Beautiful Lake Placid Adirondack Venue Perfection

Our wedding this past September at the Whiteface Club and Resort was better than we could have imagined. After seeing many venues in upstate NY and beyond, we kept going back to the lake, the mountains, and that gorgeous garden at WC&R. Kristin Parker was just as excited as we were throughout the whole wedding process and went above and beyond in every way possible. Kristin absolutely loves her job, which shows through in all of her weddings and interactions. We were so impressed with the staff, how friendly and genuinely happy and excited they all were for us. Kristin was up for anything, embraced our style and ideas and loved creating our vision. Not only did we have an amazing wedding to remember forever, but we made friends that will continue on past the wedding and bring us back to enjoy WC&R for years to come.

Amazing winter wedding venue

We had the crazy idea that we wanted an outdoor winter wedding ceremony with a fun party reception to follow. Kristin could not have been any more helpful to helping us realize our dreams. We planned the wedding from Buffalo,NY, so only had the chance to visit the venue once in the summer. It did not matter, Kristen had every small detail planned for us. The ceremony was stunning. She lit a fire in the boathouse for us to keep warm prior to the ceremony. The grounds crew had the boardwalk completely melted for guests to walk down, complete with seats set up for the ceremony. Hot spiked chocolate and cider were set up prior as well! The actual reception area was BEAUTIFUL! With candles and garland everywhere. The food was superb, and the staff was extremely nice. We had 150 guests for a "moveable feast" instead of a formal sit down dinner. Everyone was pleased.

Our recommendation would be to listen to Kristin's advice as we could not have planned a better day. She even came to our first look and helped the bride with several dress disasters. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Incredible Venue & An Incredible Team!

You will not find a more stunning location than Whiteface Club & Resort. We visited six different venues and WCR was far and away the most beautiful with a lovely private garden and incredible lake and mountain views from every location. Kristin is an absolute dynamo - she is so passionate about her work and weddings and it shows countless times over. She was there every step of the way with so much enthusiasm, and happy to help with literally anything you could possibly need. Her team and staff are equally attentive and incredibly professional; every detail was meticulously addressed, service was exceptional and friendly and the kitchen was very accommodating for the number of kids and vegan/vegetarian guests we had. Everyone had a blast and guests are still telling us that it was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve been to. WCR is perfect for its incredible views alone, but Kristin and her team are what truly elevate the experience to something exceptional.

Everything you could wish for and more for your wedding day!

Everything about the venue was absolutely amazing. Kristin couldn't have helped make our wedding day more special. She was so incredibly helpful from the moment we met her. She supplies you with reliable vendors and checks in on you often to make sure you have everything you need. We ended up repurposing my bridesmaids bouquets as center pieces and she helped us on the day cut the stems to make them look perfect as center pieces. She goes absolutely above and beyond. It ended up being a rainy day and it cleared up just in time for the ceremony. She said they normally decide at noon to have the wedding inside or outside but 10 minutes before the ceremony she did her magic and made it so our wedding could be outside by getting a group of people together to wipe down all the chairs. Rain or shine the venue is absolutely stunning on the lake. The garden is breathtaking as is the dining room in the club house.

All that and a bag of chips!

Kristin is truly AMAZING!! I was instantly put at ease by her energetic personality and ability to multitask, especially since we live out of state and needed a lot of help planning our wedding.

She was always accessible by email or phone, and walked us through every step of the process, and being super accommodating about our options.

Also- seriously the best bar package you'll find! Everyone had the best time at our wedding and they raved not only about the beautiful venue but the amazing staff. Overall an amazing place and experience, can't recommend Whiteface Club & Resort and Kristin enough!

Perfect Wedding Venue

Absolutely gorgeous venue with picturesque views all around. We couldn't of asked for a better setting for our wedding. The reception area held multiple areas for guests to spend their time and socialize away from the music. The only downfall of the venue is lack of signs directing guests; it is tucked away and can be very difficult to find if you haven't been there before. Overall, it was an amazing day and I wouldn't of wanted to have my wedding anywhere else.

An Adirondack Dream come true

The venue itself is beautiful. Having exclusive access to the Wedding Garden, Boathouse and Lodge, for the whole weekend, makes you feel welcome and special. Only doing one wedding a weekend takes away a lot of pressure and stress. Everything on the property is a perfect complement to the stunning beauty of Lake Placid and the Adirondacks. This being said, the physical property is not what made the experience perfect. That credit goes to Kristin and her staff. Kristin was engaged and focused and is an absolute professional. Incredible in both planning and execution

Kristin and her staff were incredible to work with. From the planning phase to the wedding weekend, she was responsive, organized, helpful, and upbeat. So many guests commented on how wonderful the staff was throughout the weekend, in addition to the venue being a fun and beautiful spot to hold our wedding. I would highly recommend.

Beautiful wedding at a beautiful venue.

We planned a wedding from out of state for our daughter with a relatively short timeline and tighter budge. Kristin Parker was great to work with and was very flexible. We were able to bring in our own flowers, decorations and cake. The facility was beautiful with a rustic feel. We had cocktails at the lovely water’s edge and dinner at the main dining room. The servers were on top of things and responsive. All the guests had a great time!

Very accommodating staff, beautiful location, and Kristin Parker was a pleasure to work with.

We cannot say enough good things about the Whiteface Club and Resort, in Lake Placid, NY! It was a pleasure to work with Kristin Parker…she was extremely efficient, never flustered, always reassuring and everything was planned out perfectly for a winter wedding. Though it was very cold and icy the day of the wedding, the staff had the parking lots cleared and sanded, the fireplaces roaring and the food and the drinks were outstanding! We would highly recommend the Whiteface Club and Resort for any special event.

Exceptional!

Kristin Parker & the Whiteface Club & Resort exceeded our expectations for our Fall wedding. When my husband and I visited possible venues, the Whiteface Club & Resort stood out the most. We loved the idea of having a rustic themed wedding where we had the luxury of being outside for the ceremony and inside for the reception. The view of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain in the background are incredible. Kristin Parker even set us up with a wooden boat ride which I thought was very romantic and gave my husband and I 30-minutes to enjoy a moment to ourselves before dancing the night away. The cocktail hour and reception were just beautiful. Our guests had the time of their life. Kristin Parker helps the bride throughout the entire planning process and is very responsive. She was also there during the entire day of the wedding. Everything went perfectly! It was our dream wedding. We keep hearing about how fun our wedding was and how gorgeous the venue was even 4-months later!!! I HIGHLY recommend your Adirondack wedding to be at Whiteface Club and Resort.

1st and last venue we looked at!

The moment that we walked down the garden path during our visit at Whiteface Club and Resort we knew that was where we wanted to get married. Before, during and after our wedding ceremony Kristin made sure everything was perfect and ran smoothly. She is a top notch wedding coordinator with a perfect venue. The definition of a spectacular wedding experience.

My experience as a bride at Whiteface Club & Resort is beyond words. Kristin Parker is a diamond of a human being, and will do everything to make your day seamlessly perfect and magical. One element that really stands out is how accommodating and flexible they were to all of our needs, no matter how unusual or challenging our requests were, they consistently went out of their way to give us the individualized wedding experience we sought. This type of client service is so rare. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect venue for my wedding, and I give Kristen and the Whiteface venue and staff my highest endorsement!

Wedding Dreams Realized

Whiteface Club & Resort, and Kristin Parker, helped us realize our dream of a special, memorable start to the wedding festivities of our son and daughter-in-law. Our rehearsal dinner and welcome reception were everything we desired: the food delicious, the staff caring and hard-working, the dining room and patio were set up beautifully and comfortably and the ambiance was warm and inviting. From the time we met Kristin for our tour one year before the wedding to the time we gathered before dinner was being served, we were taken care of in a warm, caring, understanding fashion. Kristin, truly heard us and followed through on everything we discussed. Working with her was an absolute pleasure. I have such fond memories of our evening, but one in particular was my view from the Adirondack style dining room window to the full moon shining down on beautiful Lake Placid with our family and friends around us enjoying the tremendous ambiance, delicious food and flowing spirits in the warm environment of the Whiteface Club & Resort.

