The best !!!!

Billy and Vincent did the most amazing job with our photos. The day after our wedding I had the most beautiful preview to look at and they were all so amazing. They make you comfortable during the entire process and are masters at what they do. Thank you !

Phenomenal experience! Exceptional photos!

Phenomenal experience! William was very professional, he will do everything to perfection, his attention to details, his ability to take the best pictures from the best angles, and the way he communicated with everyone was amazing, everyone loved him.
We will always look at our pictures with big smile.
William made me feel like If I was a celebrity, I Actually looked like a celebrity.
There is no words to describe how grateful, happy, satisfied, I was with his services, professionalism and the quality of his pictures! Thank you William.

William was a joy to work with, and an incredible photographer. He is extremely creative and pays attention to all the little details so that you don't have to. He's very responsive and always available for questions. I strongly recommend that you pick him as your photographer - you won't regret it. Also, if you have issues smiling on command like we do, William and his team will continuously crack you up so that you're smiling the entire photo shoot.

We absolutely loved our wedding pictures! We love going back and looking through them and remembering our wedding day! William was super easy to work with and answered any questions we had. Will is so down to earth and easy to work with . From the engagement shoot to the wedding day Will was constantly in contact and up to the challenge of all my ideas and needs. His photos are stunning and plentiful !! It literally took me 10 months to do my album because I had the hardest time picking out pictures because they were all amazing . Also, Will has the besttttt crew the day of -especially Danielle and Nick. Danielle was not only talented but my bridal sidekick all day helping me with EVERYTHING! I am so glad we chose Will and his team to capture our most memorable day !!

Our Wedding isn't for another month, but we've loved working with William in planning our wedding. When we first met he we instantly knew he was the photographer we wanted to use. We met with other photographers prior, who made appointments feel more business meeting-ish. William was the complete opposite. Meeting him for the first time, was like meeting an old friend you haven't seen in years for coffee. We immediately felt at home and felt so comfortable around him. He provides personalized attention, and takes the time to learn about you as individuals and as a couple, to make sure he can capture your special day the way you want. His portfolio is awesome, and he is able to tell a whimsical story through the creativity and passion he puts into each photo he snaps. I would definitely recommend William if you are looking for a trustworthy, creative, think out-of-the-box photographer who will treat you more like an old family friend than a client.

William came to me as a recommendation from my cousin and after seeing her pictures, I know we had to have him as our photographer. I cannot begin to express how happy we were with William and his team. Not only are our pictures absolutely stunning but he was a true professional from being to end and a pleasure to work with. Being someone who hates taking pictures, my husband was dreading the engagement shoot. William and Ken did an awesome job of making us both feel comfortable. Only a few minutes in and he had us feeling like naturals. On the day of our wedding, he kept us all on schedule and really helped to take the stress out of the day. He captured every moment of the day beautifully. He even entertained my ridiculous bridesmaids with their own drunken photo shoot at the end of the night (those pictures are hysterical). You'd be crazy not to hire him!!

I booked William for my daughter's wedding, and wow, I could not be happier, I know my daughter & her new husband are as well! From the moment he arrived, he was charming & at ease, and worked quickly, never missing a moment. By far the best investment we made in wedding purchases. The preview photos we saw so far are gorgeous and unique, we will anxiously be awaiting the beautiful albums he makes, can't wait!

William & his team were incredible! I work in fashion design and wanted a photographer with an edgy & more artistic style to capture our big day. He did not disappoint. Investing in his services was the best money I spent on the whole wedding. I treasure our photos, they capture so much feeling in such an artsy, creative way. While working he's very at ease, funny & charming, all the bridesmaids & our families loved him. I booked William for my wedding and I can not say enough wonderful things about him! Not only are his pictures amazing, but he is professional and kind. He has a calming affect that made me feel at ease even though I was nervous. What I am most grateful for however is how he was with my son. I have a nine year old son with Autism who is non verbal, and I was very concerned about choosing the right vendors as I did not want anyone who would be too overwhelming for him or be in his face too much. I needed someone who would have patience and William was our man. He took beautiful pictures of my son and did not make him feel overwhelmed at all. He was just amazing! 5+++

