Highly recommend Windmill!
Ernie and the staff at Windmill were incredible to work with as a wedding vendor from the start. I met with Ernie when I wasn’t sure what I was looking for and he was so helpful and knowledgeable. When I called or visited the shop with questions, they were always happy to help. Our flowers were stunning and they were flexible with delivery, and priced extremely reasonably. They were also flexible with using 2 types of centerpieces for our tables.
Windmill did the flowers for my parents wedding, so it was great to work with them for our wedding too. I would highly recommend as a vendor in MA!

Windmill Florist did the flowers for my daughter’s Wedding at the Old Mill on June 8th 2024. I cannot say enough about the fantastic experience from meeting and picking out all the flowers to the day of the wedding. The arrangements were beautiful from the arbor decorations , bridal and bridesmaids bouquets, cake topping, and table arrangements, all the flowers were so fresh, it made the venue. You cannot go wrong using them for your wedding.

I met with Ernie to pick bouquets, boutonnieres and arch pieces and he could not have been better or easier to work with! The shop is so cute and when I walked in we sat down and talked about the general ideas of what I was looking for. I wasn't really sure what I wanted but I told them the colors I was looking for and the location and when we received the flowers they were STUNNING! I couldn't have been happier with the design and the ease the whole process was. If you are looking for a florist who will take the stress off of you, this is the one!

I got married in October 2023 and chose Windmill as my florist, and it was one of the best choices I made in my wedding planning decisions. They are also my family's go to for any event we have. My bouquet was stunning as well as my center pieces..it matched my colors perfectly. The owner is super nice and helpful he even gave my little girl her first pink rose when we stopped in. At the very last minute I had to add a few more add-on's that I forgot about and without any hesitation he said we can absolutely do that and he did. The fact that I was able to pay in installments up until the wedding was also very helpful. I would 1000% recommend Windmill for your wedding and any other occasion you may need flowers for!

Ernie was so accommodating and helpful! I went in with a couple of inspiration pictures and he exceeded my expectations! I was in awe when the flowers were delivered! They also came earlier than the quoted time frame! We got to enjoy the arch flowers for weeks after the wedding, they lasted great! For many years, myself and my family have used Windmill Florists and have been blown away by the beautiful arrangements. I can always tell one of Windmills arrangements! I recently got married and had Windmill do the flower arrangements for the Wedding. I had met with Ernie and showed pictures of the bouquet i had my eyes on. Walking in to my bridal suite the day of the wedding, my breathe was taken away as Ernie and his team had yet again went above and beyond my expectations with these beautiful arrangements! I would absolutely recommend Windmill to my future ladies out there getting married. I was FLOORED with the way my bouquet came out! All of my bridesmaids loved theirs as well. What makes Windmill stick out is their “like-home” feel, I remember being a little nervous when I was first figuring out my flowers because they can be a bit overwhelming. Ernie so easily made my vision come to life and he knew exactly the kind of look I was going for. A close friend recommended Ernie & Windmill for VERY reasonably priced wedding flowers. Thousands less than other quotes I received. After visiting the store to meet Ernie and do a consultation, I booked immediately. After deciding last minute that I needed delivery to my venue, he had no drivers left for that day, yet went out of his way to find someone from a different company who could help me. He understood exactly what I was asking for, and made sure everything was perfect. When the flowers arrived, the quality was above what I expected. They were STUNNING. If you’re in search of someone not only professional, but compassionate then Windmill is perfect!

I have known Ernie from Windmill Florist since I was a little girl when he made arrangements for our ice skating shows. Many years passed and we become reacquainted through friends it was great seeing him again. Many years passed again and it was time to choose our wedding florist we knew who to call. Talking with Ernie I really had no real ideas but just thoughts of what I liked for arrangements and table settings. Ernie was amazing. He was so kind from the moment I met him, and just had an incredible understanding for the types of flowers I wanted at my wedding. Windmill Florist is a preferred vendor of The Colonial Hotel where we had our wedding this past May. When I was first looking for a florist I called a few local companies in my town before calling Windmill, not one of them returned my call. Looking back, I wish I had called Windmill right away because my experience with them was seamless. Ernie was so easy to work with and knew exactly what I was picturing, he took my wildflower vision and made it reality. Planning a wedding is stressful and exhausting but by hiring Windmill Florist, flowers were one less thing I had to worry about. At the end of the night almost all of the centerpieces were gone because my guests all took them home! 11/10!

