Melissa took great care in making our day seamless & all about living into the moment. She was super prepared in the planning - making sure we were on board with ideas for where we could take photos, timing for her arrival and how to organize costume changes. She arrived early, provided amazing enthusiasm, love & focus and captured incredible shots. We are so glad to have worked with her! -

The experience we have had working with Melissa and her husband has been wonderful. I cannot thank them enough! Not only have our photos come out AMAZING, but they have gone above and beyond. From our engagement shoot in the Marin headlands, to our elopement in SF, the photos are incredible! Melissa has scoped out each location, told us when the best time of day will be to get the best shots, and she does not disappoint. Melissa was one of the first vendors we booked for our wine country wedding and she did not disappoint! Melissa was incredibly responsive, working with me from day one to co-create a timeline to ensure we captured all the important moments as well as our planner. Day of Melissa was direct, kind and a great energy to have with us. Our families can be a lot to wrangle and she effortlessly kept the order with a smile on her face. To our excitement she quickly turned around a sneak peak as well as all of our photos. They exceeded our expectations, captured so many candid moments and we'd love to work with her in the future!Whiskey & Champagne's reply:

It's like being photographed by a talented friend
We are so lucky we found Melissa to be our wedding photographer. She is super friendly, easygoing and has an infectious love for love! Both my husband and I are not big into posing for photos and Melissa made it easy for us, by just capturing the moments as they happened. Even our couples-wedding shoot felt natural and the results are outstanding. I can't recommend Melissa enough. We may have met as photographer and to-be bride & groom, but I feel like I also found a friend, who will be invited to all our special occasions to partake and capture the memorable moments!Whiskey & Champagne's reply:

BEAUTIFUL engagement and wedding photos!
We absolutely LOVE Melissa. She photographed both our engagement and our city hall wedding and we instantly fell in love with all the great shoots she got of us.
Melissa is flexible, dependable, approachable and above all else talented. Her patience and easy going personality made our experience memorable. We just loved how comfortable she made us feel. From the start to the end, Melissa made everything easy and enjoyable. She was quick to respond to all my emails and had a quick turn around with delivering the photographs!

Melissa captures our intimate city hall wedding and Healdsburg reception perfectly. She was attentive and knowledgeable on all the can’t miss photo op spaces, caught beautiful lighting and didn’t miss a candid moment. Photos came out perfect and with such a short turnaround! We had a lovely experience with Melissa. Mine was a small wedding, and the lights of the day (noon in a hot and wet day of July in Florence) could have been a trial even for the most skilled photographer. My relatives do not speak English, nor my husband, and I didn't know Melissa personally before that day, although a dear friend whom I trust had recommeded her.
She was a discrete presence, never intrusive, only kind and professional. The pictures were awsome, she understood my own inner self without knowing me. her ideas of the city in the background were original and effective. A fairWhiskey & Champagne's reply:

One of the best decisions for my wedding!
Melissa was more than I could have hoped for as our photographer! Melissa was friendly and super natural. She didn’t get in the way and ask us to pose awkwardly. My husband isn’t thrilled about picture taking and she was able to get our pics done super quickly. She took lots of candid shots and made sure to capture all of my family and friends. On top of that, she was a lovely presence on such an important day. Even my guests commented on how friendly and sweet she was.
And the pictures?! Breathtaking! She edited them super quickly and I’m obsessed! Everyone loves them. I’ve even had married friends say they were jealous their pictures weren’t like mine.
