We cannot say enough good things about this venue and our wedding planner Jaime!! Everything was spectacular! It was gorgeous, organized and honestly took so much stress out of planning of a wedding. If we could do it over we would request Jaime a million times. She put up with our frequent questions and changes and was an absolute delight to work with. Highly highly recommend!!!

When I toured West Manor the first thing I noticed was it's beauty. Literally the most beautiful house on a beautiful piece of land. Second thing I noticed was the eagerness and helpfulness of the staff. They were seriously answering every question I had before I even asked it. Third thing I noticed was this place wouldn't leave my mind. I thought about West Manor until my wedding day, and I'm still thinking about it a month later. I visited the venue only 2 times prior to the week of my wedding and their staff and in house vendors understood my vision even though I was 2000+ miles. I seriously can't give them enough praise. I used their catering (which several people said was the best food they've ever had), florist (Bella Rose Floral & Design), and DJ.

This venue exceeded our expectations. It was such an awesome experience that I would highly recommend this venue to everyone. We left feeling like we had given our daughter and son in law the wedding of their dreams. We had the very best wedding planner ever!! She made everything go smoothly and worked hard at the rehearsal and on the wedding day!! We loved how everything from the cake, DJ, food, wedding planner, and reception flowers (and they did our ceremonial flowers) were included in our package. Again I can't say enough about how wonderful the day was and we have had so many of our wedding guests tell us it was one of the best weddings they have been too. Not saying that to brag just using that to tell you we had the wedding our daughter always dreamed of having because of having it here. Thank you West Manor again!!!

Best venue, best team, best packages around anywhere in Virginia! Loved my experience with everyone I can in contact with especially my planner Kira Appel she helped make our day perfect and we loved every second!

All I can say is that everything was PERFECT! Kira, our wedding coordinator, made everything effortless and the day flowed flawlessly. We still cannot believe what an amazing day my daughter's wedding was. West Manor is beautiful and the staff was amazing. Thank you all for making it so perfect for us!

Our perfect wedding day was made possible here! Our wedding planner/coordinator who they provided, Jamie, was totally on the ball and kept everything running smoothly. Everyone who works there is devoted to making your day wonderful, and the venue is set up perfectly for weddings. It was the most beautiful place and we could not be happier!

This venue was a GOD SEND! My now husband is from Virginia while I am from South Carolina. Everyone that I knew either gets married at the beach or in a barn setting so I wanted something different. However, being two states away makes it difficult to plan a wedding but West Manor Estate made everything super easy and enjoyable. I originally fell in love with the outdoor wedding site under the gazebo but the back up rain plan in a solid glass atrium was to die for which meant zero stress for rain issues. The planning process was a breeze because of their package option that provided me with lists of local vendors that they have worked with so my research time was cut in half for finding catering, cake, flowers, and a DJ. Everything went so smoothly the day of the wedding, it was really a dream come true.

My husband and I got married at West Manor Estate last May and everything was beyond perfection. We had found this beautiful venue while searching online. At the time I was unable to visit but knew it was the one for us so we booked it right away and I can't say how thankful we are about the gut decision! From the day I met with Stephanie to the day of I can't speak highly enough of this place. We had both our ceremony and our reception here. The other Stephanie is such an amazing cook that my husband and I joke about sneaking into a wedding there just to have the food! To this day I have so many people telling me how much fun this venue was and how awesome the staff was! This venue is a team that is like a family and they go above and beyond for their brides.

If I had to do it all over again... I'd choose West Manor Events a million times over!

West Manor Estate was the first wedding venue my fiance and I visited, and we fell in love with it. We checked out a few other venues afterwards, but West Manor was "the one!" It is absolutely gorgeous, elegant, and exudes class. From the stunning ballroom, to the bright and airy glass atrium, to the absolutely picturesque grounds (complete with horses!), it takes my breath away. The bridal suite is also one of the prettiest rooms I have ever seen. Jill, Stephanie, and Amy work hard to give you a smooth, cohesive, stress-free experience. They are very thorough during the planning process, and the vendors I chose from their recommendations blew me away. If there is something you want that is outside of the West Manor norm, and you really communicate your desire for something to be a certain way, West Manor does provide some flexibility; they do want to work to meet your needs. However, keeping their opinions in mind is important, because they have a lot of wisdom and experience about what or what not to do. We went with the all-inclusive plan, which I would recommend, unless you are working with a very tight budget. We also LOVED the job that the resident chef, Stephanie, did with the food on the wedding day! It was absolutely delicious, and you better believe we ate leftovers after the wedding! She even cooked a recipe for chicken that was my mom's, and it turned out really well. We also really enjoyed the honeymoon suite next door, which is renovated and so adorable and cozy. I can honestly say that my wedding felt like a fairytale, and my husband and I keep talking about how we wish we could do it all again—not to change anything, but just to experience it again, because everything is so wonderful, but it flies by! While there is no way to avoid all the stress of planning a wedding, if you want an actual wedding day that is enjoyable and stress-free, with a venue that gives you the peace of mind that everything will be just be beautiful, go with West Manor! :)

