Jazz and Adam are genuinely great people that put so much care and effort into their beautiful wedding venue. They’re both so attentive and involved making sure things ran smoothly (even when things didn’t go as planned) making sure our wedding weekend was the best time ever. Plus the property is absolutely stunning and very well maintained. Our family and friends couldn’t get over the views!!Whiteface Hollow's reply:

Our venue was our first and most important choice when we started planning our wedding. We didn't want to feel rushed and loved that this space was ours for the whole weekend.
I can't say enough about the natural beauty and peacefulness of this location. The mountains on the horizon, surrounded by serene forests with no road traffic or noise was blissful. This is a must for comfort and relaxation leading up to your wedding day - in my opinion.
All the facilities are kept very clean and ready to use. My bridal party and close family loved staying on site at the cozy farmhouse.
Jazz and Adam were amazing hosts and we enjoyed working with them during planning and the weekend of our wedding. Jazz is a 'get things done' kind of person and that is such a huge relief and comfort on your wedding day and when planning. We would pick Whiteface Hollow for our wedding venue over and over again.Whiteface Hollow's reply:

What a beautiful venue! My partner and I were first drawn to this place because we met (and later got engaged) while hiking a nearby mountain that you could see from the grounds. But the place truly exceeded our expectations. It was so special being able to have our immediate families staying on site with us at the farmhouse to help set up. And the barn is simply gorgeous. Even though it rained on and off on our wedding day, the misty views were beautiful and the barn was the perfect place to celebrate.Whiteface Hollow's reply:

We had the most magical weekend at Whiteface hollow. Their packages are good for a variety of budgets, it’s so nice to have everything all in one place, and the views were truly so stunning. Simply put - we are over the moon about our experience with Whiteface Hollow.
We first visited on an incredibly cold winter day and Jennifer gave us a tour of the grounds. Even then, we were struck by how beautiful it was - and the property in the summer did not disappoint. It was stunning. During the intervening time, we had several planning meetings with Jennifer and her planning staff. They were always very supportive, shared our enthusiasm, and weighed in with their experience to help us make the best decisions possible.
On the weekend of, we enjoyed everything the venue had to offer. The farmhouse was filled with our friends who helped us with final preparations and kept us company on the nights before. It was so nice to have a cozy place to stay and get ready for the big day without stressing about travel to the final spot. We had beautiful weather and enjoyed the barn to its fullest, packing it with our loved ones and dancing the night away. Jennifer and team were very accommodating and flexible throughout helping us realize our dream vision with her experience and input. Our only word of notice to anyone looking at this venue is that tables and decoration setup/breakdown is not provided by the venue. You’ll need to either hire help for that or enlist your trusted friends and family like we did!
But that in no way diminished our experience and I don’t think we would have changed a thing about it!

Whiteface Hollow is the only wedding venue I'd recommend to friends! The venue, staff (especially Jennifer), and surrounding area are absolutely PERFECT. I cannot recommend this venue enough. We had the most perfect wedding day at Whiteface hollow. The Mountain view’s are the best around which is the biggest reason for choosing this venue. My husband and I love to travel, hike and adventure so we wanted our wedding to have that adventurous spirit to it and this place did exactly that. The owner, Jennifer, is the other reason we selected this venue. She is the sweetest soul and made us feel like family instantly. She is personable and super friendly. She lets you do your thing and bring your vision to life. I loved staying there for the whole weekend (Thursday to Sunday). It allowed us to settle in and get a lot setup before the wedding day without stress. Most of our guests were blown away by the Mountain View’s especially at sunset. We had great feedback from people saying it was the best wedding they had been to and fell in love with the place just like we did. We stayed at the most adorable farmhouse on the property which was perfect for the girls to get ready at the morning of the wedding. Jennifer was so helpful and caring and made us feel special throughout the process. Even after the wedding was over! I couldn’t recommend this venue enough. If you are looking for the most magical setting go check out Whiteface Hollow. You will likely cancel all your following tours upon visiting like we did. 🙂Whiteface Hollow's reply:

Whiteface Hollow was the PERFECT venue. We looked at quite a few other locations, and nothing matched the absolutely incredible mountain backdrop and the beautifully renovated (yet still rustic and charming) barn. If you are looking for a dreamy, mountain, barn wedding (and who isn't?), this is definitely the place. When our florist arrived, she said that it was the most beautiful venue she had ever been to! Our guests raved about the views - all of their photos from the wedding are their new profile pictures. An added bonus was that our families could stay at the farmhouse on the property - it was a fun way to have everyone together and have a little barbecue the night before.
We would be remiss not to mention how amazing Jennifer and John were. We were in constant contact with Jennifer, and she was so helpful (and we had a LOT of questions, as we didn't hire a wedding planner). They hosted us for a visit to show us the property, gave us a thorough walkthrough of EVERYTHING before the wedding, and were on-call throughout! Despite not having a planner, our wedding went perfectly and without a hitch (except ours ;) ) - we definitely attribute much of that to the helpfulness of Jennifer and John.

