Creative and professional!

William is amazing. We hired him as a recommended vendor from our venue and are so glad we did! He not only has a great eye for photography, but also the people skills needed to rein our partially rowdy wedding party in long enough to all make it into a picture at the same time. 🙃 William helped position all of us and gave great tips for being photographed so that the end results appeared more natural rather than stiff or forced. He was able to capture all of the important moments, and we were very impressed with how quickly we received our photos.

Incredible Photographer!

William was the ABSOLUTE BEST! We interviewed many photographers and he was the only one that was professional from the first interaction all the way through delivery of our photos. He was a joy to work with and we are IN LOVE with our photos. It was a pleasure to work with him and we HIGHLY recommend him.

Photographer of your dreams!

When it comes to planning your wedding you are overcome with choices to make and are overwhelmed with all the advice from family and friends. All I can say is my Husband and I are so thankful we listened to our coordinator’s advice about hiring William and his very talented team. William was such a pleasure to work with! He was very professional and when discussing the wedding date and venue he mentioned he had never seen our venue before but heard amazing things and wanted to check it out before hand so he offered to do and engagement session so he can check out what the venue had to offer. The engagement photos came back promptly and turned out better than anticipated. When it came to the day of the wedding William and his team were on time and was dressed to impress and they all were an absolute pleasure to work with. They made us feel very comfortable, You can tell that William and his team takes pride in what
they do. They go the extra mile to get that perfect shot in. We were absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos. When receiving the photos back, William puts them in a very professional box with a beautiful glass hard drive. He also picks out some of his favorites and prints them for you so you have some photos on hand right away. Our only dilemma is choosing all the photos for the wedding album he offers. There are to many good ones to choose from. Thank you again William and team for capturing all the love on our special day

Could not be happier about having William as our photographer at our wedding! From the initial contact to the final wrap up correspondence post wedding, William was prompt and professional. He was extremely accommodating with scheduling the engagement shoot since we were planning from the East Coast and flying to CA sparingly for wedding planning. He was fun to work with and instantly made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. On the wedding day, he had the perfect commanding presence to allow us to get all the shots we wanted and to keep things moving. His work is definitely high quality. We are absolutely thrilled with the final wedding pictures and we have gotten so many compliments from family and friends! Do not hesitate to book.

William shot our wedding in Utah and was great to work with. He flew out for no extra charge and brought a second shooter, Eric, with him. We really put them to the test as we actually had a DOUBLE WEDDING and they had to do twice the work. They handled two couples and bridal parties like the professionals they are. We got great shots of getting ready, the wedding, venue and our doggy ring bearer. William got all of our shots back to us incredibly fast. These photos will be cherished for a lifetime and we are so pleased to have worked with William!

William is fantastic at what he does, plain and simple. It feels like a friend by the time we meet until our wedding day. His price is reasonable compared to other photographer! He even flew with us in Venice, Italy for our engagement photoshoot with no additional cost! It was a truly a wonderful and memorable in Venice one could ever wish for! We are absolutely IN LOVE with our wedding photos!!! We received them so quickly after the wedding and each photo is more stunning than the next. William is an absolute professional and a true artist. I was extremely picky when choosing a photographer because I had a very specific vision of how I wanted our wedding to look and feel. I immediately fell in love with William's work and knew it was the perfect fit. He was a pleasure to work with and was super accommodating for all of our requests. He was a hit with our large wedding party and even larger family. If I could rate William 10 stars I would, cannot praise him enough!

From talking on the phone all the way to receiving our printed photos (in beautiful packaging), William was a total joy! He's so fun and relaxed, while also knowing exactly what he's doing, that we now have hundreds of favorites! He knew the right spots, the right "poses", and we just had to relax and hang out while he captured everything perfectly.

