Best place ever! Highly recommend!

Our wedding was beyond our expectations in every way. The food was amazing, people talked about it for DAYS!!! the place was gorgeous. The staff accommodating and professional the service excellent. I have nothing but praise for this venue. Wish I could do it all again here!

Truly a hidden gem

We looked at a lot of restaurants and venues and just were not finding the right place for our wedding. A friend suggested Wind Watch Golf & Country Club. From the minute we walked in, we were sold. Beautiful room with beautiful views from the floor to ceiling windows. Outdoor ceremony space is gorgeous - unfortunately after the team set up for our ceremony, it started thundering and lightning- they tried to wait it out but it wasn’t clearing so the ceremony was moved inside - the staff was amazing! After all that, we were only running 10 minutes behind schedule!
I can’t say enough about the staff honestly. Danielle the banquet manager is just the best! She was very helpful prior to our special day answering all of our questions, always available when we wanted to stop by. She had tables set with different linens one day so I could choose what would look best with our centerpieces. Alex, the chef introduced herself that day and asked for our preferences on certain things especially in regard to our vegan/gluten free guests. Danielle let us bring all of our decorations over 2 days prior to the wedding and her assistant Alexa went over details with us that she followed through on the day of the wedding. I arrived the morning of our wedding and as Danielle walked me to the bridal suite, I noticed her outfit matched my colors - beyond thoughtful! Other than the thunderstorms, our day was perfect, the food was delicious and the staff went above and beyond our expectations! I can’t thank them enough for making our wedding perfect! Danielle drives a mean golf cart - she was watching the weather every minute - got us out on the golf course for our pictures and back before the storms! If you want to be the only affair on your special day, look no further than Wind Watch Golf & Country Club!

Wind Watch made my bridal shower perfect!

I had my bridal shower at Wind Watch on 6/13/2021. They made planning so enjoyable and I did not have to worry about a thing the day of/during the event! Some family members and my bridesmaids got to the venue before I could and they were almost done setting up when I got there! The tables were set up perfectly, they provided me a pretty, comfortable chair to sit in for the games and gift opening. The staff were very respectful and checked up on me and my guests very often to make sure we enjoyed our time, that we liked the food and had enough to eat. The staff was also so swift during food courses changes, it was amazing! Clean up was such a breeze as well! At one point, my attendant even gave me band-aids for a blister I was getting due to my heels. 10/10 recommend this venue.

Breathtaking!!!

What a hidden gem I’m so happy we found! We used Wind Watch for just our ceremony and fell in love with the space instantly! I did a lot of research on where we could have our ceremony and when I came across Wind Watch I knew this was the place! The pricing was very reasonable, the grounds are breathtaking, the views on the property are endless, and I couldn’t have asked for anything more! Everything relating to booking, getting info, rehearsal, and our wedding day itself was so easy and seamless! I can’t wait to go back one day and have my baby shower there to come full circle with our ceremony! I truly love this place and can’t wait to go back!

Professional, incredible, and a pleasure to work with

We had such an incredible evening with the Wind Watch. Every staff member was more incredible than the next. They were professional, on top of things, and fun. The bridal attendant was so sweet and knew exactly what to do in every situation. Eleanor was the most fantastic person to run our show. She knew what was happening before it happened and knew our families, who didn’t get along, she tried to keep people at the ceremony and made sure we were happy. Her assistant Erin went above and beyond. This venue, for not being as well known in the wedding venue market, is truly a hidden gem. We will be using them for future parties!

Something Blue..

Words cannot describe how happy me and my now husband was with Eleanor. From the 1st meeting up until the day off she was highly professional and easy to get in contact with. I felt completely comfortable knowing that Wind Watch and Eleanor would put together the wedding of my dreams and it was just that. The food was amazing and even 3 weeks after our wedding our guest are still talking about how good the food was. The venue is beautiful and if you can, take advantage of having an outdoor ceremony it's so picturesque! Thanks to everyone who helped make our day so special and easy going. We're already planning to have our baby shower here if I'm blessed to do so. Thank you again Eleanor for all of your hard work, advice, and caring nature. You put us at ease and we are forever greatful!

