My wedding was impacted by COVID-19. After a 2.5 year engagement, my now-husband and I were devastated when we had to plan, replan, cancel, and replan our wedding only to cancel it fully again due to the pandemic. While we still decided to be legally married on our wedding date, we looked forward to the thought of taking anniversary photos with our families the following year, safety permitting.
Amidst the chaos, Christalee proved to be a vendor we could rely on. She was a source of comfort to us; providing understanding, flexibility, and sympathy every step of the way. Come the day of our anniversary photos, meeting Christalee was like reuniting with an old friend. Not only did I feel exceptionally comfortable working with her on a personal level, but her hair and make-up services exceeded my expectations. WCF gave me the bridal hair of my dreams!
Myself and my bridesmaids LOVED working with Christalee from WCF as a hair stylist for my wedding! She was just a bundle of joy, great positive energy, and exactly the vibes we needed at 6:00am to get the wedding day started on a high note! She was absolutely able to execute all of our hairstyles exactly like we wanted them! I (the bride) wanted to wear my hair down and curled as I normally do, but with an elegant, bridal vibe that would take it up a notch on my wedding day, and she gave me the Dolly Parton curled hair of my dreams that stayed fairly put all day. She was even able to perfectly install my extensions, and they didn't fall out or peak through at all the entire day. Every bridesmaid was able to show her an inspo photo the day-of of what they wanted and she had the background knowledge to execute on those on the spot! While most of us opted to do our own makeup, she was able to add on the job of one bridesmaids makeup and did it flawlessly. Timeline-wise, she created a schedule for us far in advance on how long and in which order we'd be getting our hair done, which helped SO MUCH in making the morning run smoothly and exactly on time.
We did a bridal hair trial about 2 months before the wedding and she was able to trial a couple of variations of the style to see what I liked best to ensure we didn't have to do any trial and error on the actual wedding day, which I really appreciated!
I would 100% recommend Wild Child Fabrications for your hair/makeup team for your wedding day, and will be recommending her to all of my engaged friends!

Couldn’t recommend Christalee enough
Christalee was an absolute life saver. A month before my wedding my original hair and makeup company fell through. I was thankfully introduced to Christalee and she saved the day. The experience with her and her team couldn’t have been better. Her communication was above and beyond and she genuinely made an extremely stressful situation such a breeze. She ensured I had a trial and was happy to change things up when I decided my original vision wasn’t what I wanted. She was incredible to work with and made me feel beautiful on my wedding day. She and her team were so professional and made sure to take care of me and my wedding party. We were all so happy with their work and would absolutely recommend. The service was truly above expectations and I wish I would have found her sooner!

From our first calls thru the end of our reception, I could not be happier with how awesome Wildchild was for my wedding party and I. Christalee is the best! She was super responsive, listened to what I wanted and took my feedback into account, and was genuinely so fun to have with me on my wedding day. She and another makeup artist were on time, helpful if my bridesmaids didn't know what they wanted or also very capable of doing whatever they wanted if they brought inspos. They traveled to my venue and were so prepared for anything! My 84 year old grandmother felt beautiful and that meant so much to me! We had a great time getting ready and chatting, and the hair and makeup looked perfect all day, even though it was humid. I would 100% recommend her for the day you need to look your most beautiful!

Christalee does amazing work! She is professional, talented, kind, funny and everything you’re looking for on your big day. I had a gatsby / art deco themed wedding. The makeup she did for myself and others was gorgeous and it lasted all night! I had never had my makeup professionally done but she made me feel comfortable and not nervous. I recommend doing the trial that way she can “fine tune” things for your wedding day plus it gives you a better idea of what you’ll want- for example I went with a slightly lighter lip the day of my wedding than what I had picked during the trial. She is timely, courteous and very communicative so there is no need to worry about whether she will be there or not. Highly recommend for your big day or event!

My mom and I had a trial and she truly listened to what we both wanted and readjusted as needed. On the day of the wedding, we last minute asked to add another person for makeup and she was able to accommodate. You can’t go wrong with Christalee
Christalee is the absolute best. I had one makeup trial and she did such a great job I knew she’d be perfect for my wedding. She even threw my hair up at the trial with a few pins so u could see the makeup with a more fancy style which made me want her to do my hair as well. I did not do a hair trial but come wedding day she blew me away. My hair was absolutely perfect and she was able to style it well enough to show off my hairpiece. Wedding morning was total chaos for me but she was so calming and accommodating with my timeline. She has a wonderful personality and was super friendly to my family. She even did a little makeup for my grandma to make her feel special. My cousins updo was also beautiful and she did not do a trial either. I could not recommend Christalee enough!