My husband and I loved working with William. He was by far one of our favorite vendors at our wedding. We planned our wedding in 6 months and he was able to squeeze in an engagement session for us in his busy schedule. Though in our contract we had agreed for a set number of hours, William offered to give us an additional hour for transportation from our getting ready site to the venue and also stayed later than he had to. His photographs are amazing, he always delivers his photos on time and every time we received a package in the mail from him we were impressed with the packaging. He is worth every penny! We will continue to keep recommending him to our family and friends.

Danny and I could not be happier using William Innes Photography! First of all, William's work is INCREDIBLE. From our engagement photos to just receiving our wedding photos, everything turned out beautifully!! William is the BEST! He got all the shots I wanted and helped us with all our needs and what we wanted to have.
He is outgoing and we loved how open and honest he was with us about certain shots. We got 2 engagement shoots we wanted and wedding photos and extras that we wanted. He gave us 210% all the time! And he was very prompt with responses and questions we had! He does great work and couldn't be happier with how our how wedding process and planning turned out. After picking William as our photographer, I had no more worries and stress. Pictures were taken care of and I was at ease knowing I got what I wanted.

There are many reasons why William and his team were so remarkable. Here are just a few:

William was professional yet friendly and warm. He was prepared with state of the art technology. Every way he communicated with us before the wedding was streamlined and stylish. William went out of his way to make a connection with us as clients before the wedding so that on the day of we were comfortable and excited to work with him. William and his team worked long and hard to get every shot we asked for. They were organized and timely and worked smoothly with all other vendors. The photographs were delivered ahead of schedule and were even more beautiful than I could have imagined.

The photos we ended up with are the perfect way for us to remember every beautiful moment of our day. He included all the beautiful traditional photos as well as some unique images. I can see the care and thought that goes into each composition and edit of each beautiful photograph making it into a work of art. William operates an A+ business and is a true artist. His love for what he does really comes through in his work.

They say the photography is not where you want to skimp on your wedding budget and William is worth every penny. I would recommend William to my nearest and dearest.

Heather and I couldn't have been happier with William. From the day we did a trail run we new he was the one for our special day. William always gave us great ideas and Heather and I charmed in as well too telling him our thoughts and ideas. He and us bonded super well. He takes your ideas, listens to what you have to say, doesn't take them for granted and runs with it! Makes it so above and beyond what you were visioning into something glorious. First of all, I would hands down, without a doubt recommend William Innes to photograph your wedding. He truly went above and beyond with everything, from the planning stages to receiving our photos. From the moment we met William, we felt comfortable. Photos were definitely one of the most important things to us, but also the most nerve-wracking. William completely let us relax, and produced photos of our dreams.

on the morning of the wedding, we were having some issues contacting our coordinator and the stress was high. William called, and could tell I was freaking out. He told me to just breathe and he would see me soon. As soon as he walked in, we were ALL relieved. From that moment on, the stress and anxiety was gone. I am so thankful for him, he truly kept us at ease the entire day.

Aside from his professionalism and keeping us cool, the photos were the stuff of dreams. I never thought my husband and I would have photos of this caliber- William is truly a magician! Our prints arrived and wow, we were blown away! He and his team are worth their weight in gold, and then some!

One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring William to be our photographer. William and his assistant, Debra, were very professional, organized and kept us on schedule. William is genuine and has a wonderful sense of humor. He made us feel incredibly comfortable which is key since he shot such intimate photos with our first look. My husband and I couldn't possibly be happier with our beautiful wedding photos. The first time I saw them I had a hard time keeping it together.

I'm not surprised to read some of the wonderful things others had to say about him in his other reviews. He deserves all the hype, trust me. We will be hiring him again in the future.

My wife and I had something pretty specific in mind when we were looking for our wedding photographer, and when we first saw William Innes' photos, we knew we had found it. Unlike so many point and shoot wedding photographers, William is a true artist whose photos captured the personalities and emotion of our big day. He's also a true professional and was unflustered throughout; even when our other vendors messed up our schedule, he made sure we didn't miss out on any of the photos he knew we wanted. He even had our beautiful photos ready before we got back from our honeymoon!

