Wildwood did our wedding with very short notice from us, and it was absolutely beautiful. The footage that they took really captured the energy of the wedding. They were very professional and had plenty of great ideas for shots that came out great. We were even able to add something to our ceremony that we hadn't thought of because of their intake form/questionnaire. We would definitely suggest them to anyone getting married! -

From the beginning, JD was incredibly easy to communicate with. He took the time to understand our vision, providing valuable input and suggestions to enhance our ideas. We were married in Bend, OR winter 2023 and it was an unforgettable day. One of the best decisions we made was hiring JD to capture our wedding day so we could enjoy watching it over and over each year. Wedding days are whirlwinds, and I was so thankful for the attention to detail that Wildwood Wedding Films took to ensure nothing was missed. JD was kind, professional and his work speaks for itself. Javier was the assistant on the project and we were thrilled with his work as well. Weddings are a big investment, and while high quality videographers like Wildwood Wedding Films are also an investment, it’s one of the best investments we made. Each time I watch our wedding film I notice something new, each time I am brought back to one of the best days of my life, and each time I am thankful I researched videographers and found JD at Wildwood Wedding Films. We are so happy with our experience with JD and Wildwood Wedding Films. JD was a pro at catching the best moments at just the right time. JD set up cameras at multiple angles as well as got some really fun drone footage.
JD’s turn-around time for the teaser and highlight film beat our expectation. The quality of the videos and JD’s editing process is excellent and perfectly tells the story of my daughter’s wedding day with artistic flair. JD and his assistant were incredible. They were there the whole day but did not once interrupt our time with friends and family and that's exactly what we wanted. They really understood the assignment and paid attention to all our requests.
Working with JD was also super easy. Not only does he provide amazing work, but he's also transparent with his business which we love. Everything about the process was very straightforward and had no hidden costs. He was also quick to respond to all emails and texts. He also delivered the final videos much faster than we'd expected which was much appreciated!
We cannot recommend JD enough and I'm a picky bride!
(PS. If you're on the fence about getting a videographer for your wedding, we'd say to go for it even if you're shy people like us :). The wedding day went by SO fast that we felt fortunate to have JD recording all the details of our special day.) -

Jd did an amazing job with our wedding. We had a very non traditional wedding concept and did a hike down to a beach and got married with close friends and family watching. Getting married in nature was a really important part of the wedding for us and the photography shots and video he got were amazing and really highlighted the beauty of the oregon coast while still capturing some genuine moments of us that showed our love for each other. He also got some great stuff at our reception and edited it all into a really great video that makes me a little emotional each time I watch it. I highly recommend using Wildwood videography for your event! -

J.D. is amazing. He came all the way to Vancouver to capture all of us women getting ready the morning of the wedding. He then went to Portland, where the ceremony was and captured such beautiful footage of the venue before guests got there. He worked so well with our photographer to make sure they were both getting the shots they wanted. He does such great work. He sent us full length edited videos of the ceremony, toasts/speeches and reception 2 days after the wedding!! He then got us our final highlight film about 2 weeks later. I cannot rave enough about the detail he captured and how great the film is. We were extra needy and wanted all of the raw footage as well. He went above and beyond and got us a hard drive to upload it to. I researched my vendors like crazy. The cost of a videographer was my biggest hesitation about deciding whether to get one or not. But I felt their prices were very reasonable. I HIGHLY recommend Wildwood Wedding Films for you big day. -

J.D. is very quick to respond and super clear communicating what to expect beforehand. Then on the day of our wedding, he was the most organized, consistently reliable, and artistically skilled person you could ever hope to have as a videographer! He kept our wedding day flowing smoothly, even going above and beyond to help coordinate with our photographer for ultimate video and photo coverage of our day. After the wedding, he kept us updated about getting our videos out to us, was quick to edit and produce our wedding video, and our highlight video was simply incredible! I’d recommend J.D. to anyone— definitely a top notch vendor and great to work with. He’s very organized, prioritizes communication, and delivers the quality promised, which looking back at wedding planning over all and working with different vendors, I realize those are the most important qualities -

I am so grateful to JD/Wildwood Digital Media for capturing our wedding. The day goes by so fast and being able to watch these beautiful videos is the most precious gift of all. JD did an amazing job filming the ceremony, speeches and first dance, but what I really treasure are all the candid moments, the laughter, and the love.
JD was very communicative throughout the whole process and I’m amazed by how fast we got our videos back - some within days! He listened to what we wanted and we really appreciated his experience and creativity to tell our story. We’re so glad JD was with us the whole day from setting up till the end and it didn’t feel intrusive al all - it’s how we got so much great footage. He also worked well with our photographer - bouncing ideas off each other. -

JD went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding. We looked around at videographers for our ceremony and compared previous work from a few. JD’s work stood out the most. His rates are very fair for the amount of work he puts in and on top of that the video edit he made of the day is absolutely perfect. We will be watching it for many anniversaries to come. JD did an amazing job with our wedding videos! He worked well with our photographer the day of the wedding and at the end of the night he even took a group photo for us! The videos came out beautifully and we cannot thank him enough for being out videographer. My Husband and I originally booked another videographer for our wedding but unfortunately had to cancel with them due to an emergency. We began looking again having only 2 weeks till the wedding-JD contacted us right away and got to working as soon as possible! He is quick, responsive, and overall an amazing person and videographer. -

Winter Wedding/Snow ski dream day
JD at Wildwood was so great to work with! I knew that I wanted to share our “elopement “ wedding with friends and family and had a couple ideas but really didn’t know where to start. JD is responsive and listened to our ideas and shared his creative knowledge to create a beautiful video that truly captured the essence of our wedding and our story. He made us both feel very comfortable while filming and accommodated last minute changes. He hiked a snow bank to get video footage of us skiing and added artistic scenes that ties the entire video together. His turnaround time was very fast as well! I highly recommend his work, you will not be disappointed!! -

We had to change locations a month out from our wedding due to Covid-19 and J.D. was extremely flexible and easy to work with, which for any bride dealing with unprecedented changes to your wedding flexibility is something you need.
He captured such beautiful moments on the day of our wedding too and made being filmed feel very natural!

I contacted J.D. just 2 weeks before my 6/20/2020 wedding and he worked with me through and through! On the day of, he was very polite, respectful, and never intrusive. Communication was excellent. He quoted us about 2 weeks we'd receive our wedding films, and we got our them back within just a few days after the event! Highly recommend him! -

I'm REALLY thrilled with everything about JD and Wildwood from start to finish. He communicated clearly, answered all of my questions, responded incredibly promptly (even once when he was overseas on vacation), and his prices were incredibly fair for everything we got out of it. As someone who makes decisions very carefully and researches A TON of options before making my final choice, I can confidently say that Wildwood was above and beyond the best value for the money by far. My husband, my family and I LOVE our videos. They are gorgeous and sweet and we have cherished them very dearly since our wedding (especially since we got married at the end of February 2020, right before the world shut down). I love how many versions we came away with. I love being able to access them easily. The quality is amazing, somehow both artistic and genuine. If you're having any doubt, I strongly recommend hiring a videographer for your wedding, and I strongly recommend Wildwood. I'm SO glad we pulled the trigger and decided to spend the money. Super worth it. I can't say it enough! -

James was handling both video and stills, so he had his work cut out. We were being married on our spacious back deck, but it was rainy off and on. He dealt well with that and was an amazing photographer and video editor. We recommend him without hesitation to make you day special. -

My wife and I were floored by how stunning our wedding video turned out! Wildwood was able to show us vividly what we couldn’t see ourselves and we both cried upon viewing because it made us feel like we were in all of the places we couldn’t be during our big day. Not only was Wildwood professional, communicative and creative – they produced our video for us very quickly which meant a lot because we had many friends and family members who could not be there for our destination wedding – so seeing the video was their way of taking part from afar.