I truly cannot say enough to express how fantastic Christalee was! From the first email correspondence she was friendly, prompt, and easy to work with. She gave us a detailed, outlined quote quicky and after perusing her Instagram to see all of her amazing work, I knew she was the HMUA for us! Outside of an updo and dramatic eye, I wasn’t really sure how I wanted my wedding day look to be. Christalee listened to the types of things I liked (and didn’t like) and came up with the PERFECT hair and makeup duo. I’m not a very makeup savvy person so I was a little nervous for the trial, however she made the entire experience completely stress free and really fun! She is hilarious, personable, and truly beyond talented. I left that HMUA trial more excited than ever for the wedding. On the wedding day she was a calm in the chaos of the day. I felt like an absolute princess thanks to her! Not only was the makeup natural (sans the requested super dramatic eyes!) but that foundation did NOT budge as I sobbed my way through our vows and our siblings’ toasts. Not even the humid weather or a night of dancing could make that makeup look anything less than flawless! I highly recommend her for your wedding or honestly any special occasion - you will be so happy you did!

Best HMUA A Bride Could Ask For!!!!
I'm late to the party and writing this on my 1st anniversary (better late than never right?) but realized I forgot to do this and had to because Christalee was an absolute DREAM to work with as my bridal HMUA! We originally scheduled our wedding during the pandemic and ended up having to postpone by over a year. Christalee adapted to my much MUCH longer hair, did a second hair/makeup trial, was so patient with me when I got confused about the looks I wanted, couldn't make up my mind, kept wanted to change things during the trial, and somehow she took all of my feedback from the trial and absolutely BLEW me away with her work at my 3 wedding events! She went the extra mile in every way: tracking down new colors and glittery eyeshadows to fit my visions, going to wild lengths (including zip ties in my hair 😂) to ensure that my hair/makeup lasted through all the dance performances I did at my Indian wedding (it did last and looked incredible the whole way through), putting up with my inability to keep my head still while I sipped smoothies, ate snacks, and tried to stay awake 🙃. And on top of all of that, she is just so much fun to be around which is super helpful for some you spend hours with on your wedding day :) I could not recommend her more highly, if you hire Christalee you are 100% making the right decision ❤️

Christalee was absolutely amazing to work with. The trial run was at her home studio was a very cute space. My mom had such a good time watching my trial that she actually signed up to get her own! She is willing to try multiple hair styles/face makeup until you are pleased with results (I liked mine on the very first try!). She was prompt on the day of the wedding and her assistant was also very kind. Everyone was very happy with their hair and makeup. Mine lasted the ENTIRE night, even the lipstick! She is relocating to New Orleans and I would highly recommend her for any brides there!

I don't do my make-up very often and was pretty anxious about choosing a hair and make-up artist for my wedding, but I came across Christalee's work and could instantly see how talented she was. She can give a bride the most incredible natural make-up in the morning, then turn around and do full make-up for a movie shoot in the afternoon. Blows me away! Not only is Christalee insanely talented with both hair and make-up, but she is SO kind, fun, and totally lovely to be around. She put me at such ease, listened to what I wanted (and gave me options when I had no idea what I wanted), and just all-around far exceeded my expectations. She and her team also made my bridesmaids and family members look SO stunning and I loved having them around while we were getting ready. They fit in so naturally while being true professionals! Thank you, Christalee and team, for going above and beyond for me and helping to give me the wedding of my dreams. You will not regret hiring her! Christalee, with Wild Child Fabrications, did hair + make-up for myself, my bridesmaids, and my mom for my wedding last month. I’ve been waiting for my pictures to come in before I left a review so I could show how absolutely AMAZING she is!! I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us get ready for the wedding. She is insanely talented at both hair and make-up, and everyone was so happy with her work. Not only is she talented, but she is, no doubt, one of the sweetest people I have ever met in my life. If I can offer any advice to future brides, spend the money on a trained H/MU artist. Christalee did not disappoint! She's fun, bubbly and very knowledgeable with latest trends, skin types and application. My hair and makeup stayed throughout the night. She helped my plain Jane vision come to life. We had a total of 8 people, both needing hair and makeup. Christalee and her team stuck to the schedule and made us all comfortable. Highly recommend!!

Getting married during the covid pandemic was not ideal, but finding Wild-child Fabrications when my original salon plans fell through helped make my day of hair and makeup go so smoothly. Christalee and her team traveled to my venue which was outside of Pittsburgh in Mercer County and were so accommodating and fun! I’m pretty sure one of my flower girls wants to grow up to be a stylist now because she was completely enamored with watching a Christalee at work. After a pretty last minute situation with a previous hairstylist, it was pretty much fate that she responded to a Pittsburgh Wedding Community post that my SIL/bridesmaid posted trying to help me find another hairstylist.
She absolutely killed it for my trial (didn't want to change a single thing about it for the actual wedding day) and made my ladies and I look absolutely STUNNING for the day of the wedding!

