I am still over the moon about my experience with Ashlie and Ryan at White Raven. I booked sight unseen a year + before my wedding and was blown away when I was able to see the venue 2 days before my big day.... as in tears to my eyes blown away. It is such an incredible place, my vision was brought to life and i got to share the most special day of my life with all my friends and family at the best venue I have every been too. the package deal is a must! the cabins/houses on sight are amazing and such a good way to relax after the wedding. I cannot say enough great things about this venue... i am SO glad i took the leap and booked :) Thank you again, Ashlie and Ryan!!! -

I could go on and on about how absolutely amazing it was to work with Ashlie and Ryan! From the first moment we walked onto the venue my husband and I knew it was where we wanted to get married. We love backpacking, hiking, and just being in the outdoors and wanted a wedding venue that exemplified that. From the mountains, to the streams, and beautiful landscape the White Raven was perfect. Throughout the entire process leading up the wedding Ashlie was prompt, communicative, and always helpful in my dozens of emails and phone calls. On the day of the wedding Ashlie and Ryan were always helping out with anything they could before I could even think to ask. Helping with the rehearsal, organizing tables, and making sure vendors were set up. They made the entire process of planning and having our wedding weekend so much easier and stress free than we could have ever imagined. I would recommend anyone to the White Raven for their wedding. The venue and property are stunning, the accommodations including the honeymoon and family homes are phenomenal and well cared for, and Ashlie and Ryan are amazing owners who truly care about making sure your wedding day is perfect. -

Perfection!
Ashlie & Ryan were amazing to work with from start to finish. They helped with preparation before the wedding and takedown afterwards. The location of the venue is incredible with a 360-degree view of the mountains in a quiet, peaceful area that makes the occasion feel as special as it should. As for the ceremony site, we couldn't have asked for a more breathtaking view. The area was beautifully maintained, and the flowers and decor were stunning. They also offer other accommodations like lodging that we took advantage of. The cabins were clean, beautiful, and were able to fit our (large) wedding party comfortably. Overall, can't recommend White Raven enough for such a special day! -

Awesome hosts and gorgeous surrounding views!
Our wedding at White Raven was better and more beautiful than we could have imagined! Ashlie and Ryan were amazing and accommodated all of our needs, helping us bring our dream wedding to life. The venue has incredible views of the surrounding mountains and its the perfect place if you want to get married in the mountains. We rented both of the cabins on the property and they were gorgeous! Plenty of room for the entire family. If you're still on the fence, this is your side — book it!

My husband and I embarked on a unique journey when we decided to book White Raven Venue and Retreat for our wedding, sight unseen, and plan our special day from afar. We placed our trust in the capable hands of Ashlie and Ryan, the venue's owners, and we couldn't have been happier with the outcome.
From the very beginning, Ashlie and Ryan were instrumental in guiding us through the process. Their timely responses to our countless questions and their seamless communication of the wedding timeline put our minds at ease. They went above and beyond by accommodating a visit prior to the big day, allowing us to tour the venue in person. This personal touch meant the world to us, as it helped us visualize how our wedding day would unfold.
One of the standout aspects of our experience with White Raven was the way Ashlie and Ryan connected us with local vendors in the area. Their extensive knowledge of the region's wedding industry was evident, and every vendor they recommended spoke highly of the venue. This created a sense of cohesion and teamwork among all involved in our wedding, ensuring a smooth and harmonious event.

Absolutely stunning venue and amazing owners/hosts! HIGHLY recommend!!!
White Raven is hands down the best venue in Montana! The spaces, grounds, and views are absolutely STUNNING. Ashlie and Ryan (the owners) built and decorated the entire venue themselves, and you can tell because the amount of attention and detail that has gone into every little thing is unreal. They were incredible hosts and were so helpful and flexible throughout the entire planning process from the day we booked until our wedding was over. Cannot recommend this venue enough!!! -

