I’m so glad that we booked Jason as our photographer. He’s extremely kind, sweet and accommodating!! We had to postpone our wedding twice due to Covid and Jason was very understanding. He answered all my questions and concerns, helped me with my timeline and coordinated with my other vendors. On the wedding day, I was so stressed out but Jason made everything so easy. My husband and I are both camera shy but Jason and Sara helped us relax so we could enjoy our day. My mom and my bridal party all love him. I believe having the right photographer that you can connect and feel comfortable with is so important cause he will be with you on your wedding day the whole time and you cannot go wrong with Jason. His photo package included an album, which many photographers do not offer or you have to pay extra for it. I know I wanted an album to have as a keepsake to show to my kids in the future. We cannot wait to see all photos that he and Sara captured of us. We’re beyond grateful and happy that we chose Jason as our photographer!!!

We cannot recommend Jason highly enough! From the very beginning, he took the time to listen to exactly what we wanted and tailored everything to our preferences. When showing us sample albums, he specifically selected examples that matched the colorful, vibrant style we loved rather than the more muted or monotone editing styles that weren't our preference.
One of the things that stood out most was his communication. He answered every call, email, and question promptly, and we never once had concerns about response times. He also went above and beyond by visiting our venue with us for a walkthrough, helping us visualize the day and plan photo locations in advance.
Jason created detailed timelines for us, which made the planning process so much easier. He truly did the heavy lifting, providing drafts for us to review and adjust as our wedding day approached. His organization and attention to detail helped make the entire experience stress-free.
He also listened carefully to my husband's request to have a female photographer as part of the team and made sure that happened, which meant a lot to us. It's clear that he genuinely cares about his clients and wants them to feel comfortable.
Another huge bonus is that one of his packages includes a wedding album, which many photographers do not offer. That added value was a major factor in our decision and something we greatly appreciated.
On the wedding day itself, Jason worked seamlessly with our videographer, ensuring everything flowed smoothly without anyone getting in each other's way. His professionalism, responsiveness, flexibility, and dedication to his clients made him an absolute pleasure to work with.

Blown away by Jason's work! We interviewed quite a few photographers and Jason's demeanor was what won us over from the start. Genuine, professional, and so thoughtful/intention with his work. This is the kind of guy you want to hire for your event but also go get a beer with after - just overall fantastic person. You can tell he invests his time into your event and brings up excellent suggestions to ensure you get the best photos captured. Huge bonus for getting stunning shots for an evening wedding - I was worried it would be too dark after sunset but he does phenomenal night photos as well. Could not be happier with our engagement and wedding photos. Very reasonable pricing as well! Would hire Jason and his 2nd photographer again in a heartbeat!

Our Wedding Day
After 20 calls (literally) and 2 cancellations, Jason Wilbur was the one who kept to his word to take our pictures and commit to our date. We were down to a 2 week nerve racking deadline in finding a photographer and somehow we found Jason. He was always polite and professional in dealing with our numerous calls regarding our questions & concerns. We are so happy with our pictures and so very happy Jason was our guy. He made us feel special and the pictures show our memorable occasion. We totally appreciated all is efforts to make our pictures wonderful. He arrived on time and was so helpful through this whole process, making us laugh and feel comfortable. I have a memory of him diving to the ground in the sand to take our picture I thought wow what dedication - he did not want to miss the moment. If you are looking for a photographer to take your wedding pictures Jason is the guy you want. He is personable, friendly, accommodating and great at his profession. Thank you so much Jason!!!

Jason was a pleasure to work with and I would highly recommend anyone looking for a wedding photographer. I liked that he was really flexible with our wants and needs; being able to split up our photo coverage before the big day really made the wedding day so much calmer and less stressful. I don’t know how he does it but once the party got started he was there for everything that went down. I didn’t even notice him either during the ceremony, he was so quick and knew the exact spots to shoot from but the candid photos came out amazing. I also appreciate his quick turn around, my married friends were so jealous at how quick we got our photos back. Thank you Jason for a capturing our big day!

