Wow, I cannot say enough good things about our experience hosting our wedding here at Westfields! The entire team was so incredible and helped us pull off the most perfect wedding. When we toured venues, we were blown away by how beautiful Westfields is, both the venue itself and the golf course/woods around the venue. Westfields has such a charm to it, and our guests loved how tucked away it was from of the busy roads of Northern Virginia. Ashley and her team were amazing- Ashley was so responsive throughout the planning process and helped answer all my questions, her level of expertise was such a huge help! She seriously made the whole wedding planning process so much easier! Her assistant Fatima was also so wonderful to work with on the wedding day, helping to keep us on schedule but also ensure my fiancé and I could enjoy the day! All of our guests had such a great time at the wedding, and so much of that is thanks to everyone at Westfields that ran such a flawless night!Westfields Golf Club's reply:

Westfields Golf Club and their absolutely amazing wedding coordinator, Ashley, truly made my wedding dreams come true. Every step was easy thanks to Ashley. The venue itself was beautiful. Ashley and her team put together everything so seamlessly and made our decor look better than my vision. The options for food and beverage were great, and we got many compliments on the food served. The convenience of having Westfields provide it was a huge plus. They even accommodated special dietary needs for our other vendors that required them. My cousin is getting married next year and also decided to have his wedding at Westfields Golf Club! To say they went above and beyond would be an understatement. The Westfields is the best place to have your wedding or reception hands down. Ashley was so helpful, kind, and quickly responded to all our questions. The location is amazing for NOVA weddings, very central and easy to get to. Our wedding was in October and the landscaping and gardens were beautiful. The main room and club are amazing and could match any color scheme, but the big windows might be my favorite part. The food was amazing and the prices were too. We had passed hors d'oeuvres that I highly suggest and our buffet and carving station were perfectly set and tasted amazing. Overall we could have not had a better day. Westfields was a great wedding venue, and we couldn't recommend it more! From the start, Ashley was very helpful - she has the planning process down to a science and was helping us to figure out what we needed to do to make the wedding a success. The rest of the staff was also super helpful, friendly, and warm! The value you get for the money (especially in the DC area) is top notch. The fact that the venue has catering and decorations included saves a lot of planning time. The food was delicious (this was probably the thing that most guests commented on) and the decor looked amazing. The guests also raved about the bartenders being attentive and speedy. (There was never a line except right when it opened, and it did not last long!) The wedding day ran super smoothly with no problems, mostly thanks to Ashley, Fatima, and the other staffs help. To recap: the venue is gorgeous, the staff is amazing, the food and drinks are delicious, and the prices are good. We couldn't imagine a better venue!Westfields Golf Club's reply:

This venue is an amazing value, its beautiful for pictures, the food was top notch, and it was the perfect size for a medium size wedding of 100 guests. Also the price was very reasonable for 4 hours of open bar and premier liquor . Everything was very well organized and we greatly enjoyed working with the coordinator Ashley, she is very attentive and is very accommodating. Definitely recommend to anyone looking to host a medium size wedding at an affordable price at a beautiful venue!Westfields Golf Club's reply:

Ashley and team were a dream to work with at Westfields Gold Club! She helped us every step of the way. We had our wedding in September 2024 and Ashley made the planning less stressful. She was ready to share how other couples approached different aspects of their wedding at Westfields and always emailed us answers back to our questions within 1-2 days, if not within an hour. She had the ability to read my mind and answer all the questions I had noted before meeting her and made us feel comfortable. She helped understand the timelines, like meal tasting/selection and guest count, to help us stay on schedule with what the venue needed. We never felt pressured to select specific options and packages, we felt that Ashley tried to understand our vision and made it come to life. To stay say's organized is an understatement. Our guests loved the venue and easy flow of the space. The next morning, Westfields had everything back in boxes for us so it was a breeze to pick up our decorations afterwards. -