Our Perfect Adirondack Venue!

After our first visit to the Whiteface Club and Resort, we knew that having our reception there would be the best decision we could make. Not only does the club have the most beautiful grounds and backdrop, it comes with the kindest, hardest working staff I have ever encountered. The grounds of the club are so gorgeous on their own, little decoration is needed to make this venue stunning. Their gardens are unparalleled, and you cannot create this vibe and view anywhere else. While visiting other venues, the event planners would recommend we hire a separate wedding planner, as their services were quite limited. When first visiting the Whiteface Club and Resort, Kristin explained her role, which sounded surreal. She explained how we would be able to rely on her throughout our entire wedding process, and that there is really no need to hire a separate wedding planner. Kristin really did not do herself justice. She basically held our hands through every part of the planning process. From making sure we were on schedule, to helping us pick vendors, and disclosing her elite group of recommended vendors, we never could have planned our perfect day without her help. As if her 24/7 help leading up to the event (Kristin would literally answer her phone at home, in her car, all hours of the day), was not enough, Kristin was an angel not just the day of, but the entire week leading up to our wedding. Kristin stayed late two nights before our wedding to help us decide on table placement and decorations, and never complained when we were indecisive. She really cared that the room was exactly how we wanted it. We got married at a church, not the reception venue, and Kristin came to the church and fluffed my dress before I walked down the aisle. She transported flowers and decorations from the venue to the church. Kristin made sure every single aspect of the day went off without a hitch. She was constantly communicating with vendors to keep us from needing to do so, and she made sure every detail was taken care of down to double checking the serving spoons for dinner. She is fun, kind, and funny, but also no nonsense when it comes to her job. I have been a part of several weddings, and have never encountered such a talented, invested wedding planner and staff. Our wedding was everything we could have dreamed of and more, and I am certain that is a result of the hard work of the staff at the Whiteface Club and Resort.

Our dream wedding

Our wedding at the Whiteface Club and Resort in September, overseen by Kristin Parker, was truly a dream come true. We honestly cannot come up with any critical or negative things to say about the venue, the event, or the staff. We were told by members of the staff that we asked for some fairly unique requests regarding things like food and personalized decor - the entire team at WFCR nailed everything above and beyond our expectations. We can't recommend this venue enough.

Whiteface Club & Resort beyond exceeded all of my expectations. When we first started looking at venues about a year ago we went to see 4 in Lake Placid (we already knew we wanted to get married in LP, where was just the question). WFCR was the last one we saw that day and immediately knew it was the place for us (and blew the other 3 out of the water), we booked that day. From the first time we met Kristin till the very last detail on the day of the wedding, she went above and beyond for EVERYTHING. She was there every step of the way from start to finish. Being a perfectionist myself – I couldn’t have met a better match to work with throughout the year. Everything I asked and wanted she said yes and made happen (usually unheard of). She made our day the best ever and it went so smooth! Everyone kept coming up to me complimenting how great she was. Aside from Kristin – the venue and location was more than perfect and I would do it again there a million times if I could! I would highly recommend the Whiteface Club & Resort to everyone!!!!

We had our wedding at Whiteface Club & Resort in August and it far exceeded our expectations! Kristin Parker made the task of planning from afar easy. She put us in touch with top-notch vendors and thought of every detail. Everything day of was executed flawlessly, and done with a smile! We didn't have to worry about a thing and could just enjoy ourselves. The venue is spectacular and the food was awesome. Our guests had an amazing time and many said it was the best wedding they had ever attended. It was an amazing day for all and we couldn't have been happier!

Our wedding day was planned from a distance, and it could not have been a more simple process. Kristin is truly a dream—honestly, she makes wedding planning a fun endeavor. She was so calm, open and in constant contact without creating any stress. My husband and I just sat back and enjoyed every second of our wedding day. The garden was flawless, the cocktail hour was an easy transition from our ceremony and our reception was perfect! The food was amazing! I had high expectations for food, and everything was exactly as we had hoped. Could not have asked for a better experience. Perfect venue, with perfect staff! It was raining on the day of our wedding and Kristin was awesome. She was willing to do whatever we wanted rain or shine. Kristin and Mark are awesome as well as the rest of the staff. We were the first for the boat and that was also perfect and so beautiful. They really think through everything to make everything awesome. The snacks and champagne on the boat and every little detail of the day. I loved that Kristin moved the ceremony flowers and made them apart of the rest of the night!

We absolutely LOVED our winter wonderland wedding! Kristin and her team were the BEST and supported us the entire time, even through our -40 degree Fahrenheit wedding weekend in January! Every request we had was granted. We looked at several other vendors in Lake Placid but could not be happier that we went with the Whiteface Club and Resort! I have so much more I can say but the bottom line is that you won't be disappointed!

The Whiteface Club & Resort helped us have the absolute best wedding day ever! Our guests enjoyed every bit of it and they continue to tell us this months later. During the planning process, Kristin was so helpful with everything that we needed and made sure that we had covered everything for the day of. On the day of, there was literally nothing to worry about - everything was taken care of and if anything went awry, my husband and I had no idea! We couldn't have asked for a better venue or wedding and we will remember that day and how special it was for the rest of our lives thanks to The Whiteface Club & Resort.

My husband and I had our wedding here on July 15, 2017. It was absolutely amazing! The venue is beautiful, the service is great and we highly recommend the staff at Whiteface Club, particularly our wedding planner Kristin. She is professional, quick to respond and helped us throughout, with finding vendors and making decisions about our day. She really knows what she is doing and made the day so special. We highly recommend Whiteface Club to anyone considering getting married in the Adirondacks.

The Whiteface venue is stunning and when you pair it with Kristin Parker, I can assure you, no other venue comes close. Kristin was a blast to work with from beginning to end. She was extremely responsive on all emails, requests, calls, and gave us fantastic suggestions for vendors to use. When it comes to the wedding day, she handles everything and lets you enjoy every second of your big day. She is so caring that when your wedding weekend is over, you are sad that you no longer have reasons to reach out to her. From the beautiful mountain backdrop, to the boathouse for cocktails, and then into the reception lodge, the venues continue to get better and better, which your guests will love. The food was fantastic (still getting compliments about a month out), the service at the bars was super fast, and the cake is great (we did funfetti, the best). This venue is beyond worth it and it will have your guests raving about your wedding for years to come.

Where to even begin! The venue of course speaks for itself in that it has so much character and natural beauty, it's hard not to have a picture perfect event here. But it certainly helps to enhance the experience when the service is 5 stars all around and that is all due to the hard work and impeccable execution from Kristin Parker, the wedding coordinator and her amazing team.
My (now!) husband and I wanted to find a venue that captured a romantic rustic feel and made our guests feel like they were taken to a different world. We took a ride to Lake Placid (from Long Island) with another venue in mind which we had thought was going to be "the one" but when we went on our tour, we didn't connect with the venue. The Whiteface Club was our next stop, and after taking 5 steps toward the wedding garden we immediately knew it was going to be our last! How could you NOT fall in love with that view and all of the beauty of nature surrounding you?! At the end of our tour, our hearts (and eyes- yes we teared up!) were full- we just knew this was where we were going to celebrate our special day with the people we love most.
Immediately upon inquiring about a tour of the property, Kristin was responsive and energetic- you could tell she was passionate about her job. Once we booked our date, the rest of the process was seamless. It STILL amazes me how much capacity she has for detail. It's almost as if we were the only wedding she was planning- she's truly invested in each of her clients.
I could go on forever but I will just say our day was picture perfect- everything that Kristin and I had discussed logistically was executed beyond our expectations. The staff was amazing, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD, and the atmosphere is euphoric. Let's just say multiple friends who had weddings before us said "that was the wedding of the year"!