I interviewed lots of photographers and from the start Jason made me feel very comfortable! He is not only a great guy but is super organized! He was amazing in helping me plan a schedule for the photos on the day of the wedding. Wonderful photographer that helped us capture our bug day perfectly!
Jason was wonderful to work with! On our initial call with him, we felt his energy would be a good match for us. He explained his packages well and was upfront about the costs. Up to our event, he was quick to email back and set up the perfect shot list for the big day, making sure we covered all the images we wanted to capture day of.
On the big day, he made us feel so comfortable, especially as my husband can be a bit awkward and nervous about photos. He prompted us with poses well and helped us capture the day so beautifully.
Post-wedding, we received so many wonderful images, and it took us a long time to whittle them down to our top picks! He stayed positive and helpful throughout the photo edits and album creation, explaining the upgrades we could make and never pressuring us into them.

Fabulous Engagement/Wedding Photographer
When we decided to have a destination wedding, we worked closely with our venue for vendor recommendations, and luckily, they sent us Jason’s name! We later discovered that another couple we know had also hired Jason for their wedding photos, which were absolutely stunning.
We first met Jason during our engagement photoshoot, where he took us to Balboa Park and Sunset Cliffs to create a truly magical experience. He made the entire session fun and comfortable, and to this day, our engagement photos remain some of my favorite pictures of the two of us.
On our wedding day, Jason captured all the important moments with us, our family, and friends, while also giving us the space to share private moments together. Jason truly knocked it out of the park, and we couldn’t recommend him more to anyone looking for an incredible photographer!

We are so glad we hired Jason to photograph our wedding day! He had photographed my brother's wedding so we already knew we were going to love his shooting style. From our initial phone call Jason made it a point to get to know us as a couple and what we were looking for on our wedding day. Jason was very communicative throughout the entire time leading up to our wedding helping answer any question and developing a detailed wedding timeline to ensure the best photos were captured while still allowing us to enjoy our wedding day. He even makes an effort to familiarize himself with the venue before the event since he had yet to shoot there. His years of experience in weddings was apparent and he is very organized, professional, kind, funny and goes above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly and on time. He even offered to transport my wedding dress from the getting ready location to the venue to prevent it from getting wrinkled. Jason and his assistant Janice were truly a pleasure to work with and were able to capture the happiness and joy of our wedding day. Our photographs turned out amazing and we received so many wonderful compliments. It was difficult to narrow down our favorites so we ended up adding way more pages to our beautiful wedding album. Jason and his second photographer Nikko were kind and professional. On the wedding day, they showed up on time, ready to go, and were super personable with the wedding party and our families. He was especially helpful with our 2-year-old flower girl and got her to smile in photos. They also helped us stay on track with our timeline. If it weren't for them, we totally would have forgotten to cut the cake.

Phenomonal photo experience
Working with Jason was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Right off the bat, he struck us as experienced, friendly and patient - answering all of our questions thoughtfully and quickly. He even worked with us to photograph a "field day" of camp games we had before the Olympics, and delivered us some priceless memories well outside the normal wedding repertoire. Then, come wedding day, he captured all the right moments - prompting us to make sure the photos looked great, but otherwise being unobtrusive. I am truly obsessed with his photos of our ceremony, and many guests noted he was pleasant and fun to be around as well. Jason with wilbur studios was absolutely amazing to work with. He was very professional and reasonably priced for a very high quality of work. Jason has a way of making you feel comfortable which was a top priority of mine when choosing vendors who would be surrounding me on one of the biggest days of my life. He did a good job of giving instructions on more natural “poses” but also capturing those candid moments that are some of our favorite wedding photos. We had a really good time letting loose while he was taking our couple photos. He also got our sneak peak photos back to us very quickly which was a fun surprise on our honeymoon. He got the full gallery back to us in a very timely manner as well. I would use wilbur studios again down the road for any photography needs. After the experience that I have had working with wilbur studios, I highly recommend choosing them as your photography vendor for your big day.

Great Experience, Wonderful Photos
It was an absolute pleasure working with Jason for our wedding photography. He and his assistant were friendly, helpful, and professional, and they took an excellent set of pictures at our wedding, engagement shoot, and post-wedding photoshoot. He kept things organized without being intrusive, and had a great sense for how to arrange the formal shots and how to capture great candids. The photos look amazing, especially after the touch-ups that he includes. Jason went above and beyond on the day of the wedding, staying an extra hour longer than he had to in order to get some final shots of the reception, which we really appreciated. In addition, the engagement shoot was a great chance to get acquainted, and I'm really glad that he included it in the wedding package. Jason did an AMAZING job!!! Him and his team did a great job capturing our day perfectly. He had a super fast turn around time as well, amazing photo quality and so many photos to choose from! His communication was very good as well. Throughout the whole process he was always available to chat (coming from a type A bride who had a 5in binder of their wedding). Could not recommend more!!