If I could give William more stars I would! He did SO much for our wedding beyond producing beautiful images on our special day.

He has been humorous, flexible, patient, and efficient since Day 1 when my mother and I met him to see if he would be a good fit for our September wedding in Pacific Palisades. He impressed us so much (and my mom is quite difficult to impress) with his cultural knowledge, easygoing personality, and stunning photo portfolio! Needless to say, we booked him with high hopes for WIP and his team!

I remember feeling extremely nervous for my engagement shoot due to camera shyness, but William helped my fiance and I feel right at ease, and it turned out to be a fun-filled day taking photos in both nature and city settings. Our images were absolutely amazing, and this made me even more excited for our wedding day!

Weddings are pure chaos (unbeknownst to me prior to the big day!) and I had no idea that our timeline would be extremely difficult to follow due to so many players and moving parts. William held down the fort, keeping everyone focused on our timeline and making sure things ran smoothly. This was definitely NOT within his job description, but he is the type of person who is a born leader and takes charge to make sure the bride and groom's day is nothing less than phenomenal. Our entire bridal party loved his humor, and I really appreciated his every effort to make sure we got all of our photos on the "Must Have Wedding Shots" list.

I can't wait to see our photos in a few short weeks--I know they will be killer! I can't say enough thanks to William and his admirable team :)

I have had the pleasure of working along side of William while doing Wedding Videography for a few years. When it came time for my wedding, I had no one else in mind but him. The service was FANTASTIC. Both my parents and my bride's parents loved William and his second photographer for the day. The final photos were visually beautiful and perfectly captured the feeling of our whole wedding. Not only is William and his team warm and kind, but their professionalism stands out as well. If you're looking for an excellent photographer, look no further because William is your man!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND him. I have known William for years and ever since I got engaged over three years ago, I had no second thoughts that he would be my photographer. William is exceptional more than any other photographer because he captures the essence of the couple he is taking photos for. I have been to many weddings that he has photographed and every time I see the images, I see the personalities, love stories, and depth of each couple individually. What other photographer do you know who can do that?

Not only does William take incredible photos to last a lifetime, but he also helps coordinate and keep things on track if timing gets tight. He can improvise with the best of them and always keeps in contact with the bride beforehand to make sure he understands the details of the big day. He is meticulous, talented, and absolutely perfect for any wedding!

William Innes... DAMN! He knocked it out of the park! We met with a few photographers that were a little TOO excited about their craft, but lacked the artistic talent. Then, we met William, a down-to-earth conversationalist, skilled not only in the arts of composition, contrast and capturing memorable moments, but also someone that made my wife and I feel comfortable, confident and beautiful. We're unconventional people, and he delivered us images that displayed our quirks in a timeless fashion that we won't look back on and think "what the fuck were we thinking". William promised a second shooter, but came with two additional assistants, and while I'm sure he can alter his style to match anyone's vision, my favorite aspect of his shots is the simplicity. It's not about the bells and whistles, and over stylized Instagram filters... It's about us. It's about capturing our happiness, and he did that, without a doubt. The only downside of this whole arrangement is that he took over 1500 photos and nearly all of them were keepers, so picking the gems to boast about on Facebook has been hard. Kidding.... not really. I told my wife that I didn't want to be the couple with the wedding picture above the fireplace. But, then we got our slick thumb drive and gift box, and William had snapped a shot that I'd be happy seeing every day. No joke, it looks like we're on the cover of GQ. Thank you William! We love you!

My wife and I absolutely loved William and his work when we first saw his website. We had spent a fair amount of time looking at various wedding photographers and a lot of them seem to rely washed out filters and the "Instagram" look. This style might work for outdoor venues but we consider it a fad. We wanted a classic style that would last and William definitely delivered. His photographs came out amazing. He's the real deal.

