Destination wedding

The moment you step into paradise, the whole staff at WDJ is welcoming, respectful, hospitable, and just overall the best service I have seen in a long time. The reason we picked WDJ for our destination wedding was based on other reviews of the fabulous Melanie Reynolds! That made choosing a place and never scoping it out even better! Months in advance Melanie was on the ball about taking over every detail, promptly responding to every email,and making sure all our guests were taken care of. She even made reservations for someone to pick us up at the airport along with any of our guests staying there too! She made our wedding beyond gorgeous despite weather issues. We had to change locations in a matter of a few hours due to rain, but you would have never guessed. It was breath taking! Not only would I highly recommend staying at this resort, I would encourage you to pick WDJ if you are thinking of doing a destination wedding. Melanie literally does everything for you! All you have to do is show up, get married, and have fun! We will definately be returning.

Melanie is the best wedding planner!

Myself and my fiancé traveled to St Lucia to get married at the resort in September and invited 10 of our close family and friends to join us. Melanie, our wedding planner, was fantastic to work with. She ensured every detail was covered, and made the planning (and on-site details) so easy and stress-free. Melanie arranged all of the legal detailing, shuttles, the photographer, flowers, decorations, reservations, hair/makeup, welcome bag items, etc- she’s literally a wonder woman and a sweetheart. I was able to enjoy the week at the beach leading up to the wedding, and walk down the aisle with no nerves or stress as I knew she had everything covered. Our wedding was beautiful and we will remember our trip forever.
The photographer that she arranged was so easy to work with and knew exactly what he needed to do and where to put everyone for great photos. My bouquet was so beautiful with fresh and local flowers- I wish I could have brought it home with me.
Again, a huge shout out to Melanie as she literally arranged almost every detail of our visit (minus the water sport activities) and was so friendly and great to work with. Our entire family had a wonderful vacation and continues to talk about all of the memories we shared in St Lucia.

We will definitely be going back, and potentially renewing our vows at some point because Melanie made the process that easy and the resort was beautiful.

Villa wedding at windjammer

We planned our wedding with windjammer from the UK. By the time we arrived in st Lucia everything was ready and so we could have a relaxing holiday. Mel was always quick to reply to emails and everything was exactly as we wanted.

Dream wedding!

My husband and I planned our wedding in St. Lucia during our first stop on a cruise. About a month before our planned wedding date, we reached out to Windjammer with an outline of our proposed day. Just a few hours later, the resort's wedding specialist, Melanie, responded with a detailed itinerary and pricing.

Melanie made the planning process simple. She was very organized and thorough. She made it easy to make long distance decisions by sending me sample photos of flowers, the venue, and decorations. She was able to offer options to accommodate every request that I sent.

When we arrived at the port, a driver with a large van was there to pick us up. Upon arrival at the resort, Melanie coordinated a lawyer to meet us to sign the marriage paperwork (since we requested a legal ceremony). Then, she scheduled appointments for the women in my group to go to the resort spa for hair and makeup. The spa was beautiful! While I was getting ready, my husband and the men relaxed and dressed in one of the resort's hillside villas overlooking the ocean. After the women were finished getting ready, we went to a separate villa. When it was time for the ceremony, we the family and men were driven to the ceremony site.

The resort had a garden ceremony site set up on the top of the hillside overlooking the ocean. Chairs with pink tie sashes and flowers were set up, along with an arch decorated with white fabric and flowers. Melanie coordinated the set up of ice water with fruit and umbrellas for the guests to be comfortable. A steel pan drummer played the music for the ceremony, creating the perfect island ambiance. Although we had not rehearsed, the ceremony went very smoothly. At the end, the guests tossed flower petals for our walk down the aisle. It was perfect. While we took photos on the hilltop and the beach, our family was shuttled to the restaurant.

The set up of the resort allowed us to have a grand entrance to our reception. We walked across the beach and up the stairs to a private section of the restaurant. A steel pan band played music for our group. We had a full bar and a variety of tasty appetizers. We were able to enjoy a toast and dances.

Melanie booked a photographer and videographer to capture us throughout the day. They took photos of us getting ready, at the garden ceremony, on the beach, and at our reception. We were emailed a link to the images a week after our wedding. The site has been convenient to navigate and all of the photos taken are great. It has been tough to choose!

Melanie and the team at Windjammer Landing made our wedding dreams come true. Our time at Windjammer Landing was much too short. We cannot wait to visit again at an anniversary!

Magical Wedding at Windjammer!!

Windjammer Landing Villa is AMAZINGLY BEAUTIFUL!! And the staff is out of this world.

Melanie, wedding planner extraordinaire, and the staff at Windjammer did everything right and made my day absolutely magical. Being at St.Lucia was amazing but not having to worry about the details of the wedding was absolutely phenomenal. Thank you so much Melanie for making it so easy for us and also taking care of ALL our guests! They had such a fantastic time. None of them can stop talking about it. You and your team at Windjammer are hard workers and pay attention to detail, which I love. You made everything seem easy and seamless. Everyone loved how everything was set up and couldn't believe how you transformed a lunch restaurant to a magical wedding venue. Impressive!

I can't wait to go back!

The Windjammers Resort is heaven on earth, with two angels in our wedding planners Melanie and Simone. They are simply the best. They took care of all the arrangements. My wife and i just had to show up and we did. The resort is really beautiful, the gardens. The Villas are well kept and very comfortable. The staff were phenomenal, they catered to our needs and wants. They were very, very, helpful from arrival to departure. My wife and I will FOREVER REMEMBER OUR STAY, MORESO OUR SPECIAL DAY. THANK YOU MELANIE & SIMONE, THANK YOU WINDJAMMERS RESORT..We will be back for our Anniversary. Thanks to all we really enjoyed every moment of our stay..

We arranged the wedding with very short notice to our previously planned vacation. Melanie, the Wedding Planner was superb, she facilitated all the decisions over e-mail with ease and enough information to make informed decisions. We met at the location and she immediately put my Bride to be at ease with her friendliness and professionalism, showing us the venue upfront and answering any questions we had.
Our wedding was very intimate, with a very small group and so our relatively no fuss approach was delivered perfectly.
I would recommend both the destination and Melanie as an organizer to anyone that wants to have a Caribbean Wedding. Thank you very Much Melanie.

