AMAZING design and taste!!

I’ve ordered cakes many times from Who Made the Cake and it’s always incredible. But our OU Stadium Groom’s cake was over the top amazing! Everyone was in awe at the detail of the design and it was, as always, delicious! Thank you, Nadine, for being part of our celebration and making the perfect Groom’s cake (complete with LSU fans, of course!)

Who Made the Cake truly exceeded our expectations. From the initial tasting to the final design, the team was professional, responsive, and attentive to every detail. They worked within our budget without ever compromising on quality or creativity.

Our wedding cake was absolutely stunning—beautifully designed and perfectly matched our vision. More importantly, it tasted amazing! We received so many compliments from our guests, and we couldn’t have been happier.

The value for the money was outstanding, and the professionalism of the staff made the entire process stress-free and enjoyable. We’re so grateful to have chosen Who Made the Cake for our big day and would highly recommend them to any couple looking for exceptional service and craftsmanship!

Wonderful wedding cake

We got the cake via our venue (Houston club) and are so glad we went with them. The cake flavors were amazing and all the guests kept asking for them. The entire process with them went very smoothly.

Amazingly beautiful cake!

We found Who Made The Cake from a list of Houston gay-friendly wedding vendors in Out Magazine. In researching several bakers, this one stood out. They were the closest to where I lived, with a convenient location inside the loop. Also, the designs on their website were exquisite! We settled on a dual-flavor cake: spice cake with mocha filling and a butter cake with raspberry filling, and a vanilla buttercream icing for the whole cake. All of our guests raved not only about the flavor but also the beautiful design. We couldn't have been happier!

Amazing work!

Not only did our wedding cake look amazing, it tasted absolutely delicious too! We brought several inspiration pictures to our consultation and they came up with a beautiful design that was perfectly executed on the day. We changed the flavors around closer to the date of the wedding and they were super responsive. Highly recommend!

Best cake ever!

We had no doubt when it came to picking our wedding cake who we would choose. We have been using Nadine for events for years. When my husband wanted a very specific grooms cake, she and her team flawlessly made a thought in our heads a reality. The cake tasted perfect. We had a lot of really good options and it was hard to narrow it down. This is one of the few places that really understands what a wedding cake should taste like. The bride’s cake was stunning. They really listened to what we wanted and made it better than we could imagine! The guests were talking about the cake all night and still months later talk about it. You will not regret it!!

What Perfect Tastes Like

Who Made The Cake? It's not only the name of the company, but also a question asked a million times once people tasted how wonderful the cake at our wedding was. Perfect. Simply said. "Who made the cake" should be the answer to that question whenever it's asked forever more. Never go anywhere else.

Exactly what I ordered

Our cake was exactly what I described and they were able to make edible flowers based off of what I provided in photos. Everyone asked me who made the cake and every time I answered they were questioning what I was saying until I said it again. The cake was delicious the day of. They also made sure to accommodate us when we requested extreme precaution due to a severe nut allergy in the family.

Just amazingly awesome

There are no words to describe the melt in your mouth taste of their cakes...they not only make a beautiful cake with whatever you desire it to look like, but it is also so darn delicious you should almost serve it first so everyone gets a chance to have some. I recommend this place for any occasion or even if you just feel like having the best tasting cake for no reason at all.

Delicious!

As I sit here eating the remainder of our wedding cake, (lol), I have to give this vendor 5 stars. This is the BEST wedding cake I've ever eaten, and they executed the design exactly as we requested. Beauty and taste are rare with wedding cakes, but Nadine and her staff knocked it out of the park.

Cake will never be the same

Our wedding cake was amazing. We first had one of Nadine's cakes at a friend's wedding. When we started our wedding planning we asked them which bakery they used. We setup our consultation with Nadine shortly after. She took the time to look at our inspiration pictures and drew up the perfect combination of them all. We wanted something more simple and she nailed it. It turned out perfect and of course tasted awesome. It's only been a few weeks since our wedding and I'm craving more cake! I can't recommend Who Made The Cake enough!

Love During COVID-19

Who Made the Cake did a WONDERFUL job with our wedding cake! It was beautiful and tasted SO good!
My wedding week was a bit chaotic due to COVID-19 and the daily changes and new restrictions it imposed. We even had to move our wedding up 24 hours!! While some vendors had to back out- Who Made the Cake came through! We got so many compliments on our cake and I can not thank this team enough for everything! I HIGHLY recommend for any bride/ anyone looking for a cake!