From our initial contact with William to the delivery of our wedding day photos, everything has been great. He's professional, thoughtful, and in my opinion, very technical.

When we first met with him, all attention was on us. He wasn't distracted, listened to everything we wanted, and customized a package based on our budget. I spoke with various photographers who seemed more concerned about selling you on a package and getting your money than actually speaking to you. William's attention to US was amazing.

He also took the time to help ease our planning stress by just having conversations with us. When our timeline was in flux, he helped shape our special day. He checked in with us to make sure everything was going well and even sent us a card to let us know that he was thinking about us. We were blown away by all of his small but thoughtful gestures.

William used to manage an aerospace company so he's technical and it bleeds into his work. He takes online payment. His online gallery is available for sharing with family for additional prints. He has a web app that's personalized for each couple he photographs. It's available for Android and iOS. He delivered our photos on a USB drive...in a wooden box.

TL;DR - would hire again in a heartbeat. 10/10

From the moment I met William at his studio, I knew he would be the best photographer for us, both professionally and personality wise. He has a great portfolio of albums to view his work, and listens to your preferences and is very accommodating. I felt so comfortable with William, I hired him without my fiancé first meeting him, knowing that he would like him as well. After all, it's the photographer who will be escorting you throughout your entire wedding day.
William worked closely with me, helped finalize my wedding day schedule and also referred me to couple of great vendors. On the wedding day, he and his two assistants were punctual, flexible and also helped guide the entire family to ensure great pictures. The digital photos were delivered to me as promised, and turned out great as expected. I am now looking forward to receiving my photo album. William helped make our day less stressful and helped us enjoy our big day. Thank you William!!

William Innes was our photographer for our Engagement photos as well as Wedding. He is not just extremely professional, but has a great personality which makes everyone more comfortable and makes the whole process more enjoyable. We hired William as our photographer for our wedding which took place at the beautiful Humming Birds Nest Ranch. We were referred to William by our wedding coordinator Tricia Dahlgren and we could not be any more thrilled that we did! William and his amazing team captured our wedding day beautifully. If we could give William 10 stars we would. Words can't express how happy we are with the photographs that William took. WOW - William was incredible. Before we even get to the amazing, breath taking, creative photographs, you need to know William as a person. You can tell he LOVES what he does, and takes pride in his work. My now husband and I went to interview William, and we both knew almost immediately he was the guy for us. On the way home, we cancelled all of our other interviews, called him back, and booked him - a year in advance. Even though it was so far in advance, he never forgot about us, checked in periodically, and always made us feel special. He listened to us, and paid attention to every detail about our wedding, to make sure he could capture it based on our vision. He went above and beyond in so many ways, with special, thoughtful surprises along the way...I don't want to tell too much detail as I want the other bride and grooms to be pleasantly surprised as we were. Bottom line, is we have our pictures and are over the moon thrilled. Look no further, book this photographer.

I love photography and for a few years I followed William Innes Photography. The wedding pictures he took were so unique and beautiful. I recommended him to a few friends who hired him for their weddings. I never thought I would become a bride again some day. When I became engaged he was the first person on our list. Where to Start! It was a pleasure working with William for my wedding in San Luis Obispo. He wasn’t very familiar with the area, and went to great lengths to go ahead of time and find the perfect spots for beautiful photos. He was calm and patient with all my guests, which isn’t always an easy task since the aunts and uncles kept jumping in front of him with iPhones.

William was with us for most of the day, taking pictures before the ceremony, during, and after, until almost the end of the reception. He captured all the family and friend shots we needed, and we were left with plenty of time for creative, artistic, and romantic shots as well. I didn't realize how lovely they would be until I saw them. William really has a great eye for a beautiful shot, and we will treasure the photos. We have some truly breath-taking, over-the-mantel-type photos.

I loved that the photos do not look staged, fake, or cliché - he created lovely images that capture the beauty of our location and the excitement and romance of the wedding day.