Incredible!
Where to begin? Other than the fact that Whiteface Hollow is STUNNING, the whole process of getting married there was perfect! Jennifer and John were the most gracious and helpful vendors! I am what you call a last minute and unorganized bride. Jennifer was there every step of the way to help answer all my questions! She spent hours walking me around the property! I know she does that for every couple, which says a lot! Jennifer and John are so organized and have every detail figured out so we can spend our weekend at Whiteface Hollow not worrying about the small things!! SO many people complimented the venue. It truly is the most picturesque place to have a wedding! I would not trade our wedding at Whiteface Hollow for anything! -

Whiteface Hollow was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. The newly renovated yet rustic barn, the on-site accommodations, the sweeping mountain views as the backdrop... this place is utterly breathtaking. Jennifer and John were amazing to work with and helped us every step of the way; Jennifer always provided lightning fast response times and was even there the day of to ensure everything was perfect. There isn't a single thing that we would change about our wedding here! -

We got married at Whiteface Hollow in May 2021 and it was like a dream. The venue is beautiful on so many different ways- the landscaping, the views, the adorable Farm house, the GORGEOUS barn and of course the brand new winery/ tasting room. This venue had everything we needed and wanted for our day. Working with Jennifer and John was amazing and they were so accommodating to all the challenges we faced with COVID. We loved having our check in tour the Thursday before the wedding to ensure we knew exactly how everything worked! I couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else :) -

Wedding Wonderland
Jennifer and John have a wedding wonderland at Whiteface Hollow!
My daughter was married there last weekend and everyone including the bridal party, the guests and vendors were blown away by the beauty of this venue!
Our wedding planning started 2 years ago and when we arrived at Whiteface Hollow we knew immediately that this was where we would have the wedding. They owners have thought of everything and are very supportive throughout the entire process even during a pandemic! They allowed us to reschedule twice!
The farm house and barn are original to the property and even though they are 200 years old they have been tastefully restored with all the necessary modern amenities for weddings these days.
The beautifully decorated farmhouse is stocked with all you could need for a 4 day wedding weekend including linens, kitchen supplies, TV, air conditioning and WiFi!
The restored rustic barn is the star of this estate. It is where the reception took place. Equipped with great lighting and modern amenities it can facilitate a wonderful event with dining and dancing. There is also a bar area and two lofts. We used one loft as a photo booth area and the other ended up being a stage for dancing, LOL!
The grounds are beautiful too with a vineyard, 5 K walking trail and gorgeous trees. We set up a welcome area near one tree and the wedding ceremony took place at another tree.
The rehearsal dinner took place in the Winery Tasting room which is a separate facility. It's a perfect place to host an indoor/outdoor party with views of the mountain tops surrounding New Hampshire.

John Sent on 10/27/2020Whiteface Hollow was the perfect private hillside barn venue we didn't know we were looking for.
Whiteface Hollow provided the perfect grounds and facilities for us to have the time to create the wedding of our daughter's dreams. The mountain views are spectacular. The warm 4 bedroom updated farmhouse provided the lodging needed for our family over the extended weekend rental period. There is a new additional building that is multi-functional and provided a great space for the rehearsal dinner.
After looking at other barn venues and giving consideration to our wedding needs and wantsneeds, Whiteface Hollow made our venue decision very easy.

