Windy City Jam at any event or parties!

We recently attended a combined 50th birthday party for college friends. Don Dawis provided excellent music selection for the 80s themed party. We felt like we were back in college! We enjoyed singing along and dancing all night long! We all had a blast! We asked Don for his business cards, so we could promote his business and pass the cards on to our family and friends. We most definitely recommend Windy City Jam!

Exceptional DJ!

We recently celebrated a 60th birthday party for my husband at our home. Don was kind enough to accommodate us as he had 10 years ago when we celebrated my husband’s 50th birthday celebration. Our guests very much enjoyed the music selections and had them dancing. Everyone had a fantastic time! He did a phenomenal job! We highly recommend Don (Windy City Jam)!

Went to a Christmas party at Tommy's on Waukegan in Morton Grove, and the DJ was amazing. He had everyone up on the dance floor with his great selection of music. Great guy, very professional.
