10/10 amazing experience with the Weston Red Barn Farm! Carol was AMAZING to work with. Nah, the whole staff was beyond amazing. I would definitely recommend them to any couple who’s looking for a wedding venue!

Book early! We booked 6 months out and had toget married on a Monday because there wasn't much else available! But we did save a lot by getting married on a weekday.
Donavon, the owner, is easy going and a pleasure to work with.

Donovan and his team were so helpful! We weren't sure if we were going to be able to keep our original date and he made sure to contact us and let us know what they were able to do for us. We ended up being able to keep our date and it was beautiful!

Such a fabulous venue to have your wedding at! It is stunning on the inside with the white washed wood and the Edison bulb lighting. Donovan and all who work there are fabulous hosts. One of our first choices and it was one of the best!

I had my wedding at the Red Barn dark on 10/12/19 and it was absolutely perfect. The venue was beautiful and the staff was amazing. Any questions we had the staff helped out with a smile on their face. All staff members went above and beyond to help. We were worried about grandmas having to walk so far to the ceremony and without hesitation staff offered rides on their cubota. We were worried about heating the venue the day of and a staff member called a company and did all the work to get us some heaters to rent. This venue has a couple year wait, but it was totally worth it. I really had an amazing experience.

Weston Red Barn Farm is hands down one of the most beautiful wedding venues in the Kansas City area. We chose the Timber Barn to have our wedding and reception and it was a stunning outdoor setting that felt like we were off the grid. Donovan is an expert at weddings and receptions and helped us so much, from the table set up to all of my little questions, he was responsive and kind throughout the whole process. Our wedding was a dream and I can't imagine having it somewhere else than the Timber Barn!

I'm so happy we used this venue. The owners are absolutely amazing and make you feel like family. They help with anything the possibly can and are willing to do anything. And to top it all off, the venue is gorgeous! We had so many compliments about how beautiful everything was! We love The Weston Red Barn Farm!

I grew up going to Weston Red Barn Farm during the annual Applefest. It is the first place I thought of when I got engaged. My fiancé (now husband ) fell in love with the Timber Barn immediately, just like I hoped he would. It was designed with thought from every angle, barely needs any embellishment & is so versatile, not to mention to AMAZING views no matter what direction you face!
We planned this wedding long distance (from Los Angeles) over two years. Donovan was fantastic about communicating from the day we committed. He was very flexible with allowing us to visit multiple times, very clear about about to maximize our time & space & on the wedding day, I found he was a positive presence who seemed just as enthusiastic about the wedding as we were (despite the fact that we does this multiple times a weekend every weekend).
The wedding was everything we wanted it to be & more. At the center of it was this fantastic barn on a hill. I highly recommend Weston Red Barn Farm.

Our wedding was PERFECT thanks to Donovan and the staff at WRBF. They were not only amazing throughout the process but helpful and accommodating the day of the event. They recommended vendors to us that were incredible and that we would recommend ourselves. The venue, the recommendations, their attitudes, and the price were the value of a lifetime.

Our wedding was PERFECT! Donovan and his staff were professional, friendly and responsive from the moment we contacted them for a tour of the barn. Donovan showed us around the whole farm and gave us the history - we really felt like he was invested in making our day special. Every time I had a question Donovan or his staff would get back to me in a timely manner. He met with us multiple times to help us hammer out the details of the day. Donovan's family was at the barn on our wedding day to give their congratulations - they are a very nice family to work with! Beyond the great service, we could not have found a more beautiful setting in Kansas City. The barn and ceremony site overlook a lush apple orchard - it was truly magical as the sun set. Our guests were raving about how gorgeous it was! We are so glad we had our wedding at Weston Red Barn Farm and will cherish the memories we made that day for the rest of our lives. Would highly recommend!

We had my daughters wedding here a few weeks ago. I can't say enough good things about this venue! The family was wonderful! Everything we needed was taken care of immediately and with a smile! The ceremony and reception were just beautiful and went perfectly!

If you are looking for the most incredible family to work with (Donovan is the guy!), very affordable prices, breathtaking views, and rustic chic venue...this place is perfect! We had an April wedding, and we were envisioning a place that was not quite the typical ball room setting, but still have that fancy feel. We fell in love with this barn and the character it carried. Not only that but the scenery was perfect. Our guests were raving at how amazing it was! Please make an appointment if you are looking for a venue and visit with Donovan. You will be blown away!

They are such a nice family to open their home to everyone. The farm is beautiful and they had ideas to offer for our wedding day, and will have staff on duty to help on the day of our wedding. We are so blessed to have found them.

Definitely book this vendor! It was an excellent experience. The owners of the farm were extremely courteous, kind, and accommodating. I got married in the Timber barn and it was exquisite! A definite must!