My husband and I got married at the Westfields Golf Club in May and it was truly a perfect day. We worked closely with Ashley, who guided us through the wedding process very kindly. She was attentive to us and had great suggestions for us along the way. On the day of, she was there with us ensuring everything ran smoothly and on time. The food was great, the location is absolutely gorgeous. I would choose this venue a million times over if I was able to! Book them for your wedding - you won't regret it. -

Best Wedding Venue in Northern Virginia!
We just had our wedding at Westfields Golf Club and it was overall an amazing experience! It's a beautiful wedding venue that we chose based on price, value, and location. Ashley and her team were fantastic! Ashley was very quick to respond to emails, super friendly, knows the ins and outs of the space, and was overall very helpful in making sure our wedding day ran as smooth as possible. Ashley worked with us since the first meeting and helped set up our menu, the layout of the space, and the timeline for the day. We delivered our decorations the day before and the team set it up just how we envisioned. The golf course and surrounding areas have a lot of gorgeous spots for photos. The covered pavilion for the ceremony was perfect for shade on our sunny wedding day and the deck was spacious enough for 130 guests for cocktail hour. Westfields is great with dietary restrictions and worked with us to tackle 8 different food allergies and sensitivities! I highly recommend Westfields Golf Club as a wedding venue, we are so happy we chose to have our wedding here! Westfields Golf Club in Clifton is a wonderful place to have a wedding or a corporate holiday party or even a milestone birthday party. We have used them for all of these occasions. The venue is beautiful, and the staff is amazing to work with. Very flexible and response time is on point. The food is delicious. Couldn't ask for more. -

Westfields Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding. The property is stunning, but what really makes it special are the people. We worked with Ashley Clarkin throughout the process of planning our wedding. She was always extremely responsive, positive, and willing to problem solve with us. When the wedding day arrived, we were able to focus on getting married and being with loved ones because we fully trusted that everything else had been taken care of by the venue's staff. As someone who works in the wedding business, I've seen a lot of venues and met a lot of wedding coordinators. Westfields held our wedding reception and they were so easy to work with from start to finish. Ashley and her staff were extremely responsive, amenable to all of our ideas, paid attention to all the details we provided, and made accommodations for our guests as requested. The staff guided us through the day, attended to our needs, and we were ahead of/on schedule the entire time for our reception. The reception venue was decorated beautifully and the golf course provided scenic backdrops for photos. They are also reasonably priced for the area! Westfields was the best decision we could've made for our wedding. From the very beginning, Ashley, our wedding coordinator was so amazing to work with. She is so kind, a pro at her job, and helped us with all the details. She is super efficient at getting back in response to any questions or requests, and working with both her and her assistant (also named Ashley) was such a pleasure and breeze. We didn't need to worry about anything on the actual wedding day. They made sure everything flowed perfectly. Our guests loved the venue and they especially commented that it was the best flowing and organized wedding they had ever been to. We originally planned to have our wedding October 2020 but rescheduled to this past October (2021). Ashley was super helpful and diligent with us the whole way through and was always so responsive whenever we had questions or needed suggestions. Our wedding was amazing and we had a great time! The venue is beautiful with plenty of great areas for pictures and great scenery. Ashley and the rest of the staff set everything up perfectly! We added in the day of coordinator and their help during the day made everything run super smoothly. Ashely even helped me pin up my dress to help me have an easier time dancing during the reception. We highly recommend adding the coordinator if you decide to go with Westfields. We are super glad we decided to choose this venue for our wedding day!Westfields Golf Club's reply:

As many review already mention, Ashley is just simply incredible. She was so responsive, flexible, kind and incredible to plan a wedding with! She took care of all of our decorations, ensured we had everything we needed throughout the busy night, assisted our photographer with shots - I’m convinced she can’t be topped! The venue itself is also a great bang for your buck. The grounds are yours for the evening - we utilized the pavilion, deck and banquet room. I am not sure I can rave enough about Westfields and the coordinator, Ashley. From the first meeting with Ashley to tour the facility to after event communications, things were amazing. We toured various different venues, but no other venue offered the quality and flexibility for the price. We were able to customize and add/change elements of our package to ensure we could execute our vision. Ashley was always just an email away and responded usually within hours. When we had to make changes or had problems, Ashley was always there to make suggestions or had a solution. Week of the wedding, we had some crazy issues and nothing phased Ashley; she was able to make things go seamlessly. If you book your venue here (and you really should), paying to add Ashley as your day of coordinator is well worth it. She makes sure everything is perfect.
Westfields chef is also amazing. Our guests raved about the food at both the rehearsal dinner and the reception. No boring and bland wedding food here. The staff is also top notch! They made sure everything went smoothly. -

