We got married at WSCC in October 2024, and it was absolutely perfect! The venue was beautifully prepared for our big day—spotless, well-organized, and truly ready to welcome our guests. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish, and that’s largely thanks to the incredible Brittney Wildman.

Brittney is a dream to work with! She is beyond helpful, detail-oriented, and experienced. She asked all the right questions - especially the ones we never would’ve thought to consider, and made sure every part of the planning and the wedding day itself was handled flawlessly. Any little hiccups that came up were addressed immediately with grace and professionalism.

The WSCC team took such great care of us and our guests, and we couldn’t be more grateful. My husband and I 100% recommend WSCC for your wedding or any special event. Thank you, WSCC, for giving us a day we’ll never forget!

Our experience with West Shore Country Club was an incredible experience. We truly cannot say enough good things. The venue is stunning. Britney was very responsive and even helped scrub mud off my dress after pictures and before the first dance!
Everything was so seamless and stress free that evening, I can’t say enough good things about our experience.

Every single person we dealt with was happy and willing to bend over backwards to work with us. Alexia was a saint throughout the whole process- answering any question I had and working to make the event specific to our needs. Mike was the best attendant along with Marcus during the actual event. Mike and Marcus made sure we did not want for anything. The venue was gorgeous, many were stunned with the grounds and the amazing pool view. The food was impeccable and drink service was on point. There is not one thing we would have changed with having our wedding at the WSCC and working with Alexia.

I worked with Alexia at the West Shore Country Club for over a year to plan our wedding! She was an absolute pleasure to work with, quickly responding to my endless questions, and offered excellent advice and guidance throughout the entire process. Amber and Mike made the most amazing team to create and execute a most spectacular day for us!

The grounds of the WSCC are beautiful! We were able to take multiple golf carts out onto the green with our bridal party and photographer to capture some incredible shots. The ceremony in the covered courtyard and cocktail hour in the Hearth Room were well organized and our guests enjoyed the hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktails. The food at the country club is fantastic, which is just one of the reasons we chose them. We knew our guests would enjoy the options they have to offer and we weren’t disappointed. The ballroom looked exactly as I thought it would, elegant, warm, and sophisticated. Our entire day was incredible and beyond our expectations,...we have everyone at the WSCC to thank for helping to make our day so special!

We can’t say enough good things about the Club and staff! We worked with Alexia during the planning process and Amber the day of. I was nervous about someone different being there day-of, but Amber was amazing. When we brought our decorations over the day before the wedding, Alexia found one of the lanterns broke, and she went to Michaels for us to get it replaced (she didn’t even bother me with it, just took care of it!). The day of the wedding, rain was threatening, so Amber worked directly with my husband to make a decision about whether to move the ceremony inside and made sure I didn’t have to stress over it. On top of the staff being awesome, I loved that the Club has everything right there. I wanted speciality linens and chairs, which Alexia was able to order on my behalf. The venue is stunning and the food was perfect. My Dad and I have celiacs, so the Club paid careful attention to our allergies. My husbands parents are members so we were able to get married in the rough of the course and couldn’t have been happier with the setting. Overall, it was incredible, and we would recommend it to anyone!

I had my dream wedding at the West Shore Country club in May of this year. The service we had from start to finish was absolutely exceptional. My husband and I worked directly with Brad and Alexia, who made sure every last detail (even the ones we didn't think about) were absolutely perfect. A few highlights that really make this venue stand out are the following -

-Ability to customize appetizers for no extra charge;
-Tent on the patio for summer months (this really helped with the heat on the day of our wedding);
-Exceptionally trained bartenders, staff and waiters (I know notice how unprofessional staff is at other weddings compared to ours);
-The space itself is absolutely beautiful - it was so great that for the wedding we got the use of all first floor rooms and the outside patio (there were no extra charges per room);
-Golf was included as part of our wedding package, so my husband and 10+ of his friends and family were able to golf the day before the wedding;
-We were assigned our own personal waiter (as were my parents) to attend to all of our needs throughout the night;
-Brad and team already had an existing relationship with most of our vendors, which made the overall planning process very easy; and
-We were able to take golf carts out on the golf course to take pictures, which was absolutely beautiful;

These are just a few examples of what really stood out to me. After our wedding and still months later, we have received so many complements on how beautiful the venue was, how great the food was, and how much fun our guests had, which truly speaks to the level of service we received and just how beautiful the country club is. In my opinion, this is the best venue in the area and the range of choices we had made it easy to stay within our budget.