The site was beautiful, the staff was professional, and my wedding was exactly what I dreamed. I couldn't be happier with my venue and I recommend West Manor to every bride-to-be.

West Manor Estate made all of my wedding dreams come true. It is an absolutely stunning location and the staff is very professional and nice. Every single one of my guests commented about how beautiful it was and I couldn’t have been happier. The day of the wedding was flawless and thanks to the wonderful staff I didn’t have a worry in the world. I had my ceremony under the gazebo outside and knowing that I had the beautiful glass atrium as a “back up” location if it rained or was cold eliminated so much stress. I don’t think it is possible to find a better location at this price-I highly recommend West Manor!

West Manor did an amazing job creating an experience that we will never forget. From the first meeting to the Wedding day we never had any issues with the staff or venue. We expected 200 guests and ended up having 180 which is over their limit! However, even with the 200 head count they had a place for everyone to sit and enjoy the delicious food! The place was packed! The tasting was so fun and the chef even made my special request. I had tried tomato jam in Atlanta on a work trip and decided that it would be great to pair with the cornbread, so she made it. We received so many compliments about the food, decor, service, and how smoothly everything flowed. Everything was organized and the whole day went without a snag, (as far as I know :-)) I recommend West Manor to every Bride!

If you're a bride in central virginia, there is no question you need to book at West Manor! From the very start of our planning process to my walk down the isle, Stephanie and Jill made it all so stress free. Being a winter bride- there was no question I wanted to be married in the gorgeous glass atrium to achieve the feeling of being outside. I can't even describe how gorgeous the view was during and after our ceremony. The ballroom present itself with such a simple elegance, as I bride I didn't feel like I needed to really decorate at all. It's beautiful just as it is. Our guest couldn't stop telling us how amazing the whole venue was from service to view.

Thanks to West Manor and it's staff, I will remember our special day forever as being perfect!

I was shocked to see that not everyone on here gave West Manor 5 stars across the board. If I could give them MORE stars, I would.

From the moment I first spoke with Katie, until the last guest left the West Manor property, our wedding was a DREAM. Stephanie was my wedding planner, who made everything come alive. She was amazing. Sally's sassy attitude kept my groomsmen in line =) and Katie's attention to detail made the day perfection. It was scheduled to rain, so they set up the ballroom with HUNDREDS of candles. It looked so beautiful. However, they all kept their fingers crossed that it wouldn't rain and it rained RIGHT when the ceremony was over!!! My expectations were not met, they were EXCEEDED.

I wish I could get married at West Manor all over again. If you are looking for the most amazing venue, wonderful staff, and overall amazing experience, then you've found your place!

Sharon and Katie gave me the reception of my dreams at West Manor. When I met with them, I had a few raw ideas, and they turned those thoughts into a winter wonderland for my February wedding. They helped me choose table covers, center pieces, lighting, and develop the overall theme. They even gave me ideas for food, entertainment, and ceremony details! I would have been completely overwhelmed without them, but knowing that they were handling the details meant I was stress free the whole weekend. They went above and beyond to make my wedding special. In addition to the reception, I loved staying in the farmhouse the night before with my bridesmaids and the honeymoon cottage on my wedding night. I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

West Manor truely made my dream wedding come alive! I can't say enough about how wonderdful my experience was working with Katie and Sharon.

West Manor was absolutely the best place to get married! I dont see how anyone could be unhappy with the services they provide. I found the owners to be warm and inviting, and the staff to be professional and knew every detail was being handled with my wishes and desires in mind. I've dreamed of my wedding my whole life, and never imagined I would be so lucky as to receive such fabulous service in such a small town.

I too had about 170 guests and it was my understanding we had to have open food stations because they cannot accomodate a sit down dinner for over 150 unless you didnt want a dance floor. My guests enjoyed not having to wait to eat and we enjoyed the layed back atmosphere. My guests were happy and ready to party!