Beautiful venue

My husband and I just had our wedding here on 11/3/18. Eleanor the wedding coordinator is absolutely amazing. She is on top of everything from the moment you book till even after the wedding!! The food selection and taste are outstanding. We had a roaring 20s theme wedding and she made my visions come to life. The colors/decor of the table settings were exactly what we had wanted and more. Eleanor kept the guest where they were supposed to be prior to the ceremony and absolutely made sure everything went according to plan by 100% . We highly recommend booking this venue for any occasion, best of all is that you get the whole venue to yourself for the day!!!!! No sharing 🤗

I wish it were possible to give this venue and staff more than 5 stars...they are amazing! The venue is beautiful - we were lucky enough to get married outside and it was stunning. Our cocktail hour was inside and outside and the food was delicious. Our reception room was set up exactly how we envisioned it. We originally booked with Kim but after she retired, we were fortunate enough to work with Eleanor. She is wonderful, professional, attentive, responsive and fun to work with! Miguel greeted us as soon as we entered the venue, assisted us with loading our belongings, checked in on us all night and assisted us with pack up the next morning. Since we were busy dancing all night and visiting with our guests, the venue was kind enough to pack up our food and extra dessert. Words could never express how grateful we are to Wind Watch for executing our perfect wedding. I only wish we lived closer to host all our future events with them. But we will definitely be back!

We had our wedding here on September 1st and couldn’t be happier! The venue is beautiful and there are plenty of options for photos along the golf course, as well as right outside the venue. The ceremony spot outside is gorgeous. The menu offers a lot of food choices for cocktail hour and dinner, and the food is really good. Everyone was saying how much food there was during cocktail hour and how delicious it all was. Everyone was also commenting on how beautiful the venue was. Eleanor is great to work with, as well. Everyone was helpful leading up to the day and on the day itself. We also had our post wedding brunch here the day after the wedding which was a great decision, as it was a lot cheaper than having it at the Hyatt hotel next door and a much more beautiful option. We definitely recommend!!

The staff at Wind Watch is outstanding! They were so accommodating and helpful during the wedding process. Kim was a dream to work with! We are so happy we chose Wind Watch Golf and Country Club for our wedding! We've been to so many Long Island weddings and wanted a location that wasn't your typical catering hall and hosted one event at a time. We toured many venues, but when we walked into Wind Watch we knew it was the one. The outdoor ceremony location was beautiful, the views from the floor to ceiling windows in the ballroom were amazing, and the price for a Saturday night wedding was not outrageous. Working with our Event Director, Kim Hint, was such a pleasure. Right from the start she was warm and attentive. She answered all of my questions (there were a lot) in a timely manner, payed attention to every little detail, and kept me calm and happy, which is what a bride needs when planning her wedding. The day of our wedding went so smoothly. Kim, Miguel our Maitre D', and Angela our Bridal Attendant worked so hard to give us the perfect wedding day. All of our decorations were set up the way I envisioned and the room looked more beautiful than I could have imagined. Most importantly we got so many compliments on the food and could not believe how much there was. The cocktail hour rivaled any we've seen at a Long Island wedding venue and people who I know can be critical of catering hall food were raving about it. The wait staff and bar service was wonderful and all of our guests left so happy! We loved everything about our wedding day at Wind Watch and would highly recommend it for your next event!

Kim and her team at the Wind Watch were absolutely AMAZING. I don’t even know where to begin. My wedding was a little over a month ago and people are still coming up to us in awe of how fantastic the day was. The beauty of the venue speaks for itself; from the outdoor ceremony area, to the golf course pictures, to the room with windows overlooking the North Shore, the location gives the perfect romantic backdrop! Leading up to the wedding, Kim was incredibly organized and thorough – I am a type A person, but I wasn’t even the tiniest bit concerned leaving the details up to Kim because I’m pretty sure she could put together a wedding with her eyes shut! We even dropped off our candy bar items the week before the wedding and we forgot to write the labels, but Kim and Katelyn labeled and arranged everything perfectly. Now, the day of the wedding, little things will go wrong, but the Wind Watch will NOT be one of those things. My husband kept saying that our bridal attendant Katelyn deserved a medal for chasing me around holding my dress while we took pictures (I wanted to finish pictures in time for cocktail hour food)!! And FOOD, omg, so good. My husband and I tried food at a lot of different venues, and we like GOOD food… you will not be disappointed. Our guests literally could not believe that there was a full dinner after the endless cocktail hour!! As the bride and groom, we were honestly too busy to enjoy our food at the wedding, but the staff put together five giant boxes of cocktail, dinner, and dessert foods that we could take at the end of the night! After dancing and talking all night, it was super fun to actually get to taste our food once we left. I also used the recommended vendors, and I HIGHLY recommend each of them (Lana Rowe photography, Crowd Control Entertainment, Flowers by Burton). We will remember our wedding as nothing short of perfect, and it is because of the overwhelmingly kind, organized, and experienced staff at the W.W. TY!!!!! <3 <3

We held our wedding ceremony and reception at the Wind Watch and it was wonderful! The Wind Watch was the perfect venue and had everything we were looking for: great menu selection, gorgeous scenery, outdoor space for ceremony, nearby lodging, etc. Since many of our guests were from out of town, it was very convenient to have a large hotel just a short walk across the parking lot. The event manager was such a pleasure to work with, and was always prompt in answering questions I had in the year proceeding the wedding. On the day of the wedding, the service provided was top notch. Here it is two months later, and our guests are still talking about how delicious the food was (cocktail hour, dinner, and desserts!). The bridal attendant and maître d' were excellent and ensured all our needs were met. The locations surrounding the Wind Watch are absolutely beautiful and provided us with wonderful backgrounds for our photographs. The gorgeous scenery had a lot of variety ranging from a gazebo, trees, ponds, waterfalls, vistas, and golf course scenes. We are so thankful to the Wind Watch team for all their professionalism and highly recommend them.