On the day of the wedding, his assistant Lisa was with him. She was such a calm and serene energy to have around. Since it was a crazy day, I was really grateful to have her there, and her photos were wonderful too!

William’s patience, professionalism, skill, and artistic eye were all deeply appreciated. Everyone who has seen the wedding album loves the photos. His photography is highly recommended and I would certainly hire him again.

William Innes was the best photographer for our engagement, boudoir, and wedding day. He came highly recommended from our venue and other vendors. William and his assistant arrived on time and had excellent suggestions. They not only captured all the posed photos, but many candid ones that really showcased our wedding and all the fun our guests had. Williams documentary style of capturing the whole day was exactly what we were looking for and he delivered beautiful pictures. We hired William for our wedding on March 22, 2014, and also to do our engagement photos. I could not be happier with not only the photos I received, but with the overall service we received from William. From the moment my husband and I met with William, we knew that he was the photographer for us. His good spirit, and warm personality really made us feel at ease. We took engagement photos in downtown Los Angeles, and they came out amazing. We had a great time hanging out with William; he was more like a friend than someone we were working with. We got married at Falkner Winery in Temecula, and William really captured the spirit of the day. The whole day was great with William and Christine (2nd photographer). He put us at ease, and made all of our family and friends feel at ease as well. The photos we received far exceeded any expectations we had, actually it blew them out of the water. Where to begin about William Innes and William Innes Photography?1?! William is just fantastic - plain and simply. My husband and I met William almost one year ago as he photographed by now sister-in-law's wedding last April. When my husband and I met him, we instantly fell in love with William's professional, but cool and calm demeanor. His work is INCREDIBLE - the photos are beautiful and elegant, yet different and fun, which is exactly what we were going for with the look and feel for our recent Palm Springs wedding. From the moment we started working with William, we were at immediate ease. The process of paying, to setting up the engagement shoot to finalizing the wedding details was easy breezy and was by the far the easiest item (and most fun) to deal with on our vendor list. We have so many family, friends and colleagues still commenting on our great engagement photos that we absolutely love. We searched high and low for a reputable, dependable, reliable service. William Innes, recommended by "Knot" magazine and several other esteemed sources, was our final choice. Not only did he come highly recommended from the wedding industry, he was lauded and suggested to us by other vendors.

Look up wedding photographer in the dictionary, and you will be referred to William Innes. He's that good. Aside from his professional outstanding work, he is the nicest most personable individual you will ever meet. He cares about YOU as much as he cares about the quality of his work and services.

We spent over a year with William. He was available 24/7 to assist us not only with photography, but with wedding planning and organizing. He provided us with other individuals to assist in our wedding--with great success and ease.

There is no one better. The quality of his work (photography) for our engagement and wedding was incomparable. He did not charge us for many services provided that were extras. He is a proactive guy who provides solutions before you even know there are problems, and he treats clients with kid gloves, and respect. I was so impressed with William! He was extremely professional and so easy to work with. He really kept the day moving along, but was very lighthearted about it all. Some photographers can create tense moments by demanding, pushing, etc. to keep on an agenda. Not William. He was truly a delight to work with. Although he wasn't the least expensive photographer we looked into, I am so glad we "splurged" on him. His photos were incredible--very creative, and really captured the essence of the day. My wife and I got married on July 13, 2013 at the Newhall Mansion located in Piru, CA. We just got the images back from our wedding, and we could not be happier! William was a great choice for both our wedding and engagement shoot. He is extremely professional, responsive and receptive to all ideas (from a Pinterest-obsessed bride). We ended up using some props for our engagement shoot which he helped integrate into the shoot perfectly. We loved that William was laid back, making everything feel stress-free. He was able to take charge at the wedding though and make sure that we got shots with our gigantic wedding party.

Moral of the story, if you are looking for a wedding photographer, you should definitely contact William and set up an appointment to look at his work. You won't regret it!

There is so much to say about how spectacular of an experience we had with William Innes!!