Whiteface Club and Resort was an absolutely incredible venue! The backdrop for our August ceremony was gorgeous, the gardens were beautiful and great for photos, and the food was absolutely delicious! Kristin Parker was AMAZING to work with and made sure our special day was perfect and absolutely flawless. Her attention to detail is fantastic and her staff is extremely professional and personable. The Whiteface Club & Resort was the first and only venue we looked at after we got a tip from a friend that it was the best place to get married in Lake Placid. Pro tip. We booked it on the spot without ever seeing it in person (though Kristin did give us a virtual tour!) - seems risky for your wedding venue, but it was the best decision ever. The property is amazing, the setting is breathtaking, the reception space is perfect, but most importantly, Kristin is a magician. Our wedding was Sunday of a long weekend. Kristin was planning another wedding that Saturday, and as we would later learn, another event for 200+ people that Monday. But you wouldn't know it. She was calm as can be the entire time, she made us feel like we were her only priority, and she and her team went above and beyond every step of the way with every detail. And, they were super flexible and able to turn on a dime for us when the weather did not cooperate. Kristin let us have until the last minute to decide whether to have the wedding indoors, which we ultimately did, and her team set up the indoor space and adjusted the plan for us on the spot. And if it happens that you get a rainy day too, fear not, the rain location (the Moose Lodge boathouse) is beautiful and so cozy. There was a fire lit in the fireplace, you could see rain pouring down onto the lake through the huge windows, and the space made for a very intimate setting for our ceremony. Our guests were surprised to learn it was the rain location. It was absolutely perfect -- and this is coming from someone who's only wish for my wedding was to have it outside. The other amazing thing about Kristin and the Whiteface club is the other vendors Kristin recommended. All were exceptional and all had worked at the venue many times before, so everything went seamlessly and we didn't have to worry about a single thing. To sum it up, our wedding was all of the fun without any of the stress. Can't thank Kristin and her team enough.

As a bridesmaid for a wedding on August 12th this year, I can say without a doubt that Laura's wedding at the Whiteface Club and Resort was absolute perfection. I've been to Lake Placid before, but never to Whiteface. It was so special to be a part of Laura's wedding in such a stunning and breathtaking place - what a venue! Everything was beautifully appointed and close by. The cocktails and delicious hors d'oeuvres and dinner menus were all impeccably done, and the staff was so attentive, making all of the events for over 200 guests somehow feel completely effortless. Kristin Parker and her team did a great job!

My husband and I just got married on 8/12, and I feel I could go on forever about how every detail was literally perfect. To say we had the wedding of our dreams feels like the understatement of the century, and we have Kristin Parker & the staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort to thank for exceeding ALL of our expectations in every way possible. Kristin Parker is SO much more than a wedding coordinator. She is a full wedding planner with impeccable taste & unparalleled knowledge about all the best vendors for any price point in literally every category based on exactly what you are looking for to realize your dream wedding. From day one, she made me feel like I was the only wedding on her plate for the year, despite actually having at least one wedding almost every week from the time we booked back in Jan. We encouraged our guests to stay on the WFC property & planned all of our activities there from Thur-Sun. We couldn't have made a better choice. Our guests LOVED (and can't stop talking about!) the convenience & being able to take advantage of all the Resort has to offer. Our rehearsal dinner at the Boathouse was an absolute dream, including a surprise trip out on the Lake in their new wooden boat with cocktails and a spread of appetizers to die for. The wedding garden the next day with pristine Lake Placid in the background was the most magical setting on earth for our wedding, and despite some hecticness with a few sudden rain showers, Kristin and the staff helped us all stay calm, seeing to every detail so we didn't have to worry about a single thing. The food and drinks couldn't have been better, the venue couldn't have been more beautiful and Kristin and her team truly couldn't have done a better job pulling off the most magical wedding we could possibly imagine. Thank you Kristin, Mark and all of WFC for everything you did to give Jay & me the absolute BEST wedding & most special weekend of our lives - it truly exceeded even our wildest dreams!

Wow! What a day. Our wedding was everything we could have hoped it to be, and Kristen and her wonderful team at the Whiteface Club & Resort collaborated seamlessly to make it happen. As with most weddings, the planning started months in advance, and though we planned the wedding long distance, it felt easy and stress-free.

By the time the big day came, everything was perfectly in place. The day of the wedding is busy, and Kristen helped to move us through the different phases so that we could get all the right pictures and were in the right places for the toasts and dances. Very helpful! The venue looked stunning, and our friends and family had a wonderful time, with many guests stating it was one of the best/nicest weddings they had attended. All in all, a perfect day. Wish we could do it all over again! Thanks so much!

Perfection. That is the best way to describe our wedding at Whiteface Club & Resort. We were married in May 2017 and could not have asked for a better location to start the rest of our lives together. Living out of state, Lake Placid is our favorite place and we knew it would be a wonderful location for our family and friends to share our special day. We looked at several sites in the area and Whiteface Club & Resort left us speechless! The grounds are impeccable, the food is stellar and the views breathtaking! We had a small ceremony in the wedding garden and cocktail reception in the Boathouse. The Boathouse fireplace kept guests comfortable and cozy with panoramic views of the Adirondacks on all sides of the room. Kristin, the wedding coordinator, is like a fairy godmother and it was just wonderful to have a wedding coordinator right at the venue so we didn't have to hire someone and could use that extra money for the ceremony. She made everything so special for us. It rained the morning of our wedding day, but Kristin was so upbeat and updated us on the weather, reassuring us the storms would pass. She was right! At the time of our ceremony the clouds departed and it was glorious! She helped me with my gown as I prepared to walk down the aisle and she was truly so excited and happy for us! We just love Kristin and all that she did to make our wedding day so very special! We are honored to have shared our day with her and the team at Whiteface Club & Resort. For couples looking to get married in Lake Placid and the Adirondacks, do not waste your time looking at other venues! Kristin and Whiteface Club & Resort will not disappoint you! Our daughter's wedding on June 24, 2017 was every parent's dream come true. The Whiteface Club and Resort is an absolutely magical venue for a wedding ceremony and reception. The wedding garden was in full bloom which made the lakeside setting even more beautiful! Kristin is the most amazing event planner - she helped us with every aspect of the planning from providing us with vendor contacts to offering personal ideas. She was always available to answer any questions we had. The Bride and Groom were overjoyed. The day was beautiful, the food fantastic, the staff gracious and helpful. We just got married here on January 7, 2017 and it was the most perfect day!
I have a lot of good things to say, but I’ll start with Kristin Parker, the on-site event coordinator. She’s the most organized, detail-oriented, knowledgable person… yet she’s incredibly calm, down-to-earth, and kind! I’m a very specific person and emailed her A LOT during the course of a year when we planned our wedding. She was so communicative and offered incredible guidance and truly helped us bring our dream day to life! She really went above and beyond on our big day too, keeping everything running smoothly and especially going out of her way and helping us diffuse a stressful situation with our shuttle. I feel like she’s not only someone who played a huge role in our wedding, but someone who has become a friend.
We also got tons of compliments on the food here! This doesn’t happen at a lot of weddings, and we had a big wedding with a lot of “wedding vets” (our friends in their late 20s and early 30s who have been to countless weddings in the past few years AND family/friends who are older and have been to many weddings in their lifetime) and people from the NYC area (“foodies”). Everyone was raving about the food, and my husband and I agreed. The steak was juicy, the chicken was seasoned perfectly, and the vegetarians in our group also had great things to say.
We also had a lot of friends/family tell us that it was the most incredible and unique venue they had ever been to—there are views of Whiteface Mountain, it’s ON the shores of Lake Placid, and has an unparalleled ADK charm, both inside and out.
Our wedding took place on the perfect snowy, wintry day, and Kristin and the staff at WFC really worked hard to make a lot of winter wedding details come to life. We had horse-drawn sleigh rides, spiked hot chocolate for signature drinks, and tons of little details and signage that they helped us bring to life!
Thank you guys so much for everything! We can’t wait to visit!