If you are looking for a venue where you will NOT have to spend hours decorating, this is the place! For our wedding all we did was decorate the tables. The barn did the rest!! The Red Barn Farm staff was amazing to work with! Very friendly and they definitely are there to serve you on your special day. I highly recommend having your wedding at the Weston Red Barn Farm!

This venue is picture perfect for your rustic wedding! My wedding was better than I could have ever dreamed of. We had our ceremony & reception at the Timber Barn. All of my guests gasped about how beautiful the space and scenery. Donovan was awesome with helping me plan the day, the floor plan, and order of events. He let me go to the barn many times to see the space!! The tables and chairs are provided and set up prior to decorating. We had the space for our Rehearsal the night before which gave us plenty of time for practice and set up. I cannot wait to see my photos!

I cannot say enough good things about this venue! The timber barn is absolutely beautiful and the owners went above and beyond to help in any way they could and make sure everything was perfect.

My daughter got married in July in this venue. The temperature wasn't too bad at all in the barn! I think that October would be the absolute best time to use this venue, but really, any time would be fine. It is absolutely beautiful! The views of the rolling hills is stunning!

My husband and I could not have imagined a better venue! We so enjoyed our day here, and we would book this place again in an instant. The family truly wants to make all of your dreams into a reality on your big day. They treat you like family from the moment you tour the barns. We booked Timber Barn, got married outside the barn, and had the reception inside. Beautiful views, beautiful atmosphere. Book this place! You will not regret it!

Great wedding venue for sure! The view is gorgeous, the property is well maintained, both barns are gorgeous, and have nice restrooms and a catering area. Donovan and Steve are great to work with too. They also have a large staff of folks to help with clean up at the end of the night, which is certainly not the case in many other venues.

We got married here on 11/07/2015. It was beautiful! We got married in the new barn, which is fantastic! They made planning so much easier for us. They were very quick to respond to e-mails and phone calls, always very friendly, and always professional. The venue is absolutely stunning and they help so much, whether it's setting the tables up or cleaning up afterwards. They helped make our day go by easy and of course we will always remember our day when we visit the barn.

Weston Redbarn Farm was amazing!!! A beautiful scenery, awesome staff who was always willing to work with us and super friendly, and family owned!!! I truly loved my wedding and largely due to Weston Redbarn Farm. Word of advice to all brides-gets tried at Weston Redbarn Farm!!!

The Red Barn Farm is the reason I was able to have the wedding of my dreams.
The ceremony site is nestled between apple trees on a hill overlooking a beautiful expanse of land and open sky. The barn is stunning on its own without any decorations. The space is large and guests can roam freely in and out with the wrap around porches and huge open windows.
Not only was the location wonderful, but the staff was equally as wonderful. I felt like a priority from the moment I booked the site all the way through my wedding day. The staff pointed me in the direction for all of the other vendors I used which I couldn't have been more pleased with. I felt cared for like family.
Truly, I cannot say enough good things about the Weston Red Barn Farm and everyone who is on staff. I guarantee you will love this venue too.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in setting up and tearing down our ceremony and reception! The venue was absolutely stunning. We planned on an outdoor ceremony but due to rain, we had to move it inside last minute. Donovan was very good at keeping me, (the bride), calm and confident that it would be no problem at all and still beautiful. It turned out better than I imagined and I'm so happy that we chose this venue. I can't say enough good things about them!!

Loved having my ceremony and reception at the Red Barn Farm. I used the new barn, and it's absolutely gorgeous. Donovan, his parents, and all the staff are excellent, easy to work with, extremely professional, and just overall wonderful people. I expected to have a long day preparing for the big event and I got there and it was all just perfectly setup already, and everything else I wanted, they helped me out with quickly, and perfectly. I recommend them to anyone. Breathtaking location, great staff, just wonderful!

We got married here on Sept 7th, which coincided with Labor day as well as the first day the red barn farm was open for fall activities. Even with all of this going on, the staff made our wedding a priority. The venue is absolutely gorgeous and well maintained. Several opportunities for awesome photos and is the perfect spot to have a rustic wedding. All of our vendors were familiar with the venue and only had the best things to say about it. There are also several options on how to set up the wedding and reception giving you a lot of flexibility.

But the one thing that sold the Weston Red Barn for us, was dealing with Donovan and everyone else that works at the farm. It is a family business and they go out of their way to make sure everything is perfect. They truly made us feel like we were part of the family and were incredibly accommodating. They are truly some of the most kind people you will ever meet and they really set this wedding venue apart from the others. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Weston Red Barn Farm! I would highly recommend the venue to any of my friends and family. It is truly a one of a kind place ran by some of the nicest people you will ever meet.