Christalee is hands down the most amazing makeup artist/hair stylist in the area. This is for sure! She responds in almost no time, and she is the most flexible vendor I’ve ever worked with! We had to reschedule our wedding date with a month’s notice, and she didn’t even bat an eyelash! She offers services you won’t elsewhere, and she deals with ridiculous requests (2 trials, collarbone contouring, scar coverage, etc). Her team is amazing as well and so friendly. Definitely worth the investment!

Amazing Wedding Experience!
My sister hired Christalee for my July wedding. She was amazing. I was scared for my trial because I know almost nothing about makeup but she helped me pick out what I wanted without making me feel stupid. Day of the wedding she was super fun and went above and beyond. She did my make up which was perfect all night. I also have a scar on my back from sun damage that I forgot to bring something to cover up. She quickly came to the rescue and covered it and you couldn’t even tell it was there! She is amazing and I couldn’t have imagined anyone else doing my makeup on my big day❤️

Doing research for hair and makeup started shortly after my hair fell out after having my daughter. Insecure is just the surface of how I felt. Crista was incredible to work with. She was professional and extremely helpful. When I had my trial she went through several styles even though I was happy with the first just to make sure I saw mutliple options! Her make-up looked perfect the day of. My make-up and hair on my wedding day was absolutely perfect! I don’t wear a lot of make-up normally so I was extremely nervous but Christalee was more than kind to work with me prior to the wedding to make sure I was able to achieve the exact look I had dreamed of! I wanted to look like myself but a little more “finished”. I had tons of questions and requests and she responded promptly and kindly to them all! She even went so far as to go out and search for the shade of lip color I was requesting and even made sure she had the right foundation for my skin color. I got married on the hottest day of summer. It was 95 degrees and humid!!! It’s a brides worst nightmare. I have NO clue how she did it but my makeup and hair stayed on ALL night!!! Seriously. I was a sweaty mess by the end, but from the neck up, I looked fabulous. She was easy to get ahold of, came right to my hotel and made it a point to make sure I was happy with every part of the process. I can’t recommend her enough! My bridesmaids loved her too. Christalee saved my wedding hair!
Just 2 weeks ahead of my wedding, I found myself unhappy with the results of two trials by the first stylist I hired. Then a friend recommended Christalee as an artist who is talented, friendly, and (bonus!) specializes in the vintage pincurl look I was after. Christalee responded to my email within the hour and made special arrangements to accommodate fitting me in both for a trial and on my wedding day. I can't describe how grateful I am to have made the switch at the last minute - Christalee took great care to create the exact look I desired and it stayed in place for the whole night. She was very familiar with how to create a vintage updo (something my first stylist couldn't accomplish) and she didn't backcomb to create volume (something that always makes me cringe). At the end of the night, I took out all the pins tangle-free, and the next morning, my hair was still holding curl and looking cute!
In addition to coming to my rescue at the last minute and making me look beautiful, Christalee made everything super easy by traveling to my home for the trial and to my venue the morning of the wedding. She even gave me pointers about products and tactics for creating pincurls on my own. I trust her completely and hope I have another opportunity to hire her for both hair and makeup!
Christalee is a superstar and she's the one you want to trust with your look on your wedding day or for any other special occasion.

Truly wonderful!
Christalee was absolutely amazing!! Not only was a extremely satisfied with how my hair looked and held up throughout my entire event (which trust me was a miracle!), she was very accommodating to not only our schedule but ensuring everyone's hair looked exactly how the envisioned it! Lovely from start to finish!!
I was so worried about finding a hair and makeup artist who could accommodate my large Bridal party and who would come to the hotel to do all our hair and makeup. I could not have been more impressed or satisfied with the outcome. From the hair trial to the day of styles, communication, and friendliness Christa was wonderful to work with! I am INCREDIBLY picky about how my hair and make up looks and during the trial Christa was committed to making it look exactly how I wanted even if it meant her adjusting my lipstick shade like 7 times LOL! She was so sweet through the whole process and the day of the wedding it was so fun to have her and her team in the getting ready room with us. They were all so friendly and sweet, it made for such a light relaxed morning! Even when my wedding band got lost for a brief 10 min while I was getting my hair done Christa assured me they would find it and all would be well. She was so sweet to my family, even helping my grandma with her hair when she didn't have to!! I could not recommend her more highly, my hair looked better than the pinterest photos and my makeup was a beautiful mix between elegant and bold! If you are still debating on a hair and make up artist for your wedding day, you should stop debating and book Christa Lee I promise you won't regret it!!!