Beautiful beach wedding with great planning and accommodations! The hotel is in a great location with many things to do. It was a relaxed, beautiful wedding with close friends and family. We did the boat cruise after in the sunset and it was a perfect way to end the night.

This was the wedding of my dreams. Lynn Joseph from the day we decided we were going to have our wedding at the Windjammer was beyond accommodating and far exceeded our expectations. From the bouquets to my arch, everything was so beautiful!! Even when I ran beyond late, Lynn made sure everything was set and my ceremony went off without a hitch! Even to the reception, every detail was spectacular and all of our guests kept reiterating how good our wedding coordinator was. Lynn, you are the best! If I could do my day over I so would not change a single thing, that's how happy we were. Very impressed.

Also I was very happy with the resort as well. Everyone's rooms were upgraded and their views were amazing!

This was our first visit to St. Lucia, We wanted our ten year anniversary/vow renewal to be somewhere perfect and we were not disappointed. Very friendly staff, great tasting food, nice family friendly atmosphere. Melanie helped me plan this renewal via emailing ans she was prompt on replying. Our vow renewal was perfect Melanie went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect and it was. What I loved the most besides the setup is that we were not rushed. She let us take our time taking pictures etc. Everything came out just as planned. I couldn't have did this in a better place than this. Love this resort, will definitely be back!

I wanted a destination wedding because I didn't want all the stress and anxiety of planning. I wanted to buy a dress and show up and my wedding coordinator Melanie made my dream come true!

Melanie took care of every detail, details I would never have thought of. Although I made a lot of choices, it didn't seem that way, it was so easy! Every time I spoke with her or emailed, things only got better! The dj was phenomenal and the photographer was amazing as well. Melanie truly is a master of her craft and of taking care of the bride!

I was able to relax and enjoy the excitement leading up to our big day without freaking out; I trusted Melanie whole heartedly and I'm so grateful that I did!!

We were catered to and made to feel special every day! Our 16 guests (from 73 years old to 4 months old) all said this was the most intimate and beautiful wedding they'd ever attended; my response was that we only provided the love-everything else was Melanie!

The Windjammer feels like a home to us now and if you're considering a destination wedding you'd be a fool not to put your day in Melanie's hands!

I never thought that I'd say that my wedding was the best wedding I've been to, but seriously, my wedding was the best wedding I've ever attended. My now-husband and I got married at the Windjammer Landing Resort in May 2017. We selected the Windjammer because the room rates were pretty reasonable for our guests and the wedding coordinator was the most responsive out of all the other St. Lucian hotels we reached out to. We worked with Lynn Joseph for basically a year to plan our wedding. Lynn is amazing - she responded promptly and patiently to every email, had great suggestions to make the event even more spectacular, and even coordinated arrival shuttles for all of our guests. I cannot recommend Lynn enough.

As far as the actual wedding goes, we had our ceremony in the private garden and the reception was held on the beach under a tent. Both were so beautiful. We had 32 guests and all of them were blown away at how lovely everything looked. Lynn added little touches and upgrades that really made our day. The wedding officiant was incredible and really personable; it seemed like we'd known him for years even though we'd only met that day. Peter the wedding photographer was great at wrangling our rambunctious group and has a great eye for lighting and shots. The DJ had us dancing all night and everyone said that it was gift to be at our wedding.

I wholeheartedly recommend getting married at the Windjammer. It was the best day of our lives and a great way to start our marriage.

When we arrived at Windjammer on June 2nd, we were met in our room by our phenomenal wedding planner Lynn Joseph. Even though we weren't suppose to meet with her until Tuesday, she still came to check on us. She was also so kind as to upgrade us to a room with a fantastic view. Over the next few days our guest began to check in and they were greeted and provided rooms with great views as well. June 7th was the day of our wedding. Lynn had everything mapped out and organized. Latoya, the resort makeup artist did an excellent job with my makeup. Peter, the resort photographer came to take pictures of the groom and his guys and me and my girls getting ready. (We love Peter, he is so thorough) As we arrived on the beach for the wedding, I could see the setup and it was everything I envisioned and more. The colors looked great, everything was beautiful. I could here the ceremony music playlist going (thanks to Jacqueline Nicholas- activities manager) everything was going so smoothly. As I began to get choked up walking down the aisle with my dad, I could hear the voice of the officiant (Sherwin) calming me down. It was such a great day. Having our close family and friends there made it magical. The reception was just as beautiful. Embers restaurant was set up beautifully in the there were candles floating, fairy lights hanging, music playing and I could smell the wonderful aroma of food coming from the buffet. Everything felt so surreal. I couldn't believe the day had come, but it did and thanks to Lynn everything turned out so great! Lynn was always professional from day one and I am truly happy and grateful that she was my wedding planner. Despite the million emails I sent her, she was always patient and responsive.She worked with our budget and allowed us to customize things and we couldn't be more pleased. We are forever grateful to you Lynn! If anyone is thinking of planning their wedding in St. Lucia, look no further because Windjammers is your place!

My wife and I chose this resort because we wanted a destination wedding and something a little different. From the moment Lynn contacted us to give us more information on the resort we knew this was the place for us. Lynn made the whole process a blast and nearly effortless for us to plan; clearly laying out options and pricing. When disaster struck and due to weather the night before the wedding we were unable to use the venue we had chosen Lynn gave us a couple new options and it turned out absolutely fantastic, even better than the original plan! The food was amazing, all resort staff was fun, energetic and friendly, villas were clean and spacious. We will be back!

We highly recommend the Windjammer, you will not be disappointed!