Unmatched Venue
I made my boyfriend at the time stop by this venue with me before we were engaged and I fell in love. There were no dates that worked for us after we got engaged and I looked all in the area to try and find something even remotely close to this slice of heaven. Nothing came close and I was heartbroken. I decided to call back and see what later dates were available and by a miracle a date had opened up and we snagged it. It was the best money I spent for our entire wedding and I would do it ten times over. We had a destination wedding as both of our families are not from Montana but we now live here. Everyone was floored by the beauty of the venue, the uttermost professionalism of the venue owners Ashlie and Ryan and they all walked away feeling they had a slice of Montana on their trip. The mountain views, the open fields, the romantic and modern feel, the BEAR that was watching our big day safely in a tree and the peaceful river views on the way in and out of the venue is still a topic of conversation with all of our friends and family. Many of our friends said it was the best wedding they've ever been to and I attribute a lot of that to our amazing vendors and of course the impeccable experience that Ashlie and Ryan created. I love that the river is accessible so that we can fish and raft there any time we want and reminisce our special day. Ashlie was the biggest cheerleader, thought partner, detail oriented and support for me before the big day and certainly the day of. My only regret is that we didn't find a way to book the entire weekend because there's just not enough time to soak it all up! That reminds me - if you can book the HGTV beauty of a home on site for your big day, DO IT. It was the biggest help on our big day for the guys to get ready, families to relax while the girls got ready in the beautiful new bridal suite. My bridal party stayed there and it helped am lot with logistics and keeping the fun going all day! -

White Raven is the perfect spot for midsize wedding. We were able to have an outdoor ceremony and indoor reception in the fall. White Raven has everything you need to help organize your day. Our wedding party enjoyed their stay at Driftside cabin, while we had intimacy at Cliffside. -

This venue is such a hidden gem! It looks great in pictures but it's even more incredible once you see it in person. There is so much thought that went into this place, and it is so great to be in the mountains surrounded by your loved ones on your special day. The venue has many options for photos with the surrounding scenery, including the nearby river. The layout of the interior is perfect for big and small weddings and it was nice to know that it could accommodate everything in the event of inclement weather (luckily it was a gorgeous day). Ashlie and Ryan were so helpful with any questions we had and always happy to help. Can't recommend this place enough! -

Every aspect of this venue is absolutely stunning, the outdoor spaces, the indoor spaces, the bridal and groom's suites, the onsite lodging - you'll have to stop and catch your breath! Ashlie and Ryan have thought of everything and I couldn't imagine our day without them. They were both so incredibly helpful not only in the days leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day, but throughout the planning process as well. White Raven goes above and beyond! -

We heard so many positive things from our guests about how much they loved White Raven and how beautiful it was. We had some unexpected weather the day of, and they kept our guests comfortable while they quickly set up an indoor option for the ceremony, which turned out beautifully. A beautiful hidden gem with great amenities
White Raven is a beautiful option for couples like us: those who love Montana and the beauty it’s nature has to offer, but aren’t in love with the whole rustic aesthetic! Not only that, but it’s just flat out beautiful inside and out. Ashlie and Ryan are incredibly helpful and responsive (not to mention great people) - from last minute changes to day of details. Would recommend to anyway who wants a beautiful getaway for their wedding that still has all the amenities - like kitchen, bride/groom suites, and overnight options - that less tucked away venues have. -

This venue is a dream come true!
White Raven was the most perfect wedding venue we could have imagined. First of all, the location is absolutely beautiful everywhere you look, and a perfect mix of Montana and modern elegant. Both of the two ceremony sites are amazing, but the cliff side is truly unique. The owners Ryan and Ashlie are responsive and will help with any request possible. Their provided list of recommended vendors is incredibly helpful when planning a destination wedding. Thanks to them and our amazing team, we had zero stress on our big day. All of our guests raved at the location, and said it was the best wedding they'd ever been to. We highly recommend having your wedding at White Raven!! -

Best venue in Montana!
Ashlie and Ryan truly created a gem in west Montana! The venue is beautiful and both ceremony sites are gorgeous and simple, you can’t go wrong in either meadow or the cliff side. They’re also super flexible with decorations and vendors, and are always available for questions or help throughout the whole planning process. We were the first wedding to utilize their new updated bridal suite, and it’s absolutely perfect with large windows allowing natural light to come in for makeup and photos. It’s also private so the girls can enjoy the patio and take photos without your groom or guests seeing while you get ready/before the ceremony. We did not utilize the on-site lodging but we absolutely wish we did. The bride and groom cabin and the extra house are spacious and gorgeous, with the bride and groom cabin being more private and secluded. The extra house is also beautiful for getting ready in or having a brunch the morning of.
Everything was set up so beautifully the day of the wedding and about 1 month before, during our walkthrough, Ashlie took a ton of notes on her outlined checklist with our coordinator to make sure everything was ready for the big day.
I was struggling a bit with how to do the table decorations and seat everyone comfortably and Ashlie sent out a ton of table arrangements to choose from and even recommended doubling up tables for more space for the guests. It worked out amazing.
The venue is so easy to get to, and the bridge crossing over the river is INSANE. I wish we took photos down there. They also have a little shuttle to make it easier for guests to get for the parking area to the venue, and also allow large bus shuttles from hotels/pick up locations of your choosing to help get guests to the parking area. They couldn’t make it any simpler.
We couldn’t have picked a better venue to have our wedding at and we are so grateful Ashlie and Ryan hosted us!
Huge plus: they allow dogs if they’re in the wedding! -