We just had our wedding last Saturday and we are SO happy we found this hidden gem. Upon visiting the venue, we were blown away by the rolling greens and the beautiful backdrop of the North Shore. It was not until we met Kim Hint, the event planner and day of coordinator, that cemented our decision to go with Wind Watch. I am not going to lie, I have the highest expectations and have a bad case of bridezilla, but Kim was both so easy to work with and very on top of her game. She was organized, calm, detail-ed oriented, and able to multi-task. A lot of brides fail to factor in the importance of a great day of coordinator in their planning, but this may be one of the most important factors for the decision making process, because you have to trust that that person will keep the day organized, smooth, and stress-free for YOU.

I've lived in some of the food capitals of the world and was extremely nervous about country club food. I am not going to lie, I was still nervous after the food tasting at Wind Watch, but during the wedding day, Kim kicked it up a notch and showered my guests with a fresh and sophisticated o'dourves and dinner courses.

Lastly, I was blown away by their pricing. For a Saturday night in Long Island, they were priced below average, but had executed an above average wedding party.

Wind Watch was my the best decision I made through this whole wedding planning process.

Kim at Wind Watch was a pleasure to work with while planning our wedding. We knew we wanted a smaller venue that wouldn't have multiple weddings at once and Wind Watch fit the bill perfectly. Our wedding at the Wind Watch was perfect. Kim was super responsive all through the planning process. The day of the bridal attendant Sydney was so sweet and helpful and the maitre D was also amazing. I barely ate any of the food, but all guests said it tasted it really good. I hope one of my friends gets married at the Wind Watch so I can actually enjoy alllll of the food because there was sooo much of it. :) I would recommend the Wind Watch as a wedding venue to anyone who is looking for a classy and beautiful wedding.

The most important feedback I think any couple needs to know is that everything went off without a hitch leading up to and on our wedding day. We fell in love with the venue when we walked in, and meeting Kim locked it down in our minds. We'd visited 9 other venues in the Long Island and New Jersey area before we found Wind Watch, and it was clear right away that this was the one! Not only is the whole golf course property beautiful and well-manicured, the interior spaces are well-designed, well-appointed, and filled with natural light. The service and food were impeccable. We considered the whole experience an excellent value.

What a hidden gem!! I am so happy I was told about The Wind Watch because I am not sure if I would have found it in my searches. (The website does not do this place justice, you must go visit!) The second we walked in I was thinking to myself I hope he love it I hope he loves it and he did! We booked it the same day and we were thrilled we did. The place is beautiful and our wedding was in February so I think any time if year would be fantastic at The Wind Watch.

Planning was so easy with Kim she was so helpful and caring. She responded very quickly to any questions and I enjoyed working with her very much.

The place was perfect for us. We had 120 guests and we loved the idea of having the place to ourselves (one event at a time). However we saw the room set for 50 and for over 150 and it looked great at all sizes. The way the room is set up everyone has a good seat, there is a lobby for guests to sit if they want to get away from the music for a bit, and the restrooms were close to run back and forth quickly so you don't miss a beat! There is also a bridal suite with a private bathroom which for some reason was important to me to have my own bathroom!

But most importantly THE FOOD. People are still telling me how much they loved the food. I've heard the cocktail hour was the best they've had and the filet mignon was amazing (it was I had it).

The Hyatt regency is also within walking distance, like a 3 minute walk. This was perfect, we reserved a block of rooms and many of our guests stayed here. We also met for breakfast in the morning which was a nice relaxing way to end the celebration. We had a couple hours between our church ceremony and reception so guests were able to go to their rooms and relax for a bit.

Our guests loved The Wind Watch and everything about and so did we, it absolutely made our wedding the picture perfect day I dreamed it would be!