Bill at the West Shore Country Club has been so easy to work with in planning our wedding reception at the West Shore Country Club. He is very responsive and really guides you in planning your big day. The venue is stunning and not overpriced! The food here is delicious- cant find a better venue than the West Shore Country Club.

This was the perfect venue. The ballroom looked beautiful, the staff was so professional and helpful, the food was magnificent, just everything. It was wonderful.

West shore country club is an amazing venue. Jenna, the head of catering was excellent! She went out of her way to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted and more! I would recommend this beautiful place to anyone.

The West Shore Country Club is a wonderful location for a wedding Steve Hanawalt is wonderful to work with and is attuned to every detail. Chef Mike and the Staff do a wonderful job. I am so glad that we chose this location for our wedding. They know what they are doing and are extremely professional.

We worked with Stephen on planning our cocktail hour and reception. The dinner menu we selected was wonderful and the service staff was friendly and accomodating . The facility is very clean and atttractive and the grounds of the facility are beautiful. Stephen was organized, very easy to work with (and he worked well with our other vendors) and he had some great suggestions to make our daughter's wedding day a day she would always remember.

I had a great experience working with Steve at the West Shore Country Club. I felt like my day-to-day questions were answered very quickly and all expectations and details of how the day would go were clearly explained. They were very open to trying new things and when we got rain for 4 days straight before the ceremony, they managed to find an outdoor solution 2 days before the ceremony, that allowed us to still do the ceremony outside b/c the original spot did not have enough time to dry out. It turned out to be a beautiful fall day and we had the ceremony outside - it was perfect! I would highly recommend the West Shore Country Club - we got many complements from our guests about the service and food!

West Shore Country Club is absolutely beautiful and easy to work with but what makes them top notch is Stephen Hanawalt. He is easy to work with and goes above and beyond to make sure everyone is happy and things run so smoothly. Our band even complimented at how great Steve was to work with and we had nothing but compliments about the nice venue. Thanks for all your hard work - my day was perfect!

West Shore Country Club was a wonderful site for our wedding receptions. The food was delicious and the guest has a great time. Steve was wonderful on the wedding day. He was always one step ahead and helped us stay on schedule. He was very very helpful.

Brittney and the WSCC were a blast to work and such an amazing experience for us to share with our friends and family. The catering was 8/10 (the tasting went better than the meal the day of) Communication and expectations of staff and service however, 11/10. Truly comforting to work with professionals of this level. Brittney took all our worries away, all our expectations to make them real. She worked around our schedules as best as could be and I could not be more than thankful for her stepping in where she knew she would be needed even before we realized she would be. The WSCC does offer Brittney as a coordinator and trust me take her up on it...we did not and we regret it.

We didn’t have our reception here, but we tried. We had a really rough experience and wanted to share it to warn others. We first reached out on October 16, 2017 about having a wedding on New Year’s Eve 2019. The director we worked with, Alexia, said she needed to ask permission to hold the event because of the history of a member event on that date. On October 20, 2017, she told us that she spoke with the general manager and that we could hold our reception there. We scheduled a tour, and Alexia cancelled the day before. She said she would email to reschedule as soon as she could.

A month after not receiving an email, I reached out and asked about rescheduling. She replied the next day to tell us that they might not be able to accommodate our date any longer and that it was being submitted to the board. About another month later, she told us that the board voted that we could not hold our reception on our desired date.

While my fiancé and I are completely understanding of the fact that the date was not able to be accommodated, we wish we hadn’t wasted over two months hoping this could be our reception venue, and we think the club should seriously reconsider Alexia as the contact person for weddings. She was not professional or efficient, and we would certainly not recommend this venue to any of our friends who are getting married as a result of this experience.