White Raven was recommended to us by a close friend in Missoula. We got on a call with Ashlie and she was so transparent and collaborative that we knew we could trust what we saw online, and that they would be great to work with for our wedding. We ended up having to push our wedding by 1 year due to COVID-19, which was really stressful, but Ashlie & Ryan made the process simple. They felt like they were on our side during the whole planning process and in the end, our wedding weekend went by without a hitch! The venue is gorgeous and operationally so well set-up that any event will go by smoothly. They've pretty much thought of everything and if they havent, they will sit with you to understand what you need and make sure it happens (or be honest with you if something might not work). Our wedding was a same-sex, Jewish & Indian wedding. It's not common to find queer-affirming vendors who are also so racially safe, but we never had hesitation with Ashlie and Ryan. They helped us execute all of the cultural traditions we had been dreaming of, resulting in an absolutely perfect weekend that made us feel safe, seen, and joyful. I cannot recommend this venue enough for your special day! -

Our August wedding at White Raven was everything we imagined and more. We rented the venue for an entire weekend and the accommodations for 4 nights for our Saturday wedding. The venue was STUNNING - the ceremony sites and the reception hall - I cannot even describe it with words. The accommodations were also perfect for our families to stay for the weekend and great for pictures! I wish we could have stayed longer. Ashlie and her husband were great hosts the whole weekend and very accommodating for all our ideas. It was amazing that they had almost all the rentals we needed on site so we didn't have to bring those in from an outside vendor! They were also great to work with during the planning process - the 30 day walkthrough was such a great opportunity to see the venue and meet Ashlie to go over the details. They also have a list of vendors that they recommend which proved to be so helpful to us because they were AMAZING as well. This is the best venue in Montana and I would highly recommend it to any couple looking to get married in the great state of Montana. -

My fiance' and I were looking for an amazing and unique venue for our destination wedding in the mountains to share with our closest family and friends, and man did we find it in White Raven. Ashlie and Ryan were amazing communicators from the start and made the entire process of touring, booking, planning, and execution of the day as easy as possible. We felt 100% comfortable with them and they helped make our special day so wonderful. The venue is modern and rustic and the views are AMAZING. Completely unique and you have the ability to make it so personalized with the remainder of your vendor teams. Ashlie and Ryan provided us with a preferred vendor list and that was so helpful. Trust me when I say your guests will not forget this site. Our guests had to be ushered to the ceremony site because they were stunned with the location and views upon arrival! We would not change a thing about our wedding day, and it all was circled around this absolutely clean, stunning, unique venue. The cabins on site are amazing and extremely beneficial if needed. We used the primary cabin for a location for getting ready and where our family could all be together the morning/afternoon of our wedding. Ashlie was so unbelieveably kind and allowed us to ship items earlier to the venue and communicated their arrival to help ease any stress we had. Again, I cannot stress this enough, Ashlie and Ryan were amazing and this venue is spectacular. My husband and I are hopeful in returning with family for a vacation some day because we loved it so much! White Raven is truly something special. -

Ashley and Ryan were amazing!
Ashley was the wedding planner that I didn’t know I needed! With the weather being questionable that day, she helped me relax, and ensured everything would be okay! The weather ended up being perfect! She helped me make decisions and Ryan was perfect help at the end of the night. Everyone said it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to! 10/10 recommend. You won’t regret! -

Ashlie and Ryan are some of the most professional, helpful, and responsive vendors I've ever worked with. Hiring them was worth every penny, because we got a built-in day-of helper, an incredibly beautiful and magical venue to invite guests to, and overall all the amenities you could want in a wedding venue. I am from Washington, and so I planned my wedding from out of state. Ashlie and Ryan both coordinated to let me see the venue when I was in town, and provided incredibly detailed descriptions of all that was included with the venue, so that I could plan easily. Highly, highly recommend. We both feel so blessed to have been able to celebrate our big day on such a beautiful spot of earth in Montana! -

