  10/10 experience

  We had several last minute changes to our wedding since we got married on a holiday in the winter and White Pines was so accommodating and flexible. They offer a huge list of songs and are very helpful in the planning process. Overall, we loved working with this group and highly recommend to anyone looking for an exceptional addition of live music to a wedding or event!

  beautiful ceremony music

  We had a White Pines Entertainment string quartet at our wedding ceremony. They played for a period of time while guests were entering and played several songs that the we the couple had chosen for special moments in the ceremony, and it was so beautiful, I wish I could have listened to more of the entrance music! They cued well together and would also follow the speed and timing of the ceremony. They were professional, the communication with Michelle during planning was prompt, flexible, and always able to answer questions. They provided us with a list of songs they knew and were willing to learn something new if we wanted. They played a mix of pop and classical for us (our request). Would recommend for any event!

  A lovely special touch!

  White Pines was a lovely addition to our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour! The quartet filled the event with an extra special touch to our ceremony that many guests commented on positively! My husband and I were really pleased with White Pines' already-existing repertoire--beautiful classical music, and really fun arrangements of popular songs (we never expected that we'd get to have a Sigur Ros song for our wedding party's processional!). When we were deciding on a song for us to walk down the aisle to, we requested an arrangement of a kind of obscure song that we both love and White Pines emailed us back almost instantaneously--they could get the arrangement (for a surprisingly reasonable fee!) and were happy to play it for us. That kind of service was above and beyond what we could have expected. Michelle was incredibly lovely to work with--extremely responsive and informative, and dedicated to making sure the quartet was incorporated smoothly and stress-free into our ceremony. The planning stage was in-depth and thoughtful, which meant that, on the day of the wedding, Michelle and the other musicians were able to set up and get ready without adding an ounce of worry to our day. (We especially appreciated Michelle working with us and our officiant to make sure all of our questions were answered.) All of the musicians were extraordinarily professional--even when a couple of minutes of surprise rain interrupted our cocktail hour. We couldn't recommend White Pines more to add a special touch to a ceremony!

  I used White Pines for my wedding ceremony and cocktail hour. They were amazing! I gave them songs off their list not knowing which song should be played where. They organized everything and sounded absolutely perfect! I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again!

  Wonderful Addition to our Cocktail Hour

  White Pines was just a delight to work with and even more of a delight to have them perform at our cocktail hour. They were always quick to respond, they played all the right types of songs, and their playing set the perfect sophisticated and intimate tone at our cocktail hour. Would hire them over and over!

  We had White Pines play for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour and they were so fabulous! We had a string trio and the music was just beautiful! We received a lot of compliments from guests about how great the music was. White Pines was so easy to work with and Michelle always responded very promptly to our emails. Michelle was great with answering questions and she gave guidance on picking the music for our ceremony. Working with White Pines was stress-free and we could not be happier with how the music turned out. Highly recommend!

  White Pines Entertainment was the icing on the cake for our magical winter wedding. The string trio filled the room with beautiful music and our guests couldn't stop talking about how talented the musicians were. We had several custom requests and the trio performed each song perfectly. Michelle was responsive, thorough, and a joy to work with. I HIGHLY recommend White Pines Entertainment for all string duo/trio/quartet etc. needs. Thank you, White Pines!!

  Michelle played cello at my son’s wedding. It was such a pleasure working with Michelle! She has a nice process and rich repertoire, which guided us through the wedding process. Michelle responded to all our questions promptly and clearly. She is a truly professional and well-organized person. She pays attention to details and makes sure things will work out as intended. On the day of the wedding, Michelle arrived early, and played so beautifully. From the very first email she sent me, to the day of the wedding, I knew I was working with a talented musician and a professional. I had complete trust in her, and after the wedding I can now say she more than lived up to my expectations.

  We had a string quartet for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour, then a DJ for the reception. I would highly recommend White Pines for your wedding! They added such a nice touch, we did a hand fasting ceremony and picked an Irish song that was played lightly while each parent came and wrapped a ribbon around our hands. Every song started and stopped perfectly and they coordinated with our officiant so we didn't have to provide any instructions on cues etc. Our guests said they were impressed and enjoyed having live music to listen to during cocktail hour.   Michelle was wonderful to work with! She was responsive to our emails and music requests for the reception. On the day of the event, she was flexible when we got a little off schedule. Overall, our guests enjoyed her music - a mix of upbeat classical and jazz music - and it was the perfect backdrop to our outdoor fall luncheon. We highly recommend her!

I could not be happier with the choice we made to use them for our ceremony music and an additional cocktail hour.   We had a cello/violin string duet for our wedding ceremony, and they were AMAZING! It was very easy to coordinate and communicate with Michelle from White Pines. It was such an easy decision for us to book them because Michelle is responsive and attentive. We are SO happy we booked them. We received so many compliments about our wedding music!