Amazing experience!

We originally booked with another bakery vendor and he closed his business abruptly without telling any of his brides/grooms. With less than 2 months away from the wedding, we reached out to Who Made The Cake and they were able to fit us in (they also heard about this horrible bakery in the news that we booked originally). The cake was amazing! We got a homemade strawberry jam with cream cheese frosting. Guest after guest told me how good the cake was! I am excited to see how our cake will taste after a year in the freezer. They delivered the cake on time and always reminded us of when payments were due. Highly professional and extremely accommodating. Nadine and her staff are so kind! Thank you so much!

Loved the cake!

The cake was beautiful. Both sides. One side had Marvel characters and the other traditional wedding cake. The flavor was really good. Raspberry. The grooms cake flavor was really good also. Chocolate. Cake people were easy to work with and very professional.

WOW! The experience from top to bottom was wonderful! Tastings at the first visit, and Nadine took my now-hubby's and my vision and made it reality! It was beautiful and oh-so delicious! We did a joint bride-groom cake, with the two white layers being delicious different white cake selections and the lavender layer being chocolate-caramel. My guests loved it! My hubs and I can't wait to enjoy our chocolate-caramel topper a year from now - YUM! Thank you Nadine! And Raven - thank you for being there for questions and clarification! Our guests can't stop talking about it!

While looking for a cake vendor, Who Made the Cake was at the top of everyone's list I talked to and now I know why. From my first interaction with them, they were so professional and answered any question I had and then some. At our tasting Nadine took the time to talk us through every aspect of the cake, and took the time to find out what we were looking for in our cakes. I had been raving to my guests about the cake since we had been to our tasting, when the cakes arrived at the venue they were better than I could have ever imagined. Our guests our still talking to us about our cakes! I would highly recommend Who Made the Cake, you will not be disappointed!

I used this vendor never having met them or been to their shop. I had never even tasted their cakes. I found them on a wedding website and they had such great reviews, I went for it for my Grooms cake. Let me say they do not disappoint! I went back and forth with Raven (the Office Manager) via email. We got my specialty cake just right. We had my Grooms Fox Body Mustang race care recreated. It was exactly like the car...awesome. I went with the red velvet (his favorite) with chocolate ganache. It was so good. They also made me some cake decorations for my brides cake (turned out to be the best part of my cake...the rest was gross). If I could do one thing over for my wedding, I would have used this bakery for both cakes...his and mine.

I can't say enough how beautiful and delicious our cake was. We booked her a year before our wedding and she delivered everything perfectly. It was way better than what we expected! We had so many tastings and they were definitely the best. The detail of our cake was amazing. Don't think about it twice and allow them to bring your wedding cake vision to life! Nadine and team were so amazing with creating our wedding cake. They delivered on time with a bit of a snafu on the color, but took the cake back immediately and came back with the exactly color. It was simply stunning and they made the process very simple and exciting.

I had a wonderful experience with who made the cake form Nadine to the staff everyone was so nice and professional. Who made the cake did my wedding cakes bride and groom and the design was everything I wanted it was absolutely beautiful. I have to admit that this was the best cake I ever I got married on September 3rd 2016 I had guest call me the very next day after the wedding wanting to know who made the cake. To this day I'm still getting phone calls about how good, fresh and beautiful my cakes were. I highly recommend Who Made the cake. A big thanks to Who Made the Cake!

Who Made the Cake created the most beautiful and delicious cake for my wedding. In addition, Nadine and her staff were very creative in designing six mini cakes to celebrate each of our children during our celebration. We just had our wedding in November of 2016 and our wedding cake was amazingly beautiful! Although we did spend a fortune, I have to admit that everything was so worth it. As the MOB, I was delighted with Nadine's customer service techniques to assist my daughter in deciding the design for her bride's cake. We had participated in cake tasting with several other bakeries, but none compared to Nadine. Her attention to the bride's selected decor and vision was amazing. And, we were all most impressed with her willingness to help hone and refine a Groom's cake that reflected the home of memories of the groom, who is from the UK. Although cake flavors and filling choices were made months before the wedding, Jess and Ash were able to visit and refine their selections a couple of weeks before wedding day. I remembered my SIL coming into the bride's room with her cell phone to show photos after the cakes were set-up. The response was, "OMG, she nailed it!" Then the entire room cheered! Thanks for sharing our joy by sharing your amazing talents!

