We booked White Elm Films as our videographers. We had a destination wedding in Colorado and brought a photographer from our home state. The shooters that came out for our wedding were so nice and worked very well with our photographer! They captured everything they needed while allowing us to truly be in the moment. They delivered the video before the deadline and it was everything I hoped it would be and more. They overlaid our vows and speeches with beautiful clips from our day. We also got a full ceremony film and all of the raw footage to watch and cherish forever. I would highly recommend checking them out and would recommend to anyone planning their upcoming wedding. -

From the moment we reached out to the team to get more information on their packages, to the delivery of our video, everything was as seamless as could be. The information they shared with us in the beginning was super helpful, clear, and comprehensive, and they had a ton of helpful guides to answer any possible question you can think of. Whenever we needed to communicate with the team, we received in a response almost immediately (sometimes I couldn't believe how fast!). My husband and I loved that there were several add-ons we could incorporate into our package, too. You have a great package to start, but you also have the ability to customize based on your vision and needs! On the day of the wedding, the team arrived right on time and were absolutely WONDERFUL to work with! Not only were our videographers diligent in getting a ton of different shots and angles throughout each chapter of the day, but they were also warm and kind - it felt like we added two new friends to our special day. We received our video in just over a month, which blew away our expectations! The video itself was stunning. It truly took our breath away and captured the best day of our lives so perfectly. We included the ceremony film and raw footage, which was a great bonus to the highlight film. We are so thankful and cannot express our gratitude enough to the talented team at White Elm Films. Thanks to them, we will cherish our wedding video for the rest of our lives and look back on the day with smiles from ear to ear! Thank you!!!! -

I would recommend White Elm Films to anyone in search of a wedding videographer. From the beginning, they provided us a personable, genuine, engaging and professional experience. We had the opportunity to speak with them over the phone to understand their background, style, and how their team works to build your wedding video. After that convo, we booked! They are detailed and specific, and give you as a client a say in the aspects and elements of your wedding day that you care to have captured in your film. The team is quick to communicate and answer questions. Their planning tools also helped us better plan for our big day. The day of the wedding our two videographers from their team felt like friends during the entirety of our time with them, they were professional, detail oriented, engaging, yet focused, and overall made us feel comfortable all while having fun. They gave a realistic timeline for receiving footage following our wedding. We received our videos in the time promised. Our highlight film was beyond what I expected. They extracted the most meaningful elements of the day, and words shared from our family and friends and seamlessly put together the most incredible video. We have also received countless compliments on it, with some people saying it is one of the better wedding videos they've ever seen. No matter how many times I've watched the video, I still get goosebumps. We also received an individual video of our ceremony, speeches, and dances. All of which we will cherish forever. White Elm was one of our favorite vendors on our wedding day. I am so happy we signed on with them, and you will be too! -

When I was looking for a videographer for my wedding, I was looking for someone who would offer a documentary style film. White Elm was one of the very few teams to offer this so they were immediately at the top of my list (nevermind the fact that they were much more cost friendly than even the other companies who only offer 2-5 minute videos). After doing much research and looking at other weddings they had done, I realized their style was very much of what I was looking for: elegant and beautiful bright colors. When I spoke to Holly, she answered every single one of my questions and made the process smoother than I thought it could have gone. Especially considering I booked very close to my wedding and most of the deadlines had passed. We worked together and got everything figured out and booked. At first I was a bit weary about the fact that you don't really know who is going to be the videographer but Holly made me feel so comfortable that their whole team are professionals and are trained in the same way to give the best footage. And boy was she right! The team was so professional through out the whole process and on the day of, made me feel like I had nothing to worry about at all. They were professional and at the same time made me feel so comfortable (considering I am so camera shy). They were super friendly and patient with us through out the whole day. Not once did they look stressed out of frustrated! I must also mention that my photographer was not too excited when I told her I had hired a videography team, but at the end of the night she came and told me this was the best videography team she has ever worked with!!! Now the videos... I received a teaser, a highlight and a documentary video. The footage, the editing, is perfect. Each video was able to capture the most important parts of the day but most importantly, they were able to capture the joy and happiness felt by every single person that day. This is something my husband and I will cherish forever and we are eternally grateful for this team and their work. -

