Winter Wedding @ Western Lakes 1/6/24:
After touring Western Lakes a year out from our wedding I knew it was the perfect reception venue for my now husband and I. Jamie (Western Lakes Event Coordinator) knocked it out of the park with the initial tour and planning. She was so pleasant and easy to work with and offered amazing ideas for decor, hospitality, and budgeting. Michelle (Saz’s Event Coordinator) was even more vital in the planning process. About a month out for our final meeting, she sat us down and developed a minute by minute timeline for the reception. It couldn’t have been any more organized and the most seamless flow when wedding day rolled around. She remembered details I mentioned months prior via email, organized the best tasting, and was always available for questions or concerns. The waitstaff must not go unnoticed at Saz’s. Vicki, our team lead, was on top of every single detail from our personalized napkins for cocktail hour, to scrambling to set 4 extra place settings for dinner, to giving us a huge hug after dinner. Food was served in an incredibly timely manner as was table clearing. The entire team made our day the best one of our lives. The golf course offered amazing photos for the bridal party, the line of windows in the reception room provided a cozy, elegant feel. The bartenders kept everyone’s beers full and consistently did so with a smile.
Thank you to Western Lakes and the Saz’s team for making our winter wedding so incredibly special!! 10/10

We had an excellent experience. Michelle, who helped coordinate our wedding, was awesome to work with. Great food and beautiful venue. Having the dance floor, bar, and bathrooms within 50 feet of each other made for a fun night. We would definitely recommend this venue. -

My wife and I loved this place! We booked back in October 2020 and had our wedding this past May 2022. It was the most beautiful place to have a wedding. We chose to have our ceremony by the gazebo. The Western Lakes team was very prepared and made sure everything ran smoothly. They also had an alternate plan incase of rain, we could have the ceremony inside. They were easy to get ahold of and their pricing was the best pricing we saw while looking around for venues. We booked in the “off season” so we did not have a guest minimum, and we also got free appetizers, late night food and a champagne toast! There’s also an amazing bridal suite to use with vanity’s, multiple plug ins, lounging room and another area for you to hang dresses and get into your wedding dress. I highly recommend this place and want to say a huge thank you to our planner Michelle, and her entire team! We appreciate you guys making our day special! -

Best bang for your buck in a beautiful place!
Western Lakes is a beautiful venue! Everything is in one place, the tree backdrop is lovely, the open concept is perfect, and the staff is wonderful. Michelle our coordinator was wonderful to work with and everything went as planned. They respond quickly, the food tasting was great and they accommodated a few changes! It was very affordable the food was delicious (Saz’s catering) and the staff helps you set up. Everyone loved our venue and raved about the views and the food for weeks to come. Definitely take a look if you want the best value and the best pictures! -

My husband and I were absolutely blown away by the service we received. Michelle and her staff were so receptive to our needs and helped immensely with the timing and planning of the day. We are still getting compliments from our guests on the food and service. We cannot recommend Western Lakes enough! -

The Best Venue!!
Joe was amazing. He really took the time to make sure every detail was handled correctly and was a pleasure to work with. We got married on January 16th and the whole day was perfect. From the start of just looking at the venue, the tasting, and the venue itself and day of our wedding everything was perfect. The servers and bartenders were fantastic and friendly, the food of course was amazing and everything was just so smooth. I highly recommend this venue to everyone you won't regret it! -

Even though COVID-19 came through and pushed out wedding date back, Western Lakes Golf Club definitely had no problem working with us. 3 months later we was still able to have our wedding there and I loved every bit of it. We was able to use the entire place and the bridal suite was a plus. I would recommend this place to anyone planning a wedding on a budget. -

Saz's Lake Country was professional, helpful, and extremely communicative throughout our whole wedding planning process. When it came to the wedding day, the team showed up on time, set everything up exactly how we wanted to, and the food was incredible. We had countless guests compliment the food and the presentation of the food after the big night. I would recommend Saz's Lake Country to any of my family and friends for a wedding or catered event! -

I booked my wedding at Western Lakes after viewing 2 places prior and immediately I fell in love with the course and setting. I am having a fall wedding and am looking forward to the fall colors on the trees! I worked with Chris on booking and he has been extremely helpful and pleasant to work with! -

