William was incredible to work with for both our engagement shoot and wedding day. From the beginning, he made us feel comfortable in front of the camera, which made a huge difference since we are not naturally posey people. Our engagement photos came out beautifully and got us excited for the wedding, and he somehow topped that on the big day. He captured every detail and moment so naturally, and the photos feel timeless and genuine. He was also calm, organized, and great at guiding us without making anything feel stressful. We are so grateful to have had him as part of our day. -

Working with William was one of the best decisions I made. He was always super responsive and my wedding photos exceeding my high expectations. What I love about William is how easy going he is. Not all photographers are like this, but he really made my day stress free while still capturing amazing photos. My parents commented on how well he seemed to know who everyone was and focus in on them throughout the day. He made sure to get every single photo on my shot list and I really couldn't be more satisfied with how the photos came out. Book him for your wedding. He is so nice and amazing at what he does. -

William Hendra is a stunningly talented wedding photographer, with an eye for narrative and unstoppable energy that impressed me as both a bride and a professional literary critic. My husband and I identified William as our top-choice photographer due to his approach to documenting the story of a wedding through a combination of candid photographs and personalized posed shots. When I say “personalized,” I mean that William took the theme of our fall fairytale wedding literally and on the day of my wedding, drove my husband and me to local trails and fields to capture all the whimsy and magic that we had hoped our celebration would hold. William found snatches of scarlet leaves before they were fully in season, lavender wildflowers, and stone walls overgrown with ivy that made our initial photoshoot look exactly like the illustrations from my favorite childhood fairytales. More importantly, William’s calm, kind presence during the photoshoot helped me relax before my ceremony and prepare to truly enjoy the evening. Back at our venue, the gorgeous Mountainville Manor, William was everywhere at once. Many of our guests commented on how discrete, polite, and present our “team of photographers” was; when we told them that William was responsible for quickly, quietly, and constantly taking our thousands of photos, they immediately asked for his contact information. I have a feeling that William is going to be booked solid once my girlfriends start walking down their aisles, so I’d recommend contacting him now for your wedding! -

We hired William as our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made! Not only does he capture moments you didn't even knew happened, ensure you get your photos from your shot list, AND grab the best candids - but he's also incredibly nice and easy to work with, and got our photos back to us less than 3 weeks after our wedding. Our pictures are stunning and I'm so thankful that we'll have these gorgeous memories to look back on for the rest of our lives. Thank you so much again for everything! -

William is absolutely amazing. I loved how in all of his photos he had great action shots. When we received our photos (which we received in 2 weeks) he did not disappoint. We were so amazed at all the candid pictures of everyone at our wedding. You can see everyone's joy throughout the day from start to finish. He captured every single detail of our wedding. I'm so grateful I get to relive the day everytime I look at the photos, it brings me such joy. William is amazing at what he does and he was always quick to respond to all of our questions. Great Experience!
William was by far one of the best vendors we booked for our April wedding. He was incredibly professional, communicative, and talented. He was very thorough and made sure to keep in touch with my fiance and I as our date approached. He kept us on time without ever rushing us or making us feel stressed. He blended in to the point where we were not always cognizant that our picture was being taken which lead to amazing candid shots, but also was great at suggesting other poses, making sure we were getting the shots we requested as needed. We received our full wedding album less than 3 weeks after our wedding. Would highly recommend booking with William Hendra! -

William is the BEST!
William was the absolute best! We had a few friends that hired him for their weddings, so we already knew our pictures would be beautiful and he did not disappoint. I love that his photo style is more true to natural colors and he focuses on capturing authentic moments. Leading up to the wedding he was very organized and quick to respond back to any questions and created a perfect timeline for the day. On the day of the wedding he was so nice and super calm, he did not make me feel stressed at all when I was running behind schedule. We were able to do all of our posed pictures ahead of the ceremony, I sent over specific shots I wanted and they came out better than I could have imagined! Throughout the night he captured so many candid moments on the dance floor and my husband & I, and our guests that I will cherish forever. We received our pictures back completely edited within a week, and there were so many he truly did not miss a moment! EVERYONE has been raving about the pictures and we are SO happy with them. Hiring the right photographer is a huge decision, we are beyond happy that we went with William. Thank you William for making my wedding photo dreams come true! -