We'll start off by saying that White Elm Films is absolutely extraordinary and you should check out their stunning work right now. It's very budget-friendly in these times of ever-increasing costs and the whole team was just great to work with. Me and my wife were so nervous about giving the team good shots to film and how everything would work, but they were largely quiet observers who popped in every now and then to prompt us for different shots. They operate by employing many camera operators across the country, and I felt like the crew we got was very professional, kind, and experienced with shooting weddings to know what shots would work great. So as they said to us, there was nothing to worry about at all. Our final video was just hands-down incredible and more than what we could've ever asked for. It was color graded real nice and captured a lot of the feel we wanted (shots of the venue, details of the decorations, lots of family and friends, a sense of us as a couple, our silliness, our warmth, and our request not to feel too "over-produced" while still looking professional and pretty). They have such a large library of songs too and the one they landed on was just perfect for our highlight video. We even requested an edit to swap out something and they did a wonderful job doing that while still capturing the feel. We felt so taken care of throughout the whole event and even when we had to switch the day of filming to another day (due to a venue issue), White Elm Films had our back and was incredibly flexible and empathetic to our needs. I could go prattling on about how good it was to work with the entire team, but you should experience it yourself by giving them a shot. If you're anything like us, it'll wow you and you won't regret it. -

Video wasn't top of our priority list when planning our wedding, but once we met with White Elm Films we knew we had to move forward. And let me tell you, it was one of our best decisions. They were SO organized, so on top of it, and made sure they got all the shots we asked for. We just got our film back and it's edited BEAUTIFULLY. It captures the entire day in just a few minutes and I felt like I relived our entire wedding. The editing was impeccable and included just enough voice overs and music to make it feel uniquely yours and not too cinematic. It surpassed all expectations and we're so grateful. -

I cannot recommend Arbor and Ivory enough. Having a videographer was very important to us and I spent hours scouring the internet trying to find someone who matched what we were looking for. My husband & I are so glad we hired White Elm Films to capture our special day. Hiring a videographer was one of the final decisions we made so we did not have a huge budget for it, but White Elm Film's structure and pricing were a great fit. Our wedding was May 2023 in San Diego, and the local videographers we had onsite were very professional from start to finish, and very friendly! They did a great job capturing special, little moments throughout the day. Our final Highlight video and Ceremony video were beautifully edited, and received as promised, 16 weeks from the wedding date. We would recommend White Elm Films to other couples looking for timeless wedding videography! -

Communication was seamless, they covered all the details and asked all the right questions (especially the ones I didn't even know to ask!). Do yourself a favor and read the FAQs and tips they send you! Our team on the day of was incredible. They were friendly, fun, professional, and I hardly knew they were there. I was worried I might feel like I had a camera in my face all day long, but that couldn't be further from the truth. They were discreet and captured so much our day beautifully! Our film was beautiful! Getting a full edited ceremony, toast, and dances films was such a nice add. As a type A bride, I was a little nervous before the wedding as the communication was always just to review the contract, and not very personal responses. However, they blew me away with hospitality on our wedding day and were truly there to help us with everything we needed. Overall good experience. -