From the moment we booked William, we knew we chose the perfect photographer. Everything was perfect, from the engagement shoot to the wedding. When I showed friends and family my engagement photos, everyone raved about them. William has such a creative eye and knows how to make you look your best in every photo! I got married this past weekend and William and his crew did an amazing job with our wedding photos. Nothing was forgotten and the guests and bridal party loved them! I appreciated William's willingness to recreate Pinterest photos I found online and I can't wait to see them! The morning after our wedding, we woke up to some preview/teaser pics and they are amazing! William and his crew are also very professional and hard working and I would wholeheartedly recommend them for your wedding! My husband and I used William and his crew for our afternoon wedding and we couldn't have picked a better photographer to work with. He made us feel so comfortable and had A LOT of patience! William was amazing to work with! A friend of mine told me to check out his website and I immediately fell in love with his pictures. They were beautiful, romantic, natural, dramatic and edgy. Everything we wanted our pictures to be. I am a pretty laid back person and I'm a little shy so the idea of taking pictures was a little weird to me, but William is so calm and easy to work with that I didn't even think about it. During our engagement session he made us feel so comfortable and we had so much fun taking them. From working with him it is clear to see that he has a real passion for what he does. He has unique ideas and does whatever it takes to get the best shot. During the wedding he and his team were photography ninjas, I don't know how they got half the shots they did. My pictures are beautiful and we got them back super quick. We got the digital gallery within a week and our prints the next month. I want to get married again just to have him take my pictures. My only regret is that we didn't take a picture with him on the day of the wedding :/. I could go on but I think you get the point. If anyone has any questions I'd be more than happy to answer them.

My wife and I eloped from London to New York last November. We had a very personal ceremony and we were lucky enough to have William as our photographer.

First of all, he's one of the friendliest people I've ever met, and it was an absolute pleasure to spend our wedding day with him. What's more, his photos are a true work of art.

My wife and I finally got around to celebrating the occasion with friends and family in London recently. William's photos looped on a screen while we ate dinner and the number of compliments they received were countless. One of our friends told us that she found watching William's photos of our wedding a genuinely more personal experience than other weddings that she'd actually attended.

We'll look at his stunning pictures for the rest of our lives and with big smiles on our faces. They hold a very special place in our hearts.

Myself and my fiance flew from UK to NY to wed in Central Park. It was just the 2 of us, so it was important we got a good photographer so we could share our memories with our family and friends. I found William online and he had great reviews and his portfolio was stunning, so we hired him. It was the best decision we could have made. He had great communication, answering any questions via email promptly. On the day, he arrived early and immediately made us feel relaxed and we knew we was in good hands. We spent the whole day with William and his team and got the most stunning pictures from various locations in NY. Not just a creative and hard-working photographer, perhaps even more important, he's a really nice, helpful guy who is dedicated to letting you enjoy your day and capturing it in the most beautiful way possible. Special mention to his assistants who were also amazingly helpful. I really cant recommend him highly enough. 5*

William is nothing but a true professional photographer. He has the photographer's eye and was able to capture moments and imagery we didn't think possible without the use of filters and photoshop. William has a stellar team behind him as well, which helped to capture all the other non-staged moments. Overall, William listened to what we wanted and then delivered... and then he went farther and astounded us with the quality photos. We used him for an engagement shoot and the wedding. We spent a little more than we budgeted, but it was totally worth it.

I could not be happier with how the photos turned out - and such a quick turnaround time! William and his assistant worked within a very brief time frame to get some beautiful family portraits that we'll always cherish for our March NYC wedding. The photos of the bride (me) and the groom were romantic -- he played with light, mirror reflections and interesting camera angles to create some very beautiful photos that just captured the love between us so well. William was flexible and worked within my tight budget, and he even found a videographer for me and did it all in one contract, which made everything much easier for me. No question I made the right choice!

My partner and I both thought that William was fantastic! He met us beforehand to get to know us. He's very personable. Made us feel very comfortable. We got ready in two different parts of the city and William came and met each of us to get pictures as we each got ready with our friends and family. We got married in a very small ceremony and party (25 people total) - he and his assistant somehow blended so well in the church and party that I barely remember seeing them, and yet we have amazing pictures from the weekend. I could not give a more glowing recommendation.

I planned to propose to my girlfriend during our trip to NYC(we're from California). I wanted to surprise her with an engagement shoot the day after I proposed. William Mason Photography was recommended by a coworkers cousin. Bill was very easy to communicate with and open to answering any questions I had. The day of the shoot went perfectly. He took us to different spots in Central Park so it was a photo shoot and tour in one. He made us feel very comfortable and we enjoyed spending the afternoon with him.shooting with him and his assistant Chris was the highlight of our trip. Bill is very talented and we were very impressed on the beauty of his images. He did an amazing job capturing our relationship in an artistic way. We will cherish these photographs always.