Above and Beyond our wildest dreams!
Jason went above and beyond for us for our special 2 days of our wedding and celebration. Not only did he work his schedule around our 2 evenings, but captured things I never saw because I was so busy with guests. We were able to get a few photo's in advance and they were beyond our expectations and got so many beautiful comments at our reception. He captured such a gorgeous photo of us with the San Diego Skyline in the back that is just mind blowing and when we got our final photos I knew they would be amazing. Thank you Jason and your team for capturing our wedding and giving us those lasting photos of such a magical moment in our life!

Arguably the best decision we made for our entire wedding was to hire Jason! Jason was the clear choice for us for our wedding photographer after the first phone call. He was extremely easy to talk to, answered all of our questions, and was understanding of our concerns. We are both fairly camera shy and he made us (and our wedding party) feel so comfortable, and made the entire process so easy.
He took the time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted and captured the day perfectly. Everything from the portraits to the candids were flawless and told the story of our day from start to finish.
The photographer is really the leader of the day’s timeline and is with you the whole time—I didn’t realize how important it was to have the same perspective and feel comfortable with them until the big day, and we couldn’t have made a better choice. We are so grateful to have had such a wonderful and talented person there to document the best day of our lives!

Jason captured our day beautifully and perfectly! He is the epitome of professionalism. He made a point to get to know us before our wedding, met with us to go over different shots and ideas, and he was so easy to work with. We had a lot of family shots and he advised us on the best way to get all the shots we wanted during our wedding timeline. Exceptional Photos
Choosing Jason and his team to shoot our wedding was the best decision we made for our big day! From our first meeting with Jason, and throughout the entire process, he made us feel comfortable. He paid attention to all of the details, even the little ones, and assured us that he would capture all of the moments that were important to us. His detailed timeline put me at ease knowing that he knew where to be at all times as to not miss a beat. Great Engagement photos!
It took us a long time to decide which photographer to use for our engagement photos. We researched dozens of photographers and reached out to a few. Jason responded really quick within a day. We really loved how his photos were, rich in color, sharp and clear focused scenery shots, beautiful close ups. After some back and forth in emails, we were impressed with his research, suggestions, and availability to meet our schedule, we decided he was the one!
We chatted on the phone and he really wanted to know the story of us, which I really appreciated. Super considerate in everything he does from meeting us in our remote proposal spot and keeping a look out for parking before we got there! We definitely enjoyed working with Jason.
We would've have booked him for our wedding as well, but he was already booked for our wedding day, so we settled on getting our engagement photos done with him. Bummer for us! Thank you Jason for the beautiful photos!

