Highly Professional and Skilled

We had a string trio and a pianist for our wedding ceremony music and wow- they were truly incredible. I've been to a few weddings with string instrumentalists, and the people at White River Music truly stand out. They played completely on key, there were no mistakes, and Shannon was extremely open to any questions we had. If you're unsure if string music is for you, go for it- the live music really made our wedding amazing. Even a month later, we keep hearing how beautiful the music was. Highly recommend!

Easy to work with, wonderful musicians

Shannon ar White River Music was super friendly and easy to work with. The cellist was wonderful and added such a beautiful and classy touch.

Magical experience

This string quartet did an excellent job at my ceremony. They showed up early, dressed beautifully, played all the correct songs, and made my ceremony the magical experience that it was. They started and finished songs seamlessly, and my guests kept going on and on about how they just added that something special to our ceremony. Leading up to the ceremony they were easy to communicate with and very helpful. I highly recommend this company.

We had a string trio for our ceremony and we couldn't be happier! We had two special requests, one of which was a Backstreet Boys song, and they made sure that we got the wedding of our dreams! The music was absolutely beautiful

I used the violin and cello for the ceremony music. I had some special request for my husband and they made sure to make that happen. They were very flexible and they sounded amazing!

White River Music was great to have for our ceremony! They were extremely responsive, which was much appreciated, given that many other wedding vendors are not. It made the planning process much easier! They were also flexible with us as we debated between having them play for just the ceremony or the ceremony and cocktail hour. She spent a lot of time with me on the phone going through options and how the transition might work! Strongly recommend!

Excellent experience all around. They were willing to learn music that was not in their repertoire which made our event perfect. Communication was prompt and informative. I could not have asked for anything better.

We are so happy we went with Shannon and White River Music! We are beyond happy! Very, very professional! We couldn't be happier!! Words can not express how deeply we appreciate her and her musicians!!!! The music was absolutely beautiful and they didn't hesitate to play the songs we requested for our wedding. Our first dance was amazing! We requested Dave Mathews - You & Me to be played. Shannon and her musicians didn't think twice and played it perfectly! White River Music was so easy to work with. From the suggestions on their webpage to the personal service through email conversations, I felt very confident in hiring them. The music on our wedding day was beautiful and subtle - exactly what I wanted. When comparing with other music groups, I felt that White River offered the best value. White River Music made it easy to pick out our music and the type of duo we preferred (we chose a violinist and cellist). They were responsive via email and the musicians were excellent performers. Would highly recommend if you are considering live musicians! A++++

White River Music was wonderful to work with!!! I had a violinist play while guest were arriving and although I did not here that part since I was inside, I hear it was wonderful! The part I did hear, when I was walking down the aisle, sounded beautiful. I would highly recommend using this company!!!

Shannon from White River Music was so helpful in guiding us in selecting the right instrument and music for our morning ceremony. We went with a cellist and although the musicians are able to fulfill additional song requests for an additional fee, we found the repertoire list to be full of options that we loved! If you are looking for an elegant and classic touch to your wedding for an excellent fee, White River Music is the way to go!

Shannon and her fellow musicians did a fantastic job with our wedding. I can not say enough about her responsiveness and her opportunity to make me feel at ease. I'm very much a stickler for details and I was a little worried after a meeting with our catholic ceremony music representative. We wanted a string quartet and were essentially told that was a terrible idea. Fortunately, we found Shannon. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her ability to make sure the ceremony music went smoothly and she worked with our cantor to ensure the string music provided a beautiful accompaniment for the catholic ceremony. After my musicians canceled on me 2 months before my wedding White River Music was able to step in and play for my ceremony. They did a fantastic job and I am so glad my original musicians canceled! Even on a short timeline they were able to do a special request for my entrance.

Wonderful service and the music was beautiful during the ceremony. I didn't have to give much direction and they knew exactly what I wanted. Our guests enjoyed the music during our cocktail as well. Provided something a little different before the DJ started playing! Highly suggested for any event and extremely easy to work with!

We chose White River Music to provide us with a violinist and a cellist for our garden ceremony and the two musicians did a phenomenal job setting a romantic and whimsical tone for the wedding. I was very impressed and highly recommend this company!

Shannon recently played solo violin at my outdoor wedding, she was terrific! She was a professional in every aspect. From helping choose the prelude music to accommodating special requests, everything was perfect. Not to mention the quality of her music was outstanding! White River Musicians are truly Professional, Talented, and a Delight to listen to. Shannon was awesome to work with. She was accommodating, meaning I needed a singer to rehearse with the musicians an hour before the wedding because she lived in a different city and she made things happen and therefore we had an amazing wedding. White River Music provided an special addition to our ceremony with a talented and professional cellist. During each step of preparation for the event, I felt comfortable knowing that we would have the exact selections we desired, and played at the appropriate timing during the ceremony. They even accommodated a last minute special arrangement for us during the lighting of the Unity Candle.

i would highly recommend White River Music to my friends. Liz Efroymson played the cello at my daughter's wedding. Liz coordinated the music timing with the wedding officiator. She also was able to perform the prelude to the wedding longer than planned due to the late arrival of a few guests that were caught in traffic. The music was heavenly and set the mood for a lovely intimate wedding. It was perfect.

The acoustic guitarist at my wedding ceremony was wonderful. He was very helpful in accommodating my special requests. The jazz trio at the brunch was also excellent. They provided wonderful background music that was enjoyable and perfect for the event. White River Music did a wonderful job on my special day. I would definitely recommend them.

We were very happy with White River even before they were at our wedding. We had requested a Beatles song that they don't usually play & they were able to put it together for us & make it happen. The day of the wedding the guitarist was very professional, played everything we requested, and sounded great!

They performed a wonderful array of music, were prompt and very professional. They even played a special song of our request and did a beautiful job. My father is a pastor and performed the ceremony. He commented numerous times about the quality of the music. We've suggested them to others. They were worth every penny.

Amazing Wedding Music!

White River Music did a fabulous job. I was not sure specific songs I wanted played at my wedding, but I knew songs/genres/artists I did NOT want played. Once I gave White River an idea of songs/genres I did like, they did a great job filling in the songs! White River played for my ceremony, cocktail hour & dinner. My wedding was perfect, and I would not have changed a thing regarding the music; I even made a point to make time to thank the musicians after the ceremony. :)

White River Music did an amazing job at our wedding at the Ritz Charles! We requested unique, contemporary music selections to which the White River team arranged without a problem. Several of our guests commented on our modern ceremony music - it was a hit!

White River Music did a wonderful job at our wedding, and we really enjoyed working with them! We received many compliments about them from our guests. They started the bridal march too soon so everyone was standing when our flower girls and ring bearers entered so, unfortunately, only those on the inside of the aisle got to see them walk down the aisle. They were so adorable, carrying flowers and signs too. Still, aside from that one error, the music was wonderful and they provided us a wonderful experience! We highly recommend them! :)

The pianist played more than a few notes incorrectly. The mistakes were very noticeable and marred an otherwise beautiful wedding.

Shannon was absolutely great when communicating with us regarding scheduling the wedding and availability of musicians. We had a pianist and a cellist play for our wedding ceremony. I absolutely love both instruments but when watching our wedding video, it was obviously noticeable that the cellist was out of tune and the cellist and pianist were certainly not playing in sync. It may have just been a one off bad day but I was told by some family that attended that they did notice that the musicians were playing out of tune during our ceremony.