The Windjammer Landing was the perfect venue, in the most beautiful location with the absolute best staff. The wedding planner, Melanie Reynold, is the very best I have ever met. He quickness to respond to us in the year leading up to the wedding, her ability to make our vision a reality, and her concern for us and all of our guests went completely above and beyond and we are floored by her amazing service. From the photographer, a Peter who was amazing, to the DJ, Mel picked the perfect staff for us. Trust me, if you put your wedding in her hands you won't be disappointed. We had 60 people attend our beach ceremony and reception. We spent he night dancing and laughing and eating, it was picture perfect and my husband and I had our dream day. The food was excellent both at the resort in general and at the wedding. About 50% of our guests work in the bar and restaurant industry so they can recognize quality and good service in a heartbeat... and everyone of them told us how impressed they were with the food, service and drinks at The Windjammer. The rooms were gorgeous with excellent views and very clean. The staff go above and beyond, always service with a smile. The resort took time to make everyone feel special especially the MOB ( who is still on cloud 9 after our experience) and the older guests who got Tod that suited their specific needs. Don't let any reviews about the hills and shuttles to the beach scare you..., it's easily walkable but you get a choice and don't have to walk if you don't want to. Thank you Windjammer for the best trip ever!

Our wedding was EXACTLY what we wanted. We had a private and intimate ceremony in the garden at Windjammer, overlooking the ocean, planned perfectly by the wonderful and sweet Lynn Joseph!!! Every detail, including the reverend, photographer and flowers, were so thoughtful and completely take care of thanks to Lynn. Every single person on staff was so incredibly kind and friendly and the experience was not only incredibly stunning but such a great memory full of beautiful detail! It was a dream and I would do it all over again (same husband too!) The resort was gorgeous and perfect for all wedding guests and our accommodations could not have been more amazing! Perfection!

I can not recommend the Windjammer enough for a wedding venue. The planning was hassle free, thanks to Lynn Joseph, everything was straight forward and highly professional. The Windjammer hotel is a beautiful resort with a choice of locations within for your wedding ceremony. Everything was organised by Lynn and went exactly as I planned. The staff are amazingly friendly and will go out of there way to help with anything you need. Perfect resort for a wedding along with the friendliest and most helpful staff.

I worked with Melanie on my wedding renewal ceremony, which was a surprise to my husband. She helped me plan my renewal in less than a week! Her attention to detail was outstanding. She thought of details I never considered. She was fantastic at keeping the ceremony a secret from my husband. She was quick to return emails and was incredibly responsive. With little detail, she was able to create a vision I had only dreamed about. I was blown away how beautiful the location was and the attention to detail she planned when decorating the location. I would highly recommend a wedding, and renewal, at the Windjammer Landing and more importantly working with Melanie to create the wedding of your dreams!

My husband and I were married on the beach at Windjammer in August of 2016. We chose Windjammer due to the fact that we had friends and family traveling with us and we needed a family friendly resort. We can't say enough amazing things about the way we were treated by the staff at Windjammer!!!! It is a beautiful resort that pays such close attention to detail and makes every guest feel like royalty. We loved how safe we felt on the resort and how at ease we were with the activities available for the kids. The food was amazing at every restaurant, and especially at our wedding reception which went off without a hitch!!! We cannot wait to go back to Windjammer again!!!! We also would come back if we were just traveling as a couple. While there are tons of activities for kids, the resort is a perfect place for a relaxing couples get away as well. We loved it! We can honestly say this was the best trip we have ever taken!

My husband and I were married at Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort in November 2016 and I 100% recommend it! We had 16 guests there with us and every one of them have said they would recommend the same! Lynn was our wedding planner and I have to say that what she did for us was priceless. Throughout the planning process we felt Lynn was always there with great suggestions and made the goal of stress free wedding planning a reality. We communicated through email to plan every last detail- accommodations, taxis from the airport, appetizers for our welcome party, the rehearsal dinner, and all the important details of the big day. The ceremony was held on a balcony of a beautifully decorated private villa overlooking a stunning Labrelotte Bay, followed by cocktail hour with a steel band playing. We were able to special request the best bartender ever- Barry is the man!!! After we headed down to beachside Embers restaurant for the reception. The decorations were beautiful, the food was delicious, the cake was perfect with vanilla and chocolate sea shells, and the dj kept the music coming. The photographer, Peter, was really nice and did a fantastic job capturing the day for us. Overall the resort staff made us feel at home and we are truly looking forward to going back to visit!

BOOK HERE! Both the resort and Melanie, my planner are top notch! I am from CA, so planning a destination wedding for 40 guests is a bit stressful. Melanie worked tirelessly with me, on all details of the wedding (I definitely have champagne taste and work in the fashion industry, so needless to say I was particular!) Melanie was incredibly quick to respond to all my emails requests even up until the day before both myself and entire party arrived to the resort. She was patient with me and always worked to give me a wide variety of options and even included great suggestions on ideas I hadn't thought of! Once my guests and I arrived, our entire week at the resort was nothing short of PERFECT! Melanie and the entire staff at Windjammer went out of their way to over deliver on absolutely everything for us. We had a full week of activities planned for our guests, including a private sunset cruise for our reception along with dinners every night at all of the wonderful on property restaurants. We had our ceremony on the beach followed by steel drum band for cocktail hour and then tent on the beach reception and dancing. We rented one of the private villas with our closest friends - which I would highly recommend! Stunning views and an incredible way to spend such a memorable time. From start to finish, everything was literally perfect! We are still hearing from our guests that this was one of the most incredible weddings they have ever attended (from the resort being top notch, to the pre-wedding events, to the wedding itself)
Prior to booking at Windjammer, I did extensive (we were engaged for two years) on many of the resort on the island. I can say with 120% assurance this is the absolutely best location and the most incredibly caring group professional wedding/resort staff we have ever met. You are in the very best of hand with Melanie and her team. If I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat and not change a single thing

I would gladly recommend the Windjammer Landing Resort to any couple thinking of a wedding resort. The wedding planner was very professional and accommodating, provided essential information and remained available to answer every call, query,etc; she worked within our budget and personalized the wedding package to our satisfaction. I must add that this led to minimal stress on our special day. The ceremony was beautiful - decor, arrangements, food - all exceeded our expectations.

