  The band was definitely one of the most special parts of our wedding. They were fabulous, and I would recommend them to anyone to use for their event. They were great to plan with before the wedding, and on the day of, they just added to the great atmosphere of the wedding. Wendy and Jonathan (the singers) are so talented and I am so glad we hired them to play at our wedding. They even learned some special songs just to sing for us!

  If you are looking for a young, fresh, modern bluegrass band, look no further than WestWend! No way we could have chosen a more perfect band for my daughter's wedding. Everyone went on and on about them. Just fabulous!

  Beautiful music! Could not have asked for better! They played for my ceremony (acoustic) and my reception. Many of the guests commented on them and enjoyed them very much!

  We contracted WestWend for our ceremony and reception music. They were fabulous! Very quick to respond to emails, flexible with song choices, and very personable. Our venue came with some exclusions for music because of it's historic and urban location; however, WestWend worked with the venue coordinator to make sure they were able to follow the rules and still give a great performance. When our wedding day venue changed one hour before ceremony started due to rain, WestWend was able to quickly adjust to the change and still provide exactly what we wanted. Several of our guests commented on their sound as, "the cleanest bluegrass" they have ever heard. Truly a special group that was perfect for our celebration. We would highly recommend WestWend for any music needs. Can't wait to see them perform again.

  WestWend Left Us Hanging in the Wind

  Jonathan of WestWend contacted me after reaching out thru Weddingwire and committed to playing at our wedding in October and said he put us on the calendar. However after a month of following up every other week and requesting a contract prior to sending a deposit he cancelled on us. He had excuse after excuse and invited us to keep following up and kept saying he would send it the following week. At one point he suggested we go ahead and send the deposit without the contract. We were more than patient and understanding of his commitments, but anyone getting married can fully understand the importance of locking in booking dates with contracts. We are really disappointed because we like their music and story and it was a relief to lock in that portion of the wedding plans. I would not recommend WestWend because you can't count on them and the worst thing you want on your special day is for the entertainment not to show up.