My husband and I got married this month and it was exactly what I dreamed of plus more. With all of the stress of wedding planning, Kim made it that the venue was the least of my worries. Every detail was handled and she was so great to work with. Her patience, thoroughness and positive energy was so needed and so appreciated. When selecting a venue for my daughter, we toured MANY a wedding site. The Wind Watch was the PERFECT choice, and now, having completed the wedding, we are sure of it. Kim and her staff are outstanding. Not only was each member of her staff professional, courteous, and attentive, they instinctively knew how to meet the needs of our guests, ranging from 11 mos. to 94!
Each detail was handled with care, artistry, and expertise, and Kim is not only delightful, but a leader as well. We used many of their recommended vendors, and Kim's flawless taste resulted in difficulty choosing, but the florist and bakery were magnificent. I will review them later. We selected out our own band, and Kim worked with our outside vendor as though it was part of her usual cast, with finesse and professionalism. The vista, the service, the venue, the smooth transitions from ceremony to cocktails to party were as orchestrated as a symphony. I highly recommend the Wind Watch, particularly because of Kim and her staff. We had unbelievable weather... and a piece of me just wants to thank Kim for arranging that as well. Best Wishes to anyone searching for a wedding location. May your lives together be as filled with love as my daughters, and may all of your wedding dreams come true. They will at the Wind Watch. If I could give Wind Watch 10 stars in every category I would!! I recently got married there, 9.12.2015 and our guests are still complimenting us on what a great wedding it was! The food, the drinks, the service, all outstanding. Everyone that works at WW is incredibly professional; our maitre'd and bridal attendant were great. Kim, the Private Event Director is AMAZING!! She is the reason why the Wind Watch throws a great wedding (or any event!). From day 1 and every day thereafter she treated us like we were family and advised us on a personal level. Other venus we visited made us feel like we were just another sale, not here! Kim and the entire team at Wind Watch made our wedding day run seamlessly, even with rain moving the ceremony indoors! The day truly was a dream come true! I highly recommend using the Wind Watch for any party!

I can not say enough positive things about the Wind Watch Hamlet Golf and Country Club. I booked my wedding there one month before I relocated out of state. Planning a wedding from ten hours away could have been a nightmare but not with Kim and her staff at the Wind Watch. They were extremely helpful, understanding and supportive. The entire staff showed the utmost professionalism and courtesy at every encounter. On the day of the wedding, the staff worked extremely hard to ensure that our day was perfect. Our bridal attendant, Nicole, and our maitre'd, Miguel, were absolutely amazing!!! They took care of us and our guests as if we were their own families. I could not have asked to have a more perfect experience there.

The Wind Watch Golf and CC was the perfect choice for our wedding. We could not have asked for a more pleasant experience. Kim and her staff are very professional, responsive, and made the planning process a piece of cake. They were so flexible and accommodating with our requests and made sure that we were happy along the way. The day of the wedding was more than we could have hoped for. Our guests raved about the food, the service was top notch, all of our decorations was set up perfectly, I could not have been more relaxed that day. Wind Watch is definitely a hidden gem, it was high-end food and service in a budget that was affordable. If we could do it again, I wouldn't change a thing.

Our Wedding was amazing!!! Kim made everything so easy. From the moment I stepped into the Venue I knew I wanted it. It was breathtaking. I wanted my wedding to be classy and elegant. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. I can't say enough about KIM and her staff. They were wonderful and very attentive. I got married there. The setting with the blooming June red roses started off the afternoon and evening setting the stage for a beautiful wedding ceremony. I recommend early June!!! The awesome reception followed. Words can't express how happy we are with Our wedding. We have wonderful priceless memories. Thank you Kim and Staff !!!"

We looked at 20 different venues, and the Wind Watch had everything we were looking for. It was clean, food was amazing, it was walking distance to the hotel, all the staff was great! Kim the wedding director is very accommodating, sweet, knowledgeable, and always available to talk via phone or email. If you aren't sure about something she will tell you how it can be done or how many different ways it can be done. We were told if we would like any food of our choosing that we don't see, just let them know and they will do it for us, we did want a German Station and it wound up being the biggest at

I absolutely loved working with Kim and the entire staff at the Wind Watch. I was planning my wedding from across the country, and I appreciated how Kim was very accommodating, and responsive to emails throughout the entire planning process. She went above and beyond to make sure that my wedding was the day that I had envisioned.
From the cocktail hour, to the dinner, to the after party, the food was delicious, appetizing, and plentiful. The staff was friendly and attentive to our guests.
It was a pleasure working with the Wind Watch and I highly recommend this venue to everyone!

I had 3 must haves for my wedding search. One wedding at a time, awesome food, and outdoor ceremony area. I fell in love with the Wind Watch the second I stepped in the door. Kim, the banquet manager, made me feel comfortable, and was so helpful every step of the way . She answered my 10000 emails within a few hours of sending them and was there for me no matter what I needed. The food was amazing, the service was on point, and the ceremony area was something I thought I could only dream about. The venue looked amazing, they put everything I brought exactly where I wanted it. The food was unreal, I ordered all 3 things on the menu and everything tasted awesome. All of my guests RAVED about my cocktail hour, they said it was the best food they ever had at a cocktail hour at any wedding they’ve been to. My bridal attendant, Myranda, was with me the whole night, picking up my dress, calming me down, and always there with my lipgloss and refilling my drink keeping me hydrated. The bridal suite was nice and big, giving me plenty of room to get my dress on and get my bridal party ready in.