Windjammer landing is a very special and unique place to have your wedding. The wedding planners here are fabulous! But also the entire team is amazing, from the photographer, bridal hair and make-up artists, and the justice of the peace- all went above and beyond our expectations. The wedding planners are very responsive in communication, and do their very best to accommodate anything you want for your wedding. Food is excellent. Flowers used in ceremony are exquisite. Family friendly resort, but you can still have your privacy :)

Book it!! The Windjammer Landing is the most beautiful resort and made for the perfect venue. Lynn helped us with every detail for our wedding. We chose the Windjammer because it looked beautiful in pictures and we wanted a stress free wedding and we were so happy that the resort was even more beautiful than any of the pictures online show. We got married on the beach and had our ceremony down on the beach under a tent also. We booked the wedding a year and a half before our wedding date and Lynn was so great through the whole process. She was so responsive to my millions of emails, not to mention emails from all of our wedding guests. We had more guests come than we originally anticipated so we moved the wedding from Embers to the beach and it was so worth it. It was the most beautiful and magical wedding. The flowers BLEW my mind. I wasn't sure what we were going to get because it was all done through pictures but they were so much more beautiful than I imagined. We had lights strung all around the tent and in the tent giving the whole reception a beautiful glow. The dance floor was open air between the tent and the bar and had more beautiful lights above it. The entire staff was amazing and treated our guests so nicely. All of our friends and family keep telling us that it was the best wedding they've ever been to. I wouldn't hesitate recommending this venue to another bride. I wish we could relive the day over and over again!!

We decided to elope and after searching through many resorts, decided to go with Windjammer Landing since the scenery looked amazing, and the wedding coordinator, Melanie, sold us on the location and wedding package! We couldnt have been happier! This was our first trip to St Lucia, and we were blown away by how hospitable and friendly literally everyone at the resort was. Melanie went above and beyond helping us plan dinner reservations off property and on site, and planning events and taxis. The resort location was so picturesque, every day we had a beautiful view of the ocean, beach, and amazing sunsets. We were even upgraded to a 2 bedroom villa upon our arrival, which was incredible! Our villa was so spacious, with a private pool, and fantastic decks with views. Food and drinks were wonderful, there are so many great restaurants to choose from, it was hard to decide! We relaxed on the beautiful beach as much as we could.
Our wedding was on the beach at sunset, just the two of us. Melanie really helped coordinate everything perfectly and made it stress free, walking us through everything we needed! I had my hair done by Isa, and make-up by Toya at the Spa, and they both really listened to how I wanted to look for a beach elopement, they helped start off the special day so much! When it came to the ceremony, it was exactly how we wanted, couldnt have expected anything more! The weather was gorgeous, and we had our own private section of the beach with the ocean on one side, and the beautiful resort on the other. We loved the officiant as he kept us relaxed and lighthearted even though we were nervous. The photographer Peter was really fun to work with as well, he helped us get some great shots and worked with us to get the right pose and angles. We could tell his photos will turn out amazing!
We left feeling very sad to leave a great spot, we know we want to come back to celebrate anniversaries with friends and families and will certainly be recommending the W

Windjammer Landing was amazing! My husband and I are beyond happy that we decided to have a destination wedding, especially at Windjammer. The staff was such a pleasure to work with and Lynn, my wedding coordinator was absolutely fabulous. She was so fast to respond to all my emails and was extremely organized. She made planning from New York easy and stress- free. Everyone at the resort was so accommodating and strived to make this our best day ever, and it truly was. The day couldn't have turned out better- the decor, photographer, music, and setting was all perfect. Everyone raved about the food and music at the reception. My husband and I decided to have a destination wedding with 35 of our closest friends and family at Windjammer Landing. It turned out better than we ever could have even imagined. I was skeptical to plan a wedding from hundreds of miles aware but from the very beginning Melanie Reynold (wedding specialist) made everything easy, straightforward, and hassle free. You really are able to be as specific and involved as you do or do not want to be.

Once we got to the resort our entire group was blown away by the beauty of the resort and accommodations, friendliness of the staff, and delicious food. Everyone from the front desk, shuttle drivers, to house keepers really try to get to know you and make your stay more personable.

On our wedding day Melanie made sure everything ran smoothly. The whole resort seemed to come together as a big team to make everything happen, from the spa to the food service and shuttles. They turn the beach bar Embers into an unrecognizably beautiful and elegant reception venue. The DJ and food were excellent. Photographer had the personality and talent we needed. We really felt special on our big day!

I would have my wedding here again 10 times over, and cannot wait to return for future anniversary vacations! Our entire family agrees! We really cannot put into words how awesome our trip was!

Book the Windjammer!! We loved every minute of it. Lynn, our wedding specialist took care of everything! From booking my spa appointments to making sure our guests got to the rehearsal cruise in time. She took the stress out of planning a wedding. I can't thank her enough for that. My husband and I just returned from the most amazing week of our lives in St. Lucia, all thanks to the amazing team at the Windjammer Landing Resort! We got married at this location on Friday, April 29th and it was the best decision we could have ever made. We brought 50 crazy family and friends from Miami to this beautiful island, and everyone is still raving about how amazing the wedding was. Everything from the rooms, to the food, the music, the drinks, the attention.. it was perfect! I could not have done any of it without the superb assistance from my wedding planner, Melanie. She helped me every step of the way and made our dreams come true. We held the wedding at the beach and the reception at the Dragon Fly Restaurant, everything was exactly how we had envisioned it. The flowers, the decor, the music, the buffet.. it was all beautiful. Thank you Mel, you are the very best! Her husband Joseph is great too, they both helped organize the transportation for all of our guests and it was done smoothly, and very well organized.
For the wedding, we also had an amazing photographer Peter. We felt at ease and natural with his creativity. As well as with our violinist in the ceremony. He played the song I wanted to walk down the aisle to perfectly and everyone was impressed with his skills. Even more so, the DJ at the reception. He totally knew how to rock a Miami crowd, everyone had so much fun! The team at the Windjammer really goes above and beyond for you. My husband and I really felt at home and made friends with everyone around us. The resort has a great variety of restaurants, in which I recommend everyone to try the Papa Dons and Upper Deck. Also, plan a group excursion for your wedding guests with Nick. He helped us organize a sunset catamaran ride the day after the wedding and everyone loved it! Lastly, do not look any further... the Windjammer has something truly special. It is true paradise and you get to share it with friends and family on your big day!