I want to start by saying - this review is written with factual information, and very little emotion or heavily weighted opinions. My goal is to only provide my experience with White Elm films as transparently as possible.
My husband and I booked White Elm Films in October 2022 for our July 2023 wedding. From the start Holly (co-owner) was very responsive and provided a lot of information about when they needed certain information by (song selections, day of details, etc). I appreciated how everything was laid out on the table. A large reason why we chose White Elm was because of their transparency, a package that could meet our needs, and of course, we loved the product that we saw. At the time we booked White Elm, they had 5 (or nearly 5) stars across Google, TheKnot and Wedding Wire, as well as a glowing review from a friend who had used them for her wedding.
Our wedding day - I could not speak more highly of our videographers. They were ontime, extremely friendly, fun to work with and captured the best moments of our lives.
Post wedding - The Monday after our wedding we received an email from White Elm stating everything was underway and to refrain from contacting White Elm during the editing process. Our agreement stated "Delivery of all final products will be delivered concurrently digitally to the Client within 16 weeks of the event. THE CLIENT AGREES TO MAKE NO REQUESTS FOR UPDATES OF DELIVERY WITHIN 16 WEEKS OF THE EVENT as such requests cannot be answered and will serve only to slow down the delivery process". So we waited for 15 weeks and 6 days without contact. Everything was due to us on Saturday, November 18. On Friday, November 17, I had contacted White Elm via the portal stating we were excited to see our film, specifically not asking for updates, as that is what the contract requests. Sidney responded within one hour stating that our film was delayed due to editors being out sick, we would be compensated for the extent of delay & that she would follow up with an update. On December 15, we wrote back requesting an update to our video, within 2 hours Holly responded stating that Sidney no longer works for White Elm, and that there had been significant communication issues on their end, to which she was apologetic for. However, we did not receive any update to the status of our film. On December 23, we wrote back asking for an update requesting our video within 2-3 weeks. No response. On January 8th, we requested another update on our video.
On January 9th (7.5 weeks late), we did receive our documentary film, raw footage, and a $200 refund. Our final products; 5 minute highlight film, full 1+ hour documentary film & 5 hours of raw footage were all beautifully done and captured our day perfectly. At the end of the day, we are in love with our video, and so beyond happy we have it. My husband and I are both equally frustrated with the delay, as we are happy with our results. During our delay period, we planned several different "viewing parties" with our families, which continuously got canceled, which was heartbreaking. Would I want any other bride and groom to experience this? No, but at the end of the day, we did get a beautiful product that we can hold on to the rest of our lives.
By reading some of the more recent reviews, it is obvious that White Elms is having internal issues they are trying to work through. It is unfortunate to see people ripping this company to shreds for a late product. At the end of the day, we paid for the service we got, and love it.
If you believe White Elm is the best fit for your day, then I encourage you to move forward with caution knowing what is potentially on the other side.

We really enjoyed working with White Elm for our wedding. We originally didn't think we'd have room in our budget for a big videography production, but White Elm was the right balance of service and cost for us. Their model of contracting with local videographers for wedding day was a little different for us, but we were impressed with how consistent their editing style was across multiple shooters. We loved watching our video to relive our special day and are grateful we have these memories for years to come. -

Four weeks past the original deadline, and we still don’t have our films. White Elms has failed to meet their own contract and they don’t care.
Our day-of videographers were timely and professional, but everything else about this experience has been beyond disappointing.
We decided to invest in wedding videography because a family member was diagnosed with cancer and would not be able to attend the wedding. This was a big decision for us but we knew it would mean so much to have this footage to share with those who could not be there.
All communications with White Elms has been impersonal and minimal. During the wedding planning, I did not think too much of it. But once the 16 week deadline for the film came and went with no word, I was worried.
White Elms only responds to every other email with short, vague responses. Other than apologizing for delays due to editors being out sick, they have made no efforts to make this up to us.
Overall, I cannot stress enough how disappointing this service has been. And to make matters worse, it truly seems that White Elms does not care. -

I do not recommend white elm films. This does not pertain to their videographers that are outsourced but the company itself and its owners. It has been more than 16 weeks from our 9/2023 wedding and they have not given us any wedding footage as stated per contract. The owner, Holly, sent me an email placing blame on her project manager for not abiding by the 16 week due date stated in our contracts that our videos would be delivered. We still don’t have any videos and she refuses to put a set ETA on it. The worst part is that her and her husband are travel vloggers and they have been posting new travel videos daily. In other words, they prioritize their travel and taking money from couples as opposed to prioritizing the wedding videos that so many couples have not received. We are seeking legal council for this mess if they do not give us our footage or give us a full refund. A wedding is a special once in a lifetime thing for us and thanks to white elms, we have no videos of it. AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, HORRIBLE company.