We got married on October 29, 2016 at Whiteface Club & Resort and couldn’t be happier with our decision. BEST DAY EVER!! I have always dreamt of a fairly tale wedding and Kristin, the staff and the venue delivered on our every wish. After the tour and booking the venue, we had 6 short weeks to plan our dream wedding. Kristin made it feel stress free by helping answer all our questions which we threw at her day and night. She never ceased to amaze us with her help, patience and understanding of our vision for the perfect wedding day, not only for us, but our family and friends also.

We were planning for an outdoor ceremony at the end of October and the weather was a definite concern. We arrived at the venue a day before the wedding, and rain was in the forecast. Kristen went over all of our options with us in case the weather forced us to have an indoor ceremony. The gardeners were prepared, the boathouse was set up in case of heavy rain, and the outside was also ready to go so we could make a last minute decision with little to no worry. Both options were beautiful, however Kristen was determined to have the ceremony outside like we wanted. Although we thought that the rain was our worst fear, it turned out to be an amazing memory. The pictures with everyone holding a matching umbrella were unique and priceless. We wouldn’t have had it any other way. Kristen and the staff are truly prepared for anything so you can enjoy your special day.

It meant the world to us that our family, friends, and vendors felt at home at the Whiteface Club & Resort from the moment they arrived. None of us wanted the night to end, it was truly magical. I don’t feel as if this review would be complete without mentioning the beautiful gardens, exquisite scenery (rain, snow or shine) and wonderful staff, including Kristin who was more like a close friend helping to plan our special day.

Book it! The venue, wedding coordinator and the owner are absolutely amazing!

Our wedding at the Whiteface Club & Resort was absolutely magical. From day one we were sold on the venue's rustic Adirondack feel, and it's amazing location on Lake Placid. We planned our wedding for October, hoping for the best, as we wanted to have our ceremony outside in their incredible gardens by the lake. A few days before the wedding, we realized that the weather wasn't going in our favor. It only took a quick call to Kristin, the wedding coordinator who works for the venue, to figured out a plan B. It snowed 5 inches on our wedding day, and it couldn't have been more magical and cozy. Our guests had a blast and enjoyed a fire roaring in the fireplace, amazing food and marveled over the birch cake.

Kristin was such a great help, and helped our day go seamlessly from the ceremony to the last dance.

I would recommend this venue to anyone in a heart beat.

My husband and I knew from getting engaged in Lake Placid on Whiteface that there was no other place we could possibly get married. With tons of venues in the area, we didn't know where to start when we began sourcing them. We initially liked some of them but wasn't as impressed with their wedding coordinators and that left us looking for other places. When we went to WCR and met with Kristin - we immediately knew that was were we were going to get married! And a month after our wedding, I can say that our attendees had the best time with many saying it was the best wedding they have ever attended. From the picturesque mountains and gardens that line the venue - it is the perfect backdrop for your wedding day. The team is very accommodating on your ideas and always trying to make what you want for your day happen. Kristin is always available for questions that come up in the planning process. I don't think throughout the entire planning stage that we couldn't do something that we thought of. The boat ride to the cocktail hour was a big hit with our guests! We can honestly say this was the best day and that Kristin and her team will work hard to make your wedding dreams come true!

We definitely recommend that you book your wedding with the Whiteface Club and Resort!! The venue is absolutely stunning, the wait, bar, and kitchen staff are incredible - and Kristin Parker who is the events coordinator is absolutely amazing at her job and a pleasure to work with! She cares so much about the details of every single wedding and making sure that the bride and groom have the most perfect wedding day from the day you sign the contract all the way through. We could not be happier that we were fortunate enough to have our wedding at WFCR and work with Kristin and her team. We were married in the most picturesque place on earth - the mountains are of course beautiful, and the gardens maintained by WFCR truly take your breath away. On top of that the venues (ceremony lawn, boathouse, and reception hall) are perfect, the food was great, and there is a really awesome bar selection! It is a great feeling to look back on our wedding day without a single regret or bad memory - it was everything we could have imagined it to be and so much more. Don't drag your feet on deciding to book this venue because dates fill up quickly - you won't regret it!

Chris and I got married at the Whiteface Club at the beginning of October. We heard of the club's remarkable work at making 'one of a kind' and 'perfect' weddings so we decided to get a tour; we booked before the end. That being said, Kristin and the entire staff at the club totally blew us away, exceeded our every expectation, and topped it all off with a million and one surprises! Their dedication to details and seamless execution came through in every aspect of our special day. You start with the picture perfect venue… award winning gardens and views of Whiteface Mountain on Lake Placid tied with the boathouse, and the rustic yet elegant Adirondack clubhouse. Kristin Parker is more of a wedding 'fairy godmother' over wedding planner who ensures your wedding day is fairy tale perfect. Chef Matthew Baldwin sat with us and our families to plan out a custom menu (we ended up with tuna wontons, butternut squash and asiago risotto balls, duck confit spanakopita, a duet of crab cakes and braised short ribs – all so delicious). The entire team was professional, efficient, and clearly loves what they do. With so many options to couples, it can get overwhelming to pick, however, at the Whiteface Club should not be missed. We truly cannot thank everyone at the club for making our wedding absolutely perfect in every way!

My husband and I were married at the Whiteface Club & Resort on 10/15/2016. I can say without a doubt, choosing WFCR for our wedding was hands down, the absolute best choice we could have made. From the first moment I stepped on the grounds, I got this "pinch me" feeling about how special a space it is. I can't say enough about Kristin Parker. She is an absolute joy to work with. Despite the fact that she is obviously a very busy woman, I ALWAYS felt as though I was her priority. She has become a true friend I was glad to have by my side on our wedding day. Kristin and the staff all went above and beyond to make the day perfect for us -- including all of our friends and family. Several guests have told us in the days since the wedding that it was one of the best they've ever attended! The weather for our day was picture perfect, but even if it hadn't been, the day would have been beautiful in the gorgeous setting that Lake Placid provides. Quite simply, our wedding at Whiteface Club and Resort was pure magic. How to put into words? The scenery, the setting, the gardens... all simply breathtaking. We and all of our guests were all equally astounded by the beauty and utter perfection of the setting. And what can be said about Kristin and the staff? Again, how to put into words?! As I said to Kristin many times throughout, I was just so thankful that she was the one to be there just before walking down the aisle, guiding and coordinating the day. She genuinely loves her job and is sincerely moved and invested in the beauty and magic of your day. Even though she has clearly seen so many weddings, you get the feeling that your one special day is special to her too. Quite remarkable. Our wedding was a dream in every way. If only we could do it again next year!

Two tips I would offer. f you are planning to DIY flowers, I'd recommend having a conversation with Kristin weeks in advance to figure out the logistics of how that happens on the actual day. All went great, and ultimately, as always, Kristin and her staff made it happen, but I was definitely confused and unclear about how it was all going down day of. Didn't take more than a few moments away from the otherwise magical and smooth events, but, for future couples, definitely worth a heads up so even that piece can go as smooth as all else. Same with DIY transportation. If you are planning to have your guests drive themselves to the clubhouse and/or ceremony site, might be worth putting up signage as we eventually did. Most couples arrange for transportation to the site, so, not necessary. For us, we had our guests drive themselves there which worked great for the most part. We did have a few folks who missed the ceremony rehearsal cause some of the turns aren't that clearly marked. Again, not a big deal, easily handled, but, if you can get a heads up, worth taking care of ahead of time.