My husband and I recently returned from a week long vacation to the Windjammer and can honestly say it was a trip of a lifetime ... Not only because of the beautiful surroundings and attentive staff but also because we chose resort as our wedding venue. Our wedding planner was AMAZING and we couldn't have asked for a more special day . She put me at ease and the whole day was planned out exactly as expected. We had our ceremony in the private hilltop garden with amazing views. Our reception was then held at Embers which was completely transformed to an elegant and intimate dinner for us and our 30 guests. The hotel staff was amazing . Our photographer Peter was so creative and talented. Everyone had the time of their life and I'm still hearing from our guests hat a great time they had! We can't wait to visit again soon .

We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding, Lynn looked after us from start to finish. The planning stage was easy, informative, reliable and friendly.
We met Lynn a couple of days into the holiday with the lawyer and went over final details. Lynn organise spa treatments, restaurant booking, flowers, transportation to name a few - I literally had nothing to do! Brilliant!
The service was lovely in the gazebo, the photographer was brilliant - we had a rainy wedding - he made the photos look amazing, catching raindrops in the light - amazing!
Highly recommend!

We dreamed of a perfect beach wedding and Windjammer delivered exactly that! From day 1, Lynn our wedding planner took over. From location to decorations, every little detail was spot on! We had created a vegetarian menu and the chef cooked the food better than I could imagine. We were all well looked after by everyone at Windjammer, and so were our guest! We will definitely be coming back soon, as we have made so many friends there now.

My sister got married at Windjammer last week. We had Mel and Lynn as our wedding planners, and both of them were absolutely fantastic.

Mel was very responsive to all of our requests and made sure we were taken care of every where we went, wedding day or not. Her suggestions for the wedding day were perfect and my sisters wedding turned out beautifully. I will forever remember dancing the night away on the beach as the sun set over top of us.

The actual wedding day had some spurts of rain but Mel came prepared with umbrellas for all of our guests and so the wedding went on without a hitch, and without wet guests!! So important.

Thank you for everything! It was absolutely beautiful, I don't think the day could have turned out any better.

We will be back to visit again soon.

Beautiful place to get married ! We were very happy with the Ceremony on the beach. Very romantic and just perfect.
Our wedding organizer, Lynn, was amazing, she organized everything the way we wanted. Beginning with the color of the flowers they provided for us, to our request that we didn't want religious and too serious Ceremony. The Minister was just great and did everything the way we wanted. The landscaping crew made a beautiful heart made of flowers on the beach for us !
Overall , Windjammer Landing Resort is beautiful, service is perfect and people are the best of all ! We picked perfect place to get married :)

From the start our wedding planner Lynn was attentive, on the ball and very personal. Every query I had, big or small she answered in a very timely manner and always with as much detail as possible.
By the time we were ready to fly over to St Lucia I felt like I knew Lynn personally and was looking forward to meeting her.
We were given an itinerary by her before we arrived so we knew what meetings we had to attend, nothing was left in the air.
On the day all I needed to worry about was getting myself ready. A friend helped set up the wedding favours & Lynn took care of everything else, it was all done so perfectly!
I would also like to give credit to the photographer Peter, who is truly brilliant at his trade. Not only were the pictures beautiful but he was also very personable and great to work with. It was impossible to choose our pictures, so we ordered all of them.
I also give a big thanks to the chefs. We went for the traditional St Lucian menu and the food was fabulous. The waiting staff were also great, they were all so friendly and commented on how good our wedding was days after. We had 42 guests and everyone was well fed and watered.
We had a brilliant real dance floor on the sand with a smoke machine, all thanks to lovely Lynn which went down a treat and we definitely partied hard! Every aspect of our special day was fantastic, I wish we could do it all again!
I can't vouch for the other resorts on the island, but if you are planning to have a destination wedding Windjammer is the place to go to. Again we want to say a massive thank you to Lynn for being a prefect wedding planner and for making the whole process so easy for us. She is a credit to the resort. Thank you to Peter for capturing every moment of our wedding, the photos you took are such a great representation of our big day. Lastly thanks to the make-up artist, waiting staff and chefs you all played a huge part in making our day everything we dreamed it would be!

We have been the first time in St. Lucia and have chosen the Windjammer Landing for our wedding... and it could have not been better! The resort is beautiful situated in a private bay and consists of several villas sitting on a nice hill with great bay view. While traveling the island we have seen other resorts and we have been so happy that we decided for the Windjammer.
Our wedding planner Melanie and Lynn really took good care of us. I felt special from the first time I got in contact with Melanie. It was very easy and lots of fun planning the wedding with her. She had great ideas, offers and suggestions. And moreover she took care of all the paper work, so we could really relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding and honeymoon.
Everything turned out the way we talked about and was even better than expected. The bouquet and the decoration at the beach was just beautiful... my make-up and hair style which was done at the Spa was stunning... the ceremony was sweet and enchanting... the photos taken by Peter the professional photographer are amazing... the whole day was just perfect!!!
For every couple who wants to get married in St. Lucia I really recommend this resort and the team of two wonderful ladies who make your wedding a perfect dream!

Just this July 2015, my husband and I got married in the Windjammer Landing. It was everything we wanted it to be. Our wedding coordinator Lynn was a superstar. She was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect. She went out of her way to make sure that we get the best experience possible. I commend her for the service she provided us. Even after the wedding, she answers our emails about legalities and other questions.

The resort is top of the line. Service, food, rooms are very very good. The people in Windjammer are very nice, helpful and friendly. It was a home away from home. Everything was absolutely perfect! How it looks in the website pictures are really what it looks like in person.

Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but to have a destination wedding when you never have been to the location before is even more stressful. However, the Windjammer Wedding Planners were amazing! Right from the start when I was trying to plan where we want to have our destination wedding I had been emailing a lot of different destination resorts to get price quotes. The Windjammer staff’s response time was amazing always within 1 business day. Some of the other resorts I had emailed requesting quotes never replied to me, EVER. Their staff put me at ease. The room we had was beautiful! When I got to the Windjammer Lynn was my contact for the wedding. I cannot even praise her enough for how great of a job she did. I had forgotten my music at home that I was going to play when I walked down the aisle. She asked me the song and downloaded it herself to have it play during the ceremony. I did not have to stress about it, it was taken care of for me. The wedding was so beautiful. The flowers were beautiful and the setup! The Officiant was great and he was very funny! We had lots of laughs during the ceremony. Photography, Peter takes gorgeous pictures! We had only had the Best Man and Maid of Honor with us for our wedding so we did not plan a reception. However, I did see another wedding the following day that had a reception and it looked like everyone was having a great time and it was beautifully setup. Lynn made us reservations for the 4 of us after the wedding at Papa Don's. They had a banner up that said congratulations and extra decorations and flowers at the table which was very nice. The rest of our stay was very relaxing. All the staff made our Wedding, Honeymoon and vacation a time in our lives we will always remember. I cannot wait to visit again! If you plan on getting married….GET MARRIED AT THE WINDJAMMER!

With wedding guests telling us that this was such a fun beautiful wedding, we couldn't be more pleased with the Windjammer Landing. Being the parents of the groom, we had the wedding day eve events to plan made very easy by Melanie our wedding planner. She helped coordinate all the plans and answered all of our questions and requests. The staff of the Upper Deck restaurant we picked for the rehearsal dinner were all so accommodating and fun. They added to the evening's joyful atmosphere with their interaction, fulfilling requests and ensuring that everyone was taken care of. The food was delicious. Many thanks to Chef and his staff.

The Windjammer front desk people were all pleasant and patient in checking in our 60+ guests, and the shuttle service to get around the large resort was impressive with their minimal wait time and driving skills!

The resort itself is located at a beach and flows up the side of the mountain, so the room ocean views are stunning and framed with lush greenery and flowers. We would recommend this resort not just for weddings but for anyone wanting to get away and be pampered.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised the staff always pleasant, well organized, and helpful. We were married at the Windjammer villa resort in May. It was a great beautiful day and everything went as planned. Very professional! Lynn (our wedding director) was a great help and made sure everything was perfect! We called her a week before and she arranged it all, we just had to show up. We went sailing that morning for 4 hours because I knew it was all being taken care of. I like the fact that they only do one wedding a day. We were at Sandels for another wedding and it was confusing and booked back to back all day. Their day was not special like ours was. My Husband and I just got married at the Windjammer Landing on February 16th 2013. Our wedding was no small production as we had over 120 guests. Simone, Melanie, and Lynn were involved in every single detail from guest reservations; to ground transfers, and everything in between. They even assisted in the planning of our welcome dinner, which was off site. In addition to arranging our dinner, the wedding planners were also able to secure a large catamaran complete with a 5 piece steel band (Pan Sonic), full bar and crudités. It was a great way to travel and arrive at local restaurant The Edge, which is highly recommended as well.
Our wedding was too large for the Dragon Fly restaurant, so that meant we were on the beach for both the ceremony/cocktail hour and reception. The planers coordinated everything, including chair & tent rentals, flowers, bands (Pan Sonic & DYP - both AMAZING), even a little surprise intro of the groom and his best men via Jet Ski. Everything was perfect. The food at the cocktail hour & beach BBQ were both amazing. We received many compliments for both. We also hired the Fire dancers for a half-hour show - total crowd pleaser! DYP is hands down the best band on the island and they were incredible the service was AMAZING, we had the best bartenders & waiters on the island… each one really made the experience that much better.
The next day they arranged an in villa BBQ for our guests and us. Villa 400 is great for entertaining and the spread was beautiful! The BBQ on site consisted of; jerk chicken/Ribs/beef (to die for), a brisket carving station, Salads, pasta, fresh veggies, potatoes and an array of fabulous deserts
From the beginning to the end Simone, Melanie and Lynn were fabulous. They made our wedding planning easy & fun, they are so detailed and came up with great ideas & suggestions along the way! I can honestly say I miss them as well as everyone at the windjammer.

Melanie and Lynn the Wedding Specialist at the Windjammer were everything and more we could have asked for. We arraigned everything via email but we felt like they knew us and when we finally met it was seeing friends. Melanie and Lynn handled everything and didn't miss a detail flower petals in the shuttle for the bride, flowers from the wedding at our dinner table. They were our witnesses and even took pictures for us along with the photographer. They were alwys quick to respond to a question or give advice. If you have your wedding at Windjammer you won't be disappointed, not with Melanie and Lynn. We can't say enough about them Nd the fantastic job they did making our day everything and more than we imagined.

We were looking for a honeymoon destination that was special and found this beautiful resort. When we found out they did weddings too, it was too good an opportunity to miss out on, so we booked our wedding in favour of the uk. The ceremony took place in the gazebo on the beach on the 11th April 2013. Lynn, the wedding planner took care of everything - flowers, transport, photography, champagne etc etc and most importantly, the legalities. It was the most amazing and unforgettable wedding we have every been to - our own!
Before we travelled, we were contacted by email to arrange the flowers, and other aspects of the ceremony. We had a table booked at the resorts Upper Deck Restaurant for dinner afterwards.
As a suprise, my hubby booked the kettle band, and a video of the event. This was all arranged in secret, by email directly with the resort staff.
Lynn also arranged a professional photographer (Peter), and the pics are amazing.
Every course of food we had was amazing, and all 5 restaurants are great - the cocktails were great too! We worked our way through the list.
I 100% recommend this venue for your wedding. It will be an experience you will never forget, and one you will cherish for ever. I feel very privileged to have been able to marry in such a beautiful setting, with everything covered. We only had to turn up.
The wedding planner even organised the lawyer to come to us to save us having to find our own way into town. All we had to do was produce our documentation. Absolutely everything is done for you.
Dont be put off by the pics of villas being elevated. You dont even have to walk anywhere. There is a shuttle service which goes around and around the resort 24/7 picking up and dropping off.
If you want a lazy holiday with lovely food, drink, sun, the most beautiful beach, clean water and incredibly friendly, helpful staff - then this one is worth every single penny!
We can't wait to go back.