William Mason and his team pay close attention to every detail and take the most incredible photos. We were married in Manhattan on a cold windy, but sunny winter day. William and his team worked very hard to make our day perfect. William creates everlasting wedding memories with his excellent vision and laser focus. He pays fine attention to every detail that goes into making your wedding day superb. He is an true artist and a great thinker and that's what makes his photos timeless. My now-wife and I eloped to New York and wanted a series of photos of the two of us around the city on our wedding day. We found William online and took a gamble on him. It was the best decision we could have made.
Not only was he charming and professional (as was his assistant Chris) but he was also a fantastic tour guide of the city, with a knowledge of countless photogenic spots. Most importantly, the pictures he's produced are nothing short of incredible. My wife and I so grateful to William and Chris for capturing our special day so beautifully. I can't recommend these guys highly enough.

Of all the things that I am happy about regarding my wedding event, I am most happy to have found Billy and his team. They were enthusiastically recommended by people who had used him, and it didn't take long to understand why.

I had been overwhelmed at the thought of photography. To me, it was the only tangible thing we had to remember that day--and the photographers I had met were charging a LOT of money for really sub-par work. Once I saw Billy's work through friends, I was afraid to even call. His stuff was SO great, I felt like it had to be too expensive for me. I was, happily, wrong. His rates were so reasonable that I couldn't believe it. It was the first time I realized that I could afford to have beautiful photography done that day. It was such an amazing relief.

Billy and his team were a total crowd-pleaser on the day of the event. They were easy to work with, fun, and really creative with the way they shot everything. More than one of my guests commented that they wished Billy had photographed their weddings (even the ones that happened decades ago) and since then I have passed on his information countless times.

I can't recommend William Mason photography enough.

I can't begin to explain how amazing of an experience it was to work with William O'Connor (Billy), Chris, and Steve. From our first meeting to our many emails, phone calls, emails, and texts, from our engagement photo shoot to our continued communication, and then finally our big day... Billy was amazing. So responsive to questions, concerns, requests, etc! Everyone in our families and wedding party (and there were a lot of them) commented on how fun and fast and great Billy and his team were. Doing the engagement photo shoot was a great way to get to work together before the big day and left us SO at ease. We went into our wedding day feeling extremely confident that we would have AMAZING pictures... and we did, of course! We can't wait to work with him again in the future!

Billy has photographed my wedding, and several other special events. He has the ability to capture every detail, big and small, and does so with such professionalism and ease. William was a great photographer. First and foremost, the photos look great. The first finished shots were up on a web album the day after the wedding and William's been steadily adding shots every day. William himself is easy to work with and a great combination of fun + unobtrusive when he's shooting. He knows how to keep everything moving and enjoyable for posed shots and how to get candid shots without interrupting things. Plus, he knows how to a tie a bow tie, an excellent secondary skill in a wedding photographer. Definitely recommended.

Great photographer but did not fulfill his obligations

William delivered beautiful wedding photos for us, but he has not provided the wedding albums we paid for. He seem to have disappeared. We of course already paid in full. He has a great eye, and we had a good experience on the wedding day, but I have been asking for the albums for a year now. He has not responded to email, text, or IM message. It is sad that this will be my lasting memory of working with him.

Horrendous...had to file legal action

We were researching photographers when we were referred to William Mason Photography through a videographer we were considering. Given this was Feb ’19 and we were planning our wedding for Memorial Day Weekend just a few months away, when we connected with William and found out he was free, initially we thought we had lucked out. He was booked the day before and after. His reviews were great and his website pictures looked beautiful so after we spoke on the phone, we quickly set a time to meet in person and booked him soon thereafter. Little did we know what we were going to endure in the months that followed.
A quick tidbit before getting into details of his incredibly painful unprofessionalism…after we hired WMP for our wedding, my MOH decided to hire him for my bridal shower in March ‘19. His assistant Nick shot the day and the pictures we received were pretty nice. We didn’t think twice about it when we didn’t receive the contractually promised USB of all the pictures after the event since we received a link (and we were neck deep planning our May ’19 wedding). Also, it was moving into prime wedding season so we figured they were slammed and had no problem getting the bridal shower USB at a later date.

As the wedding day grew closer, my now husband and I were very prudent about making sure we filled out the WMP questionnaire of requested photos and communicated with William via calls and texts to make sure we knew what to expect the day of our wedding. We received reassurances that William would bring his assistant Nick and stay from the morning until the end of the wedding reception. William even told me I was the most "organized bride" with the questions I was asking. For example, I asked if we were to introduce them to our family members at the beginning of the reception so they knew who to associate with our requested pictures. He said, "No, you are to enjoy your day and it's his and Nick's responsibility to find out who our guests were to get the shots." Also, on his forms, one of our first requests was for us to be in standard table by table pictures. Right around our date, William verbally discouraged these photos because it would disrupt the flow of the party (more on this later). We naively agreed and of course, we assumed he would take table by table pictures...just without us in them. And if not anything else, we expected all of our guest’s faces would be represented at the cocktail hour and/or the reception in some capacity. NEVER listen to this type of terrible advice. Now I understand why at every wedding that I've ever attended does table by table photos religiously.