Who Mad the Cake did an INCREDIBLE job on our wedding cakes! We tasted cakes at multiple cake shops around Houston, but Who Made the Cake was far and away the yummiest cake we tried, so we knew immediately that they were the one! The cakes (we had both a Bride's cake and a Groom's cake) turned out exactly as we had described and were just as delicious at the wedding as when we went to the tasting. We picked Red Velvet for the Groom's cake and even though we didn't have the chance to taste it before the wedding, we trusted that it would be just as great as the other flavors and it definitely did not disappoint! We had multiple guests tell us that the cake was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted!! We saved the top in the freezer and can't wait to pull it out again next year for our anniversary! HIGHLY recommend!

We travelled all over the greater Houston area looking for a cake person. I avoided Who Made the Cake at first because I figured she would be too expensive and her cake wouldn't taste good. After searching everywhere and being dissatisfied by about 7 bakeries I decided to give Nadine a try. She was professional and the cake tasted amazing. I had ideas about what I wanted in a cake but couldn't really pinpoint what I wanted it to look like. I gave her all my ideas and she said "let me draw you something." She showed me what she had drawn and it was perfect. It was exactly what I wanted. Right then I knew I would book her because she was an artist and could envision things. The cake was Amazing and My cake and my husband's cake were beautiful. My husband's cake was the shape of Texas and it actually looked like Texas. Nadine and Who Made the Cake went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding cake. My mother-in-law, her sister, and myself went to the tasting, since my husband was on duty at Fort Benning. Nadine and her staff had prepped three sample plates for us and talked us through each cake, frosting, and ganache. Nadine also sketched out my cake and our groom's cake (a replica of an Isopure protein powder container) while we were there. She went into such detail with the groom's cake, even to verify which protein flavor was my husband's favorite, so she could print a picture of it from their website.

When my husband was able to come home for Thanksgiving (a month before our wedding), he really wanted to try our cakes. Nadine and her staff not only prepared the flavor combinations I had chosen, but also included all of the others, just to make sure he liked them as well.

They are truly excellent. You won't regret it!

Who Made the Cake created my wedding cake on June 13, 2015. I chose a non-traditional wedding cake, and opted for a whimsical design that matched my wedding colors. I simply presented a concept to Who Made the Cake based on a photo I found on pinterest, and WMTC put their own spin on it and created a cake that was simply amazing.

I was hesitant to do a fondant. In fact, going into my meeting at WMTC I was set on Butter Cream. My experience with fondant by other bakers, had just been yuck - tasting more like rubber than icing! When I went to my tasting and I tasted Nadine's fondant I had to have it. Who Made the Cake has mastered fondant and made me a fondant believer!

The price point for the cake was competitive and never felt like WMTC was nickel& diming me. Their price was their price, which was not the case with other cake vendors that I interviewed.

The only thing that I wish WMTC did that other vendors seemed to offer is a one year anniversary re-creation cake top layer. I have my cake top in my freezer, but I've always heard that the year later cake is never eatable. WMTC's cake may be the exception to all the rumors. I'll let you know in a year!

I wish this site had a place to upload my cake photos because the cake in the Mark's American Cuisine venue was gorgeous. I got so many compliments with guests saying my cake was a "Work of Art!". It tasted just as good as it looked!.

Our wedding cakes were phenomenal! I immediately fell in love with Nadine at our cake tasting! The cakes that we tasted were absolutely divine! I had the traditional white wedding cake with vanilla filling and the amaretto butter cream frosting! I can easily say that it was the best cake I had ever tasted! And to top it off, it was absolutely gorgeous! The frosting was designed to look as if the cake was covered in lace. The grooms cake was equally as good! We had an all chocolate cake with chocolate icing. It had a Texans baseball hat on top of the cake! It looked so good I almost felt guilty cutting in to it...almost...it was hands down delicious! Everyone at our wedding raved about how good the cakes were. We even had to go boxes so that guests could take home a piece of cake...and they did! We had next to no cake left over after the wedding! They delivered the cake to our wedding venue on time, and everything was absolutely perfect! I would HIGHLY recommend Who Made The Cake!

My mom and I are obsessed with wedding cake--for us, it's one of the highlights of a wedding, and nothing is worse than a beautiful cake that doesn't taste very good. As a result, finding a delicious cake was a top priority when choosing vendors. Who Made the Cake had such a reputation for over-the-top, fancy cakes, so I assumed they would be out of our budget, but for the simple design I wanted, they were actually less expensive than some of the other places we looked into. The consultation was a little tricky to schedule, but Nadine was great, and we were so happy with our wedding cake and grooms cake. Both looked exactly like we wanted, and most importantly, they were the most moist delicious cake we had ever had. The buttercream was perfect, just the right sweetness without the weird flavor that some wedding cakes have. I wish we had more leftovers--it was so good!

