We had a White Pines Entertainment string quartet at our wedding ceremony. They played for a period of time while guests were entering and played several songs that the we the couple had chosen for special moments in the ceremony, and it was so beautiful, I wish I could have listened to more of the entrance music! They cued well together and would also follow the speed and timing of the ceremony. They were professional, the communication with Michelle during planning was prompt, flexible, and always able to answer questions. They provided us with a list of songs they knew and were willing to learn something new if we wanted. They played a mix of pop and classical for us (our request). Would recommend for any event! -

White Pines was just a delight to work with and even more of a delight to have them perform at our cocktail hour. They were always quick to respond, they played all the right types of songs, and their playing set the perfect sophisticated and intimate tone at our cocktail hour. Would hire them over and over! -

White Pines Entertainment was the icing on the cake for our magical winter wedding. The string trio filled the room with beautiful music and our guests couldn't stop talking about how talented the musicians were. We had several custom requests and the trio performed each song perfectly. Michelle was responsive, thorough, and a joy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend White Pines Entertainment for all string duo/trio/quartet etc. needs. Thank you, White Pines!! -

We had a string quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, then a DJ for the reception. I would highly recommend White Pines for your wedding! They added such a nice touch, we did a hand fasting ceremony and picked an Irish song that was played lightly while each parent came and wrapped a ribbon around our hands. Every song started and stopped perfectly and they coordinated with our officiant so we didn't have to provide any instructions on cues etc. Our guests said they were impressed and enjoyed having live music to listen to during cocktail hour. Would highly recommend! -

Michelle played cello at my son’s wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Michelle! She has a nice process and rich repertoire, which guided us through the wedding process. Michelle responded to all our questions promptly and clearly. She is a truly professional and well-organized person. She pays attention to details and makes sure things will work out as intended. On the day of the wedding, Michelle arrived early, and played so beautifully. From the very first email she sent me, to the day of the wedding, I knew I was working with a talented musician and a professional. I had complete trust in her, and after the wedding I can now say she more than lived up to my expectations. -

I hired White Pines Entertainment as my string trio for my wedding last year. I absolutely cannot recommend them enough! If you're thinking about hiring them, do yourself a favor and BOOK THEM today! You won't regret it!
I found White Pines in an unusual way. This story is the craziest thing that happened to me during my wedding planning, but I had been working with a different group, Renaissance Strings, (RS) and they were extremely difficult to work with. RS didn't listen to me, they wanted everything to be their way, and they weren't willing to let me choose any of the songs they played, even the song I walked down the aisle to! I finally got fed up with RS and two weeks out from my wedding day I fired them (I've literally never fired anyone in my life, but they were that bad), and then I went on a mad search for a new string trio. I found White Pines and literally hired them less than two weeks out from my wedding!
It was an amazing difference working with White Pines. They listened to everything I had to say, they gave me so many options for music, and let me completely customize my day. White Pines went above and beyond for me! I was shocked at how amazing they were, compared to the previous group I had been working with. I was communicating with Michelle at White Pines, who was extremely nice, professional, responded to emails fast, and above all, I could tell that she actually cared about what I had to say, which was so welcome after having such a negative experience with RS. Michelle was very caring, supportive, and accommodating. What took me weeks to accomplish with RS was solved in one simple email with Michelle.
On the day of my wedding, White Pines played an absolutely beautiful set of music. Everyone complimented them. I got to walk down the aisle to my song, and it was pure magic. I can't say enough good things about Michelle & the White Pines team. I will be forever grateful that they were able to help me so last minute & that they did an absolutely phenomenal job! Please hire them for your wedding, you'll be so happy that you did! -

We booked White Pines Entertainment for our July 31, 2020 outdoor wedding. Upon listening to their music on their website, I immediately knew I needed to hire them to play for more time. I could not be happier with the choice we made to use them for our ceremony music and an additional cocktail hour. We had a string duet (cello + violin) and every point of their professionalism showed on the day of our wedding. They knew just what to do in terms of when to start/stop in points of all the songs in correlation to what was happening during the ceremony, and made sure the alignment was perfect. Michelle was a pleasure to work with and was so flexible with specific song requests we had. I would book them over and over again. I am so glad I found them! -

We had the violin and guitar duet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and received many compliments! Michelle was always quick to respond, and helped me out by giving me recommendations. The online planning form kept all the details organized and I appreciated that the duet came prepared and did not require anything from me the day of. I liked having the flexibility of classical music, popular music, or even a mix of the two. I highly recommend them! -

If you want a string quartet, but don't want to play the usual classical music, this group is for you! They played beautifully during our ceremony from Elvis Presley to the Beatles to Bright Eyes! They have a larger selection from this and add new songs through the years. If you want the classics too, they are play them. Can hire solo to a full quartet. Even have options for guitar and harp! They are very prompt with responses and organized. Thankful that they made our day extra special. -

Beautiful Music, Completely Customizable!
They were able to provide exactly what we wanted, were very affordable, had a huge repertoire of songs, and even offered to learn new songs that we requested for a nominal fee. It almost seemed too good to be true! Michelle Kulwicki was our primary contact throughout the months leading up to our event, and I cannot say enough great things about her. She was extremely responsive, kind, professional, and accommodating all the way through! Our trio was made up of Michelle (cellist), Daniel Winnick (violinist), and Ryan McCulloch (guitarist), and we could not have asked for a more talented ensemble. Their beautiful rendition of "Tonight, Tonight" by the Smashing Pumpkins had me choked up during the wedding party processional, and their harmonies in "Can't Help Falling in Love" provided the perfect accompaniment to my walk down the aisle with my parents. They did a fantastic job with the 1990s alternative songs we had asked them to play for our cocktail hour. They blended seamlessly into the background while also creating such a fun, relaxing atmosphere as the guests were mingling on the patio. The music this trio played was a huge hit among the guests, and their services were truly top notch! -

We loved their selection of music and found options that fit our ceremony needs perfectly. They were incredibly accommodating, as we had to move our cocktail hour inside due to humidity and heat. You should book this company. You won't be disappointed!

They provided us lists of contemporary and traditional music to choose from. We were very happy with the musicians and they were punctual and professional.