We met Jason at a wedding mixer at the Bali Hai and we knew right away that he would be the perfect fit for what we were looking for in our wedding photographer. We loved the look of all of his photos from previous weddings he had done. Throughout the whole process leading up to the wedding he was very responsive and we truly enjoyed working with him. He helped out in many other ways as well such as giving valuable input on our wedding day timeline. He was a big part in how smoothly the day of our wedding went. Jason was an AMAZING photographer and we are so glad we chose him shoot such a special day in our lives. From our first initial phone call, we knew he was the right fit for us. Jason is extremely professional, kind and makes the whole photo process such a breeze. We took engagement photos a few months prior to our wedding, which was helpful to ensure comfort level and gave us a preview into just how amazing of a photographer he is! We are so glad we went with Wilbur Studios for our big day. You always want a photographer that you enjoy as a person since they are there with you during one of the biggest days of your life -- Jason is exactly that. He's not only a cool guy, but his photography is simply beautiful. Jason came as a recommendation from family. He had been the photographer at their wedding. We wouldn’t have gone with anyone else! Not only are his photos amazing, but he is so easy going, great to work with, and reliable. Our engagement photos were beautiful, and the turn around was so quick! Awesome photography and really great guy
I found Wilbur Studious (Jason) through a wedding website and reviewed his portfolio and was very impressed. His understanding of how to take a gorgeous picture in complicated lighting situations is incredible. It also helps that he is an expert in getting his subjects in the right poses to take flattering pictures.
As a casual photographer I knew that having two lenses at the wedding was going to be a must, since the likelihood of getting a good shot doubles with two photographers. As a bonus the package that we ordered included an engagement session as well.
Jason was well organized, and very knowledgeable about helping us plan the order of events for the day to take advantage of the lighting for pictures. He really helped us put together a schedule that made the most sense based on the venue timing, and getting great pictures.
On the day of, him and his second lens Ryan showed up early to meet us. My wife says that Jason did a great job during the getting ready parts for her. Ryan his second lens did a really great job with the groomsmen and me, he even helped tie my tie.
One thing I hadn't realized until actually getting married is that on the day of your wedding, you will likely be having conversations with your photographer more so than anyone else that day. We can definitely say that we enjoyed spending a lot of time with Jason and Ryan during our wedding day. They are both really personable and calming people.
They also did a really great job helping advise us on scheduling things during the wedding and helping us stay pretty close to our planned timeline. Which really took a lot of the pressure off of the bride and myself to just enjoy the day.
Wilbur Studios provides excellent photography services at a very reasonable price. When it comes to wedding photography you definitely want to hire someone with a lot of experience, and fit that experience into your budget.

Talented photographer and all around good guy
Jason was seriously one of the best decisions we made throughout our entire wedding planning process. Not only is he super chill and easy to get along with, making the process completely nerve free, but he's beyond professional and very hands on from start to finish. From the first time we spoke with him, to the day of the wedding, we felt like we were in great hands and that's exactly who you want on your team during the craziness of your wedding day. What attracted us to him was his impressive skills and the quality of work in his photography, however, as a bonus, we were beyond impressed by how much direction and organization he had. As someone with high organization skills already, having someone that walked us through everything and made the best decisions for our day with us from the timeline, to pose direction, to various tips from his experience with weddings truly made our experience an amazing one. Our photos came out beautifully, quickly, and his website access is highly efficient. We love love love the quality of his photos and the editing he did. So many of our guests complimented his photo booth and the high quality of those photos as well. His assistants were professional and friendly making the day go by smoothly. Jason and his assistant, Ryan were awesome. Our pictures are gorgeous and we got them weeks after the wedding. My bridesmaids loved taking pre-wedding photos and said they were the nicest photographers they had worked with and didn't make us do any awkward poses or stress anyone out by taking over the moment or rushing us. My parents said the family photo process was super seamless and quick and the photographers knew exactly what they were doing and what shots they wanted. You have to spend most of your wedding day with your photographer so you definitely want someone who you get along with and don't mind having around. Jason and Ryan were awesome!

He helped with pre-event planning over the phone and by email so there were no questions or concerns leading up to the day. He was friendly, affordable, and most importantly - did great work! Jason was great from first contact to delivering our wedding album and photos. Picking a photographer is tough with so many choices out there, but Jason is a great choice as he has experience in both videography and photography which allows him to capture things in ways other photographers might not. Everything was done professionally and we are happy with our photos.

Jason was amazing! He made us feel very comfortable on the day of the wedding and during our engagement photo session.
We met with a couple photographers before we decided on him, and we thought he would be the best person to handle our crazy family and friends. He is flexible and rolls with the punches! He was super helpful the day of the wedding.
He was always quick to respond and we LOVE our photos!
I would definitively suggest him to everyone. For us - it was important to have a photographer that I was going to be comfortable around all day and when I was getting ready, and there was not a moment when I felt uncomfortable.

We highly recommend Jason! He was very professional from the beginning to the end of our engagement photo session. He communicated well on how to prepare for the photos and was very timely with getting back to us when we had questions. On the day of, he was very easy to work with and made us comfortable. The photos turned out amazing!