If you are looking for a beautiful wedding ceremony and reception surrounded by mountains in Western Montana, look no further! My husband and I just got married at White Raven at the beginning of August, and I cannot imagine a more perfect venue!!! Ryan & Ashlei were incredible owners, communicative, and went above and beyond the day of the wedding to ensure our guests + us were comfortable and had the best day ever. The venue is absolutely stunning and the owners put so much thought and attention into every single detail at the venue. All of our wedding guests were stunned by the beauty of the venue and all of the work they've put into it! We married in a crazy thunderstorm and the reception occurred during a rainy evening in Montana and it could not have been more perfect at this venue. The venue itself has an indoor/outdoor reception room so you literally do not have to worry about whatever weather comes your way the day of the wedding. The outdoors area of the venue is absolutely beautiful and there are trails for your guests to explore the beautiful scenery of western Montana!
I always heard that planning a wedding was stressful -- White Raven makes this so it isn't so! Thirty days before the wedding, White Raven will do a walk through with you and make sure all of the details are ironed out. I cannot even begin to thank them for this because I felt so at ease going into my wedding the month before because of the comfort they gave me that everything would run smoothly with how detail-oriented they are! The day of, everything was set up perfectly for the ceremony before me and my bridesmaids arrived, the tables were set up as well for dinner, and Ashlei was there getting everything ready for our wedding. I cannot recommend this place enough! The wedding went seamlessly at White Raven - even in the midst of unexpected weather!! I attribute that all to White Raven!
The beauty of this place goes beyond the photos on the website - it is absolutely stunning! If you are a lover of the mountains - or outdoors - like me and my spouse - this is the loveliest place to get married. I could not recommend both the beauty of White Raven or the owners enough. They made our wedding day perfect!!! -

The White Raven was the best venue we could ever have imagined. Beyond perfect & beautiful. We booked this venue for our 2020 wedding that needed to be postponed due to COVID-19. The BEST wedding venue in Montana, and beyond!
As soon as I saw photographs of The White Raven Venue, I immediately knew it was "the one" for our wedding day. We didn't tour any other venue, or even consider another one, because The White Raven was THAT perfect.
It has everything you could dream of - incredible views, immaculate landscaping, modern and classic building structures, water features, and almost everything you would need for a wedding included in a package.
The most incredible part of the wedding package was actually the owners themselves. Ashlie and Ryan were incredible. They have paid attention to every single detail, and have created a system that flows and functions perfectly. They are there from sun up to sun down, taking care of the property, details, and people. Ashlie directed our rehearsal, and made sure things went seamlessly day-of. Ryan was tending to the landscape hours prior to guests arriving, making sure that every blade of grass was perfect and in place for the big day.
This venue is absolutely stunning, the amenities were everything we could have hoped for, and made my wedding dreams come true.
SO many guests have reached out, to tell us how they have never been to a more beautiful wedding. The White Raven surpassed everyone's expectations of a gorgeous Montana wedding.
We also rented both cabins that are available on the grounds. Our wedding party raved about how beautiful it was. Everything just felt so crisp, clean, and luxurious.

My husband and I had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid-19. We ended up getting married in a small ceremony at home last year and had our reception at White Raven last month.
Ashlie and Ryan were wonderful about answering our questions, giving us solutions, and checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. Everything about this venue is perfect! The reception hall is elegant, modern, and opens up to gorgeous mountain views on all sides.
Our vendors were all familiar with White Raven and told me they wouldn't need any help upon arrival because everything was designed so well. This ultimately led us to choose White Raven, as we wanted an accessible space for vendors and family/friends with mobility issues. It also helped that the landscape and building are so beautiful, there is not much needed in terms of decoration.
Everything about our event was wonderful. Everyone felt happy and comfortable. Even though the weather turned cold and rainy, we were still able to enjoy the outdoor area and seamlessly transition inside, thanks to the open plan of the reception hall. I can't recommend this venue enough. Weddings are stressful, but I never had any worries about the venue. Thank you so much! -