We also had our after wedding brunch here and the food was amazing. All of my guests loved the special touch and thought it was so nice of us to serve them breakfast before they started their trip home.

The service far exceeded my expectations, and they gave us the wedding of our dreams. Thank you Kim & staff for the best day of my life!!!!!!!

I couldn't have imagined a better location to have our wedding!! First of all, working with Kim in preparation for the wedding always put me at ease. Whenever I felt stressed out or nervous about the little details, she was always very attentive and able to work with all of my requests. It makes a huge difference knowing that you can trust your vendor and that they will take care of the details the day of so that you can really relax and be in the moment. I really appreciated that I felt like she actually cared about us and our wedding, and was not just trying to make a sale.

The space is unbeatable! If you think it looks gorgeous without decorations, it will blow your mind once the space is made up for the actual wedding day. I think one of my favorite parts about the venue is that it has a very intimate feel. Our guests ranted and raved about how beautiful and intimate the wedding was, and I think that's because the venue does a really good job making the event feel personal and unique. The ceremony space is so picturesque and the ballroom looks incredible with the big windows. Our pictures came out great!!! There are so many beautiful areas around the golf course that we were taken to, and it set a great background for our photos.

The food was delicious. I didn't eat much at all, but guests said the cocktail hour was very impressive and that they really enjoyed the food. Kim set up a Korean BBQ station for the cocktail hour especially for us because my husband is Korean, and the guests really liked it! They also pass around mini-desserts after the cake is cut, and that is a big hit!

I think the venue that you choose is the most important decision you make because it frames the entire wedding day. This venue is very affordable, very personal, and very high quality. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a space. My husband and I cannot be happier with how the wedding went, and I'm not just saying that! Its true!

I am so happy we used Wind Watch Golf & Country Club for our wedding! We looked at a lot of other great places, but the day I went to the golf club I was sold. First, it's so close to my house, it was both convenient and beautiful. It also has an incredible view! We got married there as well, and the ceremony space is so gorgeous! It's at the top of the golf course, and it looks out over northern Long Island. Kim, the events director, was fabulous. When I first sat down with her, I didn't feel pushed or like I was being sold a used car. She gave me the facts, showed me the place and the menu, and that was it. For a bride dealing with a lot of people trying to sell me something, it was very refreshing. And throughout the whole planning process she was wonderful. She answered all my questions, was patient with all the questions coming in from different members of my family, and she was so friendly every time I came in to see her. Very professional. And the staff that day was great too. My bridal attendant, Miranda, was always checking in on me to see if I needed anything. And I got so many compliments on the food! The cocktail hour was insane- so many hor d'ourves! And the main courses were amazing! It really is such a beautiful place, and such a great value. I definitely recommend getting married there!

We loved working with Kim, as she assured all plans leading up to our day were well coordinated and perfect in every way. We received great recommendations in terms of collaborating vendors. Going through the Wind Watch has simplified my wedding planning and made it so easy. They took all the stress out of the planning process.

The location is perfect for an outside ceremony and the grand ball room is beautiful with all the new furniture and the wide open windows. Really get to appreciate the beautiful view. The food is excellent and the wait staff are excellent. I truly recommend working with this vendor.

Our May 23, 2014 wedding was absolutely perfect thanks to everyone at The Wind Watch Golf & Country Club! It is a "hidden gem" on Long Island with staff that is just amazing! Kim Hint the Catering Manager is just wonderful! She keeps track of every little detail you want and makes sure that it gets done. She is meticulous and accommodated all of our wants and needs! Erin the Maitre'D was awesome! She made sure everything ran smoothly and that the night was absolutely perfect! Our bridal attendant was excellent! She went above and beyond accommodating us and making sure that we got everything we needed! Aside from how absolutely beautiful the Wind Watch is the FOOD is EXCELLENT!!!! All of our guests have not stopped talking about what a PERFECT wedding it was and how absolutely DELICIOUS all of the food was! They said the food tasted like it came from an a la carte restaurant, not from a kitchen that had to produce food for 160 people! The catering staff was awesome as well, working hard making sure all guests were happy all night!!! I cannot say enough excellent things about the Wind Watch! Beautiful, Accommodating, Amazing and Delicious!!!! We also held our post-wedding brunch there and it was terrific! It's only been 3 weeks since the wedding but family and friends have not stopped raving about how amazing the Wind Watch was!!!