Ernie came highly recommended to my now husband and I. We had an intimate setting that needed just the right touch not over the top and Ernie listened to, provided suggestions and then provided the perfect flowers for an amazing value. We, especially me, wanted flowers that were simple yet elegant and even tho Lily of the valley were out of season, Ernie promised me he’d make it work and gave me my dream bouquet. Ernie and Lynn were amazing! Ernie is the most genuine person and really puts his heart into what he does! Best florist!!!
We were married on 12/11/2021 and Windmill florists helped make it the most beautiful day ever!! Ernie is so sweet and professional and absolutely nailed the vision we described to him. The flowers were exquisite and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous the centerpieces were! Many people took them home and they are still looking good after two weeks!! We really could not have had a better experience with them and would highly recommend their services to all!

Absolutely stunning!
Ernie made my dream wedding come true!Every flower arrangement came out absolutely beautiful. The centerpiece, my bouquet, even surprised me with flower pedals down the aisle. I loved it!! I noticed every little touch you and your team made. Thank you so much for the beautiful Cigar Bar sign you made us. The guys loved the set up and I still have guests talking about how stunning the flowers were at the wedding. I couldn't be happier.

Made the day perfect
I had a very specific vision both for church, bouquets and reception flowers and despite my colors being unique (many shades of purple) Ernie was able to nail it!! I am a 2020 covid Bride and we had a small wedding in 2020 and just had the big wedding 10/16/21. My bouquets were silk so not only could I have the same for the weddings but I can cherish them forever!

Windmill Florist and Ernie deliver the highest level of customer service and quality products. I used Windmill for my wedding. Being slightly indecisive, I let Ernie run with his thoughts and expertise after discussing just a few flower options and color schemes. I truly could not have been happier. My bouquet, along with those in my wedding party were put together nicely. My flowers were silk so that I could keep them after and no one could tell the difference. Ernie is such a pleasure to work with definitely goes above and beyond. Choose Windmill. You will not regret it!

One of the greatest decisions I made while wedding planning was using Ernie at Windmill as my florist. The centerpieces he created were absolutely gorgeous… to the point where my guests were practically fighting over them at the end of the night to take home! He incorporated my wedding colors of bronze and forest green BEAUTIFULLY. My bouquet was outstanding and so well-made, I teared up when I first laid eyes on it. He was incredibly easy to work with, down to earth, knowledgeable, and very reasonably priced. His work exceeded my expectations. I cannot recommend Ernie at Windmill enough!

Fall Wedding
Ernie did an excellent job with all my flowers!! I had a fall themed wedding this past weekend and I wasn’t sure what I wanted the bouquets or floral arrangements to look like. He asked for my colors and theme and put together the most beautiful flowers! My only request was to have dahlias and blue thistle and they were in every arrangement. Everything looked beautiful and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome!!

Ernie, from the Windmill Florist, is simply the BEST florist around. The flowers for our daughter's wedding were spectacular. He did an amazing job on all of the bouquets, the centerpieces, and the arch. The guests could not stop talking about how beautiful the arrangements were. You will not find another florist that will create arrangements as gorgeous as Ernie does. He listens to what you want and his designs and the way he arranges the flowers are breathtaking. Highly recommend.

The Windmill florist made our wedding flowers dreams come true! Literally! Ernie and his staff did a STUNNING job with all our wedding flowers. From the three different types of centerpieces we wanted to rose petals overflowing our aisle with beauty, they went above and beyond to make it perfect!
Our wedding was down the Cape and the staff at the windmill delivered the flowers in a timely manner and did amazing job setting up! The staff was so welcoming and great to work with and answered all of our questions!
Everyone couldn’t stop commenting on how beautiful the flowers were. We are more than happy with the flowers we’ve received from the Windmill and will be sure to go back for any floral needs!
Ernie was so detailed with the flowers and arrangements and made our day so special that we will never forget!

I cannot say enough good things about Windmill florist. Ernie sat down with us and I was able to give him a color swatch to match my girl’s dresses and show a few photos of what we liked. Windmill florist went above and beyond what I asked for. Our bouquets were beautiful with fresh, vivid flowers. Our centerpieces were perfect height and size to accent the tables. Ernie delivered our bouquets to my home where us gals were getting ready and delivered our centerpieces to our venue- all well before our promised time. They did an amazing job and were very fair on price!! I would highly recommend Windmill. They are amazing at their jobs.

They were so helpful and knowledgable. They took our colors and made some truly beautiful bouquets. My bridesmaids all loved theirs, the boutaniers were perfect, and the parents all loved their pieces. My bouquet was the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen! It was exactly fly what I had envisioned!
And the wrap was great! It was structured with one side flat so you can hold it against you instead of having a giant, round, floral pom pom you had to hold a foot away from your body. Super useful. Way more of a difference that you'd think.
And the centerpieces we red absolutely perfect. We had 8 centerpieces, 2 larger ones, my bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 9 boutaniers and 3 corsages, and 6 clusters with ribbon for the aisle. Absolutely perfect.