Best wedding ever !!!!!!
Wow where to begin!!! Although I may be partial because it was my wedding, this was the BEST WEDDING EVER!!! All of our guests complimented the venue, views, and overall experience and couldn’t stop talking about it. For us it was absolutely perfect! I couldn’t have had it go smoother. Ashlie and Ryan (owners) were monumental in assisting us throughout the process/planning and largely on the day of our wedding making sure everything ran smoothly and was taken care of. Most venues don’t put the effort and care into your wedding day the way Ashlie and Ryan do, they MADE SURE we had the best wedding possible. I love how White Raven is affordable and how you can do whatever you want- they don’t have rules or people you have to use of theirs - you can bring in whoever you want. They do offer a vendor list that was truly helpful and we chose all of our vendors off that list- who were all phenomenal! We rented the house on property the night before to have a “girls night” and it was a stunning house. Then my husband and I rented the bungalow the night of and it was adorable/ cozy/ and perfect. I wish we could re live the day that’s how perfect it was. The views alone make it so you don’t need all the extra stuff like lighting and linens - at least we didn’t have it. You can pick from 2 Gorgeous ceremony sites (we chose the rock wall). Everything is high end and extremely well made. We can’t say enough good things about Ashlie and Ryan and the beautiful venue they created. They truly went ABOVE and BEYOND what any vendor owner would’ve done for us and we are so grateful and happy we chose White Raven! -

Amazing Venue
This venue is so perfect! I didn't even worry too much about decorations because everything there is so gorgeous already! Ashlie and Ryan are so amazing to work with and there is so much included that you don't get at other venues without the restrictions. It's the perfect place for a wedding! -

Incredible!
White Raven is simply stunning. The venue and surrounding area is perfectly gorgeous. Even in the time of covid we were able to have the perfect wedding at White Raven. Plenty of space to enjoy yourselves both inside and out. Ashlie and Ryan do a fantastic job with the venue, the houses and the grounds. It is the perfect place to spend a day and weekend. Everywhere you look there are gorgeous views and the most thoughtful little touches.
Ashlie is also very thorough with communication throughout the process. We live out of state but felt like everything was in order every step of the way.

I could not be happier with our decision to book White Raven for our wedding day. If you are searching for the best venue in Montana, you have found it. Understanding how important the venue was to every other aspect of our big day, I spent a lot of time during the planning process doing extensive research and comparison of all the major venues in Montana. I will save you the time and effort & summarize the main reasons why I ended up choosing White Raven (and why I am SO glad I did!)
1) Location - only 30 minutes from Missoula and a BEAUTIFUL drive. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. So well kept, amazing landscaping, and everything is very modern and elegant. Exactly the type of venue we were searching for. Romantic and classy while maintaining a true Montana experience and feel. We are absolutely thrilled with our wedding photos - you can't find a more beautiful backdrop for your wedding day. Guaranteed.
2) Affordability - compared to other venues in the state, White Raven is very competitively priced and is all inclusive. No worrying about renting tables, chairs, cocktail tables, lights, etc. It's all included which makes planning easy and the big day stress-free.
3) The Owners - Ashley and Ryan are WONDERFUL people. They were incredibly helpful during the planning process. Prompt responses to emails, great advice and suggestions, and a very evident desire to make your day everything you want it to be. You can tell they take pride in their venue and hosting successful events. As a bonus, they are incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and professional.
When my husband and I arrived for our initial tour of White Raven, we instantly knew it was the perfect spot for our big celebration. It was a no-brainer choice for the both of us. And honestly, as a busy bride and groom with lots of decisions to make, that is what you want. A quick, easy, and mutual decision. And that was what White Raven was for us. An easy decision & one that we are so glad we made!
White Raven has my highest recommendation and I am so grateful to Ashley and Ryan for hosting our big day. -

Our wedding weekend at White Raven was a dream! The venue and location is so gorgeous that all of our guests continue to comment and compliment on how beautiful it was. The photos from our day are so beautiful because of all of the stunning spots to take photos. I thought planning a destination wedding from Minnesota would be difficult, but Ashlie & Ryan made the planning process so easy and smooth, even during all of the changes due to COVID. They were both so kind, empathetic, and flexible while trying to make our wedding as safe as possible. Ashlie made sure the day went smoothly, as she was there for the entire day, even while setting up the venue. I also highly recommend renting both the Driftside and Cliffside cabins, as they are stunning and made it so easy to get ready in the morning and go to sleep at the end of the night. If I could do it again, I would choose White Raven every time. 10/5 stars!! -

White Raven was an absolute dream. Planning a wedding through a pandemic was not easy, but Ashlie and Ryan were fully supportive throughout the entire process. Neil and I reserved the driftside and cliffside cabins, and I can’t imagine anyone planning to get married here doing it any other way. It was so nice to wake up and have no where to go and to have the day just unfold from the same place. I had a classic day before night sleep and went into the hot tub and watched the stars change to sunrise over the mountains, it was so peaceful! The energy and environment at White Raven is so dreamy. Being from out of state, the Missoula mountains were extremely mesmerizing. Neil and I visited the venue one year prior to our date, and I can’t state enough the dramatic improvements that we saw in just one year. The landscaping, bar, dance floor, and ceremony sites are to die for! Reserving the cabins for the weekend also made it possible to set up and enjoy the grounds before our big day. I was able to enjoy a hike with my wedding party the day before! I loved the way that Ashlie and Ryan made adjustments throughout our evening that enhanced the day - Things like putting our pizza tables outside so guests would see them when no one was going inside anymore. These simple adjustments were so appreciated and made our day the best it could have been. Best Venue EVER!!
Wow. 3 weeks later and I am still in awe of how magical our wedding day was and White Raven played a major role in that. Ashlie and Ryan are so amazing to work with in every single area you could imagine. We had quite the journey planning all this during a crazy time in the world (COVID) and they worked with us the entire way through. And to top it all off it is absolutely beautiful!! Every last detail from the chairs to the tables to the landscaping. Just breath taking. We didn’t want to leave!!! Dream Wedding
This was our dream wedding venue once we found it. They have two ceremony locations to choose from, but the rock face was perfect for us! They have an indoor/outdoor reception space, rooms to get ready, a great bar setup, and so much beautiful land to explore and take photos.
Ashlie and her husband were great to work with - especially Ashlie! She was practically my day-of-coordinator; she was there to help with anything we needed. They had all of the tables and chairs set up, the necessary linens, she was a point person for my vendors, and helped keep the ceremony running smoothly. I couldn't have asked for a better experience! -

Perfect venue for our wedding
We couldn't imagine a better place for our wedding. Ashlie and Ryan have clearly put their heart and soul into this venue and are great to work with. Their prices were competitive and we were allowed to use vendors of our choice. We utilized the cabins on-site for our families and for getting ready which were new, clean, and had all the amenities we would want. On the big day, many of our guests said the venue looked straight out of a fairy tale or Hollywood movie. We would definitely recommend the venue! -

Choosing White Raven for our wedding was the best decision we made for our wedding. We flew out from Austin, TX a year before our wedding to find a venue and fell in love with White Raven. We had our wedding at White Raven a few weeks ago and cannot say enough about how wonderful it was. Everything about it is perfect- the location, the views, the entire property is just stunning. We especially loved the brand new bar that was built outside. We also rented the two cabins on the property for our bridal party and ourselves to stay at on the night of the wedding- and loved it! The houses are beautiful, spotless and cozy and were just the perfect place to end the night surrounded by our closest friends and family. The owners, Ashlie and Ryan, are so nice and accommodating and were so welcoming and approachable throughout the entire process- from our first tour of the property, to our walk through with our planners, to the actual weekend of the event- it felt like we were dealing with people who really cared about how we felt and how our event turned out, which was really nice and refreshing. We toured several venues around Missoula and Bozeman and White Raven was by far the best. We cannot recommend White Raven strongly enough and hope to return there for celebrations in the future! -

We just recently got married at the White Raven Venue, and had the most incredible experience when working with Ashlie and Ryan. We live in North Carolina, nowhere near Montana, and were worried about planning a wedding so far away. The first email I sent was immediately responded to and I was given all the information I needed to make a decision on whether to book with them or not. It really wasn't a question on whether we would be getting married at the venue or not because the pictures were to die for. During the planning process Ashlie and Ryan were so responsive to ALL of my many questions. I was not able to plan a trip to Montana to see the venue or meet with other vendors so Ashlie and Ryan provided us with a list of vendors in the area that we were able to contract with. It was great knowing who they recommended since we would not be able to meet any vendors in person until our wedding. We were totally confident in all of our vendors knowing that Ashlie and Ryan had vetted them. During our walk-through phone call Ashlie, again, answered all of my questions. The day before our wedding we finally made it out to the venue, and I couldn't believe how incredible the property was. The pictures didn't do the venue justice and I was so overwhelmed that we were lucky enough to have the White Raven Venue for our wedding day. Throughout the day of our wedding Ashlie and Ryan, again, assisted us with everything we needed from getting the tables ready to shuttling our guests to our buses. I can't speak highly enough how easy it was to work with them from so far away and how easy they made the entire process. Most brides might worry not being able to see their venue or meet their vendors until the day before their wedding, but with Ashlie and Ryan your guaranteed a most unforgettable and perfect day. I would highly recommend anyone to have their wedding at the White Raven Venue, especially as a destination wedding - you won't regret it! -

Best Venue Ever!
My husband and I could have not asked for a more perfect venue for our wedding weekend! We were engaged for two years and Ashlie and Ryan made us feel so comfortable and made the planning process so much easier! They let us come look around the venue whenever we wanted, helped us whenever we needed, and gave us great recommendations for other vendors. We ended up booking both cabins on site for the weekend and it was perfect for our wedding party to stay in and get ready. Most of our guests were from out of state and White Raven showed off the best things about Montana which is exactly what we wanted. I highly recommend this venue to everyone! -

They were always extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we might have had. They let us come out to the venue multiple times before the wedding and because of this, we were able to build a great relationship with both of them. We also utilized both the Driftside and Cliffside cabins for us and our wedding parties. This was the perfect addition to our wedding as we were able to spend as much time as we wanted after the venue closed with our friends and family who stayed. I honestly cannot say a bad thing about White Raven or Ashlie and Ryan. Everything was perfect. If we could get married here every year we would! Bailey Sent on 06/19/2018Ashlie and Ryan at the White Raven are amazing! They made sure we felt prepared and at ease on the day-of, and promptly answered all questions and any concerns that we had. We even had a 95% chance of rain at the time of our ceremony, so we rehearsed under their tented patio, and we were so bummed that we probably wouldn’t be able to have our wedding outdoors. 30 minutes before the ceremony, the rain came to a drizzle, and they quickly went to work moving chairs so we could have our dream outdoor wedding in the mountains, with no rain! They held out till the last possible second because they knew it was important to us.
They were more than accommodating, and had no issues with any of our special requests. We had a sparkler send off after the dance as we took off to the Cliffside Honeymoon cabin.

Everything from the early planning all the way up to the day went so smoothly with Ashlie and Ryan. They reallly work hard to provide exceptional service and make your dream become a reality. They had the tables and all other items we planned to use already set up when we arrived. We do not live in Montana and they still made everything very accessible and easy for us. Ashlie was willing to take myself and a few bridesmaids on a tour of the grounds in the middle of December when everything was covered in snow, because it was our only chance to see it with our circumstances living out of state. The venue itself has everything you can dream of. The indoor space is so simply elegant and the outdoor space has beautiful views as far as you can see. We had guests from all over the country and I had multiple people tell me it was the most beautiful space they had seen for a wedding. The owners, and the venue absolutely exceeded our expectations and I highly recommend to anyone looking for a beautiful Montana wedding.

My husband and I truly had the best day of our lives celebrating with our closest family and friends at this most scenic venue. (Seriously, the views are amazing, and the craftsmanship of the buildings is stellar!) Ashlie and Ryan have thought of everything to make the White Raven the best value for a wedding venue in the Missoula area. They both were tremendously hands-on the day of, and we felt they were available to help every step of our wedding-planning process. We can't count the number of times our guests came up to us to say that this was the most beautiful wedding (which honestly took little effort from us since you hardly need to decorate!) We loved that we felt like we got married in the woods, but their indoor space is just as beautiful!

Ashlie and Ryan were the best and since the first day we met with them, when the event building space was still under construction, we knew they were going to be great to work with. We actually had another venue booked, and cancelled that one after seeing how beautiful the whole venue was going to be, the exquisite land around it, and especially after realizing how in-tuned they both were with what couples are looking for with a wedding venue.
We probably went to see it about three times before our wedding date and Ashlie was SO accommodating and helpful with all of my questions and concerns. The day of our wedding, was during the hottest week of the summer. Luckily, they had just installed air conditioning where the reception was to be, and it really helped make our guests more comfortable!

Without Ashley and Ryan. I don't think this would go as smooth as it has. They exceeded all expectations. They helped clean up at the end of the night. And we're responsive in all our situations. They were super easy going. And so kind. We loved the venue. It's amazing and beautiful. And we also stayed the night in the house. I could not ask for more from them. They also, gave us space and didn't micromanage and let us bring our amazing puppy as well. I could go on, but it would be too lengthy! -

Amazing wedding venue
White Raven is an absolute dream! The venue is gorgeous and the surrounding mountain views are just icing on the cake. It is close to the highway, so easy to get too, but you feel like you are isolated and in your own little oasis. I loved the indoor area and the multiple ceremony site options. It was everything I could have hoped for. The houses on the property are amazing and so necessary for our bridal party. I highly recommend renting at least the honeymoon suite for you and your husband. Ashlie and Ryan were great! They were quick with responses to questions (even during wedding season), helpful with day of wedding things, kind and accommodating to my guests and just all around very nice people to work with.
My only regret is that I didn't book this place sooner as I would have loved the 2 day option with the housing. -

A joy to work with
White Raven is owned and operated by a couple who make planning a wedding a breeze. My husband and I always felt like they were working to make sure our wedding day went as smoothly as possible. They are incredibly accommodating and never responded to any of our ideas or plans with negativity. Instead, they are willing to help you and ease your planning stress. The space itself is gorgeous and needs no decorating if you decide to go for a simple aesthetic. It is beautifully landscaped and has the perfect dance floor. Although the property is large, it feels intimate. Our guests absolutely loved it. We also rented out both guest houses - the perfect places to get ready and stay the night. They are clean and updated, with plenty of room. We could not be more happy with our choice to get married at White Raven. -

We traveled from Missouri to tour different venues in MT in July of 2021. We loved the close proximity to Missoula, yet distant enough for an immersive/secluded experience. In July the meadow at White Raven was gorgeous, green and sprinkled in flowers. We wanted a fall wedding so we chose September of 2022. We weren’t sure what to expect weather wise, but there was no wildfire smoke, and the temperature was about 70 degrees & sunny! Obviously depends on the day there. The hosts were accommodating for mostly all requests. They were great at helping us plan out all details prior to and day of! The different suites for getting ready were very cute and fun. We had our ceremony at the meadow site and it was perfect for our intimate wedding. Following the wedding, we had so much fun driving around in the golf cart with our photographer taking pictures. There was a new indoor bar for us to utilize to avoid the pesky bees, and the guests loved it. The fireplace in the reception hall was soooo cozy! Loved the tables and chairs for the ceremony and reception. Loved the heated dance floor and heaters!!!! -

Elke Sent on 08/06/2018This is a gorgeous venue, well equiped, and amazing design taste. Traffic control was taken care of by Ryan, the owner, thank goodness ! The shuttle was awesome. The honeymoon cabin and guest house were perfect for our family to stay on site. A perfect montana experience for out of town guests. My only wish was that check out time wasn't so early. 9 a.m. was a bit rushed for 12 people, after such a late night of party fun and the bride and groom didnt really get to enjoy their cabin for much time. This venue is sure to be one of the most sought after locations. Im sure with their success they will add more staff and hopefully Ashlie will have more hands, so room turnover can be a bit later. Its a good problem when guests don't want to leave!

Beautiful Venue!
We waited almost 2 years for this venue with all of the COVID reschedules and boy was I glad we waited!! The venue is just so naturally breathtaking that we didn't need much for decor. Our family was blown away by how perfect the venue was for the celebration because we love the outdoors. The women's dressing room was updated and there was plenty of space for 12 of us to get ready which was awesome. We chose the field as our ceremony spot and we're so glad we did because it provided lots of shade for our guests. It was great to get a nice cool-down break inside during dinner and speeches since it was pretty hot this last July. Also, the outdoor patio and bar setup was so incredible that no one wanted to leave the party! Ashlie and Ryan were great to work with and had everything in place with our planner for a very smooth day of. They provided great recommendations for local vendors that we pretty much used all of their top picks! 10/10 overall experience. I was so excited about getting married at White Raven! However, I had the unfortunate experience of trying to work with White Raven through the COVID-19 pandemic.
I wouldn't recommend working with a venue who values their profits so much that they ignore a global pandemic which is killing thousands of Americans. I initially reached out to the venue to see what my options would be to reschedule. This is the response I received, "We are a very popular venue and unfortunately we have a completely full schedule for almost our entire season". When it was clear that I was not going to be able to ask my family and friends to put themselves and their relatives at risk to come to my wedding , nor would I be able to reschedule during the one weekend they had available, I asked White Raven for a portion of the deposit back, to which they responded,"The CDC guideline that we are still following is for gatherings of 50+ people, and is only a recommendation, and this expires on May 8th. We as the venue are currently not under any directives to close down and we did not cancel your event. This was your choice." Not only are they not up to date on health recommendations and willing to put their community at risk, but they are extremely unprofessional in their communication. The bottom line is that if you have any sort of personal emergency or there is a local emergency, they will not work with you to try to come up with a solution. I was already grieving the loss of our one meticulously planned wedding day, but having to deal with White Raven's awful attitude was truly devastating.