I’m a fellow disc jockey that DJs throughout New England for various events. During the wedding seasons I have the pleasure of working at some of New England’s most beautiful venues. To say the least, my experience DJing at Whiteface Club and Resort was very enjoyable. Whiteface Club and Resort has a gorgeous atmosphere, incredible view of the Adirondack mountains, and the resort’s campus allows an enjoyable walk along their vast golf course, scenic waterfront, and breathtaking flower garden. Throughout the evening the staff had great communication, and went the extra mile to deliver exceptional customer service. It was a pleasure working there, and I would recommend Whiteface Club and Resort for anyone who is interested in getting married in the beautiful Adirondack Mountains.

My husband and I don't quite know how to put into words our sincere appreciation and gratitude for Kristin Parker and staff. When you plan a destination wedding, you are more often than not selecting a venue for the setting more so than the food and services provided. However, when we chose The Whiteface Club & Resort, we got more than we could have asked for or imagined. From the first contact with Kristin Parker, it was obvious she loved what she did and was extremely conscientious in her role as a wedding planner. She was easily reached via phone and/or email and was very helpful in suggesting other vendors that would work well with us. Not only did she recommend these amazing wedding professionals, but also coordinated with them in the weeks leading up to the event as well as throughout the day itself so as to take the pressure and stress off of my husband and me. She attended to every detail on our wedding day and kept everything running according to schedule. She even went so far as to send a staff member to a local house under construction to request the workers take a 20-minute break from making noise so as not to disturb our ceremony. This attitude of hospitality and service was embodied in all of the staff. Our wedding was truly magical, from the wedding ceremony in the magnificent gardens on Lake Placid with the majestic Whiteface Mountain towering in the background, to the beautiful cocktail hour at the boathouse, and the incredible food served during both the cocktail hour and reception. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. Getting married at The Whiteface Club & Resort is more than just getting married on Lake Placid; it’s like walking into a fairytale, where you are the prince and princess in this beautiful land where everyone smiles and attends to your every need. Kristin is more than a wedding planner; she’s a friend. Thank you all so very much for making this special day more than we could have ever dreamed it could be.

Kristin Parker is FAB-U-LOUS!! She was always so easily accessible and always responded to every need in a MORE than timely manner. I don't know how she does it, but she works miracles. She has such a calming presence and her experience is above all others. She went out of her way on more than one occasion to make sure every detail was exactly what we wanted. To say she is accommodating is a complete understatement. With her help our wedding day was absolutely perfect! She guided us every step of the way from the day we chose Whiteface Club & Resort as our destination wedding up until we left the wedding reception. I am of the firm belief there is no better place to get married and nobody better equipped to take care of you and your wedding plans than Kristin Parker and the staff at WFC. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE!!

We couldn't have imagined a better place to get married. From the day you contact Kristen (wedding coordinator and resident angel.. more later!), you get personalized attention to create the day of your dreams, you never feel like a number like some other resorts. When we first visited, it was snowing, so we couldn't see how gorgeous the gardens are during their peak. But, we did see a couple who had been married 3 years prior at the resort coming back to visit and racing to hug staff members. It just reaffirmed how special this place was, that you are a part of their family. Needless to say we fell in love. From there, Kristin didn't disappear. She didn't just sell us on the place, she was our wedding coordinator and day of angel. We could call or text her any time and she gave us her honest opinion. It was just so natural, feeling like that friend you've known forever. Basically, a bride's dream! Fast forward to the day of the wedding, the weather outlook wasn't so hot. But, Kristin re-assured us that everything would be alright. And it was, we had 30 mins of non-rain to get the ceremony in and it was incredible. Then we shuttled everyone up to the club house, rather then the boat house as originally planned, for cocktails. The team at WCR made it perfect! There was even our beer canoe on the patio. O and the food... it was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked at medium for everyone I talked to and the veggie dish was a winner! By the end of the night, everyone had danced, eaten and drank their hearts out, helping us to make it a day we will never forget. Kristin and the Club is to thank for that. I can't wait to visit, like the couple we ran into, over the years and to relive the magic they created for us.

The Whiteface Club & Resort is one of the most beautiful venues I've ever seen. They are very flexible with package options and have many wonderful spaces available for a wedding. But most of all, their venue/event coordinator Kristin was absolutely amazing to work with. She was on top of everything, quickly answering every random email, providing helpful reminders of what she needed from us, and ensuring the wedding day itself went off without a hitch. It was hands down the best day of our lives, and much of the credit is due to Kristin and the rest of the team at Whiteface Club & Resort. Can't thank them enough!

Two months ago, my fiance and I woke up to a cool, misty Saturday morning excited to be saying our vows in front of our family and closest friends. The day before, we had an Adirondack Blue sky above us as the amazing Kristin Parker walked us through our rehearsal and smoothed out all the wrinkles in the events of our wedding day. The whole weekend was simply magical. We decided to get married at the Whiteface Club and Resort about a year ago, but it was not until December that we called up Kristin to ask about availability. June 11th was the only date left, and so we took it. We knew that that the Adirondacks would present us with either a hot sunny day or a cool rainy one, and we loved either possibility as we enjoy all aspects of the area. We ended up with a rainy and misty day that really added a magical ambiance to the whole event. When the ceremony began, the rain had stopped and we were provided a window of time which allowed us to be married in the garden filled with Forget-Me-Nots! Kristin was wonderful helping us put together what would be a very intimate wedding. We only asked for recommendations about a photographer, as it would be family members and friends who put together the flowers, music for the night, as well as sing during the processional. Kristin and the staff went above and beyond in providing us the most exquisite hor d'oeuvres and dinner. Since we were such a small wedding, 28 people, we were able to have our dinner in the boathouse, which afforded us amazing views of Lake Placid all afternoon and evening. The ambiance was spectacular with the fireplace glowing while we danced the night away! The cake was designed like a birch tree and tasted awesome! The Whiteface Club and Resort is an incredible venue with a mountain, lake, and gorgeous garden that is all brought to its height of awesomeness by Kristin and her staff! Thank you for an amazing day!

My husband and I got married at the Whiteface Club and resort on July 17, 2016. We had an 11am ceremony in the garden followed by brunch in the Adirondack Lodge. Everything turned out wonderful. The brunch buffet was delicious and the best part was how Kristin helped us work with the GM on getting the best bang for our buck. We really appreciated Kristin and it felt like she was always working to get us the best and she truly became one of our friends through this process. We highly recommend having Kristin plan your wedding at the Whiteface Club and Resort.

We got married two weeks ago (07/16/16) and it was absolutely perfect. We booked this venue in a panic - worried we might lose the date of we waited too long and only had reviews/pictures to go by upon making the deposit. We never regretted that decision! WFC far exceeded any dreams I had even imagined about my wedding. Kristin Parker was amazing to work with. I emailed her and texted her questions and she always got back to me quickly. She was there for every step in planning, shared my tears before going down the aisle, and was the last one to fluff my dress and take a picture with my daddy as we started our walk. She made every experience even better. The venue was gorgeous, the views spectacular, and the food delicious. Kristin and her staff made everything flow perfectly. Thank you Kristin and WFC for a perfect day!!!

I cannot imagine a more beautiful venue. Food was delicious, Kristen Parker and her staff could not possibly have been more attentive and helpful. We got married the day after the Ironman and they were extremely flexible about holding the rehearsal early so that it wouldn't interfere with the race.. All my guests kept saying they had never been to such a beautiful wedding and I have to agree!!