William was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. He was very prompt to answer all of our questions and helped us decide on a start time for our outdoor ceremony based on the sunset time so it wasn't too dark for photos. He helped us iron out the timeline of our day, which was so helpful in the last few weeks of the planning process. William accommodated all of our photo requests and was professional in directing us and our wedding party for the posed photos. He also captured amazing candid photos of all the emotions and excitement from our wedding day.
We were so surprised and impressed when he delivered the photos in less than two weeks after the wedding. The photos are so beautiful and we received many compliments from friends and family how talented William is. My husband came across William Hendra photography on social media, right away we both fell in love with the artsy touch he puts into his work. We used William for our engagement photos and our wedding photos and could not be happier with our end results. William made the entire process so easy. If I could give William Hendra Photography 1000000 out of 10, I would. I believe our photos speak for themselves, yet I can’t help but gush about what a wonderful experience we had. Bill is easy going and flexible, with a serious passion for photography and superior attention to detail. We booked Bill for our original wedding date of June 5, 2020 – and then COVID hit. Bill was super easy to work with while rescheduling our wedding date (not once, but twice) and even came to photograph our small, micro-wedding in my in-law’s backyard which we planned to have on our original date. He did not even bat an eye when I called him on the morning of June 5 in tears because of the torrential downpour that would occur during our ceremony, and quickly agreed when we decided to move everything to the next day instead. When our wedding day finally came on September 26, 2021, Bill and his assistant arrived early and made sure to capture all of the specific photos I requested, and some I never even thought to ask for! Bill is quiet and blends in with your wedding, but is able to efficiently organize and photograph even the craziest family and wedding parties, including mine On top of the wonderful day of experience we had with Bill, I received 1300+ gorgeous photos EIGHT DAYS after our wedding. And I am obsessed with Every. Single. One. My wedding was one of the most wonderful days of my life and I am so grateful we hired Bill to capture it. After your wedding day is over, your photographs are *literally* the only thing you have left, and I look forward to seeing these pictures for the rest of my life. -

We cannot express how much we enjoyed working with William! He is an effective and efficient communicator. He was my one vendor that I knew within hours of sending an email he would be providing a response back. He also provides you with your pictures in a timely manner. I could not believe how quickly we received our wedding pictures. William has a creative eye. He knows how to position you in order to capture scenery and lighting. William was flexible, patient, and kind with us throughout this entire experience. He captured our personalities through the pictures taken during our engagement shoot and wedding day. The pictures are BREATHTAKING!! All of our guest are raving about how beautiful each one is. On our wedding day William brought his assistant G with him. G was also very personable and talented. My husband (who doesn't like to take pictures) said he had a blast working with G. William thank you again for capturing the most amazing moments of our special day! William was our photographer for both our minimony in 2020 and our big wedding in 2021 and he was absolutely amazing for both events! William's specialty is capturing authentic moments which he does beautifully, but he also takes amazing portraits and uses light in such an artistic way - our photos are truly works of art. William is professional and friendly as well and he makes you feel comfortable in front of the camera quickly. On the day of our wedding, William brought a second photographer, Gerardo, who was super creative and helped us with different poses - he took beautiful pictures too! On top of everything, William is FAST getting you your pictures back which i know is important to many brides like me who feel like their wedding was over in a flash. Importantly too, we didnt get a videographer because we felt william would capture the energy and every important moment and he really delivered! Thank you William!! -

He was calm and demonstrated years of experience and attention to detail on our wedding day. The turn around time for our photos was SHOCKINGLY fast and the quality was worth every penny. 5/22/21 Sandy Hook Chapel (NJ) Wedding
William is AMAZING! I was speechless when we received our wedding album! The photos were beautiful and the turnaround time was so fast. I was not expecting that! We had a great experience working with William, from our photo engagement session to the wedding day. William was friendly, professional, and made us feel at ease.
On the wedding day, I have no idea how William captured some of our shots. He took wonderful pictures of my wedding dress, stationery, etc., while I was getting my hair and makeup done. I was not involved at all, but I am so happy with how the pictures turned out and his attention to detail. Throughout the wedding, William did a great job of capturing posed and candid photos. He never missed an opportunity and we even snuck out for a beautiful sunset photo during the reception. I would definitely recommend William!! One of the best investments you will make for your wedding day!! -