I left knowing my bouquets were going to be perfect.
Let me start by saying that i Know nothing about flowers. When i was thinking anout bouquets i was very stressed because I had no idea what I wanted and this became a very daunting task because I was not as prepared for this as I was with other vendors. When I arrived we went upstairs to chat and come up with a plan. I knew what I did not want. I knew the shape I wanted and that was about it. They showed me different flowers, colors, samples, even put together samples of how certains things would look together. It was amazing. i cannot thank this florist enough for putting my mind at ease. I also was blown away at the price. It was less than half of what both my sisters paid for their wedding flowers. 5 stars for this florist for sure!!

We were married at an apple farm. The beginning of our ceremony was during business hours, so there were people other than our guests around. The complements that poured in weren't for my dress or makeup but my boquet! The boquets, table arrangements, boutonnieres and swags for the ceremony site were gorgeous! The flowers for my daughter's wedding were incredible! There were beautiful roses of 3 different coordinating colors that were at their most beautiful stage of opening with several different greens. We just gave them an idea of the style we like and they ran with it, creating beautiful bouquets, centerpieces and a gorgeous arbor. We saw the arbor decorated 3 times that weekend and our guests commented that ours was by far the most beautiful. The best part is that their prices were really reasonable. We received great value and I highly recommend Windmill Florist.

Windmill Florist put our flowers together quickly, they were professional, thorough and very friendly. They helped us choose the right flowers for the season and the books they had available were helpful for making our choices. We accidently misordered and they made another corsage in the last hour before the wedding and saved the bride's day. I can not recommend Ernie and everyone at Windmill Florist any more highly! The flowers for my wedding were absolutely stunning. I met with Ernie initially to review colors and overall vibe. As the wedding got closer we went over more details and exact numbers of arrangements. The day of the wedding, they delivered the flowers to my home and then set up everything at the wedding. Everything was meticulous... from flowers in my sisters hair, bouquets, arrangements for the mantels, to the centerpieces and unbelievable arrangements for the ceremony! Everything was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Not only were the flowers gorgeous on the day of the wedding, they lasted for weeks. My husbands grandmother keeps sending me photos of how gorgeous her flowers still look now dried out. Totally impressed! 10/5 stars

I am still thinking about how amazing my flowers were!! I was so incredibly sad we were leaving for the honeymoon the next day and I couldnt enjoy them. Working with Pat and Ernie was not only so fun but easy. The flowers are always the one thing you do not get to see before and can leave you worried but not with them. While I may tend to be a bit of a control freak, I gave Ernie a few color ideas and let him work his magic for our wedding flowers. I didn't even know what the flowers would look like until the day of the wedding, but I have absolutely no worries, because Ernie has a gift! My wedding happened to be the first day of fall, and everything he designed was stunning and surpassed ANYTHING I could have hoped for (or even found on pinterest!). Being mother of the groom and not familiar with the area I was skeptical when the venue and the bride suggested Windmill Florist in Fitchburg. I went with an open mind and much to my surprise and pleasure I came across a true gem!! Ernie is helpful, talented and treated us as though our wedding was the most important and only event he was working on. The flowers were gorgeous and fresh all the guests asked which florist we used. Although it rained and we brought the outdoor ceremony indoors, Ernie was there being supportive and suggested options to make the indoor ceremony just as beautiful as outdoors. What an unbelievable experience from beginning to end! Ernie and Pat worked closely with my daughter in law on her vision for wedding flowers. The flowers for my daughter's New Year's Eve wedding by Ernie at Windmill Florist were above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed of for her wedding day. The bouquets were absolutely beautiful and being new year's were so special with bling rhinestones all over the stems. And the centerpieces were so stunning with crystals hanging from them that sparkled in the candlelight. The room looked magical! The owner of this establishment, Ernie, is an exceptional florist. He really knows his stuff, and will even know what you want before YOU know what you want, he's that good. We used Windmill for a few things for our wedding. Firstly, we were going to do the centerpieces ourselves (which were going to be glass cylinders filled with water and a flower submerged inside, floating candle on top). After talking to Ernie it turned out it would be cheaper for him to do it than us - which was less for us to worry about - so that was awesome! With that, they also did a Brides bouquet, 2 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 maid of honor bouquet, and a tossing bouquet, along with a larger arrangement in a beautiful crystal vase that went in the foyer of our venue, 2 corsages, 1 arrangement for the groom to wear on his lapel, and they also provided loose petals for the flower girls and cake at no extra charge. Going into it, we had no idea what flowers we wanted. After a consultation with Ernie, he knew what our vision was and just went with it. We ended up with beautiful arrangements of orange and white roses, tiger lilies, orchids, and more. Our colors were teal and orange, they matched them amazingly in the wrappings of the bouquets. It is hard sometimes to trust someone with one huge thing such as flowers (because we had no idea what we were doing), but we don't regret for one minute giving him some free reign. We got amazing professional flower arrangements, AND we didn't even have to worry about the delivery to the venue on the day of, or setting up the centerpieces. Windmill worked directly with the venue on the morning of to have everything set up and in place. Ernie and Windmill will be our go to florist for any more flower needs we have in the future. The flowers for our wedding were absolutely breathtaking! The owner of the shop actually delivered the flowers himself on a Sunday. It literally brought tears of joy to my eyes when I saw how everything came together. Windmill was easy to work with and went above and beyond our expectations. Every detail from our bouquets, floral cake topper, to loose flowers for added table elegance turned out beautifully and perfect. They were able to bring all this beauty to our wedding and work with us to stay within our budget. I highly recommend Windmill.