Weston Red Barn Farm made our wedding more beautiful and memorable than we ever could have hoped for. We were married in the new barn, Timber Barn. From the very beginning, the family who owns Red Barn Farm was great to work with. They were very helpful and dedicated to the very end. I can honestly say they put their heart and souls into the operation and take great pride in the beautiful event spaces they have created. They truly want your wedding to be everything you have hoped for. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone who wants beautiful and memorable wedding with views of some of the most beautiful countryside in the area!

This was the Perfect venue. Our entire story unfolded at the farm, from proposal to wedding. I can't imagine other venues give you the same one on one, prompt attention and care that we received from the Frey family. They are excited for the weddings they host and relish in the positive results. Ask Donovan for suggestions on vendors and decorating. He has an in depth knowledge of what and who works well at his venues and that helped make our day's execution flawless. Our best choice in planning was to start with choosing the Weston Red Barn Farm. Everything else kept getting better from there.

The new barn is absolutely beautiful. We didn't really have to do that much decorating, because it was so amazing as is. On top of that, Donovan, Steve, and the rest of their team were incredibly helpful from the day we booked through the day of our celebration. Can't say enough good things about Red Barn. Steve made us feel so comfortable from the very moment we met him that we knew instantly this was the place we wanted to get married. He warmly invites you to have your dream wedding at his home and goes above and beyond to make sure the day is perfect. All of the Red Barn Farm workers are amazing and we had nothing but great compliments from wedding guests at what a beautiful and well-run venue it was. We couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect place for our wedding! There were so many beautiful spaces -- the orchard (ceremony), barn (dinner and dancing), hillside (games for kids), decks on each side (photo booth and bar), animal corrals/areas (petting/visiting fun for kids), not to mention the trails, buildings and hillsides on the property made available for photo shoots! We enjoyed being there from setup at 8am to the bonfire after dancing at 11pm. Steve, Donovan and their team were flexible, responsive, and attentive throughout the planning process and day itself. It was our biggest expense, and our best investment in making sure we had an unforgettable celebration. Highly recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect and dreamlike venue for our wedding in April! From the moment we drove onto the property the fall before our wedding date, we knew we loved the beautiful setting. Once we met the people we would be working with, we were completely sold. We even changed what we hoped our date would be so we could have our reception at the Red Barn Farm. Donovan and Steve and everyone we worked with were so helpful all the way along, and answered every question I had as we went. They also did everything they could to accommodate every request we had to make our day unforgettable. I already have and will continue to rave about the Weston Red Barn Farm to anyone that will listen. Our wedding was a dream come true thanks to the Red Barn Farm and it's awesome and friendly staff!

We have not even had our wedding yet and I am confident to rate Weston Red Barn Farm a 5.0! They have communicated with their new additions/upgrades, sent photos, and invited us to come see the progress any time we want. BEAUTIFUL views of the rolling hills of the MidWest!! Very nice, accommodating, and personable family to work with. We are so excited for our big day there!

LOVED Red Barn Farm!!! I joke that i want to get married again there!!! Truth is if i had the money, i would do it in a heartbeat! The owners are fabulous, caring people. The day of our October wedding it was cold and dreary, so our orchard ceremony was out. They helped us locate some heater trees that was delivered and picked up from the venue for reasonable cost and just took excellent care of us through the entire planning process, and the night of our wedding!! I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for that country wedding!

The Res Barn was our dream place for our wedding and it became exactly that. Donovan is fantastic and is taking the family business to another level. They treated us like family and were more than helpful. As a staff they all were very responsive to whatever we wanted for our big day. I will never be able to thank them enough but will definitely recommend them for years to come. They have a good thing going and hopefully they will never change. You will not be disappointed if you want a rustic/country wedding site.

My husband and I just got married at the Weston Red Barn farm last month. Our wedding day turned out just liked we planned and couldn't have picked a better location! Our main reason for choosing this location was of course the view and beauty of the barn and land. We also really liked this location over others because they offer flexibility in the vendors you want to have and don't make you choose from an approved list. Steve was so helpful during the past year that we were planning our wedding. Always available to answer any questions we had or offer advice of what he thought would work out better! On the day of the wedding, Steve and his crew were very helpful and accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed and that it was in the right spot. We highly recommend using Weston Red Barn Farm for your next event, or to plan a trip to spend a day at the farm with their many other activities they offer!

It's 3am and I was married at the Red Barn Farm last night. I can't go to sleep because I can't stop thinking about how perfect our wedding was. The barn itself was absolutely gorgeous. The land was beautiful. The staff was incredible! They were superb from the minute we arrived in the morning to the minute we left for the night. We spent about 16 hours with Donovan, the owners son, and he was terrific. Anything I wanted, they made it happen. Ladies, if you want the wedding of your dreams, Weston Red Barn Farm is the place! You will feel like royalty as will your guests!!!