From the very first conversation we could tell that William had the perfect balance of taking our hopes and wants while giving us the right direction when faced with uncertainty on how we wanted to go about the photography for our most special day.

In an effort to truly get to know us before the big day, William took us on an amazing engagement photoshoot through wine country. William's whole attitude and demeanor was so pleasant it just felt like an awesome day out having fun. The photos were breathtaking! He has a profound passion for what he does that shows in his effortless process. After spending a day with William we were simply excited that he would be a part of our big day!

On the wedding day William and his whole team were very prompt, prepared, professional and created a stress free and relaxed environment for our entire bridal party.
William orchestrated the most incredible setting and process for the first look and the way he and his whole team handled it was like we were the absolute only people there! That moment was so very special because of how William set it up and handled everything including the videographers running all around.

We had all of our photos taken before the ceremony and William was so efficient yet we never felt rushed. He handled the rest of the team and videographers so well while dealing with our whole wedding party! He is a great leader! He also worked seamlessly with our wedding coordinator. They should always come as a package deal!

Working with William was super fun! We definitely made the right choice and he took good care of us, from start to finish. He is very good at what he does, all we have to do is listen and do what he tells us, photo shoot wise :) ... We were encouraging him to run a marathon with us but after working with him pretty much the whole day at San Francisco for our engagement photo shoot, he doesn't need the extra endorphins from running to stay energize. We love his humor and a good adviser as well in terms of other wedding stuff.
We've been to a lot of weddings, saw a lot of different photographers do their job and William was way above better than the other lens men we saw. We were very impressed with William, the way he controlled the photo session with all of our family, relatives and friends in order to maximize precious time. That day most of our guests gave a very strong positive comment about William!

I am truly so pleased and excited to know I have beautiful memories to last a life time! William and his assistants did an amazing job photographing out wedding! When looking for a photographer it was quite overwhelming there are so many! Thankfully I knew once meeting with William we were going to be in good hands! We loved everything about working with Wiliam Innes for our wedding. From our very first meeting with him we felt like we were in good hands and boy were we right! William is professional, talented, and just plain fun to be around. We felt a connection with him immediately and we knew how important that would be for our big day. He was amazing! We received the proofs of our photos (ahead of schedule, I might add) and we're ecstatic about both the quality and quantity of shots. Most of the day we never even realized he was photgraphing us, which was incredible because he managed to photograph every important moment of our day. I would recommend William Innes to anyone, he's incredible in every way.

We spent about 10 hours with William on our wedding day and we were impressed by him the entire time. He was so excited by the pictures he was taking and you could tell he was a very passionate photographer. Even though we haven't seen all of our pictures yet, we know they will be fantastic. We got to see many of the shots as they were being taken, and we were both so pleased with the quality of photos. William is just an overall great guy and definitely has talent. I highly recommend William for any event you need professional photography for, whether it be a Beverly Hills top notch event or a local Santa Clarita event. Our wedding was in Newport Beach and we interviewed photographers from all over Los Angeles and even considered bringing in someone from Arizona to shoot our wedding. William Innes came very highly recommended by someone I completely trusted, so we went with him. We are so happy we did!

William Innes Photography has got to be about as good as it gets. William takes the time to get to know you as a couple and as individuals. Before long he can pretty much guess your answer to most of his photo preference question, but still verifies what you really want. Come wedding day, you realize you made a great choice, right from the get go. In our case, I, the groom, was the closest thing we had to a wedding planner. All through the day, it was William who would give me the "heads up" as to what events we should get moving on, given timing, etc. What happens with your photos after the wedding are as important as taking the photos. Again, from the time you get back from your honeymoon, you realize you made the right choice in William, he's right on it and produces most excellent work for you to begin your album building process, then continues to support you along the way, very patiently and with the utmost respect and professionalism.
We highly recommend William Innes Photography.