I would DEFINITELY tell any girl looking for the perfect wedding location to pick West Manor. You'll never be treated better!

Excellent, gorgeous venue. Staff bends over backwards to make you AND your guests feel like they are not in a "venue", but in someone's home. Every detail was perfect, house, ballroom, and gardens are just perfect for a wedding. These people are the ultimate professionals and will make sure that you and your family don't have to worry about a thing during the wedding.

West Manor was definitely a dream come true for two people planning from 4 hours away. I grew up in Central Virginia, and knew I wanted to get married in the area. My husband and I knew from the minute we toured the venue that this was the place we HAD to have our wedding. Their packages made it extremely easy to plan from far away. I worked with two planners during my engagement. Both were very professional, and responded to any concern I had very quickly. We had 3 planning meetings during our engagement, and each one was extremely helpful, and really allowed us to see what our wedding day would be like. The day of our wedding, we had no concerns, we knew everything was taken care of and we could really just enjoy our day. The entire staff at West Manor is extremely professional , and really cares about each and every couple who gets married there. The venue is gorgeous inside and out. The staff made wedding planning such a breeze. Our wedding was better than we could have imagined, and we definitely have West Manor to thank! :)

We were the second event at the newly renovated West Manor. The venue is spectacular. Stephanie and Jill were extremely helpful, encouraging and accommodating to this long distance, first time mother of the bride. Their patience is to be commended. :-) The staff was attentive and responsive. It was a wonderful evening for all! I would highly recommend West Manor Estate! Thanks to the entire staff.

My family and I are happy to have chosen West Manor. Many things cost extra! They said the package price for 150 people includes up to 155 without having the pay for the 175 package. Every person over 150 is paid for per person.They will not meet with you on Sundays for planning sessions. The contract states that you will meet with the chef, never happened. If you have the ceremony at West Manor, you have to hire a ceremony coordinator and she will run you about $300 on top of the $500 ceremony fee. They use the same DJ for all their weddings, so they will go ahead and book him for you without even asking your permission. The food tasting was terrible, but the food on the wedding day was awesome. The package offers a free tasting but they don’t tell you that it is on a Thursday night at 6 pm. This does not help people who are not local. They say you can have any food in the package, but there are many upcharges on the list. A cheese tray, a fruit tray and a vegetable tray are the small appetizers. If you would like any hand passed ones it will cost you an extra minimum $2 per person.Charter buses cannot go over the bridge, so they stop at the edge and make the passengers get out and walk up to the house. Our contract it also states we have until 10am the next morning after the event to pick up our things. We were told as the wedding was wrapping up that the building was not open tomorrow and my parents had to pick up and take all the presents and décor right then. Besides the hidden costs and not being upfront with us on things at first, I would recommend this venue. We loved the stay at the Summer Kitchen for our wedding night. We got extra dinner food, cake, and breakfast to heat up in the morning. This wedding was truly a dream come true. We could not have gotten this venue or had the same wedding we did (150 people, open bar and ceremony) in Northern Virginia for the same price. Our family and friends said that it was the best wedding they had ever been too!

West Manor Estate is such a beautiful venue. You can either get married at the gazebo in the back of the property or in front of the house. It was a hard choice picking one spot. Set way off the main road, Blue Ridge Mountains in view, a few horses hang around sometimes. It's simply gorgeous. We had a couple issues with someone that worked there, but everyone was great. We got to work with Amy the day of our wedding and she was just so sweet. We even stayed at the cottage overnight.

West Manor also did the catering, and the food was delicious. I actually wish we could have taken more home!

West Manor Estate is a very beautiful venue, the property is extremely well maintained! The main reason we chose the venue was because of how beautiful it is and their glass atrium is a gorgeous alternative location for your ceremony if the weather is bad and you can't get married outside. We chose the package option for our ceremony and reception and it was really great to have them set up and take down everything. Overall our wedding day was wonderful, but we definitely ran into a few issues during the process. I think one reason could be the recent change in ownership (right before our wedding) and issues with working with new people. It seemed like some of the staff weren't well prepared at the rehearsal and on the wedding day and weren't familiar enough with the venue/process. We had several planning meetings with West Manor staff, but it seemed like things weren't necessarily communicated to all of their staff appropriately. We spent a lot of time making plans and they didn't seem prepared/didn't follow through for several of the things we requested. Most weren't significant, but the major issue was that we requested a full bar and they only had beer/wine. Once we realized this and discussed with our event manager, they made every effort to provide a full bar as soon as possible so we did have the open bar for the last half of our reception. Make sure you have your specific details fully listed in the contract because they tried to say we never requested it.