Ours was a Renewal of Vows ceremony. It was perfect. Make up, flowers and venue were fabulous. The ladies organising everything were so easy to work with. Nothing was too much trouble and we knew that they would organise whatever we wanted. They are such warm and genuine ladies. It was a very special day for us and Windjammer made it such a memorable one.

Right after I did the booking I asked to get information on vow renewal and I got a quick response from Lynn Joseph (wedding planner). The communication throughout the planning was always good, I got a response from Lynn almost immediately and she was always helpful. The quality of service was great as she always made sure we had everything in place for the celebration. Also we met in person once we were in the hotel and we went through all the details of what we had planned for the big day. We had a great moment to remember for the rest of our lives and Lynn was responsible for this success.

My partner and I stayed in one of the Hisbiscus suites and we got married there also during our 10 day stay.

As a resort alone, Windjammer surpassed my expectations. My partner's family have been coming back for many years and this was my first time visiting - I could certainly see why they come back for more. The hospitality received from all staff was incredible, they're like a family so you always feel welcomed. The food and facilities were all top notch too.

Our wedding was the icing on the cake! We had a very small wedding (just the two of us).. Lynn and her team made it such a stress-free and enjoyable day.. the rain didn't ruin anything either! Lynn was on hand in the lead up to the day to answer all of my mundane questions by email and ensured things ran smoothly on the day also.

If you're thinking of booking your wedding here, my advice would be to go for it. The pictures do not do it justice!

When planning our vacation at St Lucia we noticed that windjammer Landing could help us planning the wedding.
They really did a splendid job. Exactly how we wanted it to be: easy ,low key but yet romantic. The crew at the Hotel was helpful and responsive to our wishes and guided us through the planning in a very nice way.
Barefoot at beach in the Carribien sunset,it couldn't be better arranged!

We decided to do our wedding/honeymoon at Windjammer and I am so glad we did. We had such a great time. The team were responsive, organize, flexible with great quality of service. They made my special day truly special and completely stress free even through some last min changes in plan due to weather. I had such a great time in fact that we got pregnant during our time there. :-D
Honestly the team was just great, from the DJ at reception, the Photographer, the officiant, the cake, the decorations, the Musician at ceremony, the food were all so awesome. The wedding coordinators we so helpful. The only thing I would ding them on is on their makeup/hair consultants. I would recommend more professional and well trained makeup artists and hair dressers. But overall, I would definitely recommend. All my guest still reminisce on how much fun we had.

My experience at the Windjammer was amazing!! First of all the resort is beautiful. It is set on a hillside so no matter where you are on the resort the views are spectacular. I had my marriage ceremony there and the service was great. Lynn our wedding planner was the best. She made sure to review everything with me the day before and if I had any changes they were done immediately. The food was excellent and the service was fast. I never had a bad meal. The room we stayed in was the hibiscus suite and it was very roomy. Over all the experience at the Windjammer was excellent and I would defiantly go back again...maybe for our wedding anniversary!

I would highly recommend having a wedding at WindJammer. The wedding coordinator Melanie really made my bridal experience feel very special and bring our vision to life. Melanie was the best wedding planner a bride could ask for, she listened to our vision and took care of all our needs, every detail and style was looked after, down to the color of my wedding was just breathtaking, exactly what I imagined. We enjoyed every moment, she assured us from day one it would be stress-free and that's exactly how it was. Thanks Mel, you did an exceptional job, we'll be sure to see you again to renew our vows!

We originally booked this hotel as a holiday but after getting engaged we decided to inquire about getting married here. Lynn, the wedding planner, was so professional we decided to go ahead and we are so glad we did. The whole experience exceeded all our expectations. Lynn took care of absolutely everything (sending us pictures of everything for us to choose like the ceremony location, flowers and decorations) and asking what we wanted like a band, for the evening etc and the wedding planning became completely stress-free. Lynn greeted us on arrival and ran through everything with us organising for the lawyer to come to the hotel so we could sign the paperwork. On the actual day the weather wasn't brilliant and we had to resort to plan B (a gazebo wedding) but Lynn organised this seamlessly as if this was always the plan. It feels like a risk to organise a wedding in a location you have never been to but it was honestly the most perfect day made possible by the most perfect wedding planner and venue. We would not hesitiate to recommend windjammer and in particular lynn. We were so sad to leave but have the most incredible memories of a wonderful day. We can't thank Lynn enough

My wedding was wonderful! Lynn and the rest of the staff at Windjammer were wonderful to work with. Because of rain the night before, we were upgraded to a private patio overlooking the property for our wedding! The flowers, the food and all of the little touches were so very nice! I'd highly recommend them again!

There isn’t anything I will change about my wedding except the time period.. A longer reception would have been ideal. However, it was a perfect beach wedding with exquisite decor and amazing service. The wedding coordinator (Melanie Reynolds) was attentive to my need and made everything effort to deliver. The dj ideal for the guests and everyone had such an enjoyable time.

I am en route back from WJL and wanted to give an honest review of the wedding and the resort itself. Here are my thoughts, no particular order.

Wedding coordinator: I worked with Melanie Reynold and she is superb. We initiated contact with 14 months before the wedding and she was always giving us her best. She's thoughtful, diligent and very kind. We took many of her recommendations and have no regrets The ceremony setup, reception setup and dance party was all stunning. Many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they've been to. Mel threw in many surprises that I am so grateful for. She just made us feel so special. Even after the wedding, she was still our go to person while we were on the resort. She is AWESOME!

DJ Martin at Audio Inc.: He delivered a great night and also was our MC. We met up with Martin the day before. It was great to have done so. Really cleared up stuff. Highly, highly recommend.

Violinist: Pass on him. He really disappointed

Flowers: Mel and I exchanged emails to select the flowers. They were perfect and lasted the whole week!! Pricey but superb!

Beach Tent: We had our reception on the beach with cocktails before hand. I loved being on the beach and dancing under the stars was awesome. The only complaint would be the washroom was a bit far of a walk but not overly so.