As our beautiful day turned into our reception night outdoors under the Queensborough bridge overlooking Manhattan, we were blessed with perfect weather for gorgeous evening pictures with the city all lit up. We didn’t notice it at the time but as the sun went down, William and Nick were seemingly nowhere to be found. It was hard to realize it at the time since we had multiple friends with professional cameras and there were cell phone flashes galore. It wasn’t until there was still close to 2 hours left of the party and William came over and told me they were leaving saying, “We got all of the shots needed and that the pictures are starting to be repeated over and over.” I was in the middle of dancing and was so confused especially realizing how much time was left. I said to him that there was still a lot of party left and plus, my parents hadn’t even had their dance yet. He was clearly a bit annoyed and ready to go but said “Okay.” This was the first time on our wedding day I had to reference a pre-planned agreement with any vendor. Needless to say, that was the last we saw of William and Nick that evening.
Overall, our wedding day was absolutely magical at the Ravel Hotel. The aftermath with WMP, not so much…

In sum, we were promised 700x highlighted pictures and all of those would be delivered as physical 4x6 prints, an online gallery hosted on WMP’s website, retouching/editing of chosen pictures and a USB of approximately 3000x total pictures. These were all to be delivered between 3 weeks and 6 weeks post wedding. Our wedding was May 25th, 2019 and the following has happened since:

• Majority of pictures provided by WMP were from early in the day with the wedding party rather than at the cocktail hour and reception with family and friends. Very few evening pictures were taken and not one with the NYC skyline clearly behind us (a few blurry unusable ones were taken)
• 90% of pictures we requested on the WMP questionnaire were non-existent. Most missing were invaluable family photos which were the most important to us
• MANY absent faces. Our wedding had 100ppl and 10x tables (no table pictures taken with or without us). It was the same few guests taken over and over on only one side of the room
• When William sent a link to the 700x digital photos which lacked a majority of requested family photos and almost zero evening photos, we were worried but still hopeful they existed somewhere. We voiced our concern to William and asked if Nick had more pictures. He said there were no more and sent us a link to the remnant photos which did not contain the photos promised and the blurry evening photos. When we reviewed all of them one by one and asked William why so many requested photos weren’t taken, he said, “Well you didn’t want table photos,” (although, as mentioned, they were requested on the WMP questionnaire and were discouraged by him) and “Well, I did my best.” We were floored by how curt he was. He was done with us. What were we going to do…we already paid in full and couldn’t reverse time Rather than argue, we asked that he send the USB, 4x6 prints etc
• Next came the fiasco of collecting said contractually agreed upon items. We would text William and he would respond promising to have them delivered the following week. He repeatedly said he would be sending a tracking number for the USBs (of the wedding AND my bridal shower from March) along with the 4x6 prints. We followed up weekly for months and got the same response until we stopped getting responses altogether
• We found his assistant, Nick on Instagram and DM’d him due to a lack of communication from William. It was that same day (Sept 20th, 2019) William finally called us to tell us he was in a car accident the week before and that he had brain trauma and would probably not remember the phone call we were currently on??? He said he hired another assistant to help him deliver pictures to clients because of his injuries. Right after the call, he then texted us a picture of his face and what looked to be a doctored deep head gash. This is the last call/text we ever received from William
• After countless attempts to reach William, we tried one last time in mid-Oct ‘19 to rectify the situation with his assistant Nick but he claimed no responsibility for services not rendered since he was freelancing
• We begrudgingly finally took legal action in late ’19

On a funny note, after we filed the complaint, The People’s Court show actually contacted us to see if we would consider being on the show (they have access to public records).

On a thankful note, we are grateful for our friends and family who took a good amount of pictures so we can piece together our wedding album (it’s just going to a long and unnecessarily arduous process). And, once we received the remnant photos from William, we downloaded them all immediately to a hard drive. Had we not done this and waited for the USB, we wouldn’t have any of WMP pictures at all as our website gallery on his site no longer exists.

On a final note, we recently found out that he has wronged multiple people since our wedding (not showing up for one wedding altogether according to Yelp); stopped paying his business rent; his website link is down; and he has up and disappeared.

Hope this lengthy play by play is helpful so no matter what photographer you choose, be EXTRA careful and make sure you have a back-up plan in place!