We can’t say enough about how wonderful John and Jennifer are, the owners of Whiteface Hollow. We felt like family from the moment we met them and they were truly committed to making our day the best it could possibly be. Their responses were quick, expectations were exceeded and they offer a very wide range of package options/price ranges to meet individual wants/needs. We can’t stress enough how well they have put extensive thought and planning into every aspect of their gorgeous property. The farmhouse is absolutely stunning and offers a unique twist to a classic wedding venue that you normally would only rent for one day. All the packages come with access to the entire property from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon, with ample room for a dozen or so exclusive guests to stay for the weekend (normally the wedding party). In all honesty, this reduced the normal stressors of a wedding significantly. We never felt rushed to get setup or cleanup since we had a significant amount of time where the venue was completely ours. Still feeling stressed? Go have a glass of wine in front of the vineyard and watch the sunset over the Sandwich mountain range.
We had concerns due to the COVID pandemic and nearly decided to postpone our wedding, until we learned everything John and Jennifer were doing to address the issue. Hand sanitizer is located throughout the barn and when the doors are open, a nice breeze comes through. Everything is sanitized after each party leaves. They have even come up with multiple different seating plans to maintain social distancing for varying wedding sizes. Should there be folks that are at higher risk for COVID, the winery tasting room can be opened for additional seating that’s away from the barn. We felt very comfortable proceeding with the event once we knew extensive precautions were being taken.
Whiteface Hollow was by far the best venue we could’ve asked for on our big day and we can’t thank John and Jennifer enough. Schedule a visit of the property and you won’t look back! -

We cannot say enough good things about Whiteface Hollow. The owners, John and Jennifer are very kind and responsive. They worked so hard to restore the property and make it the beautiful place that it is. They have thought of every little detail to make the day perfect! Working with them was like working with family friends, they were very personal and not like some giant company. They take the time to get to know you. They even texted us a picture of the property on our wedding day a year prior. How thoughtful!
A few months before the wedding, we were close to cancelling due to COVID, but we met with John and Jennifer and they told us about all of the measures they were taking to make it a COVID safe wedding (hand sanitizing stations throughout the barn, tables 6 feet apart, a well ventilated barn, option to have the event outside, deep cleaning after each event, I could go on). The wedding went off without a hitch and guests felt very safe because of the efforts put in place. They also kept us updated as rules changed regarding large gatherings in N.H.
In addition to this, their pricing very fair! We felt like we really got our monies worth. We first visited the venue in the middle of January when there was multiple feet of snow covering the property, but regardless, we fell in love. One of the main things that sold us, aside for the absolutely stunning view and jaw dropping sunsets, was the fact that we get the entire venue from Thursday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and you get to stay in the beautiful farmhouse right on the property! We never left all weekend! We had our ceremony outside under a giant beautiful tree. We even had our rehearsal dinner there. At the end of the wedding night, it was so great to just be able to walk 50 feet and be at the house. The wedding party stayed there too and it made for such a fun weekend. Another great thing about this venue is that you get to plan things the way you want them! You don’t have super strict rules in place or hidden fees. Throughout the weekend you can call the owners up (who live a few miles from the venue) if an issue arises. Our guests raved about the location.
All in all, it was the most perfect day!! We got married in October so there was lots of foliage and leaves spread over the ground. There are bistro lights that hang throughout the barn and outside that give the venue a magical, cozy vibe. Every picture taken came out amazing! You have so many beautiful backdrops. The entire day was magical. Straight out of a wedding magazine! I can only imagine how beautiful it must be on a summer night there! The perfect location for multiple seasons. You won’t regret choosing Whiteface Hollow! We can’t wait to visit the Vineyard when it opens. -

Where to begin!? From the moment that my husband and I first arrived at Whiteface Hollow, we knew it was something special. John and Jennifer (the owners) gave us a tour of the entire property, and it was clear that they had everything in line to ensure our wedding weekend would be exactly as we pictured. Our ceremony was held at St. Charles Borromeo in Meredith, so there were some extra logistics that we needed to address. John and Jennifer shared a thorough list of top vendors in the area, as well as suggestions/tips to guide us in our planning every step of the way. We truly couldn't have pulled off a socially-distant, COVID wedding without them! Carolyn Hemingway was fantastic as our day of coordinator (included in our package); her strong attention to detail and background in event planning ensured the entire weekend ran smoothly, and she was SO GOOD about keeping everything on schedule and managing vendors before and during the wedding.
The grounds including the large historic barn and brand new tasting room at Whiteface Hollow were perfect for our guests to enjoy the beautiful Fall weather and mountain views (while maintaining social distances)—the entire venue is absolutely stunning. The farmhouse is so thoughtfully laid out and has everything you and your bridal party would need for your big weekend. We could go on and on about how amazing our experience and our guests' experience was at Whiteface Hollow. If we had to do it all over again, there's no doubt we'd choose Whiteface Hollow!!! It truly is a special place. -