I went to a few different places looking into flowers for our wedding. Most places said finding deep purple and blue flowers in October was close to impossible and they would have to end up dying our flowers, which provided a whole new set of problems with blooming and exposing the flowers original coloring.
Our cake vendor suggested Windmill to us so I thought I'd check it out. I was pleasantly surprised when they told me deep blue and purple flowers wouldn't be a problem to get. I was still a little hesitant and actually pretty nervous about our flowers thinking they still wouldn't be dark enough for the look I really wanted. The day of the wedding our flowers got dropped off, but first the man delivering them found me personally to make sure I liked them. I'm pretty sure one of my favorite parts of our wedding was the flowers! They were beautiful!! I look back at the pictures and fall in love with the colors all over again.

LOVED my flowers at my wedding! All the bouquets and center pieces were exactly what I wanted. The flowers and candles set the perfect ambiance I wanted for my wedding. Ernie was an absolute pleasure to work with!

Ernie created a more beautiful bouquet for me than I could have ever imagined! I had a flower crisis not even two weeks before my wedding and he swooped in and saved my day and my sanity. We met with Ernie once. He was very professional and so confident it made our decisions easy to make. We trusted he would a great job and he did. I opted for very simple flowers and bouquet but he was still able to make each piece come to life.

I had a vision of simple, classic and elegant floral arraignments for my bouquets and boutonnieres but didn't want to worry about spending an outrageous amount of money and thanks to Ernie I got exactly what I wanted. All the hydrangeas and calla lilies were perfect! The color matched my pink and gray theme perfectly! He even gave me ideas on how to do my centerpieces which were made of artificial flowers. His attention to detail and commitment to the needs of the bride is simply extraordinary. I would recommend Windmill 100 times over!!

Windmill Florist was included in our package with our venue, and they could not have done a better job! The centerpieces and bouquets were beautiful, and Ernie went above and beyond, giving us extra flowers to decorate the reception space with. Windmill Florist and everyone there did an amazing job providing flowers and service for my big day. I never once had to question the quality of what I would receive and everyone was so patient with me. Based on some pictures I brought in, Ernie was able to put together the most beautiful groupings of flowers that made what I had in my head come to life. I am so thankful for their hard work, professionalism, and enthusiasm. Using Windmill definitely made my wedding day very relaxing and fun. I love Ernie! He did an amazing job on all of our flowers for our wedding. He is so creative and I just loved our he used our color scheme (yellow and gray). My bouquet was beautiful with bright yellow flowers and bright green succulents. Our center pieces were a combination of three different sized mason jars and there were even lemon slices in the water! The work Ernie and his team did was amazing and I could be more pleased!

Windmill Florist has been our florist of choice for many years. Ernie and his staff are professional, courteous and expert at their craft. They make suggestions, ask for feedback and accommodate your needs.
We used Windmill florist for the shower as well as the wedding. The bouquets, cake flowers and the baskets which lined the aisles of the venue exceeded our expectations. The colors popped and arrangements were beautiful. My daughter requested an unusual color for her bouquet and was elated with the outcome. The attention to detail showed on the bouquet stems which were wrapped with ribbon held in place with pearl pins.
I would recommend Windmill Florist for any occasion. You are the 'Best' Ernie. Thank you for making Melissa's day one she will remember always.

The most beautful and fresh arrangements. Our winter wedding with red and white flowers were gorgeous! We asked for ivy, berries, and small pinecones to be woven in the arrangements. Amazing!!

All of their work came out beautiful. Included flowers on the sweet heart table, flower pedals for the flower girl to toss, and a cake topper with pedals spread on the table.

My wedding is the pictures of the red roses and red sox theme. My flowers were GORGEOUS!! And when we were discussing what my centerpieces were going to look like, I put my trust in his creativity - and I was thrillled with how they turned out!! Customer service was excellent too!! Used them for my grandparents 50th anniversary too! Could not have had a better experience - would recommend them to any bride!!