The Wind Watch Golf & Country Club was the perfect venue for my wedding!!! Kim Hint and her team exceeded my expectations!!! She was so wonderful from the moment I walked through the door. Other catering halls I visited did not compare to the beauty of the venue, the service, the food, the price and most importantly the ambiance. She charmed me in a very honest, trustworthy way. I knew by going with Kim and the Wind Watch, everything would be taken care of and my wedding day would be perfect! She was so pleasant, helpful, understanding and so comfortable to speak with. She gave me some very good advice on how to save money on certain things that I would never think of. She gained my trust and loyalty because I truly felt like she was helping me under the stress of planning a wedding. I knew I was in very good hands and felt so relieved to be working with someone like her. I still remember having that sigh of relief sitting at the table with her. When it came closer to my wedding, Kim helped me with things a venue would not normally help out with and I so appreciate her for that! She sat down with me more than twice to make sure my signature drink was perfect since I kept changing my mind. She was right on point responding to my crazy bridezilla emails regarding the pictures on the television, the food, the cake and tons more. Many of my guests informed me after the wedding that this was the best wedding they’ve attended; they mentioned everything from how delicious food was (cocktail hour was out of this world!) to how great the energy was the entire time! The whole experience at Wind Watch was so much more that I could have asked for. I pictured my wedding in my mind and I can honestly say that day was so much better than I imagined it would be. I am so happy I chose the Wind Watch as my reception venue and wish I could live that day over and over again.

We had our rehearsal dinner, post wedding brunch, wedding ceremony and reception all at the Wind Watch making it a wedding weekend and it was the best weekend of our lives. Pricing is very competitive and we were so impressed with the venue and staff we decided to have everything there. It was the right decision. The food was excellent, the Wind Watch is beautiful and I can't say enough great things about the staff. They did recommend vendors for music, photography, etc. many of which we used and all turned out to be excellent. Also, having the Hyatt a short walk away is a great added convenience. In short, it was a perfect weekend and I recommend the Wind Watch to anyone. You won't be disappointed!

I held my wedding there in November, the outside ceremony area is beautiful, but we were worried about the weather, thankfully it held out long enough for us to get married outside because the ceremony area is beautiful. The place is reasonably priced a great size for large or small weddings and the staff was so nice and attentive. The food was delicious and they took care of every detail. I had the most beautiful wedding and could not imagine a place better to have held it. The grounds are very pretty for pictures as well.

As we celebrated our one year wedding anniversary, we thought back to our beautiful wedding day. Today, just as one year ago, we find the Hamlet Wind Watch to be a perfect wedding venue. We had a magical day at a beautiful venue. All of our guests were more than impressed with the staff, the grounds and the venue. We still have people raving about our wedding, a day we will surely never forget. From the very beginning, Kim Hint was kind, professional and personable. She was a pleasure to work with throughout. Kim and the staff enabled our special day to go off without a hitch. One extra special moment was when Kim and the crew decided to serve hot apple cider on the unexpectedly cold evening of our outdoor ceremony. It was such a pleasant surprise for our guest and for us- another detail we did not have to worry about. We cannot say enough about The Hamlet Wind Watch and it's staff. It is a place that will always hold a special place in our hearts!

Words cannot express how AMAZING Kim and Windwatch was to work with on planning our beautiful wedding!!

1. Venue: amazing views, spacious, and just large enough for everyone to be able to sit down during cocktail hour and really enjoy themselves. The space looked MAGICAL with all the candles. MAGICAL!!! The high ceilings were awesome, the floor to ceiling windows brought in SO MUCH LIGHT, it was BEAUTIFUL!!!!

2. Food: delicious!!! Guests have NOT stopped talking about how amazing our food was! My husband didn't eat the night of our wedding, but I sure did!! They also worked with me and specially made me a station I requested (Korean tacos) for the cocktail hour! The mini grilled cheeses are a must have on the passed selection!

3. Staff: Kim is of course, AMAZING. She's detail oriented, she's one of the best people I've EVER WORKED WITH. She's AH-MAZING!!!!! I've worked in catering for years, and I've honestly never worked with someone as competent or as NICE and SWEET as Kim. I was talking with my husband about our wedding, and we never knew our maitre d's name - we never needed to go to her about anything as EVERYTHING was taken cared of for us! My guests also complimented me on how efficient and AMAZING the staff was!!! They provided extra cake to a table who wanted to taste the other flavor of the layers we had. :) Amazing.

If you're wondering if you should book this venue, please wonder no more. This was the best decision I made (of course, other than deciding to marry my husband!)!

My husband and I were married at the Wind Watch on September 14, 2013. Right from the first time we walked into this venue we were impressed. We were looking for a venue with an outdoor ceremony area and indoor reception and this venue met those request. It was a beautiful fall day for our outdoor ceremony and it couldn't have been more beautiful. The scenery was amazing and the space is really everything we wanted. After the ceremony we did an indoor/outdoor cocktail hour. They had every food imaginable and everything was delicious. The service was impeccable and I know everyone ate their full during cocktail hour. Next we moved into the reception and everything was perfect. We worked from Kim from the very beginning and she really walked us through every step and made everything perfect for us. She was responsive and attentive and definitely was key in making our day run so smoothly. She was flexible and really helped make our experience at Wind Watch that much better. The day of the wedding my bridal attendant, Erin, was amazing. At one point I asked her to find me where the mini grill cheese sandwiches were and she was back a minute later with a whole plate!
I really cannot recommend the Wind Watch enough. I think a great way to describe the venue is understated elegance with 5 star service. You will not be disappointed with the Wind Watch go check it out on your venue search!!

I was married here on June 29, 2012 and I cannot begin to explain how perfect my wedding was. The staff at the Windwatch were so attentive and professional. The food was spectacular. The grounds for the ceremony was just breathtaking. I couldn't have asked for a better day (except it was 95 degrees that day but that's my fault for picking a late June wedding). All my guests seemed just as pleased as I was and I was told my several people it was the best wedding they have been to in a long time. I will be recommending the Windwatch to all brides and grooms I come across from now on.

I can't say enough great things about Hamlet Wind Watch Golf Course and Country Club. Not only is it beautiful both inside and out but the food was fabulous! Every detail was perfectly attended to. Planning my daughter's reception with Kim from Wind Watch was by far the easiest part of all of our wedding planning. She is amazing and made the whole process seem easy. The wedding took place only 5 days after super storm Sandy. With so many people out of power, including Wind Watch, we thought her dream day would have to be rescheduled. But Kim came through for us and found another location that was ready for us in case Wind Watch didn't get their power back in time. Fortunately, they got their power in just enough time for everything to take place as originally planned, but we really appreciated all that Kim did to make sure that their was a back up plan if we needed it. Our guests are still telling us that it was the most spectacular wedding they had ever been to. We looked at a lot of reception sites before choosing Wind Watch. Wind Watch is just as elegant as the other big name places on the Island but their price is much more reasonable. The view during the reception was jaw dropping gorgeous!! The ballroom has floor to ceiling, wall to wall windows that look out on the gorgeous panoramic view of trees, trees, and more trees. The fall colors were beautiful and when the sun set it took our breathe away. Our guests flocked to the windows while the photographer, bride and groom ran out for more glorious pictures. It looked more like a Vermont sunset than Long Island. If possible, I highly recommend scheduling your gathering so that your guests can enjoy that sunset view. The food was so unbelievably delicious, so many guests have told us that it is the best they ever had. All of the staff were wonderful and made the day perfect. Our guests were saying, "Hurricane?...What Hurricane?!" You want a perfect wedding at a reasonable price...go see Kim!

My husband and I fell in love with this place at first sight, the views are absolutely breath taking.

Our wedding day was absolutly perfect, the food and service was outstanding. Kim Hint and her assitance Melissa went about and beyond to make our wedding day perfect. My only wish is that I did not get to try all of the delicous food at our cocktail hour, but we recived positive feedback from all of our guests.

The most common comment from our guests was the cake, The Hamlet gives wedding cake and we chose the ice cream cake, which was a hugh hit. Some much is included, where with other venues you have to buy up to add what The Hamlet already includes in their price, this is the best value around.

Our wedding day was PERFECT! The team at the Windwatch was incredible, very flexible, thorough with details, and held a high standard of perfection!

Kim, our contact at the Windwatch, was amazing from the first day we met! She was so patient with all of our questions, very knowledgeable, willing to accommodate us any way she could (including our guests with food allergies), and very quick to respond when we had questions. She is very professional, takes great notes on everything you speak about so that she makes sure everything turns out just right, and made our wedding day FLAWLESS!!!

The grounds are beautiful for Photos and our Bridal Attendant Erin took us safely on a golf cart for photos on the green! She was wonderful and took great care of us. Our Matter D’ Frank was brilliant. He made sure everything set to our liking and made sure the guests were happy the ENTIRE night! The food and menu selection was WONDERFUL!! Everyone was commenting on how good the food was! The rest of the staff provided wonderful service to our guests! We really could not have asked for more! We chose the Hamlet Wind Watch because a friend had their wedding here several years ago. Its was a great decision. They recently added a beautiful outside area to have your ceremony, we were actually the first! The quality of service was perfect. The entire staff was super nice, helpful and professional. Kim made everything so easy, and stress free. The food was as good as your favorite high end restaurant, and the portions were huge. The bartenders were were so good, they had your drink ready before you even got to the bar. All of our guests commented to us how unbelievable the place, staff and food was. We can't recommend the Hamlet Wind Watch enough.

The Hamlet Windwatch was the perfect venue for our wedding. Kim worked with us on personalizing every detail and was extremely helpful throughout the process. The staff at the Hamlet catered to all of our needs on our big day so that we did not worry about a thing. The food was delicious, our guests had only positive feedback about the entire affair. I would get married again here in a heartbeat!