When you begin to plan a wedding you have a vision of how that day will go and how everything will look. My guess is that most weddings get close to that vision. The Whiteface Club & Resort exceeded every vision and every idea my wife and I had. The venue was more beautiful than we thought a venue could be. The food was better than we thought. The staff was nicer and more accommodating than we believed a group could be. There is no part of the experience from our first tour of the facilities to our multiple meetings at the venue to our taste testings to the moment we left after our reception that we were not blown away with the level of excellence and detail the staff and venue displayed. On top of all this is the WFCR event coordinator Kristin Parker. Kristin made every step of the process easy and accommodated all of our special requests and ideas. She truly cared about our special day and all the details within it. By the time our wedding was over we felt Kristin was a close friend and part of our growing family. We could not have done it without her and are so happy to have her as a friend for the rest of our lives. ~Josh & Abby

My husband and I got married at the Whiteface Club & Resort last October. The venue is amazing. Truly beautiful, and the food incredible! The chef's team took great care in helping us plan a delicious menu for our guests.

Our wedding day was perfect and the staff made it so. Kristin Parker and her team are not only top notch in executing large events, noting every tiny detail, they are caring and kind. They make you feel like family, which makes your special day all the more special. We even had a difficult guest, Kristin and her team handled everything with grace and class.

FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BEAUTIFUL VENUE! Kristin Parker, and the staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort are absolutely amazing. From the initial meeting and tour of the grounds, to the last hug goodbye on our wedding night, Kristin and her staff were reliable, accommodating, friendly, professional, and kept the entire day running smoothly and on time. Being a destination site meant that my husband and I needed to be able to rely on the help and guidance of a venue coordinator to help point us in the right direction with planning, and execute things for our guests since no one is familiar with the location. Kristin far exceeded our expectations, and did not miss a single detail. Her vendor contacts were also friendly, talented and professional. Matthew Baldwin, the executive chef created a menu that was interesting, seasonal, and out of this world delicious. Guests commented all night on the quality and presentation of the food. The ceremony grounds are breathtaking, the lodge is a perfect balance of elegance and Adirondack feel. Our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined, thanks in large part to the incredible staff at the Whiteface Club and Resort. I can not imagine a better place anywhere to celebrate such an important day.

Our wedding at the Whiteface Club was absolutely perfect. The setting is spectacular and the staff really goes above and beyond to deliver your unique wedding vision. Kristin Parker, the wedding coordinator at WFCR, is a pleasure to work with. She's warm, responsive, and super detail-oriented and on top of things, which was important to us since we were planning from out of town. Kristin thinks of everything, has a great recommendation for every question you're stuck on, is incredibly accommodating of all kinds of specific or random requests, and really seems to be having fun along with you throughout the process. On the wedding day, she and the rest of the WFCR staff made our vision come to life with lots of little touches to the ceremony and reception space. She even made sure we got a takeout box full of wedding cake at the end of the night :) All of our guests raved about our wedding, and we couldn't have pulled it off without Kristin. It also didn't hurt that we got amazing weather for our outdoor ceremony, so our guests could fully enjoy the gardens and a bonfire at the end of the night. Both the outdoor and indoor spaces at the Whiteface Club are really special and unique, and filling them with our loved ones made for the most wonderful day. We promise you will not be disappointed if you choose the Whiteface Club for your wedding!

We got married at the Whiteface Club & Resort Labor Day weekend of 2014. Living in NYC, my husband and I knew we wanted to get married in the Adirondacks with mountain and lake views. From our very first interaction via email seeking information about the venue to our very first visit to the venue to working throughout the year with Kristen was well beyond any of our expectations. To say that this venue is absolutely stunning does not even capture how beautiful it really is. We were able to be married in the most amazing garden overlooking Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. Then we had our cocktail hour in the Boathouse, again overlooking Whiteface Mountain and Lake Placid. The building where we had our reception (also with mountain and lake views) was absolutely perfect. We were calling it rustic chic, as it captured the vibe of the Adirondacks perfectly and had the right amount of class we needed for our wedding. Kristen was super helpful, informative and really made it easy to coordinate our wedding from 5 1/2 hours away. Not only did she provide us with a list of amazing vendors and then provide guidance based on what we said our preference was, but she was there for us every step of the way. I contacted her A LOT during the year, and with every contact she was friendly, helpful and got me the info I needed. I was super stressed that weekend, but her and her team were great with helping us coordinate and get things perfect. I truly cannot say enough about the ease and professionalism of Kristen and her team, and the amazing beauty (as well as yummy food) of the venue!

My husband and I were married at the Whiteface Club & Resort over July 4th weekend and could not have imagined a more perfect wedding and experience!

We have been coming to Lake Placid for many years, and we know there is no other venue that comes close to the WFC. In addition to the stunning setting right on Lake Placid, we received many compliments from our nearly 100 guests on the food, the beautiful and delicious cake, included in our package, and of course, Kristin Parker, their on-site wedding coordinator.

Kristin is an incredible asset to work with and it is clear that she loves her job, to make couple's wedding dreams come true! Every email, phone call, and many questions from me or my mom over 17 months was answered quickly and she is filled with great, creative ideas we hadn't even thought of. Did I also mention that Kristin was nine months pregnant at our wedding, and was still running around making sure everything was perfect! Truly dedication at the highest level.

We also planned the entire wedding long distance - without issue. We are so grateful to her for organization and planning for every scenario - though everything went exactly as planned! The wedding garden grows more beautiful every year, the moose lodge for cocktails is unbeatable, and don't skip the campfire with s'mores!

A very special place, and all of our family and friends can't wait to come back to Lake Placid and the WFC. We can't wait to be back there too, and look forward to reminiscing about our unforgettable wedding at the Whiteface Club for years to come.

I had known for many years that my wedding would be in LP. The WFC was the last of three venues we visited, and after meeting Kristin and exploring the property, there was no question that we would have our wedding there.
The ceremony site is second to none in the area; situated directly on the LP shore with Whiteface Mt on the horizon. Besides that, you have an amazing garden surrounding the entire area and a beautiful arbor to be married under. Even if it rains, you can have the area tented! The boathouse (cocktail hour) and Adirondack room (reception) are both very beautiful in their own right, but the beauty of the wedding garden cannot be emphasized enough.
Besides the gorgeous setting, you have the BEST coordinator (Kristin Parker) that's ever been put on this earth. Emails were always answered within a day, often within minutes, and with straightforward and meticulous detail. If you have Kristin Parker, you do not need a wedding planner. She arranged the event down to the very last detail so that everything went off without a hitch, even when she literally gave birth a mere 72hrs before our wedding!! Although she could not be there in person, we felt like she was there the whole time. She had an amazing assistant (Callie) who was there the day before, day of, and day after our wedding making sure everything was perfect. I really have to give her credit, because ours was her very first wedding that she coordinated, and she did an incredible job. Both of these ladies deserve some type of medal.
We were completely floored by the DELICIOUS food and professional service provided by the club. Although the price did seem high when we first started the process, you really get what you pay for and much more. Everyone told us about how they loved the venue, that the food was to die for, and that this was the best wedding they've ever been to! We had an absolute blast and loved every second. I can't recommend this venue enough for anyone wanting a perfect ADK wedding

From the moment I saw the fabulous wedding garden, I knew we had to get married at the Whiteface Club. Kristin and the whole team were incredibly accommodating and helpful (and patient) despite our constant questions from afar. On the day of the wedding, the garden, the boathouse and the clubhouse looked stunning. The team set up all the DIY decorations we provided and were incredibly patient with how late we ended up finishing them. Thanks to Kristin's oversight, everything ran incredibly smoothly - we didn't have any hiccups or stressful moments throughout the evening.