On-site hairstylist, Ira: Very professional. Knows her stuff! Highly recommend.

Reception food & drinks: We went their most expensive buffet menu and premium drinks option. For drinks, I’d make it clearer that drinks should be the first thing served and just keep pouring them. The bar tenders are so nice and friendly. Make use of the 96 degree bar.

Overall: Over the moon happy. We took such a risk: never been to St. Lucia and never been to WJL. Was really nervous the week before departure. Meeting Mel and her crew took the anxiety all away from Day 1 of landing. We will be back for our 10 year anniversary and many of our guests have asked to join

My favorite thing about St Lucia and the Windjammer Landing Villa Beach Resort was renewing my vows at the Estate Villas. My guests were impressed with everything including the view, the minister, the food and the staff. Lynn was my primary point of contact as the Wedding Coordinator and she provided 5 star treatment to me and my guest. Melanie also shared this responsibility and she was equally as warm and competent as Lynn. By the time I left St Lucia, they felt like family. Oh!!! Let's not forget my breathtaking flower bouquet. My ceremony was on the 6th and today is the 17th and I still have the bouquet. Getting them back in the country was a pain but.... the ceremony/reception was so AWESOME that I simply could not let them go. :-)

My wife and I had an amazing vow renewal experience thanks to the beauty of the Windjammer Resort, the extremely polite and accommodating staff, and the beauty of that part of the island itself. Our coordinator Lynn Joseph went above and beyond with making sure all details were covered so that we could relax our entire trip. This place should be a top pick for any couple that wants a family-friendly resort experience with all of the scenic views and water activities that St. Lucia has to offer.

We had our wedding at the Windjammer Landing villa resort July 2018. That was out third time staying at the resort and we absolutely loved it. The rooms and villas were lovely with a wonderful view of the mountains and ocean. We enjoyed our dinners at The Jammers and the Italian restaurant Papa Dons. We eat at Papa Dons twice. The location is not far from Rodney Bay where you can dine, gamble, get a spa and shop.
Melanie Reynold the Wedding coordinator was awesome. Melanie was a pro at arranging every detail of our wedding. She handles our large guest list of a 100 people. She attended to my specific needs and was able to handle anything I threw at her. Melanie helped me planned the entire wedding from start to finish. From designing my overall vision and hiring and meeting with vendors to coordinating the day of the wedding. She answered planning questions, dealt with logistics like contracts and organizing vendors and timelines.
I feel like Melanie and I are best friends. We were constantly planning through emails, calls and text messages. She arranged the wedding rehearsal, and the meeting of the pastor. Chef Rene the chef for the reception was excellent and the food was superb. Helen Mercedes at the front desk was fun and bubbly. Donna at the Dragon Fly served us breakfast every morning with a smile. The staff overall were warm and friendly. We had our ceremony on the hilltop with a fantastic view and our reception at the Dragon Fly which was spacious. Our Photographer Peter was good also. My guests are still talking about my wedding at Windjammer. They enjoyed themselves tremendously. I had the wedding of my dreams. The DJ was great and entertained my guests that were mostly Grenadians and Lucians.
Melanie, I thank you tremendously. You took away a lot of the stress of having destination wedding. I highly become Windjammer Landing resort for a destination Wedding.

My hubby and I decided in April to get marry, I made a few calls and lucky was introduced to Melaine Reynolds ( via the Phone) BEST THING EVER!!!!!!
She is the resident wedding planner at Windjammer REsort Landings.... it was such a blessing as she was professional, approachable and certainly meets all criteria for the role.
The Resort can be a tad pricey but the services, products and standands matches the price. We arrived on the island on the 25th May and stayed in Villa 10 and some of our guests were scattered around the resort and they too shared our sentiments. The reception/ welcome team, the 2 pools, the 5 quaint unique resturants, the location to the beach and most of all the Kids Clubs all helped to make our vacation a memorable one.
P.S. The shuttles buses' drivers were are pleasant ,patient and informative .

Leading up the our Big day ( 1st June) ..... Mel took us through each and every aspect of wedding , ensuring we understsood and met the requirement for an eazy and stress-free day. From drafting the initial proprosal to the excution, she and her team were excellent, they offered alternatives and helped Kester( my Hubby) and to stay within our ever-stretching budget) .
On the wedding day, Mel was in full "wedding -Planner" MODE!!!!
She was dressed appropriately to help in all areas of the day from behind the scenes . The Windjammer Team along with their Contractors e.g. Photographers, Cake designers,Steel pan player and DJs worked in unison to excute a first Class Day for us.
Overall, I would love to return the Resort because I was impressed with the level of professionalism and reliable service.

The wedding was beautiful! With that being said, I would recommend Windjammer, but it definitely wasn't a stress-free process without hiccups. We had about 80 guests. Luckily we mostly had the resort to ourselves so we didn't disturb other guests. All communication was done via email with the wedding planner Mel. Toya the MUA is excellent! The decor and flowers were really lovely. The food at the wedding was the best all weekend. The upgraded room was awesome. I brought my own photographer and used WJ's videographer. WJ uses Peter for photography and videography. Use him because he is excellent, and knows the layout of the resort. I did have to chase him down to actually receive the "DVD", which was really a 10GB link. The DJ was cool, but I did give him all the songs to play. He was quite entertaining though and was the MC of the night. The steel band was great during cocktail hour. It gave our guests something to do as we took pictures. Make sure you ask for every fee upfront because the one you use on their website doesn't include everything, i.e. a setup fee per person. The reception was in the Dragonfly restaurant since we had more than 50 people. The ceremony was on the beach so other hotel guests will pull up a chair and watch. If you want complete intimacy, do the ceremony in the private hilltop garden or a villa. Luckily we didn't have random folks in the background of the pictures. The responsiveness to our wedding guests prior to us arriving was just okay. A lot of guests had to ask me things because they weren't getting a response from the resort. When we finally got there for the wedding weekend the hotel staff were great! We were a rowdy bunch so I appreciate them putting up with us. We kept the shuttle bus staff very busy and definitely the bar staff! All my guests thoroughly enjoyed their time and villas at WJ.