If we had to pick one word to discribe our experience with Jason it would be perfect! From start to finish Jason was amazing, and very helpful in the planning and execution of the entire day. His pictures are amazing, we are so happy with them and the album he created for us helps us relive the most amazing day of our lives! Starting from our first meeting with Jason Wilbur all the way to our wedding day we experienced his professionalism, preparedness, clear communication, and his positive and proactive attitude! Jason’s communication is impeccable and you know you are in good hands with him! On our wedding day, Jason was in constant communication with us. When I set out to find a wedding photographer, I knew that this was an incredibly important decision because my wedding photos will help me relive my wedding day for many years to come. I can happily say that I am so glad I found Jason! When I first came across his website, I immediately loved his work and hoped he was available for my wedding day. I was in luck! I got such a great vibe from him from our first phone conversation. I was nervous to take our engagement photos (not a big fan of taking pictures), but I knew after our session that I would feel confident and comfortable on the big day. He helped me and my husband relax and have a good time; he really has an eye for capturing the fun and laughter we share along with the beautiful landscape. Not only does he take fantastic pictures, he was so incredibly easygoing and was always quick to answer any of my questions. I can't even put into words the gorgeous photos we got back from Jason shooting our engagement and wedding photos. He was so flexible meeting us when we needed to, visiting the ceremony/ reception site with us so he could get a feel for the area/ help us decide where everything should face to get the best photos. He is professional. And so friendly you feel like your with a friend not a strager which makes taking your photos way easier. He has such a creative mind to get great pictures of all the elements on your big day. I am so happy that we locked him down for our wedding because we now have gorgeous photos to go with our lasting memories.

If you've been stressing over trying to find an amazing photographer, have no fear. Your search is over. I must have emailed at least 20 different photographers and interviewed about 6 before I looked Jason up. He is very professional, but also really laid back and friendly, which is something that's hard to find. He was so accommodating to what we needed for our package and he even came all the way to Carlsbad to shoot our engagements, which was definitely out of his way. Not only did he shoot amazing photos, he created a timeline for us for the day of the wedding so every one knew where they needed to be at what time. This allowed us to enjoy our time leading up to the wedding without having to worry about coordinating everyone. Another thing.. Jason had never shot at our wedding location before so he made sure to schedule a walk through with us before the wedding. We picked out the spots we wanted to shoot since the garden was quite large. This was very helpful in that we avoided having to roam the gardens the day of trying to find a spot we liked. So on top of all the positives I've mentioned, his prices were too good to pass up. Plus the quality??? Forget about it! Jason was the absolute BEST and I am forever thankful for him beautifully capturing our day.

I was an AZ bride having a destination wedding so I was very nervous about planning a wedding out of state, but I didn't have to worry about a single thing when it came to Jason. I could tell from the moment I met him that I could trust him! I was very nervous for engagement pictures because I had never really been in front of a camera like that before, but Jason got us to let loose and by the end of the session I was more than ready for wedding pictures! On our wedding day he was early and ready to start. He did such a fantastic job. Even my family noticed and two weeks later are still raving about him. We used Jason for our engagement photos and we can't say enough good things about Jason! Jason made us feel very comfortable from the get go and clearly knew his stuff. It is going to be a real struggle to pick out our favorites, all of the photos are all amazing. My fiancé is stationed in California, but I do not live there so it was a little nerve-wracking hiring someone I never me but Jason was always very responsive and made us feel totally comfortable. I honestly do not think we could have gone with anyone better!

We had an amazing experience with Jason from Wilbur Studios. We came across Jason on TheKnot.com. We are from NJ, but we wanted to schedule an engagement photo session while on vacation in San Diego. Leading up to the session, Jason was easy to communicate with and took the time to get to know us. During the shoot, he made us feel comfortable and choreographed the shots quickly and with ease. Wilbur Studios is one of the best in the business and does not disappoint. Hiring Jason as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He is extremely professional yet personable. Jason’s friendliness and humor really sets him apart from other photographers. He makes you feel like an old friend is taking your photos. He truly knows how to make you feel comfortable in all of the pictures whether it’s just the engagement shoot or your big day!
From the moment we hired Jason as our photographer, we knew that he would be a great fit for us. He was always quick to respond to any e-mails or phone calls we had. Jason was also really helpful in coordinating all of the photo sessions and was accommodating to our busy schedules. As you can see from the examples on his website, Jason’s work speaks for itself. He has a natural talent and a great eye. Everything he shoots looks outstanding no matter what he’s photographing. As for our wedding, the pictures turned out absolutely fantastic! He also provided the photos with a really quick turnaround. Compared to other photographers we’ve heard about, Jason is like Michael Phelps. Super fast and high quality. For the price we paid for everything we almost feel like we were stealing from Jason. All in all, we cannot recommend Wilbur Studios enough. Thanks Jason for helping to capture our special day!