The property is Beautiful and the Staff was outstanding in every way would recommend it to anyone

If you are looking to have a charming outdoor wedding, Red Barn Farm is the absolutely perfect place. This venue supplies a beautiful backdrop as it is surrounded by hills and trees, and is secluded from highways, etc. We were able to get married in the Apple Orchard which we found romantic and personalized. After the ceremony, farmer Steve took our wedding party on a hay-rack ride and we drank champagne while watching and enjoying a sunset together. The scenery and fall colors along our hayrack ride were stunning, and spending this time alone with our wedding party / closest friends was really special for us, and something we will always remember. The barn itself is rustic and charming, without being cheesy or "redneck" as some of the other similar venues in the KC metro were. Because of the beautiful scenery, not much decorating was really needed. Instead of spending money on flowers, we were able to use pumpkins and gourds sold at the farm (we don't think flowers are necessary because of all the color and interesting things to look at - already in the venue). We also used apple boxes and vintage doors owned by the venue for no additional cost. Many of our guests mentioned that our wedding was the best they had ever been too, because of the beautiful setting. We would say the same for weddings we have attended at Red Barn Farm. We really loved working with and getting to know farmer Steve, and can't say enough good things about him. He's a great guy, gave us a lot of really helpful tips and information, and we believe he genuinely cared about our wedding versus seeing us as just another customer. I would highly recommend Red Barn Farm to anyone looking to have an outdoor wedding.

What a great location~!! The owners Steve & Cindy were FANTASTIC~!!! They helped us with every question we had along the way, down to recommending our amazing caterer and dj. The guest loved our venue and the feel it gave.... It was a chilly day on October 19, 2012 and Steve was great at recommending a place for us to get some last minute propane heaters to heat the barn...

Not only is the farm the prettiest wedding venue I have ever seen, Steve Frey made sure our ceremony and reception went off without a hitch! I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect barn wedding. Thank you Weston Red Barn Farm!

Steve and Cindy at the Red Barn Farm are so sweet. They helped to give us ideas on how to set up as well as helped with any questions we had. The site was beautiful and was wonderful for our wedding. A few days before our wedding, there was some bad weather that caused tree damage on the farm. They called me and my family to make sure they knew exactly where to clean up so our wedding would look nice. On the day of the wedding, they helped us to set up the chairs and cleaned up all the trash all night. This was the perfect spot for our wedding. Everyone has complimented us on how beautiful it was and what a great spot it was.

This location is a wonderful barn on a hilltop in rural Platte County, near Weston, MO. The owners, Steve and Cindy Frey, are wonderful people who are more than willing to work with you when you book their venue. We had the ceremony in the fall, and it was picture perfect. What a great time!

Weston Red Barn Farm is a beautiful venue. We have the most amazing wedding photos from all over the farm. Steve and Cindy are so wonderful and helpful and did everything to make sure our wedding was the best it could be. If you're considering and outdoor location, you MUST go see the Red Barn Farm - we loved it so much that we booked it in the middle of winter when nothing was even green or blooming. We couldn't pass it up and all of family and friends thought it was just as amazing as we did.

I know that typically grooms don’t give feedback like this, but it is absolutely justified. The timber barn at Weston red barn farms was straight out of a movie beautiful. I cannot believe how well everything turned out and it wouldn’t have been possible without this venue and it’s staff. Donovan is absolutely top notch and is a true professional. He knows every question you are going to ask before you ask it, but will let you guide your way through the experience. I would pick this place if I had to do it over again and would definitely recommend my friends and family to check it out!

I am leaving a review about the farm as far as using it as a wedding venue. The barn is such a beautiful place but unfortunately it does not have the customer service to go along with it, so I would NEVER recommend it to be used as a wedding venue. One of the owners, Donovan, was such a huge help throughout the whole planning process, but unfortunately Steve is the one who worked the day/night of my wedding. The problem started off with him wanting our guests to carry their own chairs from the ceremony up to the barn for the reception. Then, after spending a few thousand dollars on this venue, which I was promised (signed a contract) until midnight, Steve tried winding the evening down around 9:30. He asked the people serving the guests food to start picking up at 9:30 and had his staff come in and start cleaning and putting things away before 10:30! Not only did he cause many guests to leave, he also hovered all night watching over the reception. We were all responsible adults and I feel there was no reason for him to be present during our reception. I was so unimpressed by the way he acted on my wedding night, it was extremely unprofessional. It was Applefest weekend so I feel that he knew he already had his money so he was not worried about us enjoying the night. It was very overpriced for the service we received. Disappointing to say the least.