Great to work with and flexible with the pandemic
I’ll start with the fact that planning a wedding is never easy, especially during a pandemic. Ashley C. was amazing to work with, always responsive and very flexible. We had to make a number of changes as the VA COVID guidelines changed, and she was always staying on top of the latest updates and let us know of the status. Ashley took quite a bit of stress out of the process, and was invaluable on the day of the wedding. We also had cicadas to contend with, and they made sure that the pavilion was clear of any bugs and ready for our wedding!
One of the main reasons I chose Westfield was the fact that the ceremony location was covered but outdoors, so we felt comfortable holding our big day there, rain or shine. Many venues we looked at did not have good indoor/outdoor options or couples needed to make a decision on the location on the prior day - which isn’t great for a rainy day. We didn’t have rain, but did have 90+ degree weather and appreciated the covered pavilion. There were two things I was focused on for the ceremony decorations: there is an outlet behind the arbor for the ceremony and an unsightly grey electrical panel near the aisle. Ashley was great at letting us measure to find a way to block these, and even provided design suggestions! We were able to cover these and it ultimately looked nice.
The venue provided Golf carts so we could take a quick ride for our sunset photos instead of walking, which was awesome.
We didn’t get to test many food options because of the pandemic. The food didn’t blow us away, but was decent (everyone especially enjoyed the hors d’oeuvers and salad) and the signature cocktails, drinks and the service were great.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Westfields Golf Club for couples looking for venues, and would love to work with Ashley again in the future.Westfields Golf Club's reply:

We originally booked westfields for a Spring wedding so when we had to reschedule to end of the summer I was a little nervous the venue wouldn’t be as pretty but I was very wrong. Westfield’s is gorgeous and Ashley and her assistant are amazing. Update- we finally had our reception!
We cannot say how AMAZING Westfields Golf Club was for our wedding. Easily the best vendor on our entire team. Ashley was beyond fantastic in ensuring all the details were perfect, even through three years of rescheduling due to Covid and military deployment.
The grounds are beautiful and the ballroom was the perfect size for our wedding of just under 100 guests. The places to take photos were numerous.
The food was SO good and there was A LOT of it. Our guests just couldn't stop raving about the buffet and bar, and even the prime rib which can sometimes be tough to cook for a huge crowd.
I accidentally stepped on the back of my dress during our first dance, and I fell on my knee and the zipper seam ripped. Ashley was right there in the back room with my mom making sure I had ice, water, and even helped my mom with getting it sewn together until we could figure out a plan B. She made sure that the timeline adapted and kept moving so my guests had no idea anything was wrong while also making sure I didn't miss out on any special moments of our reception.
I cannot recommend Westfields Golf Club and Ashley enough for making our wedding dream come true! Thank you!

We were supposed to have our wedding on May 23. Within two days of me reaching out, Ashley was able to not only send some potential dates, but complete the process to reschedule us and add on a ceremony (it was going to be at a church). Her flexibility, care and responsiveness were amazing. We may have to wait 6 more months, but we are very happy we get to have our wedding at Westfields Golf Club.Westfields Golf Club's reply:

Magical Wedding Experience
We came to Westfield after having to cancel out original plan for a destination wedding and let me tell you... it was the biggest BLESSING!!!
Ashley was professional, accommodating, kind and truly wanted me to have the perfect wedding and it WAS!
EVERYONE talked about how delicious the food was and how beautiful the venue turned out.
I felt like I walked into a fairytale when I walked into the reception.

