With just a quick glance at her portfolio it's easy to tell that Jessica is an amazing photographer. What we loved about working with her is what you don't get see until you meet her. She has an amazingly FUN personality and projects a feeling of calmness and reassurance that made us feel relaxed and comfortable even on the most stressful and exciting day of our lives. She really listened to what we wanted for our wedding which was to capture the moments between us, and our loved ones and she didn't let us down. She is also ready to roll with your crazy ideas and themes if you have them. From our half Star Wars, half Alice in Wonderland engagement shoot, to getting down on the dance floor with us at our wedding, we couldn't have imagined having anyone else, but Jessica. If you're looking for someone who can perfectly balance professionalism, artistic styling, and someone who will direct even the most awkward and unphotogenic couple, she's the one or you. We really feel like we had so much more than just a great photographer and couldn't recommend her more. We're so grateful for all of her hard work and amazing talent. -

Jessica was an absolute blast to work with! My husband and I are big Star Wars nerds. When we told Jessica that we were going to have some Star Wars decor at our wedding, she jumped right in and got the most CREATIVE and AMAZING shots! I highly recommend hiring Shutterenvy. It was so affordable (for a teacher and social worker) and we got so many terrific candid pictures that perfectly captured our day. -

Fun, fast, helpful!
Jessica has a creative and free personality which makes her photo sessions really fun!
Jessica blows me away with her turn around time. For both our engagement photos and bridal portraits, she had them viewable within a few days!
She was really helpful when we had no idea where we wanted to take engagement photos or what to wear.
The quality of the pictures always turned out amazing! -

We love working with Shutterenvy !! She is so nice and really listens to what you are wanting out of your pictures !! Our pictures are not over edited and she has such a great eye for capturing all the special moments! She can do it all we had maternity, newborn & a holiday family shoot done with her and she is great at all of them ❤️ -

Jessica shot adventure engagement photos for us in Colorado! She was so fun and easy to work with. We are not naturally very photogenic and felt kind of awkward going in front of the camera, but she gave us such great directions/tips and kept us laughing the whole time, it made the whole experience so enjoyable. She has such a great eye for angles and is willing to go the extra mile for a good shot. You can tell she really loves what she does. She got us our photos super quick as well! You won't regret hiring her! -

I found Jessica Al-Khalifah through an article on Keep Weddings Weird and not only is she amazingly fun to work with, but she also had the best prices (before we contacted, husband-to-be and I searched a bunch of event photographers in Texas and no pro beat her price; for $1,800 we got 6 hours of wedding coverage that yielded 512 photos and a one-hour engagement shoot that actually turned into two hours with fun chitchat and yielded 84 photos). There were some technical SNAFUs regarding websites and online photo galleries, but she worked with us and we did get our photos in the end! She was very understanding of the way the pandemic messed with scheduling and various wedding stresses and helped mitigate some of that crazy.
Speaking of crazy, if your wedding is even a little offbeat, I strongly suggest Jessica! She's open to some weird and silly business: my own dress included a furry tail instead of a train, thanks to some jokes with my husband, and this did not phase her one bit. We had a ton of fun.
One thing of note: her editing style tends to wash out yellows a bit (and possibly oranges and reds as well to a lesser extent). While this is flattering to my almost-albino-tends-to-redden skin, it turned the "yellow rose of Texas" in my flowers to more of a buttercream than gold (still pretty, just not true-to-life). But, my bridesmaids' green dresses came out top notch, something I could never seem to get a cell phone photo to capture! -

Angie Sent on 10/28/2016Jessica and her assistant did a great job shooting our wedding for the few hours we hired them for. Our outdoor wedding took a different turn when it started to rain but she was able to capture some beautiful shots after the fact that had great detail (down to where you can see as the raindrops were coming down). She came up with alternatives and solutions if something didn't go according to plan, which it didn't, so we really appreciated that. She was relaxed, tried to have fun with it. Very artistic. We enjoyed working with her.