Could not have asked for a better wedding weekend!
Every part of our weekend at Whiteface Hollow was perfect. There’s a cute house located right next to the barn for the wedding party which allowed easy access to set up and retreat to after the wedding. The barn provides amazing views of the mountains, with great airflow and easy access for guests to get around which is especially helpful with COVID. The owners Jen and John stayed in contact the entire weekend, ensuring everything was perfect. When the bride needed assistance John showed up right away. Jen stood by during the wedding to assist which took any stress off of the bride. I can not say enough positive things about Whiteface Hollow. -

This is an absolutely gorgeous venue and many wonderful memories were made over the course of the weekend! A few things that we noticed and made suggestions on: There were no shades on the windows or locks on the doors in the downstairs bedroom of the farmhouse as well as no lock on the downstairs bathroom of the farmhouse. The A/C did not work upstairs the night that we needed it. Jennifer was very open to and appreciative of the feedback that we gave her when checking out and planned on addressing these items. The contract stated that owners were not typically on site for the wedding and that notice would be given if the need arose. Jennifer was on site during the wedding and we were surprised at this. This could have been due to the circumstances of the pandemic. She was very helpful and even ran out to get ice for us so it wasn't a problem but I thought I would mention it. Overall the grounds, barn, and farmhouse are absolutely beautiful and the owners are very nice and helpful to deal with . We would definitely rent this venue again without hesitation! We were sad for the weekend to come to an end! -

I just got back from a weekend in visiting potential wedding venues in the Tamworth area and I felt compelled to write a review of our experiences touring Whiteface Hollow. Jennifer and John were supremely accommodating, even letting me schedule our tour for sunset so I could experience it in real life (The multiple gorgeous pictures barely do it justice)
As soon as you step out of your car you're surrounded by natural beauty. We toured in the dead of winter and it was still breathtaking. The property is hedged by a range of mountains, and infinite dramatic backdrops for photography. The inside of the house is so cozy and homey while being sleek and modern where it counts (Like the super impressive kitchen)
Our tour was only supposed to be 45 minutes but we lost track of time chatting with Jennifer and John and by the time we were out the door I noticed it'd been 2 hours! They were so patient with my line of questioning and knowledgeable about the area and the process. They have this (I call it a Manifesto) well thought out, comprehensive guide binder they've put together of helpful hints, timelines, checklists and vendor recommendations, everything you need to plan your perfect wedding. They've thought of everything. I highly recommend checking out Whiteface Hollow. -

The perfect home away from home
Was the brother of the bride. The owners are so polite. They really made you feel welcome and like family. The views of the mountains from the property are breaking! We woke to a rainbow to the morning mist. Truly a memory I will never forget.
The house is gorgeous. Has a old cozy feel with a modern twist. The propane cast iron stove was memorizing on those chili nights.
The barn was beyond perfect. Has two big doors on both sides. They look out to the mountains to the west. The sunset was absolutely stunning!!! Definitely would recommend this place! -

We feel so lucky to have found Whiteface Hollow. We wanted a venue with a a beautiful barn and views of the white mountains, which are our special place. After looking at many venues, we were lucky that Whiteface Hollow opened the week we were in NH looking at other barns. We knew right away this place was special.
John was very passionate about the historically accurate renovations of the barn. It was a wonderful space with thoughtful features like a built-in bar and up lighting. The views of the mountains are stunning and like no other venue. The farmhouse had wonderful character and was comfortable for our wedding party. The vineyard made for perfect photos.
John and Jennifer were helpful as we planned our wedding and regularly checked in with us. They had great recommendations for vendors, detailed charts with dimensions to help with decor planning, and even put together a nature walk trail. They really put their heart and soul into this place.
Our guests gushed about how beautiful everything was, and we can't wait to toast to our anniversary with wine from Whiteface Hollow. -

As a photographer, working with Jennifer and John at Whiteface Hollow was an incredible experience. First off, the venue itself is stunning. Not just the barn, but the house they provide has perfect touches to keep that rustic feel. They think of everything. They even cut the lawn with the photographer in mind to make sure there are plenty of options for creativity. Jennifer and John were so friendly and instantly made us feel at home. We saw several venues in New Hampshire and once we got to Whiteface Hollow we canceled our other tours because we knew nothing could top it. The views left us speechless and the barn was absolutely stunning. It’s one of those places that can change you. It’s so peaceful and calming. Not only was the venue PERFECT but Jennifer and John were so wonderful and very responsive. They were so helpful and warm. Jennifer popped in the day of the wedding to make sure things were ok. I later found out that she was grabbing extra tables from her basement because the DJ and bartenders needed extra and then was even doing dishes in the kitchen so we wouldn’t have as much to worry about the next day. Jennifer and John went above and beyond and we cannot thank them enough for giving us the most special day of our lives and sharing their little piece of heaven with us!Whiteface Hollow's reply:

Amazing, BEAUTIFUL wedding venue!
This venue really is as gorgeous as it looks online. When looking at different options and venue locations for our wedding, we had to make a decision as to whether we wanted to have something more DIY or something with a full-service wedding coordinator who handled everything from start to finish. We ended up choosing Whiteface Hollow because it was absolutely stunning and my family would be able to stay on the property for the entire weekend. Our wedding took a lot of preparation and effort, but we were so happy with the outcome. We always knew we wanted to get married in the White Mountains, and Whiteface Hollow shows such an amazing view of the mountains that we knew would make the perfect reception and wedding photos. The entire property is set up in a genius way for weddings and events, with every last detail considered for you. Guests and vendors are comfortable getting around, and it is just the most beautiful barn. In all of the photos you see of weddings held here, not one looks alike. While it was a lot of work to plan our own wedding from scratch, it turned out exactly as we were hoping because we had the best canvas to work with. Also Jennifer and John were awesome hosts and made everything run smoothly! If you come visit for a tour, you will fall in love and will definitely want to get married here.

As a musician who was recently hired to play at a wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, I found the Whiteface Hollow easy to work with and professional. I had the opportunity to meet with the owners prior to the wedding date to review the set up for the facility. A complete tour assured me of the ability to address any weather condition or need that may occur to ensure that the special day would be a success. Gorgeous setting, and John and Jennifer were very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The grounds are getting more beautiful by the day as their grape vines mature and a new nature trail was recently added for guests to enjoy. A great place for a wedding with excellent mountain views! The farmhouse on the property is one of the best-done restorations of an old NH home that we've seen. It was extremely comfortable. -

Whiteface Hollow was our absolute dream place to get married. We wanted a rustic elegant barn and John has gone out of his way restoring the beautiful 1820 barn and farmhouse! We were able to stay in the farmhouse for two days before our ceremony allowing us to get things ready and even have our small rehearsal dinner catered there. This place was absolutely gorgeous. It overlooks the NH mountains and when you step out of the car it takes your breath away. John was easy to work with and so responsive. He gave us many ideas and names for vendors. It truly was a blank slate- we had to bring in everything, but the people who do that are experts and phenomenal to work with. We created the most perfect wedding that our friends and family just kept saying was “so us!” We loved getting married here and even said we would have booked this place even if it were just the two of us! -

Tammy Sent on 04/23/2018We attended an event at Whiteface Hollow and we were very impressed! The scenery was breathtaking! The owners refurbished the old barn and farmhouse with attention to every detail. Trees were cleared from the land to frame the view behind couples while they are exchanging vows and the sunset we witnessed was stunning. The lumber from the cleared trees was used on the renovations and the cleared land will be used for planting vines for the vineyard. The owners are very pleasant to work with and very accommodating. The food we had at the event we attended was terrific. The appetizers and drinks were served from the barn and enjoyed on the lawn which was a great option given the beautiful surroundings. I highly recommend Whiteface Hollow. -

Whiteface Hollow was everything that myself and my new husband needed for our Lord of the Rings themed wedding. COVID19 may have presented challenges, but the venue owners were kind and gave us a brand new social distancing floor plan to keep our guests safe. There was also plenty of outdoor space for social distancing. My guests told me that they felt very safe there. The barn was gorgeous, pristine, and well built/wired so that you can choose any DJ, florist, and caterer that you would like. The venue owners also work with a top notch wedding day coordinator! The mountain, winery, and treeline views are unmatched, and being able to use the property three days and three nights is incredible. My bridal party felt right at home . I strongly recommend this venue to any bride looking for the perfect NH/rustic wedding! -

We couldn't have asked for a better wedding day at Whiteface Hollow. We chose this venue due to the location, barn, views, history, working with Jazz and Adam, and just picturing our special day the first time we walked on property. Whiteface Hollow was the perfect venue for our wedding. Jennifer and her husband responded immediately with all our questions and were so friendly. The house and barn were very clean and welcoming. It was a very peaceful weekend! -

I experienced WhiteFace Hollow just a couple of weekends ago when I officiated a wedding there. My whole experience couldn't have been better. From the old farmhouse that was renovated, updated, and seemed to include everything needed; to the old barn that was just amazing!; to the grounds that even included a wonderfully crafted meandering path mowed through the grassy field that even included a few resting / viewing places; WFH is absolutely stunning!! I hope to visit again!