Jason was an amazing photographer and person to work with. He made me and my husband feel very calm on the day of our wedding.
In the lead up to the wedding, he was in contact with me to help determine a timeline such that we could best make use of our time. We worked together to put together a list of photos we wanted, and he made sure he got all of those day of, and made it run very smoothly so everyone knew what they were supposed to be doing. I felt that he was always available to answer questions.
What really impressed me was that in the day before the wedding, we were dropping off our final pieces at the ceremony and reception location - Jason was there staking out the best locations for photos and figuring out where to do our giant family photos.
Both my husband and I were impressed by his professionalism and the quality of his work. He did not only the pictures we asked for, but also some 'fancy' ones later on in the evening that he had a vision for, and when we saw them they turned out beautifully.
We were very happy with Jason in the lead up to the wedding, during the wedding and reception, and the quality of his work and how quickly he delivered after the fact!

Working with Jason for our wedding photography was a breeze! As someone who cares a lot about pictures, it was so wonderful to have a photographer who was super flexible and dedicated to making sure we got the look we wanted. He showed us samples from other weddings and was open to images I'd seen on Pinterest or other weddings. After our engagement session, we realized that we're not supermodels and don't know how to pose, so he ensured that on our wedding day the second photographer would look out for slumped shoulders and such. It is wonderful to be able to just relax on your wedding day because you can trust Jason to take photos that will look great! His pricing was very reasonable considering we wanted 2 photographers for 8 hours, and engagement session, and a wedding album. On top of that, his customer service was awesome! He met with us multiple times in person as well as at our venue to plan some shots. He's super responsive to emails and phone calls, and we got our pictures within weeks of our wedding!

I couldnt have asked for a better experience. Working with Jason was a breeze. He managed to keep everyone calm and even caught up time during our first-look when we had fallen behind on schedule. Jason was our photographer all the way from our proposal to our wedding and was nothing short of professional and personable the entire time. He was willing to travel for us - even driving from San Diego to Orange County beforehand to scout out the church - and was flexible in adapting to the impromptu changes in timeline on the day of.
We enjoy his bright, clean style of photography. Jason is very creative with his use of space and light, one time stopping us to take a photo in an alleyway we were just walking through to get to our next location (we used that photo for our programs). He seeks to capture the personalities of his clients as well as composing unique pictures asking for personal touches when possible. Jason's flexibility extends beyond the photo shoot: when we realized we missed a shot we wanted for our album, Jason was willing to take another photo at our friends' wedding, where he was also their photographer.
We highly recommend his services to anyone looking for affordable and easy to work with photographers in the San Diego area.

My fiancé and I are from Toronto. When we got engaged we decided to plan a trip to San Diego during the holidays. Our biggest concern was trying to find a trustworthy and amazing photographer. When we came across Jason's photos we immediately were drawn to them. When we contacted him, he was very accommodating and even recommended hotels and places to visit in the area. Once we arrived to our shoot location, we became increasingly excited. Jason had managed to scout a location perfectly in line with the what we had envisioned. We met Jason there, where he stood with not one, but 2 cameras and a nifty accessory belt to hold his equipment for the photo shoot. We were greeted by a friendly smile and an inspired manner. Jason was very friendly, easy going, and helped quickly take away the awkwardness of being photographed. Within minutes he was able to capture incredible photographs that blew away our expectations. We were stunned by the shots he had quickly shown us, and we're happy to follow his vision for the rest of the shoot. Within a week of taking our photos, Jason had managed to set up an entire website with very high quality shots. We have to say we were more than pleased with Jason and the photos speak for themselves, he did an incredible job.

Wilbur Studios is by far my favorite vendor of all. I first came across their work while browsing on Facebook. Not only did they have a unique look and keen eye but they were professional and pristine. I pride myself in providing excellent customer service at my personal job and it was refreshing to find Wilbur Studios went above and beyond just like myself. I felt completely at ease and comfortable before, during, and after my wedding. I would highly recommend Wilbur Studios to all newly-engaged couples :)
Beware of other companies unfortunately while doing my research I found many that were not able to produce what they were promising. Be sure to ask questions!