Nadine worked with my daughter to come up with her cake design. The cakes were beautiful, very delicious, and our guests commented on how good the cakes were! We chose Who Made the Cake because Nadine's cakes are the best tasting cakes that we've ever had. We sampled from five (5) different bakeries and there was really no comparison. The four (4) others were very good, but Nadine's cakes were in a different league! We sampled 5 different flavors and had trouble deciding which to choose, as they were all absolutely wonderful, moist and had the most delicious flavor! The bride and groom each had a favorite, so they chose to mix the two layers throughout the cake (white wedding and cinnamon), so that all of our guests were able to have both in one serving. That choice was a clear hit with our guests. Nadine was gracious, attentive and helpful in the planning process. She quickly drew the design and the ordering process was wrapped before we ended the day. Our guests are still raving about how delicious the cakes were. I highly recommend Who Made The Cake, and plan to use Nadine for all of our future special events!

From the moment that we had a cake tasting, I dreamt about the delicious cake made by Mrs. Nadine. I have honestly never had a better piece of cake in my life. I am still drooling over it knowing that I cannot have it again until my 1 year anniversary. I will never order another cake from anyone else. We used a white buttercream cake with buttercream icing and a groom's cake with half chocolate and half cinnamon cake with hazelnut filling and chocolate icing. I even ate it for breakfast the next morning before going on our honeymoon. Nadine and her company were so professional and gave us ideas on each layer and each detail on the cake when my husband and I were unsure of what we wanted. They delivered the cake and set it up perfectly. You do have to return the cake stand, but that little detail is worth the help, reliability, and delicious product that we received from Nadine and her staff. People are still talking about our cakes - I may go steal some from our freezer now!

My wedding cake turned out even better than I thought it would! I had so many people come up and tell me that it was the best wedding cake they ever had. If you want a beautiful cake that is not only tasty but also reasonably priced, then look no further! Nadine is wonderful at what she does!!

We absolutely loved our wedding cake! It tasted amazing, and it looked beautiful! The initial consultation consisted of us browsing their sample books, and showing them what ideas we had. We also got to taste 4 different types of cakes. It was hard to pick a flavor, they were all delicious! The owner worked with us to create our perfect wedding cake and stay within our budget. Price-wise I think it was fair for a beautiful wedding cake.

The cake was outstanding. The chocolate cake was moist and the Italian Cream was wonderful. There were no wasted pieces laying afterwards. We've received numerous comments since the wedding regarding how much people enjoyed the cake.

We had "Who Made The Cake" make both the wedding cake and grooms cake. They did an amazing job!!

Delicious! Gorgeous! Everything I dreamed of! My only problem was that as the bride I only got a teeny tiny piece and have to wait til my anniversary to have more!!! Thank you so much!

Amazing!!!!! Not only was Natalie a delight to work with, but she really listened to what I had wanted. I didn't go into our consultation even know what I wanted. I pointed to a few pictures, and her sketch was perfect! What I got in person was beyond what I expected. Stunning! Simply stunning! To make it even more perfect- it was delicious. People still talk about how yummy it was. You can't go wrong with Who Made the Cake!

Nadine at Who Made the Cake made my dream wedding cake come to life. She knew exactly what I wanted. Nadine was very friendly and polite during our cake tasting. She was also very honest and helpful in helping us design the cake as our wedding cake had so many details. Not only did the cake look amazing, it tasted sooooooo good! They had some very great tasting flavors. We were able to use all the different flavors as we had several cake layers. Our guests all said as soon as they saw the cake, they wanted a piece of it and they all said it was so yummy.
Our wedding cake was absolutely amazing! Thank you Nadine and Who Made the Cake for making our unique and memorable wedding cake for us.

Amazing bakery, and Nadine and her team are geniuses! I had a pretty simple cake I wanted, and they made it look so much better than what I was thinking. Nadine was also one of the few people that did eggless cakes in Houston, which I needed for dietary restrictions, and the cake was delicious! She even explained the different types of flavors they had and helped me pick out the design and colors. I can see why she's been on the Food Network!

Our daughter had us blind taste 3 different cakes, and this cake was by far the best! I had friends ask where the cake came from after the wedding! Design was perfect too.