I actually found William through Facebook when a friend posted her engagement photos and they were SO GORGEOUS! I just HAD to contact him. No surprise, our engagement photos also turned out amazing. I have them printed all over my house. He was so easy to work with, made us feel so comfortable, and gave me so so many variations and options to pick from for my save the dates. It only made me more excited about my wedding photos. Then COVID hit. William reached out to me before I even had the chance to be concerned about what was going to happen with my wedding and reassured me that he would try to make anything that I needed work. We ended up keeping our wedding date, but changing the venue to be outdoors. William was so flexible, helpful, professional, and just awesome throughout the whole process. My wedding photos came out so amazingly gorgeous that I am going to need to buy a bigger house with more wall space because I have too many favorites. I couldn't say more nice things about William. He and his team were awesome. Any time throughout my wedding when I was dancing with a family member or with someone I love and thought to myself "gee I hope they get this" I would turn around and there they were. They were everywhere, but also you wouldn't notice them unless you were really looking. I have so many beautiful memories that I get to relive every time I look through all of the photos. They made all of my wedding photo dreams come true. -

THE BEST wedding photographer you could choose!!
Working with William was such a delight and he definitely delivered in his photography!! He really has a natural eye for catching the BEST moments in the most picturesque way. He is very creative and is very good at locating the perfect background. William is very friendly and made our photography experience so comfortable--especially considering how awkward my fiance (now husband) and I were around the camera. He was never pushy nor did he make us pose in tacky ways--everything he did was so organic and he really did catch us in our most natural states. I, for one, am not one to take posed pictures, but really wanted something that captured the true essence of my husband and I---which William definitely did with his photos. The package we purchased included an engagement photo session. We had to reschedule about 3 times because it kept raining on the date we chose; however, William was SO easy to work with and really accommodated to our scheduling needs. Even though we chose to take our pictures during peak-wedding season, he did all he could to make it work. And it did! William had recommended a local park for us to take pictures and we really had a fun time with him! We got down and dirty, getting our feet wet and climbing tree stumps (never forced by William, but he made sure everything we did was within our comfort zone). The pictures came out AMAZING. All our friends and family were saying how the pictures were so creative and different than normal engagement photos.
Moving onto the wedding day... As with most weddings, there were some timing hiccups in the morning, where we ended up running behind schedule. Despite all of this, William and his co-photographer, Brian, were so understanding and never once made us feel pressured. They came early, and they stayed until the end of the night.. which was definitely not expected of them, but they really wanted to capture the emotions of the entire night. They went out of their way to deliver the best quality photos for our wedding day, even getting down on the ground to get the best angle of us. During our wedding photo shoot, we had such a great time with Will and Brian--full of laughter and genuine happiness. Will & Brian are seriously the best team! At the end of the night, they even managed to pull us out so we could take a really beautiful picture outdoors, and that ended up being one of our favorite pictures.
Also, let me just tell you how quick Will's turnaround time for photos is. So our engagement photos were back to us within a week, and our wedding photos (over 1,000 photos) were back to us in exactly 9 days...all edited and perfected. Will is not only skilled at what he does, but he's so efficient and you can tell he puts 100% into all he does.
We also went with their photobooth service, which was great!! They had fun props and the photo quality was great. We even got to select the design of the photo strip.
All in all, we are SO glad we went with William Hendra Photography. If I had to do my wedding all over again, I'd go with William for photography in a heart beat!! Nowadays, it's so hard to find a photographer who actually cares, but with William, he is provides great photos and services. I cannot rave enough about how much we loved our photos and how he caught all of those special moments. The emotions were so clear in the pictures. My sister and parents all agreed that they really liked William's photos and even admitted that they turned out better than my sister's wedding photos (which was extremely overpriced for the service they provided). 20 out of 10 I recommend William Hendra Photography. -

Beautiful photos, easy-going process
Will and his team were truly a "find" in our wedding vendor search. His beautiful, rich photos speak for themselves, but on a personal level, Will was so easy to work with and down to earth, making the photo-taking process easy and comfortable. He braved 40 degree beach weather with us for our engagement session, which we loved, and he and his assistant absolutely delivered on our wedding day despite the weather being not so cooperative. The result is timeless, rich photographs that serve as an authentic memory of our day, as opposed to overly posed, fabricated, over-edited images. We really couldn't ask for more. Thank you! -

Finding a photographer for our fall 2018 wedding was not the easiest part of the wedding planning process for me. Luckily I eventually came across William’s profile and instantly fell in love with his work and his ability to bring each couple’s personalities into his photos. After speaking with William over an initial call he seemed extremely knowledge and flexible to work with. He was an easy choice to hire for our 9/22 wedding.
My husband worked with William twice, the first being our spring engagement shoot in Central Park NY. We had such a great time exploring Central Park with William and particularly loved his suggestion that we rent a row boat to capture additional pictures during sunset- these pictures came out amazing!
We worked with William a second time during our September wedding. William was again wonderful to work with and came armed with locations and pose ideas for our portrait pictures. William was even extremely patient and willing to have us set up time slots to take pictures with our extended family -this is not something most photographers I spoke with would agree to do, but William was supportive and willing to make this happen for us. We received all of our pictures back in less than a month and were blown away by William’s work and by all of the special moments he captured from our wedding day.
William is a joy to work with and will not disappoint! -