I honestly can not speak highly enough of my wedding experience at Westfields Golf Club! Ashley and the entire staff at Westfields went WAY above and beyond to make all of my wedding dreams come true (and then some!!). Ashley is extremely organized, knowledgeable, friendly, flexible, and quick to reply to all questions throughout the wedding planning process. She and the team truly went the extra mile to make our wedding personal, beautiful, stress-free, and most of all incredibly fun/joy filled for my husband and me. Every wish we had from reception planning, decoration, and food & beverage was granted.
The food/drink was incredible -- from our cocktail hour personalized bride/groom drinks, to the appetizers, plated dinner, and ice cream bar! I have had several guests tell me that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. To top it off, it was evident that all staff was committed to providing an excelled guest experience to everyone!
The venue itself is gorgeous and can be styled several different ways. My goal was to provide an elegant/formal setting and that is exactly what we achieved. The outside of the building, and surrounding golf course is the perfect setting for couple/bridal party photos. It was very convenient that the beautiful setting for photos was adjacent to our cocktail hour/reception -- I feel like I really maximized my time with our guests at the cocktail hour/reception this way.
Ashley and team made sure the reception events flowed smoothly from the drop off of vendor items (e.g., cake/flowers) to the arrival of DJ, arrival of guests and transition of guests from cocktail hour to reception! They catered to my husband and I all night -- bringing us drinks, making sure all of our requests were met, etc.
Wetfields Gold Club also has a relationship with the local Westfields Marriott, which made setting up a room block for our guests very easy!
We also hosted a farewell brunch at Westfields Golf Club the morning after our wedding. It was the perfect, convenient, way for everyone to relive the fun from the night before prior to leaving! The food was, again, incredible! Everyone enjoyed the fresh omlets, pancakes, fruit, juices, coffee, etc.! The guest service was, again, incredible with every single staff member being extremely friendly. They even cut up leftover wedding cake for our guests to eat at brunch.
My husband and I could not be more joy-filled as we think about our perfect wedding at Westfields. If you are thinking of booking -- DO IT and all of your wedding dreams will come true just like mine did!Westfields Golf Club's reply:

This is by far the best wedding venue in Northern VA. Not only is the scenery picturesque the staff is phenomenal. Ashley is unbelievably on top of her game and by far the best person we worked with throughout all of our wedding planning. I did not worry about a thing on my wedding day. The venue was absolutely beautiful! The pavilion for the ceremony was perfect because it is covered but also allows us to be outside. The outside is great for photos and cocktail hour. And the interior is perfect - high ceilings and windows, a nice big open bar and corner for seating or whatever display you want. Ashley was also a factor into us choosing the venue. She was friendly, professional and knowledgable! We look forward to working with her and her team. -

Harry Sent on 01/04/2018If you are looking for a site for both your ceremony and the reception, you need not look further. Westfields Golf Club was a perfect venue for our wedding. Compared to the almost dozen locations we looked at, it was also very affordable. The ceremony is outside but under a covered pavilion, so no worries about rain. The cocktail area is very roomy, we even had a band. The reception area was large and a great bar was available, and a good sized dance floor. The food was awesome, and they let us taste many items to help us choose. The best part of Westfields Golf Club is their event and day of coordinator, Ashley Clarkin. Ashley is unbelievable and really made things easy on us, she is calm cool and collected. Thanks so much Ashley!!!

Jasmine Sent on 10/31/2017Westfields Golf Club is nothing short of amazing!! This venue offers the perfect indoor/outdoor wedding solution for the cautious bride! The outdoor pavilion is great, and the deck can be tented in case of inclement weather. We really enjoyed working with Ashley; she was a dream!! I emailed Ashley so many times, visited the venue so many times, and Ashley was so kind in every email and at every visit! Responses were always quick and informative! I didn't hire an event planner, but having Ashley made it feel like I did! With Ashley in charge, we were really able to relax and enjoy our day. Westfields was always flexible and accommodating. We did a buffet meal with steak and salmon, but they allowed us to offer plated chicken and vegetarian meals at no extra cost. The food was really good, even though, like most couples, we didn't eat much. I would warn couples about the capacity of the venue. I think the banquet room would be too crowded and slightly awkward with 200 guests. We ended up with around 160. I'm very thankful for that because I don't think I would have liked the room setup with 200 guests. With 160ish seats everything was perfect, and I loved the room setup! Our only two (minor) complaints are that the bar ran out of Crown Royal , and that the room was a little warm. The team at Westfields really went above and beyond to make our day special, and we truly had the time of our lives! Thank you Westfields for all of your amazing hard work and dedication! -