My husband Dylan and I could not be happier with William Innes Photography! I have known William for several years through a great friend of mine who is his daughter-in-law. Even if I didn't know him personally, I would have hired him to do my wedding in a heartbeat over any other photographer. William has perfect reviews from multiple webistes and everyone I've talked to who has used his services in the last few years - his resume is quite impressive which is comforting for a bride-to-be who wants the best for her big day. Not only is he professional and established but he is one of the nicest, most experienced vendors you could ever hope to have working for you on the most important day of your life. Our wedding day was the most beautiful, perfect day for Dylan and I and William was able to effortlessly capture every precious moment for us. Another major perk was getting out pictures (all 1300+ of them!) in just over 3 weeks after our wedding. Even with how busy his schedule is, he is dedicated enough to make sure his clients have their pictures in a timely manner. Dylan and I couldn't be happier with William as our photographer. We interviewed several photographers and we're still not quite sure what it was, but William just stood out among the crowd. We had a great time working with William. He not only took photos for us, but offered lots of advice during the planning process. Many of our guests also had plenty of compliments for William as well because he was so easy to talk to and work with. We're especially grateful to him because he was willing to be dragged around the LA area. He and his partner got great shots considering the limitations placed on us by the rules at the ceremony venue and the spottiness of the lighting thanks to the semi-outdoor setting. He was always quick to respond to inquiries and even advised us when he was on vacation. Overall, it was a great experience working with William and we would definitely recommend William to our family and friends.

Pictures are very important to me and so I was very particular on who to choose to do the photography for our wedding. I am so pleased with William Innes. He is incredibly talented and does his work in a professional manner while still having fun. His eye is very attentive to his surroundings to capture all the beauty needed for a great photo. I can't say enough positive things about William Innes Photography! My husband and I had a short engagement, so we didn't contact William until two months before our wedding. We were so worried he was going to be booked, but to our great surprise, he was available on our wedding date. Since we didn't have time for an engagement session, William took the time to meet with us to chat and hang out so he could get to know us before our wedding. We formed a great relationship during that time and it made all the difference on our wedding date. We knew William, trusted him and felt like we had a great friend photographing our wedding. William also knew the style of our wedding and how many small details and thought we were putting into everything. He brought Christine, his second photographer, that he knew would be perfect at capturing the small details and some other ideas we had envisioned. It meant so much to us that William went out of his way to get a second photographer that was also a perfect fit for our style. Working with William - someone we trusted, respected and loved his work - helped us relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding. Throughout the day and night, everywhere we looked, we saw William and Christine capturing every moment.
William is a professional in every sense of the word. He takes great pride in his work and knows exactly what he's looking for in a shot. His equipment is top-notch...the combination of a pro and awesome gear equals amazing photos! William is funny and made us feel relaxed and at ease - a must for looking natural in your photos! We were having so much fun at our reception that we went a little late and William and Christine happily stayed late in order to capture our sparkler grand exit. Throughout the entire planning process and wedding day, William was always available for our needs and was so easy to communicate with. William treated us (and our wedding day) as he would a family member and made us feel so special.

William is absolutely amazing!!!! We had met with a few photographers but no one is quite like him. He not only put me at ease on my day but my husband as well! Besides that his work is breath taking!!!! Simply remarkable! He is work every penny!!! Those pictures will last a life time. Planning a wedding can be very stressful. That goes without saying. Being the groom can also be a challenge as the wedding planning process is uncharted territory for most men. I am very uncomfortable taking photos and William made this challenge a breeze. William is a talented, skilled, experienced photographer. He knows how to gauge his clients, and adjusts his style accordingly. Though he takes the obligatory photos of the families and bridal party, he also incorporates his own style to the rest of the photos. He has a way of capturing the personalities and emotions of people in pictures. He is very punctual, and gets his products out in a timely manner. Very easy to work with, super accommodating, and a gentleman all around. Quite a few of our guests already commended his style and vision, without yet seeing the photos!