This venue is beautiful and the food, florals, decor, and cake were great. However, the service by our planner Jamie was horrible. I would recommend having your wedding here because of the value, food, and decor options but ask for a different planner. She was attentive through the planning process, but the day of her service was poor and lack of professionalism showed. After the wedding, I got so much negative feedback about her and how she treated our bridal party.

Dear Engaged Ladies and Gentleman, let me save you $20K+ since we lost $32K.. Entwined Events is an absolute joke. It's easy to choose them because they make it all seem so easy & then the most important day of your life comes & it's too late. We could do nothing but watch from our sweetheart table our wedding. We had no idea what a nightmare our own wedding would become. The owner was sweet enough to say "it was the worst wedding we've ever had". They admitted error but did NOTHING to refund anything. What they don't know? A childhood friend is a local news anchor & will air a consumer piece on my & a few others experience to expose EE. Stay tuned..please reach out to me before you make the biggest mistake ever if you need photos, emails, anything at all!

#1-West Manor is a gorgeous place. Go take pictures there on a weekday & have your wedding elsewhere. Hire the INCREDIBLE Solas Photography. The only perfect part of our wedding. It's a shame, such a beautiful place full of idiots lol

#2-They don't have ANY kind of kitchen on premises. They make the food then drive it to all their venues so bride & groom have warm food served 1st, but your guests won't. We upgraded our food & alcohol for a reason. They RAN OUT OF FOOD & we had 7 no shows. Forget the free buffet tix to try stuff because you won't get to try 80% of the food they offer up front as choices. We did this blind & it was stupid. People we paid extra to serve prime rib got served nasty cold noodles with oil & garlic chunks. They were severely understaffed (I read EE has extremely high turnover ie probably a crappy place to work). They hire college & HS kids to serve your food & bev who have ZERO experience. 1 bartender didn't know what a jigger was. Tables weren't being cleared-we have photos from 2 hrs after dinner with plates still on tables. My aunt was told to "wipe off a fork" by a server too lazy to get her another. We watched in horror wondering why we paid extra for a 2nd FULL bar. We wanted to avoid long lines. They had ALL alcohol at 1 bar & beer/wine only at another. We told them in advance our guests drink mostly liquor. Also paid extra for 130 champagne glasses. If you weren't sitting at the table by time of the pouring, then you didn't get a glass so my parents, busy hosting 130 people, didn't get ANY along with many others. They lost escort cards & treated one of my aunts & uncle for 20 mins like crashers vs taking 5 seconds to walk up to me & ask.

#3-$500 of the package goes for a DJ. They hire a college kid who LITERALLY uses Spotify to DJ. Apparently we can all be DJs for Entwined Events lol! I didn't hear from the DJ until 3 days prior to the wedding. We gave 8 PGS worth of music to her. We also indicated our parents wanted certain songs. She tells my Dad since she's never heard of the artist he asked for, she couldn't play his requests. She didn't announce our photobooth or outdoor smores bar. Those were extras we paid for that 75% of guests had no idea was there. We also had to do our 1st dance in front of our sweetheart table, not in the gorgeous conservatory where we had the parent dances. It was SO awkward...

#4-we used EE for lodging as well. A storm the night before our rehearsal forced my husband's family out of the Charlemont Lodge we'd rented. Why don't they have a generator?! So they were put at West Manor. There was a broken box spring on my sister in law's bed (literally had to drag mattress on the floor), NESTS in EVERY BUILDING of WOLF SPIDERS (YOU READ RIGHT-WE HAVE PHOTOS), 1 bathroom with 1 shower for 3 bedrooms to share in main house. 6 people for 1 shower?! There's no area to congregate there & our family got chased out of the only place with sofas & a TV that EE uses as a grooms lounge-even though it was OUR wedding being held there. We paid extra for the honeymoon cottage to use after the wedding. It that had A FULL SIZE BED & our own nest of wolf spiders. We got to listen to the romantic sounds of garbage bags full of clinking glass bottles, staff leaving & chatting outside our front door & to top it off? The planner was aggravated at how bad the night was & screamed "FUUUUUUUUUUU*K" at 12:03am outside our cottage too..

