Willow Creek Barn & Glass Chapel Reviews

We just had our wedding at Willow Creek - June 20. & we are beyond glad we chose them for our venue. The venue and surrounding areas are beautiful! Our guests couldn't stop raving about the place. It it the perfect rustic venue ever. The nature surrounding it feels natural and not forced! Shane & Maritza are the best! Given the fact that we were wedding planning during Covid...they were super understanding and helped us make a alot of decisions and gave us advice and understood when I emailed 20 times in one week because my guest count kept changing. 🤣 We can honestly say that we had the best wedding, everything was perfect and as promised. If you are looking for a rustic wedding venue THIS IS IT. I can't wait to get our pictures!!!!! Thank you Shane & Maritza!!! ❤❤

Beautiful place! One of a kind and the owners are amazing!

I highly recommission willow creek! She was very helpful, responded to every question I had with patience and quickly! The venue was very clean and set up exactly how I wanted it! Even though it was cloudy, this venue still looked gorgeous! They were also very helpful with clean up and set up on the day!

Perfection! We loved working with willow creek from day one. They were accommodating in every way. Their help and attention to detail is amazing. The venue is beautiful!!! The glass chapel takes away my breath every time. absolutely fabulous day for us. I would highly recommend

Willow creek was great! The chapel was beautiful, as was the barn and grounds in general. We got an amazing deal with the open bar! The owners are beyond nice and willing to work with you. Our wedding turned out beautifully!

We hadn’t let anyone visit the venue leading up to the wedding so everyone was truly surprised when they arrived and got over the rolling hills to the Chapel. Everyone was amazed and couldn’t stop talking about how great the venue was. Willow Creek was very helpful during the process of booking and their staff was amazing the day of. Worth the 40 minute drive out of Omaha! Definitely take advantage of their open houses they have throughout the year.

I read the not so nice reviews and asked about them. The owner was very open to what caused them. I do not have any negative things to say about them. The owners love this space and are so proud of it. They let me come a couple of times to measure and show my wedding planner. We got married on a week day and they had great price breaks. I would choose this venue again 100%! Now if they could've made the rain go away.... :)

What can I say. The only reason I gave them .5/5.0 is because this is the lowest rating to give them. What a joke!

First off, they are not accommodating when it comes to decorating. They wouldn't even turn the water on to fill up the vases as center pieces on the tables. My question is why would the water be turned off in the first place. The biggest issue we had is the sound in the Chapel was/is broken. People in the front row couldn't here the ceremony so I can only imagine the people in the rear. The owner stated he was aware of it being broken but made no attempt to fix. We didn't find out until the rehearsal.

The place is absolutely filthy! We realize it is in the country. We live in the country. But, I buy bug spray so I don't have bugs, mainly spiders, in my buildings! So the excuse of, "It is in the country" is a load of crap!

The reception hall could be nice. It is a large pole barn. The floors are un-even and would not pass a building inspection!! We were concerned with the elderly guests tripping and falling. When I say un-even, that is an understatement! I don't know the dimensions of the building but there are 4 window air conditioners to cool. That is like throwing a glass of water at a forest fire.

I would TOTALLY stay away from this place. They want all there money up front and do NOTHING to address issues that arise. Especially issues that are their fault!

Don't waste your time and money here, you'll regret it! We didn't even end up having our wedding here, it was so bad we were willing to eat our deposit!

This was the most horrible decision of our life. We spent so much money and were unhappy at the end. This place is not professional. They don't respond back in a timely manner and are not flexible at all. All the problems started after we paid them. It looks like they only care about the money and not the people or the event. August was a hot month and the place's air condition was not working right. We were so hot to the point that no one danced much and we needed early. The owners were very rude the whole day. The place is beautiful but I would not recommend it. No place is worth this much drama specially on your special day.
