Amazing cake
Kelly at White Flower was so easy to work with! The cake for our wedding was exactly what I told Kelly I wanted. Every single guest at our wedding talked about how amazing the cake was and asked where we got it done at! I would highly recommend white flower cake shop, the communication was so easy, the design process was great, and the cake was amazing.Kelly at White Flower was so easy to work with! Delicious wedding cake!
We used White Flower for the design and preparation of our wedding cake for our November 2019 wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier. Kelly at White Flower was great to work with. Our cake tasting was so much fun--and so delicious--and Kelly really helped us to make decisions about: (1) how many layers we needed; (2) how best to order the layers (in terms of what flavors were likely to be most popular, etc); and (3) what design elements to incorporate into the cake. Interestingly, our wedding cake was probably the element of our wedding on which we provided the least amount of direction, but our cake came out absolutely as imagined. It was also delicious, and our guests were raving about the cake all evening. I love this bakery. I'm not a professional baker but I do bake a lot. Let me tell you, I'm not a person who likes frosting(yea, I know a baker who doesn't like frosting lol) But their frosting is AMAZING. What they can do with it and the flavor is extraordinary! They are very friendly people and although I didn't do an "official" cake tasting. They have baked goods all over that you can try. I first came across this bakery 4 years ago when a coworker of mine retired. Normally I would cut the frosting off and eat the cake is ate everything. I took people with me who love frosting and my fiancé who only likes what I bake. It was unanimous that's THE wedding cake to pick. It took a couple minutes to order they have a payment plan you can do also but for what I wanted I just paid the whole balance. We ordered our wedding cake from the Beachwood location - a simple 8" white cake with cream colored buttercream rosettes. It came out elegant and beautiful. We chose the salted caramel filling with white cake and it was DELICIOUS. Lauren was AMAZING! My wedding theme was Gatsby/Art Deco and she worked her piping magic on it and accepted the challenge without hesitation and executed it with ease! She was friendly and professional, recognized us when we went in later and was just amazing. The compliments received on taste and beauty of the cake were numerous. We chose 3 flavors: white almond with raspberry, chocolate w chocolate ganache, and carrot cake with cream cheese and we plan on ordering a new layer every year in the same pattern to celebrate the joy of that glorious day! She talked through design ideas with me of what I liked and she turned a photo into the exact cake I was looking for! Not only was the design gorgeous, but the cake itself was so good - they did a different flavor and filling for each layer! Lauren even called to check on final cake topper details the day before the wedding to make sure it was perfect for what I wanted. I was beyond satisfied with our wedding cake from White Flower Cake Shoppe. We asked for an elaborate buttercream design to be piped on our cake, and it was FLAWLESS. These bakers are super skilled. The cake tasted delicious and they decorated the top of the cake expertly with my flowers. They also went above and beyond to add striped ribbon along the bottom tier of my cake with a cute little bow! Lauren and her staff helped every step of the way from tasting to design to delivery! I didn't worry a single second that they wouldn't deliver perfection!I was beyond satisfied with our wedding cake from White Flower Cake Shoppe. We used the Solon location for our wedding cake - It was only an 8" cake because we were having a cookie bar for the guests. I coordinated everything over the phone from Houston, and our cake turned out beautifully! I wanted to hand make our cake topper myself - which was a couple of lovebirds in a nest that I found in the woods last spring... she made sure to match the cake to compliment the nest perfectly and made sure the icing matched the exact shimmery, ivory color of the little birds. I am a person that normally does not care for dessert. I was at a baby shower and saw the most beautiful cake. I tried the layer that had lemon cake with lemon icing. It was one of the most delicious things I had ever eaten. I knew if I ever had an event that I would use White Flower Cake Shoppe. Even though we planned to have a small wedding we picked a 4 tier cake with 4 different flavors. There was lemon cake with lemon icing, almond cake with amaretto icing, oreo cake with chocolate icing, and apple cinnamon cake with caramel icing. We sent over pictures of two different fondant cakes that we loved and asked for a butter cream blend of the two cakes. The cake was beautiful, it exceeded our expectations for sure. We were nervous that we purchased too much cake for the number of guests we invited to our wedding and we had nothing to be nervous about. Our guests ate nearly every piece of our cake, including the top tier which we decided in advance to not keep as an anniversary cake. So many people were telling us that it was the best cake they had ever had in their life. We decided to check them out last minuet and they were very flexible. They helped me with what color icing for cupcakes and it was a fun experience.