Kaitlin Sent on 09/23/2018I feel like I have started to write this review five times but cannot figure out where to begin-- I had spent hours and hours researching photographers, and we are SO grateful we found William. We would not change anything. Working with William and his assistant that day was so easy and wonderful. I was a bit anxious about the fact we hadn't met in person prior to the day, though we had a few video calls, but when we met, I felt like I had met him. He is so easy to work with, so polite, so detail-oriented. The two arrived early, were utmost professionals, and everyone in the wedding party loved them. Even the detail of him clasping my shoes before taking a photo of them (this being before I had them on my feet of course), so they looked more put together, stood out to me. William is perceptive and went with the flow of the day so well. We got married in a Catholic church, and we never had to worry about where they were during the ceremony. Having them both, they were able to capture bride and groom at the same time, as well as the congregation. During the reception, they did such a great job of capturing not only the two of us, but everyone on the dance floor, as well as laughter and smiles at the tables. The photos came back to us in under three weeks-- we couldn't believe it, especially during September, a very busy wedding month. The results blew us away. Tears in our eyes as we relived the happy day and were overwhelmed with joy at the photos. Just incredible how he captured moments, reactions, the light--in both daytime and nighttime as well as in a dark church-- I could go on and on! -

We loved everything about his vision and photojournalistic style. From the first moment he walked in my hotel room while I was getting ready, I felt an ease. William made the day go by so smoothly for me. He never asked me to stop and pose for him- he simply captured moments. Looking back at my photos now, I feel like I relieve those moments- from the ceremony, to the guests mingling, to the dancing, to my ABSOLUTE fairytale night picture. You could barely notice he was ever even there, but he never missed a beat. Kate Sent on 02/02/2018William is just incredible. I was really nervous about the whole photography thing at my wedding—my husband and I are awkward people who take VERY awkward photos. William was patient with us and listened carefully to what we were looking for from our photos and holy hell, did he deliver. When we got our pictures back, we were thrilled to see how natural we looked. We were also over the moon with all of the candid shots he got of our ceremony and reception. He always seemed to know where the action was and captured so many of the moments that we missed. There's one picture in particular of my mom trying to sneak a taste of the wedding cake that makes me laugh every time I see it. Beyond his technical expertise, William is also an amazingly nice dude who is an absolute pleasure to have around on a very stressful and busy day. I would recommend him to anyone looking for a wedding photographer.

Christine Sent on 01/30/2018William completely blew us away. He captured the pictures of our wedding in January 2018. Not only was William super easy to work with, but the turnaround time for our photos was very quick!
We loved his laid-back approach to pictures. Nothing was forced, and we didn't feel as though a ton of our time was being used on the pictures. Throughout the night, I feel like I hardly saw William, but he somehow captured every special moment of our day. And the pictures are so incredible - they are edited to really enhance the photos without looking like they are completely redone.
We literally could not be happier with William, and would recommend him to any-and-everyone. Thank you SO much! -

Valery Sent on 11/19/2017My husband and I had the luck of finding the perfect photographer for our wedding in September. We were looking for high quality photos, and some video for our big day, that would not break our budget. Never would we imagine that not only was William and his second photographer, Andrew be professional, friendly, attentive and budget friendly, but provide the most beautiful photos (hundreds!) and a highlight video that we are still crying over because it was perfect! I think the best compliment is that the day of the wedding, at the ceremony and reception, I forgot they were there. Yet somehow they managed to capture every important moment and a lot of spontaneous fun and moving moments as well. I can not say thank you enough to this team. Brides, you will not be sorry!

Mary Sent on 07/02/2017Where do we start with William? Our big day took place in small town Allentown, NJ and from the beginning, William was so easy to work with. From his communication, professionalism, flexibility, and creativity, William was on point every single part of the day. He and his co-photographer did an amazing job capturing our day from the beginning until the end (we didn't want it to end!). My husband and I, along with family and friends, were extremely impressed with the pictures and how they turned out! I would highly recommend William for one of the most important and special days of your life! -
