Whisk and Paddle is amazing! We ordered a champagne Strawberry cake for our wedding day and it was so beautiful and delicious! I love that they bake you a mini 4 inch cake on your one year anniversary, free of charge! My husband and I are so grateful for their professionalism and care they took in baking our cake for our wedding day, it looked beautiful and it makes looking back on the photos so special. Highly recommend! -

Everyone RAVED about the delicious strawberry and champagne layer where we also added raspberry preserves. It was absolute perfection! I also fell in love with a very simple, elegant style that was made with fondant, but, personally don't like the taste of fondant. Holly & Erica were willing to try it out on buttercream. The TEST cake looked beautiful but the actual cake on delivery was AMAZING and exactly what we envisioned. We also ordered chocolate tartlettes and dessert shooters for guests wanting something besides cake and they DISAPPEARED. Everyone raved at the fantastic offerings. These ladies made the experience wonderful. They also delivered all the way to Peoria for a reasonable charge. I absolutely would not hesitate to recommend this perfect wedding dessert bakery 100%. I can't say enough good things about the experience all the way around! -

Whisk and Paddle made our cake and macaroons for our wedding at The Paseo. The owner, Erica, was wonderful throughout the whole process. From cake tasting, coming up with the design, answering questions, and finalizing before the big day, Erica was very responsive and helpful. Our vintage cake design ended up being exactly what we pictured and couldn’t be more greatful! -

We used Whisk & Paddle for our wedding deserts (at the Landmark). We did a small wedding cake and a desert spread (cupcakes, brownies, cookies, smores tarts). All the deserts were delicious and our guests loved having a bunch of different options instead of just 1 big cake. Whisk & Paddle were great to work with, very communicative over email. We would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking to cater some deserts! -

Blown Away!
Erica and her team absolutely worked wonders on our cake for our wedding day. From the initial consultation to the finished product and everything in between, Erica was very flexible and willing to meet our many requests. We made a last minute decision to change our whole cake design a week before the wedding and she met the challenge unphased and executed on our vision FLAWLESSLY, it truly blew the Pinterest inspo out of the water. She was very understanding of the many challenges that come from organizing a wedding and was very flexible with her timeline as ours kept changing constantly. We were absolutely in love with how our cake turned out and are very happy to have picked Erica and the Whisk and Paddle team to bake our cake. If you’re looking for a great bakery that will meet your needs and do so flawlessly, Whisk and Paddle is the place to go. -

The ladies at Whisk & Paddle were amazing! Our wedding cake and desserts were absolutely delicious. We did a small 2-tier cake for the wedding party and did a dessert spread for our guests (tiramisu shooters, cheesecake bites, cookies, and s'mores tarts). Our guests asked which desserts they should try and I could only tell them EVERYTHING. Our original plan for our desserts fell through and we found whisk & paddle two weeks from the wedding- they were so flexible and understanding and made amazing desserts even with the short timeframe we gave them. 10/10 would buy desserts from them again! -

It was such a blessing when our wedding venue had us choose from 2 bakeries as part of the package they offered. Not only did we end up with an amazing cake but we didn't even have to do any of the work of finding this fantastic bakery! The cake was perfectly simplistic on the outside and absolutely delicious on the inside with a different flavor for each tier. The additional cannolis we also ordered were so good. They even asked how heavy our topper was and added extra supports to make sure it was supported, something I wouldn't have even thought about! -

We did a dessert bar for our wedding and all the desserts were amazing! From the donuts, brownies, cheesecake and cake pops to the churros 10/10 recommend Whisk & Paddle. Sue Jacobs is a sweetheart who makes the most delicious sweets!
We had a dessert bar with a beautiful two tier cake, cheesecake bars, churros, & donuts. We ordered extra dessert for our party size, and holy cow, it was almost all gone! I thought I’d have extra EXTRA for myself afterwards. Everyone was asking where her bakery was and how they could get some more to go!
The cheesecake was especially a hit, which was great because it’s my husband’s favorite.
She remained very flexible through our covid postponement and this busy wedding season. She was a delight to meet and sample cakes with.
So, in short I highly recommend!

Sue Jacobs is so fun and bubbly. She was awesome to work with, created my design beautifully and it tasted amazing! I thought her flavors tasted authentic and real. The cake was moist and did not disappoint. I would recommend her for any cake/bakery needs. -
