The Whole Heart team did such an amazing incredible job, we are awestruck! Niko and Daniel were so great to work with on the day of, and Ben did such a fabulous job editing all of the videos! We had an amazing experience with Whole Heart. Something that was very important to us for the day was that the cameras wouldn't feel in the way or be blocking the view for our guests, and we weren't sure that we'd even be able to get a quality video with that constraint, but Ben and then team TOTALLY delivered! I feel like they caught not only the events themselves but the atmosphere on the day, and the lighting and quality are just beautiful. Ben went above and beyond with edit requests (for example, subbing in original audio for where our band flubbed our wedding song) and was timely and clear with communication. So happy to have worked with this team! -

Everything related to Whole Hearted Video went easily and smoothly. Communicating initially with Ben was a breeze, Niko the videographer was awesome to have around us at the wedding and was there for any important moment, and finally Ben's edits were top notch - capturing funny and viral moments. Multiple people have now cried watching our wedding videos. Highly recommend! -

From start to finish, Whole Heart Video was easy and a pleasure to work with. We had 2 videographers on our wedding day who caught all of the big and little things. They never "got in the way" and in fact, we barely knew they were there. The video's came back in a timely fashion and we were blown away!!! We could not have asked for anything more. Now we can look back on these video's for the rest of our lives as a way for us to remember the best day ever! HIGHLY RECOMMEND hiring Whole Heart Video to capture your special day. -

Ben did a phenomenal job of capturing video footage of our ceremony, reception, and special moments in between. He blended right in with the party, and I never felt as though he was up in my face in an attempt to get footage. He was goofy, friendly, and fun throughout the entire day, and he also was extremely flexible with our ever-changing COVID wedding plans. We just received our videos this week and were moved to tears at how phenomenal they are. We will cherish Ben's work for the rest of our lives. Thanks, Ben! There's a lot that goes into wedding planning, that's no secret. One of the most difficult junctions of the planning process is deciding your budget and figuring out which vendors are most critical to your big day. For me, the most important thing was capturing every beautiful moment - that's where Ben with Whole Heart Video came in. I could shout this from the mountain tops - if you're considering hiring a videographer, look no further. Whole Heart Video was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Ben was extremely communicative. With the pandemic we, like so many others, were forced to reschedule our big day... 3 times! He helped us navigate through the stress of rescheduling and continued to encourage us. I had never met Ben face to face but something about him was calming and I felt at ease knowing the task of capturing the big day was in his hands. Let's cut to the actual day - incredible doesn't cut it. Ben came to video my bridesmaids and I the morning of and added so much fun to the day! I speak for my entire crew when I say we felt so comfortable in front of the camera. Ben did such a great job of working hand-in-hand with my photographer - he got so many smiles and candid moments. I'm not super comfortable in front of the camera but I know it was Ben who helped me get there and I was able to *live my best life* without worrying about anything. My husband and I recently got our highlight video back and it was everything I'd hoped it would be. Our day was PERFECTLY captured. When you're in the moment it's hard to hold onto every moment because everything is so overwhelming. What Ben put together for us, knowing all the hours he spent planning and editing, was just so incredibly special. I think it's important to really vibe with your vendors leading up to the wedding and especially on the big day and I would now consider Ben a friend. That's the cherry on top of the incredible videos he curated. I would've always regretted not hiring a videographer for our wedding day, but luckily we hired the best one EVER and I'm so grateful to have met and worked with Ben. Don't look back with regrets - hire Whole Heart Video -

Ben was fantastic to work with from start to finish. We were on the fence about having a videographer for our wedding, but Ben answered all of our questions/concerns and made us feel at ease from the beginning.
Little did we know when we booked Ben that we'd be in for the ride of our lives (aka the year that was 2020) and we had to change our plans several times as things with the pandemic continued to evolve. Ben was incredibly understanding and flexible throughout, and was quick to respond to our questions and new plans.
While our day wasn't exactly as planned, we feel so lucky we had such kind and supportive vendors like Ben to help make our day special no matter what it looked like. He truly went above and beyond our needs/asks and it was deeply appreciated. While Ben's fun to have around, you won't even realize he's there. I was worried about being distracted with having another camera or two around, but he truly makes himself disappear and still captures all of the moments. It's really impressive.
We are so happy to have our video to play back as there are so many little details that you forget or get glazed over because the day goes by so fast. I'm so happy we have this video to remember our special day. I highly recommend booking Ben. You won't regret it! -

I cannot recommend Ben highlight ENOUGH. Any bride I've spoken to that did NOT have a videographer at their wedding always lists that as her number one regret. And if you saw the video footage from my wedding, you'd understand why ;) Ben is incredibly talented and fun to work with. He was so accessible leading up to the wedding, taking calls with me to discuss all the little details and making the whole process so easy. Day of, he was just a pleasure. First of all, he's very discreet, so I hardly noticed he was there, which led to many lovely candid moments captured between not only my husband and me, but my family, friends and the bridal party, too. Our highlight reel perfectly captures the joy and sparkle of the big day (and night), and I've been watching our ceremony and reception videos on repeat. Ben is an absolute pro. He didn't just capture the magic of our wedding, but added to it. He even offered the groom his jacket when we started getting cold taking pictures outside -- in Chicago in December, no less. THANK YOU, Ben for bringing your whole heart and amazing talent to our special day. -

Ben did an incredible job capturing our wedding day. He came highly recommended to us from a family member, and upon seeing his work we knew we would be in good hands. He was detail-oriented in the process leading up to the wedding, making sure that he captured everything my husband and I wanted to remember our wedding day by. He was communicative and responded in a timely manner, and extremely reasonable in terms of pricing.
We received our highlight reel today, and let me tell you, our expectations were exceeded! The video captured everything we wanted and then some. It was sweet, heartfelt, and full of the joy we felt throughout the day. Thank you, Ben, for the perfect memento to help us remember the best day of our lives. -

I always wanted a wedding video, but my now husband was hard pressed to invest in one. That was until he saw Ben's work. Ben is so fun and talented, has a great creative eye, and really captures your day. One of our favorite parts about Ben's work was that he really involved a lot of guests and bridal party members into his videos while keeping the focus on the couple. His work did not disappoint. Right after the wedding he sent us some great stills that he captured and a few weeks later, we had our 4 minute edited video ready to go. He is affordable but worth every penny. I would definitely recommend Ben to anyone, in fact he just did video for my cousin's wedding on our recommendation. -

Video was one of our nice to have items and we finally made the decision last minute to add it onto our wedding. We found Ben through Thumbtack.com and got so lucky to work with someone who was able to give us the quality videos we wanted, the style we wanted, and within our budget. He really listens to you in terms of what you're looking for, he does great editing, and just is someone who is so easy to work with. He really made the day special for us, and helped capture the moments that we can always look back and cherish. He also brought a second videographer with him so that helped with getting all the footage we wanted.
I highly recommend working with Ben! He is amazing and definitely will get quality video! Thank you Ben!