I also must say the food was incredible. Chef Phil set up a tasting for my mother and I to choose the menu in March (we happened to be in town for a weekend), when the kitchen isn't even usually open and we were incredibly impressed. My husband's family is Indian and Chef Phil did a tasting with my mother-in-law to get the level of spice right in the tofu curry the day before the wedding - which his family really appreciated. Everything we had was just delicious.

Our guests are still all raving about the wedding - and that is in large part to everyone at the Whiteface Club who went out of their way with a smile to help us get everything perfect. I would highly recommend the Whiteface Club to any bride looking to get married in the Adirondacks!

Amazing wedding at WC&R. What sets this venue apart from the rest is the personalized and amazing service provided by Kristin Parker, Wedding Coordinator. Also, the AMAZING views of the Lake and Whiteface Mountain.

Kristin was flexible with us and worked with us from the moment she met us a year before the wedding to make the day perfect. I was cool and calm knowing we were in good hands and that the day would turn out exactly as we planned- and it did. It also helped that we had the most gorgeous sunny day!

People are still talking about what a unique and fun location it was --- wouldn't have done anything different! Thank you Kristin and WFC&R!!!

Kristin the wedding planner at Whiteface Club and Resort was extremely helpful both before the wedding and during it. As mother of the groom Kristin helped me plan the rehearsal dinner which was in the Adirondack Cafe. I am very thankful to Kristin for all she did to help me. The setting and the food were excellent. My husband and I fell in love with the Whiteface Club and Resort the moment we stepped foot on the property. The garden is stunning, and Whiteface Mountain makes the perfect backdrop for your ceremony. The Boathouse is literally steps away from the garden and allows your guests to move on to the cocktail hour easily and enjoy the fantastic views. The Clubhouse is so beautifully decorated that I didn't feel the need to add much extra decoration aside from the centerpieces. But aside from the venue itself, Kristin and her staff are beyond excellent!! I was planning my wedding from western Canada and had a million questions.....Kristin answered every single one promptly and invited me to phone her if I needed clarification. She was also there on the day of the wedding to queue my bridal party during the ceremony, made sure Greg and I got a plate of hors d'oeuvres during the cocktail hour, and kept the rest of the night running smoothly. The chef whipped up amazing meals for our guests and the cake was to die for!!! You simply can't go wrong having your wedding at the Whiteface Club and Resort!!

We planned our wedding from a distance with ease. Kristin was absolutely amazing! She was tremendous during the planning stages and was with us throughout the rehearsal, wedding and reception. She kept us calm throughout the entire process and on our wedding day, and made sure that every last detail was taken care of. We could not imagine having our wedding without her! The wedding garden was gorgeous and in full bloom. Our guests are still talking about the view. The Adirondack dining room was a great space, and we received many compliments from our guests about the delicious food. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our guests. They were also very accommodating to the bride's food allergy. Many of our guests have told us that this is the absolutely best wedding they have ever attended! We highly recommend the Whiteface Club!

It was a perfect setting and absolutely exceeded our expectations. We loved working with Kristin Parker, the experienced and highly professional event planner at The Whiteface Club & Resort. Kristin is charming, creative, and offered expert guidance and advice throughout the process. Chef Richard created an exquisite dinner, we loved the layout of the Boathouse and the wonderful wrap-around porch that overlooks Lake Placid, and the waitstaff went out of their way to be helpful. My husband and I got married here this past August and it was amazing! The backdrop and flower garden for an outdoor ceremony is one of a kind. Kristin, the planner, worked very hard to make sure everything was organized and put together. She truly loves her job and makes being a bride so much easier! The Boathouse made for a wonderful cocktail hour and our guests loved it so much. The dining room is beautiful with great views. We have received so many compliments about our wedding and how gorgeous and amazing it was! I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who is getting married!

My husband and I were married at the Whiteface Club & Resort this past August (2011) and it was spectacular! The garden was in full bloom and Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain were in full view. We could not have found a more beautiful setting for our wedding ceremony. Following the ceremony our guests enjoyed cocktails at the Moose Lodge Boathouse and everyone loved the Adirondack style architecture and the breathtaking views from indoors and outside on the wrap around deck. We had dinner and dancing in the Adirondack Dining Room and the food was AMAZING! Kudos to Chef Brosseau! It was by far the best food that we have ever eaten at a wedding. In fact, we enjoyed the food and views so much that we returned two days later to dine at the boathouse. Further, we were extremely happy with the staff at the Whiteface Club & Resort. In particular, Kristin Parker did an excellent job helping us plan the perfect wedding day for us. She is amazingly organized and patient! She was also very accommodating to our special requests, such as arranging for us to bring in a goat cheese cake from an outside vendor and to have french-style wedding cake (Croquembouche). Chef Brosseau made the cake in-house and it was delicious! We also wanted to add sparklers to the cake to make it extra celebratory and Kristin made it happen. Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Whiteface Club & Resort - the venue and staff exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend this venue and would give it more stars if that were possible. Lastly, the Whiteface Club & Resort often works with Trillium Florist and we highly recommend them as well. We worked with Kris Breitmeyer on our floral arrangements (bouquets, centerpieces, etc) and they were stunning.

Whiteface Club was a perfect location for our wedding, blending elegance with the natural beauty of the Adirondacks. The staff, particularly Kristin, was friendly, professional and attentive to detail throughout the process. Due to rain, our outdoor ceremony had to be moved indoors, but the staff worked magic transforming the Boat House into a cozy, romantic space where we were married. And the Clubhouse, complete with roaring fire, was exactly the right space to celebrate and dance the night away. The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day beautiful and unforgettable! You will not regret booking your special day at Whiteface Club!

Everything was wonderful! The AMAZING Kristin Parker helped with anything and everything that had to do with the Whiteface Club. She eased me through all of the huge decisions (keeping the ceremony on track, determining the best schedule for the reception) and excelled at helping decide and carry out all of the tiny details (arranging everything to my little OCD's desire and even finding my husband's favorite beer....not an easy task). I can't sing her praises enough!!!! And the night of the wedding and reception, the entire staff was great! They were all so friendly and helpful. And the food was DELICIOUS! Best wedding cake I've ever tasted. If I had it all to do over again, I wouldn't have changed a thing!

The Whiteface Club and Resort was our ceremony location and it was absolutely gorgeous, the wedding garden is the best location for an "Adirondack by the water" wedding. The staff is very professional and helpful with all your wedding needs!

My Husband and I are so happy with our choice to have our wedding at Whiteface Club and Resort. Everything went perfectly. Kristin was wonderful to work with. Every vendor she suggested was excellent. She made my family and I feel so important and well taken care of. If you are not from the area I would recommend renting one of the properties at the Whiteface Club and Resort for your wedding weekend. Being onsite made our wedding a really unique and stress-free experience. I would also suggest hosting a brunch after catered by Whiteface Club and Resort; really the staff was amazing. Listen to Kristen she knows what she is doing!!!!

Kristin and the Whiteface Club in general made my wedding unforgettable. Kristin was available and responsive for the entire year leading up to my wedding, had some great suggestions and was such a pleasure to work with. I feel like she really got excited about the details of my wedding as much as I did! She clearly loves her job and it shows. Her staff was top notch- they went above and beyond my expectations many times leading up to the wedding day and on the day itself. There is not a single thing I would have changed and this is THE BEST place to get married in the Adirondacks!

We had our daughter's wedding at Whiteface Club and Resort last month and it was beautiful. Our daughter and son-in law loved the outdoor garden and that was what convinced them to book The Whiteface Club and Resort. Unfortunately mother nature had another plan, 6 inches of snow! Plan B was the Boathouse but our daughter didn't really want it there so Kristin came up with plan C that went beyond their dreams! They got married on the veranda, with the snow falling in the background it was magical. Every part of the day was wonderful, Kristin and the rest of the staff are incredible.