The PERFECT Hairstylist
Christalee was so flexible and nailed what both I and my bridesmaids wanted for our hair. I had a few requests after our trial and she clearly took notes because my day of hair was perfect! Let me tell you, it was WINDY and everyone's hair stayed perfect! She is fun to be around and was so easy to work with. I wish I had it in my budget for her to do my makeup too because from the pictures I have seen she does beautiful makeup work as well.

Amazing artist!
I am so lucky to have found Christalee to help out with my wedding hair and makeup! She was so responsive during the planning process, and graciously accommodating all my last minute additions! She took a few Pinterest photos and some vague wording from me (fairy, whimsical, elvish) and just nailed it! She showed up early and got my 5 bridesmaids and myself looking absolutely fabulous, all while bringing so much energy and fun along the way. The girls loved their hairstyles and I just adored my hair and makeup on my wedding day. Can't wait to share some pics!

Christalee was incredibly professional and really helpful! I was able to show her several Pinterest photos with a super vague idea of what I actually wanted, and she gave me exactly what I wanted. She did my hair and my three bridesmaids' hair, as well. She was super friendly and helped make our morning of getting ready easy and fun. My hair looked amazing and stayed in all day!

Christalee is amazing! She was responsive from the very first email I sent and was a joy to work with. She even was willing to do trial hair and makeup for me (the bride), my mom, and my maid of honor - all at various different times and different places in the area. She was diligent in getting everything exactly the way we wanted it to be and made sure we were happy. She and her team did an amazing job the day of! I felt absolutely gorgeous - natural and whimsical. I 100% recommend Christale! She's truly the best.

I was happy I chose Wild Child Fabrications to do mine and my bridesmaids hair and makeup for my wedding. We all looked beautiful and they gave us all what we wanted. Wild Child Fabrications is amazing. I had Christalee do my hair and makeup trial prior to my wedding, and she allowed me to try out a few different hairstyles and makeup shades until I found my favorite combination. If there's something you don't like, she immediately changes it until you find a style you're absolutely in love with.
On the day of my wedding, she and her associate came out to our venue in the middle of the woods to do our hair and makeup on location. In total, there were 4 of us, and they finished with plenty of time to spare! Both women were super friendly, very informative (none of us know much about makeup, and they were very forthcoming with tips and suggestions we can use for everyday situations), and our hair and makeup turned out beautifully (and exactly how we asked to have it.) I recommend Wild Child Fabrications to anyone who wants a super accommodating and extremely friendly team of hair and makeup stylists for their upcoming event, wedding or otherwise.

She was prompt and responsive as we worked out scheduling, contract and payment details. She was so much fun and so helpful at my trial-- allowed me to try multiple hair styles as I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted and also showed me several different makeup looks until I was confident we got the right combo. She was amazing on the day of the wedding as well.. showed up early and dedicated plenty of time to each of the bridesmaids and of course to me. All of the girls looked stunning! Absolutely recommend, you won't be disappointed!

I cannot recommend Christa at Wild Child Fabrications enough! She did such a wonderful job on my hair and my bridesmaids hair for my wedding. I had 8 bridesmaids, plus my mother in law and myself (10 total people!) and she got us all done in about 5 hours - it was insanely punctual and everyone was beautiful!

Amazing. I was coming from out of town and needed someone in Pittsburgh. She was super flexible, came to my mom's house outside of Pittsburgh for my trial and was so wonderful. I showed her a bunch of pictures and tried to describe what I wanted and within 20-25 minutes, it was EXACTLY what I wanted. She wants you to LOVE your hair, so she is like, "seriously - if there's a single hair out of place tell me, because I want it to be what you want" and when I was like "umm I don't love this part" we FIXED IT. And it was able to become exactly what I wanted! Quickly, easily, no drama. Obsessed. Day of the wedding everything went smoothly. I had brought new hair extensions and a new hair clip (and thereby changed what we had done the first time to a certain degree) and she just totally worked with it. I was probably being a bit of a diva with things, cause, wedding, but she was super kind and patient when I was examining everything from every single angle I could find looking for a stray thing out of place. The hairstyle lasted all night in the July heat with no frizz or flops. (I even slept on it and it was perfectly in place the next morning, no joke.) On top of all of her wonderful service, she's just a serious badass, super funny and approachable and friendly. Two thumbs way up.

Christalee did an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding! I was able to have both a hair and makeup trial so we were not scrambling on the wedding day. She also brought another artist to accommodate my 6 bridesmaids and 2 mothers! Very sweet and professional. She also did my sister’s hair/makeup for her wedding in 2019.