Kim and the entire staff at Wind Watch were amazing. From the moment we started planning our wedding until the party ended, the service was top shelf all the way. The venue, food and people are great and we could not have asked for a better wedding!!!! Highly recommend Wind Watch for any event.

We couldn't have asked for anything more! The team at the Windwatch is wonderful, attentive, very flexible, and will do everything they can to make sure that your wedding day is perfect!

Kim, our contact at the Windwatch, was amazing from the first day we met! She was so patient with all of our questions, very knowledgeable, willing to accomodate us any way she could (including our guests with food allergies), very quick to respond when we had questions,and willing to work with all of our ideas for how we wanted everything to be. She is very professional, takes great notes on everything you speak about so that she makes sure everything turns out just right, and just an easy to get along with person.

The grounds are beautiful for picture taking and they let you take a golf cart out on the green for pictures! The food and menu selection is WONDERFUL!! Everyone was commenting on how good the food was, especially all of the stations during coctail hour! The staff is cosntantly checking to make sure everything is the way you want it to be and they provide wonderful service to your guests! We really could not have asked for more! We highly recommend the Hamlet and Kim!!! =) Thanks for everything!

Kim has been an absolute pleasure to work with thus far. We're having our wedding offseason to save money, so we were able to schedule it for the middle of the afternoon as opposed to late morning/early evening. We did our tasting about a month ago (normally she likes to do the tasting before booking, but we're planning from out of town and we wanted to secure the date) and the food was overall quite good, as was the presentation. The reception room itself is beautiful. Kim is incredibly knowledgeable and willing to go over everything with us throughout the process. Planning from a distance hasn't been a problem, she responds quickly to every email!

POST-WEDDING UPDATE: The wedding was amazing. Kim and her team did an outstanding job and were incredibly focused on making sure that everything went exactly right. Kim seemed more stressed the day of than either me or my husband. The maitre'd and attendant were very helpful and attentive, the room was beautiful, and the food was delicious. Absolutely no regrets about having our special day here.

Just had our wedding at the Windwatch. I can not say enough good things about this venue! Kim was beyond help responding to my emails ( just about instantly), helping me coordinate all my requests, and making sure our day was perfect! Our ceremony was beautiful just the way I had dreamed it would have been. The room was beautiful. Everyone thought the food was fabulous. The only negative feed back I received from guest was that they closed the bar at the end of cocktail hour and did not open the bar back up until dinner orders were take. Other than that I have not received any negative feedback! Very happy with our decision to book at the Windwatch!!! Kim made my vision and dreams come to life and can not possibly thank her enough for her hard work for our perfect day!

We worked with Kim Hint who was outstanding in terms of covering every detail prior to the party as well as making certain everything went as planned during the party. Kim is a true professional and made the planning and party much less stressful and more enjoyable than we anticipated. The Hamlet is a great venue and our guests all commented on the excellent food and service. The outside ceremeony was absolutley beautiful on a lovely spring afternoon.

I have nothing but positive things to say about my wedding experience at the Hamlet Wind Watch Golf and Country Club. Kim, the catering manager, was extremely helpful and responsive. She ensured that my every request was met the day of the wedding. Our guests also raved about the food from the cocktail hour to the dessert. I would definitely recommend the Hamlet Wind Watch to any bride!

I had never heard of the wind watch. My brother and I attended a bridal showcase and fell in love wih the space, the food and Kim the event coordinator . About 3 months before my wedding I received an email that Kim retired. We were very nervous as Kim was one of the reasons we felt so comfortable going with a place we knew nothing about . Eleanor stepped in and met with me and easies my fears. I was super confident going into the day of my wedding .

The day of the weddding our bridal party had to arrive early due to our transportation vendor. I was disappointed at the attentiveness to us . We were drinking beverages from our cooler that we had on the bus. When my father in law arrived before ya he mentioned that the ball room was very warm and they needed to crank up the ac . Then my brother had to ask if they could do something because everyone was very unconfortabke and met with an attitude which I was not happy about . Our cocktail hour was very very warm all the doors were open and our guests were very uncomfortable and commenting on how hot the room was . It was the first hot day however I feel as a venue you should take the proper actiona to have made sure that room was cool for the event . The bridal attendant was non exsistent . Other than being outside for pictures for a very brief time that was the extent to seeing her . My husband asked if we could get food but in the bridal suite cause we knew we had a lot of greeting to do . Our bridal attendant had to be instructed to bring food to the bridal suite . The entire night our guests and ourselves were refilling our drinks and it was embarrassing that they noticed the lack of service on the bridal attendants part. When booking our wedding , Kim mentioned since our guest were arriving early there would be champagne upon arrival till cocktail hour started . Other than the AC and the Bridal attendant We were happy . The food and place were great!