Lauren Sent on 08/03/2018I am beyond THRILLED with our wedding and highly recommend Western Lakes to couples in the Lake Country area. Our reception was STUNNING. Sara (the site coordinator) and her crew set up all my decor to perfection. Guests kept saying how beautiful and unique our panoramic reception was. The food was EXCELLENT! From our appetizers to dinner to late night fare, Chris (the co-owner of Saz's Catering their vendor) was professional, responsive, and helpful. You get so many great choices. Western Lakes also has a cool bar set up; our guests did not want to leave! From beginning to end, I wouldn't change a thing. You will get tremendous value and will be so happy if you choose Western Lakes Golf Club in Pewaukee! I strongly recommend this venue.

Caryn Sent on 07/18/2018Saz's and Western Lakes made my wedding the perfect day! I had both ceremony and reception here - ceremony was outside on the grass, so pretty!! I didn't have to worry about anything related to decorating the reception space and it turned out better than I even thought it would! Chris and Sara did an amazing job with everything from start to finish and were so quick to answer all my random questions leading up to our day. They also were so flexible and were always quick to say that it was my day and they'd make it happen. Not to mention the food was great, especially the late night fries and cheese curds, which were a HUGE hit! Agree that you definitely don't need a separate wedding coordinator if you have your wedding here. -

Zsofia Sent on 08/12/2009Western Lakes was the best place I could have ever imagined having my wedding reception. The hall was absolutely breathtaking in itself, with all the windows overlooking the scenic golf course. It was also recently remodeled. The hall is very large, with two dance floors and a full bar. Having two dance floors is nice because the dance floor we decided not to use as our dance floor, we used as a cocktail area instead. The Western Lakes staff brought out extra cocktail tables from storage to put on that dance floor by the bar. We had our wedding on a Sunday so we received special extras. If you have your wedding on a Friday or a Sunday, there is no minimum amount of people, you get free h'ors deurves (both hot and cold) during cocktail hour, and you get a free champagne toast. Chris, the director for weddings and special events at Western Lakes, is amazing to work with. He is there to accommodate your every need for your wedding. His staff sets up the hall very nicely the day of the wedding. You just have to bring everything in the day before the wedding, including flowers. They have a huge cooler where they can keep your flowers in the kitchen. Everything was set up perfectly, just as I had explained it to Chris. For our favors for our guests we wanted to have chocolate milkshakes in martini glasses with a cholive (chocolate shaped like an olive). Chris said that he had never had anyone do that before, but that it was no problem. He had someone serving the milkshakes at 8PM that night. The price for the food was also VERY reasonable! It was a ton of food and it was delicious! Whatever we wanted, Chris and Western Lakes was there to accommodate! I would recommend this hall to anyone! -

Best wedding ever!
This past Saturday my now wife and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Western Lakes Golf Club. The staff were incredible! Helpful and friendly. The food was amazing in quality, taste and portions. All of our guests raved about the food throughout the evening. Sam’s knocked it out of the box for us! -

We got married here end of April 2023 and it was a great experience! Western Lakes is an affordable option compared to other venues in the area. They provided linens, did the room flip, and helped coordinate day of. They also have drinks and food in house which made the planning process so smooth! Not to mention our guest were raving about the food. We were hoping for an outdoor ceremony but due to Wisconsin weather we had it inside. The large windows still provided an amazing feel for an indoor ceremony. The lower level provided a place for guests to go during cocktail hour and allow the room flip to occur upstairs without hinderance. The large trees on the golf course and the gazebo provided AMAZING backdrops to our photos. Would highly recommend this venue. -

My husband and I got married at Western Lakes on 10/2/21. We have nothing but great things to say about Saz'z! Joe and Michelle were amazing to work with and super helpful. Anything questions we had or special requests we had they responded very quickly even when I kept changing the guest list and table numbers around. Our wedding turned out to be everything we dreamt it would be. Everyone raved about the food and how beautiful everything turned out. I would highly recommend Western Lakes and Saz's to anyone!
