Writing a review for Kristin is really hard because there are so many good things to talk about. When I started looking for a photographer, I became quickly discouraged when looking at so many websites but found they weren't easy to navigate or find information on. When I found Kristin's, I immediately felt enlivened and excited because first off, her website had so much information and was so easy to use. The more I explored, the more I was impressed by her organization, information provided, galleries uploaded, and how she presented herself. She was the first and only photographer I showed my fiancé and then immediately booked a consultation with. On our first call with her, we were immediately struck by how comfortable she made us feel and excited about taking photos as neither of us knew what to expect. She made everything so personable and presented all of her information so clearly. We went in to the appointment expecting no availability and/or to not be able to afford her with our budget. We were blown away that she was free on our wedding day and that our budget would work. The follow-up email was so helpful as it featured different galleries to showcase the options of packages we talked about of time length. Her packages are so easy to work through and so customizable, we were just amazed at the ease of it!
The engagement session was so much fun. She made it so easy to laugh and get to know her and the location she picked was just amazing. We're both very awkward people in front of the camera and she made it so easy to be ourselves. I love her spontaneity to just say, "here's a great spot, let's try this!" She was conscientious to ask about our level of PDA that we were comfortable with and suggested great poses. It didn't even feel like we had someone taking photos of us!
As the wedding got closer, her emails provided great resources for me to make a timeline and photo list. She was so gracious when we explained family complications and helped create a photo order for how to navigate that. I honestly felt so cared for and prepared by her in how easily reachable she was, the information provided in emails, and in her thoughtful responses.
We had her do rehearsal coverage and we're so thankful we did so that the lightning was adjusted the night before so that it didn't have to be done the day of. The photos of just us and our out-of-town guests and family are priceless.
On our wedding day, she was an anchor. She so thoughtfully brought fancy hangers for my dress, extra cloth for detail shots, ring boxes, and you name it, she had it. Despite a million questions, she and the second shooter were poised and grateful even when part of their lunch didn't show up (forever mortified by that.) She helped me stay calm and reassured everyone that they would get their photo taken. My getting ready photos and first look with my family members are some that I'll always treasure as some of my favorite photos because of the emotion captured there. We're so thankful for her attention to detail as she so patiently dealt with a million "EXIT" signs and their lighting. She and her second shooter also got us AHEAD of schedule after the ceremony despite playing catch up with before ceremony photos and all of the family photos afterward. Our private couple's session was so special and again it was so easy to enjoy time together and forget that she was there. Her spontaneity and creative eye found amazing locations on site that created the most amazing photos. The reception photos capture the life and joy that made it such a fun time. We managed to almost run her over during our first dance, but she reacted with such poise and grace that it wasn't even noticed by our guests.
The sneak peaks were incredible and we were shocked and amazed that we got them the next day! We watched them at least a dozen times in the first hour of getting them. They were so special and just made us even more eager to see the whole gallery. All in all, I cannot recommend Kristin enough and am so thankful she was such a huge part of my wedding! -

Kristen is truly one-of-a-kind, and words will never fully capture how grateful we are for her. I fell in love with her/her work years ago when she photographed my little sister’s wedding. From that moment, I knew there was no one else I’d trust to document one of the most important days of my life. Kristen exceeded every expectation and made our wedding day unforgettable in every possible way.
On our wedding day, Kristen made me feel calm (as much as she could) and playful. Whenever I felt overwhelmed or emotional (which happened often, I was an absolute wreck —overwhelmed with happiness, obviously), she reassured me that everything was going according to plan, which it wasn’t, as expected it took longer for us to get ready than allocated 😉 but because she’s incredible, she was able to catch up on the time we lost.
The sneak peeks she sent over the morning after the wedding were everything we could’ve hoped for—and more. I cried, hard, when I saw them. They perfectly captured the joy, love, and tiny moments we thought we’d missed in the whirlwind of the day.
Leading up to the wedding, Kristen was just as incredible. Her guides, and communication were so helpful, especially during the last few stressful months of planning. I tend to procrastinate on tasks when I’m overwhelmed, but Kristen made everything feel manageable. Her pre-wedding questionnaire was a game-changer—it included thoughtful questions that not only helped her understand our vision but also sparked inspiration for me. In fact, I ended up writing my vows based on the reflections her questions brought out in me. That’s how much she cares about every detail.
When we received our final gallery, I cried all over again. The photos perfectly reflected all the love, hard work, and intention we poured into our wedding. Kristen didn’t miss a single detail, from the sentimental items we carefully chose to the spontaneous, candid moments we didn’t even know happened. Our wedding was intimate, with 156 guests😉, and every photo felt like a window into their individual experiences. Even in the moments we weren’t physically there, Kristen’s photos made us feel like we lived them too.
For anyone considering Kristen as their wedding photographer, stop thinking and book her now. She’s more than a photographer—she’s someone who will care deeply about your story, your vision, and your experience. Her heart and passion shine through every photo she takes, and I will recommend her to everyone I know for the rest of my life. We love Kristen!!
My husband and I were referred to Kristen through our venue. We knew that they would only refer us to the very best so we were confident that Kristen would be fantastic. And when we met her, it was a no brainer. She totally lived up to the hype. Kristen was the photographer for us!
She was warm, vulnerable, very funny and so curious to learn anything and everything about us!! I will admit I had mixed expectations going into the first meeting because I feel like meeting anyone for the first time can be awkward. But, it was anything but that. She validated all of her amazing reviews and left my husband I feeling so much more excited to be getting married!
When I look back on our wedding day, I just can’t believe how perfect everything turned out. And so much of that is because of Kristen! She captured every moment (big and small), remembered all the special details that we wanted to highlight and brought this special energy that made everything more fun. And, while I was enjoying the best day of my life, I felt so reassured and confident when our eyes met that she got “the shot”. And she did! Every single time!
That’s not all. When we were getting ready, Kristen was so patient and flexible with the unexpected delays and changes
that came up. She even helped me with my dress!! Kristen saw I needed an extra hand, let go of her camera and jumped right in. I think her exact words were “I got this, don’t worry”!!

A photographer is arguably the most important vendor you're going to select while wedding planning. You'll look back on these photos for the rest of your life, and you want them to capture the feelings you experienced on your big day. Kristen's work demonstrates how a keen eye, passion, and true connection with her photo subjects can capture your wedding impeccably. Her work showcased all the hard work we put into the little details of the day without ever feeling staged, and her focus on our experience and that of our guests was beyond compare. From the outset, we knew she was going to be a delight to work with, and we couldn't be more thrilled with the final product. Our gallery is both Pinterest worthy and deeply intimate. The colors and editing style are timeless, clear, and every image truly tells a story. Kristen is amazing and we would totally use her again!
Leading up to the wedding Kristen almost overloads you with so much information! She provides so many guides and resources to help you plan, and not just for the photography! She was super responsive during this time and answered any questions and was even able to add on a second photographer a month out when we decided we needed one due to the time constraints.
Kristen was utterly amazing on our wedding day! She fought off both of our intrusive extended families who tried to butt in while we were going down our list of necessary photos while also trying to beat the setting sun. We are way too nice so it was great having someone like Kristen who knows we need to get the job done and tell them we have a list so we’ll get their picture later. She and her second were both so nice and I really enjoyed having them there to support us and photograph our wedding day. She laughed at all our nerdy wedding jokes and made us feel comfortable and natural while taking photos. She’s also a pro who can cycle through taking single photos of you and each bridesmaid/groomsman in no time at all.
We were astonished when we had a sneak preview literally the next day! That was so quick! She provided us with some of the best shots to share right away as well as one we used for our Christmas card.
Our final gallery came a week earlier than expected (and on Christmas Eve to boot)! We spent hours gushing over just our first pass of the photos. We just love Kristen’s aesthetic she’s added to the photos through her editing. The day doesn’t look quite as grey and dark as it was and she really made the colors on the groom’s maroon suit POP. Overall she has such a natural, light, soft look and we absolutely love what she’s delivered to us. There are so many fun candid photos of guests dancing and having fun as well as the special tearful moments with family and friends as well.
My grandma was unable to make it to the wedding due to her health and so two weeks later we went to visit her in our wedding outfits and take some iPhone photos. Kristen was gracious enough to edit those a little so that they looked more professional and my grandma could feel like she was there too when we showed her the gallery. We really appreciated this gesture as Kristen went above and beyond to do that for us!
We would use Kristen again in a heartbeat so we highly recommend you do too! -

The absolute best
We had Kristen photograph our wedding in October and there’s not enough words in the dictionary to describe how absolutely incredible she has been on our crazy ride. From our first conversations through FaceTime, we knew there was no one else we wanted to shoot our wedding, and time and time again she proved to us why she’s the best in the industry. Kristen has the absolute best personality and has a gift for making people feel safe, sound, and secure on their big day. Every picture is breathtaking and every detail is perfection. If there’s any complaint I can make, it’s that we now have the impossible task of figuring out what pictures we want to hang on our walls when what we really want to do is get a bigger wall to put them all up! We’ve spent countless hours scouring through the hundreds of beautiful photos Kristen took of our wedding and we’re instantly transported back in time to relive our special day over and over again. Kristen is the absolute best and no one else can compare if I’m being honest. What truly makes her the greatest is not just her photography but also how welcoming and personal she is. Kristen has the innate ability to make every person she comes across feel like her best friend and all our guests came to us after the wedding to talk about how great she was not just as a photographer but also as a person. From the moment we met Kristin during a Zoom consultation, we knew we were in the hands of a true artist. We immediately booked her to shoot our wedding and were blown away by her talent and performance.
Not only does she deliver absolutely stunning photos, which I'll talk about in a minute, but she also cared to really get to know my wife and I. Kristin spent time asking questions and figuring out what we like, our vibe, and what we were most excited about for our wedding. I can't express enough how much fun we had working with her. I cannot express how much we adored Kristen! From beginning to end Kristen has been absolutely amazing! When you sob while saying goodbye to your wedding photographer at the end of the night, you know it's been something pretty special. Where do I even begin? Kristen is an absolutely amaaaazing person and master of her craft. We're so thrilled we got bonus time with Kristen by doing an engagement shoot out in Redlands - those shots blew our minds and we loved sharing them online as we counted down to the Big Day. Our So Cal wedding got a good amount of good-luck RAIN and everyone had to improvise! Kristen and Holly didn't skip a beat, and the rain only ended up adding to the euphoria and magnetism and magic of the night. Kristen brought so much delight and professionalism to every moment and every challenge. She LOVES what she does and her radiant, authentic, playful spirit is totally infectious. I cannot say enough great things about Kristen. She was so great to work with! She is very professional, but at the same time, super approachable and fun! From our first conversation, I could tell we were on the same page with respect to our vision. And our photos were all exactly what we would have wanted. Kristen is incredible. When I was searching for a photographer for our June 2021 wedding, my priority was a reflection of real-life. I wanted to look at my wedding pictures 5, 10, 20, 50 years from now, and have them actually LOOK like my wedding day. I was immediately drawn to Kristen's editing style, which is so classic, with natural-looking colors. When I looked at Kristen's galleries and blogs, the photos looked realistic, which I loved! We booked Kristen and did our engagement and wedding with her and couldn't be happier. She was professional and personable. Kristen made both my husband and myself LAUGH, and it translated in the photos. I got countless comments from friends that our wedding photos were magazine worthy, both for their style and authenticity. Kristen felt like a friend on my wedding day, which I appreciated so much. She entertained tons of emails about engagement photo locations, scheduling, priorities, etc. I can't sing her enough praises. Her authentic style comes through in her photos and we are so happy with both our posed and candid pictures from our big day. She absolutely killed it! Thank you, Kristen! -

I am so glad we found Kristen!!! After pushing our wedding date back repeatedly because of Covid we finally decided to elope privately in the mountains. I contacted her about a week beforehand and she was completely on board, very responsive and she seemed excited to participate in our big day. When we met her in person that day she was incredibly helpful, personable, professional, and really fun. There was no one from the venue at our wedding site to assist me in getting ready and she was right there asking me what I needed which was such a relief. She made me feel supported that whole time which meant a lot because the process leading up to the ceremony felt so haphazard. On top of that, she was just so much fun to chat and joke with during our post-ceremony shoot. Kristen made us feel totally comfortable and we got along incredibly well. She gives very good direction; she definitely knows how to coax emotions and expressions out of you and captures them beautifully. There are some pretty funny memories we have now because of that. She even stayed to have a glass of champagne with us after all was done! We are really happy with our wedding photos and our fantastic experience with Kristen. -

This review is LONG OVERDUE! I don't even know where to begin. I wanted Kristen to be my photographer for our engagement and wedding before my now husband even proposed to me LOL. There really are not enough words to describe all the gratitude we have for Kristen. Constant communication, updates, ideas, and extremely personable!
My husband and I are awkward in front of the camera (I know, I know sooo many people say that), but seriously, having Kristen as our photographer was like having someone you've known forever take your photos--so. much. laughter which made us forget (mostly) about how we are awkward with poses.
Our sunrise engagement session quickly turned into an extended morning fog, but that didn't stop her from creating something so beautiful out of a dreary day. She was so patient and high spirited that early morning as we waited to see if the sun would shine. Then of course, fast forward to having to change gears a few times due to an unfortunate pandemic. She was extremely flexible and understanding with the constant changes.
Our micro wedding was in my uncle's backyard, smack dab in a typical suburban neighborhood, with a friendly neighbor mowing down his backyard during the entire ceremony. Kristen managed to capture so many little details and moments in a short amount of time. So many people commented with surprise that from the photos, you couldn't even tell it was in a backyard surrounded by houses. We are forever grateful to have picked Kristen as our photographer to capture memories from a crazy year!
She puts 110% of herself into everything she does for the couples she works with and her eye for capturing fleeting moments is magical. -

Preface: Kristen recently photographed my baby sister's wedding during this pandemic, which was stressful for us in itself. Words cannot even begin to describe just how WONDERFUL Kristen is. There tends to be an awkward period when first meeting someone, anyone, until you become acclimated to each other...especially when they are meant to document one of the most important and intimate days of your life. With Kristen, that awkward period lasted all of one minute. She came into the bridal suite bright and high-spirited and ready to capture all the forgotten details and moments for us to remember forever. Her warmth and calm energy eased the nerves in the entire room, which was the most important for the ruffled bride. She was extremely professional and playful with all the wedding attendants, that when it was time for Kristen to leave we begged her to stay, not as the photographer but as a guest...she had become part of the family. She provided a BEAUTIFUL sneak peek JUST the morning after the wedding, and had the entire collection of wedding photos to my sister before the promised date. Kristen's her heart/passion is in her profession and it reflects in her photographs. She captures the overlooked details and missed moments among the chaos of a wedding so her clients may experience them and have those memories to share with everyone. Like I said...words can't express the gratitude and appreciation I feel for her and really how much I like her in general. I will FORSURE be asking her to be my photographer when I get married and will be recommending her to EVERYONE else I know who becomes engaged. -

Absolutely Amazing!
If you are looking for the perfect photographer I promise you this is the one. Me and my new wife could not have been happier with our photos and time we spent with Kristin. We had he photograph our wedding and it honestly felt like we just had another great guest at our wedding rather than an always in the way photographer. My husband and I knew from the moment Kristen began responding to our inquiry that she was definitely going to be the photographer for us! It's very obvious that she cares so much about her clients and making sure they have the best experience possible. I told Kristen from the beginning that we had no idea what we were doing when it came to getting our pictures taken. We wanted someone who would take control and guide us through all the posing and flow of a photo shoot. Kristen made us feel so comfortable and we had an amazing time! Better than I could have asked for! She is the best!
Kristen was amazing as our photographer for our wedding. From the very beginning she felt like a friend who was there to support us in whatever we needed for our wedding. My husband and I can be awkward in photos and she made us feel extremely comfortable and walked us through activities to get great photos. Due to covid our wedding plans changed last minute and Kristen was there to help without missing a beat. I am eternally grateful for hiring her for our wedding. It was the best way to document such a special day. -

Kristen is not only an amazing photographer, but she's a phenomenal person too. Kristen's photos first caught my eye because they are vibratant, bold, bright, and beautiful. As I dived into her portfolio, it's her ability to capture the tiniest most significant moments of emotion that made me decide she's the one. Her photos make you feel like you're right there in those moments, feeling the laughter, joy, and tears of the people she captures. Working with Kristen is a blast. She's funny, spunky, patient, and most importantly she makes sure you know she's there to make your day the best day whether it's an engagement shoot or your wedding day. We walked into our engagement shoot with no idea what to do and Kristen guided us through every moment of the day. At one point I was laughing so hard my face hurt and the photos turned out amazing. When we decided to have a small backyard wedding, Kristen had no problems winging it with us as we figured out the day as it went. She's always saying that she's there for her couples and it's 150% true. She'll do whatever it takes for her couples, even if it means falling off a rock. Just make sure you save her cameras! We love Kristen and can't wait for her to photograph our big wedding January 2021. I can’t recommend her enough! -

What an Amazing Experience!
We love Kristen!! First off, she does amazing work, secondly, she is hilarious and a joy to work with, but most importantly she makes sure to capture every moment you could possibly want for your special day!! We are a mixed-race couple and while my husband was focused on finding a photographer that could photograph different skin tones well, I was focused on finding someone I could laugh with and be comfortable around while getting photos taken. Kristen was our answer! She really knows how to work with different skin tones so both are complimented and look amazing, no light ghost faces or dark shadows. She also asks questions about what we want captured, sentimental things, and details that are important to us. We laughed and had so much fun every time we were working together. We had such a great time getting our engagement photos done (all of us got in the water at some point; Kristen prides herself on doing what it takes for the photo!) and our wedding was marvelous and fun! All the little things were captured perfectly and the big moments were caught from all angles (you would think Kristen had a whole team helping her)! She is also just a wonderful and joyful personality and had no problem chatting and getting to know our families and hanging out! We absolutely made the BEST choice when we chose her to be our photographer, and we recommend her a million times over! -

Literally the best.
Kristen is an absolute joy of a person to work with. She did the photography for our wedding in Lake Arrowhead in October and delivered to us the most beautiful memories. Her ability to capture those unscripted, candid moments is stunning, as was her ability to gently guide us into poses and help us relax. As photographers ourselves, my husband and I had some pretty high standards searching for a wedding photographer, and Kristen did not disappoint. We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos! Kristen literally caught every sentimental, loving and funny emotional moment. Even though it was just her photographing our entire wedding the photos seem like there were three photographers. She was able to capture the expressions on my face as well as my husbands and even get full party shots of our ceremony. We had such a blast looking though the hundreds of photos she sent us only 2 WEEKS after our wedding weekend. We definitely recommend using her for any sentimental photo session! -

Kristen is the best! While shooting, she encouraged us to open up and move around freely while also giving us suggestions and making us feel comfortable in front of the camera. Our photo sessions were always a fun time! We were not living the state during the wedding planning process, and the wedding took place in a third state, but Kristen was able to fit us in whenever we could make it out to California on the same weekend and always worked with us on our schedule. She was professional, courteous, and efficient at the wedding, ensuring we have many many beautiful photos to remind us of our special day. Our photographs are better than we ever could’ve expected and we are so thankful we chose Kristen to be our photographer! We highly recommend her! -

Kristen is amazing!
I have known Kristen for about 7 years now, and I booked her as my photographer before I even had a boyfriend/fiancé. Kristen did my college senior session, my proposal, my engagement photos, and now my wedding and she will be doing my maternity/family sessions when the time comes. I’ve never considered another photographer, not because she’s my friend, but because she exceeds my expectations every time. I always know anything she delivers will be great, but she leaves me speechless with each delivery. You can feel the love, joy, and emotion in all of her work. She puts her whole heart and energy into her work and it doesn’t go unnoticed. I’ve gotten SO many compliments on all the photos I’ve received from her, and everyone is always amazed at her work. Kristen’s photos are not those cheesy poses you see everyday. They convey pure emotion and describe each couple’s relationship so genuinely and personal. I cried when I received my wedding photos. Anyone would truly be honored to have Kristen as your photographer, I know I am because she’s my photographer for life. -

Highly Recommend!
I looked into Kristen after seeing how great my coworkers wedding photos turned out with her. She was very accommodating and willing to only cover three hours of photography for our wedding. I was pleasantly surprised at how many photos we received even though we didn't do a full wedding package and how great they turned out! Highly recommend! -

We were a big group and she handled us all so well and took such great photos . Weddings are special already but the photos are forever .