#5-the wedding planner we had was so nice up until the actual wedding weekend (Jamie). This woman hugged us, was great getting back to us, was very helpful at accommodating my disabilities. Then at our wedding, I realized how little attention she actually paid to our emails, calls, etc. I was a very detailed bride which planners usually like so there's no question what I wanted. I asked for votives on tables, flowers flush with table top, photobooth frames at place settings as gifts to let guests know we had that fun extra. Flowers were up in the air on ugly silver stands (main wedding color was gold), photobooth frames were on some 5' tall dresser in a corner of the photobooth area in the original cardboard box, no candles AT ALL anywhere. The majority of guests as mentioned before had no idea we had a photobooth at all! They didn't repurpose any of our ceremony flowers as promised, so those sat outside collecting dew vs enhancing the reception space. She promised a well lit courtyard for guests to do the s'mores bar & play games my girlfriends worked hard on for our cocktail hour. It was pitch black out (we have pics-even photographers pics were dark with professionally added light). I have every email of these very details proving these people up front pretend to care, but in the end they do what they want. Anything for a dollar. Because they were understaffed, our planner was busy trying to pick up the slack all throughout the wedding. Where was the owner Earl Prince? No where to be found leaving his team to blow up our most important day. Because of this, time flew by & we weren't allowed time to throw my bouquet or do the garter belt toss. I got a little sick towards the end & instead of letting me deal with it, she rushed to make my friends clean up our bridal suite & the groomsmen had to get Tom's stuff out of his room (which we could've gotten after the wedding since we were on premises the whole weekend). Our wedding party was cleaning when they could've been having fun with everyone else. These employees worked their hardest at 11pm kicking everyone out lol UGH..

#6-the only parts of our wedding EE did right? Our cake was gorgeous & delicious. Our flowers at our ceremony space were EXACTLY what we wanted. The fact that staff did not repurpose them for our reception space was really infuriating. $1200 in flowers wasted..makes me sick. How do we know they weren't repurposed? Because they're in the background of our couple pics from our shoot during the cocktail hour. Not one person came out for them..

SO-save your $ & save yourself from dealing with this hot mess of an event planning company. If West Manor is the fanciest choice with all these problems, Bella Rose & The Columns must be worse. Hard to imagine worse than what we experienced. Go to Sorella Farms, Boonsboro Country Club, Downtown Lynchburg...I wish we had.

I was very disappointed in the service that West Manor provided. I spent 8 months planning my BIG day. I gave them every detail of what was to happen and it was a DISASTER. My mom was actually in tears. Yes, the place is gorgeous but I was treated with disrespect on MY wedding day from the OWNER. The manager told my cater to go ahead and serve ALL the food before the bridal party even started taking the pictures, my out of town family had FINISHED eating before I got there. They were ready to leave before I even sat down.

We had paid and planned on having orderves,then once the bride & groom and bridal party was to be announced then EVERYONE would eat together. The manager, wedding planner, and DJ. all knew this from our previous meetings!!!!!!!!!! ...............I walked in and the tables had dirty plates and everyone was ready to say good-bye. When I approached the manager about it AT the reception she put me on the phone with her mother-in-law (the owner) and word for word she stated "o they aren't done eating"----considering she was out of town how in the world could she see that...as I was sitting there looking at an empty table with dirty plates on it......and then she stated very rudely......"you cant hold food when you have 170 people" -------------seriously, what do you think appetizers and orderves are for!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would NOT recommend this place to anyone.

I would never recommend for ANYONE to get married at this venue. The staff there are rude, inflexible, and uncaring. My wedding day and the days leading up to it were a disaster because of so much lapse in communication with the staff of this venue. The staff at this venue assumed way too much without talking to the bride and groom. The owner of this place is awful and very unfriendly on our wedding day...especially on a bride's most important day of her life you need someone a little more bubbly and compassionate. She was rude to us and our guests to the point where people were making comments about our beautiful wedding, but commenting on the rudeness of the staff and how they were treated. The staff is not flexible, and they are super structured and everything costs an extra penny. We chose to get married here because they promised that it would be stress free and the bride just comes and enjoys her day, but that was NOT the case at all. The only positive of this venue is their food, and the beauty of the ballroom, but if you do not want to deal with VERY rude and snotty people then I would recommend you look elsewhere. Once our wedding was over, and we addressed the issue of rudeness with the owner, we didn't even get an apology from her! Worst customer service!