Aside from the fact that the venue is absolutely stunning, Kristin Parker was the determining factor in our decision to chose the WFC for our wedding reception. From day one, she was incredibly friendly, responsive, and honest. She made the entire process and breeze and was never once fazed by our questions, last minutes changes, and obsessive emails! Kristin went above and beyond her call of duty: from volunteering to help with the ceremony rehearsal at the church, to fluffing my dress before I walked down the aisle, to staying later than expected on Sunday to help us clean-up. I swear she doesn't sleep! In addition, the chef was outstanding and we had many positive comments from our guests, many of whom work in the food industry. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that wedding planning could be such a breeze - not to mention from so far away - but because of Kristin's poise, calm under pressure, and passion for weddings, this dream became a reality.

Oh where to start! The Whiteface Club and Resort is absolutely the most beautiful place to have a wedding. I always pictured getting married here and as I expected our expectations were far beyond exceeded. From the details to the amazing scenery, we could not have asked for more. Kristin Parker is fantastic, experienced, creative, flexible, and wonderful to work with. Thank you Kristin!!! We were looking for a nontraditional wedding (without the sit-down dinner) where our guests could eat, drink, dance, and simply have a great time. It was everything we wanted and more. Fabulous day! Best Venue

The Whiteface Club was our dream venue and we would recommend it 100x over. Brooke and her team were amazing the day of our wedding and we got so many compliments about the staff at our wedding. The boat ride is worth booking the venue alone- it has made for some incredible pictures. Thank you to Brooke and all the other Whiteface Club staff who made our wedding day everything that we could have hoped for!!!

Best of the best

We can not say enough amazing things about The Whiteface Club for our perfect day in June. Kristin was nothing short of the best to have with us every step of the way. She was there for whatever we needed help with, from touring the venue throughout all of planning and the entire day. We were able to customize our event for what would make it perfect for us. Our guests couldn’t get over the beauty of the grounds and the attention they put into everything. The service and the food were phenomenal, many guests still bring up how fantastic it was months later! It was the most perfect day and it wouldn’t have been without Kristin and her team!

The wedding weekend was spectacular! The venue is gorgeous with a beautiful flower garden and Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain as a backdrop. Kristin Parker is the perfect wedding planner - helpful with every detail and calm when everyone else gets nervous. The chef prepared delicious food for the rehearsal dinner and sit down wedding reception. The places to stay at the resort were fabulous.

The whole weekend was wonderful. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and brunch at the club. Every event was set up beautiful, the food was delicious and the service was great. Their wedding coordinator Kristin Parker made the whole weekend run smoothly. I was nervous about the rain but Kristin had a perfect solution and the ceremony was still perfect!

My daughter's September ceremony and reception at the Whiteface Club and Resort were absolutely perfect. The wedding garden flowers and scenery were stunning. The Moose Lodge appetizers were delicious as guests gazed at majestic Whiteface Mountain over Lake Placid. Many guests complimented the chef's dinner preparations as the best they had ever tasted. The canoe over the bar, the stone fireplace, the plaid rug, and the fire pit and Adirondack chairs all added a comfortable, hospitable ambiance. Best of all, Kristin Parker sincerely guided our preparation with a friendly, helpful, caring personality. She is a sparkling gem, and our lifetime memories remain a once-in-a-lifetime treasure because of Kristin's dedication to ensure each Whiteface Club wedding is the top of the class. Thank you, Kristin, for all you do!

I would highly recommend the Whiteface Club. The Mooselodge Boathouse was the perfect setting for our daughters wedding welcome party. The setting is incredible with the Lake Placid in the foreground and Whiteface Mountain in the background. Kristin Parker was very warm, knowledgeable and helpful. I would highly recommend this venue.

We were married at Whiteface Club and Resort on July 6, 2015 and had our reception in the Moose Lodge Boathouse. The venue was absolutely beautiful in the garden. All our guests raved about the food, each menu choice we made was exceptional. Kristin Parker, our wedding coordinator was a pleasure to work with and she was on point at every step of the planning. Everyone says that something will go wrong at every wedding, but ours was the exception. Our day was flawless and perfect.

Kristin Parker and her team at the Whiteface Club & Resort helped us have the perfect wedding! Throughout the whole process, they worked with us to ensure that every detail was taken care of. Never once did I have to worry--not during the planning process, nor on my actual wedding day. We had a larger wedding--about 160 guests--and the venue did not feel crowded. The location is unparalleled, the food is delicious and the process was seamless. I highly recommend the Whiteface Club and Resort!

My husband and I, and our parents absolutely could not have been more pleased with our decision to host our wedding reception at the Whiteface Club & Resort. Of course, the venue is absolutely gorgeous - from the Boathouse on the water, to the garden (also on the water), to the ADK Dining room, which is the perfect combination of rustic/authentic LP, but elegant. Relative to the other venues we considered, this was the perfect combination. Chef Peter is fantastic – beyond his talent and interesting experience (he was trained in Japan and made a delicious sushi hors d’oeuvre), he was friendly, flexible, attentive to detail, and answered our every request. Most importantly, the food on the wedding day was cooked to perfection and served hot -- an essential challenge for that many people. Every single staff member was friendly, professional, and helpful. A number of our guests commented on the fact that everyone they encountered was pleasant. Last but certainly not least…Kristin Parker, the wedding coordinator at Whiteface was the key to it all. We planned our wedding from afar, and could not have done it without her support. Kristin is passionate about what she does, and it shows in her work. Kristin is organized, attentive, detail-oriented, and extremely professional. She worked within the confines of everyone involved in the process, and did whatever it took to pull everything together and make things seamless and beautiful. Kristin went above and beyond to consider details that we didn’t even address, and without question played a significant role in our wedding reception being even better than we had envisioned. From top to bottom, Whiteface Club & Resort offered a truly perfect wedding experience. We couldn’t have asked for anything more, and will recommend it to anyone who plans to get married in beautiful Lake Placid. Cheers to June 20, 2015!!!

This venue is absolutely beautiful--our wedding guests were so impressed. Their wedding planner is amazing and truly loves her job. It is very expensive, but the food was great quality and the view is stunning. Everything about our wedding here was perfect.

This was an absolutely perfect place to get married. The setting is beautiful, the food was delicious, and Kristin, the coordinator, is amazing. We and our guests all had a fantastic time. The club worked with us to plan our perfect day, and Kristin was very responsive as far as incorporating our requests and ideas. She even let us use a bunch of photobooth props left over from her own wedding! The entire staff was very professional and cheerful, and our guests all commented on the great food and service. Yes, it's expensive, but built into the food cost is the venue, furniture/equipment, and the coordination that allows you as a bride to not have to worry about anything on your wedding day. I can't imagine having gotten married anywhere else - the Whiteface Club was a dream.

Such a magical experience!

My husband and I got married on July 5th and we had the most spectacular day at the Whiteface Club and Resort. My family stayed at one of the rental properties, which was so convenient. My husband and I loved the fact that we were able to customize our day so much, it was really important to us that our wedding feel very personal. Kristen Parker and her staff were incredibly professional and accommodating. It was the biggest relief knowing that I really did not need to sweat the small things because she and her team were so on top of everything. You literally could not ask for a more picture-perfect ceremony setting, the boat ride around Lake Placid was nothing short of magical, the reception space was absolutely beautiful, and the food was beyond delicious. We could not have asked for a more perfect day anywhere else.

The Whiteface Club is an amazing venue for your wedding day. We arrived via boat to the cocktail hour and then went up to the restaurent for dinner. Kristin Parker was amazing and helps you ensure that you think of all the details for your special day. On the day of the wedding, Kristin and her team did a great job ensuring that we had nothing to worry about. Our guests and family gave us so many compliments about the venue, food and atmosphere.