We chose Jason as our wedding photographer, and couldn't have been happier with our choice. He was great to work with, easy to get in touch with, and really took the time on the day of our wedding to make sure that he was capturing both the shots we wanted, as well as the ones we didn't even know we'd want.
One thing that was important to us was candid shots, both of the wedding party and of our guests. Jason heard this during planning, brought it back up during the pre-wedding walkthrough, and delivered on this with the final photos. He earned top marks for service in our book!
Another thing that we _really_ appreciated was that Jason was able to manage the crowds for the formal photography. We had large groups of relatives that needed wrangling for post-ceremony photos, and he made sure that the photos had the right people, and that everyone in them was posed well.

My husband and I made the perfect choice choosing Wilbur Studios to do our wedding photos !! We just got our photos back and loved the entire album!! Jason and Richard were so creative and paid so much attention to detail. They really took care of us on our wedding day. Whether it was shading me from the sun or bringing us water in between shots.( It was a 100 degree day on our wedding) We met with Jason about a month before our big day at our church ceremony site and at our reception site. He walked around and scouted possible places to take pictures. Which made the day of the wedding go so smoothly. He even has an app that told him where the sun (for lighting) would be on the day and time of our wedding!! Do yourself a favor and hire Wilbur Studios! You won't be disappointed! Jason and Richard have such a friendly personality and are very professional! Thank you Jason for everything! Truly talented and amazing to work with!!

When looking for a photographer for our wedding, the most important thing to me was to find someone who truly captured the emotion of the best day of our lives. That is exactly what we got from Jason’s BEAUTIFUL pictures! Jason is such a genuine person who absolutely adores his job! He is passionate and wants the best photos possible for you. I have to admit, my husband really didn’t want to do engagement photos. However, Jason explained to us that it would be good practice for the wedding day. I am sooo happy we took his advice! After the engagement shoot with Jason, the wedding was a breeze. He really makes you feel comfortable and it truly makes a difference in your photos. I have to say Jason actually made taking photos fun! He really works his magic and can give just the right direction to make all the difference. He has an eye for lighting and angles. I was truly blown away when I saw our wedding photos. They are absolutely perfect! I would recommend Jason to anyone and everyone. You must take a look at his site- his works speaks for itself!

Jason was nothing but great from beginning to end. We really liked the photos on his website and are so happy we picked him after sitting down with 5 different photographers. He was very quick in getting back to us every time we reached out and even gave us his phone # so we could text him if we wanted to. He spent extra time with us for our engagement session to get just the right light and we've received countless compliments on those and our wedding photos. His turnaround time after each session was very fast and the photos were impressive time and again. Jason is very professional and efficient, yet extremely personable and someone we loved having with us throughout our wedding day. We highly recommend him for your special day.

We are so happy we had Jason as a photographer. He was professional from the beginning and the photos were brilliant!
Most importantly, he handled an unfortunate situation regarding the contracting photography company for our particular wedding. He did the right thing in a situation that was very unfair to him, and nothing is more important than integrity. If you want creative, quality, professional photography, hire Wilbur Studios!

Jason is an amazingly talented artist. He took our engagement photos and we were literally blown away with the end results. We had a vision for the shoot which was a bit complicated, but Jason worked with us from conception to completion with fantastic creative input and a positive attitude. We're having a destination wedding so wanted a bit of a travel theme for our engagement shots. From the beginning, he helped identify great ideas for local venues as well as a great variety of shots and poses. We settled on a private hanger with many vintage aircraft for our backdrop. Jason worked within all the tricky parameters the venue presented - including limited natural lighting, unforeseen wind, manually moving various aircraft to get 'THE shot' - and even working with our hyper puppy who joined us for the shoot. He was incredibly patient, made us feel very comfortable and guided us throughout the entire process. We absolutely LOVE our photos and had such a difficult time picking just one that we ended up designing another piece of our save-the-dates so we could include two images! In a nutshell, I'd highly recommend Jason/Wilbur Studios to any couple or person in need of a photoshoot. His professionalism, expert detailed eye and easy-going, upbeat demeanor surely won't disappoint!