William shot our June wedding and our engagement session and he was an absolute pleasure to work with. We felt so comfortable with William, from the moment we met him at his house, not some office in an industrial park. Shooting our engagement session in the Santa Ynez wine country was so much fun, much more so than I (the groom) was expecting. Communicating with William is super easy, and we were really able to get in touch with him any time, between his email, phone and facebook.

On the day of the wedding, William and his assistant were in super-professional mode, while maintaining his personal touch. What I mean by this is that William was kind, funny and understanding, while being firm and assertive when he needed to (like controlling drunk and unruly groomsmen for group photos lol.) We certainly appreciated this because as any bride and groom will find out, keeping a tight schedule is very important on the day of. Once all the have-to pictures were taken, William's game stepped up even more. He shot the ceremony thoroughly, yet without seeming intrusive, and really got some amazing pictures! The same is true for the reception. He knows how to shoot pictures on the dancefloor without bumping in to people or getting in people's way.

Service with William after the wedding was equally impressive, if not more so. His communication throughout the entire post-wedding photo-reviewing and picking process was fantastic. We had a sampling of photos available through his blog and facebook page within a week, and were able to begin sharing that preview album with friends and family within a week of the wedding. He had our complete album up online, so that friends and family could order prints quickly as well. William gave us a nicely packaged 4-disc set with almost 1600 photos for us to review and keep. We then whittled that down to a certain number for the album that we had William make for us. He uses high quality album printers, and artfully uses photo-editing software to enhance the photos we chose, so that our album will be a classy, elegant addition to our home, and something we will be proud to show-off for years to come.

Ultimately we were incredibly pleased with William Innes as our photographer. The quality of his work is unmatched. His commitment to serving the couple, balanced with his priceless experience as a wedding photographer, and amazing openness in communication lead to a truly pleasant process. Finally, the speed with which William had our pictures available was one of the most impressive aspects of our experience with him. We've heard plenty of horror stories about wedding photographers, and especially with the amount of time they take to get out a mediocre product. I am happy to say we had no such issues with William.

William was the best choice my husband and I made for our wedding!!! His work is amazing and beautiful! He gets every shot you hope for. And, he captures the emotion of every moment.
Not only is he a great photographer, he's so fun to get to know. My husband and I spent a day with William for our engagement photos, and since have become great friends with him. He's so welcoming and fun to work with. He has great ideas and loves to hear yours too.
One of my favorite things that he suggested is to have my husband and I meet in private before our ceremony. He photographed our secret meeting and the photos turned out so special and beautiful. It still makes me tear up when I think about it. Not only was it a special moment for my husband and I, it really set the tone for the rest of our day. It helped ease the anxiety of everything; so, we were able to relax and enjoy every second of our wedding.

what can i say that has not already been said. William is amazing. He captures the art of beauty in every photo. My husband and I are too very laid back people, whom like to have a great time. William expressed this in all our pictures. He stays calm even in times others would be frantic. (like our wedding party 11 on each side)

While searching for my wedding photographer (which I view to be one of the most important elements of any wedding), I looked at the work of so many different photographers that it made me dizzy. I didn't care for the routine bridal party line-up photo that most photographers have, or any of the other run-of-the-mill wedding pictures that you tend to see over and over again. Then I stumbled upon William's website. I saw his photos and they literally brought me to tears. His wedding party photos are all different, casual but elegant. They don't look overly posed like many other photographers' photos do. William's take on photography is fresh and exciting. He has a way of making his brides look glowing in their photos. During the wedding planning process, I interviewed 3 photographers and when Mitch and I met William, we knew he was the one! We were so right!!!! William captured our day PERFECTLY! William Innes is by far the easiest and efficient vendor that I worked with while planning my big day! For me pictures are the most important part of the wedding, and I knew that William would capture everything that I wanted but I never expected them to be this perfect, after all you have them for the rest of your life and you re-live the amazing memories years after the big day!