Katie Sent on 09/02/2017Ashley did a wonderful job! She made the entire process so easy and way less stressful than it could have been. We LOVED working with her. If you don't book for any other reason, book for Ashley, she was an absolute Godsend! Other than that, we loved Westfields; the golf course and grounds were beautiful, as was the reception. We loved that it was just big enough to fit our guests (~100 people) without making it seem like there was a ton of extra space. The grounds are a great place to take photos, there are plenty of options bride/groom and wedding party photos. The outdoor patio and pavilion were great additions for the cocktail hour and reception. We felt like it was a very great value for the area and the quality of what they were offering - the food was wonderful as well! -

Jay Sent on 08/30/2016We had our wedding here last weekend and this place is amazing. The pavilion is perfect for our ceremony and the reception area is beautiful. The staff here at Westfields are top notch, especially Ashley and Stevie. Ashley was our day of coordinator and she'd answered all of our questions and concerns promptly from day 1 of our wedding planning. We didn't get to meet the rest of the staff, but they all worked hard and did a good job during our cocktail hour and reception. We highly recommend this place!

User1764494 Sent on 08/05/2014I absolutely loved having my wedding at the Westfields Golf Club. All of the Events/Sales staff there was so easy to work with, flexible, friendly and did a great job of making sure our day ran smoothly.
The venue itself is also amazing. The setting is gorgeous, the reception hall is recently renovated and a great layout with a nice set up before you even add any decorations to it. The only thing I wished it had that it didn't was a bridal suite with a mirror and some more space, but we just did make up and hair at the hotel we were at in our suite and I got dressed at the bridal suite that they have which worked out perfectly well.
I can't say enough good thing about the staff at Westfields - Audrey, Jason and Katie were all great to work with.

Jen Sent on 06/02/2014My husband and I got married at Westfields Golf Club in March of 2014 after a 15 month engagement. WGC was the first venue we looked at, and we were ready to sign a contract after our first meeting with Audrey and Jason. It was hands-down the best decision we made throughout our event planning process, as the entire staff took such incredible care of us not only the weekend of the wedding, but in the months leading up to our big day.No matter how far out we were from our wedding day, they were incredibly responsive and attentive to our questions and needs.
Audrey is one of the best and most flexible planners there is. Having worked in the industry for 8 years and having planned several weddings myself, she was, for me, the biggest selling point for having our wedding reception at WGC. I was able to give up control and put complete trust in her and her team to execute the vision we had for the reception. Which they did flawlessly!
Jason was more than accommodating for the groomsmen golf outing, which turned into a small tournament of 30+ players! They took great care of the group which was a special kickoff to the wedding weekend for my husband and players.
The entire staff handled the nasty weather and any last-minute changes with ease and grace, and never let on if there were issues with timing or other logistics. A few other perks: gold chiavari chairs, tables, and white floor-length linens are included in the reception rental fees (which are incredibly fair in the industry) and there are several options for a possible ceremony space and/or the cocktail reception.
We will never be able to repay them for all they did for us and our wedding, and I would give them the highest recommendation as a wedding venue, caterer, catering/service/event planning team. -

Westfields Golf Club was our perfect venue!
Our wedding was perfect! Everything went so smoothly, Ashley was an incredible help throughout the whole process! We loved that the venue included so much and they handled all the set up and take down! Our guests raved about the food and are still telling us how good it was! Our photos are beautiful and we had a perfect day! Highly recommend!Westfields Golf Club's reply:
